5-0 out of 5 stars Haters of bratz suck! This toy Rules!!
This toy ROCKS!! Who in the right mind wouln't like bratz! I meen, come on!! I'm 11 years old, and I bet when I'm 20 I would still love bratz! I got this toy for Christmas and I play with Fianna everyday!!!!!! I've got to admit, they do wear inapropriate clothes sometimes, but I would never dress like that! I'm not insulting bratz or anything, it's just I recomend this toy for older kids! I've got tons of dolls, and I want more! Asspeccially, the bratz babyz. I really want Cloe and her cute little piggy! I've got Cloe, Sasha, Jade, Fianna, Meygan, and Yasmin. Well, anyway, that's not my point, my point is bratz rule!! And, no, they do NOT wear thongs, I REPEAT!!! THEY DO NOT WEAR THONGS!! I know, I have 6 dolls! Would I lie??! BUY THIS TOY!!!!! And the people who love bratz, too, you guys.....ROCK!!!!! I'm am sooooooo on your side!! BUY THIS TOY, IT IS THE BEST TOY IN THE WHOLE, WIDE STINKIN` TOY!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Okay pplz
Everybody, plz listen!!!!!! This doll ROCKS! My friend got her for her birthday and she is so cool! My advice to you is to keep her out in a place where everyone can see her! Oh BTW the leggings are NOT attached to the skirt.

5-0 out of 5 stars Bratz Mysteries Solved!
Ok all you Bratz-haters out there, I'm going to answer most of your questions about Bratz and why people love them...

Q: Why do they have big heads and big feet?
A: According to the creators, they wanted to make their own version of Barbie. But they "switched the proportions" (Ex: Barbie has a small head, small feet, large breasts, and a large butt. Bratz are the exact opposite of Barbie.) because they felt that Barbie's body was too inappropriate for little girls.

Q: Why do they have sockets for "feet"?
A: Well, you can twist their feet/shoes to make them do Ballet positions and because you can't lose their shoes as easily as Barbie. Another thing, remember, they "switched the proportions".

Q: Did they sopy of of Diva Starz?
A: Not at all. In 2000, Poochies and other electronic toys were all the rage. And sice Diva Starz talk, move their heads, blink, and have a button on their heads, it was REQUIRED to give them big heads. As for the feet, when they ask you a question they have a "y" (yes) and "n" (no) to press on their feet and they have a special sensor so they could recognize other DS dolls. They also have a hidden "microphone" so they "know" you are talking to them.

Bratz are fashion dolls. They don't do ANY of the things Diva Starz do.

Q: Why do they look like skanks?!
A: Oh gosh, this question is so ANNOYING. THEY ARE COPYING WHAT REAL TEENS WEAR! A LOT OF TEENS HAVE BEEN DRESSING LIKE THAT BEFORE BRATZ CAME OUT! There was a Barbie doll that recently came out wearing a Chinese-style dress with COWBOY BOOTS! I don't see any teenage girl wearing that. And the My Scene Masquerade Madison doll looked like she pulled out random kitty-themed outfits from her closet.

Q: Why are the Flashback Fever Bratz costumes in the size of a little girl? It's inappropriate!
A: I also thought the costume shouldn't be marketed to little girls. But, we missed an important word: COSTUME. When you are dressing up for a play, Halloween, or just playing dress up, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE SOMETHING YOU'RE NOT! For example, many girls in Japan are conservative, but when they are dressing up as their favorite Anime/video game character, the costumes are usually skimpy, skin-tight, or both. And instead of bashing MGA for selling that costume, BASH COMPANIES THAT MAKE CATWOMAN AND COCONUT BIKINI TOPS FOR 4 YEAR OLDS!!!!

