5-0 out of 5 stars Great Investment!Activities for many levels and interests!
I'm a mom that has to buy one toy that will serve multiple purposes. So you can imagine my joy when I came across the Music n' Play table! On the top side, it's split between a piano and activity center, then flip it over and underneath is a miniature "lego" building table.Plus, it has storage for the lego pieces!I was looking for an activity table for my 8-month old son because he likes to stand and pull himself up on things. We've had absolutely no problems with its stability. Actually, he uses it like a walker, pushing it all around the kitchen. And it easily entertains more than one child at a time.I was hoping it was available at stores in my area, but even with shipping and handling, it was well worth the price.I highly reccomend this toy, I know Colin will enjoy his Music n' Play Table for a long time.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun, but what's with the music?
Our 13-month old enjoys this table a lot. However it sounds like all the preprogrammed music was done in Shanghai.Vaguely American pieces are played with distinctly Chinese instruments and arrangements, basically comprising a sad-sounding fiddle, xylophones, and drums. It's some of the strangest music I've ever heard from any kids' toy (and unfortunately it's somewhat scratchy due to poor sampling or tone generation). Also be aware this item takes two sets of batteries: one for the activity area and the other for the music area.Pros: easy assembly, lots of items for the toddler to play with, and unlike many of their other toys it's one they can play with standing up.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awsome
I'm 11 years old. I went to my cousins house and played with this toy. I couldn't stop playing. It was so much fun. When my cousins got a real keyboard they told me to play with that. I told them I didn't want to. Then they threw it away when their son stoped playing with it. I threw a tantrum ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars These are great!
My son was born 4-3-05, and he has been enjoying these bugs for a few weeks. At first I just held them in front of him, and he would track them with his eyes. Now I have them attached to his carseat handle. He likes to look at them and he also likes to bat them, or punch them when he is mad, hee hee. The bright colors and bold patterns catch baby's attention.

2-0 out of 5 stars No wonder kids don't like bugs . . .
I registered for these "bugs" online, so I didn't actually see them until I opened them at my shower. They are scary looking!Naturally, they went back to the store!

5-0 out of 5 stars These are great!

5-0 out of 5 stars My kid loves being top dog!
I got this for my 8-year old and she instantly got on it and started running over other kids!
she loves it!
she is the master of our street and if you mess with her you get run over!!
so any other people who get this,my Little susie wants a piece of you!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great 1st timer
We bought this for my daughter's 1st birthday which was yesterday. She loves to climb on and off of it just after 1 day.She can't push the button herself yet but likes for us to push it so she can ride. She did accidently push it once and laughed when it started moving. After she realized the button made it move she pushed it and let off several times and laughed about it.I think she will really enjoy it this summer when she knows how to make it go on her own.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent ride for the money
We purchased this for our 1 year old daughter on her 1st birthday. & she already was able to figure out how to manuever it. I was very impressed by the product for this age group. Reverse might be nice but at this age I dont know that she could figure it out. My only concern is the seat comes off fairly easy if the lock isnt just right. Excellent purchase for the 1 year age group! She loves it ! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Almost 7 months old...and still a favorite
My son loves these three toys!He used to just stare at them when we would hang them over his carseat handle (kept him entertained at restaurants!) when he was a couple months old.Now he loves to play with them, chew on them, crinkle the material, etc... His eyes light up whenever he sees any of them - although the monkey is his favorite. Now that he's starting to teethe, he likes to chew on the butterfly one.I really like that they can all clip onto anything - prevents them from falling out of the stroller/carseat.Plus you can dangle them and have baby reach for them.I would highly recommend them!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for the car!
I received these as a baby shower gift and have used them almost from day one. These were the first toys that caught my son's attention.I hung the elephant and monkey on his infant car seat and they kept him company on many car rides. Now he is 5 months old and he loves to chew on the butterflies. These toys are definitely a great buy for the money!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great entertaining toys
My daughter who is currently 7 months absolutely adores those toys. She plays with them and holds on to them while she is in her crib. She loved them so much that I bought her more Tiny Love toys which are sold separately to put on her crib.Sometimes she falls asleep by holding on to one of the toys. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars JUST GREAT
My son is only 2 1/2 months and he loves this puppy!!! he just look at it and laugh a lot!!! it's just a great toy that helps to stimulate the babys sense

