    Editorial Review

There's lots to see, hear, and do with this toy that willfoster the developmental skills of a toddler. When little ones push oneof the five plastic balls through the hole at the top of this tower, lights flash and music plays. From there the ball travels down a spiralpath all the way to the bottom--unless your toddler chooses to redirectit with the dial on the side of the ramp. Some babies will simply enjoywatching the ball swirl down the ramp. But as babies get a bitolder, they will also be able to observe and anticipate the actionof the balls and realize that their actions have an effect onwhere the balls go. How cool is that? For a toddler, very cool! Onedrawback to this toy is that it probably isn't sturdy enough or heavyenough for babies or toddlers to use it to pull themselves from asitting to a standing position, though the "Pull-up" portion of thename implies that's possible. There's plenty more to do with this toy,so that is only a minor consideration. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great visually; Terrible in safety
My daughter, who is 10 months, really likes this toy for the sights and sounds and the balls. However, she has fallen over WAY too many times. When she tries to pull herself up, she uses it to help her and sometimes it tips over. Or when she's already up, she'll lean her weight on it and it will move forward away from her.

I don't believe the base is sturdy enough!

3-0 out of 5 stars Mixed feelings about this toy.
My son loved this toy from the time he had it.He got it for his first birthday, and he is now 3 & 1/2 and still looks for this toy to play with.My problem with it, is that the top red ring never stays on.It's constantly falling off, and I am so sick and tired of putting it back together every five minutes!I finally hid it in the basement, even though my son loves it so much.I have twin infants at home and just do not have the time to keep putting this back together!I do think it would easily tip over on a child using it to "pull up".Although, my son was already walking by the time he got this toy, and so he didn't use it in that fashion.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun toy for baby
I thought this was great toy for my twin girls. It is interactive and it holds their attention for quite awhile. My only "beef"with this toy is that it can be prone to tipping over. My girls haven't had any spills as of yet (knock on wood) but I can see where there is potential for a few. I think this toy will be a favorite for awhile with them and if anything the plastic balls that come with it are certainly entertaining for them. ... Read more

This bright red and blue slide is one of those backyard investments that children will incorporate into their play for years on end. The small four-step hike up to the top (36 inches high) makes it safe for toddlers, but the 60-inch-long slide will keep kids as old as 5 well entertained. A slight dip in the slide controls speed while adding a playful tummy-tickle feeling. Even after they turn 5 years old, children will probably find ways to use the slide in obstacle-course play and chase games. Because it's made of thick plastic, it can stay outdoors season after season without fading, rusting, or splintering. --Gail Hudson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Durable and lots of fun
For two years this slide has been a great hit with my now two year old.She goes down the slide head first and feet first.I bring inside on rainy days for inside fun and outside at other times. Can beat the fold up for storage capability and it is not too big to bring inside like I said before. No problem putting this slide together. When my daughter first got this at 1 1/2 I had to sometimes help her get up the stairs but she mastered this in no time.

3-0 out of 5 stars Come on Little Tikes...fix these assembly issues
Once together, slide was great...but come on now, Little Tikes -- what is the matter with you guys?Whoever invented their "hammer this pole into the metal clamp caps" approach should be fired ASAP.I've noticed they use this on other toys as well...It's extremely difficult to hammer those on (at least with other toys the pole piece was metal, which could actually bend the metal clamps... this one was plastic)...

I nearly returned it just on principle...only the eager eyes of my son saved it.He loves it now, but I don't plan on buying any more toys from Little Tikes without validating it does not use this assembly method.

5-0 out of 5 stars My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves it!!!!!!!!!!!!
We picked it up today and my Husband assembled it in 22 minutes. My Daughter loves it. It's really strong and sturdy. My 15 month old is a little young to go up the stairs by himself but he too loves going down the slide with my assistance. I'm glad we bought it. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

