    5-0 out of 5 stars A collector's review.
Ever since watching the Dragons: Fire and Ice DVD (yes I watched it), I got hooked into collecting the Mega Bloks Dragons sets.I've been quite impressed with most of them and the Warriors Fortress is no exception.

To me it looks like a large ruined fortress that holds a powerful and valuable secret and some protection of keeping this secret unknown. That's if either army doesn't discover the trap door.It comes with two dragons and a good share of figures from the Valtheran and Warfang armies. The sucessful army will discover the secret that's to be revealed to them or else the two dragons will make way with the Power Stones.

The Warriors Fortress is very straight forward to put together.Make sure you put it together on a good solid and level surface. Some parts will be a little tight and tricky to put in place, but the end result is worth it.

The really cool feature is the statue once the Power Stones are in place. The two dragons light up and reveal the dragon mask.If the statues just light up and don't move, check for gaps under both Power Stones. There shouldn't be any gaps between the Power Stones and the sockets on the statue that they mount on.It's tricky at first, but once the Power Stones are properly in place the dragons will move and reveal the mask.

Again the Warriors Fortress is a really cool set of the Mega Bloks Dragons series.Despite some challenges of tight fitting parts, it's worth all the effort in the end.

5-0 out of 5 stars LAUNCH THE CATAPULT !!!
I THINK THIS WONDERFUL TOY IS SUITIBLE FROM AGES 9-14 IT IS NICE TO HAVE IN THE HOUSE KIDS CAN START WANTING TO LEARN ABOUT HISTORY , THE CIVIL WAR ECT. IT IS ALSO QUITE STURDY. I LIKE THE IDEA OF THEM ADDING 2 ARMIES INSTEAD OF 1. I ALSO LIKE THE 2 CATIPALTS, THEY LAUNCH FAR ENOUGH TO ATTACK ANOTHER ENCAMPMENT IF YOU WANTED TO HAVE A WAR.
THIS MY DISCRIPTION OF DRAGONS WARRIOR FORTRESS.

I own all the "Dragons" and "Dragons Krystal Wars" sets that our out on the market. When it comes to medieval knight and dragons with castles and fortresses, no one has produced better than Mega Bloks. Much cheaper than Lego, but every bit as fun and durable. Excellent customer service on replacement parts for broke, missing or other wise. I highly recommend these products to collector and child builder alike. ... Read more

    Dragons Lair

    Editorial Review

Sure, the working catapult is great, and the dragon that can be made to flap its wings is even better, but it’s the little things that really make this set come to life; like the gothic ornamentation on the heavy fortress doors, the weather-worn rocks, and the hollow stumps. The flexibility the pieces allow is also a big plus: the earth and architectural elements can be combined in almost any configuration imaginable. The knight figures are surprisingly ferocious looking, and are ingeniously designed to stand freely, snap in place on the ground, or mount horses and dragons. The weaponry and armor is simply fantastic, and a lot of it is removable. There is one flaw though;some of the pieces don’t snap together as securely as they should, especially various dragon parts that are prone to fall off. Requires 2 AAA batteries (for dragon effects). ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun but flimsy
I, like many others, am a fantasy lover.I've always love the medieval times and everything about them as they have always fascinated me.I loved the Sorcerer's Lair because it really allowed me to use my imagination.Like many others have said, it isn't put together very well, and the instructions aren't great, but it's fun.For half price, this set is worth the money and you really should give it a try.I have some of the medieval lego sets, and they just aren't the same. Not near as much detail, so there goes half of the fun.But this set is truly amazing and gives you loads of freedom to think up battle scenes for it, and taking it apart and building new things. If you are hesitant about buying this, then don't be.This set is worth the money. Period.

4-0 out of 5 stars Sorcerer's Lair is Fun
[]I love these kind of sets. They're alot like warhammer(the characters), I like warhammer but it's too expensive so I got this and I love it. It's not the most durable but if you use youre brain you can make epic battle scenes. The dragons legs are weak, but the magnetic claws and light up eyes make up for it. I like this set, so I hope you do. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars The Dragon Slayer
I have just gotten the Dragon Slayer and I must say that it isn't the most fun compared to all the other Dragons Sets but it is a VERY good starter set. This set comes with one golden Warrior and spear it also includes a Ballista with three shots, some ruins and a hill, rock, cliff, field whatever you want to call it and a Green Dragon Torchwing of the Warfang Team with a green powerstone, moving wings, magnetic claws and a movable jaw.I don't think this set is a lot of fun because it only has one man or Padraig the Dragon Slayer for his name and one ballista, But imagine Padraig the leader of his small army marching angainst the evil Dragon Torchwing, now that would be fun and it would make an epic battle scene. But coming back to reality, you could buy this because it is easy to build and could be fun if you put the right amount of imagination into it. I think you should buy this because it is not very exspensive and worth the money.

