5-0 out of 5 stars Tummy time & MORE!
I absolutely loved this toy and my son who is now 2 1/2 has enjoyed it literally through the years.First purchased for the tummy time activity.......and my son first rolled over watching the little show! After he could sit up, he still enjoyed tapping the bar to make music play.It got put on the back burner during crawling stages (too much else to see & do) but low & behold once my son turned 1 and was walking, we had the Tummy Time Picture Show on a play table and he started pressing the bar and enjoying dancing to the music all over again!I highly recommend this toy despite any negative reviews.I never found it "sucked" batteries as much as someone else said & we never once heard the "engine" over the music! We loved it!A little pricey, but in the end one of the most used toys we have had, so WELL, WELL worth its weight in gold!

4-0 out of 5 stars Best toy of it's kind!!!
I have had this toy since my son was 5 months and he is now 14 months. We use it every night (when we aren't out of batteries) to fall asleep. It is the longest playing (about 8 minutes) lullaby light show that you can get.He absolutely loves it and falls asleep best when we have it in working order. My biggest complaint is that it is a battery sucker!Playskool should have made it take more batteries or use the gigantic batteries, as you only get about 15 full plays out of it before the batteries die.It is definitely not just a tummy time toy, in fact, we barely used it for that at all. All in all, I think you would be better off getting it than not, especially if you have a little one who needs to learn to fall asleep on his own.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great toy for 6 month old
We bought this toy when our baby was about 2 months old. I have to admit, it didn't make tummy time better. Somewhere around 6 months of age, however, our son started loving this toy. Two months later, he still prefers it over almost all of his other toys. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Choking hazard
The nose is glued and sewn on, but my baby still managed to chew it off.I found it hanging by a thread from it's face one day.So, cut off the nose before giving it to your baby, or never leave your baby alone with it once teething starts.

Too bad about the nose because my baby loves his puppytunes.

1-0 out of 5 stars Dangerous toy - has been taken off the market in Denmark !
"Puppytunes" contains phthalates and has been taken off the market in Denmark!

The Danish environmental protection agency (Danish ministry of the Environment) also found the "multi sensory clutch cube" from Lamaze to contain TCEP and it has also been taken off the market.

TCEP can cause cancer and damage to the kidneys, and children should not be in contact with it.

Want to give your new baby the sun and the moon? Celeste has athree-dimensional, yellow velour sun face with black embroidery on oneside, and an embroidered satin moon face on the other. Trimmed inbrightly colored, boldly patterned cotton prints, this is one visuallystimulating toy. Dangling from Celeste's round body are four stretchyblack-and-white polka dot ribbons with a different toy suspended ateach end. There's a yellow star teether, a square of purple velour withan embroidered butterfly that rattles when shaken, a green velourcircle with embroidered ladybug that squeaks when pressed, and atriangular plastic link. Celeste is easy to carry, too, thanks to acrinkling fabric handle. --Tami Horiuchi ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Daughter's first favorite
We got this as a gift for Maya before she was born and hung it on the toy bar of her pack & play. She loves it!It was the first thing she swatted at and grabbed. Now that she's sitting on her own, she loves to grab it and put it in her mouth. She seems to love the bright, smiling sun.And the stretchy arms are great to grab.

5-0 out of 5 stars She still loves it!
At 4 months old my daughter "picked" Celeste out of the other Lamaze hanging toys. She immediately smiled and giggled when she saw it.We have always used it in the car primarily and to this day, even though she's 2 years old, if it's not hanging up in the car she asks for it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Definitely recomend this
This is such a cute toy. When my son was younger we did not have this one but we had another toy that we hung form his carseat and he loved batting at it or just watching it . It was great for long car rides. I saw this on here and I plan on buying it for my next baby. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Packaging
I loved this product I got one as a gift for my first baby and decided to get one for my second. I read the reviews about the packaging problems and I thought for sure Amazon would already fixed it but to my surprise my capsule came DAMAGED!!. My husband was able to fix it, now I can close it. I am not sending it back just to avoid the hassle but I strongly suggest anyone to purchase this product directly from the manufacturer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great baby shower gift....
I registered for this time capsule for my shower and didnt get it. So I went into my local Iparty store and found it. I think that it is a great thing. I just wish my parents did something like that for me when I was born so that I would have known what things were like. If you have someone having a baby soon, great idea for a suprise gift. Just think of the things that are going to change in 5, 10, 20 years from now.

