5-0 out of 5 stars No Troubles Here
We have a Graco 3 in 1 convertible crib, and the bumper went all the way around. We washed the sheet, comforter, and bumper in Dreft on the delicate cycle and had no problems with it twisting or getting bunched up.Even put the bumper in the dryer.I haven't washed the skirt yet, but to get out the small wrinkles from shipping, just put it in the dryer with the rest of the set after the wash.It all came out beautifully. We have also gotten the valance and the lampshade. We are having a girl, so we put eyelet lace curtains under the valance and it is very pretty. We are very pleased with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Highly Recommend
When my husband and I registered, we did not know what we were having, so we thought this would be perfect (we now know we are having a boy.)I brought it home and washed it on cold with a small amount of Dreft.I also dried it in the drier on low heat.It came out PERFECT!!!!!We have a standard crib and the Carter's Sheets in Ecru work well, if you do not want to spend the [money] for an extra sheet. The ribbons are a little short, but I have heard the same of other sets from friends. We decided instead not to tie a bow but just loosely knot it.It looks wonderful and hopefully with care will last for the next baby as well.

4-0 out of 5 stars Love this pattern, but the set is far from perfect!
I love this plaid! It goes well with washed denim and especially with Carter's Ecru bedding.A few words of warning, though.....

1)As other reviewers have stated, the bumper doesn't go all the way around the crib. This actually worked out OK for us, though, because we put our son's mobile in the empty space (Tiny Love Symphony Mobile - also a great product).

2)The bumper ties are cute (grosgrain ribbon) but very short. It is difficult to tie them. They also aren't stiched in very tightly, so be carefulhow hard you tug.

3)The elastic on the striped sheet is very tight!Once you get the sheet on the mattress, it's very hard to get it off, especially if you have the bumper pad tied in.I use Carter's Ecru crib sheets instead; they're a great match!

4)If you want curtains to go with the set, try Country Curtains. They call this plaid "Berkshire" and they have alot of (expensive) choices. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Beware
Although I love this nursery set and the curtains were of good quality, I was very disappointed because I had to order 2 curtains to fit the double window in the baby's room and they sent me 2 curtains that did not match. They were the same type, but the pattern was different on them. This might not be bad if they were going on different windows or something, but right next to each other, it is very obvious. The other bad part is that there isn't a specific lot number or anything, so if I send one back, I can't be sure I'll get one that matches the one I keep. This would be easier to buy in the store, but my store doesn't carry them.Just wanted everyone to be aware of this so you don't run into the same problem.

5-0 out of 5 stars A beautiful and versatile pattern
I give this pattern "five stars" for it's fine quality fabric, pleasing colors, and versatility. The colors are soft and cozy, not gender-specific, and because it has so many colors, it goes with so many other things. We were able to choose more that one paint color. Also, the plaid pattern hides stains. Because it is a plaid, we are able to put off updating the room as our baby grows older. ... Read more

Blue Duallie Jogging Strol
Average Customer Review: 3.0 out of 5 stars
Baby Product

US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France

Editorial Review

This double-wide Duallie high-end stroller has a solid feel toit; it rolls along smoothly on three air-filled, 16-inch tires (withhigh-impact polymer wheel rims) that provide the foundation for itssturdy metal frame. Two shock absorbers, one mounted above each of therear wheels, are designed to absorb some of the rigors of the road andcan be adjusted for the size of your growing children. Along with aneasy-access hand brake, a nylon safety tether, and a five-pointharness, the stroller is equipped with some nice luxury features. Thestroller's sun canopy can be positioned at different angles dependingon the location of the sun and the double-wide padded seat can beadjusted for different recline angles--all designed to add to yourchildren's comfort while you squeeze in an early morning walk or run.The stroller is also loaded with storage pockets, including a largemesh and nylon cargo basket beneath the seat, a deep mesh pocket on theback of the seat, and two smaller mesh pockets on either side of theseat itself for keeping toys and bottles within reach. Folding nearlyflat when it is broken down, the stroller is surprisingly lightweightand very easy to assemble and disassemble. --Chris Burns ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Protect your children --beware of wheels popping off
While this stroller was too big to fit through our front door, in most stores, and in the trunk of our SUV without taking off the wheels, until recently we thought it was terrific off-road (after we purchased the fleece liners).BUT this week, while jogging in our neighborhood, the front wheel suddenly fell off, sending our 13 month old twins face-first into the pavement. We brought the stroller to the sports store where we purchased it (not Amazon) to see if our particular BOB was defective. The knowledgeable people there said the only explanation they could come up with was that the front wheel could have been on a little tighter.(My husband is a very careful engineer, and he had the wheel on quite securely.)But when they tried to show us exactly how tight the wheel should be, they could not get the wheel on.Do not endanger your children by using this stroller unless you have very powerful hands and can lock the wheel extraordinarily securely. Even so, you might think twice before jogging with it.

3-0 out of 5 stars I have a love/hate relationship with it
On the one hand, it is the smoothest, safest stroller I could find.

On the other hand, it is so darned gigantic that I cannot get it through my front door.I have to take off a wheel to get it on the porch, then put the girls in on the porch.

