1-0 out of 5 stars the WORST experience ever with ordering
I ordered two copies of this subscrition to find that I am recieving one and the other is lost in space, even though I have paid for it. the newpaper company amazon order through can't find it and Amazon refuses to deal with it, just saying they have passed the order on. The magazine themselves have never heard of me either; even though I ALREADY PAID for it.
NEVER EVER us this system for ordering magazines it is just not worth it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Get your kids to read!
Iordered this as a birthday gift for my 8yr old nephew who loves to both play and watch sports. Now he grabs the issue as soon as it arrives and runs to his room to read it and get his new trading cards. Each issue also comes with a small poster in the middle that can be hung in their room or locker. It appears to have the same or similar articles as the "adult" version but no swimsuit issue and otherwise edited for the younger set.He has already asked me to renew the subscription for his next birthday. This is a great way to get your kids reading which will also help improve their writing as well as other skills needed in school (and life).
If your child loves sports I highly recommend investing in a subscription - well worth the $20!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great magazine for kids
I've been reading this with my six year old son for several months now. It's a great way to get in some pleasurable reading, and start forming a reading habit, with a child who likes sports.

There are a number of standard sections, and nice short articles in kid-friendly language. Each month they have an insert with some playing cards which he looks forward to.And they'll interview a player about a specific skill -- how to steal a base, how to play defense in basketball, etc.

I recommend it both for the fun/sports content, and also for the educational benefit of starting the reading habit. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars We keep renewing!
This is a great magazine for preschool/early elementary kids.We have renewed it twice and enjoy watching our son learn more with each issue. The editors do a great job of publishing intersting and unique facts about many different kids of animals.

1-0 out of 5 stars RIP OFF!!!!
I ordered a subscription for my step-son and a gift for a niece at the same time. They took my money and both of the ONE-YEAR subscriptions I paid for only resulted in ONE ISSUE to each child.I couldn't get any more information on the magazine, as we never received any more informaiton until I got an e-mail from Amazon asking me to renew.

I noticed another recent post with the same problem. The magazine was really great, and my step-son and niece both waited and waited for their next issue which never showed.

How disappointing.I wouldn't take the chance if I were you.

5-0 out of 5 stars We Love It and The Company Solved Our Subscription Problem
My son has loved this magazine and is in his third year as a subscriber. He loves getting an interesting magazine in the mail each month.I love that it has good emergent reader level content this is focused so that different bits of content throughout the magazine reinforce the same concepts. My son especially loves the mini-books that come in each magazine and we generally have to make those as soon as they come.

As an educator, I love that the content is at the right level and that it is actually educational in contrast to some magazines. This magazine is reasonably priced and still has NO advertising.I am so thankful that the publishers have made that decision and I will keep subscribing to this until it is time to move up to Ranger Rick.

I did have to sort out a problem with the publisher because we had recieved two gift subscriptions.I called and they were able to make the two subscriptions run back to back, so instead of two magazines each month, we have two years of subscription and they assure me that whenever it is time to move to Ranger Rick, we can apply any unused Big Backyard to the Ranger Rick subscription. They were very polite to me and solved my problem efficiently. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Helped Foster My Love and Respect for Animals
    (...)

Living in the country as I did, I saw plenty wild animals in my backyard (squirrels, raccoons, possums..), but armed with Ranger Rick, I was able to appreciate and see them up close with out being bit, scratched, mauled, or hauled off to the emergency room for rabies shots!

Besides the wonderful animal features, there were projects, games, and activities to keep me and my brother busy. The concepts put forth in each issue emphasized recycling, kindness to animals, and conservation -- values and beliefs I carry with me almost 30 years after the fact.

So whether you live on a farm, the suburbs, or the city, Ranger Rick would be a wonderful gift for your child. It will help foster a life long love and respect for animals, as well as reinforce key values (conservation, recycling, etc.).A few things have changed over the past 30 years, but Ranger Rick is still consistantly a good magazine.

2-0 out of 5 stars Ranger Rots!

