Great Keepsake!!
This was such a hit at my daughter's party!What was planned to be an activity for the little girls in the crowd turned out to be the highlight among the "big girls" (mommies and aunties)!Everyone that could get their hand on one of the shirts were so intent on making the best and most original design!The "juices" were really flowing and we got some pretty awesome t-shirts.The guests were all told that their creations would be kept by the birthday girl as her keepsake.My daughter will have all these t-shirts to remember her birthday...she'll be dressing her Barbie with them for years to come!!I'm still getting calls about getting some more shirts out...and it's been a whole WEEK since the party!! ... Very Pretty!
I was abosolutly amazed with this barbie.I love ballet and The Nutcracker, and I also collect Barbie Collectibles, so I am hoping to own most if not all of the Nutcracker barbies.She has a cute stripped costume, pretty pink tutu, and her leg and feet positions are very realistic.I love her hair! It has finger curls in it and it is so cute!She comes with a stand to display her (of course).I would definatly recommend this doll to a Nutcracker fan or a barbie collector.

Beautiul doll - simply stunning
Peppermint Candy Cane Classic Ballet Series Barbie Doll is a beautiful for collectors. She has a beautiful layered tutu and her striped leotard is lovely as well. she comes with a cute candy cane and her ballet slippers look real and can come off but Im sure they are VERY hard to get back on. her tights even look real! Oh, and her hair is adorable! ADORABLE! but take the netting out of it, I didn't realize that at first and her hair wouldn't "poof" up, but now it looks great! wonderfull doll for a new collector or an "expirenced" collector. ... Not only can her luxurious blonde hair be styledwith several tools (comb, brush, pins, tiara, clasps, bows, even a weddingveil), she has more hair than ever. A handful of pink jewelry is on hand, andgirls can even give Barbie a makeover. Dip the included sponge applicator intocold water and apply it to Barbie's lips, cheeks, and eyelids for a flourish ofglamorous color. A SUCCESS ON BARBIES BEHALF!
I think that this toy is a great edurcational benifit for children hoping to become beautitions, hairdressers ect...
it is resonable priced and will last for ever.[if kept well]perents will will be thankful to barbie for a bit of peace and quiet and good grades with this good quallity toy.

Not worth the money.
My eight year old daughter got this for Christmas.She was very excited, so I took it out of the box for her.Not two minutes later, she brought it to me and asked me to help her comb the hair.Well, 15 minutes later I finished combing out the mess, and she played with it for a little while, quickly becoming bored when the hair again became tangled.She also became bored with what Barbie said very easily, though I think the sayings might be a little more interesting to a younger child.Now, she is a careful child who has a doll with wig quality hair, which she keeps nicely.She has barely touched this toy.

While cleaning her room recently, this toy got put in the "pack away or give away" pile.She looked at me sheepishly and told me that she likes the doll, but it just isn't as fun as she thought it would be.I asked if she meant that she couldn't do her hair, snd she admitted that it was.When I went to put the parts to the doll in a baggie, they were pretty stuck in her hair.Also, the hair, when hanging down and combed, looks very thin, not at all like "real" or even like a Barbie doll's.The makeup doesn't work very well at all, we only bothered with it twice.

I think this could be a very fun toy for girls who are interested, like my daughter, in styling hair, pretending to be brides and princesses, and applying "makeup".Unfortunately, the quality just isn't there.She has a lot more fun taking fun hair accessories and play makeup and doing her own hair, and anybody else's who will visit "Kayleigh's Salon".I think we enjoy it more too!

I bought this toy for my 4 year old daughter who loves to play with hair.She absolutely loved it.She has a lot of fun with it.I think it is education because it opens up a child's imagination, creativive play, as well as teaches them patience and enhances hand and eye coordination (like when braiding).It is the doll I would have loved to have as a kid myself. ... Mother Of Two
I bought this for my kids as they love to brush hair and fix hair. I think this toy is educational as it helps my kids how to brush there hair and try to fix there own hair even thought they can not do it yet as they are only 4 and 5 but do think in time they will be able to do it as the kids play and lean with these heads.

My daughter loves it!
I bought the Barbie Talking Styling Head as a birthday present for my oldest daughter who turned nine.Now her little sister who will be five in February wants one.

Stick to some of the old ways
It serves the purpose of hair combing. The basic items of hair rollers and a brush are missing. I had a Buffy head that included those items. You've included earrings, make up, tiarra, and a veil. The Happy Birthday Barbie doll is released annually, and this year she is as lovely--in much the same way--as she was the year before. This time, Cotillion chic supplants prom vogue. Heavy brown bangs replace last year's fringes. Fuchsia dominates over the purple or pink from before. The big bow that was a bustle or hat, is now at Barbie's waist. Get the point? A few things do add interest, like a tiny gift box (to fill with a ring for Mommy, or a jaw breaker for Daddy?). There's also a tiny paper birthday card and cake, but a deft Barbie fan knows where real value lies: the kid-sized tiara. Nice unusual doll for the adult collector--really!
The use of the Generation girl face for other than the standard Caucasian Barbie is a nice change of pace, and for those adults who collect Barbies, especially those who redress and customize, this is a great doll to have.The dress is not much for the adult collector, and because of that the doll is overpriced, but how often do you see a lovely brown-skinned version of this head sculpt?

Birthday Gift For My Niece
I bought this gift for my 3 year old niece and she loved it. It came with a cute little tiara for the birthday girl. Unfortunately I think she was a bit too young for the toy because she wanted to undress it and she ended up losing the shoes. My sister ended up putting it away because she said that it was too nice for my niece to ruin. So what she did was she put it up on a shelf and it made a very nice display doll for my niece's room. I think that this doll is too pretty for a younger child to play with and ruin. I would recommend it for an older girl, or for use as a display for a collector or to add a touch of decoration for a little girls room to match the barbie comfortor, curtains, etc. ... Read more
