    Editorial Review

The pyramid-shaped Grip and Grab Rattle is made of sturdy, safety-tested plastic tubes in bright colors that are connected by clear plastic spheres. Each sphere contains a red bead, smaller beads move freely through the tubes when the rattle is shaken. So what's the big deal? You'll have to ask a baby. For some reason, they love this thing--won't put it down. They'll go to sleep to the sound of it being gently shaken in front of them, or will miraculously be distracted from the car-seat fussies. (Mini van dealers should include the Grip and Grab as a standard feature).

This Lamaze rattle also provides learning opportunities for babies, almost from birth. The tubes are about the diameter of an adult finger--perfect for grabbing with tiny hands, and later, for chomping with tiny gums and teeth. Early lessons in cause and effect and hand- eye coordination are taught when baby moves and the rattle shakes. Included in the packaging is a booklet about infant development and creative ideas on how to use the toy, as well as a U.S. lifetime warranty. Winner of several national awards, including a National Parenting Center Seal of Approval and a National Parenting Publications Honors Award. --Katherine Ferguson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars baby loves it!
what stimulation this rattle offers. our munchkin loves shaking it and watching all of the colored balls move from one end to the other. we take it everywhere, great rattle!

5-0 out of 5 stars Just Amazing
I have 2 daughters. One 3 and the other 5 months and both of them were and are captivated by this contraption. The 5 month old loves the sound the beads make and can literally watch them for an hour. I highly reccomend this toy to any first time mother or expecting mom. Put it on your List!!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars It's all about the noise!
Who cares if this toy encourages visual development or independent play? As far as my baby is concerned this toy Makes Noise. Lots of it. In fact, I think that if she'd learned the war-cry of the Rohirrim, she'd be doing that to accompany the violent shaking she gives the rattle. Raaaaarhhhhh. It's a bit like a one-six-month-old Maurauding Horde and has been for weeks. This rattle is the business. And why? Because It's Louder than all the other (wussy) rattles. Raaaarhhhh! ... Read more

    Editorial Review

In the bright, cheerful colors that Sassy has become famous for, this set of miscellaneous playthings and teethers is sure to capture baby's interest and attention. While the eye-catching colors and shapes, are sure to draw baby's eye, the toys in this set also come in a variety of textures and shapes, so that baby can investigate how each one feels in her hand and, inevitably, in her mouth. Soft, flexible rubber parts on many of the toys make them just right for a little playful gnawing when baby is teething, while other toys in the set come with smoother plastic parts that have been rounded off to prevent injury. --Chris Burns ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful
I wasn't sure what toys to buy, since there are so many to choose from. This set of toys were perfect.Since my daughter could first hold a rattle at around 3 months until present she has loved these toys. There is something for every step of the way.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Assortment of Baby Toys
I bought this set before my son was born and couldn't wait to show him all of the bright, colorful toys. When he was a few weeks old, we held the rattles in front of him, and he stared at them in amazement.Eventually he learned to hold and shake them on his own, and then he discovered the other toys.He fell in love with the yellow and purple jingle ball, and he would have lots of fun shaking it and rolling it across the floor. The teethers are nicely textured, and the linking letters are fun to dangle from an activity gym. Also, my son loves the little yellow rubber ducky and the purple octopus.I squirt him with them during bath time, and he laughs and squeals.Of all the toys we now own, many of his favorites are from the original Sassy set. This toy set has been wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to other parents. Not only are the toys designed with bright, high-contrast patterns to please young infants, but also they are varied and durable enough to please older babies. This truly is a great assortment of baby toys.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best gift ever!
I received this box of toys as a shower gift for my twins. They are now 7 months old and continue to play with these toys. They both continue to go back to this set, more so then any other toys they have.I will always buy this as a baby gift from now on. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Really loud - don't bother!
When I was a little girl, I had this wind-up lamb that played Brahm's lullaby and moved it's neck.I loved it - and wanted something similar for my daughter. This is NOT it.The music is really "electronic" sounding, and when the neck moves, the whole thing makes this loud "rrrrrrrrr" noise.Plus, the music is WAY too loud for a lullaby. That being said, my daughter loves making this "go."Oh well, save your money and keep looking!

