5-0 out of 5 stars best toy
My son got this for Christmas when he was 19 months old.He loves it.It is the best.I would highly recomend this to anyone.Hours of fun!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun Flash the Fire Truck
This is a great toy for kids. I bought this for a friend's son and he loves it! He is fascinated with the lights and sounds. This is a durable product and it entertains the kids for hours.
For the person who gave this one star, it was inappropriate to buy this product for a 14 month old child. There is a reason for the recommended age on all toys.

5-0 out of 5 stars Another great FP toy!
I had to write this review after I read a previous reviewer who gave this toy 1 star. My advice to that reviewer: READ THE AGE RECOMMENDATION! Don't call and complain to Fisher-Price that your child's hand got pinched when you buy a toy that is for 18 months up for a 14-month-old.

I am always impressed with the durability and imagination-inspiring design of FP Little People toys. You will never be sorry when you purchase them. I still have sets from the 70's when I was a child!

2-0 out of 5 stars Appears fun to kids at first but is also dangerous
Our one-year-old nephew received the ball popper as a birthday gift this past weekend, and all of the 3 and 4-year-old kids at the party were quickly excited and interested in helping keep the balls moving and flowing. It's looks like a great toy to play with, but it was surprising how many times the balls kept shooting out all over the place. It seems sort of "out-of-control" for a 9-month-old (min. age indicated on the box) to play with.At first we considered getting this toy for a friend's child, since it seemed to be such a hit with all of the kids. However, the most horrifying aspect of this toy is that a child's arm can get caught inside the hard, plastic hose where the balls are supposed to be dropped. The suction from the motor keeps the child's arm trapped inside the hose until the toy is shut off.We witnessed this happen to two of the kids who were playing with the toy. Also, sometimes when the toy was turned on, the air motion reversed for no reason so that the balls didn't pop out like they were supposed to.This didn't really seem to present a problem with the toy; it was just puzzling.I won't be buying the toy for our friend's child because of the suction issue.

4-0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun
My one year old daughter and everyone who ever saw this toy thought it was lots of fun.The ball popping produced many days of laughter. The only problem I found is that sometimes the toy came apart.

5-0 out of 5 stars my kids love this toy!

we got this as a christmas gift for my 2 kids who where 4 months and 17 months at the time . even at 4 months the second i turned it on he was smiling and cooing he loves it. and my daughter loves to play with all the time its her most favorite toy she plays with all the time. also the handle is very easy for her to push down by herself and after a month of me showing her she can do it all by her self.now hes 8 months and she 21 they really love it he plays with it all the time. the only problem is i need to getv another one because they are fighting over it and she takes it fom him all the time! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!
At age twelve, I can ride this twist car and STILL enjoy it! Hours can be spent playing with this toy, and you just CAN NOT get tired of it! Well worth the price. The fun this car provides (to a family of five kids I will add) is AMAZING! I highly recomend this toy to anyone who is interested in a outdoor toy that is not noisy and does appeal to both the younger and the older age ranges. This car does not work well on carpet.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun Fun Fun
My 3 year old grandson loves this toy. It was very easy to put together and it is very sturdy.

It didn't take long for him to figure out how to make it go straight and also how to make it spin around.

All we need now is to have the maker make a large one for the adults too!!! Wouldn't it be fun to have one of our own and play with the kids?

5-0 out of 5 stars exceptional fun for the older child
This is a pretty cool car.It is well constructed and kids love to ride this crazy car.My kids love to push each other and it has a nice smooth ride.I would highly recommend this over some other plastic type vehicle. ... Read more

This plastic table is just the thing for toddler tea parties inthe yard--or regular meals in the kitchen. Screw the four fat pink legs(it's easy, thanks to wide threads) into the plain white top, and youhave a simple, sturdy, easy-to-clean surface that's 22 inches squareand 19 inches high. The two identical blue chairs (10 inches high atthe seat, 22 inches at the comfortably rounded back) have legs thatsplay slightly, so they're very stable. The table is easy to take apartfor flat storage. You'll need to pull up some extra chairs if a lot ofstuffed animals want to join the party. --Richard Farr ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Much easier to assemble than other Little Tikes items!
The best thing about this table is all you have to do is screw in the legs and it's ready! It is durable, I'm always sitting at the table with my daughter, and it is super easy to clean.I have no complaints about this product.