Help yourself to another delicious serving of The Wiggles, this timewith zesty international flavor. From Down Under romps the creative Aussiequartet, Greg, Murray, Anthony, and Jeff, to host an energetic song and dancerevue. They showcase music from around the globe in Wiggly, Wiggly World,a performance of 16 musical numbers ranging from nonsensical knee-slappers ("SixMonths in a Leaky Boat") to melodic ballads ("Starry Night"). Sharing thespotlight is a menagerie of colorful characters, including Dorothy the Dinosaurand Henry the Octopus, that twist and tap in well-choreographed dances like"Blow Me Down" and "Pirate Dancing." Notable singers lend their talents, such asAustralian country music legend Slim Dusty, yet nothing beats watching the fabfoursome enjoy sheer zaniness to elicit giggles and wiggles from young viewers. If adults find it corny, kids will find it captivating, precisely the reason forthe show's broad appeal. 4-0 out of 5 stars Very nice video, a definite turn from their regular videos
We just received this video and we just love it! It's a little different from the rest of the Wiggles videos, and it has more of a "country" flavor. Meaning, a good portion of the songs sound like they came from Nashville. That's not a bad thing because we really like it, but it is just different from the Wiggles other videos. Greg has a nice voice for country music too and I think he's realized that since he has released a regular country album.

Anyway, this video was done as if they're in their Wiggly World (the Wiggles shows on Playhouse Disney), complete with the bumble bee in the beginning. They do a song on an animated train that is worth the cost of the video itself. It is just adorable! I've been asked to put this video in time after time and well, it's not worn out yet but I'm wondering if I should have purchased the DVD! Highly recommend!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Wiggles are Colorful Boys.
Wiggles World is a magic place in the music video movie.Greg, Murray, Jeff and Anthony are four colorful boys who love to make me smile, laugh and best of all...interact with them.

One of my favorite songs in (Wiggly, Wiggly World) is "In The Wiggles World", "Here Come The Wiggles" and "Sing With Me" which features Kamal. But my most favorite song of all is, "One Little Cyote".

5-0 out of 5 stars It's a Wiggly, Wiggly World!!!
This is a terrific video for the whole family, and once you've watched it several times, the tunes begin to take on a life of their own in your memory, and then you might start humming them as you go through your day.

There's a lot to be said for this video. The music, dancing, special guests, and the graphics, which present the Wiggles in their own little "neighborhood," with the likes of Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, the Wiggly Dancers (who are actually many of the younger children now grown up, and who do a marvelous job in the ensemble chorus as pirates.)Some memorable songs come from the guests like Slim Dusty, and other celebrities in Australia.I liked the song "Blow Me Down," and "It's a Wiggly World."

A great video for all Wiggles fans!!! ... Read more

    Editorial Review

While there are many tapes designed to stimulate a baby's mind,Brainy Baby is unique in addressing left and right brain functions indistinct programs. Called "whole brain thinking," the theory is that if childrenare stimulated to use both sides of the brain--preparing them to think logically and creatively--they will become more adept at learning and problem solving. Capitalizing on this research, the folks at Small Fry Productions (makers of Bilingual Baby) have produced a two-volume set to develop the whole brain. Volume one helps stimulate the right brain, which research shows is the center for creativity, intuition, and imagination. To engage such processes, the program uses imagery (such as ink blots and clouds transforming into familiar objects), color recognition (by way of deliciously gooey paint), and patterns (from nesting shapes to 3-D objects). Unlike the So Smart! approach, there is enthusiastic narration during the 32-minute program and more variation between segments. Employing the so-called Mozart effect, the program utilizes classical music (believed to enhance a child's spatial intelligence) from impressionist era composers Debussy, Chopin, and Tchaikovsky. Whether or not a parent is interested in the push to "develop a child's creative side for a smarter baby" (as the film's literature espouses), there is another compelling reason to consider the Brainy Baby series: pure enjoyment. Parents will get a kick out of watching their toddlers respond to the visual feast before them. And the accompanying classical melodies make it palatable for parents too. 5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent learning tool
Wow, what an excellent DVD! Since the first time we put it on for our 20 months old daughter, she has been hooked to it. This is an excellent DVD for kids starting from 6 months. Lots and lots of color and classical music keep the kid busy constantly. The combination of colors, objects and music greatly enhances their ability to think and relate to everyday things. I highly recommend this to all parents. My wife found out about this while searching for Baby Einstein DVD.

5-0 out of 5 stars Brainy Baby Right Brain
My son has grown up on Baby Einstein and was captivated by them but now that he is 22 months old and talking he prefers the the Brainy Baby Right Brain over any of his Baby Einstein. He will sit and watch most of this video which is a feat for him because he is very active.I have just ordered 2 more of the Brainy Baby videos from Amazon and hope they are as enjoyable as Right Brain.