I have a Honda Civic, and I have to remove all three wheels to get it in the trunk.

EDITED TO ADD: I returned the Bob because it was so big. But within three weeks, I realized I needed it back and I bought it again. This stroller is amazing, and there is really nothing else like it if you want heavy duty cushioned rides.

I love our single Bob stroller, it is fabulous, and it gives such a smooth ride that dd goes for a ride in it every night to lull her to sleep. That's why we got the Duallie. But it is just too darned big. Even shaving an inch or two off the thing would make all the difference in the world.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this stroller more than my other three stroller!!!
We are a family of four (2-1/2 year old, a 7 month old, and a mommy and daddy).Mommy and Daddy love hiking (on trails and off), jogging/running (on trails and off).

Our family owns four strollers:
one of those lightweight, cheap umbrella strollers,
an Evenflo travel system,
a back-to-front "Jeep Wagoneer" Limited duo stroller,
and
this AWESOME BOB Duallie stroller.

After pushing the other three strollers, pushing the Duallie is like a dream!(The Evenflo is pretty good too.)This Mommy wishes the Duallie fit through public doors better though she could take it with her shopping and everywhere she goes, but it does not unfortunately. But if you are looking for a recreational stroller to take to parks, on trails, running, and to public places where you don't have to go in/out of doors often or where it's not too crowded, the DUALLIE is this Mommy's recommendation!

We purchased our Duallie before the second child was even on the way.We figured we'd have another close in age if we could, and even with one child riding in this stroller, it has done very well. We've taken it on trails and off.Our kids love it!The 7 month old takes naps in it too as it is so smooth.

We wish we had a newer model (got ours in 2001) because the newer models have a better sun canopy. At the time when we purchased ours, they also had some alignment problems. . .when you put the front tire on, you sometimes have to readjust it to get it to roll straight instead of veering a little to the left or right.

We ordered ours through a high-quality bike shop. . .and they only carried one other brand because they believe in only the BOB and Baby Jogger brands in the way of quality. If you are "hardcore" about exercising with your jogger, then you will want to go with a brand that is higher quality. If you just want to have a jogger because you think it's cool and you really don't plan on running or hiking with it, then you probably would do well to spend less money on a cheaper brand.

One other thing:double joggers like this particular one DO NOT turn like travel systems as they do not have "swivelling" front tires. You have to get used to pushing down a little on the handle (without tipping) to get the jogger to turn.Maybe that's what the other reviewer who mentioned the need for upper body strength was alluding too because this thing really is easy to push. . .

I love our BOB Duallie. ... Read more

Pump In Style W/battery
Average Customer Review: 4.5 out of 5 stars
Baby Product

US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France

Editorial Review

Pump in style, indeed. This classy and discreet set is a great choice for back-at-work moms who don't want every Tom, Dick, and Harriet to know that they are pumping between meetings. With features such as a battery pack, adjustable suction pressure, and variable five-speed (from 42 to 62 cycles per minute) control that mimics your nursing baby, this hospital-grade setup is as efficient as can be: it can pump a full 6-ounce bottle in 5 to 10 minutes. Pump in Style also allows for dual pumping (pumping both breasts simultaneously), a great timesaver for working moms in particular. Its automatic suck-release-relax cycling mimics your baby's natural nursing pattern (with no manual adjustments required like some other models). The carrying bag itself is also quite nice, with insulated compartments and freezable cooling packs for keeping bottles of breast milk cool for approximately four hours. The Pump in Style set includes a black shoulder bag; manual pump conversion kits; a double-pump accessory kit; an AC adapter; four freezer-, microwave-, dishwasher-safe bottles with lids; two bottle stands; 20 milk storage bags; three cooling packs; breastfeeding information sheets; and a sample of PureLan breast cream. The pump can be used with an electrical outlet with an AC adapter or optional power pack, and its durable motor is made to work overtime--four to five times daily. The whole shebang weighs as much as a newborn (7 pounds), but the quality is definitely worth the extra weight. --Melissa Wilson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great breast pump
I rented pump from the hospital and I really liked it.If I was going to keep breast feeding my child I would defiantly purchase this pump.It was quick and easy to use.It is great that it has multiple comfort and speed settings.

5-0 out of 5 stars Breastfeeding Twins
When I found out I was having twins, I knew I had been blessed. But I wanted to nurse them just as I did my daughter. But having two babys to breastfeed was going to be alot harder. But I knew I could do it! By having this pump it took some of the stress of nursing twins off of me, it was easy to use and very comfortable. They are now eight months old and I am still able to nurse them!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great breastpump!
I had my first child and did not have this breastpump. I had to stop breast feeding my child at 5 months because I travel for work and had to go back! There was no way I was using my other pump! Now I have 6 month old twins, working and still breast feeding! Thanks to this pump! It is great! I'm done pumping in 10 minutes! It is a must have!! ... Read more

Baby Bjorn - Standard Carrier - Tartan Navy
Average Customer Review: 4.5 out of 5 stars
Baby Product (18 November, 2003)
list price: $89.99
US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France