4-0 out of 5 stars Just perfect for little ones
Our two year old wanted a place to eat her cookies, color and watch tv. This Little Tikes table and chairs set is perfect for her.No tools needed for assembly, just twist legs on, and it's ready to use! There are two sturdy blue chairs with a chunky design so they're pretty stable on the floor, but of course watch for little climbers who will manage to tip over if not supervised. The white table top wipes off easily, making arts and crafts projects or drippy puddings a quick clean up.If you have to take this along for travel, it takes less than 30 seconds to disassemble.Great value, great product by a trusted name.

5-0 out of 5 stars It would be nicer if....
This set is great for toddlers - durable, portable, cleanable, all that stuff. The thing I wish they could improve upon is the weight of the chairs.Becuase the chairs are hollow plastic, they slide extremely easily and little bottoms have a hard time steadying the chair when they try to sit.If there was some way to weigh down the legs of these chairs (just a little) I think the tot would be less frustrated when trying to sit.

Otherwise, great value - and of course Little Tikes furniture will outlast us all, so the set is well worth the cost. ... Read more

This bright red and blue slide is one of those backyard investments that children will incorporate into their play for years on end. The small four-step hike up to the top (36 inches high) makes it safe for toddlers, but the 60-inch-long slide will keep kids as old as 5 well entertained. A slight dip in the slide controls speed while adding a playful tummy-tickle feeling. Even after they turn 5 years old, children will probably find ways to use the slide in obstacle-course play and chase games. Because it's made of thick plastic, it can stay outdoors season after season without fading, rusting, or splintering. --Gail Hudson ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Come on Little Tikes...fix these assembly issues
Once together, slide was great...but come on now, Little Tikes -- what is the matter with you guys?Whoever invented their "hammer this pole into the metal clamp caps" approach should be fired ASAP.I've noticed they use this on other toys as well...It's extremely difficult to hammer those on (at least with other toys the pole piece was metal, which could actually bend the metal clamps... this one was plastic)...

I nearly returned it just on principle...only the eager eyes of my son saved it.He loves it now, but I don't plan on buying any more toys from Little Tikes without validating it does not use this assembly method.

5-0 out of 5 stars My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves it!!!!!!!!!!!!
We picked it up today and my Husband assembled it in 22 minutes. My Daughter loves it. It's really strong and sturdy. My 15 month old is a little young to go up the stairs by himself but he too loves going down the slide with my assistance. I'm glad we bought it.

4-0 out of 5 stars VERY hard to assemble
It took three adults an hour to almost assemble the slide. We still haven't figured out how to get the base connected, and hammering the red caps onto the pole proved impossible. We ended up filing down the ends of the pole and smashing the caps on. They are barely on though, so I am using duct tape over them. Putting the bar through the holes was also quite a challenge. Very frustrating. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My son LOVES it!!
We bought this for our son for Christmas, at the time he was 1 1/2. We kept it inside for him to practice in the basement until it was warm enough to go outside. Once he got outside he loved it! I think he has had to ride it almost everyday since we took it outside, and it is still going strong. Every night we charge it so it is ready to go for the next day, and even the battery is still good. We have had others that riding on the grass wears the battery down really fast, but we have had no problems with this one.
My son is now two, and I'm not sure how much longer he will be able to ride it. He is only 30 pounds and is getting a little too big for it. We are now thinking of purchasing a bigger 4-wheeler. I will say you need to watch them close, he had tipped it backwards a couple of times trying to go up not very steep hills. We did get him a helmet so he knows he has to wear one when he gets older.
All around this is a great toy for smaller kids that want to imitate their older siblings!

he love to ride it, he love to push the button....

One of the first steps in learning to read is being able torecognize and label symbols. While your baby may not be naming theentire alphabet by the time he's 1 year old, this interlocking setcertainly offers a firm foundation for future reading. Each12-by-12-inch piece contains an easy-to-grasp, pullout letter of thealphabet; there are 50 pieces in all. Parents may need to help youngtoddlers with assembling the floor mat, since it requires more detailedpuzzle-fitting skills. But children as young as 1 year old can learn tofit the letters into the slots by themselves. This also makes acomfortable tumbling mat or a nicely cushioned play area. The set comesin a clear vinyl storage case with a zip closure. --HannahReynolds ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent toy!
I have a 21 month old son who loves this mat!It keeps him busy long enough for me to get things done around the house!I recommend this to anyone with a busy body child!

