4-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful endeed but...
Anyone who bought and enjoyed the original CandC: Generals won't go far wrong doing the same again with this expansion. Your money buys you another 15 single player missions all complete with new units, a `challenge' scenario where you can choose a general that suits your style of play and put him up against 8 others as well as the usual skirmish and multiplay modes.

The graphics and sound are excellent, as could be expected from a developer of this pedigree, with the cut scenes giving a truly professional feel to the whole experience. Explosions and animation are superb, I particularly like the way bodies fly through the air as a bunker is blown up, and the screams of anguish as troopers die a painful chemical death never fails to bring a smile (I know, I'm a sick git).

Gameplay is fluid, albeit a little slow in places, while it should also be noted that he who rules the skies, wins (99 times out of 100 anyway). The GLA missions are slightly harder to my mind as there is no air power at all, but more enjoyable due to the downright nastiness of the terrorists. Winning a skirmish against the USA with all the superior weaponry is particularly satisfying and being able to camouflage your units and buildings making them very hard to spot gives an edge that is hard to beat - lets face it, its damn hard to destroy something if you can't see it. Chinese forces are once again numerous and it seems to me that my favourite Overlord is now a tad more vulnerable to rocket toting troops, but the vision of ½ a dozen or so of these beasts lumbering through an enemy base camp, supported by a couple of the most excellent Dragons to clear those troublesome buildings is one I can't get enough of. As always, the USA tend to dominate, and the initial scenario is great for refreshing the memory banks and getting back to grips with all the controls.

The interface is, as usual, totally user friendly and it doesn't take much to get everything quickly set up to your liking. My son was not much impressed by the screen that appears after the loading scenes - unless a key is pressed or the mouse moved, it looks like the program has locked up and he sat there for ages before he realised this (heheheh - kids of today!!)

My only real gripe with this is that, once again, the game doesn't deliver what appears to be promised on the box. I was hoping and praying for the return of the naval units but no such luck - you get a carrier (USA) but can't actually do anything with it apart from launch air missions - most disappointing. Overall though, this certainly ranks as one of the better expansions and does improve the original - if only slightly.

5-0 out of 5 stars A must have for Generals Fans.
Once you play Generals with this expansion you'll never play plain ol' gnerals again.

5-0 out of 5 stars Extends playlife of Generals to infinity...
...that may be something of an exgaggeration, but this statement isn't: If you loved Generals and haven't played Zero Hour, you have cause for celebration. At the time of this writing, Zero Hour has been out roughly 1.5 years (games live in "dog years" compared to other media), and as far as Real Time Strategy Games go, I put this at, or very near the top of my list, ahead of most every contemporary RTS.

    Why?

To many reasons to list, but basically because Zero Hour completely refreshes Generals. If you played Generals like me (a psycho, social-life-debilitating amount), you pretty much had the game down; you knew build order, offense, counters, etc.Zero Hour completely reshuffles the deck by introducing a whole host of brand new units, as well as the ability to play as a General of a certain skill set that gives him advantages (like air/ground/nuclear, etc).

Can you say "C130 Gunship", "Heavy Chinese attack Heli", "Suicide Motorcylist"...when my buddy sent in a huge plane that dropped a bunch of leaflets on my troops to urge them not to fight, I almost came apart with laughter.Good times.

In addition to the General abilities, new maps, and new units, the games graphics have noticably improved.

I couldn't recommend this higher. For RTS fans that haven't checked Zero Hour out yet, don't hesitate to buy this Expansion Pack, this game's got a lot of life in it yet.

    Enjoy,

5-0 out of 5 stars They finally star in a game, and it's good too
One could very rightly say that there is sort of a rivalry between the Mario Bros. Mario has starred in big games like Mario 64, Sunshine, Mario World, Mario 3 etc. Luigi however doesn't really have great games. He was in Mario is Missing and Luigi's Mansion and he only has co-starring roles like in Mario Party or Mario Kart. So finally they pair up and even then they reference the rivalry in the first game in awhile they star together in.

Story: Princess Cackaletta is bringing a gift to Princess Toadstool only she steals Princess' voice and replaces it with explosive vocabulary. Her words are literally bombs that explode. So off Mario and Luigi, a reluctant Bowser and some other cameos are along for the ride(sort of) has the Mario Bros try to rescue the Princess' voice.