2-0 out of 5 stars disappointing
I thought this was a cute item when I registered for it on my baby wish list. But it is loud and mechanical/distorted sounding - kind of scary for a little one.

1-0 out of 5 stars really poor quality on the music!
so my daughter is really into musical toys - - and i've been trying to buy her as many as we can, since she loves them so much.i was really excited to get this product, and really disappointed when it arrived.the music is REALLY electronic sounding, and really loud also - - i'm not sure how she is supposed to go to sleep with it.the movement was neat, she liked that part, but overall, it didn't make a stellar impression or anything.i was really, really let down with how tinny the music was.we have other toys that have electronic music that don't sound NEARLY this bad! ... Kick N learn Piano

    Toy
    list price: $24.99
US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France

    Editorial Review

Parents who responded to piano lessons by kicking the instrument mayappreciate this toy as much as a baby will. Two ties hang it from the side ofthe crib, five "keys" on the soft cover conceal five buttons, and colored shapesabove each "key" light up when they are hit or kicked. In one mode, the five"keys" play individually, like piano keys; in another, they play a medley of 10tunes; in a third, they sound out animal names, numbers, and other concepts thatare keyed to the pattern on the cover. The Kick 'n' Learn Piano includes anon/off switch, auto off, and high/low volume control. Requires three AAbatteries. --Richard Farr ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good for the younger end of the age range
We got this as a shower gift. When my daughter was about three months old we would sit her up in the boppy seat in her crib and let her kick at the keys. She enjoyed the sounds and the music and it was part of her daily routine until she was about five months old. Then she started to get a little bored with it and started using her hands to make the noise. Finally she stopped playing with it all together by the time she was six months. Over all it's a nice toy.I liked the noises that it made and the music wasn't too bad, though after a while the same songs got to me.However, she has toys with more annoying songs, so I wouldn't let that stop me from buying it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good
I think that this is a great toy because it gives babies a chance to have fun, hear interesting sounds, and learn piano!!!:)

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent toy that grows w/ your child
I read a great review about this product in Parents so I had to check it out for myself. My daughter who was 4 months at the time I purchased this, absolutely loves this toy. It has 3 different levels of interaction: music, animal noises, and counting/alphabet. She will wake up in the middle of the night and start kicking away, and if it's turned off - she'll actually get mad that the music doesn't come on! I initially thought the price was a bit high for a "crib toy" but it's worth every penny!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Investment
We were hesitant to spend $50 on an infant toy, but it was so worth it.My daughter stared, kicked, and rolled for many hours on this toy the first 6 months. The colors are great and she loved the accessories. She is now 9 months and I removed the toys. She now has them hanging on her car seat, stroller, and high chair. This is so versatile and well worth the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars My baby loves it!
I bought this for my baby when she was just over a month old.$50 seemed like a lot of money, but she loves it.She will lay on it and play for an hour, and she is only 2 months old.It allows me to get things done while she is safe & content. It is the best $50 I spent.I'd recommend it to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny!
This playmat is one of the best gifts the baby received! During the earlier months, he loved staring at the attachment toys, which encouraged him to reach & bat at things. Later, during tummy time, he discovered the crinkly pad and the bright colors on the mat, itself. We have also taken off the toys and attached them to his exersaucer, stroller, and carseat, for even portable fun. The rings that attached the toys to the gymini were also used to attach other toys with little loops. Therefore, we are still using the gymini (and different parts of it) at 7 months and will probably continue to do so. What a well-designed toy! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars We'd purchase it again!!
We have enjoyed this toy.You can use the Velcro tabs and make a circle or a curvy path for your infant. Each segment has a different activity. The "sea-life" suspended in water has been a big hit with my babies (and the cat.)Tiny Love even replaced the water pouch with "sea-life" for free when our cat enjoyed it a little too much. lol
The toys you push to make sound are not too loud or too difficult to squeeze. The child-safety mirror with the crinkly sun rays is a big success for bringing smiles.Placing the Velcro-ed faces and colorful shapes around has been a fun challenge.
When your child gets older, using the Velcro tabs to create a cone shaped play area creates new games and fun.