Q: What is so appealing about Bratz?
A: 1.) They dress like TEENS today.
2.) They have almost Anime-like eyes.
3.) The dolls, including Bratz Treasures and Pretty in Punk London, wear LESS eyeshadow than some of the My Scene dolls. If you don't belive me, start comparing the dolls at a store.
4.) They don't have huge breasts, huge bottoms, or a VERY skinny waist like Barbie.
5.) They have a "normal" expression on their faces, and don't smile all the time like Barbie.
6.) Bratz keep you busy 'til you're in college. Barbies only last for a few years. SIDE NOTE: My friend was a HUGE My Scene fan, but she played with them for about 1 YEAR. I got my first Bratz doll 3 years ago, and I STILL play with her (I wish I had more dolls to make it even more fun.).
    7.) More ethnic diversity:
    Yasmine- Hispanic
    Cloe, Dana, Meygan- Caucasian
Jade- Asian (possibly from the Phillipines)
    Sasha- African-American
    Nevra- unknown (possibly Native-American)
    Fianna- unknown
    Kumi, May-Lin, Tiana- Japanese
8.) Exotic names. The only exotic name from Mattel I can think of is Nolee, Delancey, Jai, Lenara, and Lea. Other than that, Mattel has VERY boring taste in names...
9.) Yes, many people think Bratz wear revealing clothes, but THEY WEAR UNDERWEAR UNDER SKIRTS!!! Barbie just has painted underwear, or printed the polka dots with lace on her "areas". Well guess what, YOU CAN STILL SEE HER "FRONT" AND BOTTOM!

Q: Why don't they have jobs or hobbies?
A: They DO have a hobby other than shopping. They recently came out with a sports collection, which they play golf, soccer, volleyball, or cheerlead. And from what I see, the Tiana doll that came with the Dance 'n' Skate Club playset, is a DJ. Is it me or does anyone notice that Barbie hasn't come out with any sports stuff in a while, I only see her surfing these days...

Q: Someone said Bratz come with thongs, is that true?
A: NO! NO! NO TIMES 1,000,000,000!!! IT IS IMPOSSSIBLE FOR ANY DOLL TO WEAR A THONG! THAT PERSON IS LIAR AND A BIG TIME BRATZ BASHER.

I hope this answers all your questions... ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars The second star for Bratz!
Bratz Tokyo A-Go-Go Cloe is the second Bratz doll I got and I it got a star (instead of a strike) in my book. I also have Tokyo A-Go-Go Yasmin and I noticed they come with a lot of the same accessories. The same cell phone, same suitcase, and similar bag. The problem with the suitcase is that you can't fit all her accessories inside! (Which defeats the whole purpose of a suitcase) You can put quite a few Lil' Bratz accessories inside, though. Overall, I say BUY THIS DOLL!

5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE CLOE!!

I love how Cloe dyed her hair for the trip to Tokyo- She looks amazing! Some places Bratz will visit in 2005 are London and Las Vegas. Cloe looks like a goth when they go to London. But she looks great here. So buy this totally awsome doll. Ur kids will love it! Thanks. ... Read more

I buy the bratz dolls for collection. The thing I like the most about this doll is it appropriate as to what you would see in tokyo. I spent three years over there. It suprised me how well the doll researched but like with all bratz dolls has small pieces. If a young child want a doll this would be one I would recommend do to the fact it is more appropriatlly dressed for children that most bratz.

Fur Real Friends Luv Cubs - Panda Bear

    Toy
    list price: $29.99
US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France

    Editorial Review

This electronic and interactive Panda Bear cub really is adorable. Covered in soft fur and measuring just over 12-inches tall in the seated position, the fun-loving bruin makes a number of different sounds depending on how you play with him. He will make slurping noises when you place the included bottle in his mouth, and start to coo and slow down when you give him a hug. And if that wasn't enough, you can even make the cub giggle by tickling him in the right place. Each bear comes with its own special adoption certificate and a plastic feeding bottle. Requires 3 "C" batteries (not included), along with a Phillips head screwdriver to install or change the batteries. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Hard to Steer
My 4 year old daughter (who is very tall for her age) got this bike for Christmas. It's an awesome looking bike and a highly durable one, but she can't maneuver it like a "normal" 12 inch bike.I think the long front end and the fat tires make it hard to balance and prevent normal turning.I am worried enough about her not being able to make the turn on the corner of our neighborhood sidewalk that we're buying another bike.I hate to do it because I love the way this one looks, but I want her to enjoy biking and not get frustrated with having to muscle it around.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool bike, but too small
I love this bike. My son received this as a Christmas gift and this spring, like the reviewer below said, it's too small and his knee's also hit the handle bars. My son is tall for his age. He will be 3 in June and is just about 40 inches tall.Loved the bike, but I agree that the age range should be adjusted. There is no way that the average sized 4-6 year old will be able to ride this size bike for an extended period of time. It's a great bike though. Well made, looks great, easy to ride.We are so happy with the bike, we will be buying the 16 inch.

