The Hulk: Hulk Hands with Electronic Sounds
Average Customer Review: 4.5 out of 5 stars
    Toy (26 February, 2003)
    list price: $21.99

    Editorial Review

Imagine if scientist Bruce Banner was given to fits of blinding rage only from the wrists down and that his hands alone, no other body part, were transformed into those of the Hulk. Funny looking, sure, and problematic if you happen to be wearing a ring or watch but not nearly as inconvenient and clothes-ruining as the full body version of the Hulk. These foam rubber hulk hands approximate that experience. Upon being impacted, they emit crashing sounds and guttural screams that emulate those of Hulk himself. Inside the hands are little handles for your own puny human hands to grab on to. The hands are covered in a rubbery material and are very soft to the touch. A note of caution, the trigger mechanism for the sound effects is very sensitive; anything that bumps against the Hulk Hands in a toy box or shelf is likely to incite quite a racket. --Charlie Williams ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome!
My 4 year old got this for Christmas, and he LOVES them!He has played for hours with his dad, each with their own hand.Even our 1 year old has put them on and enjoys running around the house with them on making those noises. They are fairly soft, almost Nerf-like material.I gave this some educational value, because you have to make sure they understand where not to hit when playing.Overall one of our best presents this year!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for A Family of Four
We love the Hulk Hands. My 7 year old plays with his father and sister. It is great fun.

4-0 out of 5 stars Ahhh!!!
The Hulk Hands will occupy your children for hours - TRUST ME! My son recieved them for his 7th birthday and was thrilled to death. All the kids at the party had a blast playing with them. Many of my friends have toddlers and when they come over (which is quite often) it is the first toy that the "babies" get out. They love it! I, personally, find it VERY annoying and for that matter, DREAD the children playing with it. ;) That is why I gave it 4 stars. LOL! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Great for Nemo fans, but better for older kids
I bought this for my almost-3 year old daughter b/c she loves 'finding nemo'. The way we play memory with her is we take out about 10-12 cards and play a game with those, as obviously playing with all the cards would make the game too difficult and not enjoyable. But my main complaint about this particular version is that a lot of the cards look very similar but are subtley different. For instance, there are about 4 different variations of a Nemo card. So I would recommend this set to a slightly older child and pick a simpler set, where all of the cards are markedly different (like the Disney themed set, which we also have) for the 3 year old crowd. Otherwise, my daughter loves it as all children this age seem to love playing Memory. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

Pooh fans can enjoy this great memory builder alone or with friends. There are 72 honey potcards (36 matching pairs) with colorful illustrations of our favorite characters from the Winnie-the-Pooh books on the flip side. The cardsare spread out with the honey pot side up. Players take turns flipping over two cards. Can you find twoidentical pictures of Pooh hiking, Piglet sailing, or Owl roasting marshmallows? If there's a match, thatplayer takes the cards and flips again. Try to remember which cards have been exposed for future matches.Play alternates until all of the tokens are gone. The player with the most pairs wins. --Alison Golder ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Skip It
I bought this game at a yard sale (...).I was not worth it.The cards all look the same (Pooh bear with a fishing pole, Pooh with a golf club, ect).It is very hard to tell the cards apart.I would skip this one and buy another memory game.

3-0 out of 5 stars Go with the "Original" memory game
This is a cute idea, but frankly the pictures are far too similar for a pre-schooler just starting out.Go with the original Memory game and call it a day.

1-0 out of 5 stars Box of Cards
This isn't a game as much as a box of picture cards. There are way too many of them to play a match game with younger children and the picture are too small and many are too similar.I had this game through three children and all we did was sort picture cards by character. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best play food productaround
We love this play food product.I searched many stores and web sites and this was the best quality food out there. It is holding up to my 1 and 3 year olds.