Graphics: Some find it ugly, others say it fits perfectly in this context. I say it's both. It's not incredibly animated like Golden Sun and even one could say Mario RPG from the SNES looks better than this but it fits the atmosphere of the game.

Sound/Music: The ever popular Mario theme returns, as usual remixed too. There is little to no voice acting besides Mario's "let's go!" or Luigi's "alright!" and some other things. Mario games tend to have very little voice acting anyway.

Gameplay: You ONLY control the Mario Bros. This game is the spiritual successors to Mario RPG and Paper Mario, games where you controlled not just the Brothers, but here it's strictly a family affair. And so of course gameplay and battle screens A controls Mario and B controls Luigi always. It's kind of confusing at first, especially since RPG's were always one button for action commands but you'll get the hang of it.

The Brothers can team up on both play areas. Let's say that that platform is too high for them to jump. Put Mario in front and activate Luigi's power with the L and they can do a high jump. Likewise, substituting Luigi for Mario, they can do a Spin Jump which allows them to travel platforms too spaced out. Other abilities come your way like shrinking Mario or pounding Luigi into the dirt.

The game has a light-hearted feel with the dialogue and while not as sharply written as Paper Mario: TTYD, it's still enjoyable to read, especially to the nods to past Mario/Luigi adventures.

The game can be slightly challenging to the young-uns but then again even some stages in Super Mario World will drive anyone nuts but at least it's forgiving here and it's a good game too so it won't hurt to pick it up.

5-0 out of 5 stars Like a Dream Come True! The top of the game pyramid!
I really mean FUN with this Mario Luigi game! I never knew about this game until I got it with my GBA SP (See my last review for info about GBA SP). It's a mix of fantasy, RPG, and wits! You keep doing RPG things. BUT.... You can press buttons for defense, attack, and many new attacks that you learn along the way. I remember playing on of the old Mario games on my Gameboy, This is a revolution for GBPs (Gameboy Packs) (Which means games to play on GB).

You are supposed to rescue not the princess, but her "VOICE". They were stolen by some wierd looking bean guys. You travel with Bowser and try to rescue her voice, but you got separated by him. Mario and Luigi must go to the Beanbean kingdom where the new enemy plans some tricks up her sleeve! This is easy with action, but you need to think in order to finish it. No brains, you won't even finish a level! Oops, gotta play Superstar Saga, I would like to say more, but that's all I'll say. Bye-bye!

You may read no longer of my review......

5-0 out of 5 stars Pure joy
I have a theory about games like these. My theory is that their developers have secret access to a mysterious element called Happy, which they tuck into the microchip before shipping the game. This causes the strange effect of players not being able to cease smiling as they play the game. I have fallen under the effects of Happy, and here's why.

I loved the look of this game. Clear, sharp, and colorful, with gorgeous animation. I highly reccomend that you play it on a DS or GBA SP, as the extra light heightens the graphics to glorious levels.

The battle system is wonderful. You may not be able to believe that the superb Paper Mario combat system would translate well to a handheld, but ah, how wrong you'd be. Timing the button presses takes concentration, but is never frustrating or boring. You can use hammers, jumps, or even magical powers to attack, as well as an array of fun items.

Then there are the puzzles. This is where the Happy element is in its strongest form. As you progress in the game, you'll earn new abilities, and each and every one will help you solve the near-perfect puzzles. Use your hammer to whack the brother in front of you into the ground...light your partner's pants on fire to make him dash...or jump on his head to reach a high ledge. Whatever it is you have to do, it always makes sense. For this reason, I would reccomend playing without a strategy guide, since using one would ruin the fun of figuring the puzzles out.

The story, which is beautiful in its simplicity, has many twists and turns, so you never know what you might be doing next. One minute you could be hunting for beans to make Yoshis lay eggs, and the next you might be strategically using your hammer to help a fashion designer dye her clothes. This keeps the game fresh and exciting at every turn.

RPG elements are integrated masterfully. You can gain experience, level up, and even buy new equipment. These features add to the game, but never become a pain.