    Editorial Review

This is a happy, noisy toy that should amuse most toddlers. Everything that can be touched reacts in some way, from a trombone-playing frog to a book that sings the alphabet. Our favorite is the colored keyboard that sings each color you press. The tabletop can be placed on the floor for those still in the crawling phase, or can sit on the included legs for a sturdy surface and leaning spot for little ones who are new to walking. If there is any fault with the Learning Table, it may be that it has too many features: each element of the table reacts in two different ways, depending on whether it's in Learn Mode or Music Mode. (Modes are switched by flipping the page of the book mounted in the center of the table.) Though this means more fun stuff for kids to hear, the mode concept is not one that they can be expected to understand, and the effect of the toy's inconsistent reactions is likely to be confusion. --David Stoesz ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Another Great Toy from LeapFrog!
My now 15 mo. old daughter received this table for Christmas. She really enjoys it and plays with it almost daily. It is a toy that grows with her- as she gets older she discovers different activities on the table. When she first got the table, at 10 mo. old, she played with the purple flip door and the center book the most.Later she moved to the trombone and now she really enjoys the banjo. The table is very sturdy and the perfect height for babies who are pulling to stand- she has never tipped it over.

My daughter got this table for Christmas when she was 6 months old. She wasn't standing yet so we took the legs off and put it on the floor for her to play with. She's been playing with it everyday since. She's now 11 months and still loves it.

    Editorial Review

They call it "a multisensory play environment and activity gym"; you may just think of it as a good way to get a rug-rat off the rug. The base of the play nest is an inflatable vinyl ring (39 inches external diameter) encased in a fabric cover that's festooned with animal scenes and a variety of textures, and flaps; four fabric-covered gym bars connect to the ring and meet at a point over your baby's head. You can attach various included soft toys (a sun that plays "You Are My Sunshine," a mirrored star) with links to the bars. For the youngest infant, this is a cozy place to watch the world; slightly older tots will enjoy the sense of security and a bit of assistance with sit-up play. Toddlers may give the play nest a second life by seeing whether they can throw the toys or themselves into it. --Richard Farr ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for "almost sitting" babies!
This toy affectionately referred to as "The Donut" in our house was priceless from about 3 months to 7 months (until our daughter began crawling out of it and onto bigger better things). We partially inflated it at 3 months, and she enjoyed having the support and being able to be more upright....then we slowly inflated it more as she began to learn to sit up. We believe it helped her to sit up sooner, as it was a good exercise for her to "wobble around" safely in the middle. It is still in the corner of her room, housing some favorite toys and she still gets a kick out of climbing in and out of it.

Definitely a great transition toy for babies just about to sit up and crawl! The only downside is that it definitely has a loud decor, but will grab a babies attention pretty early! If you have a pump, its great to travel with. We took it on many vacations and it was a great thing to have in hotel rooms!

3-0 out of 5 stars caution: watch babies closely
I have had this product for approximately 18 months. I really enjoy having it, but mothers beware. When it says not to leave a child unattended in it take it seriously. I haven't ever left mine unattended for any reason. From hands on experience and watching how the baby moves I have used extreme caution. My little girl at 2 months would slide down into the inside and get upset. We always had to keep a blanket underneath her bottom to keep her from sliding down in there. This seems like it could be a major hazard if left unattended for any length of time. I would be afraid of the baby either suffocating or breaking a bone if not watched correctly. I'm just giving a heads up on this. I have never experienced anything sreious, but just want everyone that hasn't purchased it to beware. Things like this could happen if a person isn't careful. My little girl is 20 months old and still loves it, but she is only 20 lbs. so she still fits in it. I have brought it back out for my new little one to use and he loves looking at the colors and toys. My favorite thing about this is that you can take it about anywhere you want as long as you have an air pump. The cover is washable and it stores easily too. Don't be afraid it was a good investment. Just please be a responsible parent and take precautions.

