Great Toy For Kids Who Love Resucue Heroes
This toy is a great addition to the Rescue Heroes line-up. Some pieces do not stay connected very firmly, but I agree with others who say that this is to keep them from snapping off and breaking permanently. They still work for their intended purpose. The talking computer is delightful for kids because there are so many combinations of voices saying different things for each disaster they deal with. I think this toy does a lot to stimulate the imagination of the kids for their own adventures. It does take about an hour to assemble and put the stickers on.

My boys are just getting into the rescue heroes toys, so I did a lot of research before buying. But, when buying them the M.A.C.C. I still missed that there are only certain figures that work with it.I agree with the lady who said they are nearly impossible to find!!!But after a late night search of every online store I could think of, I resorted to ebay.There I was able to find a good selection of figures and other mission select toys!I am not a big believer in ebay, but when desperate, you can usually find it there!Now my boys are happy little heroes!

My son loves this toy!
This toy is very large and does take some time to put together, but it was worth it for my son(3 1/2).No it doesn't do much in way of interaction but if your child can entertain himself with his toys and plays well by themselves that this is a great toy.I know some children need more interaction to hold their interest so this might not be a good choice for them.My son also has his friends over and they all love it and that's when it really becomes fun for them , they won't come out of the room for about an hour once they start playing with this toy.It also helps to have alot of other RH toys. ... Our kids have been Rescue Hero nuts for years. We have a similar police car put out a few years ago....not the mission select type. They have a great time playing with it. It must be at least 3 years old and still works great. A year ago someone bought our youngest the Mission select Fire Truck. It has never worked properly. I feel badly for the person who bought it hoping for all the cool things it was supposed to do. I felt really let down by Fisher Price as all the other product from this line have been great. Thankfully our kids accept things as they are and still play with it...I could never pass it along to anyone and wouldn't recommend it.

Defected toy
I sent this to my grandson, who loved it. The frustrating thing is it never worked as advertised. We cannot get the action figures to inneract, therefore I consider it false advertising. He still loves playing with it but it should perform as advertised. This is our first experience with Resue Heros & it wasn't a good one.

Excellent toy and addition to Rescue Hero Collection!
We are just starting our collection and have the snowmobile guy, fireman and now this one which came w/ the scuba man(another store's gift set).This is a really neat toy and allows the kids to use many different rescue heroes since you can connect one to the life raft which shoots out of the front of the boat and another one can ride on the back.Those are both in addition to the one driving the boat!

The boat was very big and I think it is a really good addition!It is very durable and definitely lets the kids create their own stories and use their imaginations!

A fun durable toy
I got this toy for my son a month ago and he loves it.The first day I bought it he played with it almost 2 hours.The only bummer is that you can't put the boat in the bath tub.It says not to on the back of the box.I let him try it once anyway and the decals started to peel.You can attach a rescue hero to the back of the boat and to the anchor.It doesn't make any sounds but it is still an excellent toy that my three year old really enjoys. ... Slightly frustrating fun
My ds got this for his fourth birthday and it has been a well-loved toy.If you get the figure seated well down in the backpack slot, their voice will come out of the plane.Not always easy for little ones to get it just right, but not too bad.If you don't have a voice tech figure, you just get plane noises, which is great too.My main complaint is that the back wheels and upper wing fins (and windshield) are not permanently fixed and are always coming out.The next time I get all of the pieces together I'm going to hot glue them!

Badly needed quality toy
This toy is just what our nation needs at this time.
It is colorful, wears well and encourages our children to honor those who put their lives on the line everyday of the year: police , fire just as our soldiers do.
This harkens back to the days when the policeman and the fireman were, like the local Rabbi, Priest or Minister a figure of trust as well as authority.
Let's work to bring those days back and grand toys like this can help.

one of OUR favorites
I am a mother of three boys and I would highly recommend the Rescue Heroes toy series to other parents.

for toddlers and younger children, these action figures are built in such a way that the figures are easy to stand. look at those wide-based feet. pretty smart on the designers' part.

these characters and all the others are well thought-out---from clever names, to gender and racial diversity, to the over all theme of real-life-community-heroes ...

the figures are pretty durable--- they come out pretty well from being tossed around and being used as an alternate toy hammer (my furniture and home walls aren't faring as well, though, oh well).

a toy series on my A-list AND my son's favorite bathtub, playroom and outdoors toy... i am happy as well with the videos(although cliche'd, but just right for young ones.) these are on my gift lists for other kids, as well.