1-0 out of 5 stars Poor Quality and not worth the money!
I bought this item for my newborn - thinking it would grow with him and be useful for at least the 1st year.I was SO wrong.First, as I feared, the water "fishbowl" leaked the 1st time I filled it.I returned it and the next one leaked as well. Then, the mirror is one of those "plastic" mirrors that gives a distorted reflection - which was of no value or interest to my son. The cow that makes noise died after less than a month of light to no use. Finally, the toy just didn't have that "fun" value that a $43 toy should have.He hated it - never attempted to crawl down it, never played with the features. Save your money - this toy is of poor quality and poor entertainment value. There are tons of better products out there...

3-0 out of 5 stars Good toy, but not $40 good
I bid on this toy on Ebay ($13), it definitely isn't worth $40.My daughter enjoys it, and she will roll from one end to the other playing with the different parts. She eats the velcro pieces, and plays with the water filled part.Mine has not leaked yet.The animals quit making sounds very quickly.Only one of mine still works. She gets her foot caught under it a lot too, it is too light. She can lift the pieces up.I would not recommend buying this new, but if you can get it cheaper it's pretty good. The Tiny Love Gymini is worth every penny, and lasts a long time! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars great in the car
My 3 month old had a hard time in the car until recently. Once she was able to focus on the colorful side of this playmat, she was occupied during car rides and no longer cried. Now, as soon as I put her in her carseat, she immediatley fixates on the mat and is quiet for our entire journey.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for newborns
This playmat is terrific. My baby loved it from the day we brought her home from the hospital; she stared at the black-and-white patterned side for a half an hour at a time. It's especially handy, I think, that it folds into a triangle so that it's easy for the baby to lie on his or her back and look at it.If the baby gets bored with that view, you can just flip it to another side--one has a mirror that my baby loved. It's also very easy to transport and can be either tied or draped to the backseat of the car so your baby can look at it (regardless of whether your carseat faces front or back).

5-0 out of 5 stars Great as a Car decoration during trips!
The Busy Bee playmat has very colorful contrastful colors on one side and black and white images on the other. At 0-2months old my baby loves to look at the black & white patterns and is just now begining to like looking at the other colorful side.He stares at it and it keeps him occupied in the car- I just hang it up where he can see it.The drawbacks of this toy is that it is small so I believe it does not make a very good playmat & the velcro is rough- therefore it makes a much better decoration to look at than playmat. But I am glad I got it because, as I said, my baby loves to stare at it :-)

----> UPDATE: Now that my little guy is 6 months he loves this toy and it keeps him occupied in the car.I fold it up and put it on his lap in the carseat and he loves to grab at the little snakes on the edges and the butterfly!I highly recommend this toy!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Shop Around
My 5 month old daughter loves her ExerSaucer-Ultra but shop around before you buy.We found this same ExerSaucer for 69.96 at Wal-Mart!We brought Lauren to the stores with us to look at them and this one was by far her favorite. She loves the colors and there are tons of different toys to choose from. She loves to be in it and it comes in very handy while I'm trying to do some house work or cook supper. It is a great investment but just be sure to price other places before you buy it!

5-0 out of 5 stars This is the best Exersaucer!!!
We got this for our daughter when she was about 4 1/2 months old. Right away she loved it.It keeps her occupied long enough for me to prepare and cook dinner sometimes, which is very helpful!! Phoebe is now 7 months old and still loves it and now she is bouncing in it a lot and just laughs at all her toys. I really loved the side stands for when we 1st got it because then that way she wasn't swayed back and forth a lot it stayed very steady. We also love the Castle theme very neat and colorful. My only complaint will be that I have not yet figured out how to fold it. However Ihaven't been in the situation I had to yet and I need to look closer at the instructions I guess. As for the Jester they must have fixed that problem because Phoebe is always playing with that part and never has gotten hurt by it at all. Great product I highly recommend it!!

