    Editorial Review

Toys that grow with your child from infancy to toddlerhood are well worth their cost. The Classical Chorus Gym is one such toy, allowing your child to explore music at every stage of his development. As an infant, your child can lay on his back and bat at the hanging toys while the keyboard plays 10 different classical or nursery melodies, some with a children’s chorus. You can set the music to play continuously for up to 10 minutes, or only when your child successfully hits a toy, teaching him cause and effect. When your child learns to sit, the keyboard adjusts with him to the proper height, and then adjusts one more times to accommodate a standing or walking child. At these stages, you can set the music to play part of a song when your child presses a key or let your child experiment with scales and individual notes. The keyboard’s "singing" stars light up as music plays to further delight budding musicians. The Classical Chorus Gym requires three "C" batteries for operation. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My daughter loves this
We bought this for my daughter when she turned five months old.We use the setting that lets her hit the key to hear a tune. She loves banging on it.When she gets bored with the banging, I set it on the music setting.I like the tunes that it plays and my daughter enjoys how the stars light up when she hits the keys.I would recommend this.

5-0 out of 5 stars You won't regret this purchase!
I bought this for my son when he was very young, maybe 2 months. At first, he wasn't too interested in it, but now I can honestly say, I have gotten my money's worth. He has more toys than he knows what to do with, and of course, prefers our telephone or remote controls, but he always loves playing with this toy. And now that is standing, he loves to stand and hit the keys. This has definitely been well worth the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for all ages!
I love this toy!Someone bought it for us when our baby was born. She's been using it since she was about 2 months old and had enough control of her arms and legs to bat at the toys that hang down. She is now 6 months and sitting up so I converted it so the sitting stage and she still plays with it all the time. When she was learning to sit up it was great too because she would keep her balance by hanging onto the keys and "playing" music. My nephew is 18 months and he still plays with his everyday. This is the only toy that has consistently captured her attention and she will play with this toy for at least 20 minutes at a time. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Why buy a high chair?
I live in a small apartment, so space is of the essence -- especially when it comes to baby gear. And one of the biggest wastes of space: A bulky high chair. So, when my daughter was ready to start eating solid foods, I opted instead for the Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster Seat. You simply strap it to a regular dining chair (there's a strap that wraps around the back of your dining chair, and under the seat). It's very secure.

She's 14 months old now, and I'm still in love with the seat's size, usability and convenience. We've taken this chair along to dinners at family and friends' houses, and even to an occasional restaurant. It folds up so compactly, I've even transported it to a party in the basket beneath my daughter's stroller -- and still had room to fit my potluck dish too.

I attach the tray for mealtimes -- the deep lip on the main tray corrals the food well. And I leave the tray off for art projects -- I just strap her in and pull her seat up to the table so she has more surface area to work with. And the best part: When all my friends are lugging their high chairs into storage and buying booster seats for their toddlers, we'll be a step ahead (and have more space in our closets).

5-0 out of 5 stars An amazing chair!
My daughter is a little over two years old and used to have a big aquarium highchair. Well after her brother was born (she was 13 months at the time!) we knew we couldnt have two of them.

This chair is great for my son, we gave our daughter another "big girl" chair and its amazing. We have chairs with fabric bottoms but a straight back, and we use the one with handles. It fits so easily and safley because it has straps for underneath the actually dinning room chair, and to attatch around the back of the dinning room chair. The seat has 3 trays, a top green one, a see through insert, and the real tray. We couldnt find out what the top one was for (sort of a cover?) so we just decided to store that away. We liked the idea of an insert, and its cool. It works like a plate for messy foods like spagetti, but we really find it easy to just put the big tray in the sink, or wipe it up, so thats been getting minimal use. The chair adjusts to three hieghts so your baby can have their tray on the table and be a part of the family dinner, this is great and my son is always so happy! The chair can convert to a booster without the tray, or also without the back of the chair, although its a little narrow so I dont know if we will use it like that (although my son is quite scrawny). Theres a lap belt, this is nice to keep him in place and I feel that its sufficent, the tray is placed in such a way that I see it nearly impossible for him to escape. The chair can also come right up to the table, another way to block his exit. The straps are on perminantly, but all I find nessasary is to wipe off crusted on food, no need to bleach them and all that. The chair is easy to fold and bring to restaurants or grandmas (has a carry strap) but we just bring it to grandmas, the floppy seat is good enough for the restaurant high chairs.

