5-0 out of 5 stars Madison Playard- Tattersall
My husband and I love the Madison Playard. The colors fit well in our family room and our precious baby boy loves it.We looked at the more expensive playards and we seriously considered purchasing the Eddie Bauer Playard, however, we changed our minds once we saw the Madison playard at the store. We have used the playard everyday for the past two weeks and we have no complaints as of now.

5-0 out of 5 stars NEW MOM / Vineland ,NJ
Im so happy with my playard. All my friends that are new moms like to research different brands on baby items. They all say the best playard out on the market is the Madison playard by Evenflo. This is the only one that provides music and a night light to soothe baby to sleep or play.It even has delightful little stuffed animals. The color and texture is beautiful! The Secure straps on the playard and changing pad is great so baby stays in place. The palyard is sturdy and strong. I feel safe putting my baby in it. The Extra storage pockets look like it blends in so good it does not stand out like most palyards I've seen. This is a playard I will defintley keep. I love it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it!
We purchased this when it became too much of a struggle to move the bassinet between upstairs and downstairs everyday. With the bassinet portion, the changing table and the music box, it saved me from going up and downstairs all day - which was a lifesaver after a c-sect! The colors are neutral and good for either a boy or a girl. The music box and nightlight portion can be removed and used other places. I recommend this to everyone! ... Read more

Editorial Review

A parent treasures the time when baby sleeps. Not only is it a time for calm reflection on the joys of parenting and observing the natural beauty of an infant, it's a chance to catch a much needed break. But transporting a sleeping baby from a car seat into a stroller is asking for trouble: blown naps, loud screams, and all around frustration. This car seat carrier could help everyone stay a little more rested. Simply pop the car seat into the rack, and it becomes a stroller. It features four wheels on the front and two on the back, dual cup holders, and a large storage basket for carrying a diaper bag or numerous individual items. It's also collapsible for easy travel. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Extremely easy and lightweight
This is all about convenience, and that it is. It is light so it is easy to put in and out of car, the car seat clicks right in(we have the BabyTrend and it fits snugly) so baby is easily placed on frame without waking, folds easily(once you try it a few times), it has a large basket so shopping is easy and has cupholders and tray for Mom which also make this nice. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it really is not an all around stroller. If you want to use this outdoors it is not so great. We have used this for walks outdoors and it works but bumpy. We are going to get an all-terrain for that but while baby is small and for easy terrain this stroller is the way to go.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great, but only recommend with the Baby Trend car seat
We absolutely LOVE the Snap 'N Go and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stroller. It's very easy to use and extremely light.I love it b/c I can use it when we go for walks or run errands. It's not a hassle to carry around and it fits in a small trunk very easily. The infant seat literally "snaps" right in and is very secure.I do, however, think that it works best with the Baby Trend infant carrier and not well with others. We have friends who originally purchased the Graco Snugride to use with the Snap N Go, but it just didn't seem secure at all . . . very wobbly. They ended up switching car seats and are much happier.

I can understand people wanting a stroller that grows with your child, but the travel systems are so cumbersome and this is SO easy to use.We have a lightweight stroller to use when we want to use something other than the Snap N Go and it works just fine.

This is, by far, the best item that we registered for.

5-0 out of 5 stars Snap 'N Go Car seat Carrier
I got this as a baby shower gift and was told by many that I should return it and get one that would grow with the baby.I am Very glad that I did not take their advice. My child was born in the middle of the winter and it was so nice not to have to take her out of her car seat and place her into a stroller.I would recomend this type of stroller for any new or soon to be parents.I have had many parents ask me about it while I'm out running errands and so many have said that they wanted to go get one.

It is extremely easy to use and as a single mom I can handle it very easily and it it a life saver no to have to wake a sleeping child. It folds and unfolds very easily and I didn't have much trouble assembling it.I did have to ask a friend for some help but she was able to look at the instructions and go you have that piece backwards (maybe due to slep depervation or being a true blond on my part I was unable to see that)Once I turned the piece around it was ready to go.The sraps are an added saftey feature that I hate to say, but I have only used once.Once the seat is snaped into place it will not release until you pull the release on the back of the car seat. And yes I did almost tip it over once while trying to push through hard packed snow and the car seat stayed put even without the straps attached.I was a bit frazzeld but my baby acted like nothing out of the ordinary happened.

I would highly recommend it to anyone. I have been using it for 7 months now and am going to miss it very shortly when she outgrows her carseat.(I do have 4 other friends that are trying to outbid one another to get it next). It has made my life much easier.