1-0 out of 5 stars I'm going to say it again
The previous reviews have said it all...but it can't hurt to say it again...this magazine is a waste...it is filled with jokes, ads and animals frequently dressed up in silly outfits.SO SO SO disappointing because I am a huge National Geographic fan.For those who want a good quality magazine for their children, subscribe to ASK Magazine.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty cool
If you want a magazine that has a lot of interesting articles this is the magazine for you. It has some things that come in all the issues like (lame) jokes and a bunch of facts. It also has some news stories and most issues try to get you to watch something exciting on the National Geographic Channel. Mostly this is a decent kids magazine with nothing bad or inappropriat but actually manages to still be quite fun to read ... Read more

    3-0 out of 5 stars *Um,I'm 12.It's okay but....*
...It can be weak. About 1\4 of the magazine is ads, and the other is crude humor. I'm mean Ilike jokes and all, but there is way too much! Since I'm getting older, I'm reading GL,Teen,Discovery Girls, and AG. But I like this mag. It has it's uppoints: Celeb Chats, weird facts, a calendar for what's happening that month. It also tells when new nick shows are, which is cool. It's more for 8-11 range but I like it. But I'm probably gonna stop getting it soon.I seriously hoped I helped, and this mag is great for kids. Thanks, and bye!

I love this horse magazine so much!I love the quizzes, great posters and great acticles about real people and their horse/pony.I take riding lessons but don't own a horse but still enjoy this magazine! This is a great magazine for kids ages 7-13 i think. Some people say that people over the age of 10 are too old for this magazine, but I toatally disagree!I am 11 years old and I love this magazine. This magazine I think is for any good horse lover!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Fantastic Magazine
Last fall, I picked up an issue of "Discovery Girls" at Kroger. After skimming a few pages, I decided that it was worth a try, and asked my mom if she would buy it for me.I read through the entire magazine in one night, and enjoyed it very much!I bought a couple more issues after that until I finally decided that I just needed to get a subscription.I ordered at an off-time, so I ended up having to wait a couple months until I got my first issue. But boy, was it worth it!You can just imagine my excitement when I came home from playing outside and found an issue of "Discovery Girls" waiting for me!

Contained in each "Discovery Girls" magazine are:

    - Information about this issue's real life "Discovery Girls".If you find that the "Discovery Girls" company is coming to your state soon, and you are between the age of eight and twelve, you could be one, too!"Discovery Girls" get to have fun and hang out together, model for pictures that will be featured in the magazine, possibly try out a new product, and spend a day at someplace fun, ranging from a salon to "Build-A-Bear Workshop".Two girls are chosen to be cover models.

    - Articles giving helpful advice about things such as friendship, jealousy, getting along with siblings, and more.Unlike most magazines, "Discovery Girls" actually gives GOOD advice that will really help you with your problems. And besides the longer articles, there is also a section called "Ask Ali", where you can send in a letter to "Ali", and possibly receive an answer in a later issue.

    - Plenty of room for you to speak, whether it be sharing advice with fellow readers, telling an embarassing moment, voicing your opinion about a certain topic, telling a fictional story, sharing something shocking that really happened to you, or asking questions and giving ideas to the editors.

    - Lots of cool quizzes! Some are just for fun, but others can teach you a little bit about yourself. For example, featured in the most recent issue are the quizzes: "Are You a Drama Queen?", "Case Closed!" (Are you too quick to judge people?), "Which Star Could Be Your BFF?", and "What's Your Trollz Style?" ("Trollz" is a product). They are entertaining, nicely-illustrated quizzes that you will be giving to your friends.

    - Sports advice.A new sport is featured each issue. Some past ones have been basketball, softball, track, and I think volleyball.I personally never read the sports advice, since dance is the only sport that I am involved in at the moment. But if "dance" is ever mentioned, I'll read every little word and detail!

    - Celebrity pages.Want to know more about a celebrity?Maybe find out just how much you already know about them?Celebrity pages (ranging from quizzes involving them to interviews) are featured frequently in "Discovery Girls".