5-0 out of 5 stars great bike for 2 year olds
i bike for my 2 year old and she loves it . the bike was made great and i would recommend this bike to any one very cute style and very durable although it is a bit small for her but she is very tall for a 2 year old so thenwhen she out grows it we'll have to buy the 16 inch.

    1:6 R/C Cadillac Escalade: Black (27 MHz)
    by New Bright Industries
Average Customer Review: 4.5 out of 5 stars
    Toy

US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France

    Editorial Review

Walking the fine line, or rather driving over the fine line, between sport utility vehicle and luxury car, the Cadillac Escalade is the car of choice for folks who want a lot of automobile without really sweating such issues as gas mileage and environmental impact. This 1/6th scale model Escalade features a variety of features likely to endear the rig to fans of custom cars, including a nicely stenciled flame pattern, spinning rims, and a cargo cover. Using the remote control, the Escalade operates at three different speeds and at a range of up to 100 feet. It comes with a 9.6-volt battery and charger and the battery will need charging right out of the box. We were impressed by the responsiveness of the Escalade and had no trouble moving it nimbly in forward, reverse, left, or right. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

    Star Wars Millennium Falcon Spaceship
    by Hasbro
Average Customer Review: 3.0 out of 5 stars
    Toy (10 August, 2004)

US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France

    Editorial Review

Sure, the Millennium Falcon might not look all that impressive compared to the sleeker spacecraft favored by Darth Vader and other Empire hotshots but still, according to owner/pilot Han Solo it "made the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs'", which is certainly nothing to sneeze at. This toy version of the most famous of all Star Wars ships is nicely appointed and likely to impress diehard Star Wars fans as well as youngsters new to the classic film series. It features a rotating blaster on the top, a cockpit big enough for two small Star Wars figures (though none are included), retractable landing gear, a secret compartment for figures to hide (perfect for that Trojan Horse operation on the Death Star), and one spring-loaded missile. A variety of sound effects are offered, including options for engine start-up and hyperspace. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars its a great toy!
this is a very cool toy, it has a opening cockpit and back.plus a secret floor board for them to hide in!overall it has lights and sounds!

5-0 out of 5 stars Greatest Falcon ever... but be wary of the box pictures!
As other reviewers have stated, the "Original Trilogy Collection" (OTC) Millennium Falcon has several improvements over the old "Power of the Force" (POTF) version of 1995.

Some of the improvements that I think have not been addressed on past reviews:

MOLD: This toy is BASED on the old mold of the POTF line. Thus, so it still is out of scale and disproportionately "fat". I have come to accept this, because if it were to scale, it would measure easily 1.5 meters in lenght!
Although based on the old mold, this toy has a couple of improvements, including the use of better plastic.
For example, the ramp and the top fuselage section (which detaches) fit much better and have additional tabs to lock them in place. These don't fall, and provide a much "rigid" feel to the toy when handling it.

On a negative note, the mold has been modified to accomodate the missile firing mechanism, which makes the Falcon's front look less realistic (and if I remember correctly, the Falcon had torpedoes instead of missiles). A positive note is that the firing button of the missile is cleverly concealed using a piece that was already there in the old POTF mold.

LANDING GEAR: The OTC Falcon DOES NOT "SAG". The landing gear has a new spring loaded mechanism that makes two tabs pop into place when each the aft landing gears are lowered. You have to push these tabs in order to raise the landing gear back into the ship. This is a real improvement over the old POTF Falcon.

STICKERS: The OTC Falcon does not have all the stickers that the POTF had. This is compensated, however, by a somewhat better paint application on the OTC.
If you want to have a "dirtier" Falcon, then you could either try buying the POTF Falcon sticker sheet on an auction site, or painting it yourself.