5-0 out of 5 stars Great DOG!!
I love this toy, the only thing that I have a problem with is that some of the features are too close together. But other than that I highly recommmend it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Daugher Loves Her Puppy
We bought this for our 15 mo. old daughter and she really enjoys her puppy. It's one of the toys that she goes back to throughout the day. We've had it for several months and had no problem with the ear breaking as some other reviews have stated. There are many different songs/games- I see this as something she willplay with for a long time. It's not her #1 favorite toy (That's the Laugh and Learn House- it is THE BEST!) but she does really like it and plays with it quite often. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected.
I have a 19 month girl and purchased this toy for her 1st birthday. She loves to push things around. However, this toy does not steer, so she won't push it. And it is too wide for her to really scoot around on. She has way more fun with the $8.00 stroller I bought for her baby doll. I would not purchase this toy again.

5-0 out of 5 stars Multi-friendly
These parents of twins are happy with the hippo as a first birthday gift.Even though they were 11 weeks early (which makes them about 9 1/2 months size), they are trying to walk. The hippo does not get ahead of them while pushing in the walker set up.Other walkers we tried at friends' homes would roll too fast and they would fall forward. The gobble action works on carpet or hard floors. The wheels work well enough on carpet for my daughter to continue pushing when my son crawls on top.Any toy that can stand up to these two day after day is a good buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars "IPPAUW" works WONDERS
** This gobble n' go hippo or my sons way of saying it, "IPPAUW" (This is Pronounced IP and then Ow (like what you say when you get hurt ;) )...is their favorite new toy. Our sons are just starting to stand up (8 months old) and they LOVE peek-a-blocks (we have the wagon, giraffe, hippo, dumptruck, circus set, incrediblock, and shape sorter! they LOVE them ALL). But this hippo is one of their (and my) favorites!
** They squeal when ever they play with it. But I dont really recomend it for wobbly babies, mine are but I have a little technique. My twins seemed very fustrated that they couldnt run and walk like every one else. So they hold onto the couch and then sort of push it alon (with me holding their waist) I think with this help that they are really improving.
** They even love to watch "IPPAUW" gobble the blocks, which I have to say he does surprizingly well, maybe I just got lucky with a good one! I also like that the inside of his mouth is very soft so I dont have to worry about curious hands getting "gobbled" and then hurt.
** What I really love about this is that its stable, (although it doesnt turn too well), yet as another reviewer said, having swivel wheels may just make it harder for a new walker to start taking those first steps. It will be a great and fun way for my babies to learn to walk. I can see no way that this toy could be harmful, it moves well on our carpet, and it doesnt move too fast on tile for a shakey toddler. Its a very stable ride-on too, but I would NOT suggest you ride it outside
** Even my 3 year olds LOVE "Mr. Hippo". They love to ride him all over the house because "Mr. Hippo" is one of the few riding toys allowed in the house. My 3 year olds also think its a lawnmower ever since they saw one at a friends house, and since we only have one shopping cart they use it for that too, and, its so great to see their little imaginations at work, they pretend that they are taking their pet hippo on a walk! All the neighborhood kids LOVE him, even my twins daycare cot one!
** This hippo also gobbles more than peek-a-blocks wich all my kids think is even MORE hilarious, he gobbles other blocks, balls, and whatevers in its path, my 3 year olds say that his tummy is always very full!
** Since we have DOZENS, and I mean dozens, of peek-a-blocks, its a great place to store them other than the toychest (where they always end up on the bottom).
** But what really surprized me was that this hippo excited my sons so much that after hearing us reapeat the word "hippo" over and over again, they said "IPPAUW"!. I was SO excited, (even though they still didnt say "mommy" lol). This is an amazing acomplishment being that they could only say daddy, yummy, and "nehmo" (elmo).
** Its great to see all 4 of my kids enjoying a toy, and I know this will be a key factor in walking because my friends 13 month old gave it a 'spin' and whenever she ended up in a corner, wall, or piece of furniture, she would just stand there and look at us and say " uh-oh"... so cute. (she couldnt walk alone yet)
** Bravo for the Gobble n' Go Hippo for teaching cause and effect, walking (eventually), riding and SPEACH!