This seat is so amazingly easy to use, I cant find anything wrong with it. Its easy to wipe down and theres no cracks for food either. I love this chair and it really saves space too!

5-0 out of 5 stars The chair from god!
The only baby gear I didnt want to get was a highchair. I heard of the tedious hours scrubing them from other parents, and I didnt want to put myself through that. I was thinking about buying a wooden chair until I saw this in a catalog.

Right away I logged on to see the reviews and I was sold! My son is a mere 5 months old but can EASILY sit up on his own (has been for 2 1/2 weeks) and I wanted to introduce him to his chair before introducing him to solids. This chair is just amazing. Like the previous reviewer, right away I got rid of that tray insert and the cover and put them in my pantry. I knew that my friends just complained about them and the regular tray seemed easy enough to clean. The tray snaps on and off so easily I was dumbfounded. It fits into the sink for clean up too, so I really am confused by the extra trays... oh well. The belt is only a lap belt, but that didnt bother me due to the chairs construction. Its perminantly attatched to the chair, but I cant see myself needing to clean it with anything more than a clorox wipe or a washcloth every now and again. The chair is easy to fit onto our wooded chairs with a fabric bottom, and our oddly shaped dinning room chairs due to the straps on the back and bottom of the chair. It has 3 hieght settings for almost any table and I am so excited to have my son eat WITH us instead of being tucked away in a corner. Its simple to put him in and out, and he never gets caught on it. The lack of padding never bothered him, he sits in the chair contently and will even take a bottle. No, it doesnt reqline but that would only make crevaces for food and for feeding an infant you can use a bouncy chair or something instead, because infants who can not sit up should not be in a chair. Another great aspect is that the chair is all durable plastic with no hidding spots for spagetti and applesauce, I know by my sisters inspection, and her 10 month old daughters approval after test driving the chair with Mac-n-cheeze. Its easy to clean, just wipe it down and its also adjustable. It can turn into a regular booster without the tray, or even further, a regular booster without the tray OR the back. It is small (great for babies) so I think he will only be in it for 2 years (a small kiddo) but thats what I wanted, a highchair for a baby.

Its so easy, and so simple that I doubt cleaning up after anything more than cereal (yes, we gave him a bit!) will be any harder. And I know Graco must be happy becuase my sister went out and bought one too! Its just such a better idea than a bulky highchair, even if you have the room for one, like I did! Its just soo simple and I swear that it will be your bestfriend too! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars BORING
My daughter is 13 months.I've taken out this toy on and off since she was about 3 months. She has never done more than poke it and then want to have it put away.Don't waste your money!!

1-0 out of 5 stars No Fun
I bought this toy for my 3 month old. And from day one he was just not interested in it. He is now 10 months and wont even look at it.

There are "floating" toys inside that just stick to the top and are very hard to move and then the designs on the outside makes the toys inside to see anyway.

    I don't recomend this.

2-0 out of 5 stars Much smaller than expected
My first son was not interested in this at any age.My second some played with it for about 5 minutes and that was that.

It was much smaller than I had expected, and I found that the fish either stuck to each other, or the back of the mat.

In my opinion it wasn't worth the money. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars it was great until...
I searched and searched and thought I found the best thing. That is until it started smelling of Mildew amonth later. The concept is great if you want to buy a new one every month. It is also hard to keep your baby warm, you can't get their body in water without it coming up to their ears.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome product...a MUST have
Typically I wouldn't take the time to write a review, but I feel very strongly about this product and recommend it to all new moms...also been there done that moms who are still a bit hesitant to give a wiggly baby a bath.My son feels so secure in it, that he just sits back and enjoys his bath.I don't have to worry about him slipping out of my hands, it holds him so I have my hands free to bath him.An (inexpensive) wise investment.