PAINT: DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURES ON THE BOX! These are from a prototype (actually, the photo is of an old POTF Falcon painted nicely). What you get is a toy that is mostly grey plastic with some painted details. This is NOT a dirty looking Falcon; it is a Falcon that looks to have just a couple of years on the road (maybe it looked like this by Episode III, but not in episode IV). Having a toy like the one pictured may require some painting or customizing.

ELECTRONICS: Herein lie the best improvements of the OTC Falcon. First, we get much better sounds than the old one. These ones would seem to be recorded from Lucasfilms archives directly. They are also longer and are more enjoyable.
Then, there is the rear engine "thruster" light. I expected this to be either an array of LEDs, or an electroluminiscent sheet, but it really is just two blue LEDs and a light diffusor. Pretty clever, and uses less battery than the LED array.
Speaking of batteries, this toy uses three "AA" (small) batteries, whereas the POTF used two "A" (medium) batteries. This makes the toy lighter and easier for children to manipulate.

I believe this sums all the differences with the old POTF Falcon, and that this will be an enjoyable toy for children, since it effectively combines both a ship and a playset that are easy to handle (Queen Amidala's starship was also a ship and playset, but it was quite big for children to handle).

i got this toy for christmas and its really fun. i really like the sound effects and the light on the back. i also like the fact that you can open the top. the toy is HUGE. the only flaw is the escape ramp it falls apart too easily overall its a must have for all star wars fans. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Earth to Little Brothers!
My little brother got this Plug & Play game on his 7th birthday. His favorite game is Pole Position, which is a racing game. He played it non-stop. I warned him to turn the game off so that he would not waste the battery energy. He did not listen to me, and eventually, the batteries ran down.

My recommendation is NOT to give this Plug & Play game to someone who will play it non-stop, because BATTERIES ARE NOT FREE!

4-0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect
I have the Spongebob and Namco 1 version and are not that fun. But when I got this,it was so addicting

    Ms Pacman 2/5
This is why it's 4 stars. The joystick on this game will get you mad. Try not to play it.

    Galaga 5/5
My favourite game. Except Bosconian is better. Galaga is just like the original

    Pole Position 5/5
Best Joystick movement ever. I tried it first and loved it

    Mappy 4/5
Probulay the lamest game in history. A mouse being chased by cats? Lame lame lame!

    Xevious 3/5
This game is really wierd but contronls work great.

    Overall 4/5
It would have been a 5 star if Ms. Pacman's contoler didn't sulk. Buy it! It's worth the money!

3-0 out of 5 stars It's good...if you like running into ghosts a lot.
OK so, the title makes it sounds like I didn't enjoy this. Don't get me wrong, I did. Being an arcade lover, I was excited about this. And disappointed as well.

You know those Ms.Pac-Man/Galaga reunion machines that are quite popular? Well having seen those at restaurants and enjoying them a lot, I figured that these would be like those. Eh...no.

My first complaint is Ms.Pac-Man. The original used a 4-way joystick. (Up, Down, Left, Right) The joystick in this thing is 8-way. (For the flying game Xevious.) Now you might be thinking "Hey! If it's eight way, you'd be able to play a four way game easily!" Well, yes and no. All right, Picture this: You are running Thru the maze, Blinky (the red one) right on your tail. You are on your last life, and you don't think you are going to make it. Suddenly you see Salvation! A Power Pellet! You are inches away from it and all...you...have to...do is...TURN LEFT! TURN LEFT! WHY WON'T IT TURN LEFT?! The words "Game Over" flash on the screen, as you realize you weren't holding left you were holding up left. BAM! Goes your controller as it smacks the wall.
My other complaint is it goes way to slow. I mean this is easier for beginners, I guess. I don't want easier. I want to feel adrenaline pump thru my veins as I dodge ghosts and eat pellets.

The other reason I bought this thing: Galaga. Holy crap, I love Galaga.

    They murdered it.

First, you can't hold down the fire button. This seems like a stupid thing to complain about, I know. But it really affects the game play. Second in the original you can hide in sides for safety. And overall, playing Galaga on this thing isn't enjoyable at all.

Xevious: I have never played the original of this game, so I can't compare it. I don't really like this game, but that is preference.

Pole Position is just fun. No complaints.