5-0 out of 5 stars WOW!
We needed two tricycles for my 21 month old twin sons. We had a different one but it wouldnt grip the sidewalk, it was loud, and it would tip over if a feather landed on it, we chose this trike at TRU and are SOOO happy we did!

WE wanted one with air tires that could grip anysurface, one that had a handle, one that had a basket, and one that could grow with my sons. This trike also had free-wheeling so now my sons feet didnt get scratched when we were just pushing them. We purchased the little foot rest for them too so they wouldnt need to rest their feet on the pedals. The air tires griped onto the street perfectly, they were really really sturdy too and would not tip over wevn with two toddlers! We purchased a kettrike push bar which really worked wonders and we bought a basket for the front handle bars, it was perfect for my boys! About the only accesorry not compatable with the Air Happy is the tandem insert, but thats a small price to pay for the air tires. The seat is also adjustable and it can fit ANY toddler up to about 5 or 6 years old!

We have used these trikes EVERYWHERE and they aren't too big to fit two in the trunk of my escolade. We have used these in Manhatten at Nannas house, in the park, on the boardwalk, dogwalks, around town, to barb-e-ques, and anywhere where these would be fun to have around! My sons still use strollers but this trike is great too, and they are really learning how to steer well and pedal! Theres no tricycle out there that is better than the Air Happy (except maybe the Air Jumbo)...

5-0 out of 5 stars Good trike
I bought this trike for my 15 months old little girl for her Christmas.Santa decided to give it to her 2 months early and she was very excited.Based on many reviews all over the internet, I know I am going to buy a Kettrike.I wanted air tyres, so it was down to either the Air Happy or the Air Jumbo.

I decided to go with the Happy because of the included push bar and the seat adjustment. My wife was a bit disappointed that it does not have a tilt bucket at the back but I got the basket attachment in the front to compensate that. The trike was fun to put together and the ball bearing wheels are very smooth. The free wheeling works very well.I have also bought the Little Foot rest, a seat belt and a bell from Kettler. My little girl stuck her foot between the bar and the front wheel once and she cried but I guess I should have put shoes on her first plus she wasn't padding, so her feet could go anywhere.Since that incident, I put shoes on and she learned to have her feet stayed on the little foot rest.

I used the push bar and it was very easy to steer even though it does not navigate like the Happy Navigator. My little girl is a lot taller and bigger than most kids her age and the seat seems to be a bit small on her but it works fine. The Air Jumbo has a bigger seat but it is not adjustable. At any case, I think the adjustable frame could work in the Air Jumbo to compensate the lack of seat adjustment. In addition, the Air Happy is said to accommodate a child up to 5 years old and the Air Jumbo is only up to 4.

My duaghter likes her trike very much and I can't wait for her to learn that she could steer and paddle this trike herself one day. Both my baby and I are very happy with the trike.

Editorial Review

This interactive learning toy will grow along with your infant. There are two modes: one for infants and "lie-down" play and the other for older babies and "sitting-up" play. Lie-down play consists of a musical mode and a learning mode. In learning mode your baby can listen to the "Hello World Song" sung in five languages while watching the bright primary colors of the motorized mobile whirling away. In music mode your baby will hear over 10 minutes of music from around the world. For sitting-up play, detach the mobile and your child will be ready for some of the following hands-on learning activities: spin the world ball to hear "hello" in five languages, play peek-a-boo with the mirror, spin the animal roller to hear animal names, colors, and counting. These same buttons will play songs in the music mode, the most impressive of which was the world vocal chorus we heard when we opened the mirror. Thoughtful and engaging, this toy should hold your child's interest for a long time. Requires four "AA" batteries (not included). --Megan Sullivan ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My 2 month old loves it!
My 2 month old daughter just loves this. We also have the Baby Einstein Activity Gym, however, it doesn't really interest her. This Gym keeps her attention and she just loves the different songs/tunes.I would highly recommend this over any of the activity mats.