Editorial Review

Many high-tech toys start with a fun and fascinating idea only to make it frustratingly complicated in the execution. Leave it to LEGO to make a technologically advanced toy fun to play with. The enormous 718-piece LEGO Mindstorms Robotic Invention System lets you construct a variety of moving robot vehicles and then program them from your Windows 98- or Windows Me-compatible computer. The robots are all based around a bright yellow basic unit, which serves as the functional heart of whatever is being built. The brick receives commands from the computer via an infrared tower unit. The computer interface is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. What's most impressive about the system, however, is the variety of robots that can be built. There are detailed instructions for each one, and since these are LEGOs, builders are free to come up with an endless variety. --John Moe ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars An infant's dream stroller
I am on my 3rd child and was committed to getting a stroller with a reversable handle. If you think about it, when you walk around the block with your baby, at some point, he has to be facing the sun. This was always an issue with my 1st two. They didn't like the sun on them/in their eyes. I would toss a blanket over the front of the stroller to shade them, but they didn't want their view blocked and the blanket trapped warmth in the stroller.
With this in mind, there are limited strollers to meet your needs. This one was the best price and best reviewed, and after getting it- I LOVE IT. It is chuck full of bells and whistles. From storage trays and cup holders to easy-access storage, it is full of convienence.A surprise was how the stroller reverses! Instead of the handle flipping, the carriage part actually pops out and you turn it around, which we love. It is like having a bassinet on wheels. And, I love how easy it is to fold strollers these days. The fabric is so soft and snuggly-unlike the canvas so often found. You want your baby to feel as snuggly in any resting spot you make for him as he is in your arms and all the padding and cush definately achieve that.
It is BIG, but you can detach the bassinet to help accomodate storage.Given its size, it is not for everyone. Our family in NYC definately needs something more compact for subways and tiny apartment living. But, for a home in the suburbs with an SUV this is top notch luxury for a baby.

3-0 out of 5 stars Kinda sorta wanted to love it...
I searched high & low for a stroller that would fit my needs. I found this one at the local Babies R Us & fell in love with it. It is extremely easy to steer. I loved that the car seat was so easy to latch and un latch. Its easy to clean and my daughter just loves the big giant canopy that keeps the sun off of her. However there are a few important CONS. IT'S HUGE!!Way huge. It folds very easy and unfolds just as easy, but when it does it doesnt fit in the back of a Toyota Corolla- Nor a Honda Accord. It doesn't fold flat enough for the trunk of these two cars. And when it does fold, its extremely Heavy for you to load and unload. And the wheels lie akward, if you dont fold it just righ, the wheels get stuck in the mesh basket. Another thing is that the wheels have a mind of their own. They are so easy to maneuver that at times they each go in their own direction. It has great possibilities for long term use, but at times its such a hassle, Ive considred purchasing a light weight stroller for convinience!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Infant Stroller
Hi.I had the 2003 Coachrider model, before they spruced it up.My son is now 19 months old.I loved the stroller except for a few things.I absolutely loved the fact that the seat is reversible, and that it turns into a carriage. It was so important to me to be able toface my baby, he wasn't ready to face out until he was 10 months.I also loved that the footrest is adjustable so that his little legs did not have to hang down. When he was an infant we used the stroller as a basinet inside, and when we went to Florida when he was 4 months old he slept in it at night time for a week, and was comfortably sound asleep. The material is great and so padded.

I know alot of people have complained that this is a big stroller, but that is so obvious to the eye when looking at it in a store, so if you don't want a big stroller than why would you buy one in the beginning (theres no hiding or disguising the fact that this is a large stroller when its on display. This is a silly complaint. If you do not mind a big stroller, and have room for it in your car, this is such a great comfotable stroller for a baby.My son napped in this stroller all the time, and was very happy to sit in his stroller. There is plenty of storage room in the basket, its great, especially when you go on full day outings.

Some of the things that were annoying about the coachrider i see in the new model they have fixed.Like the fact that there is now a peek a boo spot in the hood, so you can see your baby when they are facing out.The fact that the basket now pulls down so you can get into it if the seat is reclined or reversed. The old models did not have this.

The worst problem i had with my stroller was that the wheels squeaked terribly, you wanted to scream from the noise. However i learned from graco's customer service that this was a common problems and that they fixed the wheel problem in the new models.I have to mention that when i called customer service about this they were amazing, so nice, and sent me knew wheels right away!

One thing they changed on the new model that i do not like is that they made the cozy boot cover half the size, its ridiculous. On my stroller the cover went right up to the hood, so my baby inside was nice and cozy and protected from the cold, let me tell you this was amazing. Now i see the cover only goes halfway, looks like it would only cover up to the baby's knees.

The hood was great too for protection, except now the hood does not dome high enough to fit over his head.My son is 35 in tall now, although only 19 months old and he just barely fits in the stroller, his head is already starting to pop higher than the top of the back of the seat. Also, i think they should of made the snack bar rotate/snap on and off instead of having to use both hands to squeeze the buttons on each side and then at the same time pull out the long bar from where its attached. This is now a pain because he no longer can just slide in the stroller, sliding his legs under the snack bar.

I have to say we no longer use this stroller.Once he got to about 11 months old i had to get a lighter weight stroller because i had shoulder surgery and the weight of pushing this heavy stroller with my son in it was too straining.I got a peg perego p3 pliko, and have been very happy with it since. However i would not have liked the pliko when he was a infant because it is not reversible, its a really good toddler stroller, andn the coachrider is a really really good infant stroller. PS - We were happy with the graco snugride car seat that came with the coachrider, the only thing was that my son grew out of the carseat before he was 4 months old (he was already 26 in).

