Great for Toddlers
I got this for my 2 1/2 year old son. He has no problems riding or controlling it since it has two wheels on the back for stability. He rides fast, turns and does tricks. When we take the scooter to the park all of the other kids want to ride it too. The wheels are solid and ride smoothly, not mention they look cool! I was very impressed with how light weight it is. He can lift it into our minivan by himself. The only thing I wish is it had a little bag on the handle bars like the girl's version does. The little plastic plate on the front of this one falls off all of the time, so we just keep it off.

A hit with our four kids ages 2,3,4 & 6
I was skeptical when my husband asked me to purchase this scooter, and I actually went to the toy store to look at it.It appeared well built, and after watching my four oldest kids ride it for two days straight, I was glad I listened to him.One of our kids will grab this scooter the minute another one gets off of it.The two back wheels offer a good amount of stability, and my two year old is even able to handle herself on it.This was the hit of the day, and we are going to end up purchasing another one.It is so fun for them, they are having a difficult time at sharing!

Barbie Scooter
We purchased this scooter for my 2 year old daughter at Christmas time.She used it in the house for about 4 months, now that we are outside, she enjoy's it even more.Perfect for ages 2-5.All the kids want to ride on it.

Great Buy
This gift was given to my then 3 1/2 year old daughter from 'Santa'.That Christmas day the poor thing did not get a moment of rest.She was so amazed that she could ride a scooter and the fact that it was a Barbie scooter was just icing on the cake.I was a bit worried about my tile flooring but when I saw the rubber wheels they were all put to rest.The extra balance of the back wheels gave her a lot of confidence especially when she went riding with the bigger kids.Durability is great.A few of the much bigger children have taken rides on it and it has definately stood up to the test.Now, my 2 year old son has taken a liking to it.Wouldn't it be great if a 'Ken' scooter was made? ... Handle bars too low
My daughter is 5 years old. I bought her the scooter for Christmas. She was very excited. One problem the handle bar is too low. What should I do? I can't take it back because she would be very upset. The other scooters are too big. This one is appropriate for her age. Please give advise.

Nice scooter
Bought this for my 5 year old daughter and she loves it. It rides nice and she can get some good speed on it.

I didn't have any problems assembling it. Not sure why others are complaining about it.

If your kid loves Barbie and wants a scooter this would be a great buy.

Lots of fun...Happy 6 yr. old!!
My daughter has been very happy with this Barbie Scooter which she received for her 6th B-day several months ago.The tires are a bit wider than a scooter for an older child, which is helpful to her in learning to balance on it. We did not put the training wheels on.I'm curious to see how well the tires hold up.The material they are made of (A foam/plastic type of material) doesn't seem like it would be very durable, but so far, so good!
The bike was assembled when we purchased it, so I cannot make any comments on assembly.

Excellent toy for TODDLERS
I'm a mother of two girls one 6 and a half and one two and a half. Originally I bought this for my older daughter who was 4 at the time she just loves princess everything so this toy was perfect. But now my 2 year old thinks it's hers. She rides it around so well. She is very petite for her age and this toy still accomidates her well. This toy was so worth the money both of my daughters love it. The little basket in the front is so useful. This is definitely the toy for those little girls who love the disney princesses, I actually just bought the 12 inch princess bike for my 2 year old to match the scooter!

we had our concerns about the scooter but my 3 year old got it down in a couple of time,great scooters,she loves the lights on the sides.Good stable scooter.Remember to wear pads and a helmet...

Fun but missing some important accessories
This scooter seems really durable and will probably last a long time.My son liked playing with it, until his sister got her princess scooter and he would now rather play with that.Her scooter has a basket, a padded handlebar, and best of all a bell!Hers also came with knee and elbow pads.This scooter is great, but now that we know about the others out there, this one is definately lacking!I guess we are going to have to shop for a bell for his scooter...

Buying another one!
My three-year-old niece loves her scooter so much that I'm buying one for my friend's four-year-old son.

12" Radio Flyer Classic Red Scooter
This scooter is like a miniature "Hummer." And it would be a great toy for my 4-year old son if he was riding through rough terrain or a battlefield. The toy is heavy, clumbsy, and not well not well-built. It was anything but fun and my 4-year old son quickly lost interest in it; I had to purchase another one. (My son was told that Santa made a mistake, and boy did I!) The Radio Flyercompany makes great wagons and they, in my opinion, should stick to that market. They've totally missed the scooter market.

My kids love this scooter!
This is a great scooter for children 2-6!It was easy to assemble and even my two year old could ride it.This scooter taught them how to balance.I would definetly buy another one for a friend!

My daughter loves this toy!!
My daughter received this at three and at five it is still her favorite ride-on toy.It is really cute and sturdy.She loves the kitty and the basket on the front to put her stuffed animals in.I would highly recommend it.It was easy to assemble too.

Son's favorite Christmas gift!
We got a boy version of this same scooter for our son who was 2 months short of three years old. His older brothers (9 and 11) have razor scooters and he loved being "just like them." Whenever the big kids are out scootering, Will is right with them on his Friendly scooter. He even does tricks on it (lifting a leg, squatting down) It is so sturdy and nicely balanced. I have heard horror stories about other "pre-school scooters" which kiddos would fall off of and get hurt on the handle bar. This was, by far, his most favorite, well used Christmas gift! Almost a year later and he still uses it almost every day. We have wood floors and he even does it in the house! This will go down as one of those gifts we ALL have fond memories of. ... Read more

It's a decent first scooter for the under 5 set!
My only complaint is how LOUD the wheels are as it goes! (picture the rear tires from a "Big Wheel" bike--wide and grooved)My son is scooting ahead of me and he can't hear me shout to him, which I think is dangerous if a car were coming and he's veering toward the center of the road (no sidewalks here, but pretty calm subdivision).He became very good at balancing almost right away, so the extra wide wheels are helpful, but those grooves make for a noisy ride!

Get Ready Set Go!
My three year old son just received his first scooter for his Birthday. He just loves it. It's sturdy and colorful. He can ride with his older brother and be apart of the group. I would recommend this to any little boy or girl three or older. It's easy to control for there age.

Be prepared to "Rock" and Roll

Wheels don't roll well
This scooter was not nearly as durable as I expected it to be.After my wife backed over it in our Suburban, the wheels would barely turn and our daughter hardly played with it again.I would not recommend this scooter to anyone who parks in their own driveway.

3 yr old can't get enough!
My 3 yr old son has this scooter and really can't get enough of it. He would see all the other older kids in our neighborhood with scooters and ask for one. When I saw this one I knew it would be great for him to start off with,and I was right ! The wheels are nice and chunky as is the board. Easy for little beginner feet to handle. Tho I admit the handle is too flexible and I fear that he will break it; my overall review is that this toy allows little ones to feel like big the kids ! I love it !!