Editorial Review

A little more expensive than most other baby carriers, thisBaby Björn Carrier offers parents some wonderful design features thatmake it worth the extra money. By allowing you to hold your baby snuglyagainst your chest, the carrier promotes a sense of comfort andcloseness between a parent and a child. It also allows you to maintaineye contact with and talk to your little one during trips to the store, walks around the house, and short hikes. The carrier's other bigadvantage is that it frees up both your hands while you carry yourbaby. The navy blue carrier consists of a large triangular front piecethat supports baby's head and body, along with a set of thick paddedstraps that are worn like a shoulder-and-waist harness. Newborns andsmaller babies should always ride rear-facing in the carrier, whileolder babies who can hold their heads upright unassisted can rideforward-facing and enjoy the view ahead of them. Made of machine-washable, 100 percent cotton, the carrier can be easily adjusted fromthe front for your baby's size. Although the carrier has been testedfor use with babies who weigh from 8 to 25 pounds, some parents foundthat the carrier became uncomfortable to wear and placed a lot ofstrain on the lower back when it was used to carry a child weighingmore than 20 pounds. --Chris Burns ... 5-0 out of 5 stars What a Great Product
I got this carrier as a baby shower gift and it has been truly a great gift.I can use it anywhere and it is pretty simple to use.My son is now 4 mos and still fits comfortably in it.This is a "Must Have" item.It is kind of pricey, but worth the money since it has a 20 lb. capacity and won't just be a couple of months worth of uses.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love this carrier!
I can't say enough good things about this baby carrier. I received one as a shower gift for my second child (who's 2 1/2 now) and loved using it. It made shooping, especially the grocery store a breeze. My son loved being in it, too. I am using it for my now six week old daughter as well. It does take some practice getting used to putting baby in, but it became second nature to me.
As far as housework, I vacuum and load the washing machine while "wearing" my daughter, but not anything else...puts her too close to cleaning chemicals and/or dust. But it's great for walking the dog, getting the mail, taking a walk, etc. etc.
There was an earlier comment about having to bend at the knees all the time while using the Baby Bjorn. That's actually the proper form for your body to be in to pick something up so I don't see why there should be a problem with having to do that. Besides, you can turn all those knee bends into squats and help burn off that baby weight while you shop! Plus, I can't imagine keeping an infant in the car seat not only in the car, but in the store as well!
I didn't find it overly hot for baby, and I'm in South Florida! It's fairly lightweight, and what little extra warmth is great for the super strength air conditioning in the mall or grocery store.
If baby cannot see out while facing forward with the top folded down, than your carrier is adjusted incorrectly. This carrier is designed to last you a long, long time, from 8 lbs to 33 lbs! You just have to remember to let it "grow" with your baby.
Bottom line, the Baby Bjorn is worth the extra money - I always felt secure with my son in it and still do with my daughter. It is great for keeping baby super close to you and delivers on what it promises. Super product and a must have!

5-0 out of 5 stars Life Saver At the Grocery Store!!!!!! Must Have!!!
Baby Bjorn was a gift. I never thought I would use it.I used to go to the grocery store with my daughter in her car seat (she is 3 months). She would do nothing but cry!!I tried to carry her. That did not work and I did not feel she was safe with me pushing the cart and carrying her. I finally thought to use the Baby Bjorn Carrier. What a surprise. She loves it!!!I got to shop for all the things I needed at the grocery store!!She faces forward in it and loves to look around. She also falls asleep in it!It truly is a life saver!!! I thought I was never going to be able to leave the house without my daughter crying her head off!! Must Have!!!!!!!!! ... Read more

Editorial Review

With a full-size bassinet attachment and a snap-on toy bar with detachable toys, this Special Edition Bassinet from Graco offers more versatility than your typical playard. Another high-quality addition to Graco's line of Pack 'n' Plays, the playard is well made with a solid frame, four mesh sides, and a pushbutton foldup mechanism that makes setup and disassembly very smooth and easy. The bassinet attachment is very sturdy and easy to install: just slide the four broad clips over the sides of the assembled playard and you're ready to go. 4-0 out of 5 stars On my list of top 3 "must haves"
We originally registered for (and received) the Baby Trend Nursery Center and Playard LX, but I returned that one and bought this one instead. My reasoning was:

--The Baby Trend bassinet area is significantly smaller than the Animal Kingdom bassinet, which covers the entire length and width of the playard. This was especially important for us, as it turned out, because we had a large baby (9+ pounds at birth). He is very long now, and I'm confident that had we purchased the one with the smaller bassinet he would be pretty cramped by now.

--We preferred the mesh sides on the Animal Kingdom bassinett. The Baby Trend bassinet had padded sides, which made me worry about baby getting his little face stuck in there. With the mesh sides I didn't worry about that so much.

--The Animal Kingdom yard is VERY easy to assemble and take down for travel. The salesperson at the store also pointed out that there are 9 points on the Baby Trend yard that you need to lock/unlock for setup/takedown, but only 4 points on the Animal Kingdom yard.