5-0 out of 5 stars Realistic but not very "healthy"
We bought this set for my 2 1/2 year old, but all three of my kids LOVE the realistic-looking food! We enjoy making sandwiches and eating the ice cream (the kids fight over that one!), and of course, the cheese-cake is my favorite... :)

The only problem we find with this set -- a problem my 8 year old pointed out, is that the food contains very little dairy/calcium products and way too much in the way of sweets. Thankfully, my toddler insists the doughnut is a toilet for her Elmo doll, so we don't have to be too concerned about doughnuts becoming a perceived necessity, but really, couldn't the manufacturer follow food pyramid guidelines for the quantities of different food items? ... Mr. Potato Head Silly Suitcase 25 Pieces
Average Customer Review: 4.5 out of 5 stars
    Toy
    list price: $16.99

    Editorial Review

Movie star, master of disguise, starchy tuber extraordinaire: is there anything Mr. Potato Head can't do? This specimen comes with 25 different features to mix and match, including glasses, ears, mustache, lips, arms, eyes, and hat. There's even a sticking-out tongue, in case he's feeling especially silly. All the pieces tuck inside his body for storage, and the whole shebang packs up into a plastic suitcase for face-making fun on the go. --Mary Park ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Vintage- You could never go wrong
An excellent toy; it promotes motor and gross skills as well as creative thinking; the children are not only proud of their creation but you could determine thier understanding quite a bit. it holds their interest because it provides versatility. Excellent choice.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great toy revived!
My oldest had to have Mr Potato Head when Toy Story came out. Of course the cardboard box didn't last long & the pieces were scattered & lost but with this set the container is plastic & it is easier to keep the pieces together & hold their attention longer. It is now being played with by child # 3, so I would say it is definitely worth the money. My only complaint would be the container could be a little bigger to allow little hands to put the accessories away easier. But all in all, it is a great toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Switch to the suitcase, puh-lease!!!!!!!!
This is very different (and much more fun) from the basic Mr. Potato Head in that the basic version only contained one, non-mix-and-matchable outfit (2 eyes, 2 ears, 1 nose,1 mouth, 1 hat, 1 pair of shoes). This one has 2 -you heard me- 2 mix-and-matchable outfits, just like the Romper Room version we had as kids. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent description of memory leaks in Swing
Several Barrels of Monkeys, a few dozen rubber bands and some hair wraps make a useful tangible demonstration of memory leaks in Java's Swing.

1-0 out of 5 stars Less fun than a Barrel of Red Monkeys
This game is not entertaining at all.Why would they put the monkeys in a blue barrel? It takes away from all the fun.If you want a good time, try the yellow or red barrel.I, for one, will be returning my "blue" barrel in favor of the superior "red" model. ... Read more

Most painters have to clean up after they're done, but with this set of five bright finger-paintsoaps, you can paint and get clean at the same time.Squeeze a dab of each color into the enclosedhand-shaped artist's palette and you're all set to turn your tub into an impressionistic masterpiece. When it's toweltime, wipe the pigment away using the included fish-shaped sponge. Don't forget to wear a beret in the tubfor the right effect. Paints are orange, blue, yellow, green, and purple. They are not heavily scented, and thepigments are child friendly. --Richard Farr ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Not so good....
It smells really good, but as with the other reviews, the paint does not show up on the walls. My daughter still likes to smear it on herself, but the colors still don't show up very well.We bought colored shaving cream and she has a lot more fun with that! Also, if you buy the Crayola washable crayons, they write on skin really well if they are wet and wash right off!She has a lot more fun with those!I haven't tried them on the walls yet, it will be interesting to see how washable they are there.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Real Winner!
Do you have trouble getting your little one to take a bath? If you do this product may well be your salvation. Once the
little one is in the tub and is given their paints the skies the
limit. How much fun is it for them to paint on the walls, on themselves and everything they see?We may never know, but
just try to stop them. This maybe a drawback as they seem to want
to use the colors up in one sitting they are having so much fun.
I agree with the others, the colors could be a little darker, but the children seem to see them fine, perhaps these old eyes are the problem. :0)
    This is a winner.....recommended.

2-0 out of 5 stars Finger Paint Failure
My son got this for his 3rd birthday and I was really disappointed with the finger paint soap.My son tried and tried to paint on the walls and the soap/paint wouldn't write well on the walls, although the box to the kit shows how "excellent" the paint shows up.I was very disappointed with this product. ...