4-0 out of 5 stars My 9 wk old daughterand 2 yr old nephew love it.
My daughter love's this. She and the dog love looking up at the mobile. The music keeps her attention and I love that it has all the different languages. My 2 year old nephew loves this also. It coverts easy for a toddler and he loves the touching, spinning and button pushing. All in all I think it is a pretty good learning toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Mama's Other Little Helper
We bought the Leapstart Gym for my now 19mo when she was about 6 months old.It took her a little bit to be interested in it, as it does with some toys, but when she finally 'got it' she loved it!Easy to move into the sitting up mode - though I had no idea what to do with the mobile then - ?It was great to sit her in front of it and be able to do something without worry of her crawling over to me.She used it to pull up on when learning to stand and it stayed in place - didn't topple over as some toys for that age will. When she started walking she didn't seem to be very interested in it for awhile (at 1 year), but the last couple of months - (17-19) now that she is getting more verbal she is playing with it again.
I like the different languages and the ability to control the volume.I think I've only replaced the batteries twice in just over a year? But I've always turned it off at night. ... Read more

When it comes to musical instruments, the drum is arguably one of theeasiest to play: just give it a smack. Fortunately, LeapFrog has created a drumthat's sure to provide ongoing delight. It's an electronic instrument with fourdifferent settings. When set to "ABC," each pat of the drum displays a letter onthe drum's top while a friendly voice says the letter out loud. The letters aresequential, so the drummer learns the alphabet. The "123" option works in asimilar way. There are also options for musical notes and a traditional drumsound. An off control and two volume settings will be welcomed by parents whoare sure to hear this drum being played with repeatedly. If the young drummerpauses for a while, the friendly voice plays a little song or asks to be playedwith again. --John Moe ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great drum!
our little munchkin started to play with this drum on his own immediately (he's six months). i love that it's easy for him to play with, it lights up, counts numbers and the alphabet, simon says, etc. so worth the money (although i payed $25 at buy buy baby in nyc).

2-0 out of 5 stars Leapfrog Songs
Yes, they're all the same.Once you have one toy, you have all of them. All the Leapfrog toys have the same songs.I would spend your money in one of the more expensive Leapfrog toys, and forget buying the rest, unless you love listening to the songs over and over and over. However, I do like the Leapfrog learning toys. Please, Leapfrog, invest your money in more/different songs and sounds!

4-0 out of 5 stars Good for those learning to sit
We received this as a gift for our son when he was around 5 1/2 months and starting to sit alone. He really enjoyed it initially and I like the fact that it would respond to his thumping even if it was upside down or on it's side.

However, I do agree that it turns itself off way too quickly and it is a tad repetitive. ... Read more

Hey, even Michael Jordan was a toddler once. And just think of how many more millions he might have made if he had practiced on a hoop-and-ball set like this one when he was a height-challenged hoopster. With the Easy Score Basketball set those impromptu dunking clinics will be challenging, but no longer impossible. Future MJs can now practice their skills with ease, because the Easy Score adjusts to height, has a size-appropriate hoop, and is made of durable plastic. The over-size rim (1 foot across, with a nylon hoop) can be set anywhere, as it only rises from 2.5 to 4 feet high, putting lay-ups and treys just within reach. A sturdy 15-by-19-inch base keeps the basket from tipping; this is important for young hoopsters who get a little too exuberant. The set comes with a tot-sized (6-inch-wide) rubber b-ball.--Paul Hughes ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun while it lasted
My son got this when he was 3. My 5 year old daughter thought it would be fun to lay it down and sit on it like it was a horse or something. The basket cracked. Before that, the tiny red piece of plastic that is used to adjust the height was lost, so it had to be used at the shortest height. We found the piece, and my husband superglued the basket. It worked until the first slam-dunk. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best purchases we've made
I couldn't help but add my 2 cents worth. We bought this for our 14 month old son. He absolutely loves it. We have had it for three months and he still plays with it every day. Our 3 year old loves to get into the action too and Dad and the kids literally spend hours playing ball. I would recommend it to anyone. It is a great idea for inside physical activity during the cold months, ours was in the living room, it's nice because it doesn't take up too much space.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best Christmas present!
I bought thisbasketball set for my son's Christmas gift this year. My husband loves it as much as my son! When my husband gets home from work they spend at least 30 mins playing ball.It is easy to adjust and the ball is just right for his little hands. We live in an apartment so it stays inside and we don't have sand in it.This is hands down the most used toy in his very very very extensive collection! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars So much Fun
We have this car for my Grandson who is 1 yr old. He has so much fun with it, we have a hard time getting him to get off. He learned how to make it move very quickly. The wheels could be alittle more heavy duty for driving in the grass and on gravel.
I think the size of the car is more suited for 1 to a small 2 year old. 3 year olds would be to big to sit in the seat, unless they are unually small for their age.