5-0 out of 5 stars All For Fun
I love this mat! I got this for my 9 month old daughter and she immediately took to it. She loved the vibrant colors and the fact that she can pull out the letters, within a couple of days she found out that she could pull the whole mat appart (a lot of work for the parent...but all comepletely worth it). Friends have pulled it appart and have used it as a hop-scotch board and built things out of it. The foam is a little flimsy though, so I would recomend watching children when they are teething and figuring out the capabilities of their teeth. But over all I love this and have recomended it to many people.

5-0 out of 5 stars If you have hardwood floors, buy this
We have hardwood floors, which are nice, but when you have a baby who wants to be on the floor, it's hard on everyone. So, we went out and bought this. It's much better than the floor, but it's not carpeting. They're pretty durable - my son has taken all of the letters and the numbers out and put them back and they don't seem to be very worn yet!(He's 18 months and we've had it for at least 12 months.)For a long time, that was one of the things he enjoyed doing the most, taking the letters out, walking around with them, and chewing on them.He would also put them back in later, but not as often as he would take them out.I didn't really worry much about the small pieces - the small circles for the inside of the eight, six, zero, b's, etc - since we're with him when he plays with this. But if you are, you can simply take them out and put them away for later.Of course, that means that your child will be able to pull out the letters and numbers more easily, but that's part of the fun. (Little ones have a hard time getting much of a gripe on the letters and numbers when they're pushed flush with the blocks.)Also, I think that it's nice to have the alphabet out and some numbers. My one complaint is that the one we got, when it's put together has six vertical stripes through all the letters, but then the numbers don't continue it.I guess I wish ours was more random, which some are. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars This phone is a great toy!
I don't understrand everyones comments on not being able to hear the phone once the plastic thing in the back is removed.I really wanted this toy to go with my daughters laugh and learn home so I went to the store to look at it anyway to see what all the fuss was about. So at the store I reached behind the phone and ripped out the plastic thing and it sounds fine to me. It is plenty loud enough. So I bought it and my 9 month old daughter loves it.I don't know maybe fisher price has improved the product or something but mine is plenty loud enough.

5-0 out of 5 stars How I solved the volume issue.
I liked this toy for my 8 month old because it relates the pushed buttons (number or alphabet depending on the play mode) by visually showing them on the screen and audio ably saying them as there are shown; I thought what a great teaching tool. When I got it home and opened I noticed the volume was not as loud as it was in the store, I thought it was broken. I was considering returning it, until I realized a manufacture's pull tab (located in the back beside the screw to open the battery door) had been automatically removed and decreased the volume. I simply reinserted the tab, cut off the excess and taped up the opening. If you've already thrown away the tab anything you can make a 1½" to 2" long thin plastic strip from will work. Since I bought this for its visual effects I don't consider it a hold to her ear toy and I won't encourage her to use it that way, if as she gets older it becomes a problem, I'll re-adjust the volume. But for now my solution works for us.

2-0 out of 5 stars Definetly not loud enough!
I have a 3 year old and a 9 month old. They both like the phone but lose interest pretty quickly. Because they can't hear anything the phone is saying. I think they would play with it more if the volume was louder. ... Read more

Designed to encourage early role play, this small, colorful playground is centered on a giant tic-tac-toe board, with rolling x's and o's, that sits atop a yellow, open-air sandbox. Michael can climb the ladder to the upper platform while Sarah Lynn goes down the red slide and giggles. Other fun features include a musical merry-go-round, a purple tire swing, and a yellow tricycle. This would be an entertaining, developmentally rich toy for preschoolers. 5-0 out of 5 stars Tired of Cheap Toys
I've tried "cheaper" brands of toys and I've learned the hard way that when it comes to toys, I get what I pay for.Fisher Price toys are fun, and most importantly, they are durable.Anything else, my 3 and 1/2 year old can destroy in minutes, and she's not really rough, just a normal kid. These toys last for years.I bought this one new and a few others at garage sales, and I am never disappointed. ... We got this toy for our 18 month old for Easter. She adores it!She could ride on this for hours and be happy. The only thing I do not like about it is that the noises it makes are very loud and there is no volume control switch. But, other than that it is fabulous!I highly recommend it!