5-0 out of 5 stars The BEST of the best
I was really deciding between this one and the Baby Einstien for my now 4 month old son. His 20 month old twin brothers just had an older hand-me down model, but I thought we should get a new one. I really love this exersaucer. At BRU we tried ALL of them. And we really liked this one, and the B.E. When Zach was in this one though, he was the most excited but in the B.E he didnt really like the toys as much. Its super easy to adjust hieght settings, and it was REALLY easy to put together, everything really snaps in place. Its easy to spin the seat and everythings really colorful and always catches his attention. He likes it when we take the pegs off and rock it for him. The toys are all VERY safe, and I just adore the castle theme (my son seems fond of the green frog prince since hes plush and can easily fit part of him in his mouth). The music is really cute, yet not overly annoying. There is room of the "tray" for maybe some cheerios and maybe for my son to hold his favorite plushy. The seat is a very cute pattern and doesnt show stains too much. My son really really loves this, I dont see how anyone could possibly resist this cute and durable, (my 20 month old twins are FOREVER climbing on it) exersaucer! ... Read more

My baby hated to be on her tummy, but all nurses insist it is critical in baby development.I would put this inchworm under her elbows and prop her up on it and she was much more comfortable.I also wrap it around her head as a head rest in her car seat. It's her most-used toy.She loves the colors and sounds it makes.

This is a cute toy, but our 6 month old has yet to be interested in it.Its large size makes it difficult to hold for small babies.I know it's gotten many good reviews, so I'll keep trying... just know that very young babies may not get much use out of it! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Choking Hazard
My daughter LOVES the Whoozit! She has the female version (pink body instead of blue). This toy has a red heart that makes the "crinkling" noise when you play with it.Because it is red and makes the noise it is my daughter's favorite part of the toy.Since she's teething, she loves to put it into her mouth and chew on it.Unfortunately, she was chewing on it one day in the grocery store when the red heart got lodged in her throat. She was not breathing at all.Luckily, I was right in front of her, noticed it, and immediately pulled out the toy.I just can't help but wonder what might have happened if I had not been standing right there with her when it happened.I've told several of my friends about this and they told me of similar stories they have heard from other people. From now on, I tuck the red heart into the inside of the toy (between the two body sections) so my daughter can't get to it.All the kids who I've seen playing with it seem to love the Whoozit, but the one crinkle piece is a choking hazard.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy!!!!!!
True that this is a weird and maybe ugly toy, but my baby loves it!! She's 7 weeks old and I hang it from her swing and she loves staring at it. She just looks at it and smiles. I like this one for the moment because it's small and light enough to dangle from the bar on her swing. Other toys are bigger and heavier and for some reason she loses interest in them quickly. I recommend this toy for all babies!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Toy Ever
I bought this for my daughter when she was approx. 1 month (now 5 months old). Out of all the toys she has this one is her favorite. It's the weirdest looking thing, but she is so intrigued by "Senor Whoozit" (that's it's name).

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Toy for Young Babies
I bought these blocks for my son to use to chew on and play with in case he tipped over and landed on them.He LOVES these blocks. He's been playing with them since he was 5 months old and he's now 10.5 months old and these blocks are still played with by him each day.All in all, a great investment!

5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Adorable
My son was given these blocks as a gift and I wasn't so sure about blocks just yet he's only 6 months old. But they are "rubber" and they are great for bath or pool toys. He uses them as chew toys at this point, but my Nephew uses them and stacks them and my son knocks them down. They are great if you are worried about the plastic blocks and being chewed on or the wood blocks and being thrown and getting hurt. These are soft and light weight but bulky for little baby to hold on to. Though I love them.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best blocks for the littlest babies
My son would beam himself in the head with just about everything when he was younger. These were the only blocks I would consider and he loved them from day one (about four months old).He plays with them in the high chair after eating and they keep him entertained for quite a while. They are also great for teething. He is now ten months old and still loves these blocks. He plays more appropriately with harder blocks as well, but we still love these best. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Cute, soft and fun to knock over!
I purchased these blocks from another retailer when my daughter was about 2 months old. They are very cute and soft with bright, vibrant colours. The best part about them, according to my now one year old, is when I stack them up and she gets to knock them over. I paid about $7 for them and found it well worth it, I'm not sure however that I would have rated it as highly if I had paid $20. Other thoughts: there's a hole in the biggest block through which smaller toys can be dropped, and that's always a fun cause and effect lesson as well. The little ball giggles when you throw it, which is kind of charming as well. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

