This Pliko Matic stroller from Peg Pérego is a goodchoice for parents who want the portability of a lightweight strollerwith some of the convenience and design features of a midsize stroller.Mounted on an aluminum frame and four sets of sturdy plastic wheels,the stroller's seat is nicely cushioned--with thick padding on andaround the seat itself, and an additional thin layer of padding aroundthe legs and across the front safety bar. The seat can be adjusted tothree different recline angles, but it requires two hands to make theadjustment to a lower angle. Don't believe the hype!
I had a horrible, very cheap stroller for my first child so when we found out we were having another, I was adamant about getting "the best" stroller I could get.I had heard Peg Perego was just that.After owning the Plikomatic for a little over a year I have to say there is definitely room for improvement.The stroller has a five-point harness which I am very grateful for because my son is an escape artist.However, the harness attaches to the stroller at the top with a little loop and plastic tab.This is absolutely ludicrous!My 14-month old only has to squirm a little to get it free.The storage underneath is useless and inaccessible.The metal frame takes up all the space and I still haven't found the secret to slipping my bag in and out.The cup holder is a lie.It only holds those skinny bottles of water.If you get a drink from a vending machine or even a standard soft drink cup you end up holding it because it won't fit.Besides, mine fell off the second time I tried to use it and won't stay on anymore.This stroller is very difficult to maneuver with one hand, but I'm mastering that.I do kick the wheels frequently while walking quickly, even with the handles extended, and I'm only 5'6".It is a very smooth riding stroller, but when I try to push it up and down narrow aisles I always end up stuck.Even with the front wheels locked they seem to get caught.My son loves this stroller, however.It snuggles around him like a little cocoon and he's very comfortable.The canopy folds all the way down which is great for keeping the sun or rain out.I absolutely love that.I also love all the adjustments you can make to the baby's positioning.It has come in handy as my son has grown.We ordered our stroller with the snack tray, which is the only way to go.I really wish there was a parent tray, though.You definitely cannot close the stroller with one hand, but once you break it in it isn't hard to do at all.I love how lightweight it is and it only takes up a little space in my car and I have a Honda CRV.I also have a Chicco stroller but I never use it since it doesn't have nearly as many features as the Peg Perego and weighs almost as much.Plan on taking some time to put it together.The directions were not easy to follow.All in all it is a nice stroller.I always get comments on its appearance, but it feels a little cheaply made for the price we paid.Do your research!!!

I bought this stroller for my 3rd child. I like that the seat reclines so far back, but when the baby falls asleep it is difficult to recline smoothly. I find that one side drops down and the other has to be pushed down. This is the same in reverse. One side comes up before the other. It is super easy to get the baby in and out of this stroller. This stroller is very light weight and folds up pretty small. I hate the cup holder and wish I'd never bothered to attach it. It doesn't hold anything except for my keys which I clip onto the holder. I had to buy hooks to hang packages from the handles b/c it is very difficult to access the basket underneath. This is a very attractive stroller that is convenient if you need a small lightweight stroller.

We found this stroller very comfy for our son- he likes it. The fabric has ripped away from the canopy, the straps come out almost everytime we take him out, it's very wide in stores, and is almost impossible to manuever with one hand.We bought this for my fourth child the others had a Graco/Evenflo.I guess we didn't know how good we had it with graco/evenflo! Can't get enough

This gymni is a great buy. This monitor rocks the house!
This monitor is so great that even living in a basement you can hear the baby outside and all the way to the front of the house! {My husband & I tested it out} The two things I didn't like about this monitor is that if you had it anywhere near the phone and it rang it would pick up on the same frequency and the vibrator wasn't very strong. Another thing to think about is the fact that the monitor is so powerful so if you live in a small area it will ring very loud on even the lowest volume.

Too good not to get!
I love this monitor!I also registered for this after reading the reviews.The only drawback I've found is I live in a neighborhood with alot of other young families, and can pick up on their babies sounds because it's so powerful.So, make sure your neighbors don't have the same monitor, unless you want them to hear you and your baby at your most private monments.

very clear!
I registered for this monitor and have been using it since the day we brought my son home from the hospital.
He's now 5 months old and I have nothing bad to say about the monitor.It is crystal clear - I can even hear him breathing in the monitor - and it's across the room from him!!
I have definite piece of mind that he is ok being able to hear the simplist things with no static or interference.