1-0 out of 5 stars Stinky, Stinky!! Not good for long term use.
I used the safer bather a few times and thought it was very useful. Then it started to smell!!! I washed it three times and could not get the smell out. Also, I noticed a rash on my daughter's back and arms around the same time of the smell.I threw out the safer bather and used the sling from her newborn tub and shower combo (on this website). It works much better and it is easy to clean. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Love this toy!
I received this toy at my baby shower. It is now my 5 month old daughter's favorite toy.She likes to be the one to make it "sing."

5-0 out of 5 stars Super toy that brings smiles!
My son absolutely loves this toy!I noticed that the manu. age for this is a lot higher, but we have used it since our baby was weeks old.He loves starring at it & smiling. Now that he's a few months, he reaches for it, touches it, etc.The sound is great & a wonderful product if you are looking for some classical music.

5-0 out of 5 stars My Autistic 9yr old loves it!
It is so hard to find a toy for my son, that will catch his interest AND take a beating! He is Autistic and half blind, so it's tough to find something he will play with for any length of time. He loves music, and the sound quality is great. He also loves things that light up. Because his vision is bad, he has to mouth objects and such, and this is right up his alley! He can chew on the plastic chew top, and finger all the different textures. It is easy for him to activate, and it shuts off by itself when he is done. The price was great, I love this toy company. We have had it for 3 days now, so far so good. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Daddy likes this too....
My son Jacob has this toy and I probably enjoy it more than him. It's a musical instrument! It's a toy! It's both!I can enjoy playing "Mary had a little lamb" while he drools on it.(Well, he is 2.)Definitely a good purchase.

3-0 out of 5 stars Very cute, but some room for improvement
Like other reviewers have noted, it's too hard for a baby to use, and definitely too heavy for a small child to pick up, but my 4-month old really likes to sit in my lap while I play it for him. It's awfully cute, and would be adorable even if it wasn't a musical toy. However, I nearly sent it back at first because one or two of the notes (legs) are tougher to get a sound out of (the higher notes). The yellow leg on ours has to be squeezed *just right* in order to sound the note, and even at that, it squeaks rather weakly. I also wish it had come with instructions for playing more than 2 songs. All in all, it's a cute toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars So cute!
My daughter is 5 months old, and loves her octopus. She can't squeeze the legs to make music yet, but if we put it by her feet, she can kick to get the sounds going, and she laughs when she does it.She loves to hug it and stares at the colors-she also smiles at the happy face on the octopus. She cracks up when we make music with the legs...even though she can't play with it by herself, it's a great bonding toy for us to play with together. ... Editorial Review

A parent treasures the time when baby sleeps. Not only is it a time for calm reflection on the joys of parenting and observing the natural beauty of an infant, it's a chance to catch a much needed break. But transporting a sleeping baby from a car seat into a stroller is asking for trouble: blown naps, loud screams, and all around frustration. This car seat carrier could help everyone stay a little more rested. Simply pop the car seat into the rack, and it becomes a stroller. It features four wheels on the front and two on the back, dual cup holders, and a large storage basket for carrying a diaper bag or numerous individual items. It's also collapsible for easy travel. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great product
This product may look lightweight and flimsy in the pictures but they are great sturdy items. I had all ready recieved both a car seat and a stroller which were not of the same brand so they could not be used as a travel system. All it took was one shopping trip with a one month old to try to find another solution without spending almost 100 extra dollars. I picked one of these Snap 'N Go carrier ups and was very pleased. It was easy to load up when I was by myself and could easily fit through shopping ailes. I would recommend this product to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is the best stroller.
It's inexpensive and very light.I wanted the smallest infant stroller possible so we bought this one.It folds up very small and we throw it around everywhere and it's still together.I would highly recommend this stroller. We have the Graco Snug Ride and it's compatible.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Convenient
This stroller is the perfect alternative to those so-called light weight travel systems. After having my second c-section, I needed something light weight and convenient - this was it. Easy to fold, easy access to a generous-sized basket, and most of all, baby staysasleep in carseat. If only the frame could fold with the wheels down instead of up by the handle - I would have given this product five stars. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