3-0 out of 5 stars Car seat doesn't fit into shopping carts
We have this carseat/stroller system and overall we love it. The stroller is very easy to open/close and it has everything we need. Our only complaint is that the car seat does not fit into any shopping carts at any of the stores we shop at. So, if I am grocery shopping I have to carry my baby in the snugli or wait to have a babysitter or my husband home to watch the baby. That is one convenience that I miss.

4-0 out of 5 stars I like it, but don't love it!
I registered for this travel system mainly for the price but also because it was the smallest I came across in my search for one. I am a short person and didn't want a big bulky stroller that I wouldn't be able to reach over the handle or carry in and out of the car. I like the pattern, it's very cute. I love just snapping the carrier seat onto the base or onto the stroller, it makes for easier trips! I like how it closes with one hand, however the scraping of the tray on the ground is a little annoying, which can only be avoided by using 2 hands. I also like pulling it out of the trunk and having it snap into place without any added work on my part. The thing that bothers me the most about this travel system is the headrest in the carrier seat. It has never kept my daughters head from rolling around and I've had to roll up a blanket to stick around her head to do the job instead!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Price, Great Travel system!!!
I love this system! The pattern is great for a boy or a girl.My DD loves it!The carseat is wonderful, with a headrest for infants so their head stays somewhat stationary. The stroller itself is lightweight and I can open it with one hand if necessary.I have scraped the tray several times when I close it though. That is not something that I am terribly concerned with since it is my mistake that I scratched the tray.I am just more careful now!The large storage basket is great.I use it for grocery shopping all the time! The carseat locks in easily and is very easy to remove.I also love the fact that this comes with the stationary base.DH has one in his truck and one in my car and all we have to move is the seat!Wonderful! That is the only thing that I will miss when we move to a convertible!

Eddie Bauer's convertible car seat is designed for safety, comfort, versatility, and style. For comfort and safety, the seat features a four-point seat belt harness (the LATCH system, but it is also UAS and SAU-system approved), which provides security with or without a car's belt system. The chair also has 3-position reclining, and adjustable head/neck and armrests. For versatility, the convertible Tech Elite has three-in-one seat positioning. It accommodates rear-facing positions (for babies 1-12 months, minimum 19 inches), front-facing (for toddlers up to 24 months), and booster seating for kids up to 100 pounds, or 52 inches. For style, the all fabric surface employs muted, soothing colors that also look good in your nicer cars. 5-0 out of 5 stars We love this seat!
This seat is wonderful. It is EXTREMELY EASY to install.People who are having trouble installing it can also take it to thier local police or state police station and they will make sure that you have installed it correctly. My son sits in this seat comfortably he has been using it for about4 1/2 months and we have had no problems. We were recently in a car accident and I can tell you that this car seat definately did it's job.My son was fine.I hate that I will have to purchase a new car seat since we were in an accident but, I will definately purchase this seat again.

1-0 out of 5 stars Did not work for me
I was so disappointed with this seat I returned it after only 2 weeks. I could not get it tight enough, the straps kept getting tangle, it did not recline well my baby's head was flopping all over the place, I had 4 different people look at it and try to adjust it, no luck! I even took it back to the store for an exchange thinking that maybe something was wrong with that particular seat, the new seat was just as difficult to tighten I just did not feel comfortable using it, the car seat specialist said that he has never had such a difficult time with any other carseat. I know this carseat works for many people I have a couple of friends who own one and they are very happy, but even they could not adjust my seat. I am now looking for something else, I would not recommend this seat to anyone.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not for infants
My son grew so fast that at 4 months he outgrew his infant carrier because he exceeded the 26 inch maximum for height on the carrier so my husband and I went to the store to check out new car seats. Price was of no importance, so there were only 2 requirements, they had to be able to accomodate his height and also be rated great amoung other consumers and consumer reports. Before going to the store I read all of the reviews about this car seat and decided that it might be a perfect fit for my tall little guy since the back of the seat slides up and down to accomodate height, boy was I wrong, I purchased the car seat and installed it and when I reached my destination I went to get the little guy out of the seat and his head looked like it was about to snap off since he had fallen asleep and there was no support for his head, his chin was touching his chest. The car seat was reclined as much as it would allow- which I did not think was enough. How unsafe and uncomfortable, I took the seat back right away. I would not recommend this seat for rearfacing babies, it does not recline far back enough or provide any support on either side of their head. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The BEST of the best
I was really deciding between this one and the Baby Einstien for my now 4 month old son. His 20 month old twin brothers just had an older hand-me down model, but I thought we should get a new one. I really love this exersaucer. At BRU we tried ALL of them. And we really liked this one, and the B.E. When Zach was in this one though, he was the most excited but in the B.E he didnt really like the toys as much. Its super easy to adjust hieght settings, and it was REALLY easy to put together, everything really snaps in place. Its easy to spin the seat and everythings really colorful and always catches his attention. He likes it when we take the pegs off and rock it for him. The toys are all VERY safe, and I just adore the castle theme (my son seems fond of the green frog prince since hes plush and can easily fit part of him in his mouth). The music is really cute, yet not overly annoying. There is room of the "tray" for maybe some cheerios and maybe for my son to hold his favorite plushy. The seat is a very cute pattern and doesnt show stains too much. My son really really loves this, I dont see how anyone could possibly resist this cute and durable, (my 20 month old twins are FOREVER climbing on it) exersaucer!

