Great Investment
We were hesitant to spend $50 on an infant toy, but it was so worth it.My daughter stared, kicked, and rolled for many hours on this toy the first 6 months.The colors are great and she loved the accessories.She is now 9 months and I removed the toys.She now has them hanging on her car seat, stroller, and high chair.This is so versatile and well worth the money.

My baby loves it!
I bought this for my baby when she was just over a month old.$50 seemed like a lot of money, but she loves it.She will lay on it and play for an hour, and she is only 2 months old.It allows me to get things done while she is safe & content.It is the best $50 I spent.I'd recommend it to anyone.

Worth every penny!
This playmat is one of the best gifts the baby received! During the earlier months, he loved staring at the attachment toys, which encouraged him to reach & bat at things. Later, during tummy time, he discovered the crinkly pad and the bright colors on the mat, itself. We have also taken off the toys and attached them to his exersaucer, stroller, and carseat, for even portable fun. The rings that attached the toys to the gymini were also used to attach other toys with little loops. Interesting to Infants
We got this at a baby shower and it was a hit with the hostess's 2 month old.He stared and was so intrigued.
Now, my daughter loves looking in the mirror and 'talking' to herself and to the brightly colored turtle.
The different colors, sounds and textures have kept her interested.
It is easy to attach to the stroller or carrier. (Just not on the carrier's handle since it is big enough to whack her in the face.)
This is a practical toy that I will give out as gifts to friends expecting!

Excellent First Toy For Baby
A friend gave this to my daughter when she was 3 mos old.At that point, she had just discovered herself in the mirror, so the underside of this turtle (which is a mirror) was great for her to stare at herself.We hung it from the side of her bassinet.Now, at 5 mos old, she doesn't go anywhere without this turtle!She chews on it - it's great for teething - and she loves grabbing the feet, which make crackling noises.This is by far her favorite toy! I have given it to several friends for shower gifts.

"Penny Turtle" good for infants
Our toddler, almost two, has completely lost interest in her turtle. She received it at 6 months from her aunt Penny, hence we always called it the Penny Turtle. Our daughter never was able to push the legs or head in, although she would watch me do it for her. Exceptionally disappointed to find this not stocked anymore!
My son grew attached to one of these and it has been his most precious toy and 'buddy' ever - even has named it "Dee Dee" and cooes to it, loving it like it was his very own baby.It is a disaster to forget it somewhere or not take it along for the shortest of trips.Although, she has worn exceptionally well for the use she gets, she does need replacing as the washing machine hasn't been kind in the the few years that we've had her with us - no tears, just the pink baby face looks to be wearing.I am very disappointed to find out that it is no longer stocked - the Playskool website still shows that it is available through Toys R Us, but obviously I'm going to have to shop elsewhere.Excellent pal for a child.

great little hamper!
this hamper is great.the small size fits nicely in our small baby's room.And, while it is on the small side, I've found that it can hold up to 5 days or so worth of clothes.The outside of the hamper wipes down well, should it get dirty.The liner is plastic, so I can understand some reviewers' complaints about the liner ripping.But ours hasn't ripped at all in the 5 months we've been using it.And even if it did, I wouldn't have a problem using the hamper without the liner - it is compact enough to pick up the whole hamper and bring it over to the washing machine.

We looked at some of the more expensive hampers that match the bedding sets, but those had other problems like the fabric liners would shrink in the wash.This one just seemed maintenance free - and it has been.

The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5, is because I found it for half the price at Target.So, I would definitely recommend this hamper, but shop around for a better price!Or use your Babies R Us coupons and pick it up on sale!

Good Hamper but Don't Fill Too Full
My daughter is only five months old but I've been pleased so far with this hamper. My liner hasn't ripped but I'm wondering if the cause of the ripping is filling the liner too full. The opening at the top is more narrow than the main part of the hamper (as with most hampers with attached lids) so the liner can get stuck when removing it if it's too full. Guess I need to do laundry more often!