It's called "the Mozart Effect," the notion that exposing youngsters tothe melodies of the maestro can improve verbal ability, spatial intelligence, creativity, and memory. It's a pretty big leap of faith to understand that effect unless you personally see a toddler react to the stimulation. The Baby Einstein folks have a series of tapes (Baby Einstein, Baby Bach) that add visual stimulation to the bouncy recordings (using vibraphone, Rhodes electric piano, and even a glockenspiel). The melodies are heard against colorful imagery of spinning tops, wave machines, soft baby toys, mobiles, and the like. Several parenting groups and magazines have heralded the tapes for children 1 to 36 months, but the Orwellian aspect of introducing babes in arms to the TV screen may cause many to just pick up the CD. --Doug Thomas ... 5-0 out of 5 stars #1
My daughter loves her Baby Mozart. She dances to the music, she points to the objects on the screen, she loves the sights and sounds, and she intently watches for the whole half-hour. You can just see he little mind working, just wondering how those objects move! Of all the Baby Einstein options, I would recommend this one as #1!

1-0 out of 5 stars What a waste of money.
This was my first Baby Einstein purchase....and MY LAST !. I found this DVD to be insulting to the intelligence of infants and toddlers.

This was truly a waste of money !

1-0 out of 5 stars In my opinion, another Baby Einstein flop
A lot of the toys shown in the dvd are the same old toys in the other Baby Einstein videos. This, like most Baby Einstien videos, have the typical toys, spinning things, shiny things and puppets. What really is the purpose of this?No words are spoken in this video. There is no live-action when it comes to the pictures of fruits, vegetables, animals, etc. They are just still pictures/photos.I just can't believe some of these Baby Einstein videos! It seems like they just have an idea or two and try to fill up a half hour tape and make tons of money marketing this to parents who think they are doing their children something wonderful, helpful and educational by purchasing them. And yet people will sing praises about it.I just don't get it.I have watched and reviewed 16 Baby Einstein videos and out of them all there are only 4 that I liked. They are Baby Neptune (water), Baby Newton (shapes), Baby Galileo (sky) and Numbers Nursery (1 - 5).The rest are such a waste of money and time, in my opinion.I couldn't even begin to think of letting my child sit and watch all but the four I think are decent. How can this nonsense be good for their little minds??I have written reveiws for them all. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars great bouncer
I love this bouncy chair. Our son had a great time playing in this seat. The sounds, lights and hanging toys kept him easily entertained. Very easy to wash! I would recommend this bouncer to consumers.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for a baby who loves to kick!
My brother got this for us as shower gift.It has been indispensible! My daughter figured out pretty quickly how to make the music play, and has been mesmerized by it ever since! Now that she is almost three months old, she is starting to kick the toys that hang down, too. It's a really nice way to put her down while I cook or clean, but not have to put her directly on the floor (we have ceramic tile in our kitchen). It's small enough, too, to take places so that she has something to do at grandma's, ect.Between this and the Musical Garden Activity Mat, she is a happy, active baby!