5-0 out of 5 stars ALL CHILDREN ARE DIFFERENT
While many people are bashing this video, I seem to have no problem with it. Teaching your baby is the best thing that a parent can do. I only look to the TV as entertainment for my children, not as a babysitter or a teacher. I believe that is the problem with most people complaining that the video doesn't keep their children entertained while they do housework etc. Others complain that the voice is annoying it all depends on who is listening to it, it is not for adults it is for children. I own a large daycare, and I have had parents lend me their videos for my "movie time Fridays", and I have found that different children respond to different things. Children who are less hyper tend to keep their attention focused than their hyperactive counterparts. I believe that this video is a great buy for certain types of children, if you think that your child is a child who would like what is shown on this video then purchase it. A good way to find out about the video before you buy it is to rent it from you local library if there is a program like that in your city. Otherwise read the ratings, because unlike bad carseats, video responses vary from child to child. As far as it not being Baby Einstein, uh, duh, I think anyone who looks at the cover could see that. 4-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful toy!! BUT..I'd say for at least 2 yr olds and up.
My 3 yr old loves this doll house now. BUT....She didn't play with it right away. We got this & the discovery city when she was around 18-24mos.... Now that she is into roll playing an using her imagination much more it has become a favorite. There isn't a day she doesn't play with it! SO much so....(smile) As for my younger daughter she is 17mos and doesn't seem to interested. She'll carry the people around with her & play with the cars from other sets but as for the house I think AGAIN it's for older children.

2-0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money on this doll house!
My daughter played with this only a couple of times. I think it would be alot more appealing to children if it made sounds.

I bought this for my daughter's 1st birthday and she started out just loving to hold the people, now she is almost 2 1/2 and she plays with it every day, acting out situations (I hear her making th mommy talk to the baby and saying the same things I say to her..lol) She loves to put them in bed, have them go in and out of the doors, sit on the potty, wash their hands etc...I know this toy is going to be a favorite of hers for quite a long time!Definately worth the money and now we have added lots of other little people things to go with it! My daughter was given this as a secondhand toy and it looks like it is brand new.She enjoyed looking at it and knocking it over as an infant and now at 2 she has mastered stacking the rings and knowing the hat has to go on last. The only problem is the smaller rings and hat can fit very easily in a child's mouth we have had to put the hat and the smaller rings away until she stopped putting them in her mouth.

4-0 out of 5 stars Simple is Often the Best
My 10 month old son loves this toy. At first, I figured he was too young for it, but he enjoys trying to get the pieces on and taking them off. He also likes to hold on to the circles by the center holes and clap them together. The pieces even hold up to his teething --the paint stays on, he cannot bite through the wood, etc.

5-0 out of 5 stars Old Time European Quality
My son, who is now 4, wasn't into this kind of toys and I thought it was just a waste of money, but his 18 months old brother was absolutly delighted when he found it in the closet. 3-0 out of 5 stars Soft, but not for long!
This was the softest blanket when we received it, but it did not stay soft after several washes. It still looks good, but is thinner than before.Based on the reviews, I was expecting more.We still use this blanket, but I was disappointed in how quickly the softness wore off.

5-0 out of 5 stars BEST BABY BLANKET EVER!!!!
This blanket is light enough for summer and warm enough for winter. My baby won't go to sleep without it, and gives it a HUGE smile every time he sees it. The blanket gets bigger smiles than I do. I've tried to give him a replacement blankie so I could wash this yellow one, but I had to give his blankie back because he just wouldn't go to sleep. I had to get another Wamsutta Microfiber Blanket so I always had one clean blanket to give him.

This very soft blanket, even after months of being dragged around, has held up with minimal wear (he used the corners to chew on when he was teething, and still chews on it now and then). The seams are very strong, and show no signs of unravelling, unlike those blankets with "tags".

This will be your and your baby's favorite blanket. Please buy 2 of them in the same color so you won't have to worry about your baby not sleeping without his/her blankie. My baby will only use the yellow one; even though the blue one feels the same, he was also attatched to the color. I promise this will be money well spent.

5-0 out of 5 stars A fun dinosaur book
This book is one that is frequently chosen to be read aloud in our house. My sons both love it.It would be great for anyone that loves dinosaurs, as there are all kinds. There are no official names for these dinosaurs, as it is just a simple book. There are many adjectives, and opposite words used to describe the different characteristics of the dinosaurs. It is great fun to "Roar" and "squeak" with one's voice when reading. My son, after reading, wanted to read it back to me, which I was thrilled about, as he is a beginner reader.I would highly recommend it on many levels, but above all, for the love of reading I see it bring about in children.