3-0 out of 5 stars son loves but read before buying
My son and I absolutely love this car.He was so excited when he first got into it (he's 1).There are only two problems with it though- there is no on/off switch, so even when he's not in it he can press the button and make it go.Well that's not good because he rolled over his feet once and the second time he was leaning against it and pressed the button and it dragged him and caused him to fall. The other thing also is that the sides aren't high enough so he sticks his feet out of the sides. Also, if your child is tall (mine is 31 inches) they may not fit comfortable in the car.

5-0 out of 5 stars My Son Loves This Car!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Love this toy!
I received this toy at my baby shower. It is now my 5 month old daughter's favorite toy.She likes to be the one to make it "sing."

5-0 out of 5 stars Super toy that brings smiles!
My son absolutely loves this toy!I noticed that the manu. age for this is a lot higher, but we have used it since our baby was weeks old.He loves starring at it & smiling. Now that he's a few months, he reaches for it, touches it, etc.The sound is great & a wonderful product if you are looking for some classical music.

5-0 out of 5 stars My Autistic 9yr old loves it!
It is so hard to find a toy for my son, that will catch his interest AND take a beating! He is Autistic and half blind, so it's tough to find something he will play with for any length of time. He loves music, and the sound quality is great. He also loves things that light up. Because his vision is bad, he has to mouth objects and such, and this is right up his alley! He can chew on the plastic chew top, and finger all the different textures. It is easy for him to activate, and it shuts off by itself when he is done. The price was great, I love this toy company. We have had it for 3 days now, so far so good. ... Read more

The SUV of wagons, the Radio Flyer Discovery Wagon--in traditional redwith the familiar Radio Flyer logo on each side--features everything thatexplorative, toy-hauling kids need for getting around in style. The 8-inchdiameter, solid rubber wheels support a durable, 3-foot-long plastic wagon thatcan tote up to two small kids--or a full load of beach or yard toys--inside itsroomy coach. There's even enough space for the neighbors' kids to toss theirgear. An oversize 34-inch handle makes the massive wagon easy to direct in astraight path or around corners. --Diane Beall ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Sturdy, Fun, Worth the money
Last Spring my husband and I bought this wagon for an up and coming camping trip for our then 1 1/2 year old and our 3 1/2 year old. This wagon is a lot of fun.It has a compartment to put drinks or other items in. The sides are nice and high so no one can fall out and it is wide enough for them to sit with their legs crossed. It also has a high clearance which we were shocked by.We were able to go over curbs and high dirt area's with no problem. The handle is nice and long so your not bending down to pull the wagon. It isn't metal so you don't have to worry about paint chipping, scratches or dents. It wipes clean or you can just hose it off. The sides come off so you can store it easier or put it in your trunk or storage compartment on your RV. You can also use it to move around other things besides children. We use it to move around bags of dirt, potting soil, wood chips, etc. in the back yard. This isn't a small wagon that they will grow out of any time soon. We are very happy with this wagon and would suggest buying it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth Every Dollar!
We did quite a bit of comparison shopping when choosing this wagon for our son's first birthday. Although it was expensive - we liked this wagon for its size (it can easily pull 3 kids), storage compartment, cup holders, and easy ride. It ha sgone on trips all over the neighborhood, even on vacation to the beach - where I personally had no issues pulling it across the sand loaded w/ baby, towels, etc. As for it's durability, my husband even used it temporarily as a 2nd wheelbarrow to move bricks until I caught him in the act. The plastic (which is very tough stuff) wasn't even scratched! We love this wagon and expect to enjopy it for many years to come.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great wagon for kids and dogs too !
We just got this wagon and we have not stopped using it, not only does my son love it, our dogs love it too! We have two Boston Terrier Dogs who love sitting it in and they love going for walks in it. That is how roomy this wagon is - you can fit a child and two dogs! It keeps my son busy watching the dogs so we are all happy. It also fits two children very comfortably as we used it when he friend came over last week, they were both so content, they seemed to really enjoy the smooth ride and the room they both had ! I would recommend this to anyone, I know we are going to get a lot of use out of this one !I really liked this wagon because my son is only 14 months and I was concerned about him bumping his head on the old fashioned kind, this one is great ! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars I love this trike
This is the best trike ever.I had a radio flyer, but it was so heavy, my 2 1/2 year-old son could bearly make it go, could hardly reach the pedals, and he never wanted to use it.Now that he has this trike, he loves riding it.He can go really fast on it, so he really feels a sense of accomplishment, demonstrated by the huge smile on his face when he rides. It doesn't tip over easily like the other trike either. One note, he is on the tall side, but we still had to use the smallest settings in order for him to reach the pedals.Lots of room to grow with this trike, but someone younger than 2 1/2 may not be able to reach the pedals at first.Once they can reach, though, it is very easy to pedal. I highly recommend this trike, and what a great price!