    - Craft ideas, one or two comics, occasionally something along the lines of a word search, and more, meaning more fun!The crafts are unique, too! They're not all just "scissors and paper" crafts. One in particular was REALLY cute!It was making cute snack-size treats for your mom on Mother's Day.

    - Opportunities to learn more about other countries and cultures. In each issue, one girl from each country is interviewed, tells a little about her life, what she likes to eat, what music she listens to, and some other things, and then there are facts such as "things that make that country unique", and "the traditional way to dress in that country".This month's country was India!

    - Chances to win cool stuff, and advertisements for new books, movies, toys, clothes, and much more. There are also website names featured in certain areas, so that girls who love to surf the web and do online shopping will never get bored.

If that doesn't convince you that "Discovery Girls" is a great magazine, then it isn't the magazine for you.But I love it, and I can't wait to get my next issue!

    Notes to parents:

A new issue of "Discovery Girls" comes every two months.

Some slightly older-girl content is featured in certain issues (such as "Which Bra is Right for You?").So be aware that bras and boys ARE talked about occasionally. But also be aware that there is no profanity, crude language, or anything else of the sort.

1-0 out of 5 stars PERFECT For 8-11 year olds
I'm 13 and i think that this magazine is the "grown-up" version of American Girl but is still too babyish and boring for preteens, so 12-15 year olds try Girl's Life,it's sooooo much bettter!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars SAVE OUR TWEENS
I would like to applaud you on your magazine's target audience. There were no magazines for girls my age when I was a pre-teen.I'm glad that you addressed the ongoing problem of mean girls and girls growing up too fast.I recently submitted an article on both of those subjects to my writing work shop, and it was well received. Please let me know if it would be all right to mail you a sample of my writing. Because I remember what it was like to be a child, I think that I can share some valuable ideas with young readers.Angela Tanzi ... Read more

THE KID LOVES THE MAGAZINE TO DEATH
THE BEST PART OF THIS MAGAZINE IS THERE ARE
NO ADS. SO THE KIDS STAY FOCUS ON THE ARTICLE OF THE MAGAZINE
THERE ARE SO MANY TOPICS THAT THEY HAVE.
I'M GLAD I FOUND THE BACK ISSUES.
    GREAT LEARNING TOOL FOR KIDS
    GREAT FOR PROJECTS AND HOMEWORK
EVENIF I DID NOT HAVE A HOOK UP WITH THE ISSUES
I WOULD STILL BUY THIS MAGAZINE FOR KIDS
THE MAGAZINE IS ABOUT 20 PAGES LONG

5-0 out of 5 stars one of the best educational mag's I've found
I bought this for my children and was surprised to find my husband and myself reading it as well. Not only did it come in handy for homework, but the old issues have been saved and used in projects, papers, homework and even by the teachers! I have five children, so they have had alot of exposure to diffirent age levels and have always proven usful. Some of the teachers were excited because this subscription was one that they wished that they could get every year as part of their class materials.
As an added point, while on vacation, we have spotted the back issues on sale in gift shops for as much as four ninety nine $4.99. These were issues that contained stories about the particular historic event, etc that they thought informative enough to sale.
You can't go wrong with this one!!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Kid's don't fake it. You know if they like it.
My four year old grand daughter likes to spend time with books and magazines. She choses this one frequently from the pile available to her.
Her favorite [...] mothergoosecaboose and this magazine gives it a run for the money.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good short stories and activities
This magazine is expensive, but each issue contains several stories, activities like mazes, finding hidden items, and basic colors and counting. My son does not watch TV (his choice), but he likes the characters in this magazine, who are all friendly and likable to him.

