Amazing price!
My 18 month old daughter LOVES carebears, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw one for $5's, and it included a book!Needless to say, when it arrived "we" opened the box and she immediately yelled, "Care-bur, care-bur"!She hugged it, cuddled it, and off the three of us went to read her new book. I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to order this. There is absolutely no mistake ordering a plush care bear and book for $5's!

Care Bear Collector!
I am 22 years old, and I am a huge care bear collector! I own every care bear released except 5. I bought baby tugs earlier this year and I love him. He is one of my favorites! Of course I do not play with him, because I am 22, but for a child this bear is so fun! The book is just as adorable as the bear, and it teaches children very valuble lessons! It is very durable, I have washed mine in the washer on the gentle-handwash cycle twice, and it hasn't got messed up at all! For any adult or child who loves care bears or stuffed animals in general, I highly recommend baby tugs!!!! It is such a great price only 9.99 and it comes with a book, you can't beat that!

Great Bear for a Great Price!
I got this bear for my niece. It came packaged nicely and suitable for storing (my niece is only a couple of months old) for a couple of years. I enjoy shopping for cheap, yet nice toys that I can give in the future. I'm sure she will really appreciate this in a few years.

This is a cute toy,but press it's tummy and it won't shut-up!

Perfect gift if you hate a child's parents
My daughter likes the bear and video well enough.I, on the other hand, want to gouge my eyes every time she watches the video with its poor animation and 1-dimensional story.And the bear with its over-the-top cuteness has got to be one of the most hideous stuffed animals I've ever seen.If you love the child and hate the parents, this is the perfect gift.

Care Bear Lover
I loved this item. Free video with the stuffed bear.I bought it for unborn daughters bedroom - Due Date Oct 2003.We're doing Care Bears for the theme.The video teach sharing and caring, with the fun loving, Care Bears.Our friends two year old has been watching the movies repeatidly, her mom has already had to go out and buy them for her.Watch the video and cuddle with the bear who is featured in the video. :)

My 3 year absolutely adores these Care Bears
We have several of the care bears that I bought for my 3 year old daughter and my 14 month old daughter loves them as well too! We do not have this particular care bear with the video but will be getting one....they are all the same basically anyways! I buy the care bears for the stuffed animal not to include that there are great episodes along with the care bear! Both of my children love all the care bears and all the care bear shows as well too. We also have the first Care Bears movie and the second one that they have out now and also the Bedtime Stories Care Bears movie as well. We are adding on to our collection of Care Bear items this afternoon! I never found these Care Bears movies or shows annoying and it teaches children how to share and how important it is to be nice to others and also manners as well too! I remember when Care Bears were out as a child myself and I loved them and I still do and I am thrilled that they have them back out on the market again along with the Strawberry Shortcake items as well (another big hit around here with my girls)! ... A brief moment of fun
My son enjoyed "The Care Bears Movie," so I purchased Funshine Bear and the accompanying video.I overestimated his interest in actually having the bear.He's got a "lovey" toy already, so this toy is just another on the pile of stuffed animals that he's not interested in playing with.I would say that you should purchase the bear only if your child enjoys playing with stuffed animals (I hate to be stereotypical, but maybe it's a girl thing).The movie is pretty good.He seems to like the "race" idea, since he enjoys "racing" around the house, anyway.There are some good "fair play" ideals introduced in the movie and some lessons on cheating.He was a little hesitant to watch it at first-- apparently the little bad guy is a little scary, so be aware of this and screen it with your child at first.I made the mistake of popping the tape in the VCR and then doing some housecleaning, only to be called back and asked to sit down and hold hands.Overall, it's one of those standard stuffed animals with a decent movie.

Funshine Bear and Video: The Great Race
THE BEAR: Funshine Bear is very well made and extremely durable. I seriously doubt any kid could (or would) try to pull out his eyes or nose. His mouth doesn't rip nor the sunshine on his tummy, or the hearts on his feet or the single red plastic one on his back side. So five stars there. Then there's the obvious, he's adorably cute and funny sunny. I like the way he talks with a smile in his voice. He's very soft, cute and huggable. Aww. ^_^

THE VIDEO: "The Great Race." It is a good video but note that Funshine Bear is NOT the main character in it.That is my main complaint.I feel that if a bear comes with a video, then the video should have the bear as the leading role or at least the top three.Funshine Bear is cute in this and has a role, he is part of the race; however, the Elephant, Rabbit and a bad guy, have the leading parts.I don't know if this is the same for the other videos but Funshine Bear is the only character on the cover of the box so naturally I assumed he'd be the main character.I don't know if it is the same for the other bears and videos.

MY DAUGHTER'S FEELINGS: My five year-old daughter loves Funshine Bear.She received it as a birthday gift and enjoys the video too.During many videos we watch together, she will get up and leave the room, but not this one so I know she loves it. Plus, the video has a good moral at the end that reminds me of an aesop's fable.

