I Have three of the madaline and friends dolls and I love them!!! perfect alternate to Bratz.(After all there BRATS!!). If you need a good preasant for your doll loving girl get her madaline. Period.

A Great Toy
I really like the Madeline 8" doll because there are a lot of great clothes and acessories that you can buy for her. It's a great alternative to super-skinny big-bust Barbie dolls, especially for Madeline fans. I would recommend buying one or two of Madeline's 8" friends to make playing even more fun.

I have had this stroller since I was 5 it survived 5 years you should really get I never had haunch over it just plain get it its great really great.

Broke within 2 months
I would have to agree with the previous reviewer that said the stroller is not very sturdy.The same thing happened to my 2 year olds stroller.Within 2 months the back had broken out and it is stuck in the fully reclined position.It is very frustrating to my daughter who rarely plays with it now because the dolls keep falling out.Otherwise it was a great toy.

Nice stroller for a 2 yr old
My Mother in law purchased this stroller for my daughter for Christmas, she loves it! The only problem as others have stated, it is small, fine for her, but, the one wheel was broken, thank goodness my husband is handy, he had to figure something out to keep it on, it kept falling off and my daughter got frustrated.
I might mention that I purchased one of these back in 2002
for my niece and it was made much larger than my daughters was, my niece still plays with hers, but, her's looks sturdier and larger, more than one doll can fit in it. I was a little dissapointed when I saw my daughters that it was so much smaller, but, for a younger child, it is fine, she is only 18 months old and just adores it. I imagine I will have to look for a larger, sturdier one when she gets older.
Overall for a child of her age, I am happy with it, they just have to work out the flaws with the wheels.

Baby Cakes 19" Caitlyn Doll
Baby Cakes 19" Caitlyn Doll is one of the most unique, and finely crafted dolls I have ever seen. I loved her facial expression, I knew she would be a perfect gift for my doll loving six year old, Melissa. Just as I expected, she was thrilled with Caitlyn, and loved this baby more than any of her other birthday presents. I'm definitely going to purchase some accecories for Caitlyn, and maybe another Baby Cakes.. or two.

SOsweet and her clothes can make for FIVE different outfits!
This baby is so sweet and life like.She has such a sweet face and she is weighted to feel more like a real baby.I thought she would be the same as the Chou Chou doll that comes with a pacifier, but her head has three or four differences.Most important to me is that she has brown eyes.The Chou Chou dolls have blue eyes.My daughter has brown eyes and I really wanted a doll more like her.The clothes on this doll are so cute.She has a full shirt beneath the little pink print pinafore, so your child already starts off with two outfits. Or three if she doesn't mind her cloth leg showing as the pinafore and shirt can be a little jumper and if your child doesn't mind the cloth arm showing, she can take off the blue checked shirt and just wear the pinafore as a dress.And now that I think, the doll can wear just the pinafore as a shirt with the pants as a fifth outfit.She is also wearing a disposable diaper.She comes with a toy lamb that is a rattle and a pink pacifier.She also has more clothes made for her (the Baby Cakes line) out there and other Baby Cakes accessories. she can fit baby clothes sized 0-3 months.I gave her five stars for educational value as she can promote nurturing skills. ... Cute, but doesn't hold interest
My daughter received this for Christmas when she was 2.5 years old.Since she loved puzzles and had recently mastered her alphabet, I thought this was the perfect gift.For some reason, however, this puzzle never held her interest.She has now had it for almost 2 years and in all that time I don't think she has once played with it on her own.When I suggest it, she may play with it for a short time, but then she moves on to something else.I generally love the Melissa and Doug products, but I would suggest purchasing a different item.

Uh, boooring.
I have 3 kids under 5.We've had this toy for 4 years, and they don't even bat an eye at it.We've tried everything to draw attention to this item, but it is either too advanced for even an alphabet-loving 5-year old, or it is boring.I thought it was fun, but my kids don't agree.

