1-0 out of 5 stars Don'twaste your money!!Buy something else instead!
I just purchased this toy for my 9 month old daughter a few days ago.I wasn't sure if I shoud because the reviews didn't look to great. But My daughter loves music and it just looks like fun so I decided to try it out.Well she liked it when it was still in the box and then for the rest of the day after I put it together. And after that she hasn't touched it since. She could care less about this toy. There just isn't enough to do on it.If she was younger and wasn't able to do all the things she can she would probably like it but it is just boring for my 9 month old daughter. So I am returning it to the store to get something she will actually like.So if your baby is not very eaisly entertained (which some babys are) then don't bother with this boring toy.

3-0 out of 5 stars Annoying fun for your child at first....
This toy was very exciting for my son when we purchased it for him, however, this is one of the most annoying toys you will ever see.The music, though happy and fun at first, gets old VERY quickly. There are three settings but it's always the same song! We prayed for the batteries to die or our son to lose interest which of course he didn't for awhile-HE loved it!He played with it non-stop for days and it was ALWAYS the first toy he went to at playtime.

The problem we have with this toy is that the dancing monkey is too much of a temptation for children. Our son grabbed the monkey and held on until he stopped dancing and started making a funny clicking noise.Once he realized he could stop the monkey, the music and HIS dancing became second fiddle, his goal was to stop that monkey.Well after ONLY 2 or 3 times of this happening the monkey no longer dances the way he used to, the piano/music section ALWAYS seems like the batteries are low, and it basically just stopped working correctly.I am not sure if he broke a wire or it just wore out. This was a relatively expensive toy to "break" so easily and quickly after only about 3 weeks.

If I had it to do again, I think I would have left this one on the shelf. He really enjoyed it at first, now it's just pathetic to hear and see him trying to play with it as the "damaged" monkey spins and dances to the saddened, only partially audible music.......

4-0 out of 5 stars she loves it!
We got this for our daughter for christmas..she was 6 months then. She loved to look at the lights and monkey then. It actually helped her to sit on her own.She loves to play it and make the monkey dance. We have since moved it up to standing..by far this is her favorite toy! First thing she ever pulled up on!She goes to it mult times a day and just grins ear to ear when the monkey starts to dance. The only thing I dont like is that the "horns" don't play anything. She often grabs ahold of them and they dont do anything. ... Editorial Review

For the toddler who's just discovering construction toys, theMega Blocks Wagon is a simple way to take building materials from siteto site. Topped with a sturdy plastic handle, the wagon is just over afoot high and runs on four 6-inch plastic wheels. Inside are 50 assortedMega Blocks. (These are mostly plain blocks but include a car and twopeople blocks.) The side of the wagon has a row of Mega Blocksknobs, so grand structures can be created right on the top of thewagon. --Richard Farr ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it
my son got this for christmas when he was 14 months old and he loved it. He would play with it for hours. He got into the wagon and just sat there and played with the blocks forever. i could not believe it cause he dont usually play with onetoy for very long before he moves on to another one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun & 2 in 1!
Our little one had fine motor skill delays & didn't like the smaller bricks we had; so we decided to try Mega bloks. This wagon is a hit!Yes, it makes a huge mess when he dumps it over every morning, but he is now also learning to put the bloks IN!We got some extra bloks; so the wagon is overflowing. It's durable enough that we'll bring it outside this spring.I noticed the wagon has holes in the bottom, and that probably allows water to drain out if you leave it outside. We peeled off the big sticker easily & like the big red wagon--expecting it to last a while! What a bargain!