WONDERFUL
Originally I bought the evenflor johnny jump up and my son didnt fit properly in it.So we took it back and got this one.i was weary of the Graco name because my son fell out of their travel lite swing but this was the only brand my babies r us had at the time and it was a reasonable price.My son will jump til his heart is content....he has even fallen asleep in it quite a few times.He is almost 7 months old now and doesnt do it anymore but it was so cute I took pictures.

As for an earlier review of the baby falling through.i've looked at my jumpster and I dont know how they could fall through unless the seat isnt on securely.That is probably considered a consumer fault.I think they should come put together though.After all, the box is big enough for it to.I know because i bought it before he knew how to use it and stuck it in the box until he could.

BUY THIS JUMPER!!!
I think I received every baby gadget imaginable at my shower, and this is by far the best thing I own for my son. He is 7 months and still adores this jumper. If we didn't force him to do something else he would stay in it all day!!! We also get as much enjoyment as he does watching him bounce around. This is a definite must-have for every new mom and dad. It's also very reasonably priced, well-made and is super easy to install.

lots of fun for parents and baby
This was the one baby product my mom insisted we had to have, and our 6 month old son really enjoys it. We have it in the kitchen doorway, so he can spin to watch Mommy work or Daddy at the computer in the next room. He loves being able to propel himself up and down. My mom had an older one that hangs like a sack without the tray, and I definitely like this version with the tray better. It bumps against the doorway and seems to help him jump better and is safer. Great for a baby who loves to kick!
My brother got this for us as shower gift.It has been indispensible!My daughter figured out pretty quickly how to make the music play, and has been mesmerized by it ever since!Now that she is almost three months old, she is starting to kick the toys that hang down, too.It's a really nice way to put her down while I cook or clean, but not have to put her directly on the floor (we have ceramic tile in our kitchen).It's small enough, too, to take places so that she has something to do at grandma's, ect.Between this and the Musical Garden Activity Mat, she is a happy, active baby!

I can't say enough about this bouncer.I have a 6 month old son that is still enjoying this seat.He can get it bouncing so good and just loves to be in it.It cradles him just right and I never worry about him falling out or off.He has been in it all 6 months and I don't know what I would do without it. Absolutely Fantastic!
We bought this for our now 3 year old son for his first Christmas.He loved it!We've since passed it on to our friends for their baby.This is a great way to keep baby busy while you get ready in the morning.This combined with the Baby Einstein videos gave me the freedom to get dressed in the morning or mop the floor or anything else you can't do while holding a baby.

A Mommy (and baby) must-have!!
Our daughter LOVED this toy!!!She would sit, play, bounce, and enjoy it for hours.And I was able to take a shower (and do other things, too) without one of us bursting into tears in frustration!Though pricey, it is worth the money.Granted, there may be a few children out there who would not enjoy it, but they are probably few and far between.This toy does take up some space, but it's not that bad.A hint: though much more expensive, if space is at a premium, there is a similar toy available that folds down (can't remember if it's Graco or Evenflo--check it out).Another hint: you might also try hunting for these at garage sales and second-hand stores (like Kid-to-Kid).It will cut down on the cost, and they're usually in pretty good condition.I HIGHLY recommend purchasing this toy!!!

