Editorial Review

An economical choice, the Alpha Omega Elite carries your child throughout his young life so you'll never need more than one car seat. Parents can install the car seat to be rear-facing for 5- to 35-pound babies, set it to a forward-facing position when the child weighs between 20 and 40 pounds, and then use it as a booster seat when kids weigh between 30 and 100 pounds. The Alpha Omega Elite secures using the LATCH system, which complies with current federal safety standards. The five-point harness restraint is easy to adjust and the chest clip is a cinch to open and close in a hurry. Padding on the shoulder straps, back, and headrest; fold-down armrests, and three reclining positions ensure your child's comfort. There is even a built-in cup holder alongside the base for a sippy cup. For parents' convenience, the harness has four different heights and the headrest moves with the straps so rethreading the straps is never necessary. The Alpha Omega Elite comes in a neutral black and gray tweed-style fabric that matches the interior of most vehicles. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Joey's Big Boy Car Seat
After researching car seats on Consumer Reports and reading all of the reviews on the many car seats, we decided on the Alpha Omega Elite. We purchased one seat first, to see if our 8 month old son was comfortable in it....he loves the seat, so... we love the seat. After only a week, we purchased another for our second vehicle. We have since been on a couple of road trips and Joey seems happy, comfortable, and content in this seat. We were worried about moving him to his "big boy car seat" at first because he really enjoyed playing with his toys that hung from the handle of his infant carrier. The bigger car seats obviously do not have that handle overhead. However, there are so many toys out there you can place in or in front of the seat to compensate.Installation was not difficult. However, in one of our vehicles the back seat angles up.So we did have to cut pool noodles and place them under the front of the seat to allow it to recline at an angle comfortable for Joey.I think some type of seat leveler made specifically for this seat SHOULD BE INCLUDED with the seat for customer convenience. I am not totally comfortable with having to add something to level the seat.We gave this 4 stars because of that and also because the pillow used more for infants should be able to be removed more easily from it's position and should have snaps to remove it when your child no longer needs it.We also would not use this seat for an infant.

2-0 out of 5 stars ok... if you never need to clean it
My biggest complaint about this carseat is how difficult it is to get all the pieces apart when it needs cleaning. My daughter throws up an average amount in the car, and taking this seat apart to clean it is a nightmare. Also, I agree with the other reviewers that I never felt like I was getting the straps tight enough, and they are constantly getting twisted. The "puzzle-piece" buckle is a pain, but I've seen the same thing on lots of other carseats, so I thought it must be a standard or something. I would recommend going with 3 separate seats - infant seat, toddler seat, then booster seat. This one seems like a good deal, getting more in one package, but the stress is not worth it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect!
This car seat is perfect. It is large but it fits fine in my van.My son was born 3 and a half weeks early and was 6 pounds 12 ounces so I did use an infant carrier but once he turned 10 pounds I put in in the Alpha Omega and he fits fine.I would recommend this car seat to everyone! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I own TWO
I didnt buy travel systems with my 2nd and 3rd children because they were twins. We liked that this print went well with our BLACK double snap-n-go and it was great for both our Boy and Girl twins. This seat is so comfortable that my twins actually slept in it for their first 8 weeks! It is very easy to transfer from base, to stroller, to table top, to restaurant highchair (it fits perfectly). I can put any LAMAZE toy on the handles and they are very easy and comfortable to hold. They werent as heavy as the PegPregos and my twins love em'. ITs a great way to get the twins out of relatives arms without hurting feelings, its also a safe place for them to be when not in our germ free home. They are only in the 13th percentile and are very prone to illness so this seat is their saftey zone! Its super safe and always a smooth ride no matter where they are. I really love the color (they come in many colors though) and I can't get enough of how much we have used ours. We will deffinatly get the work out of these carriers, they are just so awesome. I wouldnt want anyother brand or anyother print... WAY TO GO GRACO!