3-0 out of 5 stars Good toy but the wagon is dangerous
I bought this toy for my 13-month old son.He loves playing with the blocks, and it's very durable. However, he also loves climbing into the wagon. It wasn't designed for toddlers to sit inside the wagon, but it's just the right size. The wagon has a way of tipping backward suddenly, and is especially dangerous if someone pulls it while a child is sitting inside. There is a tiny picture on the wagon showing that children are not meant to sit inside.I think that's a bit ridiculous. What child can resist climbing inside a wagon that is the perfect size? So, I'd have to say that I cannot recommend this wagon, only because children are very tempted to use it in ways it was not designed. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Dino-mite
The activity Dino made my newborn smile and helped him to learn to sit up.Even now that he is older, he will see it laying on the back of the couch and will crawl to it and crinkle some of the fabric or will just smile at the colors or when I squeeze the nose to make a roaring sound.I highly recommend it, especially for the 0-4 month age group.

5-0 out of 5 stars Makes a great gift
I think this is a great product. It supports my son when he is sitting up and he loves to play with it. I have noticed older children like to curl up with it while watching television. I think this would make a nice gift because it is unique. Unlike most baby toys and products, we will get years of use out of the Activity Dino.

1-0 out of 5 stars Expensive rubbish - waste of money !
We recently ordered Dino for our 6 month old son, thinking we could use it initially to help him sit up and then later as a fun rough-and-tumble toy. What arrived was a small overstuffed sock with a few "crinkly" spines. The quality of the material was cheap and nasty and the construction is appauling. As for the "roar" of the nose - we could barely hear a squeak. Needless to say, we returned this "toy" immediately. Don't waste your money - a pillow with a decorative face would be just as good and at least the cover would be washable ! AWFUL !!!!! ... Read more

Editorial Review

Excellent as a first bike, the Ready-to-Ride comes in bright, friendly primary colors and the classic Radio Flyer stylings that remind parents of the little red tricycles of their youths. As with all Radio Flyer trikes, the Ready-to-Ride is built to last with a durable steel frame and heavy-duty treaded tires. Plastic bucket seats provide a comfortable ride and rubber handles offer a secure grip. Kids can tow a doll or load toys into the yellow storage bin on back and announce that they're coming through with the loud bell on the handlebar. Parents will appreciate the trike's low center of gravity and controlled turning radius that prevents it from tipping during speedy turns. The lightweight and portable Ready-to-Ride also easily folds up for storage and has a handy grip in the back of the seat for carrying or hanging. A reliable safety latch ensures that the trike won't begin to fold up midway through a ride. The Ready-to-Ride trike comes fully assembled and is covered by a one-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Cute Bike But High Seat A Problem
Looking for a 2nd Tricycle for my 2 yr. old daughter's daycare, we went to TRU last evening to take a look. She absolutely loved the look of this one, but unfortunately could not swing her leg over the seat to get on and off easily. We have a 10" Radio Flyer Classic at home that she has no problem with and rides all over the place (we love it). Also, while riding in the store the handlebar bumped against something and tipped right over (as almost all do).I was also concerned with the plastic compartment on the back as my crazy girl would be standing on it (I'm sure)and could break it or hurt herself.

After checking all of them out I decided to go with the Kiddi-o Simba ST1 for only $29.99, didn't want to spend to much since this will be an extra bike.Just called the store, they had one left and it's assembled and waiting for me.Hopefully it will be worth all the research.

2-0 out of 5 stars great trike, when working
My daughter got this tricycle as a gift.It was great- even though the handle doesn't help turn the bike, my 2 year old was really enjoying it.After less than 6 months of use however, the wheel fell off the bike.I've heard it's nearly impossible to find this part and essentially IT is non-existent.

I don't have the owners manual and I haven't been able to use the bike since. It just sits in our garage gathering up dust.I'll probably donate it just to get it out of our garage.maybe a mechanic can make a part for it.