--The Animal Kingdom yard is very strong and stable. The salesperson actually got into the yard and bounced up and down, saying, "I'm a 200 pound man, and look--it holds up!" ;)

Those were the reasons we chose it in the first place. The reason why I still like it is because we have already taken our son on two weekend trips with this pack N play, and he falls asleep in it like it was his own crib at home.

We also happen to use the bassinett area as a changing area. At first it was very hard on our backs (bending over so far to change), but once you build up your muscles it's not a problem (soreness went away for us).

It's a great product. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I wish it came with an actual removeable changing platform (so you don't have to bend over and change right in the bassinet area). I also wish that the toy bar had brighter, more interesting toys. Our son doesn't even give the toys a second glance because they are all blue and don't provide any interesting contrast for him.

5-0 out of 5 stars Graco Bassinet
We love this play yard/bassinet.It is perfect to take with you for a few hours or overnight somewhere. The fitted sheet is a must to make things even more comfy for baby. Can not reccomend highly enough!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Product
I love this playpen. It is easy to assemble, has a great pattern, and nice features. It took just a couple of minutes to put together.I really enjoy the Animal Kingdom theme. We have the stroller and carseat, swing, highchair, playpen, and diaper bags. There is also a baby carrier with the same little giraffe on it.If I didn't already have a carrier, I would buy it.Graco makes quality products. This playpen is even nicer than some of the more expensive ones because it has a full bassinet feature. Most of the other ones only offer a bassinet half the length of the playpen. The animals that come with it are very cute.My daughter really enjoys them and tries to grab at them.It is nice to have such a large area for her to be so safe in, other than the crib and without having to put her on the floor on blankets. She is still to young for that. This is by far one of my favorite baby gear items. ... French Bear Bassinet

Editorial Review

Lightweight yet surprisingly stable, this French Bear bedside bassinet offers a convenient alternative to a traditional bassinet.Once assembled, the bassinet moves around smoothly on four plastic casters, two of which have flip-down locks so you can secure the bassinet in one position. A wide 30-inch base and a metal-and-plastic frame provide a sturdy foundation, and all of the components inside and around the sleeping area are nicely padded for comfort and safety. The bedside bassinet's canopy is permanently attached and comes with a row of hanging toys. All of the included bedding can be removed for easy laundering. 4-0 out of 5 stars Nice product
It took me 6, yes six, hours to put this thing together.I was eight months pregnant and was too impatient to wait for my fiance to help.A few screws were giving me a hard time and would not go in properly.
We used it as a bed side sleeper at first. Our baby lasted two weeks in it.Those two weeks were fine. Then one night we gave her a taste of our bed. (doh) Fours months later she left our bed and went to the crib.We then used the bassinet as a changing table. It went downstairs in our living room and was soo convenient. The legs were tall enough so i didn't have to break my back to change her.The canopy would distract her with the hanging toys when she would start to toss and turn during a changing.

5-0 out of 5 stars Glad we decided to get a bassinet
At first we decided to go the more economical route of using the bassinet that came with the pack and play as our "bassinet".After we brought our son home from the hospital.....we quickly realized that it was not practical to do this. The pack and play would not fit through the doorway to roll to another room.I had to, instead, take the bassinet out and carry it to another room and find a place to put it.After having a c-section... doing this was a little annoying. We decided to go to the baby store and buy a bassinet.

I liked this one because
1.it was narrow enough to fit through our doorways and I could wheel it around from the bedroom to the living room or kitchen or bathroom.
2.had the capabliities to either rock or stay stationary
3.had a neutral pattern for a boy or girl
4.washed up nicely
5.was easy enough to put together and take apart to store away for the next baby

I would recommend this bassinet to other parents!!Granted it doesn't have all of the bells and whistles (music and vibration), but we were very pleased with our purchase!!!:)

5-0 out of 5 stars great bassinet
I really regret not buying this earlier!I borrowed a bassinet for my first child & she never slept in it-preferring to co-sleep with my husband & I.So, when I was expecting our 2nd, I initially set out to buy a co-sleeper.They are expensive! But, after much deliberation & research, I bought this instead, as it has the co-sleeper option. My son slept so well in it that we never needed to use it for anything other than a bassinet. We finally moved him to a crib because he reached the weight limit. My third child is now 3 months old & sleeping so well in it too.I have the regular sized bassinet downstairs & initially put him in it for naps-he won't sleep at all in that now, I think it's too small. The fact that this is bigger is a big plus, especially if, like me, you have big babies.I found the rocking motion was great too, although my son is in such a good routine now, that I no longer use it.The storage basket is very roomy & the detachable pocket is handy for diapers etc.Well, well worth the money, probably one of the best investments we've made!If it came in white eyelet it would be even better, but I happily gave that up for a good nights sleep!! ... Green Cooshie Booster