From the beginning, which features Mario running around in his underwear, to the end sequence, wherein Bowser is tied to the back of a plane in a gigantic gift box, this game is pure joy. So play it already. Feel the Happy. ... Read more

This game is excellent! It is just like the super mario brothers games that were out when I had my first Nintendo game player. It is identical to the Super Mario Bros 3 original, but they added additional secrets and graphics that give it a more modern video game appeal. Absolutely the best game for kids, it has goals and requires strategy, which many video games today lack. This is a game I still enjoy playing as an adult. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Game, definitely worth 30 bucks.
Great graphics, can use items like three different types of walking stick, the Ring, Sting, throwing rocks, firecrackers, and many more. Has lines straight out of the books. A good action, adventure, stealth game makes it an instant classic as fun as Return of the King for GBA.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Resurrection of Classic RPG Gaming.
"THE HOBBIT" is what many refer to as a simplistic action/adventure game with many RPG elements, challenging bosses, unique sidequests, and a sufficient replayability value. I call it a rebirth of the classic RPG. I see all the signs: poor story-telling, with more time spent on graphics and action; quirky characters and attempted humor that often comes off as being childish or moronic; and sad dialogue that sounds like it was pulled from a children's book. Obsessive Tolkien fans might be dissapointed; RPG fans may not understand the full story, as little explanation to "whom or what" is given. This game straddles the fence of failures-- but I love it. Many people may love it. It's one of those things you either adore or abhor. It's as if the staff of Vivendi forgot that the game just might have a specific audience. Oh, well. At least give it a try. If you're a casual gamer (like myself), you might enjoy this game. Personally, I don't have enough time or money to sit around playing video games all day long, even if I am a home study student. But little Bilbo (the main character) does provide enough distraction in those tired, frustrated moments to consider renting or buying him. Personally, I'd rent it first, or wait until you see it on a bargain rack before I went out I spent a lot of money on it.

PLOT: Bilbo Baggins, the "hobbit" and title character, joins a troupe of dwarves on a mission to regain treaure from an evil dragon-- but many things go wrong.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Best Game Ever!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best racing game available for GBA
This is a very entertaining game. I'll agree with previous reviews it is somewhat difficult, but once you've learned the controls and experiment with different cars, its a truely fun game.

I like that the game offers over 40 tracks and nearly 100 cars. At first I used some of the cheat codes to unlock everything, but I eventually have unlocked it myself by playing the game.

There are 3 bonus features that you can unlock as well - go cart racing, rc car racing and wire frame car racing. The go cart and rc racing is a blast!! Now that I've unlocked these, I play them as much as the rest of the game.

One final note, there are 4 different modes of play to keep you interested. First is the championship (sort of a season mode)second a quick race, third a timed race and finally drift combo.

3-0 out of 5 stars An O.K. Game
This game was O.K.It is pretty tough.I thought it would keep me entertained, but I got bored quick.I still will say that it was a pretty good game though.

I had just bought this game recently and it is great ! There are plenty of levels to choose from and winning all the cars is awsome. Also to race up against a friend is the best!

5-0 out of 5 stars A TOTALLY HOT RACING GAME!!!
NFSPU was my first GBA game I have got. I just love the graphics of the racing games that Game Boy Advanced put out like Mario Kart Super Circuit, Need for speed Underground, ect.
If you like the Need for speed series then buy it now. It is a really good game and I really liked it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not bad
The graphics in this game are on a par with those in Need for Speed Underground for the GBA.Which means that the 3D objects are all very blocky and blurry, but they move fluidly enough. The gameplay is alright, but I found NFSU more fun.The feeling of real speed seems to be missing from this one. Also, the invisible walls on side of some of the tracks drive me crazy.

The in-car "cockpit" view is a nice touch, along with the ability to usethe shoulder buttons to look to the left, right, and behind to see the cars around you.But you lose the look-around capability if you opt for manual transmission, which requires the shoulder buttons for shifting. You can also switch to the typical behind-the-car view.

I read somewhere that NFSPU was based on (or used the same engine as) one of the V-Rally games.I don't remember the details, or know how true that is.But the nicest graphics I have seen to date on the GBA were in V-Rally 3.Unfortunately, the gameplay in V-Rally 3 kind of sucked.NFSPU does not look as good as V-Rally 3, but the gameplay is a bit better.

There are far worse racing games for the GBA than this one.But this one is not the best.Overall, I still prefer NFSU. ... Read more

I am proud to say that I serve my community here in Niagara County in Western New York as a Firefighter and an EMT.I always kind of wondered, however, on MCIs (Mulitple Casuality Incidents) how hard it is for the command officer to take charge and get things done.I did not know what it would be like.I guess this showed me!