1-0 out of 5 stars It Does Tip Easily.
My husband and I went to the local Toysrus store to see which side of the mixed reviews is right. This is a cute tricycle for sure. When we were looking at it in the store, an employee aproached us and said, "I wouldn't recommend you that.Unfortunately, it tips easily." I pushed one side of the handle down, and it did tip SO easily. The employee went on and said, "I'm a mother, too.I can't recommend something I wouldn't buy for my own children."She showed us another trike, which was around $60, if I remember right. This was MUCH stabler than the Fold-2-Go, and didn't move a bit even when I pushed one side hard enough in the attempt to make it tip.We didn't make any purchase that day after all, but we sure appreciated the honesty and kindness of the store clerk. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Messy clean fun...thank goodness the crayons wipe up easily
Our son is now 21 months-old and has had this toy for almost 6 months. He still insists on it every bathtime. He has learned to give Elmo a "bath" with the soap and washcloth (not included) and scribbles gleefully on the sides of the tub with the soap crayons. He even has learned to wipe the tub clean with his washcloth, saving daddy the tedium of doing it himself. My only problem with this is that it is difficult for little and big fingers to remove the crayons from the plastic "Dorothy" storage container. The opening needs to be a wee bit wider.

4-0 out of 5 stars Bath + crayons+ Elmo = FUN for my little one!
My 16 month old loves to color with crayons. When I saw this, I had to get it for her.She loves it!Elmo floats and dries up very easily. The crayon marks wash off the bath walls with no problem. The only problem she has with it is getting her tiny fingers into the little fish bowl to retreive the crayons.Otherwise this is a big hit in our house.

4-0 out of 5 stars Elmo and crayons make bath time fun!
We recently bought our 20 month old this for Christmas and she loves it. Elmo can hang from the shower head to dry, the Dorthey fish bowl has holes in the bottom to drain crayons, and it is all around fun! My daughter loves writing on the bath tub walls - what kid wouldn't? My only problem is it is hard for little ones to reach so far into the fishbowl for the crayons.. otherwise a WINNER! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars perfect gift
My daughter received this piano for her 1st birthday and she absolutely LOVES it!!!She will play with it every day and she and her daddy take turns singing into the microphone. She even carries it with her when she goes to another room. This piano is my daughter's favorite toy!I don't know who likes it more, my daughter or my husband (and we've had it for 6 months).

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy!
This is one of the best toys ever.We bought this for our son for his 1st birthday. He is now 18 months old and STILL loves to play with it.Not only that, but it seems like he finds a new feature on it every time.My husband loves to play with it, too, so it keeps them both busy!haha!

2-0 out of 5 stars Drives me insane...but my son loves it
Personally, I hate this toy.Of all the toys my 8 month old son has that make noise, this is the most obnoxious. When I finally can't take it anymore, I have to shut it off and lure my son to another toy.

My son, on the other hand, LOVES it.He's not old enough to be coordinated with it yet, but he loves the lights and constant music/noise.It is only because he seems to love it so much that I haven't thown it out the window.

If you're looking for a piano for your child, get a different one. This isn't a piano as much as it is just a music machine. If nothing else, for your own sanity get a different one!Not to mention the microphone broke after about 2 months....

Little ones who crave the feel of a real car will love scooting about in this sturdy aqua and yellow plastic automobile. Like the cartoon character Fred Flintstone, children use the steering wheel for direction control (front wheels turn easily) while making the car go with their foot power. Only the driver's-side door opens and children can sit on a bench-style seat with legs poking down to the ground for easy feet access. Dash accessories include a pretend car key, a beeping horn button, a decal gas gauge, and a speedometer. An ample storage compartment in the back can hold pretend tools, emergency road supplies, or simply a snack for the road. 5-0 out of 5 stars Grand Coupe deserves it name!
When I was little I used to have one now I am going to get one for my brother. I work at a day care and they have one and all the kids do is fight over who gets to ride in the big boy car. It is a must have if you have a little kid. They all love it. They are probably going to buy another one for the day car because it is so popular. They got a Gamecube at the day care, but everyone still insists on using the Grand Coupe. There are kids from 6 months up to 7 years to older kids ride on top. No one has ever gotten hurt. It is the best toy. One time they where fighting over who got to go in it and they accidently pulled of the door the company sent a new door with all the hardware! It is a great buy!

