5-0 out of 5 stars 2 LIL PRINCESSES
We have had an extensive Leap Pad library in our home for almost over 2 years now-this book is very fun for the girls-it brings their imagination to a fairytale land, yet at the same time they are learning. Totally recommend for any Disney Princess lover!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars love it if ur a princess...
My 5 year old is into dressing up like a princess all the time so when I got this book for her she loved it. She gets dressed up and then sits and plays with this book. She has learned so much from it.

5-0 out of 5 stars If She is a Princess, she'll love it
Like most 4 year old girls my daughter has been swept into the world of the Disney Princess. This book was a great start to teach her how to use her new leapfrog. It was full of different songs as well as different activities and questions at the end of the book based on the stories inside. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars My Niece loved this one!
I purchased this toy as a birthday gift for my niece. The pony when her hoof is put onto the cake plays a little song. She just couldn't put it down after she got it.

It is quite durable. I purchased the toy a year ago. My niece still plays with it and counts it as one of her favorites. It also made her a My Little Pony fan.

Recommend purchase for little girls or big girls who are still little at heart.

mydaughter is 2 and got this as a gift. she loves playing with it. she plays more with the ponythan the cake for right now but i am sure as she gets older that will change.

4-0 out of 5 stars A great birthday gift for your little one ...
My daughter received this for her 4th birthday and she loves it.She loves all the My Little Pony's she sees in the stores - all the beautiful colours of their manes and tails have her completely fascinated.

She especially likes this one because of the cake that sings the "happy birthday" tune.I often hear her singing along at the birthday parties for Razzaroo ... but her Barbies and other toys also get a rousing rendition and piece of cake of their "Birthday's".

It's great fun ... my daughter loves it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Okay..
I love the idea of having music to sing-along to.I like the option of music only so we can sing along. However, some of the singers are...um...well, my daughter makes a funny face and starts laughing. The voices sound weird. She does enjoy hitting the pictures to make it talk...starts to sound like a rap...

    3-0 out of 5 stars r4wellness
This book was a disappointment. The idea is awesome, but the tunes are a little off beat-slow. We have completely enjoyed other Leap Frog books, but this book was missing zip. The pages are ripping off the spiral part. We still look forward to trying other books!

3-0 out of 5 stars Not the greatest LeapPad book
We were a bit disappointed in this book. The tunes and tempo of several of the rhymes is different than the "usual" versions that my kids are familiar with. The pages could really use to be more durable, the cord from the pen has caused several small tears and the pages rip from the spiral binding much too easily. For the price, I would suggest getting a different book...Thomas the Tank Engine & Bob the Builder were both very popular with my 4 yr old son. ... Editorial Review

Young fans of Disney’s Cinderella will love taking this princess for a ride on her pony, Charmer. Cinderella sits right up in the saddle or dismounts to attend to other princessly issues. Designed to match Cinderella’s sleek blonde locks, Charmer has a long, cascading pink mane and tail. The hair on both princess and pony can be maintained with the included pink comb. Both pieces are easy for smaller hands to hold and manipulate. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for little hands!
My 20 month old daughter loves dolls and horses, so this is a great combo in general. The great part about it is that you can put the doll "in" the horse to "ride" it.She has always tried to balance little dolls on her other horses and its been very frustrating. This toy totally meets her playtime needs.I will buy the Ariel and SeaStar, and Belle one too.

Also, if you have little girls, you know that you can't go wrong with anything princess. This toy probably wouldn't have the draw it does if they weren't the Disney gals.

When I read the reviews I worried these princesses would be to young for my 2 1/2 year old daughter but she adores them. She has 3 of them and I am going out to buy the other 2 today. They travel easy and are very durable.I have even let her take Ariel and Seastar in the bathtub and they have held up very well. She plays with these every day and even sleeps with them.I think they are prefect for her age and what a great price. Can't beat it!!If you have a little girl who loves princessesyou need to have at leastsome of these!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Correction:For 18 months & up according to the box.
I just bought this for my daughter (14 months old).According to the box, it is for children 18 months & up, not 3 & up.This is the same for all of the My First Princess dolls, with & without the horses, carriage, etc.It also applies to the Bathtime Ariel & Bedtime Cinderella, which I purchased as well.