The best diaperbag I have ever had!
When Expecting my 4th child in 2002 I looked high and low for the perfect diaperbag. I searched the net, looked at all stores. Everything was to small or to big but didn't have enough pockets. Fially I seen this one at Babies R Us.com. I went to the store and they were out of stock. I waited and fially it came in. I was sooooo happy. It was full of space. It has a handy take along pouch to put diapers and babywipes that is also a changing pad. For the times when all you need is a few diapers. It has a big side zippered pocekt for keys, medical cards, tylonel, all the important stuff. In front of that pocket there are 2 more and on the back there is a reg pocket.on The sides have to zippered pockets oneach side with smaller pockets in front of them. Inside is enough room for pampers, bottles, clothes. Anything you can think of. It is a wounderful bag. It has been 2yrs and it is still going strong. I use it for EVERYTHING!I would never give it up!

Plently of room, but BAD quality
I had registered for this and received it at my shower.I had my baby in Dec but sisn't start using this bag until late Jan, it is now April and the bag is garbage....it has ripped in several places.It does have great compartments for storage, but I now have to buy another diape bag and throw this one away.I have contacted Evenflo, only to find out that they contract out to Dolly inc....I have emailed them to see what they have to say.If I were you, I'd look for another bag.I paid 39.99 for it. ... Could be better if you could clean it
I purchased this mirror for my minivan (cloth interior) and it has been ok except when i went to clean it with a soft cloth(like the instructions say) the mirror got scratches on it.I can see the baby still but not the greatest.The pin holds it on the headrest fine but i can not put it on the middle seat because the mirror is too low than.Also when the babies turned around i put it on the seat in front so they can still see themselves. Works great.

Great!
My son loves this mirror. He looks at it constantly. I have used it since he came home from the hospital. The colors are great. The red is so eye cathing to him. He would stare at it the entire time we are driving. I used 2 rubberbands to hold it on because yes I too have leather seats & the fastening was not that great that's why I only gave it 4 stars. I put 1 rubber band at the top & 1 at the bottom & for the price you can't beat it. And I can see him perfect. Great buy!

A must for riding in the car with baby!
I absolutely love this mirror!!! Not only is it really cute, and large enough for a good view of baby, But as my daughther is getting older, she loves to look at Elmo , chat with him, and pat him as I put her in her seat or pick her up!Elmo has become her buddy, and is always there for her... especially when we go for longer rides in the car...

love it but it is bulky..
I really love this seat, i have purchased another one for I am expecting again, but they only problem I have is that when the seat is int he back facing position it is very difficult for anyone to sit in the passenger seat of my SUV , yes I have a truck and the seat is still a little big. It has to be placed at such an angle that I can use the passenger seat, but it has to be completley straight, so it makes it very uncomfortable if anyone has to sit in that seat. Like I said I have a truck, two to be exact and evin in my BIG ford f250 crew cab, it is still uncomfortable for the passenger. BUT other than that it is a great seat and seems very comfortable for my child. Once the seat is turned forward it will be great!!!

Best carseat...best customer service!
I have heard from ALL of my friends that Britax is the absolute best when in the market for a carseat.I did my reasearch and registered for the Marathon.A few days after it was purchased from my registry, it was recalled.Apparently, ever-changing safety regulations make it difficult for ANY manufacturers of ANY baby product to keep any item on the store shelves without some minor adjustments.
Britax is sending me the replacement part and if you go on their website, you can view a video of how to remove the recalled strap and install the new one.It doesn't seem too difficult.
Great customer service and still a great product!

Good for Safety, but lacks some comfort for Infants
We just purchased this for our 4 month old son, after he quickly outgrew his Graco Infant seat. We like it overall, but note that the seat heats up quickly sitting in the car, so we have to cover it with a blanket to give it shade, before we put him in it. The fabric seems very warm. The seat is also quite large and no one can sit in the passenger seat because it has to be so far forward in order to make room for the carseat. DIAPER GENIE TAKES A CRAP ON THE ENVIRONMENT
The Diaper Genie is a disgusting system that takes already environmentally-unfriendly disposable diapers and makes them even worse by wrapping them in more layers of plastic. Plus, once they end up in a landfill, the diapers decompose/biodegrade even more slowly beacuse of all the extra layers of plastic they're wrapped in! The person who called this invention an environmental nightmare was correct! If you have to use disposable diapers, fine, but don't getDiaper Genie.