5-0 out of 5 stars A TOTALLY FUN toy!!
I bought this saucer for my daughter when she was four months old, she immediately LOVED it.We've had it for over a month and she's still fascinated by all the colors and music and noises that it makes. She especially enjoys chewing on the frog and the flag.Recently, she's started chewing on the jester as well.I would TOTALLY recommend this saucer to any parent. There are no sharp or dangerous edges, lots of interesting toys and objects, and a zillion different songs and sounds. My daughter and I always have great fun playing with it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good buy for your $$$$
Our daughter seems to love it. It is very colorful and it does play SOFT music. The toys are interchangeable you can buy others to replace the toys included if you don't like them. The seat pad comes out to wash it, and it swivels all the way around too. My only gripe is that more things should light up and play music, but overall a great product. ... Read more

Ahh, if only Carter’s would make a bouncy seat like this for grownups… Barring that, we must be content with allowing the wee ones to cuddle up in this incredibly soft, cushy throne. Babies will relax to the sounds of classical music or a heartbeat, and the soothing feel of vibrations. The seat reclines fully for naptime, or remains angled upright during playtime with the cute toys on the bar. Younger/smaller infants can use the padded removable headrest to keep those heavy heads in place. A safety harness keeps baby secure, while a cotton blanket can be incorporated into the buckles to keep baby swaddled—no kicking this blanky off! The tasteful blues and greens of the washable seat pad will appeal to parents and babies alike. Discontinue use when baby reaches 25 pounds or can sit upright unassisted. --Emilie Coulter ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect seat!
I love this seat.Unlike the baby papasan this seat actually bounces and reclines.Yet it cradels the baby from newborn on up, with no problem. Our baby is now 5 months and we also use this seat for mealtime and its great.Yes, the toybar is boaring but we just switched out the toys every so often.I also love the fact that we can move it from room to room without waking baby thanks to the solid frame and handles at head and foot.I would highly reccomed this seat!

4-0 out of 5 stars Comfortable but not too exciting
My baby loves to sit in this seat but I'm not sure she wouldn't love to sit in any bouncy seat. The toy bar isn't that exciting and is in plain blue and green colors which isn't the contrasting color schemes recommended for babies.I do like that it reclines to a laying position and we used that in the first 2 months for naps (now she only sleeps in her crib).

4-0 out of 5 stars love it
We love this bouncer. After looking at all the other ones, we decided that this one was so much softer and the fact that you could lay it back for a newborn made us really happy. Our son seems to enjoy it, the only time he doesn't is if the vibration is off for a long time. The only thing we had to change about it were the toys on the hang bar. For visual stimulation, they are not the greatest colors for new babies. We ended up putting a sassy rattle and one of those car seat clip on animals that chime and he loves it. He will nap in it for a few hours at a time also. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Not as Convienent as Thought
This is wonderful product... great fabric, music, night light, and price for amount of uses. The reason for 3 stars is that it is just a tad too big to fit through a doorway. That makes it very cumbersome to move from room to room if there is a door in the way! It is not the easiest to breakdown but with practice I'm sure that it will get "broken in" We don't regret buying this product, but we should have taken measurements before buying!

5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
Love this product!Easy to put together . . . not cutesy and baby-ish like many other play yards. It looks nice and sharp and fits in with the decor of our home.Love how easily the mobile snaps off so you don't have to worry about an older child pulling on it.Great buy for the price!

5-0 out of 5 stars The best toy of all time
My parents gave this to my four-year-old for christmas with five games. She hasn't stopped playing with it yet and it's mid-May!We're going on a trip to Scotland this summer, so I bought her two more games to play on the plane. That should keep her going for the entire 8 hr. flight. She just loves it so much she plays it non stop.As for the battery life, I have only changed the batteries twice in all this time.I think it does really well for batteries. This is by far the best toy she owns because she's having fun and learning at the same time. It's like a cross between game boy advance and an educational computer game.Buy this toy. It's worth it.

I purchased this item for my son at Christmas, and he has played with it everyday since. My son is 9 years old and has Autism and he loves this item.

1-0 out of 5 stars PIECE OF JUNK!!!
I am so disappointed in Leapfrog! We purchased the pink leapster for my daughter for her birthday and it doesn't even work.I don't know how on earth this product made it past Leapfrog's quality assurance team... or should I say what quality assurance?

Leapfrog cannot even warranty their product because they don't carry the pink ones. All they can do is send a replacement one in a different color. That didn't work with my 4 year old that wanted pink and got one for her birthday. So, we are having to pay double the shipping to return the defective product and pay the shipping for the new one.

The most frustrating thing is that this isn't the first Leapfrog product we have had to return that was defective. We also had to return the letter magnets because they wouldn't recognize the correct letter.NOW THAT'S EDUCATIONAL.