4-0 out of 5 stars Tricycle
This trike was particularly nice for riding indoors in the basement. It is small enough to fit around furniture and through doorways.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nice Trike!
We bought this Trike for our son for Christmas. We saw this same trike for $60 in a local store. It went together pretty easily. The trike is good sized, which with our tall 2 yo son, has been a problem with other riding toys.He actually has room to grow and we didn't even have to place the seat at the tallest point. It is easy for him to push the pedals and he can go pretty fast. The tires slip a little on the asphalt occassionally and sometimes he gets going so fast that his feet can keep up with the pedals. But the trike is VERY stable, doesn't tip, and is very sturdy.I would recommend this to others! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Quick N EZ - Best Buy
I am an avid cyclist who needed to maximize my time in the saddle by including my son on my rides. I searched all the brands from Wike on down to the Schwinn's and Insteps. I am a big believer in the right equipment for the right job.

Value:
This trailer although it may not last forever, it should last a long time and is well worth the money spent; $79 at Target. Especially compared to trailers at $300 and up. Bottom line is how much do you bike, and how frequently will you use the trailer?

Durability:
I used it for the second half of last season (2004) and it still looks new and has little wear. I put approximately 1000 miles on it so far. On days where my son is not with me I load it up with approx. 65lbs of weight (50lb bag of charcoal and a case of Poland Spring water)and use it as a trainer. This weight approximates two small children and it holds up just fine.

Fun Factor;
My son loves going out on rides with me. It has a small pouch/cup holder sewn on each side of the interior, great for a sippy cup and a bag of snacks. It also has a trunk of sorts in the back. A flap that has snaps all around the perimeter of the rear, big enough to put an extra change of clothes and picnic things, or sand toys if you are visiting a playground on your journey.

Safety;
It comes with a basic small reflector on the bottom left of the rear. My opinion is this is not visible enough, get yourself a blinking reflector type light, approx. $10-15 in any bike shop.Mounting it may be a bit tricky, I cut the fabric at the bottom and clamped it on to the frame. It also comes with that neon orange flag, which can be spotted a mile away. And the base colors of blue and yellow stand out pretty good too. The harness,/hinge is a spring (with a safety cable through the center of the spring) that flexes, if you lay the bike down the trailer stays upright. The spring also flexes when you are riding to absorb some of the shifting of weight when your little guys move around back there, making it more comfortable that solid connections.

Pros:
1) Price, $79, you can't beat the price/value anywhere.
2) Quite, I'm used to a bike that makes no noise, and this did not let me down.
3) Bright colored fabric, help you to be seen, along with the neon orange flag.
4) Your own personal cheering team to "Go faster Daddy", and you really can't beat that!

Cons:
1) Floor is made from same fabric as the main compartment, this might be the first failure in the unit as my son gets bigger and heavier. Some more expensive models use a plastic tray as a base.
2) Needs a better light in the rear.
3) Once you get your child one of these , you will not be able to go for a solo ride anymore without dealing with tears and pleads to go "ridin" too.