Our 3 year old daughter loves Boots. She talks to Boots and carries him around the house. We give it 5 stars for educational value because when she talks to Boots she acts out scenes from her Dora videos. This helps her alot with her speech skills and imagination. 5-0 out of 5 stars a table for ALL the kids!
We wanted a picnic syled table for our 3 year old b/g twins and our 8 month old b/b twins. We were in luck when finding this gem, our basement is ALWAYS cluttered so the more the compact the better. Well they love this table (though the 8 month olds pull up a little tikes chair, they need a back). There are no chairs that get in the way and windup away from the table. You can fit alot of kids here, and there is a nice workspace. We use this for arts and crafts and for eating snacks. Its really easy to collaps and to bring back up, (we keep it under the couch downstairs, just barely fits! well the couch is about 1 1/2 inches infront of the wall, so its a little extra room). The kids climb on it, color on it, jump off and on it, and pull it around, (its light weight) yet the table still held up and looks like new. I likethat its not another piece of furniture that you have to keep out constantly, (i.e kitchens, toy houses, tool benches, ect...) this my easle and my pop-up tent are the only pieces of toddler furniture/large toys that fold away for easy storage. I recomend this for a family with multiple children, or for an outdoor table, though I wouldnt recomend this for a kids bedroom table, as its a little TOO big for that!

This is an excellent, versatile and sturdy toy that has been played with thoroughly for over 3 yrs.Younger children can use the toy as a kind of pushcart or to steady themselves while walking (obviously you'll want to keep this one away from any stairs). They can also flip open the seat and play with the busy-box under the seat, push the buttons and hear the sounds on the steering wheel and put the little people in the corresponding shaped holes in the back.As children get more mobile, they can take this toy outside and use it as a foot-powered ride-on.My three-year-old twins love this car and have played with it repeatedly at different stages of their development.Well worth it for the variety, durability and pure enjoyment it's given our kids.Bright colors, cleans easily.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Toy
This was bought for our son as he started to learn how to walk.It is a great walker-toy while also being a great stationary toy.We actually leave the seat off most of the time as right now he loves to sit IN the middle area and play with other toys or the steering wheel, or even sit backwards and put toys in the open slots and pull them out again.Wide enough to be sturdy for walking around, yet also light enough that if he is rough-housing & it tips it doesn't hurt him, almost funny to him in fact. Also, the fact that it is lightweight allows him to learn to control it as the front wheels turn - good for developing his ability to stand & manipulate the toy. Also, the removable section with buttons & lights is great to take in the car.At 13 mos, he is still too short to sit on the seat & touch the floor, but I feel as that is better for him right now due to his level of development.I can see this being a long-used toy & we are very happy! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars nice car not good for hilly areas
My husband and I bought this car for our daughter for christmas...she was 13 months old.We used it for the first time a few eeks ago when the snow finally melted and was warm enough to be outside without gloves. We thought it would be good because it goes with a push button and had a handle to steer.Well I was dissapointed...the car barely moves on the grass or going uphill, also when you let go of the button the car will coast downhill which is upsetting.I charged it exactly to the instructions and everything.I guess if you live on a flat area then it would be a great buy. However if you have hilly terrain i'd wait and get a more powerful one as this isn't much fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it
My daughter received this as a gift for her first birthday.SHE loves her car. When we get home she goes over to her car and she sits in it and presses the button. We have been around the block in it and she loves it!!!One thing that I did not like about the car is that even when the parent controll is on the child can still press their button and go - minor detail. This is by far her favorite gift.

5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE THIS CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My parents bought this for my 15 1/2 month old, who doesn't like sit on toys.We were alittle concerned whether he would like it.He was so excited, he was ready to jump on it as soon as it was done.He loves to go over to it and sit in the seat to tell me he wants to drive. He also loves to drive it in front of the television and sit and watch his favorite shows in it. ... Editorial Review

Nothing makes a little one feel all grown up more than his or her very own bed. This toddler bed features solid wood construction--no particle board here--with a soft natural finish. The headboard and footboard are nicely detailed, with lots of curved edges. This attention to detail and safety continues right on through the slats in the headboard, footboard, and two guardrails, which are all gently rounded. Designed to fit a standard full-size crib mattress, the bed measures 56-1/2 inches long, 29 inches wide, and 28-1/4 inches high. The headboard, footboard, and guardrails all come fully assembled, although these need to be put together with the seven support slats (of which there are three different types) and the two side rails that form the base of the bed. Easy to follow instructions (with lots of diagrams) as well as everything needed to complete the job--screws, barrel nuts, and even an Allen wrench--are all included. This toddler bed is not designed for children under 15 months old or over 50 pounds. --David Morel ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars I think this is a good toddler bed
We bought this for our daughter as soon as she turned 2. She is 3 now, and it has been a good bed. It is very durable, my husband had no problem putting it together. My daughter loves it, and it is very nice looking. The only thing is that she moves around a lot in her sleep, and the rails weren't really enough to keep her in place...sometimes she would be half way off the bed! We are going to get her a twin bed very soon, when she turns 4 but for us, it has been a good one. I would just say that if your toddler moves around "alot" at night, then these rails don't go far enough down. We thought about buying the kind of rails that fold down and fit under the mattress and adding them near the bottom.