We won't be purchasing any more Leapfrog products because their quality assurance is sub-par. ... Read more

Editorial Review

A good infant car seat should offer four key features: safe design, comfort for the occupant, convenience for the parents, and a stylish appearance. The Chesapeake model from Peg Pérego comes through on all counts. It features a five-point harness system to keep young ones firmly in place, ample padding all around, and an additional halo pad to cradle baby's head (perfect for dozing off on long car trips). The seat is equipped with LATCH, a car seat system mandated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that requires points of anchorage on the top and bottom of the car seat base. Despite its firm anchoring, this car seat also detaches easily for toting. It's upholstered in a neutral gray fabric, and also sports a retractable canopy. --Alice Merritt ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars It's O-K....
This carseat wasn't as great as I thought it was going to be.I first registered for it b/c this brand was what "all the new moms were getting".My son was born very little (only 6 lbs) and in July.He was sweating in this carseat after the first week or so and always cried in it.He grew so fast that by the time he was 2 months old, he was 14.5 lbs and squished into his carseat and cried even more when he was in it.His backside was always hot and sweaty. Not only that, the Primo Viaggio infant carseat was heavy to begin with but with the added weight of the baby, I was struggling. We bought the Britax Marathon carseat and changed him into it by the time he was 4 months old.He LOVES his carseat now and enjoys every car ride now that he's not squished, sweaty and uncomfortable.Seems that it was a waste of money to only use the infant carseat for 4 months.

3-0 out of 5 stars Before buying, make sure base fits in car!
We bought this car seat because of the great review in the Baby Bargains book, and for the clean styling. After spending an hour trying to install it, we figured out that the LATCH system only works if you have the LATCH system installed on the BOTTOM of your car seat (not the latches behind the back seat head rests). Our car does not have the LATCH system at the top AND bottom of the seat. That is an *extra* updated feature.

We figred there had to be another way to install it without using the LATCH system...we went to the Highway Patrol who proceeded to tell us that there is a way to install it, but since our seats aren't flat enough in the back, the car seat won't work in our car anyway. Our car is an '02 Audi A4 - pretty common size in cars, I think.

Not really worth the money. The Highway Patrol said that he prefers (for safety reasons) the Evenflo car seats - but this one is a safe car seat if it fits right. Now I have to buy another car seat AND stroller since it went together with the Aria stroller....

1-0 out of 5 stars NOT SAFE!!
I took this car seat to my local fire department for safe installment and I was told it was an unsafe seat for my baby b/c there is so much cushion b/w the baby and the plastic. The more cushion, the more air, and the more unsafe for baby.I am going out to buy a graco snugride.Do not waste your money on this seat, even if you want to buy a peg perego stroller to use with it. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars best carseat I've had-and I am on #4 & 5 children!
I have a set of twins.a boy and a girl.they are different sizes and weights.one's more active than the other, too.
I have never had a problem with the shoulder straps staying up.you do have to make sure you have them on correctly...as I have made that mistake due to the harness latch in the front of the chest, that slides up and down.that definately keeps them where they should be.there's the adjustments too, behind the foam lining. that should be at the proper height, as well, but they make it incredibly easy to adjust the seat, all over.I love the bright yellow lever to release the tension on the seat belt assembly, and the crank system to tighten it all back up.I have several vehicles and every one has 2 seats in them.Hope this helps you decide on your important purchase.

5-0 out of 5 stars Saved my child's life!
We just purchased this car seat for my 7-month old a little over a week ago.Two days later we were in a massive car accident that resulted in my SUV going down an embankment, flipping over three times and landing on the opposite side of a 4-lane highway.I am a little banged up but amazingly alive... but what is even more amazing is that my son was pulled out of the car without a mark on him.He was checked thoroughly at the hospital and then again the next day by his pediatrician. He did not even have a bruise.

I give this car seat the highest recommendation possible.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great purchase
We bought it for our daughter when she was 6 months old and I regret not getting it before!!!.
It's a great car seat, very comfortable and easy to handle, It also allows the baby to be high enough to enjoy the view.

5-0 out of 5 stars Pleasant surprise
My mother in law sent us the Decathalon seat as a gift.I had previously looked at some Britax seats and wasn't impressed w/their fabrics and styles. However, I was surprisingly pleased w/the Decathalon. The fabric is washable--unlike most of the other Britax models--and the pattern is a little more trendy. The only complaint that I have about the seat is the size. However, that is my complaint about most convertible car seats.I have two vehicles: a Honda Civic Coupe and an Audi A6 Sedan. The Honda is my daily commuter vehicle, and the car seat is too big for this car. When placed in the Honda, it has to go in the middle position, but since the middle is slightly elevated compared to the normal seats it blocks visibility out of the back window. All you can see in the rearview mirror is the carseat. If you try to place in in one of the rear side positions there is no leg room between the car seat and the passenger/driver's seat back--especially if you have it in the recline position. Therefore, I do not recommend this seat for a compact car. However in fits wonderfully in my Audi.It was easy to install.(I did it myself in about 15 minutes without the latch system.)I like that the harness adjustment is in the front and can be tightened easily--no more rethreading straps through slots, etc!It is very sturdy and has plenty of cushion and support for baby unlike many of the cheaper models out there.Even though I criticize the size of the seat, it is really not much bigger than the other car seats in its class. I just don't recommend this seat for a small car. Also one has to consider that this seat will accommodate a child up to 65 pounds and therefore must be a little larger.Overall, considering useage life and safety, I think this seat is worth every penny. Thanks Britax!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!
I recently bought this car seat for my 8 month old son. When it arrived, I took it out of the box and strapped my son in on the living room floor. He turned his head to the side and fell asleep! The material is so comfy to touch, I imagine it feels even better on his baby skin.It is a bit large, but we have an expedition and it fits perfectly. My husband and I call it the "Barka Lounger" because it is looks so inviting. We wish they made adult lounge chairs. We have been using this car seat for a few weeks now, and are very happy with it.I did a lot of research before I bought a convertible car seat, and Britax seemed to be one of the safest rated out there.