We enjoy all of the princess dolls we bought.I feel that it's fine for her age as well. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my 18 month old
I got this doll as well as the cinderella doll with her horse and my 18 month old daughter loves them both. They are very durable. My daughter is globally delayed and since she loves them at 18 months (which is comparable to most little girls at 12 months) I feel that the manufacturer's age is appropriate. She is just starting to be drawn to "girly" toys that are not the standard "baby" toys and I think the Disney Princess collection suits this desire perfectly.

5-0 out of 5 stars My daughter loves it!
I bought this for my daughter when she was 18 months old. She loves to play with it!She combs the horse's hair and loves for the princess to ride the horse.I think the manufacturer's suggested age is correct- disregard Amazon's suggested age.

This pretty blond princess doll comes with everything your child will need to play princess slumber party. She's dressed in a pretty lavender dress, and has matching pajamas on underneath. Before bed she can have ice cream for two with her pet squirrel, who has a very soft fluffy tail. Then it's off to get her hair brushed, with her matching lavender brush. She's got a cozy pillow and blanket set to cuddle up with (the blanket even has a pocket for her squirrelly pal). I got this doll for Christmas one year and I had fun with it for a long time!Although her hair is hard to keep in shape she is pretty fun!The idea of the pajamas and dress going together is really handy! The bed for it is also a cute accesorie!I enjoyed this doll alot!

5-0 out of 5 stars Our daughter LOVES these Toddler Princess dolls!
Our daughter has several of these dolls (Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, and Aurora here!) and has all the others we've seen (Snow White, and the new color-changing versions of Jasmine and Pocahontas)on her birthday list. She absolutely loves them. They are very cute, and very sturdy. Now my daughter is older, (she's six, nearly 7) so she is probably well beyond the time of playing too rough with her toys, but I think even smaller kids wouldn't have trouble with the durability of these dolls.

The only frustration my daughter and I have had is with the shoes on these dolls. They are very pretty, but the ribbon is very thin, and pretty hard to "tie up".A girlfriend had bought one of these for her little girl, and had the exact same complaint-so be prepared, and have your patience ready as well!

We spent a bit less elsewhere on these princesses than what this store sells them for, so you may want to do some shopping around, if you'd like to save a few dollars, but from what I've seen, they do go fast-so don't wait TOO long!

5-0 out of 5 stars Lil princesses for my Princess
My daughter has the set of all the lil Disney Princess Dolls. She takes them every where! It is so nice that manufacturs finally did "toddler" dolls that do not look to young or too old. My daughter is just turing 4 and like all wants to play house but not with her baby dolls all the time. She likes to have little girls and play like she and I do.We have avoided 11 1/2 dolls thus far.My husband and I figure why push her to grow up.So thanks to Playmates!Just an FYI Playmates are releasing clothes for the Lil Princess Dolls and they are priced great and are very cute. ... Belle, the beauty who won the heart of the Beast in the classic Disney animated film, looks ready for the ball in her flowing yellow satiny gown and matching shoes. She's joined by a little blue bird who, in a neat bit of design work, can fit right in her hand. Kids can have fun brushing Belle's long brown hair with the included brush or conducting a tea party with the included teapot and cups. Belle is made of hard plastic so while she is durable, she's better suited for daytime play than snuggling up with at night. --John Moe ... Read more

My daughters both love this doll. They want Santa to bring another one.Unfortunately, my problem is with her hair. Her hair became matted with only a few hours of play.If we try to use the comb that came with it then the hair comes out.I would be sure Santa brought another one if the hair were different.