4-0 out of 5 stars A good basic racing game
Corvette is a nice, simple little racing game. It consists of eight "areas" of the US, each of which has three "challenges". The areas get sequentially tougher, and each one you beat unlocks a new Corvette.

It's not a very long or complex game, but it's fun to leave in your GBA for when you need something to fill five to ten minutes (approx. one challenge). The races and challenges are just tough enough to be fun without being overly frustrating.

The gameplay graphics are decent. The reward pictures of different Corvettes are oddly good, compared to the actual racing graphics. (That's your incentive to complete each race, by the way: to be able to buy pictures with the credits you earn. Possibly the world's most boring reward system.)

I got this game in a GBA-SP bundle. I think I would have been a little disappointed if I had purchased it seperately for full price, but it was very nice as a bonus!

3-0 out of 5 stars It's ok, but not your best bet.
This game is ok. Can get kind of boring after a while. Not the greatest in racing though.I haven't played too many racing games for the GBA system so I can't really compare it that well, but I would have to say my favorite racing game of all is Top Gear 2 for the Super Nintendo.

I like just basic racing, no additional shooting or objectives (like with GTA etc) other than winning the race, and Top Gear 2 lets you win money and build up your car with better parts which makes up for only having one car to play.

This game has several different game modes (which you need to finish each for every level to reach the next and to unlock new cars). It is not very satisfying though, and you are left wanting something more. This game doesn't seem worth any more than $15 in my opinion... you would probably be better off buying one of the need for speed games instead...

This game sucks I Havent even bought this game but my cousin did and when he came over I tried it, Its THE crappiest game ever. When ever you have a fire in your city you can only put a limited amount of firefighters on the scene(about 10)and when an alien attacks your town (how stupid is that!) You can only put about 8 firefighters and cops are limited to!+ You start with about 15000 (not alot)

3-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good
Hard, and sometimes frustrating, but still kind of fun. PC versions are much better, like Sim City 4 Deluxe. This is for only select people who like this kind of game. Features aren't great and it has confusing and hard controls. The idea is good but it could be better.
By the way, SimCity 4 Deluxe is one of the best PC games ever.

2-0 out of 5 stars STICK WITH THE COMPUTER!
Ok this one was ok but it takes along time to scroll and where have the cars gone? Very tedious disasters such as the earthquake, screen shakes a little and that's it! ANd no highways or signs, and when you build things it gets this stupid "Loding" screen and what the heck where they trying to tell with the bumble bee? Also there is not much fun in it and the menu music sucks. Take a PC or Mac version of this, they are much better. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

Build your community, your religion, and your warriors, and lead them on a battle to rule planet after planet. Sit above each world--graphically accentuated by a curved landscape and small figures--and direct each of your tribe members in worship and war. Populous: The Beginning lets you control the elements and its peoples in a fight to become a god.

Your most powerful tribal member is your Shaman, able to summon swarms of insects, call down lightning bolts, and conjure up tornadoes to aid in the battle against neighboring tribes. She leads your people in a struggle for ultimate power through religious conversion and frenzied battles. She and her tribe are your pawns as they combat neighboring warriors and preachers, ultimately destroying the enemy Shaman.

To boast that this game has biblical proportions is slightly grandiose, but Populous: The Beginning definitely appeals to the control freak in all of us. With more of a mythical than biblical background of gods and goddesses, Populous: The Beginning provides interesting strategic challenges, along with visually interesting animation. For those of us ready to conquer not only the world but also other planets--and weren't satisfied with Civilization or Age of Empires--Populous: The Beginning offers another opportunity in the strategic struggle for power. --Madeleine Miller ... 5-0 out of 5 stars POTANGA...B***TCH
First of all let me begin by saying that games like these generally don't tickle my pickle. Starcraft was incredibly redundant, command and conquer overhyped, and the civilization series is slightly entertaining.

with that out of the way let me tell how this game has ruined my social life. how many nights ive spent conquering the universe for literally hours at a time. The game sucks you in and doesnt let go. Thoguh the graphics are horrible the sequence of events steamrolls that one small weakness. You build your army traing each of your people to become a warrior priest or other awsome specialties. Then you beat the living crap out of the enenmy tribe(s) with brute force and amazing spells.A comical plus is the words your followers and shaman come up with. This is well worth your seven dollars for sure.