GREAT IDEA!
I loved this puzzle the minute I went on to this site and found it. It is high in teaching kids dexterity, hand-eye coordination, working with phonics, matching pictures to their background, and learning the alphabet. I love it because there are no pieces to get lost. It will be enough to challenge my 3 year old and as she grows with it; it will be enjoyable to do it. She loves puzzles but I was never able to bring them into the car because the pieces are never attached. This one is different and will definitely be going on vacations, grandma's, and to the doctor's office. I also like the fact that it is 2 different puzzles. They can flip to the other side and they still have to figure the puzzle out. This puzzle is a class act all the way. Makes a great gift! ... Read more

Great toy for children who love to dress up
and do their hair and all that good stuff...I have mine put together already assembled waiting to give it to them this Christmas because they both love dressing up and doing their hair and all that other girly stuff...Pretty cute but also kind of plain looking yet still fun...I agree the toy is very loud...the lights actually light up..I gave four stars for durability because it is pretty hard for me let alone young children to get the nail polish bottles out without actually just pulling the cap of the nailpolish bottle off and then you can't hear the phrase it has to go with it...Ours is a very tight fit and has to fit in perfectly...That is the only thing I think there will be aggravation with my children with this toy...The other pieces however fit into their places quite well and are easy to remove...It has very cute phrases and reminds them to clean up and put the items away when they are finished...Overall it is a cute item and I recommend it to anyone who has a child that loves to dress up and likes to play with makeup and all that girly stuff ... not worth it...
There is little imagination stimulated with this toy. My kids 3 and 1 played with it for about 10 minutes. The whole thing revolves around pressing a button to hear the map say phrases. The map itself is rather small so the kids really don't have room to play with it together.

Great toy....but....
My 2 1/2 year old loves Dora, so for Christmas everything was Dora...she really wanted the backpack.She received this playset as a gift.We were all VERY disappionted to find out the backpack really isn't a backpack!There are no straps on the backpack, there was a note inside the package saying that for safety reasons there were no straps, probably for the age group intended, however the box it came in says nothing of the sort and you would not know this until you opened the package.My daughter was very disappointed she couldn't wear her "pack pack" as she calls it.Maybe they should label the box better or call it a "pouch" instead!

Cute, but Dora is top heavy!
This is a cute playset overall, but I wish that they had made the figures a bit better.They are made of hard plastic and durable, but they don't stand up on their own.Dora is especially unstable (probably because of that big hair!)

They make it sound like this is educational, but really it's not especially engaging.There are a few different places on the map where she can go and when you press the button on the map, the map will ask you to take them to one of them, but there is really no interaction or checking of where you take the figure, you really are all on your own and the map's talk is more of a prompt of "suggested" activity.

The best part of this is that it includes the favorites...Dora, Boots, Swiper, the boat, and a map.I was hoping that my daughter would make up her own adventures with these figures and the map, but really she hasn't used it that way.When she plays with it, she presses the map button to hear it talk and sing, but she doesn't do what it suggests.She likes having the little characters though to play with, so overall, I don't regret my purchase.

I do feel though that toy manufactures are out to milk us these days.I mean, why can't they make a set of the primary figures that stand up and don't cost [$]???I don't really need the whole battery operated part, but they make it so you have to buy a toy like this to get what you want. ... Vivimos en Argentina, y hasta aqui no llegan todos los juguetes de esta linea, pero cuando decidimos comprarle el primer triciclo a nuestra hija de 2 años, elegimos este modelo a pesar del precio, y este año, cuando cumplio 7 tuvimos que guardarlo en el atico para que no lo siga usando porque ya su peso sobrepasaba el indicado como maximo en las instrucciones, fue el dinero mejor invertido en juguetes. Too Hard To Steer
My daughter received this as a gift for her 2nd birthday.It is much too difficult/tight to steer.She is now going to be 4 and this past spring I bought her the Barbie Bike with training wheels and she zips around on this bike. Meanwhile this little bike she can't even ride.Your better off getting a real bicycle/tricycle.