I also recommend subscribing to the mediocre Parenting magazine, only because it includes an issue of Sesame Street magazine with every subscription-issue. Sesame Street magazine is better than Preschool Playroom because it has a much broader selection of information (includes animals, geography, and multi-cultural lessons) presented in a style that preschoolers enjoy. Just leave the Parenting magazine in the waiting room at the pediatrician's office. ... Read more

Odette, Swan Lake's enchanting and enchanted princess, has never looked less like a water fowl. According to the story, Odetteis spitefully turned into a swan, but here Odette is all-girl from her tiara-topped curls down through her ballet slippers. Her gown, designed with a nod to the famous ballet, is the prettiest a doll could own. It's pink and blue with several sheer layers of skirt and feathery tendrils of fabric that adorn the waist. Barbie also has an ornate, corseted bodice and jeweled choker, but the real showstopper is undoubtedly the glittering plastic wings that light up and flap when the two buttons on the doll's back are pressed. --Diane Beall ... I purchased this doll when it first came out but wasn't quick enough to get the Fairy Queen...
She is a very nice doll although her hair gets really messy since it's in that little ponytail. Her wings don't really stay up but oh well. I also got the outfits of when she's the baker's daughter and when she has supper with Daniel but the former is too tight and it ripped so she can't wear it :(

Overall tho, I reccomend (sp?) this doll.

    Thanx for reading

Love Barbie-Odette is a very beautiful one, but the wings have rather pointy tips on them and a 3 year old may poke an eye or hurt themselves on them another way. The crown is flimsy and it broke in half and is still attached to its head. My daughters love them despite it all.

Barbie of Swan Lake: Lila Unicorn and Carriage

    Toy

US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France

    Editorial Review

A noble purple unicorn with glittery blue mane and tail pulls a spectacular pink and blue carriage bedecked with decorative swans: what could be more fairy-tale-ish? Add Barbie and Ken (or other figures--dolls not included), and the Swan Lake story becomes positively romantic in the hands of Barbie fans. Based on the video, Barbie of Swan Lake, Lila the Unicorn and her carriage can set the stage for hours of imaginative play. The carriage really moves, and girls can play with the shiny locks of Lila with the brush and barrettes included. Lila stands 10 inches tall and 10 inches long; she and the carriage are made of hard plastic. "Girly-girls" will go nuts over Lila! --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

My daughter loves this toy which she received for her 3rd birthday. She loves the unicorn with it's sparkly hair and the beautiful carraige. All the reins don't reach all teh way to Barbie's hands she doesn't seem to mind - she uses the carriage with all her favourite things - Barbie, Kelly dolls and even Little People get a ride around in the carriage.

I am constantly having to fix the carriage back onto the harness of the saddle but it's a minor thing and doesn't stop my daughter having loads of fun with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars I ABSOLUTLYLOVE IT!
Iam 11 years old and I got the Lila Unicorn and Carriage for christmas, from my mom. I ABSOLUTLY LOVE IT! I think it is a great toy. I have many hours of fun playing with it. I also recevied the swan lake barbie, and the swan lake ken doll which makes it even more fun. The only complaints I have is the harness doesn't stay on very well. Also the reins are not long enough for barbie, or ken to sit all the way back and drive. But other than that I absolutly love this toy! I think the horse, and carriage itself are very beautiful. I love Lila's sparkly hair. Thanks for making a great toy, and a beautiful fun line of Swan Lake Barbie toys. Thanks again!

3-0 out of 5 stars Cute, but impossible
Who in the world designed this product? The flaws are countless, and unnecessary.I recommended this to my daughter's grandparents for x-mas since my daughter is "Barbie-crazy" and loves anything related to Swan Lake.It is a very cute toy and looks like lots of fun, but is very difficult to play with, even for adults. The unicorn doesn't stand up due to two of the legs being bent. The harness doesn't stay attached to the saddle and continually falls off (I may put a little velcro on it to hold it on place). The reins are too short for a doll to hold if sitting back in the carriage. The horseshoes don't stay on, and are really not needed.with all of these problems, it is very hard to play with and frustrating for my daughter, and any adult who is trying to help her. This toy cannot be used as intended. All of this being said, the parts themselves seem to be well made and the carriage rolls great, if only it could be pushed/pulled by the unicorn w/out everything falling off and unicorn tipping over.I think it is a very cute idea, but needs more work.Since my daughter loves Barbie so much, we will find a way for her to play w/this toy. I would not recommend this toy to any non-Barbie fan unless these flaws are corrected. As we tried to get things straight on x-mas day w/this toy, we couldn't help but wonder just how many other little girls (and parents) were spending thier x-mas fighting w/this unicorn. ... Neopets Voice Activated Pets: Scorchio