5-0 out of 5 stars Good quality
This car seems to be really sturdy and built better than other brands. My toddlers love it and fight over who gets to ride.

5-0 out of 5 stars Discerning Toddler, with discerning Dad, highly approve
My Daughter has an elevated sense of taste, even at 2 1/2.
She liked, but didn't love, the original Cozy Coupe. She wanted the Grand Coupe, no questions. She and I ordered it from Amazon, through ToysRus. The order was simple, the delivery was exactly as forecast. The assembly was also simple, a screw gun helps, although I didn't try it without one.
As far as the car itself goes after a week or so of use....
Four thumbs up!!!!
She rides in it, watches her favorite programming in it, plays independently with it, we play together with it, if I let her she'd likely sleep in there too. She's thrilled, which, of course, means that I am thrilled.
The trunk, or rumble seat, is a big plus, you'd be surprised how much a little thing like that means to a little person. Scruffy the dog loves it back there, a ton of necklaces, bracelets, rings, and two or three juice cups fit nicely too.
I will do ANYTHING for her, if you feel thusly, buy it, it's the Benz of ride ons.
Gotta get a gas pump, mileage is not as good as we expected. Five Stars anyway.

Elmo has certainly sold out. The fuzzy red Muppet is dressed up in a chicken suit, with only his red face and hands showing. The fuzzy suit is bright yellow with a white chest, orange feet, and a red comb on the hood. Push the button on Elmo's left foot and his high-pitched voice encourages little ones to do the Chicken Dance with him. His arms flap and his knees bounce up and down as he sings the lines, "Elmo wants to be a chicken, Elmo wants to be a duck" to the familiar, but annoying, tune. Press the button on his right foot and Elmo will cluck like a chicken and move his head. Note that these two actions are the only ones Elmo does; there is no volume control, repeatedly hitting a button will cause a "rap effect," and the body under the chicken suit is hard plastic, which hurts his huggability factor. --Pam Lauer ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Good while it lasted
Since he was an infant, our son has LOVED the Chicken Dance, and when he was 5.5 months we bought him Chicken Dance Elmo.At first he thought it was odd, but then he started to like it and we knew that whenever he was upset Elmo could get him to calm down.Eventually, at 7 months he went through a phase where he no longer wanted to be changed on his changing table.Wouldn't you know, Elmo was the the one toy that could occupy him long enough for us to change his diaper.

My BIG disappointment with Elmo is that he is not very durable. We used him for entertainment purposes only and after two months he just stoppped singing. He still clucks like a chicken if you press his foot, but when you press the other foot nothing happens (no song and dance). We thought it needed more batteries but after trying that its clear that Emlo is broken.Which is too bad since we really liked this toy.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great product for young kids!
I bought this toy for my neice on her 1st birthday.Out of all the awesome, expensive toys that she's gotten, this was her favorite! The best $15 I ever spent! It goes everywhere with her, and she's learned how to dance from watching and playing with Elmo.I loved this item so much I'm buying one for my baby (well actually it's for me)!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great toy!
I received this activity center at my baby shower for my daughter. It was a total surprise since I hadn't asked for one.I am so glad that I received this center!

My daughter started to play with this at 11 months old.She absolutely loved it.The music was perfect for her - not too loud or too soft.Except for 1 piece that the child is supposed to lift up (too hard to do even for a mommy!), the movable parts are great.

We never put this toy into her crib so I can't say whether or not it's appropriate. We played with this in the mornings as part of her routine. She really enjoyed it & missed it when I finally donated it to another baby.

