Starter Set Average Customer Review: Toy US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France Editorial Review Popularized by the Japanese anime cartoon of the same name Beyblade, has become an official game with tournaments popping up all around the world. Played with high-performance tops in portable arenas called Beystadiums, this game requires a thorough understanding of rules and strategies. The Beyblade arrives unassembled and can be customized using the included top, launcher, and ripcord. As the seasoned Beybladers say, "Let it rip!" --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more Reviews (172)
Eh, it's not good. The base is insane, and sends it into pockets all the time (if you use a Hasbro stadium). By the time the clutch releases, it's moving too slow to do anything. The attack ring is worthless too. Don't go by stats. I bought this blade for 2 reasons only -- the WD, and the bits. =P All in all, to give Driger F on the whole a number rating -- 4/10. ... Beyblade Electronic Tops:B-5 Dragoon Strom (Green / Red) Average Customer Review: Toy list price: $11.99 US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France Editorial Review Beyblade tops have left the kitchen floor behind to enter the space age, or a Beyblade stadium to be precise. Kids snap a Beyblade top into the included shooter, pull its ripcord while holding the top over a stadium (sold separately), and stand back as the top ricochets off stadium walls and, hopefully, annihilates other tops. Requires four A-76 button cell batteries (included) and a small Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment. --David Morel ... Read more Reviews (5)

Beyblade Medium Dranzer Flame Field Stadium Average Customer Review: Toy list price: $7.99 US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France Editorial Review Beyblade tops have left the kitchen floor behind to enter the space age, or a Beyblade stadium to be precise. Kids snap a Beyblade top into a shooter, pull its ripcord while holding the top over a stadium like this one, and stand back as the top ricochets off stadium walls and, hopefully, annihilates other tops. A little more than 16 inches across, this stadium is made of thin orange plastic with a lighter flame pattern. It has three slots along its sides where defeated tops get knocked out of the ring. The center of the stadium is emblazoned with the words "Dranzer Flame Field" and a picture of the Beyblade dragon with enormous feathered wings and clawlike feet. While this simple dishlike construction won't stand up to a whole lot of abuse, if treated with moderate respect, it'll play host to an endless bounty of spins and flips and spills. --David Morel ... Beyblade Starter Set with Shooter: Wolborg #2 Average Customer Review: Toy list price: $8.99 US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France Editorial Review Beyblade tops have left the kitchen floor behind to enter the space age, or a Beyblade stadium to be precise. Kids snap a Beyblade top into the included shooter, pull its ripcord while holding the top over a stadium (sold separately), and stand back as the top ricochets off stadium walls and, hopefully, annihilates other tops. By combining pieces from different tops, kids can customize a meaner breed of top or take advantage of weaknesses in opponents. This particular Beyblade is known as Wolborg 2. Constructed out of dull gray plastic, its claim to fame is a blue, rubbery tip that helps it hold its ground. Classified as an A-39 Endurance/Defense Type top, it scores high in the areas of weight and defense, but isn't so gifted in the offense department. It also comes with a teensy animal sticker for the top of the top, albeit one that looks like a white furry dog with wings. Some assembly is required, but it won't be long before kids have forgotten all about the hidden engineering lesson and instead focus on the spinning, careening, and colliding action. --David Morel ...