Baby Product

Editorial Review

The Cooshie Booster is a second cousin to those hard-plasticbooster seats provided in restaurants. The chief advantage of theCooshie is its semisoft foam construction: firm enough for support, but both lightweight and comfortable. It's also short in the back (3inches of seat padding plus 3 inches of back makes it 6 inches high);this is something of a compromise between portability and back support.Overall dimensions are 13 inches deep by 6 inches high by 14 incheswide; that's a little bulky to drag around to restaurants, perhaps, butideal for making use of big-people chairs at home. Another advantageover the hard-plastic booster: the stippled foam won't slide around ona wooden chair. A not-very-durable tote bag is included. --RichardFarr ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars cooshie booster
If you are looking for a booster that is durable, comfortable, non-slip without the use of straps, nice width to fit your child as they grow, and easy to clean...this is the booster for you.I have used this booster for over one year maybe even two (can't remember for sure) however, it is amazingly durable.Because of the foam, I thought it would tear but not yet...even after my second came along it has withstood minor tug of wars with both kids wanting it.It cleans up great and grips our wooden bench well--(and there are not many if any boosters made for bench seats). For added grip just wipe the bottom of the seat with a damp cloth. For additional entertainment, my 1 year old loves to watch tv sitting on the living floor in it --- just the right height for those little legs (my first enjoyed tv watching with it as well - even at 2 years of age).It really does grip the chair better than most booster without using any straps...the other booster was such a food collector and such a pain to clean and strap back on.This is a very comfortable seat and it always looks clean (we have the green one).I love it so much I'm looking for a new one for my 1 1/2 year old (my 4 year old is not willing to give her seat up yet and I expect she will use it for a few more years just for the height and comfort).Green is a little hard to find...good luck..I highly recommend it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awsome Seat!
I love this seat! I bought our first one for my 2 year old (she is now 4 and still uses it!). It's lightweight, stays put in the chair with NO slipping, and is easy to clean up!
I am now buying our second for my 1 year old! He loves his sister's so much we figured it was time for his own. He not only enjoy's eating in it, "he" carries it into the family room and sits to watch his movies in it!
This is an all around great booster seat! I highly recommend it to everyone!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Don't stop at age 4 if you don't want to!
We've had one for several years; it's comfortable, easy to clean, and the kids all love it.Surprisingly, after all that time and daily use, it also hasn't cracked at all--but we don't take ours traveling; it stays in the kitchen. Our son is now 7, and refuses to give his up, because it's so much softer than our wood kitchen chairs.(Although a couple of people mentioned that it marred the finish on their chairs, ours have gone several years with no problems at all.)Of the three kinds of boosters we've used extensively, this is the kids' favorite. We'll be buying more for our daughters soon! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Now you Can take your baby out into the Elements year round
We bought the Nano bags last winter for our boys. We thought we would just use them during the winter time in the infant carriers, we were wrong.

They are not the easiest bags to find. We bought 2 at Babies R Us and then ordered the third on Amazon.com. We have triplet boys and wanted one of each color. I did not want the yellow. If you find one and you want one, do not walk away. Buy now and do not regret later.

We were at a baby fair last year and there was a company selling a similar item at a cheaper price. It was the same but the material and construction were not.

There are other bags out there that are similar but not the same. The Nano bag is the only one that I found had a weather resistant outer layer. There is another one out there that is all cotton material and just absorbs the rain and elements. The Nano bag repels the elements.

Very easy to clean, Just stick in the wash. I put it in the dryer on a low cycle. Have never had an issue.

In the back of the bag there is 2 horizontal openings, one on top and one on bottom. Then there is 2 zippered opening in the middle. There is a zipper down the front. The opening in the back so that you can bring straps through and seat belt your child in.

We original left them always strapped into the infant carriers and then we would put the child in. Now that they are out of the Infant carriers we have put them in their stroller. We are now talking about getting the toddler size for their booster car seats.

They are great for those winter walks. I had my babies in February and by March I was walking around the neighborhood. They were bundled up in their Nano bags and only there rosy cheeks showed.

These bags keep them so warm that we hardly ever put jackets on them. In the summer, spring and fall time we used the Nano bags to protect them from the elements. Now that it is winter we use it as a out layer. I can not imagine bundling three babies in long snow pants, jackets, hats and mittens. These bags are wonderful. They are so contained and kept warm. I have never had an issue with a child being cold or getting himself out of the bag. When we have forgotten hats in the past we put the top over them and they look like a baby in a papoose. It is great also because when you get to your destination you do not have to worry about removing out layers because the babies will overheat. You just un zip the front zipper. They are still strapped in to their stroller or seat.

The price does seem a little high compared to others but think about the money you will save on Winter jackets and boots that they will outgrow in a month or two, Mittens that they will loose.

We get comments ever where we go. People just love the Nano bags. I highly recommend them.

We have tried to purchase the Toddler Bags called the Gaga bags. They are sold out everywhere. I have called the company and they told me that they will have no more for this season and that they will not have them till the Fall of 2005. I have found another company that has a similar product called "Baby Footmuff". They are very expensive. Double the Gaga bag price.
If you love the Nano bag and see the Gaga bag, BUY IT. I thought I would be able to order it on Amazon when they grew out of the Nano, but they are sold out everywhere. I regret not buying them at the beginning of the season.