This gentle, whimsical toy provides gentle stimulation and interactive play for a baby or toddler. There are three balls, each with a different colored fish inside, that the child can place inside the fishbowl, prompting soft music and happy, bubbly sound effects. The music and sounds also play when the balls are moved around inside the bowl. The unit has a rounded bottom so it can be gently rocked, and there are two volume settings; a feature parents are sure to appreciate. Requires 3 AA batteries (included). --David Stoesz ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A big hit - for a long time.
I admit I was skeptical when my Mom bought this for my then 5-month-old daughter (sorry Mom, if you're reading this!).But my daughter took a shine to it right away, laughing at the music, watching the sparkly "water" slosh around, and moving the balls around. She continued to play with it up until she was about 18 mos old or so, almost every day. As her motor skills improved she found more and more things to do with it - spin the aquarium around by herself, shake it to see what happens, try to throw or roll the balls into the aquarium...I was really surprised at all of the different ways she found to play with this toy. Great call, Mom! I strongly recommend this toy for other parents.

3-0 out of 5 stars Premie twins mom review of fish bowl
Overall this toy is quite durable, but the balls are on the heavy side along with the extra bubbler that came with the fish bowl. I have twins who run on the smaller side, so it may be a couple more months before they would be comfortable playing with the toy. The music and lights are great and they enjoy watching and listening. thanks

5-0 out of 5 stars Who knew that a fishtank would be so interesting!? :)
I have 2 sets of twins, 3 year old b/g and 8 month old b/b. We also have MANY pets (2 dogs, a cat, and fish). My kids just LOVE looking at the fish tank so someone bought this for us as a joke, but my kids LOVED it!! My 8 month olds love rolling the balls and putting them in the bowl. The 3 year olds love to sort of throw them in the bowl, (not recomended, but as long as the babies aren't around I dont hassle them too much :) ). They all love this toy and I had to go out and buy another one, (I cant have ALL four of them playing with it at once!)This toy is NEVER in the toy box, because someone is always playing with it! My 8 month olds are actually really in love with the turtle, while the 3 year olds love the pink fish! I think they like the bubbles better than the music (because thats what "the real fishies) do!) I love the aquarium toys (we have the crib ones too) and I love fisher price. Your kids will LOOOOVVVVEEEEE this too! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars My Daughter Liked the Plain Old Stacker Better
My daughter got this toy at 6 months old for Christmas.I was really bummed because she actually liked the plain old ring stacker better than the Baby Einstein Stacker. She chewed on the "rings" but that is the extent of her play. She's now 11 months and still prefers the boring ring stacker to this one :(Save your money - buy the boring ring stacker that makes no noise (saves your ears!)!

3-0 out of 5 stars Why so hard? Why so loud?
This toy has two major flaws:

1 - it is too loud and there is no way to control or adjust the volume.

2- the stacking pole is hard plastic - the toy would be safer if it were flexible or at least cushioned.

My daughter (9 months)does like this toy though and she enjoys pulling off the animals and chewing on them.Because I think it's too loud and stiff, I let her play with it while I'm playing too.

1-0 out of 5 stars LOUD and ANNOYING
This toy may be the most irritating one my 6 month old has.As others mention, it is so LOUD and the music gets extremely annoying after a while. Also, I thought mine was defective, but it seems other people have also noticed that the darn thing can't be turned off! What's the point of an "on/off" switch if both mean "on"???The toys are difficult to stack and the top toy must be on top because it's closed. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy for newborn too!!
First off, this IS NOT MADE TO BE HUNG ON YOUR INFANT SEAT. The person that wrote instructions are for a reason and not to put it dangling from infant seat...there are instructions with this also, you hang it from the head rest so that the baby can look at it, not play with it.It is a great focusing toy for newborns too.Mine loves to stare at it and it strengthens their eye muscles! We keep some cards at home and some in the car.Older babies love it too!Great item, I would definitely recommend this!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy for road trips, completely safe
I got a previous version of one of these for my daughter as a gift.I was skeptical, but amazed at the calming effect it had during our 9 hour road trips to visit family.I pulled it out years later for my son and just lost it in a rental car switch.I am very eager to get a new one.I highly recommend it.My children are road warriors and this makes the trip more pleasant for us all.

4-0 out of 5 stars It doesn't go ON the baby seat!!
To the person who wrote the review about this being unsafe. This toy goes around the headrest of the BACK SEAT OF YOUR CAR, not on the infant carrier.DUH!