Carebears for Teens
I am a 13-year-old girl, and I just love the carebears! Most people think that they are just for the little kids and the adults that used to have them when they were kids, but they are just so CUTE!!! I went out shopping with my friends and saw a carebear. Without thinking, I said, "Ohmigosh he is so cute! I have to get him!" I thought my friends would burst out laughing, but they wanted one, too! We all ended up getting Carebears, and we love them sooooo much! Everyone agrees that the Carebears can be for any age. I would be thrilled to receive one for a gift! In fact, when asked what I wanted for my birthday this year, I said, "Carebears!!!"
Carebears are my favorite toy ever....I've never really been attached to a doll or blanket or anything, but these are just some AMAZING bears! I would be devestated if one was ever taken away from me!

Cute For Kids... somewhat annoying for collectors
I think this is a really cute item for kids, but the voice is sometimes annoying to me. I collect them as a a collector, I collected the 80's care bears. the nice thing is that the batteries can be removed, so that you don't have to hear it talk.

Soft and cuddly
These carebears are so soft and durable. I personaly sleep with mine every night. They are also something very fun to collect. But don't worry if you are older these bears are for any age.

Wow Care Bears has come a long way since the first movie that they stared in(we have both movies onviedo). Now they have plenty of clothes,accesserious, and most of all TOYS!!!! Just my opinion....
I purchased the Care Bear hard-back books about 20 years ago for my niece. They were handed down to my daughter, she read them when she was learning to read and they sat in her bookcase for 10 years. She has 'remodeled' her room and has packed all her books up EXCEPT for the Care Bear books. She will be 13 this month. She LOVES the Care Bears and drools over anything Care Bear when we go to the store. I'm purchasing this one for her upcoming birthday. It doesn't matter how old someone is, all that matters is they have a passion. As for the 5 year old girl who tossed it aside and said it was for babies, remember all kids go through an, "I'm all grown up now, I'm not a baby anymore" stage. Have to attribute her tossing it aside to that. Chances are she'll pick the bear up within 6 months and and it just might become her favorite 'toy'.

Not just for babies
I am compelled to write a rebuttal to the reviewer who said this toy is only for very young children.My six-year-old daughter is creative and active, and she loooooves care bears.So do many of her six- and seven-year-old friends.Care bears are a reasonably priced collectable item, and many elementary age kids are into collecting things.

A wish come true...
Okay, I know my title is corny, but I've wanted a Wish Bear for as long as I can remember. My desire for this bear was second only to my desire to own a Tenderheart Bear. It's unbelievable how hard it was to get a hold of those two particular bears here in Australia.I inquired at every toy store, including the local branch of Toys R Us, only to be told that the Tenderheart and Wish Bear line were not stocked anywhere in Australia, and that if I wanted them I would have to order off the Internet. This was very helpful, considering the only legitimate looking sites that I could find would only ship within the U.S. So, for months I endured some considerable disappointment in that the only two bears I really wanted were the only ones I couldn't get.
Then, by sheer good luck, I stumbled across the very two bears I wanted in a local...store. I've not seen them stocked anywhere since, including the store where I got them, so I consider myself doubly lucky.
Wish Bear is definitely one of the most adorable bears. She is a beautiful soft green, with the image of a shooting star on her belly as her own special symbol.
I haven't really had this bear long enough to comment on durability, but I'd give the 'fun' rating more stars if I could. It's a huge pleasure even to just lie in bed and look at her.
I now have five of these wonderful bears in my collection, plus an original Bedtime Bear. They are so worth having - if you are lucky enough to be able to get one. (I refer particularly to Australian shoppers, here)

Care Bears Wear on Mom!
My son was taken in by the Care Bear tv ads.He really wanted a Care Bear.My husband had to be out of town for a month so we ordered Wish Bear for my son "to Hug".

I am glad I was not ordering the bear for the video.It is mind-numbing.My son does like it, but I do not think he is getting anything out of the video.He now has two other Care Bear videos as well and all are [pretty much the same]P>My son sleeps with his bear every night.He has many stuffed animals and this is the one he chooses to sleep with.

Do not buy this bear for the video.Buy it because your child wants a Care Bear. I am not sorry we made this purchase.

Care Bears Always Wanted them Never had them!!!
I am so happy that these came out.I come from a big family.I never had a Care Bear anything when I was young.The cartoons were great.I always wanted the toys.Now I can enjoy them.It makes my heart sing to know that they brought them back.I will make sure that my daughter gets into the Care Bear theme as well.She already had so much fun picking them out with me.The bears that come with the Video will also allow me to share my childhood memories with her as well.Thank you to Play Along, Inc. and Toys R Us.

I Love these Bears
TenderHeart Bear and his friends are all so cute. Looking at them makes me smile. I'm 21 and after 16 years I still love these cute little bears . Today,when I found they created plush carebears that comes with a video, right away, I was on the search to find all of them. I have 6 with me already, and on the search for Tenderheart,Friend,Wish & GoodLuck Bear. I really hope to find these missing bears, so I can start collecting the cubs. Thank you for keeping the care bears alive after all these years.

any one could love them. iam 13 years old and i still carry a care bear with me. my favorit one is funshine bear.i just got her and i watch the movie alot.i was into care bears long before they came out again.it was hard to find any thing care bear.i am glad to see them out again.well one day i was at [a store] and i was looking at the care bears and one of my sisters friend wich she was 10 said that she had never seen a kid my age like care dears.i realy recomend care bears to every one! ...