    4-0 out of 5 stars Dino-might
Ah.The perpetual love youngsters have for dinosaurs. It's one of those constants on which we can all rely.No matter what goes on in the world, whether it be floods, famines, or the everyday trials of ordinary life, one thing is for certain. As long as there are children and as long as books about dinosaurs exist, the two will be perpetually and inexplicably linked. Now I've actually not read that many really interesting dinosaur books in my day. There's the obligatory, "How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight?", by Jane Yolen and (of course) "Dinotopia", but for all the enjoyment these scaly reptiles engender, there are relatively few well-written preschool aged books about them.Enter "Dinosaur Roar!", stage right. The books admittedly fails to do some of the basic dinosaur book duties. It does not name each and every terrible lizard with its Latin moniker.Just the same, the book is a good early introduction into the world of reading.Kids interested in it will find themselves immersed in a dinosaur laden universe that fulfills all their dino-related needs. And adults will not be bored.Nuff said.

"Dinosaur Roar!" is best described as a book of dino opposites. In it, we see one dino doing one thing and a very different dino doing another. It begins with "Dinosaur roar, dinosaur squeak" and continues on another two pages with "dinosaur fierce, dinosaur meek".Different reptiles react in different ways.On some pages, sharp toothed gleeful fellows attempt to munch on their neighbors while on others, sweet faced tiny creatures flee, scurry, to do whatsoever the words on the page say.In the end, it all culminates with several pages worth of dinosaurs eating their favorite foods. The herbivores nosh on trees and leafy greens while the carnivores (for the sake of keeping the rating of this book a sweet G) gnaw on large white tendon-less bones as if they were just oversized dogs. The book shows a vast variety of different dinosaur species without skimping. It's an enjoyable thing to page through.Of course, the fact that none of these dinos are ever named really is a problem. If a child points to a picture of a feathered dinosaur and asks the parent what the name of it is, that adult may find themselves stumbling (was it aperdyterix or apordacturux or...?)."How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight?", solved this problem by surreptitiously placing the names of each and every animal somewhere on the page that featured them, giving both adults AND their children a good scientific lesson."Dinosaur Roar!"?Not so much.

Still, the pictures are pleasant to the eye.Paul Stickland uses a massive array of incredibly colorful watercolors to their greatest advantage here.Though the pictures do contain some elements of cartoons, they're also really lovely to look at.You have mucky greens, sly peach/purple/blues, pastels of pink and navy, and well-scaled oranges. Now the meateaters are a scary crew, true. But kids love that kind of stuff. As long as a book isn't showing a dinosaur literally tearing another one of its fellows into a bloody pulp then kids love the threat the massive t-rexes and velociraptors engender.

In the end, I probably would still recommend, "How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight?" over "Dinosaur Roar!", but there's no reason in the world why you shouldn't take a good long look at the both of them. For most parents, even the most sloppily written piece of trash starts to look good as long as it contains a dino or two. Here, we have a well-written book with amazing artwork and a great use of rhyming words. There's little to dislike about this book and a whole lot to love.Be sure to check it out today.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Classic That Stands the Test of Time
I first bought this book for my nephew who is now 17 years old and we loved it so much that I bought it for my baby before he was even born. It's smart and funny and I don't tire of reading it to my son over and over and over...In fact, we have it memorized and we'll recite it on car rides to help pass the time.

5-0 out of 5 stars No, No, That's All Wrong!
Shakespeare knew it, and parents and other adults know it:People love a comedy of errors. Perhaps the most delighted audience is the youngest; toddlers love hearing mistakes and correcting them. It's a surefire hit for their certain sense of humor, and Sandra Boynton exploits this beautifully in this small board book.

Just a few set-up lines and Boynton is ready for the book's main joke:

    "A cow says MOO."
    "A sheep says BAA."
"Three singing pigs say LA LA LA!"

"'No, no!' you say, 'that isn't right.
The pigs say OINK all day and night.'"

Practice your dramatic abilities and really ham it up (pun intended) when you read the singing pigs and "that isn't right" lines on pages 3 and 4. There's also some action (dogs chasing cats), and a nice quizzical conclusion: ("It's quiet now. What do you [underlined] say?")