I think this will be a great calm toy for my baby to look at while we're driving!I hope I recieve it.( i registered for it) ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars More attractive for adults than kids
These blocks are soft, colourful, with fun flaps and interesting pictures- just the sort of toy every parent thinks their kid would want. So, I bought these blocks when my daughter was 6 months old (she's 2.5 now) and like the previous reviewer's child, she never really liked payed them more than a moments attention.I thought they might be more of a hit with my son (who is now 7 months old), but so far they've been a flop too. It's a shame as before I had kids I bought them for all my friends with babies thinking they'd be great toys.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not much fun!
My boss got these for our daughter when she was born.I was so excited and loved them b/c they were soft, colorful and had different tectures and noises. However, my daughter never bothered with them no matter how much I played with them with her. She'd push my hand aside and try to do other things. They just became annoying because they were always on the floor and in the way (she'd toss them aside as she'd dig through her toy bin looking for things to play with).Even at 15 months, I've pulled them back out and tried to show her how to stack them etc.She wants nothing to do with them. She'd rather play with and stack my plastic containers and pots and pans.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy for "grabbers".
We received this set as a Christmas gift 2004 for our 5 month- old twins. As each baby has a different developmental growth, they both love them in different ways.

They are easy to grab & hold on to.Great for one that is teething and great for the other that likes to squeeze everything in sight.

Both babies love them during tummy time and sitting up time- they aren't to the "stacking" stage, but love them just the same.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Investment!Activities for many levels and interests!
I'm a mom that has to buy one toy that will serve multiple purposes. So you can imagine my joy when I came across the Music n' Play table! On the top side, it's split between a piano and activity center, then flip it over and underneath is a miniature "lego" building table.Plus, it has storage for the lego pieces!I was looking for an activity table for my 8-month old son because he likes to stand and pull himself up on things. We've had absolutely no problems with its stability. Actually, he uses it like a walker, pushing it all around the kitchen. And it easily entertains more than one child at a time.I was hoping it was available at stores in my area, but even with shipping and handling, it was well worth the price.I highly reccomend this toy, I know Colin will enjoy his Music n' Play Table for a long time.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun, but what's with the music?
Our 13-month old enjoys this table a lot. However it sounds like all the preprogrammed music was done in Shanghai.Vaguely American pieces are played with distinctly Chinese instruments and arrangements, basically comprising a sad-sounding fiddle, xylophones, and drums. It's some of the strangest music I've ever heard from any kids' toy (and unfortunately it's somewhat scratchy due to poor sampling or tone generation). Also be aware this item takes two sets of batteries: one for the activity area and the other for the music area.Pros: easy assembly, lots of items for the toddler to play with, and unlike many of their other toys it's one they can play with standing up.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awsome
I'm 11 years old. I went to my cousins house and played with this toy. I couldn't stop playing. It was so much fun. When my cousins got a real keyboard they told me to play with that. I told them I didn't want to. Then they threw it away when their son stoped playing with it. I threw a tantrum ... Read more

After reading others reviews of this swing, I had to comment.I bought this swing for my daughter when she was 18 months. She is now turning 3 and the swing is still in wonderful condition(even the ropes!) even though it's been outside for 1 1/2 years. That's even inluding a storm that brought us about 5 inches of ice.My daughter loved this when I bought it for her and she still does. She could swing for hours if it wasn't always raining in the Northwest.I would most definitly buy this again if I have another child. As for those that are complaining about the ropes...they are ropes! They are eventually going to unravel unless you happen to have a rope from a shipyard that is ment to hold vessels and not a child that ways less than 40 lbs.

3-0 out of 5 stars Swing is OK... constricting
When I ordered the swing I thought that it would have a flat seat for the child to sit in. Instead it has grooves for his legs. The rope is a little short and it is somewhat difficult to adjust for proper swinging. It does swing.I will choose a different seat today.

4-0 out of 5 stars Maybe I'm just paranoid
Maybe I'm just paranoid but the section of the float where the baby sits holds less air than the adult section.I wouldn't dare let go, but it seemed like my baby started to sink & possibly MIGHT tip if I didn't hold the adult side down.I have to admit though, my 17 pound 3-1/2 month old loves it.He can sit up with little support and goes to town kicking.