A delightful undersea world unfolds in Pixar's animated adventure Finding Nemo. When his son Nemo is captured by a scuba-diver, a nervous-nellie clownfish named Marlin (voiced by Albert Brooks) sets off into the vast--and astonishingly detailed--ocean to find him. Along the way he hooks up with a scatterbrained blue tang fish named Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), who's both helpful and a hindrance, sometimes at the same time. Faced with sharks, deep-sea anglers, fields of poisonous jellyfish, sea turtles, pelicans, and much more, Marlin rises above his neuroses in this wonderfully funny and nonstop thrill ride--rarely does more than 10minutes pass without a sequence destined to become a theme park attraction. Pixar continues its run of impeccable artistic and economic success (their movies include Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, and Monsters, Inc). Also featuring the voices of Willem Dafoe, Geoffrey Rush, and Allison Janney. --Bret Fetzer ... Read more

This is a great animated movie. It looks amazing in HD!

    5-0 out of 5 stars good.very good.
It's about one parent's quest to find his child against all (well most) odds.Well, the father gets a lot of help from all sorts of animals. And there's a lot of luck involved.

The nice thing is that Nemo is a fish with a disability, and it's always nice to have characters whose lives are not perfect that nevertheless can find happiness and love.

I like the idealism, and the portrayal of success of characters whoare not perfect.I think the coincidences and luck are outrageous, but during the movie my suspension of disbelief managed to stay intact.

I think it's a lot healthier than a lot of other stuff that threaten to stick themselves in childrens' heads. ... Read more

    Reader Rabbit Kindergarten Version 1.1
Average Customer Review: 3.5 out of 5 stars
    CD-ROM (07 June, 2004)
    list price: $9.99
US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France

    Editorial Review

Reader Rabbit Kindergarten 2002 packs an astonishing number of activities into a two-CD-ROM set, enough to keep nearly any child in the 4 to 6 age range glued to the computer for hours. With glitzy graphics and plenty of songs to sing along with, not to mention a clever plot, this high-quality educational program helps kids practice a range of skills, from counting, reading, and listening comprehension, to recognizing colors and shapes.

The adventure begins when Reader Rabbit and Sam the Lion are stranded in Balloon Town and must rescue the Dreamship, which has been encased in bubble wrap and locked in the Pointy Palace. In order to wake up the sleeping bull that guards the palace, the player must locate five musical instruments. Each time the player completes an activity, an instrument magically appears. For a program aimed at kindergartners, the instruments take a lot of persistence to earn--kids must complete a staggering number of problems at each activity site and this can quickly become very repetitive.

The program itself is well thought out and comes with many user-friendly features. The software automatically adjusts to your level and shows how you're doing at each activity. It's also possible to save games for up to 99 different players, which makes the software suitable for use in a classroom or other group setting.

The CD-ROM set includes three other activities--calendar making, painting, and music playing, all of which are engaging in their own right. It also comes with a collection of more than 100 age-appropriate activities that don't have to do with the computer, as well as Reader Rabbit songs that can be played on an audio CD player.

As with other Reader Rabbit software, the biggest concern with this program is that there are so many things to do, children may eventually have to be dragged away, kicking and screaming, from the computer. Perhaps a laptop is the answer--at least that way they can play outside. --Molly Masland ... Read more

It is quite a stretch to call this 'pre-school'.My 4 year old quickly became bored with it, and the math sequence is interminable and goes on for what seems like forever.
My 2 1/2 year old took to the challenges more readily, learning mouse skills, colors and shapes, and some basic words. This doesn't attempt to teach reading or the alphabet.
The whole story about 'Pirats' (sic) - space faring rats - is rather fun, and my kids really enjoyed the songs

If your kids are still in that charming, syrupy-sweet phase of toddlerhood, maybe frequent visits to Ponyville will keep them there a bit longer. The place would give Norman Rockwell's paintings a run for their money--especially "Cotton Candy" Pony's rose-covered café. Ponies can host tea parties, have ice cream, eat cotton candy, and get unlimited refills of cake. Other sweet accessories include "café food," a tea service, trays and tableware, tables, a balcony, working cash register, slices of cake, and an oven. I have found out by purchasing the CCC, MLP Castle, the dance studio, and the Salon that none of them are durable...they do get played with but they fall apart ALL the time. I recommend purchasing the ponies. They are very inexpensive and very cute...we have nearly all of them. I have purchased them honestly to get the pony that comes with it for my daughter's collection...anyone who has posted a review saying these items are durable must have them sitting on a shelf or something.I suggest purchasing the big 3 story Barbie play and store dollhouse, it is GREAT...my daughter plays with MLP's instead of Barbie dolls in it...she is 5 years old...