4-0 out of 5 stars Cute toy
My daughter received this as a gift and loves it.She often plays with it in her crib and every few months, we flip sides so she does not get bored.I wish the side for the older kids had more "activity" type toys rather than mostly music.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it!
I bought this for my daughter when she was just a few months old and she absolutely loves it.We have not used it as a crib toy, only on the floor. This way it is easier to flip from side to side and take advantage of both sides. 5-0 out of 5 stars Baby Loves It!
I picked this book up in a desperate attempt to entertain my 10 month old baby on long road trips. He is a big paper eater, so even board books can't withstand his gnawing. This book definately did the trick. He can bite on it all he wants and it looks as good as new. After five months, my 15 mo old still loves this book and it's a big hit at playgroup.

5-0 out of 5 stars A fun book for a musical child
My 9-month-old daughter was entranced with this book when we showed it to her in the store, and so we had to buy it.It has kept her entertained in the car on many road trips and even at home.It was her favorite toy for a long time. She would rock and bob her head to the nursury rhyme songs. She loved pushing the buttons to make things go.She learned "star" from this book, and to "moo" like the cow.She points at the pictures of dogs and cats. She is now 15 months old and though it is no longer the favorite toy, she still enjoys playing with it.

The book is educational in that it rewards pushing buttons, sliding switches, and turning pages with noises and songs. If your child likes musical toys, she or he would like this toy.As a parent, I did not find this to be very annoying. The music was catchy and the little voice of the person singing was cute. The book asks questions ("where is the cow?") to prompt baby to point or push buttons or say the answer. It takes AA batteries, and ours have lasted a long time (only being replaced once in 6 months), despite a lot of play time.

Your baby will love it!

4-0 out of 5 stars Cute and durable
My son got this as a gift for his 1st birthday and he loves the way the book lights up and reads to him.The interaction is great because he can play with the peices in the story.I love that the plastic is so durable. He has other baby books that just don't pass the test.

My only gripe is that there is no "off" switch and that can be annoying. It automatically shuts off after a while but if the button on the front cover gets pressed or the book wasn't closed, you can accidently start it up.Happens all the time in the baby bag. ... Read more

I was given this toy fairly early on and my twins are now about a year old.In the early days, the boys enjoyed batting the bell-ball around if the major bulk of the toy was held for them. However, overall this toy has been a disappointment. It does not hold their attention much.I think it is too bulky to be a good shaking toy for a young infant, and they don't yet seem interested in pulling on the various toy give-and-take attachments.Perhaps a lighter version would be more successful with them. My guys are big fans of Pupsqueak and Freddy the Firefly from Lamaze, though. Those toys I would give 5 stars absolutely.

5-0 out of 5 stars Must have for your 5 month old

Editorial Review

With its fully retro design, faithfully reproduced down to thesmallest detail, this cherry-red, rubber-wheeled tricycle is anundisputed classic. Apparently they do still make them like theyused to. The rugged trike features a chrome front fender; a double-deck,step-in back (so kids can climb onto the smooth metal seat in a snap);red-and-white tassels on the rubber-coated handlebars; a 12-inch-high,steel-spoked wheel; and even an old-fashioned bell. --Paul Hughes ... 2-0 out of 5 stars HORRIBLE!!!
My 3 year old can't reach the petals (she is considered tall for her age). She is also terrified to ride this horrible tricycle because it tips over!Nostaglia is about all it is good for!

5-0 out of 5 stars Give this trike a chance!
We bought this tricycle for my 16 month old son and we couldn't be happier. It is a little big for him right now so we put blocks on the pedals so he could put his feet flat, not tippy-toed. But immediately after we put it together (which only took about 30 minutes from opening the box to completion)he jumped on and started "walking" the trike with his feet on the ground. We were amazed since he has only SEEN bicycles, not ever ridden them. I love the retro look of this trike! It reminds me of the old days and my first trike that I have seen in pictures. I'm sure we'll get plenty of use out of this bike, we love it so far!