This is a Winner!
I have a 4 year old son who wants to be a fireman or a police man.When I was checking out a small gift to suprise him withI came accross this. I ordered this one for him. The price was right and I thought he would like it.Well, I was wrong, He loved it!When I opened the box,and took them out, heexclaimed "wow!", and he said "those are cool!".I on the other hand, found that the toys were better than I had anticipated them to be!They are sturdy, with moving arms, hands, and they have removeable parts with working action features.He loved the video that came along with them as well.My son has not stopped playing with his "rescue hero's" since they arrived last week. Love em'
When I go to babysit for a four year old boy across the hall, he loves his rescue hero toys, especially the ones that come with animals such as this one. He has endless and vetures and he especially likes to play with this one in the tub. I have no idea how anyone would brake these things. I love the videos that come with them too, they may be exagerated stories but they give the kids an adveture to play on their own and they also educate kids if ever a crisis would occur. I can't immagine a better preschool toy, they're wonderful!!!

Great toy, Cool car
My son has this car for his Rescue Heros. He loves it!! I like the fact that he can put 2 of Rescue Heros figures in the front of the car, while another can stand in the back compartment of the car. If you have a voice tech Rescue Hero and place it in the driver's seat of this car, the Rescue Hero will talk through the car. My son definately loves playing with this toy. We have other Rescue Hero toys and he likes playing with all of them. It is a great quality toy, no problems at all, even the batteries have lasted a long time. I would definately recommend this toy and buy more in this line.

wonderful toy
My son got this for his 3rd birthday. He loves it and is still playing with it a year later. This toy has been dropped, kicked, and even left outside in the rain soaking in the kiddie pool full of water in our back yard. I thought for sure it would in up in the trash, but no the sounds still work and my son just keeps on playing with it. Wonderful toy. Your son will love this one.

16 inches long, with a 14-inch twin-bladed rotor, this is a rescue helicopter big and chunky enough to carry any Fisher Price Rescue Hero into action. The open-sided cockpit is scary or cool, depending on your level of heroism, but it does have a connector on the seat back to clip Billy Blazes, Rocky Canyon, or any other Rescue Hero securely in place (note that hero figures are not included). There are two big, easy-to-use buttons on the back of the cockpit; one makes the blades rotate and another pops up "water blasters," engine-like pods on the side which fire two-inch water "weapons." My helicopter is way cool!It has a great winch line that pulls my rescue heroes to safety, and it shoots water to the big fire on top of the roof.

Rescue Hero Fan
My son is a huge Rescue Hero fan. I searched everywhere to find this toy for his birthday (the only toy he asked for) and finally found it at a Toys R US store an hour away from home. (It was sold out online.) He loved this toy when he received it and it quickly became a favorite. After only two months of play, the top of the helecopter broke off. Not much was holding it on so I wonder why it didn't break off sooner. We are now waiting for a different model to come out.We will purchase another Helecopter for the Hero's as my son insists they "need" it.

A great choice for a Rescue Heroes fan!
We got our 4 year old this helicopter as a birthday present.It's great!Not too noisy, and no batteries required.It's entirely powered by Preschooler Energy.Kids can spin the rotors by pumping a button, fire water cannons (which will get lost, but who's counting?) and rescue toys using a winch.

Even after Christmas with all the new toys, the helicopter has not been forgotten.Even Barbie has taken it for a spin. ;-) ... Read more

Awesome Addition
I bought this for my 3 and a half year old son and he absoluly loves it we have over 15 others and the fire truck and the mascc or whateer its called everytime a new friend comes over their mother is a amazed at how durable it is and usually end up buy at least 1 rescues heroe in the next week