5-0 out of 5 stars A surprize carseat!
I bought these carseats for my sons a few weeks ago, and I have 9 month old twin boys, they are actually quite small (23rd percentile for height and weight) but I really wanted them in a carseat before one year old. I really knew I wanted a Britax, but I didnt know which model, should I get Marathons, or Wizards. When I went to BRU I heard that Britax was going to get rid of the Wizards and replace them with the Boulavard, and they were getting the Decathlon. I knew I just had to have one of their newer models. So I placed each of my sons in both of them (maybe I would get one of each?) and I really liked them both. THey both got very high saftey ratings, were both nice patterns, comfortable, "big", and convinient. I had an employee put both in my car and the Boulavard was just a little too big to have two in there ( we have an SUV though) so I decided on the decathlon. This carseat is very very nice. You can have it rear-facing and it is very safe and easy to adjust. The straps are easy to move for hieght settings and they never get tangled, they also fit in a way where they are very comfortable for my sons. The cover is easy to take off and is machine washable, and it is easy to spot clean! The boys will deffinatly be in it for a while as they are very tiny. I really love these carseats and my boys always fall right to sleep in them, perfect pattern for a boy or girl, you just cant go wrong with this Decathlon, thanks Britax!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Probably one of the best Star Wars games EVER!!!
Alright, when I first heard about this game I thought it would be boring and hardly worth my time but boy, was I WRONG! This is a great game next to Revenge of the Sith. You get to playepisodes 1 through 3 and unlock secret characters, extras and even a Bonus level, Episode 4! It's easy to beat I'll admit but the game has great replay value thanks to free play mode and the 2 player Drop in and Drop out mode. Just remember that if you decide to play Episode 3, there are a few spoilers in store so choose wisely. A game worth buying if you're a Lego or Star Wars fan! This was a review from your old pal, DC.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool Game
This game is pretty cool, i have unlocked almost all the characters. And yes, you can play as the dark side ( I don't know if you can unlock Darth Vader)! There are plenty of levels, some are easy and some are very diffucult(the majority of the levels are easy). My 3 year old brother can even play it, and he loves it!
The controls are great, as well as easy to learn. All in all, a very fun game, and just about anyone can just pick it up and play!(Oh yeah, i forgot, the graphics and music are great! Top notch!)

Editorial Review

With just the donning of this helmet you too may command the powers of the Dark Side! Or, at least, you’ll take on the role of the most notorious scourge the Jedi have ever known: Darth Vader. Once you’ve put on this perfect replica of Vader’s trademark mask and chest plate you’ll find yourself in command of not just his tell-tale breathing and five actual movie quotes but also the ability to speak in Darth Vader’s menacing voice. The helmet itself is constructed of hard plastic and can be adjusted to comfortably fit children to young adults (though older adults may be unable to get the mask on). The attached chest plate lets you command the sound effects with just the touch of a button. This unit not only comes with full instructions but also batteries so you’re ready to go right out of the box. In no time you'll be striking fear into the hearts of do-gooders everywhere! --Chip Quinn ... 2-0 out of 5 stars A good concept, but disappointing...
Like most big "kids" who saw the original Star Wars in the theatre, I looked forward to this mask. I already have a non-functional plastic Vader mask, but this seemed to go several steps further.

Just a warning for other adults who might want to buy this for nostalgia's sake: it may look big and claim to be adjustable, but it's really not sized for adults. The black top piece is too short and the masks looks too small when worn. The voice changer is truly useless...it's nothing more than a pitch changer that works on a slight delay. I doubt even James Earl Jones himself would sound good using this thing (well, okay, I take that back, but hopefully you see my point). The breathing is too fast and too short, and must be activated by you pressing a button on the control box (which, by the way, hangs too high in your chest and is not adjustable). That sort of ruins the effect if you're using this mask as part of a costume. I would have liked to see a switch that starts the breathing independantly and keeps playing it until you sto; it.

The movie phrases are poorly edited and inconsistent in quality. This mask was a good idea, but it fell far short of its potential. I'm either going to return it or give it to my nephew.

4-0 out of 5 stars good but not good
It was weird and very not dureble it kept falling off my head. its still kool though.