2-0 out of 5 stars Assembly nightmare
The finished product is nice but assembly was a nightmare. Most childrens products are a snap but this was not, the instructions are ridiculous and because its all allen wrench screws it gets loose easily.

2-0 out of 5 stars I like the bed, but
it didn't go together too easily, there was a crack in the wood. All the parts were there, which was a plus after all of the reviews I read prior to this. The bed has sharp corners, so I'm sometimes worried that she'll split her head open, but so far so good. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for
We bought this for our daughter when she was a year old. This is not something I would recommend for a child who is still learning to walk- here's why:a quick re-enactment... Daughter takes lid off toy, gets up to practice her walking skills, falls on the box part of toy and gets swollen lip.The shapes should be just a tiny bit smaller, sometimes if they're at a slight angle it seems they don't want to fit, very frustrating for a small child who is actually trying to put the right shape in the right hole, but it won't fit.We ended up buying a better made sorting toy for about $30 and have had no complaints.

4-0 out of 5 stars a staple
We started playing with this toy at around 7-8 mos.The thing I like most about it is that we have another Fisher-Price shape sorter and the shapes are interchangeable so instead of only 12 shapes we have double that!Kate likes banging the blocks together, dumping the blocks, talking into the container, etc. It's not glamourous but a good basic toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great sturdy, easy to clean, fun toy

I bought this block sorter when when our daughter was 7 months old. She couldn't yet understand how the shapes fit into the lid so we just kept the lid off and she'd play with the blocks and the bucket itself.

Our daughter loves to chew on the bucket and puts her face into it and babbles. She likes the sound of it.She chews on the blocks and likes to bang them together. She also loves to play with the lid.The set comes with 12 blocks in red, blue and green circles, squares, triangles and stars). Our daughter can easily pick up the blocks and throw them around.

I really like that the blocks clean easily with soap and water.I can throw the entire lot into the sink and not worry about tiny parts or batteries.I can see that our daughter will enjoy this toy for a LONG time to come. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Don'twaste your money!!Buy something else instead!
I just purchased this toy for my 9 month old daughter a few days ago.I wasn't sure if I shoud because the reviews didn't look to great. But My daughter loves music and it just looks like fun so I decided to try it out.Well she liked it when it was still in the box and then for the rest of the day after I put it together. And after that she hasn't touched it since. She could care less about this toy. There just isn't enough to do on it.If she was younger and wasn't able to do all the things she can she would probably like it but it is just boring for my 9 month old daughter. So I am returning it to the store to get something she will actually like.So if your baby is not very eaisly entertained (which some babys are) then don't bother with this boring toy.

3-0 out of 5 stars Annoying fun for your child at first....
This toy was very exciting for my son when we purchased it for him, however, this is one of the most annoying toys you will ever see.The music, though happy and fun at first, gets old VERY quickly. There are three settings but it's always the same song! We prayed for the batteries to die or our son to lose interest which of course he didn't for awhile-HE loved it!He played with it non-stop for days and it was ALWAYS the first toy he went to at playtime.

The problem we have with this toy is that the dancing monkey is too much of a temptation for children. Our son grabbed the monkey and held on until he stopped dancing and started making a funny clicking noise.Once he realized he could stop the monkey, the music and HIS dancing became second fiddle, his goal was to stop that monkey.Well after ONLY 2 or 3 times of this happening the monkey no longer dances the way he used to, the piano/music section ALWAYS seems like the batteries are low, and it basically just stopped working correctly.I am not sure if he broke a wire or it just wore out. This was a relatively expensive toy to "break" so easily and quickly after only about 3 weeks.

If I had it to do again, I think I would have left this one on the shelf. He really enjoyed it at first, now it's just pathetic to hear and see him trying to play with it as the "damaged" monkey spins and dances to the saddened, only partially audible music.......

4-0 out of 5 stars she loves it!
We got this for our daughter for christmas..she was 6 months then. She loved to look at the lights and monkey then. It actually helped her to sit on her own.She loves to play it and make the monkey dance. We have since moved it up to standing..by far this is her favorite toy! First thing she ever pulled up on!She goes to it mult times a day and just grins ear to ear when the monkey starts to dance. The only thing I dont like is that the "horns" don't play anything. She often grabs ahold of them and they dont do anything. ...