Boynton's familiar style is whimsical and slightly tongue-in-cheek. Her animals have very expressive, human-looking emotions, conveyed mostly through the eyes. For example, a quacking duck and a neighing horse aren't intrinsically very interesting, but when they're facing each other with similarly baffled faces, there's a subtle humor. The singing pigs, by the way, are anything but subtle. They're pizzazed out in coordinating striped pants, solid sports coats, and elegant white bow ties. They excited pigs dance in unison and hold canes in a showy vaudeville style. For a short and simple board book aimed at the very young, this is lots of fun.For older toddlers, take a look at Boynton's counting book with a difference: "Hippos Go Berserk!"She knows and loves her animals, and so will your little one.

2-0 out of 5 stars Rhinoceroses snort and snuff! You got to be kidding me!
I read this book to my baby on and off and every time I trip at the big ol' Rhinoceroses! Come on Ms. Boynton, your readers can hardly say goo goo and moo moo why such a big word.
It could have been water buffalos or plane old "rhinos" or for that matter "big hippos"

    Editorial Review

Hat and boot in hand, a boy and a bear set off on a delicious and raucous romp through Berryland. They frolic in strawberry fields forever, rumble and ramble in blackberry brambles, and topple their canoeberry with blueberries. Silly rhymes and a musical beat practically beg to be read aloud, preferably accompanied by dancing. New readers will giggle as they follow the fruit-frenzied pals on their berry adventures. Jamberry builds quickly in intensity and complexity, starting with "One berry, Two berry, Pick me a blueberry," and working up to "Raspberry, Jazzberry, Razzmatazzberry, Berryband, Merryband, Jamming in Berryland." Children will love discovering the subtle touches in Bruce Degen's illustrations: a frog climbing out of a hat, crackers and butter instead of lily pads, and a sign by the raspberry skating rink imploring skaters not to pick the jelly rolls planted nearby. Every character seems giddy with well-fed joy in this veritable jamboree of flavorful fun. Jamberry is a book best enjoyed on a gloomy day with a dollop of vanilla ice cream. 5-0 out of 5 stars I cannot get this out of my head.
I have this memorized.I did a terrible thing the other day when my daughter brought the book over for me to read.I flipped through the pages telling the story without looking at the book and was reading something else.My one-year-old daughter noticed, and was upset. So, don't let this happen to you.The pictures are highly detailed, colorful and creative so much that I crave jelly and preserves all the time now.I recommend the boardbook for its ruggedness because you will be reading this story again and again and again and again....

5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!!
This is a must have book! The rhymes are real rhymes and not "almost rhymes".Both my husband and I have this book memorized ~ it was easy and quick.
When chaos is about to erupt, all we have to do is say. "One berry, two berry...".Our sons quiet down, we can get their attention very easily, and we get broad smiles to boot.
It is very soothing. As I am writing this, the poetry is ringing in my ears and it is not as annoying as a song in your head, it's actually quite pleasant.

Get this book for yourself or as a gift.It makes me eager for berry picking season!

5-0 out of 5 stars Moonberry, Zoomberry, Rockets Shoot By!!
WE LOVE THIS BOOK! I love reading it and our son loves listening to it! It was the first book that he really memorized - and he had it mostly memorized by age 2.5 years! It is the most requested bedtime story and it is easy for a sleepy adult to read and read quickly if you need to get to bed! The illustrations are so fun and we play an adapted version of "I Spy" with the beautiful pictures! BUY THIS BOOK! At age 3, our son is still enjoying it regularly! ... Read more

    Editorial Review

There must be hundreds of ABC books vying for a place on your baby's bookshelf, but probably none are quite as engaging as this small, sturdy volume. Each of the 26 pages features a single letter and is beautifully illustrated with crisp, colorful photographs in the signature DK style. A miniature version of DK's larger, bestselling ABC book, this board book is easy for little hands to hold and is virtually indestructible--teething babies can chew freely on its sturdy pages. In between bites, they'll learn that L stands for lion, ladybug, and lemon, and that xylophone is still the only word anyone can think of for X. (Baby to preschool) --Marianne Painter ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars a great early learning book
Each page of this board book has a different letter with photos of objects, the names of which start with the letter shown. The first page is A; the last page is Z.A has apples, abacus, ambulance, ant, acorns, avocado, apron, and airplane.B has boat, beans, beads, bowl, bread, butterfly, bear, belt, buttons, bananas, books and ball.Z has zero, zebra, and zipper. The objects are easily identified by the child because they are familiar and colorful. This book helps with early learning and language development. This book is appropriate for ages 1-5.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great book to start your baby and toddler learning ABC's
This series of board books are fantastic.