5-0 out of 5 stars The one item we couldn't live without!
Love, love, love this product! We have NEVER had to worry about whether or not our baby was warm enough. She loves the coziness of the bag and we love that it keeps her warm.We don't have to deal with the inconvenience of coats or bunting outfits, which is really nice for parents on the go.We also love the zip feature so that we can open it when we go indoors and it is warm.We have had other parents stop us in public and ask where we got our Nano bag because they are overwhelmed with keeping baby warm.We live in Virginia where it is COLD, but wouldn't recommend this product for milder temperatures. We would recommend this product to everyone! It is easy to use and clean and keeps a smile on my little ones face...even in the cold. Thanks for our favorite baby product ever!

5-0 out of 5 stars No need for coats until the baby is 20lbs
I registered and received this as a gift. I also received a travel system which is good until my son turns 20lbs. I put him in the portable car seat with the Nano Bag and away he goes to wherever. No need for coats which is a drawback-I had no use for coats received as gifts. One teenzy little thing, the zipper broke but that was because I would strecth the bag to go under the seat while putting my angel in it. Would definately recommended it. ... Read more

High Back Booster Seat
Average Customer Review: 3.0 out of 5 stars
Baby Product

Editorial Review

With a weight limit that ranges from 22 to 100 pounds, this handsome high-back booster seat from Graco offers a little more versatility than the average booster seat. The chair sports Graco's gray and yellow Gridlock Charcoal styling that coordinates with many different car interiors, and the seat can be set up as abelt-positioning booster (for children weighing 30 to 100 pounds) or used with the seat's built-in, five-point harness to restrain passengers in the 22 to 40-pound range. The seat is equipped with the LATCH system and includes a top tether strap, but you can also use the seat in older cars that are not outfitted with the lower LATCH anchors and upper tether attachments. A new double-buckle system makes it more difficult for little ones to unlock the 5-point harness. It may take a little practice for parents to get the hang of opening and closing the buckle, but the system does work as intended and makes it less likely that your baby or toddler will be able to open the buckle once they have been seated. The high-back booster comes with a cup and a snack holder that are detachable. --Chris Burns ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars wonderfuly pleased
We have two of these care seats we love them so much, one for our 2yrold and one for our 5yr old. Once you get the straps used to the slipery nes of the straps (do twist ocasionaly but are very easy to un twist) we have found that the car seat is wonderful. The kids have more head support than any other car seat that we have been able to find for sleeping. the cup holders work well also and fit in on both of our seats drivers and passengers sides. The material is wonderfully easy to wipe up (we have another set of eddie bauer cosco highbacks in a blue and black sueid ish material and they are so hard to clean and keep clean) my kids also love the fact that they have there own arm rests.

2-0 out of 5 stars Far worse than expected...
When my 3 1/2 year old was ready to graduate to a booster type car seat, we moved him from the Britax Roundabout to the Eddie Bauer Highback. In addition to the 3 1/2 year old, we also have a 6 month old that has an infant seat in the center of the vehicle.Since my 6 month old is in the center where my older child used to sit, we have moved my 3 1/2 year old to the side behind the driver's seat.Warning to all Suburban, Yukon, and Tahoe owners who have their children sitting behind the driver's seat because the access for the third row seating behind the passenger...It is impossible to use the cup holder on the chair due to the cup holder being between the carseat and the door.Additionally, I was putting my child (3 1/2) into his seat when the center locking clip between his legs came out of the seat when I went to tighten the straps.Whether or not this is a common problem, I do not care. What I do care is about this locking clip coming out in a collision, which could have been just as easy. The straps do not tighten all the way and twist (which is common, I read) and the tether strap is a beating to tighten because it has to be re-threaded to tighten.I do not feel that it is as tight as the Britax by any means. We chose this seat as an alternative to the more expensive Britax but I will be going and purchasing the Britax again despite the expense. They are worth every penny and when it comes to the safety of my children, there is no dollar value to put on thier lives.Additionally, these problems were not operator error due to improper installation as I do always have a certified technician place these seats in my vehicle.

4-0 out of 5 stars GREAT BOOSTER
I just got this booster for my 2 year old and I LOVE IT!I love how wide it is, and how the back "wings" around so she can lean her head against them to sleep. The install was super easy, i had to work with the tether a bit but wasnt' hard to install if you can follow directions. And the carseat doesn't move at all!!!gotta love the LATCH.I would DEFINATLY recommend it! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Baby Food Book Out There
As a first time mom, with no idea how to begin making baby food, I spent hours in the book store looking through books and ended up with this one.It has great, easy to follow directions. I used it every day to make my son food.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great recipes, easy to prepare, interesting ingredients
I enjoyed reading through the book first and then choosing the recipes to make for my son. I started giving him solids around six months, and used this book to avoid having to buy commercial baby food. She has many suggestions that I found useful, and many of the recipes in the book really are tasty. I used carrots sparingly, having done some other research that showed that they could lead to anemia. I think, that like any other baby book, you need to be a little cautious and make sure that the author knows what she is talking about. For the few recipes/suggestions that contained any ingredients that I didn't feel comfortable giving him, I simply didn't cook them. Moreover, this book was written by an English author, and perhaps (I really have no idea) they don't have the same nitrite problems with respect to spinach and carrots (and perhaps other veggies?) in England. She calls for interesting vegetables in many of her recipes and I had fun getting to try them too! My son's favorite dish is called "Oscar's Delight" and he absolutely loves it. In fact, after making many of the vegetable dishes, my son liked all but one of them. Rutabegas really weren't one of my favorites either, so I can't blame him.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book!
I really enjoy this cookbook.I have make several recipes and they were all fantastic and easy to prepare. Not only does my baby enjoy them, but the whole family!I would highly recommend this book. There are also helpful tips inside...being a new mommy, I appreciated them. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Parenting Book
Believe it or not, this is a fast read. I finished it in about four days. It is full of wonderful parenting information from a Christian standpoint.