Worth the Money
We bought this bike for our two daughters and they have gotten so much use out of it.Our oldest was 2 when we bought it but she was almost 3 before she really started to ride it well.Now she is 5 so this bike has lasted for 2 years with 2 daughters riding it alot.Unfortunately the front wheel is now wearing out but we really can't complain for this price ... We bought this for our one year old for Christmas
My son loves to vacuum with me so we though that it would be fun to get him his own vaccuum. We got this one and he loved it right away. Although the sound effect got annoying really fast, he played with it for about 3 weeks before he was bored with it.After that he took the accesories and ran around the house hitting things with them. I trashed it by May. It was so beat up and in pieces and my furniture and walls were beat up.

FANTASTIC
My 15M baby was so afraid of our vacuum cleaner that I had not used the vacuum for a long time. Then I bought the Hoover Vacuum and was surprised by how cute it was and it really works as a vaccum cleaner. Now my son loves to vacuum with me (using his)this is a fantastic toy! The attachments come out,(the clear plastic door comes off easy too.. does not break) the card board air filter comes offwith a little door, the door to the vaccum bag (cloth filter) comes off and it really collects dust. I clean the little bag with my vaccum.

My kids love this toy

Great Toy for Your Budding Picasso
Tired of stepping on broken crayons with ripped wrappers or dried out markers with missing tops?I was.So I thought the Magna Doodle was the answer...until its magnetic stamps began to disappear.Along with the attached drawing tool, the large erasable board with easy grip handle comes with flower, puppy, circle, person, car, and star stamps that must be assembled.The sliding eraser is a nifty feature, except one stubborn spot in the middle and a streak at the top that won't go away.The best application for this toy?Doodling during road trips.

My daughter loves this chair!
We got this chair for our daughter's 1st birthday.She has loved it from day one. She sits in the chair every day.It's comfortable and sturdy.It's her special seat in the living room.

We did have to temporarily remove the rockers because she tried to stand in the chair.But now that's she's older we may put them back on.The only other issue is that it may need to be reupholstered eventually.Ours gets used and cleaned a lot.

Overall it's great!

I bought this chair for my daughter who was 15 Months.She wanted so badly to crawl into chairs but couldn't.This is perfect for her.She love to crawl into it and rock.There is a wooden stopper on the back so that the chair is difficult to turn over if playing rough.This makes it somewhat difficult to rock like normal rocking chairs, but it's much safer to rock on their own with this chair!Chair is super cushy, adorable design and is easy to carry into the different rooms.My daughter who is now 19 months and still loving this chair, loves to carry a bowl of snacks and sit in her chair and watch cartoons.It's amazing!The color and print looks better in person!Very well made quality!Highly Recommended Chair for the little ones who are growing up so fast!

Best seat in the house!
We bought this chair for my 15 month old daughter as a gift from her new baby sister.That was 16 months and alot of alternative uses ago.It's held up to anything my girls can throw at it, literally.My eldest has cozied up in this chair from day one to watch movies, eat a snack or just relax. As soon as her little sister could crawl, she would climb in it as well.It has a lip on the bottom in back that helps prevent it from tipping over, although that hasn't stopped my girls.Although, realistically, if it was used solely as intended, it would likely be sufficient.However, my girls have used it as an assist in tumbling, a trampoline, a step stool and all around versitile toy.Nevertheless, it has come through all of their punishments just fine.It sits low to the ground so when they have fallen off in their ventures, there's been nothing more than minor hurt feelings and maybe a small bruise.It's also roomy enough that my girls sat in it together until they were 29 and 13 months.Now, we're looking for another so they'll quit fighting over the one.I'd consider this a best buy! ... My 3 year olds 1st real dollhouse
I bought this doll house for my four year old last year. She just loves it and it has horses too. She plays with her loving family all of the time. This is a great basic dollhouse that folds up easily for storage.

Best Toy I've Bought Yet
This is the first time I've gotten such good use out of a toy that I felt compelled to tell others about it.I bought this two years ago when my two girls were age 2 1/2 and 8 months.It was a great gift because I could put the accessories on my childrens' wish lists for the rest of the family to buy for Christmas, birthdays, etc.