I gave my wife a subscription to this magazine as a subtle hint that she had a little too much junk in the trunk, and could stand to lose a few pounds. But when we received the magazine, we both loved reading about the animals! It's great! My only complaint is that my wife never got the hint, and now her backyard is bigger than ever.

This is a great magazine for preschool/early elementary kids.We have renewed it twice and enjoy watching our son learn more with each issue. The editors do a great job of publishing intersting and unique facts about many different kids of animals.

I ordered a subscription for my step-son and a gift for a niece at the same time. They took my money and both of the ONE-YEAR subscriptions I paid for only resulted in ONE ISSUE to each child.I couldn't get any more information on the magazine, as we never received any more informaiton until I got an e-mail from Amazon asking me to renew.

I noticed another recent post with the same problem. The magazine was really great, and my step-son and niece both waited and waited for their next issue which never showed.

I love carousels and I love Hello Kitty, so I was thrilled when I saw this toy!I think it's a little expensive, but it sure is worth it!The carousel is designed beautifully and is truly wonderful to look at.It's very colorful. The 2 Hello Kitty figures that come with it are very cute. The carousel requires 3 AA batteries which are not included. When you turn the carousel on, the baskets rotate around and they also spin around individually. It also plays music when it's on.All in all, this is one of the most delightful toys I've ever seen! ... You and your children will enjoy this presentation. The story is told in a simple, child friendly, and creative manner.I had a great time expanding on the topics introduced in the film.Character, trust, faith, prejudice, and many other topics can be expanded on during and following the presentation.A absolute treasure!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Beautiful Veggie Tale!!!
This story is so well written and directed, that it brought tears to my eyes.It is a sensitive piece, and much different from the other Veggie Tales, and it follows the classic story of Esther and her uncle Mordecai, as well as the villain Haman, and it closely follows the Biblical account, albeit Haman doesn't get the hangman's noose, but is banished to the Land of Perpetual Laughter.

It has its moments of hilarity and song, too, like some other Veggie Tales, and it's well worth the price!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome, Amazing, Entertaining, and More

      Editorial Review

Why do bad things happen to good cucumbers? The Ballad of Little Joe takes an Old Testament look at the question of suffering and injustice via this cowboy-inflected VeggieTales take on the story of Joseph, the youngest son of Jacob sold into slavery by his jealous brothers. Typically, the VeggieTales version of the familiar tale is sweetened and abridged to a fault--why do VeggieTales creators insist that young children confront complex Bible passages until they're actually ready for them?. But in Joseph's case the issue of forgiveness is certainly accessible to little ones, even if the larger idea of accepting one's destiny as "God's plan" gets muddled in Little Joe's salad-bar nonsense. Featuring familiar VeggieTales characters Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber, and a baffling song interlude by Boyz in the Sink called "Belly Button." --Tom Keogh ... Read more

I saw this video while I was staying at the home of some Christian friends. Like all veggie tales stories they give a Christian message to children in a fun and non-over bearing fashion. Like all of the other veggietales videos they feature computer animated vegetables as actors.

The ballad of little joe tells the story of Joseph the youngest son of Jacob/Israel. It set as a modern western. The story takes place in Dodgeball City where the patrons contantly have to look out for randomly flying dogeballs.

As I mentioned before the story follows the Genisis account of Joseph as modern western. I like the one line where Little Joe is kidnapped by a band of desperados and he says "deperados you better come to your senses!". This was a reference to the Eagles classic "Desperado."

The belly button song is a classic.

5-0 out of 5 stars ha! this is funny!

This is definitely our favorite veggie tales - and we ALL sing the belly button song. Definitely worth the money and a good intro for new veggie fans (play the DVD with subtitles for new viewers so they can catch all the hilarious lines). ... Read more