"Focus on the Family" obviously spent a lot of time and care in writing this book. It covers everything from pregnancy to leaving the nest, breast feeding to the menstrual cycle. The only flaw I have with this book is that it doesn't devote enough time and effort to the majority of childhood-the elementary school years.

However, any parent raising a baby, toddler, preschooler or teenager will be running to this book often. If you haven't bought this book already-and you are a parent-do so ASAP!

5-0 out of 5 stars buy a hardback if available
This book covers conception through college.Although published by conservative Christians, a term which does not describe our family, it is not some preachy religious tract. For every age it has comprehensive information on the medical issues that arise, the psychology and development of children at that age.And it is written for normal people, not experts. Thanks to this book, I have been able to figure out some things that my young children have allergic sensitivities to; I have been able to avoid dehydration when my infant had diarrhea; I know better how children of a given age think and what they may be capable of.I especially appreciated the emphasis on the children's emotional needs. For example, given my limited experience with children before having my own, if this book hadn't mentioned how much the day-to-day interactions with babies mean to their emotional wellbeing, I'm not sure I would have gone out of my way to make moments like diaper changes and feedings fun. There is easy to use information on everything from taking a rectal temperature to diagnosing allergies to understanding how a child at a given age thinks, what she may be capable of doing, and even what kind of toys go with what age. Finally, I have found that the information in this book has always been consistent with what our pediatrician says, and with the generally accepted practices mentioned in childcare magazines, so I think it is very credible.

Buy a hardback if available because you will want this to last awhile.

5-0 out of 5 stars BestBreastfeeding reference out there
I totally disagree with the person that put this book down and touted the Dr. Sears book. I too have both books....in the early stages of breastfeeding when you and your little one are still trying to figure out everything....the Sears book is useless. It doesn't help you trouble shoot any problems you might be having...nor does it tell you things you might run into or pitfalls you might expect. This book however was my right hand guide. Any question or problem I ever had I always found a viable answer or suggestion in this book. That helped me continue on because I could carry on knowing everything was ok or that I should consult somebody for help. I think I am a testament to how helpful this was since I am still breastfeeding my daughter happily at 14 months and just starting to wean. My origional goal was only 6 months. Buy this book it is extremely helpful. Breastfeeding is not an easy thing even if your baby takes to it correctly right away. You have to be determined to make it work before the baby gets here. If you just say you'll try it...you will fail at it or give up fast most times I think. Any kind of helpful resource is a push in the right direction for the good of your baby.

4-0 out of 5 stars "Survival" Sections are great "
This book answered a couple of questions that went unanswered in the Sears Breastfeeding book and in the LLL "Womanly Art of Breastfeeding", so I found it worth having.

Worth noting: the author, Kathleen Huggins is the lady who patented the "My Brest Friend" nursing pillow - a great nursing tool!

This book features "survival" sections which are highlighted for easy access and summarize the events of the child's and mother's breastfeeding needs at particular stages: "Survival Guide for the First Week", "Suvival Guide for the first 2 months", "Survival Guide for months 2-6" and "Survival Guide for the Later Months"

None of my three breastfeeding books have all the answers, but I think that if you bought this book and the Sears book, you will have all the info you need.

3-0 out of 5 stars Covers all bases but is very very repetitive!
Though very helpful and it does seem to cover all area and questions/concerns a mother may have, it's also extremely repetitive! In every chapter I felt like I was re-reading something from the last chapter almost word for word. The same topics are addressed over and over. The book could be cut in half and still cover all bases. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Unlike most of the metal safety gates on the market, the CenterGateway does not permanently attach to walls or banisters with hingesand screws. Instead, this 29.5-inch-high steel barrier uses apressure-mounted system to hold it in place across doorways and hallsin your house. Although it may lack the complete strength of apermanently mounted gate and probably shouldn't be used in front ofstairways, the Center Gateway is far more versatile: after installationyou can easily detach and move it throughout your home to blockoff-limit rooms and spaces as needed. The Center Gateway alsoeliminates the need for drilling holes into the wood and metalworkaround your home. The gateway is designed to block spaces from 29.25 to37.5 inches wide, and you can purchase optional extension kits (soldseparately) to extend the gate's length to almost 49 inches. 2-0 out of 5 stars Dangerous step
Pluses: This gate is sturdy, easy to install, and is pressure mounted so as to not leave any holes in your walls.