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice Trike
This was a birthday present for my two year old. She was a little short to push the peddles all the way at first, but quickly grew into it. She is now almost three and has gotten a lot of use of this. It is sturdy (a bit heavy if tipped over-which it's hard to do), but does rust easily in humid weather, even when kept in a carport. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Beautifully Made Puzzle
The quality of this puzzle is outstanding! The wood is thicker than most puzzles and the sturdy knobs and high-quality finish will make this last for many years. The farm theme appeals to my daughter and she enjoys playing with this.Pictures underneath the puzzle pieces make it easier for little ones to complete.I highly recommend this puzzle.

5-0 out of 5 stars My son loves this puzzle
My son received this for his 1st birthday and loves it.It has been a great teaching tool too.I ask him where is the duck and he picks up the duck piece, he is even getting pretty good at putting the pieces back in place - in only a month.

5-0 out of 5 stars Heirloom Quality Puzzle
Lights, Camera, Interaction! makes beautiful products and this puzzle is no exception. The wood makes it durable and attractive, the pictures under the pieces make it appropriate for babies as young as 12 months, and the knobs are easy for small hands to manage. The pieces are cut to fit perfectly, so that they slide into place easily once the child has aligned it correctly.

My 12 month old baby is beginning to enjoy this, and my three year old still plays with it too.I can't recommend the toys and puzzles made by this company, also known as Melissa and Doug, highly enough. They are all excellent quality and provide fun learning opportunities for kids. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars 9 month old having a great time with this
My baby clearly isn't bowling yet, but is having a great time knocking these down with her hands and shaking them to hear the different sounds. If we set them up on the sofa across the room she will cruise/crawl to them in order to know them over and pick them up and shake them. The ball is a good size for her hands, and also makes noise.I suppose when she's older we'll eventually get to the bowling aspect.

5-0 out of 5 stars So darn cute!
My 19 month-old son got this as a gift from his great-grandmother.In the three weeks since it arrived at the house, he has been walking around with one or more of the pins under his arm.He takes them to bed with him and I can hear him over the monitor making kissing noises with them.Suffice it to say, he LOVES it.My 5 month-old is starting to love it as well (especially the cow).I would recommend it for any baby or toddler, especially an affectionate one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Cute
When I saw this bowling set in the store I just had to buy it for my 14 month old daughter. We have had it for three days and she just got the hang of rolling the ball to knock over the pins. The ball and pins are so soft; I think this toy would be appropriate for a younger baby too. The pins are numbered so this toy will be great when she starts learning her numbers. I can see her using this toy for at least another year. I would recommend this toy for anyone with a child under 2. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Oh my gosh, they all love it!
Got this for my 1 year old but she has to fight to get ahold of it from her 3 yr old and 5 year old sisters!Very sturdy, doesn't tip over and rolls great over carpet. The older kids are big and the toy is obviously well designed to hold a 55lb kid with no problem. When my 1 yr old does get a chance, she is copying the older kids and trying get a leg over (with some help) and is able to easly scoot it along using her toes.Bought based on the other reviews and this one pans out.Nice to find a toy that lasts longer (both interest and durablity) than just a few months.

4-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful toy for in the house...
This is yet another wonderful yard sale find! My son has had this toy for 5 months now and plays with it several times a day. It is light enough that he is able to drag it around the house, sit on it and push it easily, and lately I have had to discourage him from standing on the seat like a circus performer on horseback.

It is very durable, my grandparents found it at a yard sale, and the only blemish on it is a small scratch on the wood. The little hub covers worry me as a choking hazard, but they seem to be attached really firmly so I rest a little more easily.

Wonderful purchase, especially for the $3.00 paid for it second hand!

5-0 out of 5 stars A wonderful toy that grows with your child!
My daughter got this toy when she was about 9 months old.She turned it around backwards and held onto the handles to learn how to walk. She would squeal with delight and do laps around our house. She was able to swing the horse around and go in another direction if she got stuck in a corner. She is now 2 1/2 and races the horse all over the house and outside. This is a great toy that was worth every penny! ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money
My 2 year old son loves fish, bubbles and baths so I assumed he would love this toy.He is afraid of it because it is too loud and it barely makes any bubbles.Don't waste your money on it!