My son loves this HARD TO FIND in stores rescue heroes!
I bought this for my son for his birthday! Boy was he surprised! We looked everywhere for it, I even considered the great yard sale online (you know the one that starts with E). Until I got a little birdy saying if your going to pay S/H to the great E, you might as well get a good deal and go to Toysrus.com otherwise known as going thru Amazon.com. The S/H was not bad and it made my son very pleased. Toy is very cute and does not fall apart. I just wanted to make for sure I wasn't shopping around for that Jingle all the way toy. You know the one that falls apart when Schwarznegger goes to that warehouse (hey atleast that wasn't me)anyways-Great deal and I am buying it again for my nephews for Christmas this year! My son has nearly all the Rescue Heroes and this was a must for us (my husband and I are the true addicts).Both the man and the horse are very durable, nearly indestructable.The highest quality as are the rest of the rescue heros.To hear my son play out the man falling and the horse saving him and dragging him to safety is amazing.It can keep him busy for a long time playing out different scenes all in which there is rescueing, no guns, no dying, or superevil charachters.A true winner. ... Another Great Rescue!
My son the rescue hero junkie, got this with his christmas money. Seeing how he has about a million figures, this was his first vehicle.It is so cute!! The little rescue shooters can go in 3 different places and shoot nicely across the room! A big deal for a 4 year old! The jet ski also shoots out when you press the button. He loves that you can put the rescue bouys on the jet ski OR the boat and sail off to rescue shoot someone.He has a much better realistic ideas of what true real life heroes are from playing with rescue heros!! Now whenever he sees police or firefighters, he whispers with awe...."There's a rescue hero!" LOL! Several friendly cops have gotten big ego boosts from it! LOL! This toy goes great over carpet, floor whatever, and has held up to lotsa play from 3.5 yr old sister and my son!! This is Awesome!
My 6 year old son bought this firetruck with his own money at Christmas time. He never had any problems with the water cannons like the other reviews. He plays with this truck daily. It has held up great, and never had any problems with it. he has been a rescue hero fan since he was 3. He has almost the complete set of rescue hero's. My husband & I would rather have him into these than the other figures for his age. I would recommend rescue hero's to anyone!

Water cannons are the best part
Neither of my 2 sons care to play with this toy very often at all.When they do, it's to shoot the water cannons.They're not really interested in any of the rescue heros toy line.We have the jet, command center, fire engine, 4 x 4, figures and a few others.They all basically get overlooked in the toy room.I don't like the (watch type) batteries that are in the figures.Expensive to replace.

Wendy Waters is a very capable woman on the fire team.She carries a backpack with water to put the fire at bay.She's a beauty,but serious about her job and a member of the team.A wonderful role model for females. Her backpack comes off when she needs to be doing other things on the job to help her team.She's also flexible to fit into any other job description that is called for in a time of crises.My daughter graduated from the Naval Academy with Honors and is in Special Operations as a diver.I know women fit into important roles.We need to teach our children that women fit into important life saving roles in our society even if they are Home Coming Queen material.They are a vital asset to our society, and we cheat our society as well as the women who want to be in important life saving roles if we do not reorient people's minds.Talent should never be wasted because of prejudice or ignorance.We need to pass this gift onto our children. This bright red dunebuggy sports wide, knobby black tires for gaining ground over any terrain, aspacious driver's seat to accommodate one of the large-footed figures, and astanding platform on back with room for an additional Rescue Hero. the dune buggy is the most used rescue hero toy we have.sometimes the heroes ride, sometimes it's just zooming around the house under boy power, but there's something about the dunebuggy that just connects deeply with all theboys we know.

Long live imagination!
My son got this toy when he was 4.He is now almost 7 and still plays with it!It has held up very well to some very rough play.It even looks great after spending some time outside!

I love that with Rescue Heroes my son is playing with action figures and their vehicles that actually help others, not destroy others.In this day in age when violence is seen everywhere, it is nice to have a toy that promotes imagination as well as active adventures in rescuing people.

Add character to your furniture legs
My 4 yr old son and his friends are helping me add a really great distressed look to all the vertical surfaces in my house they can find...and I love it!This car crashes again and again and stays in one piece.(Just don't lose the rescue bouy in the van...it's mayhem until it's found.) They share well after being told that someone has to take turns with the removable raft to rescue the heroes from the torential storm in my blue floral sheet set now laid out across the family room floor.Rescue heroes evoke imagination beyond compare to other toys with just a little prompting from mom and dad.The new mission select toys are nice, but my son and his friends enjoy playing outdoors in the summer with the "non battery" ones because they can go in the kiddie pool I fill with water just so Gil Gripper can find a way to drown and be rescued by Matt Medic.They hang from our arborvitae and swing set.They get lost in sand box avalanches and abducted by our golden retriever.This dune buggy is larger than the other non-battery vehicles like the four wheeler, and helicopter (whose windshield never stays on). My son LOVES this motorcycle.The fact that it stands alone is wonderful.My son has the best time lining up blocks and then knocking them over with the bikes "road block buster".It's proven to be a favorite rescue hero vehicle over and over.

4 year old nephews loved this toy
I purchased this and another Rescue Heroes toy (Bill Barker ATV patrol) to send to my 4 year old nephews and they LOVED it.For some reason, they both liked the motorcycle better than the ATV patrol. The really liked watching the video that shipped with the toys.

We're trying to break their addiction to trains!Thomas has worn out his welcome...I highly recommend Rescue Heroes.