    Toy (05 March, 2003)

    Editorial Review

Back in the days of knights in shining armor, dragons didn't have hard orange-plastic bodies with yellow bellies, nor did they have soft plastic wings--as this modern Neopet counterpart does--but back then dragons also weren't known for being all that agreeable, whereas Scorchio is downright endearing. He hums and dances and spins in tight circles, flapping his wings and wiggling his arms and cackling in an almost sinister fashion. Two red lights, located where Scorchio's nostrils are, blink in different patterns to show his mood. The instructions claim that he ranges from happy to content to not so happy. During our informal test, irate barrages did little to upset Scorchio, but much coaxing changed his mood from content to happy, complete with its corresponding giggle. Scorchio liked to be picked up most of all. (A sensor on the bottom lets him know when he leaves terra firma.) Also, when one gets tired of playing with Scorchio alone, he can be let loose on another Neopet. Scorchio is best suited for kids from 5 to 9 years old--but an adult will need to coax him out of the box--several screws keep him firmly in place. Scorchio also requires two alkaline N batteries (included). --David Morel ... Read more

I simply love Neopets. I got both a Scorchio and a Mynci for my b-day. I just love the way the Scorchio walks around in little circles and how the Mynci nods it's head and how they both talk to each other! It's so cute! I'd recommend these, the card game, and the Pocket Neopets. So, you should buy one of these and watch your child play with them for hours and minutes!

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect For Schorchio or Neopet Lovers!
I got this for my sixteenth birthday just recently, from my mother, since she knows how much of a Neopet Addict I am! I absolutely thrilled to death with my new pet dragon! I named him Fire Breather, the exact same name as my online Neopet, except without all of the numbers and underscores. Fire Breather makes the cutest sounds ever, and the best part about him is when his wings flap. It's hilarious, because if you say in a nice, quiet voice: "Fire Breather, your such a terrible Schorchio. I hate you so much!" he'll giggle. And if you say in a rough, loud voice: "Your the nicest dragon I've ever met!" he'll say, "No way!" So, you have to use a nice tone of voice or he won't be happy! ... Read more

    Editorial Review

This microcosm of Neopets is a portable world for your pocket. Meridell, the land of heroes and legends that was long hidden within Neopia has now been uncovered and is delightfully rendered here in miniature. The pocket Neopet world folds up into a small gold colored pod that you can take anywhere. Open up the case and you can play with your three Neopets: Lupe, Draik, and Lxi. Name them, choose their personalities and preferences, and then proceed to play with, feed, and generally care for them. The sensors in the electronic ports they sit in know which pet you're playing with. There are six games you can play on the small LCD screen with four toggle buttons--they aren't the most engaging games, but winning them scores you points you'll need to buy food and toys for your pet. If you don't give your pet everything it needs, it will run away. Of course, you can always reprogram it to come back to you. There are three little slots to tuck the pets neatly into when you close up the case and hit the road. --Megan Sullivan ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Mystery Island neopets
This review is supposed to be for Meridell:pocket neopet, but I have a Mystery Island pocket neopet. I like it a lot becuase I love kougras and Mystery island. I think you should buy this toy because it teaches kids responsibility. And it has four of the best neopets games. one of the four is a slots game. Anyway, I think that all of them would be a great toy.

    sincerly,

I have a Aisha and the kacheek, my Aisha is already 4 days old! and while playing in the Lost Desert, it found 2,000 NP on the ground! I now have at least 20,000 NP of hard work, I feed mine two times a day, and gave it a petpet, but somehow the petpet was gone the last time I checked :(, but at least my pet hasn't died! I love this toy, if you have a pet and love it and like to spoil it, but can't take it everywhere with you, get a pocket neopet! I'm in Middle school, I'm an 8th grader and I take my pet to school everyday, I'm 14 years old and have been playing neopets for about 2 years (almost) if other people say when you leave it on when you sleep and it runs away, that's so not true, I leave mine on all night and it turns off by itself but the clock keeps going, I my pet, it's one of the best pocket pet I could ever ask for! I love this pet, neopets rocks! [...] I stongly recommend this toy, it'll be fun! I'm working on keeping my pet alive for 365 days (1 year)! If you love neopets and you'd like to take care of them 24/7, then you can! Buy a pocket neopet today!