4-0 out of 5 stars At least this one stays together!
If only all the other Dragons sets could be so simple. The Sorcerers Lair is a piece of junk and very difficult to put together. The 2nd story won't even snap on to the first floor so every time you try to touch it the thing falls completely apart! My son won't even play with it because he is afraid it will fall apart so now it is a decoration.I would take it back but I threw the box away and my son wants to keep it anyway.Just beware of the other sets as they are difficult to put together and the instructions are terrible. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Megablox dragons Battle gate.
this toy is perfect for a rainy day or a normal day. After a while this toy gets boring but then it gets fun again. It comes with 8 different men 1 dragon 1 catapult and lego peices to build your fortress. This toy is very fun to play with and it streches the imagination. It is one of four different items Battle gate, Dragon slayer, sorcerers lair and warriors fortress. This toy is a perfect buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Value
This is a great toy ...!
I bought one for my son then ordered more to give out as gifts, the set is much bigger than the picture looks and it certainly makes a great gift for very cheap!
The dragon looks amazing you would think it was a sculpture and the men while having the slightly blockey body still have a nice metallic finish and look better then any block characters i've seen! As with all blocks on stacking there will always be some minor imperfections with snugness etc but these were very minor.

All and all if you have a dragon, block set, or castle lover this is great! (and may even start some dragon lovers)

5-0 out of 5 stars Its better than Dragon Slayer
I on Man-o-War, Dragon gate, and Dragon Slayer and I just added five boxes of little men to my collection. THIS TOY IS CHEAP AND IT RULES!!! Well the only problem was the pieces a little on the bad side but everything else is cool! Like the Awsome dragon. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Highly Entertaining
I am 13 years old and I enjoyed this toy. This is the first and only dragon set i have so far and i have to say, this is one cool toy! The set is highly detailed and comes in a cool gold tin to store the peices in when not using.

Firstly, as stated above, the set is highly detailed. I was amazed at the detail and individuality of each individual warrior. If I'm not mistaken, this set comes with the largest amount of warriors. When fully set up, it actually looks like a battle seen because of all of the warriors.

The dragon, which by far is the best part of the set, sports a golden, shiny finish, which fades into black in the wings. His nose is pierced with a ring that has a chain attatched to it. (I assume that the chain is used for a sort of reins)Flappable wings, red spikes and poseable legs also contribute to this lively beast. The one, single thing that could be better about this animal, is the problem I have with the wings falling off. They could be better secured in some way. Over all, the dragon is a wonderful addition to the set!

Some of the minor parts of the set give part in making it so entertaining; the campfire, the horse, the working crossbow. All of these things add flare to this magnificent set.

Overall, I give this set a 5 star rating!

5-0 out of 5 stars great....but bring on the pain...
im 13...i got this as an early christmas present and was very excited...the dragon is cool, the figurines are detailed..and it was all around very cool looking...i have just a few suggestions...the peices were pretty hard to snap together and adding too much pressure can break your masterpeice..so be careful...my hands were literally burning and bright red with imprints on them from pressing down so hard...so becareful about that...another thing...the stone would be cooler if it actually stuck to the dragon...just a thoguht...

    all around...an awesome toy!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Worth checking out.
Ok. I love the dragon's series. But I won't let my obsession bias this review into a perfect rating.
Firstly, the durability. Though in general the pieces are fairly strog, there are some fragile parts. An example would be a ballista(the giant crossbow on wheels)of mine. The peg which held on the wheel snapped off, and the elastic broke as they didn't begin using springs until Krystal Wars. Also, the dragons and krystals could be considered fragile, but I don't have a problem with them myself.
Though this toy doesn't have much educational value, it is very entertaining. Who likes learning toys anyway, eh? :P This particular set is an awesome addition to the dragons series. It is the first set(aside from Dragon Slayer) to include Draigar, and it has more figures than any other set. It also has quite a few pieces and makes a castle larger than the Warrior's fortress, which was the first major set released. It includes a collector's coin and comes in a nice tin case. ... I got this set for my birthday.I liked it,because it was very
realistic. It had real cloth for sails. It also had 12 soldiers. It
was easier to build than other sets. But I think that they should have aded more Draigar. All in all it was a good set.

5-0 out of 5 stars durable fun and uh durable
There was a guy somewhere up there called Michal Harringer and I think he has some serious issues, to say mega blocks is a cheap substitute to lego, hwell I'm a lego fan so i will support them but mega blocks is not a cheap substitute, they're artists. They don't do the rubbish lego do even if there bricks arn't as good, they give fine quality products like this Man'o'war. Durable detailed artistic in fact i think you and lego are jealous.

    Draigar Castle
Average Customer Review: 4.0 out of 5 stars
    Toy

US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France

    Editorial Review

This sprawling 485-piece set from Mega-Bloks combines elements of The Lord of the Rings, Dungeons & Dragons, and, well, construction toys to form an entertaining and complex experience. It all takes place at the big red castle of the Draigars, a group of good guys who are apparently locked in conflict with not one but two groups of baddies: the Norvagens, who look like a bunch of mummies, and the Vorgans, who all look like Shrek. There are plenty of figures from all three groups here. The castle features a drawbridge and a host of secret features, spring-loaded cannons and harpoons for instance, to keep the mummies and Shreks on their toes and give the Draigar's a distinct home castle advantage. Further complicating things are three winged dragons capable of capturing the figures in their jaws, holding them (magnetically) in their claws, and generally flying around freaking people out.--Charlie Williams ...