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST BOUNCER EVER!
I can't say enough about this bouncer.I have a 6 month old son that is still enjoying this seat.He can get it bouncing so good and just loves to be in it.It cradles him just right and I never worry about him falling out or off.He has been in it all 6 months and I don't know what I would do without it. The bar that you can take off is great for when he wants to play or we take it off for when he wants to bounce. One thing is that if he gets bouncing with the toy bar on, it does kinda get him in the face, but he just lets me know and we take it off.I recomend this bouncer for all new moms needing somewhere to sit their child and feel safe about leaving the room for a moment! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Every parent should own this!
This is a wonderful product for many reasons. First when used in a shopping cart, it's comfy and keeps your child from touching the dirty carts. It fits any size cart which great. Also great for highchairs when you you go out to eat, just flip those wooden highchairs over and it fits perfectly!
I really like the added pockets to hold bottles etc. Also the way it stores into a pouch is a terrific way to carry it around. I take mine every time I go out.
A great product! You will not be disappointed!

5-0 out of 5 stars Lasted through hundreds of washings
My wife purchased this shopping cart cover when our daugher started sitting up on her own (7 months) and we only retired it last month (18 months later).Initially I thought, "here's another one of those high cost throwaway baby items." Based on our positive experience with this item, I can honestly say that I would highly recommend this cover for anyone with a child under 2 years old.

We were extremely pleased with the durability of the cover. This cover has been washed hundreds of times. Our habit was to wash the cover whenever we returned home from shopping or eating out.Although the cover has faded quite a bit, it has held up extremely well.No pulled threads, no tears, etc.

This shopping cart cover became a hit for us because it softened bumps when our daughter occasionally tried to turn around, stand up, or just lost her balance while sitting in the shopping cart.It also provided a physical germ barrier from shopping carts and restaurant high chairs. The fact that it was machine washable and held up so well makes it a highly recommended item.

5-0 out of 5 stars A MUST HAVE BABY ITEM!
I purchased this amidst much skepticism from my husband, yet this is one of the most used baby gear items for my now one year old.I purchased it about 5 months ago and I use it at least 2-3 times a week.It keeps the baby away from the unsanitary public carts and high chairs, while also providing a soft, comfortable and cozy surrounding. It is simple to place in the seat, and it is so easy to wash/dry.I used to get the stroller out every time I went into a store or to a restauraunt, which became such a chore, so this is a great relief!I get compliments every time I use it.It is a great investment for the safety, comfort and peace of mind.I highly recommend this to every parent who leaves the house with the baby! ... Editorial Review

Harnessing the invisible power of magnets, this Tot Lok starterset provides an effective way to keep your baby or toddler from openingcabinet doors and drawers. The set comes with two latches that can beinstalled on the inside of doors and drawers that measure between 0.5inch thick to over 1.5 inches thick, along with one magnetic key thatwill open either latch when it is placed against the front of the doorwhere the latches are mounted. Each latch is also equipped with a leverthat can be flipped to disengage the lock so you can use the door ordrawer normally. The system works well and has the added advantage ofbeing completely hidden from view, but it requires that parents keepthe key in a safe place where it won't be misplaced or lost. The TotLok starter set comes with mounting instructions and a template to aidin installation. --Chris Burns ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Works great! Very pleased!
I saw a few negative reviews on these locks that made me hesitant to purchase them, but when my 18 month old son came in the living room holding the freeze off wart can, that was it! They have such little arms and fingers; he reached right under the sink that had the traditional plastic child proof locks. I bought the 2 pack to try it and was so very careful because as some of the reviews said, you can drill right on through the cabinet and that is quite true, I almost did it on the first one I did. I blame my husband for distracting me, but I was holding the drill. Take it slow and BE CAREFUL! Consider turning the speed of your drill down so it doesn't get away on you. It's worth it, and as long as you use the little magnet extenders they give you, it will work awesome! As for being tricky, yes you have to read the directions. The first one took me about 30 minutes to figure out, but then it was easy! I ordered more and I just now put 2 more on, in about 10 minutes and they work super! If you need extra keys like we did, consider buy another couple of 2 packs, you pay $7.99 for an extra key and only get the key. For 3 bucks more you can get 2 more locks and the key and put them maybe in the kitchen where you have more cabinets. Just stick the key on the fridge, high up away from little fingers and you always know where it is! I'm very impressed with this safety lock system and won't use anything else.