3-0 out of 5 stars Awesome product!
The first time I used the "Baby and Me Float" I was comforted by the proximity of my child.I actually cuddled him the first 15-minutes, or so.Baby sits a little deeper in this float than the cheap ones drug stores carry, so that gave me peace of mind. The float requires 100% adult interaction, as baby could tip it over if left unattended. We usually swim as a family, so either my husband, or I would carry our son into the water, and place him in the float, while the other parent slipped into the ring.If you're considering using this float without assistance from another adult, I recommend leaving the float on the deck before entering the water. This way you're free to carry your baby into the water without distractions.

Both my husband and I were comfortable using the float. That's saying a lot!My husband is 6'7" tall and weighs 240 pounds, while I'm only 5'3" tall and weigh....What?If you expected me to divulge my weight on a product review, you're crazy!Anyhow, the float accommodates a variety of shapes, sizes, and weights.Aqua Leisure does not provide a weight capacity for this product, which I find unusual, but considering it's a floatation device and water weight is drastically different than actual weight, it might be discretionary. The float is recommended for babies 6-months to 2-years.That's probably an accurate recommendation; however, I wouldn't use age as the determining factor. If your child sits confidently in a highchair, then they're probably strong enough for this float. In addition, the baby seat is rather generous, so it accommodates older, or larger children as well.

The "Baby and Me Float" is long lasting. We used the float for two summers without leaks, or puncture wounds.Phoenix has a long outdoor season, April through October, so that's equivalent to 6 or 7 months of continual use.I'd say that's an exceptional record for a floatation device.I'm not sure if the float deflates if the toy bar's penetrated, as my son wasn't much of a nibbler at that age.Although if you ask me, the toy bar's useless. The balls don't roll easily, and the rings are difficult to slide.Well, for a 1-year old anyway.

(...) It truly enhanced our summertime fun, so I'll gladly recommend it.

    Be careful, and happy floating,
    Mary :)

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun in the water!
We bought this for my son, who was about 9 months old at the time.He absolutely loved being in the water.I liked the fact that I could be right there, facing him, talking to him, kicking us around the pool.He soon learned to kick, too, and would lean the was he wanted to kick.Sometimes my 5 year old daughter would go in it facing him and I would stay at their side.It was a lot of fun for the family. The only problem was the ring holder. My sister had the same float, and both boys bit a hole in theirs before the summer ended. It was just too tempting a target, right in front of them for periods of time, with those new, interesting, sharp little teeth!Gently encouraging him not to bite didn't work, but I would buy this again if I have another baby simply for the enjoyment on all our parts! ... Editorial Review

Oh, the wonderful things Mr. Brown can do! In this "Book of Wonderful Noises," Mr. Brown struts his stuff, as he imitates everything from popping corks to horse feet ("pop pop pop pop" and "klopp klopp klopp," respectively) while inviting everyone to join him in the fun. Young readers who are still learning their sounds and letters will get a wacky workout as they follow along with the very serious-looking, squinty-eyed Mr. Brown. Whether it's eggs frying in a pan or a hippo chewing gum, the skillful Mr. Brown just keeps topping himself, with a "sizzle sizzle" or a "grum grum grum." "Mr. Brown is so smart he can even do this: he can even make a noise like a goldfish kiss!... pip!" As usual, the words and pictures of Dr.Seuss make reading (and making all sorts of funny noises) impossible to resist. Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You? will stay fresh through many a giggling reading. --Paul Hughes ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My boy loves to repeat all the noises with Mr Brown
My boy loves this book. He has had it since he was just two months old, but he never seems to grow tired of it (he is 18 months old now). He loves the different noises, and anticipates some that he know he can do really well, like the "knock knock" sound.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best memories I have of my daughters babyhood...
...is connected to this book. When she was a baby into early toddlerhood, I read this book alot....really exagerating the noises...herfavorite was the thunder but really with all the noises, she got such a kick.....I have a picture framed of her when she was about 9 mos. old - I am reading the book making some stupid hand motion and she is just CACKLING with laughter....I suggest to parents who buy the book not just to read it but to make the sounds interesting....when it says "Knock knock", rap gently on their heads....When it says Pop pop, make hand motions to the popping....babys and toddlers will be entranced....as she got older, like 18 mos.,I paused and she 'd make thecorresponding noise!

I had the board book form....great for smaller hands btw....