Figure out if you really need it!!
I received a diaper genie as a gift and it sounded great but we ended up not really needing it.We used all the time at first, then only for "stinkys" then quit using it altogether.For us it was just as easy to toss the diapers in the main house trash.We live in the boonies and have to take our garbage to the dump so house trash goes to the barn pretty much daily.Once your baby is mobile, you're probably not going to keep it in their room, my guys figured out how to knock it over and open it, not only gross but dangerous since there are some sharp cutting edges any averagely resourceful kid can get at.The other thing to consider, if you are even remotely environmentally concious, this thing is an environmental nightmare, not only are you encasing the dirty diapers in extra plastic, you then need another bag for the diaper "sausage".Essentially the diapers get wrapped in extra plastic twice.

Why keep diapers so long?
Any diaper system will stink if you don't empty it. This one works great. If you are worried about the smell, you're probably not cleaning it out in a timely manner. Who wants to keep dirty diapers in their baby's room for two days?

Great!
Our son is only two weeks old and the Genie is worth its weight in gold! It's easy to use and the refills last a long time (for now). There is no smell and it is very easy to empty. Although it's a little tough to operate (push button and lift lid) with one hand, it is possible. Most of the time one handed operation is not necessary because we have the Genie very close to the changing table. I cant imagine the smell or hassle that would be involved with doing it any other way.

We love the Diaper Genie!I seriously don't know what we would do without it.It is really easy once you get the hang of it.There is no smell outside of the unit, the inside can get king of stinky.Just be sure to spray the inside of the genie with Lysol everytime you empty it.That way the inside won't smell.I would recommend this product to anyone with a baby or toddler.

Holes
I purchased 2 of these sheets, one in ecru and one in white.Both of them had small holes in them right out of the package.More have appeared after several uses and several runs through the washing machine.Kind of like the tiny holes that start appearing in t-shirts after they've been worn over and over again.They are nice and soft, but they need to make them a little thicker to stand up to the wear and tear.

Knit Crib Sheet is Much Heavier
I bought three crib sheets, only the yellow one was knit.I didn't really pay attention to the make up of the sheet, as much as I did the color.After receiving the sheets, the knit one was $1.00 more, and twice as thick, definitely worth the upgrade. The cotton sheets (..) are quite thin, and wrinkle terrible.They are the same quality you would find at Wal-Mart.Not a bad price, but not high quality either.

Cute and soft but not holding up
I love the whirligig set but these blankets aren't holding up well. They are really cute, great colors and are very soft but the seam on the edge of one is tearing away. I have had this problem with some other flannel receiving blankets... so I guess these aren't any worse than most. The blanket is still useable but I had to trim off the edge so my son didn't get tangled in it. Now the one side can fray but it seems to be ok for now. My son is 6 months old and they have had light to moderate use. I use them mostly in my diaper bag.

Very Nice
These blankets are very cute. Since i live in Texas, the flannel material makes me more assured that my baby wont get too hot at night, in the humid summers. Looks great with the crib set.

Don't wast your money...
This set sounds like a good idea, but it has never worked for me!My son has taken a pacifier since he was a week old, but he hates this one!The surface is too flat and hard, he will never keep it in his mouth.I have never been able to get the display to work properly, it only displays partial numbers.I have always used a rectal reading for him (Safety First 10 Second Safety thermometer is GREAT!!!!).

the concept is good, but not if your child doesn't take a pacifier.my daughter sucked her thumb so I thought maybe this would work (so I wouldn't have to take it rectally) but she kept spitting it out and sucking her thumb instead. so I just gave up on it.My doctor wouldn't accept this reading anyway so it was a waste of money.(for me anyway.

Not Accurate!!!!!
I purchased this product for the convenience.Although it is easy to use, it is very inaccurate.On more than one occasion, I have received different readings.The last time I used it on my 10 year old, it read 98.7.I then took his temp with a traditional oral thermometer and he had a fever of 103.3!!!!! I would not recommend this thermometer to anyone.It is simply not accurate enough where your child's health is at stake.

It works great and DOES fit in an infants ear...
I have 1month old twins, when Lily was 12 days and only 6lbs big she developed a fever.She is obviously small and the themometor fit fine...you dont have to push it way in for it to work.I was unsure too of how accurate it was...she had a fever of 100.7 and had to go into the hospital..at the hospital she had the exact same temp 100.7 so it was just as accurate as what they use in the ER.I was very happy to find that out( not that she was sick ofcourse..horrible experience) and that it is reliable.I would tell anyone to buy this item!