5-0 out of 5 stars I always wanted to become a god!
I love this game -- half sim, half war games! You are the shaman of a tribe. As you progress through the game levels, you gain more and more magical powers, and learn how to train your braves to be warriors, priests and fire-walkers.Many of your powers are earth-powers giving you the ability to make lightning, tornadoes, control swarms of hornets, volcanos, deadly swamps, etc.Your other powers give you the ability to hypnotize other tribes warriors, convert wild men to your braves, and create force fields around your warriors.

There are 25 levels. On each level you struggle with one to three other tribes, each with its own shaman.Your objective is to totally destroy each other tribe, including all its citizens and buildings. As with sims, you need to build housing so your tribe can grow, training facilities to train your warriors, priests and firewalkers, and build boats and balloons to carry your warriors into battle. The more warriors you have, the faster your magic is built up.Each time you destroy an opposing shaman, you gain some of her destructive magical power.

In the last level, you are divested of your body, and can travel anywhere on the last planet to cast destruction on your enemies. But, as you progress, you discover that a god without worshipers, like a shaman without warriors, cannot win.

The graphics are out of date as this game has been around for years (it only requires a 133MHz machine), but it does not stop the game from being fun and challenging. There is a lot of cartoon violence, so the game may not be suitable for younger children.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Game Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I only have the demo but I`m getting the full version soon. I love using spells with my shaman. The game is based on a tribe having to defeat other tribes in other worlds. I love making fire warriors and regular warriors as well. I like the earthquake spell and the tornadoe. I gave tis game 5 stars and thats just the demo! ... Read more

Zoo Tycoon Expansion Pack: Marine Mania

    CD-ROM (17 October, 2002)

    Editorial Review

Good news animal lovers! Microsoft's Zoo Tycoon gets another expansion pack, this time it's all wet with Marine Mania. First it was zoo animals, then dinosaurs (the Dinosaur Digs expansion pack, which is also included in this package), and now it's marine life. Marine Mania lets you build a water park like SeaWorld, complete with dancing penguins, bottle-nosed dolphins, or your own version of Shamu the Killer Whale.

The expansion pack fits right into the existing core gameplay of Zoo Tycoon. You manage your park, listen to your customers, plan the layout, listen to your "specialists" (zoo keepers) for the right mix of exhibit size and food for your various critters, and watch everyone enjoy the park. Add an amphitheater to any pen and you've got ample seating for a show. There are 20 marine animals (from jellyfish and sperm whales to orcas and great white sharks) and some animals (dolphins, orcas, etc.) double as terrific entertainers. Once again, you can always mix animals, and of course the only violence comes from mixing carnivores with the gentler fishes. But Marine Mania is as kid friendly as ever, so the best you get is some thrashing during a great-white feeding frenzy, rather than red-tinted waters. Drop a human in the pool and they simply swim out. Darn. Keeping with the kid-friendly theme, the game also features an encyclopedia entry on each critter, which makes the gameplay almost as educational as a trip to a real water park.

The only problems are the game engine and graphics. Microsoft targeted low-end computers, which is fine, but as time goes on each expansion pack looks more and more behind the times. The animation in Marine Mania is simple and quickly becomes boring, and that's something that should never be said about a shark feeding frenzy or trick-performing dolphins. Still, the expansion pack is an absolute must for fans of the original game, particularly those who skipped Dinosaur Digs since Marine Mania generously includes that earlier expansion pack. Parents should strongly consider this series a fun learning tool as well. And naturally, fans of water parks, marine life, and the Zoo Tycoon series can't go wrong here. --Andrew S. Bub