1-0 out of 5 stars Scared my son
This toy is really loud - enough that it actually scared my 16 month old son.He refused to go near it and started clinging to me.Plus, it barely generates any bubbles.

1-0 out of 5 stars Bubblemaker stops working after using one time.
Purchased this product hoping to have lots of bubble fun in the tub.I was wrong. The first time we used it it worked great.Turned it off and went to turn it on again and it stopped working.Returned to the store for another one and the next one did the same thing.I also found that it was a bit to loud for such a small toy.I also found that it didn't make much for bubbles. What a wasit of money and my time having to return it twice. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great first "pet"...
This turtle is wonderful. It has gotten us through many restaurants and car rides. My son has just loved his turtle.Buy a few for shower gifts while it is on sale.It is is great for tummy time of course but it is also a great toy that keeps my son's interest when others do not.Just an all around great toy!

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Deal
This toy is very entertaining for my little girl at a great price! She is 5 1/2 months old now and has been playing with this toy for a few months now.Even when she hated tummy time she would stand it for a few minutes and try to look at herself in the mirror. Now that she can roll over onto her belly on her own, she loves tummy time and this is one of her favorite toys for it.She will try to scoot around the floor and follow it if it starts to move away from her and is very amused with the baby in the mirror. For some reason, even when she was tiny and I would just show it to her when she was laying down, her favorite part has always been the turtles smiling face.

5-0 out of 5 stars So Adorable
After reading other reviews, this was one thing I picked as a present from my husband's parents. The mirror really is very clear, and I just love how cute it is.(I haven't had my baby yet, so I can't comment on whether the baby will like it, I can comment on that when the time comes). ... Read more

Editorial Review

Welcome Baby to the brave new world of interactive books with this LeapPad-styled talking picture book system. As with regular books, grownups will want to introduce their tots to the concept, sitting together at first and pointing out pictures and words. Soon they can advance to the interactive part: touching words, objects, holes, icons, or textured spots on the pages to hear descriptive phrases, music, words identified, and fun sounds. More than 100 songs can be heard, and with the purchase of additional stories and cartridges, the opportunities for fun learning are endless. The Baby Animals book (included) is simple and colorful, with recognizable critters in their own settings. The system allows three modes to play: Story, Explore, and Surprise. Let Baby’s fingers do the exploring! Four AA batteries required (not included). --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Annoying Toy of the Year
I bought Power Touch Baby for my little girl when she was 13 months old.We have all of her toys in our living room for supervising purposes. The PTB drove us insane! It repeats its self over and over, it will change what it is saying mid-word if a different object is touched(I don't think we ever heard it say a complete sentence), the book falls out, and even though the PTB has never been banged around, it will still get "stuck" on a word for no reason. It needs an award for the Annoying Toy of the Year and should be sold along with a hammer to destroy it with.

4-0 out of 5 stars cute toy, but.....
I bought this for my daughter's 1st birthday. I agree with the other reviews that the book is not secure and my daughter always pulls it out. I wish I would have waited to buy this toy. If your child is still slapping things and not pointing yet, you should wait. My daughter slappes the book and all the noises go off at once(very annoying and fustrating). But, I will not say this is a terrible toy. It's really cute and educational. I'm just going to wait a couple more months before I try using it with my daughter again, and I'm sure she'll love it!! :)

5-0 out of 5 stars so easy to use!
My daughter recieved this as a present, and I wish I had gotten it sooner. We had gotten a leapfrog a year ago, and she never liked it.After struggling with the leapfrog system, it was so pleasant to have a simple system where the pages are recognized automatically and she can put the book in and out by herself. The leapfrog is going into the closet! ...