With all that complaining about Galaga and Ms.Pac-Man you would think that I would give this Plug and Play game a lower score. So, what's its saving grace? Mappy. I love Mappy. So great. The music, the game play the quirky graphics, all of it!

I have one little thing that bugs me about the whole thing in general. Doesn't save your high score. In fact, when I got the high score in Mappy, I had to take a picture of it to show it to my friends.

Over all, if you are going into this expecting the glory of the originals then you are going to be disappointed. However, if you don't mind watered down versions of them, and a few minor annoyances, then this will tide you over until you convince your parents to go to the restaurant with the small arcade in the corner. ... Editorial Review

Parents looking to encourage a love of athletics in their children without breaking the bank buying up an infinite variety of sports gear, may wish to consider this versatile set branded by the folks at ESPN, who know a thing or two about sports. Its a collapsible freestanding kit that offers six sports in all. Basketball is rendered in the model of the classic pop-a-shot game, keeping score as you shoot baskets. In football, youre the quarterback throwing a ball through a small hoop, the same hoop used to test your pitching accuracy in the baseball mode. The action moves to the floor for the other sports as you kick at a small target with a soccer ball, slap a puck at a small target in hockey, and putt into a cup for golf. All necessary gear is included for each sport and an electronic scoring system and the canned voice of ESPN announcer Stuart Scott add to the fun. Some sports in this set work better than others, basketball being a little more fun than hockey, but the sheer versatility of this set make it a good option and means it will be hard for anyone to run out of challenges. --Charlie Williams ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Addicting but unreliable
I bought this for my six year old son. I must say, I have spent more time on it than him, playing it into the night after he's put to bed. I've had some reliability problems though--the scoring quit working reliably shortly after we got it--sometimes it records a score, sometimes it doesn't and checking the wiring and replacing batteries hasn't fixed it.Also beware, it's BIG. You need plenty of room and a high celing. Even when "collapsed" into it's storage position, it is a mighty prominent addition to your home. Still, wouldhave given it five stars overall if it worked reliably.

3-0 out of 5 stars FUN TO PLAY BUT NO FUN TO PUT TOGETHER
My boys age 12 & 8 wanted this for Christmas so against my wishes I made the purchase. I knew it would be a big job to put together...why do toy makers think parents should make the toy???
Anyway the instruction book states that it will take 7-14 hours to put together...It took two people 9 hours... I must say it is durable and that is what I was looking for.Make sure you have a room with over 7 foot ceiling because we measured the basement thinking it would fit but had to put it on the unfinshed side of the basement because we did not allow room for the basketball to be thrown higher than 7 feet in order to fall into the net. My kids wanted this toy because the voice is from ESPN and without batteries this toy would be NO FUN to them. The basketball and football are the games they play most.Golf and soccer and hockey are not competitive enough and the scoring is not interactive like the the other games. I know there are other sturdy arcade style basketball games on the market for less money that I could have purchased, but no others that have the ESPN game voice. If you buy this allow ample time to put it together and make sure you have batteries on hand.

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth it!
I'll keep this brief.I purchased this for my 2 kids (boy and girl ages 10 and 6) for xmas. They played with it all day xmas and everyday since. They still haven't played with the rest of their toys for playing with this so much.Yes it's a couple of bucks and yes it takes up alot of room...but it's worth it.Better that their on their feet moving than sitting watching tv and playing video games. ... Polly doesn't need to hop around town to fill her day with fun. Her way to "vaca" is to do it all in one place. This set allows Polly and her best buds (buds not included) to shop, sleep, and play at one cool "resort", thanks to detailed rooms to be filled with 45 different pieces of furniture, accessories, and clothes. In one doll-day, Polly can hang at the hotel, catch some rays in a hot tub, eat great pizza and cuisine, charge out her credit cards at fancy shops, or catch at thrill on the amusement park's real, 8-inch diameter Ferris wheel. 5-0 out of 5 stars I love this hotel!
Hi I LOVE this hotel! There are 2 lovely beds so then polly wont sleep alone. At first I was mad at this set I tought the rooms were to small and the hotel was dum well... I was very wrong the rooms are a nice size for polly's. The roller coster is SO fun and you get a ton of outfits. The only thing wrong is that when I opend it the handel of the yellow purse broke but it was kinda of dum anayway! I realy enjoy this set and so do my sisters and we play with it ALL the time. I think Mattel should be proud. I realy think kids of all ages can play with this set like 3-13 years old Im 11 and LOVE it! I gota go now by! - Jackie