Great Stroller!!!!!!!!!
I bought this stroller for my daughter(2), she loves it as much as I do, loves it so much she just wants to sit all the time when we are out. Her feet don't touch the front wheels (she can on my inglesina swift). It is easy to open and fold, and the carry handle is a plus. I have no complaint over the hood yet, but if I thought I needed more sun coverage I would purchase an umbrella to attach to it. It doesn't have a cup holder and I don't think it is an accessory(not on the Maclaren website) so I bought a universal cup holder and it works well, so far. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is due to the basket, it is almost useless, I wish Maclaren would improve on it, overall it is a great stroller, I don't have to bend to low when I close it because the it just locks in place and yes you can do it with one hand and one foot.

Great stroller....
My son just turned 11 months and so far I have had an Eddie Bauer stroller and 2 Chicco Ponee strollers. The Chicco's were great but I needed something smaller and easy to carry on the public bus in NYC. I found The Maclaren Quest to be fabulous, but the storage basket is too small and very hard to access, specially if the baby is reclined. Not only that if you are going shopping and you are the type to hang the bags to the stroller, that would be a no, no specially if you have a small child on the stroller (the stroller will tilt back). And since the basket is almost not existent, is really hard to go shopping with this stroller. But overall is a great stroller if you are trying to travel in a city like New York, it would not take much space on the bus, and you might not even need help getting on and off the bus.

Wonderful, wonderful stoller
Let me introduce myself to you as a stroller-holic.I love strollers.When I'm at the mall, I notice strollers first, people second.I get stroller-envy when I see someone with a new, unique stroller with more bells and whistles than mine.In the last 5 years, I own/owned 6 strollers--Century Travel System, Graco LiteRider, Baby Trend umbrella, BabyJogger Twinkle, Combi Savvy, and a Graco Breeze Travel System.After the birth of my second child and more stroller envy, it was time for me to buy another stroller--twist my arm.I did my research from asking other moms at the mall with "oooh and ahhh" strollers to asking baby stores which was the most popular model to going online and consulting a message board for other stroller-holic moms.

I was torn between a Peg Perego and the Maclaren.The Peg's may be the Cadillac of strollers, but the Maclarens are the Porsche of strollers.They are slick!I strongly feel that driving a stroller is like driving a car!You want comfort, style and value for yourself AND your passenger.The Maclaren line of strollers may be more expensive, but they are absolutely worth it!I decided to go for the Quest which is the medium model of their line.

The harness system is a 5 point harness system--very secure and easy to get your child in and out of.You can change it to a 3 point harness by locking the top strollers to these hooks in the seat when the child is older.

The steering...wow!Maclarens are known for their unbelievably wonderful steering and smooth maneuverability.This stroller can turn on a dime while you're holding a latte in one hand and steering with the other.

Folding and unfolding of this stroller is pretty easy.You can easily open it by unlocking a side clip with one hand and then stepping on a small pad in the back.Voila, comfy buggy for baby.Closing basically entails pushing up with your foot on the back, stepping a tiny lever on the side, push forward--almost exactly like other umbrella strollers. Super easy.

Reclining seat includes 4 positions.The farthest recline position is about 140 degrees.To recline the seat, you click both sides to the desired position.This movement is very smooth and doesn't disturb sleeping babies.

The Quest's frame is lightweight and not bulky at all.The stroller feels very solid vs. wobbly.The seating is well-padded and removable for washing.Maclaren's are great for short and especially tall people with long strides--feet do not touch the wheels when pushing!You can hang stuff from the handles, but don't overdo it as it could tip over when you take the baby out.

Portability...this stroller is definitelyportable--lightweigt, carry handle on the side, easily fits in the trunk of even a midsize sedan.

Comfortable for my 1 year-old baby passenger, and comfortable for me--the driver.The foam grip handles are high enough for my 6'3" husband and comfortable enough for me (I'm 5'3").

The only negatives about this stroller include the following: the Quest is pricey, the sunhood does not give the best sun protection, and no cupholder for mom's latte.In the end, the pros outweighed the negatives, and I am so glad that I spent the money to buy this stroller.I think this is a wonderful stroller, and I'm so happy that we bought this. ... Child almost hung himself
I bought this child for my son, who is now a toddler.Like the other toddlers, he quickly learned how to get the tray off.While I was washing dishes, he kicked the tray off and tried to climb down off of the chair.His shirt got caught on the leg seperator under the tray, and he started to scream because he was being hung by his shirt.The seatbelts didn't keep him in for long because he wiggled out of them.Parents beware!Do not leave your child for even a minute in this chair!!!