Great for baby, great for parents!
Whoever came up with this one deserves a medal. At 6 months, our son loves playing in it and stays entertained. He's really taken to grabbing and playing with all the attachments and I would even go so far as to say it's helping him develop strong hand-eye coordination.Best of all, baby stays occupied while we cook dinner or do anything that requires putting him down for a few minutes.Defintely the best baby accessory we acquired! ... Happily, the Roundabout puts all those elements together to create what could be the perfect seat for kids up to 40 pounds. It’s equipped with a 5-point harness and while it can be easily installed in any back seat, it is also outfitted for use with the LATCH system of car seat anchorage. As for comfort, picture a car seat combined with a teddy bear and you’ll have a pretty good idea what the Roundabout feels like. Soft brown padded fabric and straps that hold firmly while being gentle on the child. We were also impressed with the seat’s versatility. Best Car Seat Out There
My wife and I had heard about this car seat from my sister that lives in Texas. Being that we were new to the whole baby car seat thing, we were looking for advice. She told us that it was the best car seat out there, and almost two years later I will have to say she was right.
Our little girl loves this seat, it has much better cushioning then most seats out there. Another thing is the fabric of the seat it self, it has been two years and it literally looks like new. We have friends who have car seats that have very little use and you can see every little stain on them not to mention the stiching coming undone. They like to kid us and say how we must wash the car seat cover every week, with a two year old, who really has the time to do that?
Our girl has used this car seat since comeing home from the hospital, and I will admit that for a newborn it is rather big (we bought the pillow with the sides on it to support her head) but still they grow so fast that I find it sort of stupid to buy one of those small car seats that they will out grow in 6 months, when this one is just as safe or even better.
The button on the front to release the straps in order to better fit them on your baby is incredibly easy to use. Unlike other car seats, it can be easily used in the front or back position and you don't have to be He-Man to pull the strap free.
Now if the only thing that is keeping you from buying this car seat is the price, well I will admit when we bought it I had my reservations about spending this much money on a car seat when there are others much less expensive.So being the true blue husband that I am, I decided that we should buy a less expensive car seat for our other car. What a waste of money! It is incredibly uncomfortable , the straps wobble and bend ( for you new parents out there, this is a major pain, believe me ,especially with a baby in your hands),the button to release the straps is a hassle and you really have to pull hard on them to give a little (my wife really hates that). To put it bluntly, it is not too expensive it is worth every penny. Oh and by buying this "less expensive" car seat I just threw $100.00 in the trash, and it was all my fault(my wife made me say that).
So it's no surprise that we are going to buy the Britax Marathonfor when our little girl gets too big for this one and leave the Roundabout for our next little bundle.
After reading all this if you are still not sure of what car seat to buy ,go to your local Toys r Us and try some out, if you're still not sure you must be insane. Buy it it's worth it, and so's your baby.

THE BEST CAR SEAT AROUND - HANDS DOWN!!!!
If you are in the market to buy a car seat - DON"T BUY ANYTHING BUT THE BRITEX!We have had ours for the past four years and it is wonderful. After a year of "changing" seats for our two cars we went and bought another "cheaper" model thinking, we would only be using it about 10% of the time. Well, after using the BRITEX there is no other car seat. We wished we spent the extra money for the 2nd seat and actually gave the other one away and bought another BRITEX. This car seat is so easy to use, you can get your kids in and out quickly and easily. The belts don't bunch up like others do and it lasts for a long time. My son is 4 and is still 36 lbs. so we have had it awhile. We bought another one when I had my 2nd child............ it is great if you have to take it out and put it in another car. Easy to install.... all car seats ARE NOT easy to install. With this one, you can't install it incorrectly and it installs tightly. This past summer my husband's car was hit broadside with the kids in it. Our car was hit so hard it rolled twice. The car was totaled, my husband who wore his seat belt had a head injury but how about the kids? Well, they were in their BRITEX car seats and were absoultely untouched. This can not be said for other car seats. I am sooo happy we spent the "extra" money for the BEST car seat around. You should too!

Still loving my Roundabout after 2 years!
Love this seat! We purchased this seat for my daughter when she was 5 months old and was too long for her infant carrier. She's just had her second birthday and we are still pleased. I was wondering if we needed to change her to a booster soon, so decided to look around. She is very tall for her age @ 36" and 30 lbs!

Well, I am happy to report that we are still able to use the seat for some time. The max for weight is 40lbs.I just have to check the height! I feel that age shouldn't have anything to with it as the manufacturer recommends. I didn't really have to check online for the weight requirements because I would find the manual conveniently located in the pouch provided and located on the back of the chair where you will need them~ outside in the car! Not in a folder in my file cabinet in my house. ~But, I was here looking at lightweight strollers anyway, so I checked it out.

I have always loved the safety and smart,stylish features my Britax seat provides... LATCH sytem, sturdy foam padded interior, plush comfortable seat that still looks great after lots of snacks ground into it and leaks of all sorts! Secure straps with a comfy pad in between the legs which is great for when she's wearing shorts, or just a bathing suit coming home from the beach. No pinching! Also love the velcro on the back of the straps keeping them against the sides of the seat so when we get into the car quickly I don't have to dig for them. We went through two New England winters before coming down south, and that was so convenient with bulky buntings and ski jackets!
The recline feature is nice for long rides or for an infant~ though mine always preferred to sit up and look around!