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME TOY FOR ANYONE!!
Even though the manufactuor says Polly Pockets are for ages 3-7, I don't really think that is apropriate. 3 year olds could swallow the pieces or something, and who says you have to stop playing with them when you're seven? I am quite a bit older than seven, and I still play with them!! I have a whole collection, and this is one of my favorites!! There are four rooms in the hotel, plus the roller coaster!! For people who say this toy is not durable, I don't know what you're talking about!! My toy stays together perfectly, and the roller coaster always stays on the track. This toy isn't exactly educational, but who cares? Toys are supposed to be fun, not an excuse to force more work on a child. But I guess it teaches you about hotels and stuff....
I also highly reccomend the other 3 playsets to go with this one. I personally think they become a bit boring without the other ones.

5-0 out of 5 stars So cool!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got this and I already fell in love with it!You can pretend the dolls are staying at the hotel. It has a room with two beds and a closet that pulls out. There is a gift shop with a balcony that pulls out, a desk that you can purchase your items at, a cash register, spots to sell cloths and purses, and a rack that holds a mirror, sunglasses, and magazines. The lobby has a reception desk to check in and out of the hotel, a couch, tv stand, and pull out floor for a cafe. The cafe holds a table, two chairs, and a hamburger tray. Another room has the roller coaster rolling in for the dolls to get off. The roof can have a hot tub and a lounge chair. It is really fun! ... Read more

I agree with most. The doll is pretty much stuck in this bent position. Getting her changed into her other outfit was very difficult. She is way taller than regular barbie. 1-0 out of 5 stars Very disappointed.
I am very disappointed with these dolls. The television commercial and when you see them still in the box, leads you to believe that they are pretty posable. Well, they aren't. Their bodies almost look deformed, and they are stuck in that position. They are very beautiful dolls, but they are also such a disappointment. Thats my opinion.

3-0 out of 5 stars American Idol - Tori
When i first saw the American Idol dolls, the one that really appealed to me was Simone. They were having an auction to fundraise for a school trip..And Tori was for sale...So i placed my bid...and i won..At first, i was not going to take her out of the box, but i couldn't help myself....I just HAD to take her out! After 10 minutes of tearing open the rather tall and fragile doll, i tried to stand her up...she wouldn't stand..her stomach is rather aukward, in a bent possition. Her hands are wide and her fingers are very long....I also found that she cannot bend, as advertised. I must say, though, i do really love her make up! The shade of lipstick the doll is wearing apeals to me...Her hair is soft, but gets tangled once in a while..This doll doesn't seem like alot of fun to me, but i think this sort of doll would be fun to collect, in the box.
After a while i decided to change her clothes...She comes with flashy and colorful clothes that i think are very pretty....Tori comes with:
2 pairs of boots (1 pink and 1 black)
    2 tops
    1 skirt
    1 pair of pants
    a karaoke machine
    3 mini CD's (they don't actually work)
and a bit more, i think
I have lost many of the peices this doll came with..
I think this doll is a good collectors item but not good to take out of the box....I would recomend it for collectors only, not for kids...I'm 12 and i play dolls still....I won't be buying another American Idol doll, for sure....~`

2-0 out of 5 stars Dissapointed
My daugher just got this doll for easter, and first of all the doll is stuck bent to the side, and the leggs are too long for a barbie doll, my daughter had a hard time dressing her and the music box only plays one song

2-0 out of 5 stars Too small!!!
We got this one after reading all the reviews of all kinds of bouncers...I liked this one because it looked cool and the windows with the net seemed higher/bigger....Well...I was wrong this thing is way too small...we have two boys 5 and 2 and they were jumping on each other... and not in purpose this time!
I (mom) tryed it myself (Im 128 lbs) and I realized that being much smaller than the average ones for rent the jumping area is very very hard, making it very difficult to jump ...it feels like an extra sturdy matress! Anyway I took it back and...... let me tell you...if you think you can easly fold it in the tiny bag like the pictures ....FORGET IT! It was a hell of a job trying to put it back in the box...it took two people (my strong husband and I)...too much work for this toy!
My suggestion to you if you really really want one is to invest in a much bigger one.. and keep in mind that the measurementson the box are of the OUTSIDE corners..NOT the jumping area! Good luck.