Best High Chair Ever!!!
This high chair was for my second child, so I've already tried many others. It is a great value. Very sturdy, cushion is easy to clean, it's easy to operate and it grows with your baby. It can tip back pretty far so even if they aren't quite sitting up yet it can still be used.If I ever needed another this would be my only choice, even better than the Peg-Perego.

great if you like to clean up messes
The first few months of having this high chair I thought it was the greatest thing. Compact for storing away and easy to clean. But my daughter figured out at 1 that she could use her foot to kick off the tray. So now when she is done she kicks off the tray with food flying all over the place. The one hand release on the tray is very convenient to use but it is to easy for a toddler to figure out . Save yourself the frustration from cleaning up and look else where. Better than the bouncers
Having three children I decided to go with the walker. We never used one before because it was never recommend by Dr's. This center is the best. It has stoppers so don't fear your little one can't move. Pull them out and you can push them from room to room with you with the handy holder in the back. The baby loves it and I think it's great. Also, Mom's who have taller babies this one lasts longer than the average bouncer;seems it adjusts higher than the others.

great walker
My son is 6 months old and he loves this walker.He will sit int it and play by himself for at least 30 minutes.

I really like the three tabs that come down to make the walker stationary.They really work and the walker doesn't move even on the linoleum in my kitchen.Also, while the walker doesn't fold like many of the other walkers on the market, it easily comes apart and goes back together.We took it on a trip to my mother's and it was no hassle at all.I also like that the toy panel comes off to reveal a plain base that I can add my own toys to if my son ever gets tired of the toy that comes with the walker.

The only reason I did not give this walker 5 stars is that periodically one of the buttons on the toy panel just quits working.All of the others continue to work, though, so it's really not a big deal.

Watch your feet!

Great for a baby who loves to kick!
My brother got this for us as shower gift.It has been indispensible!My daughter figured out pretty quickly how to make the music play, and has been mesmerized by it ever since!Now that she is almost three months old, she is starting to kick the toys that hang down, too.It's a really nice way to put her down while I cook or clean, but not have to put her directly on the floor (we have ceramic tile in our kitchen).It's small enough, too, to take places so that she has something to do at grandma's, ect.Between this and the Musical Garden Activity Mat, she is a happy, active baby!

I can't say enough about this bouncer.I have a 6 month old son that is still enjoying this seat.He can get it bouncing so good and just loves to be in it.It cradles him just right and I never worry about him falling out or off.He has been in it all 6 months and I don't know what I would do without it. Front wheels don't work properly
I purchased the volvo as a second stroller and love it.The only problem I am having is the front wheels don't all touch the ground and are sometimes hard to manage when turning.

Mom to 5 FINALLY finds the perfect umbrella stroller!
After five babies, I've gone through a ton of strollers, in search of the best (travel systems, umbrellas, joggers, doubles...) and this sleek little stroller is hands down, the best umbrella stroller on the market!It is the fourth (and last) umbrella that I'll ever buy.I've tried the cheapo $20.00 model, the flat folding lightweight stroller and finally the $50.00+ sporty umbrella model, and found them all lacking in various aspects.This is the stroller to buy after the baby gets old enough that you don't need to use your travel system all the time, and believe me, your back will thank you!It is extremely lightweight, has high enough handles, is easy to maneuver, holds a few little store bags, latches itself when you fold it, folds compactly, and is VERY durable.I wish I had just spent the higher bucks in the first place instead of trying all the lesser models, I would have saved alot of money in the long run!

One of the best on the market
We bouught this stroller when my daughter was 1 and 1/2. For this age or older kid this is the best thing on the market. It's very, very lightweight, very easy to carry around or pull behind you, if you don't use it at the moment. The mesh plastic fabric never gets dirty, can be easily wiped, and is the greatest for toddler "accidents":). It also lets the air through, which is good for summer. Even though the stroller does not recline, I assure you my daughter took long naps in its deep seat and felt comfy enough.