This gentle, whimsical toy provides gentle stimulation and interactive play for a baby or toddler. There are three balls, each with a different colored fish inside, that the child can place inside the fishbowl, prompting soft music and happy, bubbly sound effects. The music and sounds also play when the balls are moved around inside the bowl. The unit has a rounded bottom so it can be gently rocked, and there are two volume settings; a feature parents are sure to appreciate. Requires 3 AA batteries (included). --David Stoesz ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A big hit - for a long time.
I admit I was skeptical when my Mom bought this for my then 5-month-old daughter (sorry Mom, if you're reading this!).But my daughter took a shine to it right away, laughing at the music, watching the sparkly "water" slosh around, and moving the balls around. She continued to play with it up until she was about 18 mos old or so, almost every day. As her motor skills improved she found more and more things to do with it - spin the aquarium around by herself, shake it to see what happens, try to throw or roll the balls into the aquarium...I was really surprised at all of the different ways she found to play with this toy. Great call, Mom! I strongly recommend this toy for other parents.

3-0 out of 5 stars Premie twins mom review of fish bowl
Overall this toy is quite durable, but the balls are on the heavy side along with the extra bubbler that came with the fish bowl. I have twins who run on the smaller side, so it may be a couple more months before they would be comfortable playing with the toy. The music and lights are great and they enjoy watching and listening. thanks

5-0 out of 5 stars Who knew that a fishtank would be so interesting!? :)
I have 2 sets of twins, 3 year old b/g and 8 month old b/b. We also have MANY pets (2 dogs, a cat, and fish). My kids just LOVE looking at the fish tank so someone bought this for us as a joke, but my kids LOVED it!! My 8 month olds love rolling the balls and putting them in the bowl. The 3 year olds love to sort of throw them in the bowl, (not recomended, but as long as the babies aren't around I dont hassle them too much :) ). They all love this toy and I had to go out and buy another one, (I cant have ALL four of them playing with it at once!)This toy is NEVER in the toy box, because someone is always playing with it! My 8 month olds are actually really in love with the turtle, while the 3 year olds love the pink fish! I think they like the bubbles better than the music (because thats what "the real fishies) do!) I love the aquarium toys (we have the crib ones too) and I love fisher price. Your kids will LOOOOVVVVEEEEE this too! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Not a Great Toy
My son, now 9 months, received this toy for Christmas. It has proven to be a disappointment. Some of the pads/buttons do not work and the toy is not stable. The tower is easily knocked over and, when knocked over, comes apart into 5 different pieces. Don't waste your money on this toy.

1-0 out of 5 stars Piece of junk
This is a flimsy, plastic piece of junk that is most certainly not worth $35.The tower comes apart too easily.Don't waste your money.

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointing - doesn't compare to older models
We have 2 Ball Party sets from 4 yrs ago and my 5-yr-old still likes to play with them.We got Symphony for our 1-yr-old thinking it would expand our set of interchangeable, build-it-your-way Ball Party parts.Big disappointment! They have made the balls and tunnels larger, so the new set doesn't fit with the old.You can only build the Symphony tower one way, so it is no longer a construction toy.My 1-yr-old does like to drop the balls and watch them go down, but why pay $35 for a toy that only does that??And it has an annoying feature that the sound keeps coming back on after the child has crawled away, forcing the grown-ups to hop up and turn it off.Look around for the non-battery-powered older sets, or get a pound-the-ball toy instead for less than half the price. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent teaching tool
We have a lot of these books and this is the best one.My 16 month old has been playing with it for a few months but now can "remember" favorite pages. This book teaches children to categorize objects and teaches them the names of many everyday items. We use all three levels (sounds, words/phrases, stories) depending on his mood. The goodnight page is last, perfect for before bed.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cute for the little ones
Althought the little touch books aren't that durable, this is a good one for the younger set.My 15 month old son likes looking at the baby faces. He really only likes one page so far that shows babies emotions, but that's ok.He isn't really interested in too many of the other little touch books, so one page is ok.