I started collecting these for my daughter after she was given one at 6 months and this is what we started to read to her every night. She woud sit and demand it to be read over and over and over again. The board pages and are easy for baby and toddler to turn and the pictures (real photography not illustrations) are wonderful.

The ABC book is simple to read to your baby and each letter has several items beginning with that letter.
If your looking for a great picture book to share with your baby this is the one (and the series of books) to buy.You can never have too many books to read with your children.

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't Put it Down
My 16 month old son was not interested in sitting long enough for me to read him a book -- until this one.Not that it is lengthly, but he wants to repeat it indefinitely and finds it HILARIOUS.Now he's bringing me books all day, but this is his favorite."Is Maisy in the boat?"I ask. "Naw!" he says, and laughs. The only problem is how to separate him from it.

4-0 out of 5 stars KIds Love These Lift the Flap Books
If you are the parent of a young child, you probably know who Maisy is. She's a mouse with a duck, a squirrel, an elephant, and a crocodile for friends. Why the crocodile isn't trying to eat the others is beyond me, but that's life in Maisy's world.

Both of my daughters love the Maisy books; there's something about their simple stories and colorful pictures that even appeals to adults. The books are short and easy to read. But, the stories are never obnoxiously simplistic, like so many other books for small children.

This is a lift the flap book in which the childen are lifting flaps in search of Maisy. They find all of her friends before finally locating Maisy. That sneaky little mouse; hiding at the end of the book. One caution, the kids might get a little aggressive with the flaps and tear a few, resulting in the purchase of a new lift the flap book.

5-0 out of 5 stars She loves it!
My 5 month old simply loves this books. She gets excited whenever we bring it out to read. It's almost like she's anticipating to see what's behind the flip cover. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't go wrong with Elmo!
My daughter, like most kids, is an Elmo FANATIC.This book is nice and big and durable. It keeps her occupied for a while and she also carries it around while she's watching Sesame Street or her Elmo videos!

5-0 out of 5 stars One of my daughter's favorites!
Ever since my daughter has been a few months old she has picked this book to read over many others that I have purchased for her.Now that she is 17 months old she still chooses this book to read time after time. This book is big and bright and very easy for little hands to handle.Highly recommended!

5-0 out of 5 stars My son's absolute favorite!!!
This book is wonderful!Grandma gave it to my son as a present when he was around two months old, and now at eight months it is still his absolute favorite. We cannot pass by the book without him "asking" (grunting and pointing) for it to be read.He has each of the pages memorized and knows what to expect next as we turn the pages together. The pages are large so they are fun for him to touch and handle. The illustrations are simple and bright and hold his attention for a long time.We read this book together every day and it truly makes my son happy.Highly recommended! ... Editorial Review

No one, child or adult, will be able to resist the charm of this Madeline Tea Set. The china cups bearing Madeline's smiling face are scaled down to a diminutive 1.5 inches in diameter, and the teapot itself is not much larger. Genevieve the dog, bedecked with a yellow bow, prances daintily across each of the saucers. Should anyone care for a tea-time snack, the set includes four complements of 3.5-inch utensils, checkered napkins for wiping away crumbs, and a tablecloth on which to dine. When tea time is over and the dishes have been washed, everything packs away neatly in a wicker case with handles and a metal clasp. Taking tea and a story with Madeline is the perfect way to spend any afternoon. Color and style may vary. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely darling...but not all styles shown!
My daughter is getting this for Christmas and hasn't seen in yet, but we know she'll love it.It's precious and I can see she'll have many many years of fun with this little set.Our only complaint was that we received a style that wasn't shown on Amazon. Two different styles were shown in the pictures, both of which we liked but we received yet another style. It's cute too, but we liked the other two better.Ours came with a flower on each cup and the plates with a monogrammed 'M' etc.Cute, but not what we really wanted. It would have been nice to have seen all the different styles and have been able to choose the one we liked best.

5-0 out of 5 stars FABULOUS
My daughter has just received this tea set as a birthday present from her aunt. She is only two but she loves this set.It is so precious.Yes its porcelain but it is thick.I have as much fun playing with it as she does. She enjoys the fact that she can carry it around because the basket has handles. This is a great toy and I hope that my daughter has it so that she can pass it on to her daughter, it's a timeless piece.