4-0 out of 5 stars Awesome, but not perfect.
A friend of mine and i bougth the voice changer for his darth vader costume, and we think is really fun to use,the sounds are amazing. We are satisfied, the vision trough the eyes is very good, the are a lot of holes for breathing, it doesn't weigth that much so is easy to wear.
But we have to be honest, there are some few flaws. First, as the toy ismade for kids, it doesn't cover the neck and back of an adult head.
The security sistem of the top of the helmet is weak, so it has to be worn too carefully so it doesn't fall of.
the front chest plate cannot be removed, it doesn't have a lock so you can take it of, and the strips are short. there is no way to enlarge them.

Balanced on four connected legs, this baby swing offers safety and a smooth ride, as long as its rider weighs less than 25 pounds. That considered, at the height of its 6 swinging speeds, the chair didn't wobble, and that's all one wants: a swing that will swing and not wobble. And this version of the baby swing has several other amenities that make swinging time more enjoyable. The food/toy tray lifts up for "easy-entry" without tying up the baby harness. Three, removable plush toys hang from the swing's mobile, and two plastic toys fit into the tray's two cup-holders. Nirvana: 15 different lullabies and a fully reclining seat with adequate head support. All a baby wants in a swing. When it's time to leave the fun-seat, the frame collapses in two steps for easy storage. Required: Four "D" batteries for music and sounds. Diane Beall ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Love this swing!
I put my daughter in this at just a few weeks old. She fell right to sleep. Now that she's older (4 months) if I put the seat up a little she'll play with the toys on the tray for a little while till she gets tired and then I recline it again, put the music on (#2) and then start it up (usually 3rd green). And off to dream land she goes. Sometimes when other things wouldn't sooth her, this would. It helped me out some when she was a little colicy.

4-0 out of 5 stars we love it
I loved this swing from the time my husband assembled it and put our newborn in it. The music and swinging motion lulled him to sleep. He loves it. The one thing I didn't like was there didn't seem to be enough padding for his comfort. So, I added a couple of blankets and it did the trick. I also like the fact that the swing and music last so long. I took him out of the swing one night and forgot to turn it off, and it was still going the next morning. I have not changed the batteries yet and my baby is 2 months old. This swing is a great buy. Only reason for 4 stars was for the padding.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great investment
I've been using this swing since my daughter was about a week old -- and she's now six months. We haven't had to change the batteries, and everything is still in great shape. The different reclining positions of the seat are great, and the speed options are nice, although I tend to only use the lowest one. The mobile at the top does not move on its own, but my daughter loves staring at those bears anyway! ... Read more

Editorial Review

In a surprising number of ways, the Nintendo DS is quite unlike any video game system that's come before. First, there's the two screens, one above and one below. The idea might seem like a gimmick -- the screens are far enough apart that you won't be able to see them as one long screen -- but the format works in a complementary way. Depending on the game, the DS serves action in one screen and details, maps, stats, or alternate views in the other. Switching your eyes between screens takes a little getting used to, but quickly becomes automatic, like checking a rear-view mirror while driving. Both screens are back-lit and a little larger than that of the Game Boy Advance SP, so they'll be easy to see in most conditions.

Nintendo DS used with a stylus
Players can control games using the touch-sensitive bottom screen of the DS.
The bottom screen also functions as a PDA-style touchpad. It comes with a small stylus, as well as a stylus that attaches to your thumb. This touch screen might be both the best and worst feature of the DS. One one hand, it brings the freedom of PC-style mouse control into gaming, but using it also tends to block what's going on in that screen. For example, while playing the Metroid Prime: Hunters, you could use the left thumb pad to move, the left shoulder button to fire, and the touch screen to look and jump. As you track foes on the bottom-screen map, however, your view will be partially obscured by your own right thumb.

The good news is that Nintendo has stressed a lot of comfort options, both in the operating system and in their games. Want to play Metroid without the touch-pad? Select a different control scheme in the game's option menu, which also includes configurations for lefties. You can even customize your DS to automatically play the inserted title or to start with the main menu, choose which screen to display your GBA games, to add a nickname for wireless play, and more.

Nintendo DS used with a stylus
Up to 16 players can connect wirelessly within a 100-foot radius.
That's right, the DS is wireless-enabled. Say good-bye to that daisy-chain of network cables that was previously necessary for portable multiplayer gaming. Nintendo's proprietary wireless format has a radius rated at 30 to 100 feet depending on environmental interference with its signal. Surely, it's more than enough for friends to game from one end of the bus to the other. We experimented in a small, nearly empty parking lot and got great reception at the upper end of that rating. The DS network can handle up to 16 users, though you can expect the maximum number of players to vary from game to game.

Also, unlike all but the earliest video game systems, the DS comes with a built-in application. It's called PictoChat, and it allows people to write and draw pictures in a chat-room format. Since it's built in to the DS operating system, you'll always be able to interact with other DS users.

Nintendo DS used with a stylus
The built-in program PictoChat lets you write and draw with others.
But not all is new; Nintendo has re-invested some favorite features of older platforms into the DS. It's backward compatible to the Game Boy Advance, which means that older Game Boy and Game Boy Color games won't work in this machine but GBA games will run fine (sadly, the wireless feature doesn't extend to GBA games). Like the GBA SP, the DS is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides approximately 10 hours of play on a four-hour charge. Old timers might recognize the A/B/X/Y face buttons from the Super Nintendo controller, though they're not in the same positions. The standard headphone jack and wide-body comfort of the first GBA model is back, coupled this time with the SP's screen-saving clamshell design. In terms of its ability to display graphics and sound, the DS is a little better -- and a whole lot smaller -- than the Nintendo 64.