Negatives: The bottom railing step is very high. We installed it at the top of the stairs and immediately imagined tripping over it and tumbling down the steps! I am returning this today and will be getting a wall mounted gate. I would seriously avoid this gate for anyone that is worried about tripping down the steps.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent!!!
The gate is easy to install, sturdy, and easy to operate.I was worried about adding the 2 extra extensions i needed to fit a 48" hallway opening, but it fits excellent. An incredible gate, anyone purchasing this will not regret it.

Please Please do not buy this stroller. It is a complete nightmare. When both kids are in the stroller it is almost impossible to turn. Everytime we take it out it is just a big frustration. I do like how much room the kids have and how nice and large the basket is. Otherwise if you would like to take you kids for a nice ride DO NOT BUY THIS STROLLER

IF YOU GO STRAIGHT YOUR OK BUT DON'T TRY TO TURN! YOU REALLY NEED TO HAVE MUSCLES TO TURN IT BECAUSE OF THE SHOCKS ON THE BACK TIRES! MY HUSBAND CAN'T EVEN MOVE IT WITH EASE! PLEASE TRY A DUO GLIDER! 3-0 out of 5 stars good but not great

Editorial Review

Perhaps the perfect children's bedtime book, Goodnight Moon is a short poem of goodnight wishes from a young rabbit preparing for--or attempting to postpone--his own slumber. He says goodnight to every object in sight and within earshot, including the "quiet old lady whispering hush." Clement Hurd's illustrations are simple and effective, alternating between small ink drawings and wide, brightly colored views of the little rabbit's room.

Finding all of the items mentioned throughout the book within the pictures is a good bedtime activity--a reappearing little mouse is particularly pesky. By the end of the little rabbit's goodnight poem, the story has quieted to a whisper, and the drawings have darkened with nightfall. As you turn the last page, you can expect a sleepy smile and at least a yawn or two. (Picture book) ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars It's just o.k.
I bought this because it was so highly recommended here and by some other parents, but I am disappointed. We've had it for two years now, my son is now 2 1/2.I've tried to follow the cadence, which is awkwardly combined with the flow of page turning. The illustrations are amateurish and boring.(Who leaves a bowl full of mush to sit in the bedroom overnight?)Sorry, This book just doesn't click for us.

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't believe I am giving it 5 stars
A while back I wrote a negative review of this book because I thought it was strange.(I deleted the review only a day or so after writing it, however).Like some others, I could not see the appeal of this book and didn't understand the particular writing style.I had read it to my child a few times and then stopped for a while.

Well, a couple of months ago I started reading this book at bedtime some and guess what - the baby really likes it!Now if my child likes it, then I cannot help but like it!He is 13 months old now and this is one of his many favorite books. It is part of our bedtime routine and is special to me now because I share with him each night.I am sure when he grows up I will have fond memories of "Good Night Moon", and may become sad when he thinks he is too old for this story.

Somehow, I do feel it is a sweet little book.We received 2 copies as gifts - I doubt I would have ever bought it on my own - but it has become a special tradition for us!

5-0 out of 5 stars Going on copy number 2
We love this book.My son adores it.After bath time, we put him in his crib and give him a book to play with while we read him another one.Goodnight Moon is one of the very few books that he has no desire to play with or read another book while we are reading this one (Guess How Much I Love You is another).

We love this story because it is so interactive. Now that he is getting older, he points out all the things in the story, he counts to three (three little bears sitting in chairs) and he says Night Night after each Good Night page. We just love it.

As I said we are going on book number 2 here. The first book is too well loved and we need another copy of it.

Truly a timeless classic. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Oh, the wonderful things Mr. Brown can do! In this "Book of Wonderful Noises," Mr. Brown struts his stuff, as he imitates everything from popping corks to horse feet ("pop pop pop pop" and "klopp klopp klopp," respectively) while inviting everyone to join him in the fun. Young readers who are still learning their sounds and letters will get a wacky workout as they follow along with the very serious-looking, squinty-eyed Mr. Brown. Whether it's eggs frying in a pan or a hippo chewing gum, the skillful Mr. Brown just keeps topping himself, with a "sizzle sizzle" or a "grum grum grum." "Mr. Brown is so smart he can even do this: he can even make a noise like a goldfish kiss!... pip!" As usual, the words and pictures of Dr.Seuss make reading (and making all sorts of funny noises) impossible to resist. Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You? will stay fresh through many a giggling reading. --Paul Hughes ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My boy loves to repeat all the noises with Mr Brown
My boy loves this book. He has had it since he was just two months old, but he never seems to grow tired of it (he is 18 months old now). He loves the different noises, and anticipates some that he know he can do really well, like the "knock knock" sound.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best memories I have of my daughters babyhood...
...is connected to this book. When she was a baby into early toddlerhood, I read this book alot....really exagerating the noises...herfavorite was the thunder but really with all the noises, she got such a kick.....I have a picture framed of her when she was about 9 mos. old - I am reading the book making some stupid hand motion and she is just CACKLING with laughter....I suggest to parents who buy the book not just to read it but to make the sounds interesting....when it says "Knock knock", rap gently on their heads....When it says Pop pop, make hand motions to the popping....babys and toddlers will be entranced....as she got older, like 18 mos.,I paused and she 'd make thecorresponding noise!

I had the board book form....great for smaller hands btw....