One very important recommendation, after you install your hardware and hook up the trailer, do yourself and your child a favor and put something heavier than your child in the back. Then ride it for a good long ride. Do a few panic stops, brake on corners, get used to the weight back there, it is very different than what you are used to without it. Don't learn while your little Man or Lady is back there.

Be safe and ride till your legs fall off.

Dave

4-0 out of 5 stars Family outings are a breeze!
We live in an area where we can bike to pretty much everyting, and we were a little concerned about using a traditional child "seat" on our bikes. This trailer has turned out to be a fantastic addition, well worth the money. We have had our son in it since he was 7 1/2 months old (he is now 18 mos) and we have used it to bike to breakfast, to the store, etc. There is plenty of storage room in the back, and the shield is great for misty/windy days. I wouldn't recommend using it with infants unable to hold themselves up well, as the harness is not that strong, but once they can sit up without support the trailer is great! We have no worries about our son toppling out in case we were to fall (which has happened, and the trailer stays upright), either. Enjoy it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Buy!
My dh and I have been researching the different types and brands of infant/toddler bike trailers out there for several months. All along I kept looking at this Instep Quick 'n EZ trailer and thinking it was the best out there. Not only did I find it to constantly receive high marks on quality, but I also found it to be quite inexpensive. Not cheap and shotty, just not nearly as expensive as some of the other makes and models. After all our research, we decided on this trailer, and so my dd received it for her 1st birthday a couple of weeks ago. And let me tell you, we have NOT been disappointed with our choice. The trailer is very well made, extremely easy to put together/take apart, a cinch to attach, and even easier to pull. There is plenty of room in the trailer for us to stash our daughter's bottles, a diaper and wipes (incase she needs a change), and couple of toys for her to play with along the way. The 5pt harness is a breeze to work and leaves no question as to weather baby is in securely or not. This is definately a great trailer to own!! We give it 2 Thumbs Up and 5 stars across the board! :D ... Read more

Editorial Review

I have to admit that I am no fan of kids' electronic music makers--hearing the same bleeping and blatting tunes for hours on end is a sure-fire way to drive me crazy. But the Sing With Me Magic Cube has a number of charming features that set it above the fray. First of all, the 5-inch cube itself is a pleasing object, ruggedly constructed, with rounded rubber corners that invite the hands. Then there's the music: "Old McDonald," "Itsy Bitsy Spider," and other standard kids' songs played on five instruments (piano, guitar, drums, tuba, and flute). The innovation here is that as each tune plays, instruments can be added to or taken out of the mix with a push of the matching button. It's a clever trick that might help develop a child's ear for the different parts of music. One minor complaint is that the Orchestra button behaves differently from the instrument buttons: when you push it, the song that's playing stops and a new one starts. This is one of those toys that claims to be based on the latest brain research and promises to stimulate your child's mental development through music, but even if it's not much more than a glorified rattle, it will amuse your child without driving you too crazy. Requires three AA batteries (not included). --David Stoesz ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My child loves it! I love it!
This is a great toy. It is really durrable, easy to work and safe. It has been dropped a lot. It's even been dropped on cement and down wooden stairs. I got it from a garage sale and her 3 kids were really rough with it she said. And it isn't cracked, scuffed or broken in any way. I'd recommend this toy for every child!

5-0 out of 5 stars A very nice musical toy
I've been very pleased with my purchase of the Sing with Me Magic Cube.I gave it to my niece on her 1st birthday. Her father is a musician and her mother is a singer, so I wanted a gift that would help promote musical interests. She loves the Baby Einstein videos (e.g. Baby Mozart) which feature classical music, so I decided to get her something that would teach her many of the songs that she is likely to sing when she starts school in several years.

She loves singing and dancing to all the songs on this cube.(BTW, the toy is purely instrumental only ... no vocals ... she has learned the words from others around her who sing the words to the music.)I don't think she understands exactly how to turn the individual instruments on and off yet, but she has lots of fun hitting all the buttons trying to get it to play her two favorite songs -- Old Macdonalds Farm and Itsy Bitsy Spider.