5-0 out of 5 stars Easy to Install, Work as Designed, Very Happy
After reading past reviews, I am wondering if the locks have been redesigned or improved since 2003.The only thing I would agree with in the negative reviews is the template for marking the holes to drill is annoyingly small.
    Installation:
The kit comes with a template to mark the holes, and a drill guide to show you how deep to drill. The only way they could make them easier to install is to send over someone to do it for you.I installed 5 locks in less than 30 minutes. No harder than putting a crib together.
    Use:
Once you figure out where you need to put the magnetic key on the outside, they couldn't be easier to use.The only thing you have to get used to is you can't open the cabinets with one hand anymore, but I guess any lock would cause this. They do have a nice feature to disable the lock so you can open the cabinets without the key.I like this for times when there are no little hands around and I'm cleaning the kitchen.
    Summary:
Don't believe the old reviews, if you can put a crib together, you can install these. They do what they are supposed to, the cabinet stays locked until you use the key to open them.Would highly recommend.

5-0 out of 5 stars Simple solutions to everyone else's problems
I had used these locks in a musuem that I worked at before, so I knew they worked and knew how to open them.Let me just say these are WONDERFUL locks. The installation process for 14 locks was not too painful--took my husband two hours to do all 14 locks, and that was with our one year old "helping" (he said with an adult helper it would have easily been only a half hour).Due to the many other comments concerning the templates and instructions, I asked him about them, and he did say the instructions are vague and that the templates aren't big enough to hold onto them easily when he closed the cabinet doors to make the templates stick. However, he typically doesn't use instructions (first step for him is to throw them away) and he managed to get the templates in place...so it couldn't have been that bad (I wasn't home when he did it).

As for opening the locks, it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to do it--you can hear a click when the magnet in the lock engages with the magnet in the key, so it isn't really that hard to do.And as far as losing the key, I'm assuming most of these locks are being used in the kitchen--the key sticks to the fridge like any other magnet, so I suggest you immediately put the key BACK on the fridge after you open the cabinet, then you don't have to worry about losing it or locking it in the cabinet.

As for price, yes, they are more expensive than the plastic tab locks, but considering I found electromagnetic systems that ran well over $300-600 for a small kitchen, the $60 I spent on two combo packs (each containing 8 locks and a key, so we have 16 locks and 2 keys, averaging $3.33 per lock/key) was very reasonable--and I don't have to worry about my toddler closing doors on her fingers due to the gaps the plastic tab locks allow in order to operate.

Overall, if you have even a lick of common sense, you should be able to handle the installation and operation of these locks without much trouble. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy addition!
I purchased this toy for my 9 month old daughter and she absolutely loves it! She loves to grab up all the blocks and bang them together and chew on them. My 3 yr. old daughter loves to play with them too and when she stacks them up little sister loves to knock them down. Each block has lots of colors & different objects inside them which keeps my 9 month old intrieged and my 3 yr. old entertained. I highly recomend these! I also bought the Fisher Price Train & blocks set and she loves that too!

2-0 out of 5 stars My son would not touch these
From the time he was six months old till now when he is 16 months old. He never would touch these! He liked the leapfrog drum and the activty tables but not these. I gave them away because they were worthless to me and my family. Very boring toy for imaginitive children.

5-0 out of 5 stars Coolest Blocks Out There
I love Peek a blocks. They have many low priced accessories that can be purchased for the blocks. Like the dump truck, the giraffe, the activity block the little pully wagon thingy, the circus elephant and more.