I always get wonderful comments from other moms and dads about our Roundabout, especially those whose kids are older.They're so jealous they didn't have such a convenient car seat! I'm also a former Nanny who has seen her share of flimsy car seats. Be confident when you spend the money for this seat. It is absolutely worth it. We're not the most affluent family and I've never had one second thought. When we have our next child he or she will be using Britax for sure, but what will I use for a booster seat for my growing toddler?

My daughters favorite toy
We can't say enough how much we love this bee.Our daughter has loved it since she was 2 months.Her face lights up when we bring it out for her.All the legs makes it easy for her to pick it up and play with it.She is now 6 months old and buzz is still her favorite.

Buzz is the BEST
My 4 month old son LOVES this bug.Two of Buzz's legs have plastic rings on them and my son loves to put those in his mouth and hold them in his hands.The wings make a crinkling sound and all of Buzz's legs make this toy easy to hold and move for my little guy.Outstanding, we take this bug everywhere!

Great toy!!
My son is almost six months old and loves to play with Buzz. It keeps his attention when he's in the stroller or sitting in the car seat. My son especially likes the crinkly sounds the wings make. This toy will make you want to take a nap. Equipped with straps that attach it to a crib, this play aquarium and music maker is the perfect thing to amuse a child or soothe them to sleep. There are three settings, depending on what kind of stimulation is needed: music only; music plus soft glowing lights; and music plus lights, bubbles, and moving fish. There are also three music options, the best one offering soft and melodic New Age fare, the other two somewhat odd, spacey versions of familiar lullabies. The music combined with the lights creates an instantly peaceful, soothing ambiance. There are a couple of buttons and doodads for baby to bat around that make the fish react in various ways. great product
My son has had this toy since he was about five months old.He is now two and still loves this toy.He is now in a bed but this toy is on the floor next to his bed and he still puts it on before he climbs into bed.I have recommended this toy to anyone who is having a child.I think it is a wonderfully soothing toy for a child and has volume control and musical options.I wish they would come out with something similar for an older child.

I purchased this before my son was born to go with the whole aquarium theme I wanted! ITS GREAT!!! it has put him to sleep so many times! Even when he'd wake in the middle of the night I would just hit the button and back to sleep he went! Its VERY soothing so calming it has put me to sleep! My son is now 14 months and still has it on his crib he now pushes the music on his own and plays with the buttons he still thinks its great! I would HIGHLY recommened this to any mother who needs her sleep!

This deluxe version of the portable playard has several specialfeatures. It includes a metal-framed bassinet that hangs over theframe. (The bassinet is as long as the playard is wide: about 25inches.) Whether folded up in its carrying bag or set up for use, theplayard can be wheeled from room to room on two large rubber wheels(rather than casters). And the attractive denim/plaid/stripes designhas safety features such as a twist lock to prevent the structure frombeing collapsed accidentally. I Really Loved This!!!
I had, had a "playpen" with my first daughter and was pretty much disgusted with the whole idea of them.The one that was given to me was like a baby cage and the bottom of it was terribley unsturdy.When I became pregnant with my second daughter I didn't think that I would purchase a new one.One day on a whim I decided to go to the store and pick some stuff I saw this one and fell in love with it.It seemed perfect.The only thing that I was slightly disappointed with was the fact that it didn't have a changing station like many of the others that you see out there.Other than that I thought that it was great it enabled my daughter to sleep in the bassinet section in my room for the first 3 months without myself having to purchase a seperate bassinet.Once we were done with the bassinet part it has been great for overnights to grandmas.When we are home it serves as a great place for her to play and practice walking.It was however a little confusing the first couple of times on how to set it up and take it down but now that I have it fugured out I think that its a snap!I would definetly recomended this product to anyone for the price you definetly get your moneys worth and the tent over the top is an added bonus!

Easy to Use/Travels Well
We've been using this product since my daughter was an newborn and have found that it travels well, wheels well, packs easily, and my daughter sleeps well in it.The drawbacks are that there is no changing table.Also, we never had an occasion to use the netting over the top (which we were sure we would use).