My girls play with the dollhouse and/or the people almost every day!It's their favorite toy.It's made a great travel toy to take in the car, to church, camping, etc.as we can take just a few people/pieces on the road.It has been very interesting to see how my girls act out our family.It's excellent pretend play.Be sure to get the grandparents too.

My main suggestion is to buy extra sets of people.Fisher-Price changes the appearance of the people every few years and now I'm shopping for replacements on eBay.Also, they tend to get lost and they really are the most important part of the set.If you have more than one child, you'll want extra sets of people to avoid the fights anyway.

The stable tends to disconnect and the swing does fall off easily, but the fun my girls have had with this toy greatly offsets those tiny problems.

We love our Sweet Magic Kitchen!
My daughter loves her kitchen. We got it for her this last Christmas just a couple months after her having turned 2. I decided to get it when I saw it on sale at KMart for $35 compared to the $90 I could get it for at my local ToysRUs. My husband put it together and says it wasn't too bad to put together. There were a few things he didn't like, but it still went together and is sturdy.My daughter is still a little short for it, but she has so much fun. It's light and easy to move, so I can move it into the kitchen and she can cook with me - which she loves! She has stood and sat on the over door numerous times without any breaks at all. It doesn't stay closed very easily, but she doesn't care and she's figured out the knack for keeping it closed. The only time the ice tray leaks as the ice is melting is when I over-fill it. My solution is to fill it about 2/3 full and let it sit on the counter on a towel for 10 minutes or so to make sure any excess water drips out before being frozen to the inside of the tube areas which is where I also found leaks coming from. We use rechargable batteries and have had no problems what so ever with the batteries or music.

Over all, this is a great kitchen and I love the price I found on it. I probably would not have paid the full price for it because I hardly ever pay full price for anything. My friends kids love it as well. Our Sweet Magic Kitchen is a huge hit and I'm very glad we bought it.

Favorite toy in our household
Haven't had any of the problems described in the other reviews. Specifically the oven door stays shut, music still plays, and accessories and kitchen look great. If you children are into baking sweet things, haven't seen a cuter small kitchen out there.

Better than I expected!
I'd been looking for a kitchen for my two year old, and found this one on clearance for $35 (kmart). It's a little cuter (read: pinker) than what I wanted, but at that price I didn't really care. The ones we were looking at were in the $100+ price range.
Before we put it together, I checked out the reviews here, and almost took it back to the store without even opening it. We decided to give it a try, though, and put it together anyway. It went together pretty quickly, and my daughter has been playing with it for about a month now without anything breaking. Actually, the reason I thought about writing this review is because I just looked over and saw her standing on the oven door, and it didn't break (Which I completely expected it to do the first time she did that.) My daughter never saw any commercials for it, so she doesn't know about the color change feature, and after reading the reviews about the water dripping as it melted, I wasn't in any hurry to try it out. It's fun without that, though. She likes to "cook" her cookies, then use the pot holder to take them out and put them in the fridge to cool off (like we do with her food when it's too hot!)
I probably wouldn't be as happy with this kitchen if I'd paid full price for it, but at $35 I think it was a good deal. ... Read more

Barbie helmet set
Very cool because it's Barbie and lets my daughter know that I belive it's important to wear a helment for her safety.

Glasses too small even for a 3 year old.
The product description says this is for a four or five year old.
The helmet fit fine, but the glasses were too small for my three year old.

My little girl is four and she loved this book...a favorite!!!

Perfect for my ballerina wannabe
This book is a perfect buy for any parent who wants to show their little girl what ballet lessons would be like; without actually viewing a class. Using actual photos, it shows little girls preparing for ballet class (barre excersizes and plies in the kitchen, hair prep., tooth brushing) it shows an actual class at the barre, making friends, streaching. Then it shows the girls getting their tutus out for a ballet recital. Make-up, hair and head pieces, along with pre-show jitters. Some shots of a recital and the after shots with proud parents and flowers. A perfect way to show your future ballerina what ballet classes are all about.