    5-0 out of 5 stars Educational...Exciting...Everything you'd ever need!
This is great for all ages, all types of people. You don't need to be a teenage computer geek to love this game, or a child future vet to love this game.
The graphics are really good, and the animals are so real. It's more detailed than RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and 2, but it doesn't have quite as many options.
We recently went to Animal Kingdom at Disney World, and I knew all about every animal we saw on the safari: okapi, Thompson's gazelle, clouded leopard...when we were passing the okapi, I even said to my mom, "Man, those animals are high maitenance. They're never happy, and always have to live by themselves!" Of course, she was wondering WHY IN THE WORLD I would know about an animal she had never heard of until then. After passing the Thompson's gazelles I said, "Oh, I love those things. They are so easy to take care of, and I can even add other animals in there with them! They love to be with zebras, and even giraffes! They mostly just need savannah terrain, so it's pretty simple." Yet another awkward stare at my astounding knowledge.
Who would've ever guessed that it could be this educational? You can even see what different animals eat, and what their poop looks like!
Now let's talk about the shows. You can get some dolphins or killer whales, or some other animals, to come out and do a show for you! It's quite simple. You just have to conduct a show with the already-purchased toys, buy stadiums for the audience, and sit back and enjoy the show! It's really cool seeing the dolphins swimming around and performing tricks.
The Dinosaur Digs part isn't that great. I personally don't really enjoy the dinosaur part, unless I'm freeing them to kill everyone. Sometimes I block the exit so the guests won't leave, fire all of the workers so they can't stun-gun the animals, and free everyone: the lions, bears, tyrannosaurus rex's...it's so fun to see all the people running away and screaming...

I have always loved the Ocean and marine life, especially killer whales. My first sim game was Zoo Tycoon [must have to play Marine Mania]. I loved it. But it wasn't quite what I was lookig for. I wanted marine animals. This was the perfect game! It is so much fun. You can't stop playing it. You get to customize shows, create tanks, buy animals such as Killer whales, Dolphins, sea turtles, Humpback whales, and way more. Plus you get all of the animals from zoo Tycoon ,too. You do everything the way you want. You even learn a thing ot two. By Marine Mania and you'll be happy for the rest of your life. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars EVEN THE DEMO IS FIVE STAR
I downloaded the demo from microsoft and was amazed .Even though the demo gave you only four species of zoo animals ,I found myself hooked on the game and had to get the full version.Usually I play only fps games and had always found simulations ultra boring, but not so with Zoo Tycoon. It's a great game. I haven't tried the expansions and can't wait to eventually try them.I found myself playing the demo for hours.

5-0 out of 5 stars build your dream zoo!!!
This game may not have the best graphics, but the scenarios and freeform games keep you busy. In scenarios you have different objectives to aclomplise. In freeform games, you have no boundaries (except money!) to hold you back. There are a total of 44 different species to choose from!!! There are also many awards you can get. The best award you can get-which I got not once but twice!- is best zoo in the country (even though I got it twice it is still hard to get!). One tip (in case you have money problems!) is to hold the shift+4 button (a.k.a $ button) and you get $10,000!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars greatest game ever!!!!
I have the zoo tycoon complete collection--which is the best version, i think!!!! You have to select the building tool, then select a type of fence, and make your first exhibit. Bravo! Then, choose an animal. If you have the complete collection, you can choose marine animals, dinosaurs, or land animals. For dinosaurs you have to use a shock fence--if you don't want them to get out. For marine animals you need to use some sort of tank fence. And another thing. For marine animals that also go on land, you can combine the two and get a land--water exhibit. Choose an animal. Click on it, thenclick on..for dinosaurs: scientist's advice. For marine animals: marine specialist's advice. For land animals: Zookeeper's advice. Then follow the animal's red complaints first. Then follow the black ones. The red ones are the most urgent. Then try to shoo all of the complaints away by completing them. Then create another exhibit, and another and another...etc. Then create paths up to your exhibits for visitors, and buy attractions so your zoo will get more money. Zoo tycoon is REALLY fun, and you should DEFINATELY try it out! I do think that it's the greatest game ever!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, and you also have to hire zoo staff, to clean up after the animals, and to feed them, and to train them for shows--marine animals. HAVE FUN WITH THIS!!!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Game for Gameboy Ever!
I think that Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town is one of the best GB game ever! You get to raise a horse and a dog. Plus, you can own up to 8 cows, 8 chickens, and 8 sheep! You can collect eggs, wool, and milk. You can even grow crops like most farmers! You get to marry one of the five girls, Popuri, Ann, Elli, Mary, or Karen. You can even marry the Harvest Goddess if you figure out how. If you give a present to your wife every day for about a month, you will find out she is pregnant and will have a baby boy within 60 days. Over the years your child will continue to grow. And for all the girls, they are working on a Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town that will let you play as a girl and you can marry one of the five boys, it will be released in Summer 2005. I highly recommend either of the games!