    Editorial Review

For kids who aren't quite ready for their first real live pet, a Neopet may just fit the bill. These plush interactive dolls respond to the sound of their owner's voice with sounds, movements, and lights. Speaking to Uni, this unicorn Neopet, produces happy chattering, and whinnying and makes her body vibrate and lights flash in his cheeks. Raised voices cause Uni to give a more subdued response such as, "I don't feel too well. Let's play a game," or a startled reaction such as "That was quite loud!" Uni answers any yes-or-no question he is asked and has 50 different sayings altogether, including expressions such as "Can you brush my mane?" and "Yay! I'm so happy!" Uni also recognizes and interacts with all other Interactive Talking Neopets and Petpets and talks to them with 30 bonus sayings when they're nearby. This stuffed unicorn operates via three AAA batteries and makes a great first pet for young children to love and care for. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT STUFFED INTERACTIVE TOY!
This toy is better for girls than boys if you have a boy I recommend the purple shoyru (looks like a dragon), it's the same as this toy. The high price reflects it's popularity. Because of the online virtual community;"neopets", that this toy is from. If you have girls of any age, and they like white horses or unicorns they will love this toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars injoy
this toy is a very injoyable toy to play with. it is fun when the uni talks to other neopets. most of my friends have been looking for one but everywhere they go there is none to be found. so if they just made more of them i would be so greatful.
    Thankyou

i bought one of the uni and one of the gift packs with Kacheek and angelpuss for my girls ages 6 and 3. They played with them for one day before we could not get the velcro where the batteries go to stay closed (I plan on returning them for something else)...not to mention that they repeat themselves over and over my husband and I were tired of them within an hour. They are cute but so are many other plush toys out there that are a better buy for your money!!! ... Read more

    Editorial Review

Although it looks like it could house any number of missiles, lasers, or other weapons, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Disk Launcher is meant strictly for card-based combat. Which isn't to say that the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game isn't exciting; it's phenomenal popularity can attest to that. This accessory, worn on the arm and modeled after the kind used by characters on the Yu-Gi-Oh! television show lets players lay cards out in either attack or defense positions and also features magic and trap card slots. It also features an illuminated number display and a disk that moves into a new dueling position at the push of a button. Perhaps not an ideal introduction to the world of Yu-Gi-Oh!, but probably a must-have item for the legion of faithful fans. Game sold separately as are the three button cell batteries that are required. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Cool And Sweet, But Not Sure To Use It
I love this toy, I'm Just Not Sure to use protectors or this, I need advice. DESPRETELY! It's very good over all but the bad things are: 1. Can't use cases,
    2. God Cards peel, lose names, backs, need tape
    3. Cards mess up
    Good things 4. Judgement, Teasing,
    1. Easer Duels
    2. Better Shuffling
    3. Less cards in your deck
But I would recommend it to every duelist, I go to books-A-million and use it with a kid named Tod and he has original I have Chaos and original but the first one broke on the 3rd day so for chirstmas I got the 2nd and I'll use it tomorrow at the Duelist League at books a million.

1-0 out of 5 stars Meh.
I don't really think that this toy is good because all it basically does is just hold your cards and keep track of your lifepoints.I don't know why you would get a toy that destroys your cards little by little (it bends the edges).I can use a calculator or keep track in my head for the lifepoints.I could also play the cards anywhere, as long as I have card sleeves to protect them.Basically what I'm saying is, this toy is useless, but I do have to admit, it does make dueling look decent, but I wish it could actually make holograms. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars BAD! DON'T BUY!
I got one of these tins and it didn't come with the varient card, which was Dark Magician.I got terrible rares, like Giant Soldier of Stone, Princess of Tsurugi, Toon Mermaid, Appropriate, and no rare in LON surprisingly.Plus, it is overpriced.Go buy a 2004 tin instead.I'm sad what I got.