4-0 out of 5 stars Have to love this for cold winter months!
I bought this for my children's first midwestern winter. They were used to being in a climate where they could play outside year 'round, so I bought this so that they could get some of that rambunctious energy out during freezing weather.

We set it up in our family room and it was a tremendous hit.My kids are 7 and 3 and they have bounced themselves silly. It sets up easily, inflates in minutes. And the price is great for the value. I've had many adults in my home ask me where I got it and were amazed at the relatively low cost.

I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

4-0 out of 5 stars Mom of a little jumper
My daughter is only 17 months old but has been jumping since conception. I bought this item to keep her from tearing her crib down from jumping. The recommended age is 3. My daughter is fearless so keep this in mind when looking at it for children younger than recommended. She was initially hesitant when I first set it up (and yes it completely blows up in 45 seconds or less)not because of the bouncer but because of the fan (it is really loud)she overcame her reluctance once she realized she could jump (jump and jump and jump) I set it up in her play room, I have an old house with large rooms and high ceilings and it practically took up the whole room. The only real downside is you have to set it up everytime you use it (but it just takes seconds)and I agree with the other reviewers the "travel case" is a joke I challenge anyone who works for Spinmaster to get this thing in that bag. Why should big bouncy high-energy fun be reserved for carnivals and outdoor festivals? Now you can have the excitement of the bouncy castle often seen at those public venues in your own backyard. This castle set inflates with minimal effort once you hook it up to the heavy duty fan that is included. The packaging claims that the castle can be fully mounted in 45 seconds and in our informal test we did have pretty speedy results. Once its set up, kids up to 83 pounds are ready to get in and bounce (total weight should not exceed 250 pounds) in the yellow, red, and blue castle set. The entrance ramp and safety netting around the sides make for nice touches as does the convenient storage bag. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Beware
Ten months after purchasing this product, and with minimal use, our Bounce 'Round Deluxe Castle developed a four inch tear along a seam. Not to fear, according to a Spinmaster representitive, because a patch kit can be purchased for $8.90 and when applied correctly will repair the tear. One month (two uses) after properly applying the patch, the tear continued along the seam and is now a 12 inch tear.

My biggest disappointment is with Spinmaster customer service.Because my purchase was outside of the limited 90 warranty they refused to do anything.I assured the representitive that I was not looking for something for nothing and I persisted to try to find some middle ground. If nothing else I would have considered purchasing a new jump house alone since I still have an operational motor. But I was told that Spinmaster could not (or would not) make that offer.

In summary, your Bounce 'Round will be a wonderful product as long as it holds together.MY Bounce 'Round Castle is a waste of money.

P.S.Anyone want to buy an extra motor?

3-0 out of 5 stars Safety
We purchased this item and while the kids (ages 3 and 6) loved it, we found it to be quite dangerous. It is very easy for the kids to bump into eachother when there are 3 or more children playing in it.We also found that the safety instructions advise you not to use an extension cord for the fan, but the cord provided was not long enough to offer a safe distance from other objects. We ended up returning this to the store.

5-0 out of 5 stars Glad my son talked me into buying it!
I bought this for my 4 year old's birthday this past July and have been very happy with it.My 10 year old came with me but since it was in a box and there was no display, I was most worried about the size and quality.Well, after getting it home and blowing it up, I was VERY happy with the size and impressed with the quality.Even my 10 year old and his friends have had a lot of fun in it and trust me, they're not all that gentle with it but it withstands it.Plus, it's light enough to move around, although a bit cumbersome. We use it indoors or out and it's just so much fun.I would highly recommend this purchase and now it's on sale!