Overall, the Nintendo DS represents a rather large leap in portable gaming. With some mystery shrouding the future abilities of its internal microphone (voice recognition) and its IEEE 802.11 wireless network, the DS may have left some surprises up its sleeve. --Porter B. Hall

Pros:

  • Great design marries innovative new features with great features of old systems and lots of customizable options
  • Wireless up to 100 feet
  • Built-in PictoChat lets you write and draw pictures with up to 15 other DS users

Cons:

  • Sometimes hard to see and use the touch screen at the same time
  • Wireless multiplayer feature won't work with GBA games
  • Can't connect to other wireless devices...yet

5-0 out of 5 stars new vs old
ever since the ds came out systems bine loosing money, psp then came out and now its a battle psp vs ds. in my eyes which sould be everyones nintendo has been out since the early 90s and playstation late 90s i trust oldies more they allways come bacl but do new stuff noooo.remember nintendos first hand held it stunk so does the psp. so dont get new gwt old. ps there comming out with pda on the ds not psp.

1-0 out of 5 stars PSP vs. DS? PSP Takes It In 2 seconds. Why?
GRAPHICS
PSP: AMAZING GRAPHICS! WE ARE LOOKING AT A PS2 IN YOUR POCKET!
Nintendo DS: I do not own one but some of my friends have them and I have played one, Nintendo DS, were looking at some what of a SNES in your pocket.
VIDEO
PSP: Plays videos at the quality, speed, and picture of a plasma screen!
Nintendo DS: Dosn't even play them.
MUSIC
PSP: As good as an IPOD. The memory sticks cost less than an Ipod and have just as much storing space.
Nintendo DS: Dosn't even play music.
DURABILITY
PSP: I have dropped mine 2 times, no problems, I have no dead pixels.
Nintendo DS: Well, lets say if we go by the quality of it mabye 2-3 days of playing no more no less. :P
DESIGN
PSP: Sleek, sweet button and speaker placemet. 4.3 inch screen tops DS anyday.
Nintendo DS: OOOO 2 screens! WHO CARES who wants to poke everything you see on the screen, and probably have it broken in a day or two because your jabbing it constantly!
OVERALL
Lets see the score ummm lets see.... 5-0 for PSP? WOW everybody says DS is better :O. Well who cares about a stupid litte plumber when they can have a decent game not about a plumber with his boyfriend Luigi! PSP gives you better selection of games better all around, so Nintendo, and kids out there your wasting your time with a dumb money grab. And as for Nintendo corp, give it up you guys suck! Sony is way better than you.Nintendo thinks they can add a little useless screen in there charge and extra 100$. I say boycott Nintendo they can't even compete! Mario and his boyfriend Luigi can go and cry with their stupid creators! I suggest go buy a PSP, and if you don't have money sell your DS its not worth owning!

I personally, do not see how anybody can possibly say that this is better than the PSP.The people who compare this to the PSP and try to make it sound better come up with very, very lame reasons such as that they want a pure gaming system.Well, movies or music would not hurt to have on a handheld, but either way, you could not buy the movies or memory cards to put music on.These people also say that they do not like sports games, what is what most of the games on the PSP are, then the game selection of PSP still bashes PSP.The PSP still has NFSU Rivals, Midnight Club 3: DUB Ediion, Wipeout Pure, Twisted Medal: Head On, Metal Gear Acid, Ridge Racer, Lummies, Tony Hawk and Grand Theft Auto (Coming This Summer) while on DS you get NFSU 2, Warioware Touched, Asphalt Urban GT, Ridge Racer, Super Mario 64 are the only games worth looking at for the DS.These Nintendo Fanboys also mention that the games for the DS are about $35 and are about $50 for the PSP.Well, you truly get a better deal with the PSP games. The PSP games hold 1.8 GIGs and are $50, meaning that you are paying less than $30 a GIG.The DS games are $35 and hold 1.1 GIGs so you are paying a a bit over $33 a GIG.This does not even go into the excellent graphic advantages or giant screen or better games of the PSP.The price of the unit is good because a DS, a portable DVD player, and an MP3 player is well over $250.The PSP also comes with a memory card that has enough memory to save all of the games you will get (it is 32 MB and the career mode of each game is about 2 MB, so it holds removable data of 16 games.)The movies are DVD quality but since the movies can not hold as much as a DVD there are no extras like deleted scenes. The movie selection coming by this summer is very good. The price of a memory stick is lower than the price of an MP3 player with equal memory.I know I said way too much about the PSP but I would get it if I were you.I have a DS and it is now collecting dust since I got PSP.So, I would not get DS and get a PSP.DS is a mediocre system while the PSP is a great system. ...

It's upholstered in a bright red fabric, and also sports a retractable canopy.

The more cushion, the more air, and the more unsafe for baby.I am going out to buy a graco snugride.Do not waste your money on this seat, even if you want to buy a peg perego stroller to use with it. ...