This toy is sure to last for a very long time, as it has thick rubber knobbie corners that cushion it when dropped.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent even for adults
I bought this toy for my one year old nephew, but am having a hard time letting go. It is soooo cute and I find myself singing along with it and choosing the instruments I want to hear. I know I have to let it go... but it's going to be hard. This toy is as great as other reviews indicate. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My baby's first toy
This was the first toy my little boy took any notice of.I have a very cute picture of him at 2 months old reaching out and discovering the crinkly wings. Now at 5 months, it's his constant companion in the car.He loves to feel the different textured wings, teeth on the rings at the bottom, or crunch the crinkly wings.
All of the Lamaze toys are great, but Freddy is my favorite so far.It may seem a little pricey at first, but you'll get more mileage out of Freddy than out of 5 other, cheaper stuffed toys. And as other reviewers have mentioned - he's machine washable, so you don't have to worry about him getting dirty.

5-0 out of 5 stars Must Have!!!
This is a must have toy for your little one.I purchased this about a month ago and it is my daughter's favorite toy.It has to go everywhere with her!She is teething so Freddie is constantly in her mouth and I make sure to inspect him quite frequently and have not found any problems at all!!Defintely worth the money!

5-0 out of 5 stars This toy is AWESOME!!
I bought this toy because it was so bright and colorful with a lot of different items to pull and play with.

My daughter LOVED starring at this toy ever since she was a month and a half old. This is definitely her favorite toy. Now at 3 months... she's constantly holding it in her hands and trying to "eat" it. haha.

I sometimes put it in her basinette when she's going to take a nap... so she'll have something to look at.

I LOVE this toy! I highly recommend it... even though it's pricey (almost stopped me from buying it) but it's well worth the money. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth It!!!
This is the best thing besides the bouncer that my daughter loves. My daughter can spend an hour or more underneath it!She "trys" to talk to the bird when it hasn't moved in awhile!(She's almost 3months old but loved it since Day 1. Soon she'll be able to explore all the stuff on the mat when she gets more tummy time! I totally recommend this item!!!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Well worth it!
Love this playmat... the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it lacks a "kicking option".To take care of that problem I bought the wind chimes in the playmat area and they hook to this gym and my baby can kick at those. He loves to watch the bird and it is pleasant to listen to.

5-0 out of 5 stars fantastic toy for baby
My daughter loves this toy. The bird at the top flutters on when the baby kicks the bars. The music and chirping sounds are both quite nice. The toys that come with it to hang from the bars are very nice too. I like that the toy hangers are kind of horseshoe-shaped, so that if baby pulls hard enough the toy will come off the bars and she can play with it. We've taken a couple of them and put them on the carseat.

My 3 y.o. old plays roughly with it, and so far it has held up!

This classic is still spinnin' after all these years--and now it's better than ever. The Sit 'n Spin we all know and love has been spruced up for the new millennium with flashing lights and fun tunes. Just press any of the four buttons on the handle, and you're spinning to one of six classic tunes. Sure, it may be a little snazzier than you remember (thanks to the new colors), but the goal remains the same: hours of dizzying enjoyment. Your kids will love taking this whirling wonder for a spin just as much as you'll enjoy watching them. 4-0 out of 5 stars We like this toy
We got this for my daughter as part of her Christmas this past year at 3 years old and she loves it. My son had one of the old ones...we liked it too, but it did not have the lights and sounds. It is very durable too. I think it is a good choice.

2-0 out of 5 stars They ruined a great classic toy!
I didn't think it was possible, but the manufacturer made the Sit N Spin worse when they added lights and sound. It USED to be a great toy! First, the music is the most obnoxious rockabilly-ish stuff I've ever heard.Second, its way too loud for the children's ears, in my opinion.Third, there is no "off" button for the lights/music (every parent's nightmare). We bought this for our daughter for Christmas, and I took the batteries out after the first day. What a relief!!

2-0 out of 5 stars can be hazardous
Our 15 month old daughter loves her sit and spin, LOVES IT!.We didn't put batteries in it because we read the complaints about the music. She used it every day.The problem is that whenever we go to move it, the top hand wheel pops off, so you have to pick it up by the entire base.Lesson learned, easy fix, just use more care.Until last night, when she was gleefully smiling and spinning, the hand wheel popped off, and she banged her head on the floor. My baby's not much of a crier, but boy did she cry after that!I may try the liquid nails that another person recommended, because she loves this toy sooo much.Just be aware of the hazard! ...