5-0 out of 5 stars I LOVE THIS THING!!
I bought the bounce got my son's 2nd birthday party instead of renting one for $275 for 4 hours, I was skeptical at first and so was hubby but I love it love it love it, My sons love it I have a 2yr old and an 8 month old , For his party up to 5 kids fit in it with no problem 3 yrs and under, It was a hit for his party and we have used it about 4 times total, It inflates in 5 seconds and takes a while to disinflate, Its easy to put away and fold but it never fit in the box it came in so buy a bag for it. Anyway it must remain on constantly while in use. I love it , It's totally worth it. Make sure you put a large cloth or plastic cover under it to protect it from rocks and stuff.Have fun jumping i know we do!! Oh yeah even I have gone in there to play with my 2 kids :)

5-0 out of 5 stars A "Wow!" Toy!
I bought a similar product from SpinMaster and am very pleased with it overall. More importantly, my kids are completely thrilled with this toy and are jumping maniacs! I got the circus themed one which is 7 feet tall. The jumping surface is just under 6'square. The quality is very high. I was surprised at the weight of the rubberized, backpack type fabric of the unit-the jumping surface is slip resistent rubber. The stitching seems very durable, often double stitched. The netting is soft, but strong and durable. The entrance/exit is secured with a velcro patch and the "opening" is reinforced well for all the grabbing it is sure to take. Mine came with a extra large very durable duffel bag, though I think it will take quite some effort to squeeze and roll the house up in order to get it to fit in the bag. I can't imagine that the fan will fit into the bag as well. The set up takes about five minutes-honestly. I place a tarp beneath it on the grass and hammer in 7 securing stakes, 2 additional stakes hold the fan upright. Once turned on, the whole thing inflates in 30-45 seconds. It's so quick it seems like it goes up instantly! Deflation is surprisingly quick as well-even with the fan attatched. When I have let the unit deflate on it's own it always collapses into/on itself-great design! If I just leave it for about 5 minutes it is remarkable how much air is released by itself. So far I just fold it over and "keep it wrapped" in the tarp because I keep putting it out every day. I've started keeping the stakes in the ground too, to further expedite the set up! I have a 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 yr old and they are delighted beyond belief! At first they questioned it's small size (compared to commercial ones they have jumped in). They think their bounce house is the bomb-diggity! We have 8 yr old neighbors who can't get enough of jumping in it. Because the weight is so substantial and the house has a wide base I believe that this toy could be used indoors with close adult supervision. Extra care would have to be taken to watch for house "moving" due to jumping and in keeping the fan upright. The fan base is freestanding, though the base is rather small for the large and heavy (metal) fan. All in all, I think this is a great splurge toy and it seems very durable. I expect to get several years use from it. The instructions read that the unit will remain inflated even with a small hole in it. I'm sure raft patch would be a good repair option, or duck tape in a pinch. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this unless you're a glutten for punishment!
I bought this toy, along with an extra joystick, adaptor, and all available cartridges for a 4 yo boy. What a waste of money!

    Pro:
This is a lesson for your child to persevere in life!My son becomes so angry and frustrated with this toy (as do I), so my goal is to try to keep him from quitting or, as he has done, throwing it at something!

    Cons:
-The sound is muffled and graphics somewhat blurry.

-The joystick prongs are extremely flimsy--certainly not up to a child's treatment, however "gentle."My son pushed the joystick plug into the outlet at an angle, presumably, and broke a couple prongs off--they were that flimsy.

-Like someone else said, the power acts up, sometimes not turning on, and other times not turning off.

-He has trouble working the joystick (you almost have to take your hand off of it to move it just one notch) and he gets so frustrated working the equipment that he can't even focus on the games.

-Some of the concepts, like spelling, are too much for the age group specified. My son is 4, in an excellent preschool, can spell certain words, count quite high, etc.--but a lot of the games geared toward his age group are too advanced, as they focus on advanced academic skills.Since he expects that he should be able to play any of them (as do I) it frustrates us both.

The result? After ten minutes he gets angry and begs for a movie . . . since we're already in front of the tv!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Perfect Birthday Gift
We gave this Barbie to our little girl for her fifth birthday. It was a huge hit. The doll is very pretty. She is wearing a very sparkly party frock and she says many phrases with your child's name. She also says a phrase about why your child's birthday is her favorite day. Oh and she singd a happy birthday song. Not only did our little princess love her very special Barbie, but the doll was the hit of the party. Mothers and daughters alike could not get over this specail gift!