My son is loves to look in them. I do too. I love the fact that there are so many different themes behind the blocks and they all are compatable with all the many accessories. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

While a tad more expensive than most other baby carriers, BabyBjörn carriers offer parents some wonderful design features thatmake it well worth the extra money. By allowing you to hold your babysnugly against your chest, the carrier promotes a sense of comfort andcloseness between a parent and a child. It also allows you to maintaineye contact with and talk to your little one during trips to the store, walks around the house, and short hikes (for both mom and dad). Thecarrier's other big advantage is that it frees up both your hands whileyou carry your infant. The black carrier consists of a large triangularfront piece that supports baby's head and body, along with a set ofthick padded straps that are worn like a shoulder-and-waist harness.Newborns and smaller babies should always ride rear-facing in thecarrier, while older babies who can hold their heads upright unassistedcan ride forward-facing and enjoy the view ahead of them. Made ofmachine-washable 100 percent cotton, the carrier can be easily adjustedfrom the front for your baby's size. Although the carrier has beentested for use with babies who weigh from 8 to 25 pounds, some parentsfound that the carrier became uncomfortable to wear and placed a lot ofstrain on the lower back when it was used to carry a child weighingmore than 20 pounds. --Chris Burns ... I really liked this carrier, however, unless you plan on using it ALOT when the baby is small, you won't get your money's worth. My son was too big for this by 3 months.By the time I decided to take him out of the house, he barely fit in it.It might be a better idea to get a cheaper carrier. ... This versatile drying rack holds all those oddly sized baby andtoddler dishes that tend to tumble off ordinary dish racks. Theone-piece plastic unit has eight fold-down pegs that hold bottles, nipples, collars, and cups. An accessory compartment also holdscollars, nipples, and pacifiers, or you can use it to store up to sixsippy cup lids. Flatware sized for both babies and toddlers fits neatlyin the stand-up bin, and there is even a special holder for adouble-sided bottlebrush, which comes with the rack. The drying rackhas an angled base that allows water to drain directly into the sink. The entire unit can be placed in the dishwasher. --ElisabethFredrickson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Love this rack!
We got this since we have a 2 year old and are due with our second in a few weeks.I love that This can hold my son's sippy cups and all of the parts, as well as all of the little baby items that always seem to get misplaced.Since we don't have a dishwasher, this helps, since I also use it for my son's toddler plates, bowls and utensils. It's small enough so it doesn't take up alot of counter space, but big enough to do the job!We definately reccommend this!

2-0 out of 5 stars Great for Bottles...Not Great for Toddler Cups
I really loved this drying rack when my son only used bottles. It even worked good for smaller sippy cups. But now that we have large sippy cups, I can only fit maybe 4 cups on it to dry.And we go through a lot more than that!It still works great at holding all the lids and valves, just not the cups.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for bottles..
I love this rack...I wish it were bigger since I wash what seems like a hundred bottles a day.I don't have a dishwasher..ugh!!I have a large towel on the counter and I usually use this rack for the nipples. and the compartment for the pacifiers. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Works as advertised
I bought one a year ago and have been using it almost 24/7 ever since. Although my family isn't experiencing any allergy symptoms, I bought it as a preventative measure hoping it would lessen the likleyhood of any of my children from developing allergies. When we move to a larger house this year I plan to purchase another one.

As far as its performance, it is a very quiet machine when operating at the low setting. The pre-filter has been replaced just once and after the filter replacement light came on.

    I hope this helps.

4-0 out of 5 stars They say it's not in stock, but I got it in one day!
Very odd -- the description says to order now to get on line for when it's available, but 18 hours after I ordered two of them they were delivered. Even with super saver shipping, which is supposed to take 9 days. It's like I have an Amazon shipping facility in my basement. If you order it, you'd better be ready for it!

    5-0 out of 5 stars Manhattan construction/dirt + QUIET!
I also live in downtown Manhattan, and construction on my building's roof has been spewing dust and dirt everywhere.I have this air purifier in my bedroom, and it has been very effective with reducing my usual spring allergy symptoms.

Most of all, I love the fact that this air purifier is so effective without being loud like other air purifiers -- while it isn't quite "silent," on low the air purifier is whisper quiet, so I have no trouble falling asleep with it on.I also like the "no draft" technology, so it also isn't windy like other air purifiers.