5-0 out of 5 stars Not Bad at All !!
These tins are a very good buy!In the tin, you get, 1 variant card (shown on the front), and 5 booster packs (Ledgend of Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Metal Raiders, Pharaoh's Servant, Magic Ruler, and Labyrinth of Nightmare). In a tin, you usually get 1 Super Rare card, or 1 Ultra Rare card. But, if you are lucky, you sometimes get 2 Ultra Rare cards, or 1 Secret Rare card!If you were to buy one of these, I highly suggest buying a Jinzo Tin.Jinzo's effect is As long as this card remains face up on the field, the effects of all Trap cards cannot be activated. The effects of face up Trap cards are also negated.Pretty cool effect, huh?Well that was my reveiw, I hope it helped you decide which tin to buy.

i have bought many yugioh appliances but i can honestly say i like the bewd tins the best.i have bought 3 2002 edition tins and 4 2003 eddition tins.In these tins i have got many rares, super rares, ultra rares,and,2 secret rares. These tins are extremly helpfull when it comes to strenghthening a yugioh dueling deck.when it comes to me i dont only like to by the tins i by other yugioh packs, toys, and dvd's.I personaly recomend the linzo or buster blader tin. Some of the best cards i have got from the yugioh tins are LOB's mystical elf MRD's spellbinding cicrle PSV's secret rare imperial order's, and LOB's secret rare tri horned dragon. If you would like to know any more about the yugioh tins or any other cards i got from the tins.(...) ... 1-0 out of 5 stars bad
this game is supposed to be about dueling, that is what yugioh is about.in this game you barely duel, because after you beat a person they go away untill you turn off your gba and then turn it back on,so you do not have alot of people to deul. But it does have good graphics.

3-0 out of 5 stars Yu-Gi-Oh - The Sacred Cards GBA
This game is pretty much easy for me anyway because I could beat this game every day and win the entire game with in 3 HOURS with the help of 1 extra item and its called the GAME SHARK its a machine its not a game that allows you to beat any VIDEO Game Depending on the game system for example the Game Shark for GAME BOY ADAVNCE it will only work on GAMEBOY ADVANCE games and the SP system as well when you use the GAME SHARK on The Sacred Cards you don't need to use very low attack power and Defense power u could win any body with in 1-6 turns
    bacause you get the following:

    DECK CAPACIRTY : 9,999
    DUELIST LEVEL : 9,999
MONEY/DOMINO : 999999 well something like that but its 9's.

And you can automatically use HIGH ATTACK POWER like DARK ELF with an attack strength of 2000 DEF 0800 very high. Well I will talk back A.S.A.P on another GAME REVIEW.

2-0 out of 5 stars Goes Nowhere
At first this game is loads of fun, battling and building strength and special attacks. You start as Yugi, battling in the Falsebound Kingdom, a computer generated game. If you beat the first round, then you have the option as playing as Seto Kaiba. If you beat that round, you then have the option to play as Joey. However, after that, the game goes nowhere. there is no ending. You just keep playing. There's just no point. Don't waste your money. Unless you found it at a garage sale for 5 bucks. Then it might be worth it.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best Yugioh games
This game is lots of fun! I rented it at Hollywood Video and thought it would be dumb like Duelists of the Roses. But it turned out to be great!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game, Could have some different music once in a while
This game kicks (...). The only problem I have with this game is trying to unlock Joey. But other then that its fun and never gets boring at all. Walk around and protect your barricks from oppoising forces is way to much fun. This game really makes you think for once. LOL. It has the same music from Forbidden Memeries and some of the people off it are on it to. Some of the monsters that fuse togeter in the TCG dont work on here. But its a great game (I think) and I hope you people out there in the world go and play it and hope you will injoy this game as much as I did. ... Read more