The only thing I would add to other reviews is that it is actually a little bigger than it appears in this picture. The fact that it can't be placed flush against a wall is a downer, but overall, I have been very happy with this purchase! Also, I inexplicably received this just one day after I ordered it even though the listing says it is not currently in stock. ... In the bright, cheerful colors that Sassy has become famous for, this set of miscellaneous playthings and teethers is sure to capture baby's interest and attention. While the eye-catching colors and shapes, are sure to draw baby's eye, the toys in this set also come in a variety of textures and shapes, so that baby can investigate how each one feels in her hand and, inevitably, in her mouth. 5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful
I wasn't sure what toys to buy, since there are so many to choose from. This set of toys were perfect.Since my daughter could first hold a rattle at around 3 months until present she has loved these toys. There is something for every step of the way.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Assortment of Baby Toys
I bought this set before my son was born and couldn't wait to show him all of the bright, colorful toys. When he was a few weeks old, we held the rattles in front of him, and he stared at them in amazement.Eventually he learned to hold and shake them on his own, and then he discovered the other toys.He fell in love with the yellow and purple jingle ball, and he would have lots of fun shaking it and rolling it across the floor. The teethers are nicely textured, and the linking letters are fun to dangle from an activity gym. Also, my son loves the little yellow rubber ducky and the purple octopus.I squirt him with them during bath time, and he laughs and squeals.Of all the toys we now own, many of his favorites are from the original Sassy set. This toy set has been wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to other parents. Not only are the toys designed with bright, high-contrast patterns to please young infants, but also they are varied and durable enough to please older babies. This truly is a great assortment of baby toys.

I received this box of toys as a shower gift for my twins. They are now 7 months old and continue to play with these toys. They both continue to go back to this set, more so then any other toys they have.I will always buy this as a baby gift from now on. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A Notable Twist on an Old Classic --Great for Young Toddlers
My son received this book as a gift when he was 1. I still read it regularly to him at 28 months. The book features Twinkle Twinkle Little Start plus a few verses you probably don't know on one side. Then flip the book to read Golden Slumbers, which may be new to you as it was to me.

The illustrations in this book are dazzling, literally. Not only do the figures feature the bold colors and contrasts toddlers love (not too busy), but each page also has a holographic overlay with a star or moon. There are also some cut-out pages adding a tactile dimension to the book. The celestial theme is carried throughout the book which has no religious overtones.

I have only one very small gripe about this book. The rhythm is lost in one of the verses of Twinkle Twinkle ("She would not know which way to go, if you did not twinkle so"). You have to sort of swallor the word "She" and accent the word "would" to make it work.

Otherwise, I adore this book. It makes a lovely shower gift so parents can start to read to their children from day one. ... Read more

This has been one of my daughter's favorites for a very long time. She is now three and still never tires of Boynton's colorful, and fun books. My one year old son loves her books too.We have several and this is one of the very best. She writes with such a rhythm that you can not help singing her books much to the delightful squeals of my two little ones. This short story is about farm animals square dancing and we act out the various animal dance moves each time we read it.I usually give Boynton and Richard Scarry books for baby gifts and first birthday gifts, especially for new moms who may not have discovered them yet.You can't go wrong with either of these two authors.

    Editorial Review

Kids love trains, and Kevin Lewis and illustrator Daniel Kirk's Chugga-Chugga Choo-Choo will do nothing but encourage the obsession. "Sun's up! / Morning's here. / Up and at 'em, / engineer," cheerfully begins this rhyming picture book. As the simple large-lettered text chugs along, Daniel Kirk brings a child's playroom and train set to life with bold, bright illustrations reminiscent of his work in Bigger. In the course of the book, the toys bustle about to make sure the steam engine is loaded up with freight and finds its way (through the country, 'round the mountains, into tunnels, and across the river) to its destination--the city. There the "sleepy-sleepy choo-choo" rests, right next to a tired little boy, until the next day's work begins: "To theroundhouse/ you are bound. / Good night, engine, / safe and sound."