5-0 out of 5 stars Mother of 3
I absolutely love this carseat. I have been through every major brand and this is by far the best. Luckily I was fortunate enough to discover this with my second child. I am now expecting my fourth and I will definately use this. The best thing about it is for those of you moms that have to use the head supports because you hate the way it makes your babies head flop if you dont ....worry no more...you can set this in three different positions and in the third position they are totally reclined when asleep and does not put a crick in your little ones neck.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good seat, uncomfortable handle
I bought this seat to use as a travel system with the metrolite LE stroller in metropolitan.I wanted the carseat in metropolitan but didn't want to spend $140 when it looked identical to this seat.Overall, I'm happy with the seat, except I don't like the handle. The more expensive snugride seats have handles that are wrapped in black rubber and are more ergonimically designed. This seat's handle has only one part wrapped in rubber and it hurts my hand if carrying for longer than 5 minutes. Also, my car is equipped with LATCH and I use it with the base, but for some reason it doesn't seem secure at all! I drove around a corner and the entire seat tipped to the side! So I'm now using the base with the LATCH system and the seatbelt, and this seems a little more secure. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Purchase
Me and my husband bought this play yard when my son was too big to fit in his bassinett. He is currently 6 months old, 27 inches & 20 lbs.He is STILL able to use the bassinett feature of this play yard. The material is very durable. The musical feature lulled our baby boy to sleep MANY times. And even when he is sleeping in his crib I remove the box from the corner of the playyard and put it in his crib with the music playing.I have purchased the Ocean Wonders Aquarium for his crib which is nice but he still likes the music of the playyard music box.And the storage pockets on both sides of the playyard are fantastic not to mention the shade to go over the top to protect them from the sun or other lights. It's a great purchase. You won't be disappointed.

5-0 out of 5 stars This playyard is a lifesaver!
We use this play yard for everything.During the day, our son sleeps in it and is changed in it.We love that it has the bassinet feature as well as the changing table. Also, he likes the vibrating option. It really soothes him.I am looking forward to using it outside once it gets nicer out as well.I would recommend this to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best!!
We have been using this for our third baby and it has been fantastic!!Before this, we had two different brand playyards for our two older children - one had sides that collapsed (very scary strangulation hazard, but for some reason was not captured in the recall) and the other we got rid of because we thought we were done (but we like this one better anyway!).This has by far been the best that we have used or have seen.

We have a two story home and use it all the time. The change table is nice and sturdy (makes a great downstairs change station because it also has a detachable bag that can be loaded with diapers, diaper creams, etc.).The bassinet is great for the newborn stage because it is easy to lift baby in and out.The sunshade is very handy for outdoors and you can slide the shade material back and forth depending on the angle of the sun (good coverage). We recently took it on a weekend getaway and we all slept great!!It was easy to set up and take down.Just make sure you follow the instructions for how to setup and collapse the sides or you may find it difficult and frustruating like another reviewer did (the floor must NOT be in lowered position and all of the legs need to be close together in order to keep the sides from accidentally lowering when the playyard is in use).

The only downside is that it would be nice if it was made out of lightweight materials because it is a bit heavy, but then again, so are all of the other brands. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Early Adopters Pick: March 2003. As theworld's smallest video-game platform, the Game Boy Advance SP is also the first to use a built-in rechargeable battery.

Many decried the original Game Boy Advance's reflective LCD screen and its reliance on external light sources. The Game Boy Advance SP's main feature--optional backlighting--fixes this complaint nicely, but it's the wealth of other features that makes this system so surprisingly good.

At first look, you might think the SP is a sleek travel alarm clock. When closed, it's just as tall and deep as the original GBA, but only half as wide. Due to its clamshell design, the screen is always protected from everyday scratches. A small button in the center of the console turns on the backlighting element for use in low-light situations, like in a moving car.

Game Boy Advance angle diagram The SP comes with a well-designed power adapter that recharges a built-in battery; its prongs fold in for easier storage. Our informal tests found that it takes about four hours to fully charge (you can even play it while it's plugged in and charging), and the battery lasts about 11 hours with the backlighting constantly on--your results may vary. Using the backlighting less often will conserve battery power.

Withseparately soldcables, you can connect the Game Boy Advance SP to other GBAsfor multiplayer gaming (above) or to theNintendo GameCube(below) to access secret levels, exchange data, or use other specialfeatures that vary from game to game.
The quality of the backlighting is very good. It's bright and clear when looking directly at it, but degraded from other angles. This is only a problem for friends who are watching the screen from over your shoulder.

But size, power, and affordability do not come without trade offs. There's no headphone jack here, though Nintendo promises an adapter. The system isn't very loud at its highest volume, and the sound can be turned down to socially acceptable levels. The L and R shoulder buttons are a fraction of the size they were on the GBA, and thus are harder to hit. Also, the reduced size of the SP is slightly less comfortable for adult hands than the GBA, but perhaps more comfortable for smaller hands. The cartridge port placement on the lower part of the console is fine for GBA games, since they are flush with the console body, but older Game Boy Color carts will stick out in a way that takes some getting used to.

Open it up and the hinge will seek out a preferred, pre-set angle (about 150 degrees), though you can open it a bit wider or narrower for your own comfort. The hinge stands up well to lateral pressure, and over all, the SP seems just as rugged as its predecessor--which has proven to be very rugged, indeed. --Porter B. Hall

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Game System For The Money.
I'm a 35 year old man and -- I admit it -- I bought this thing for myself.Once you've made the initial investment in the hardware, the games cartridges themselves are relatively inexpensive(...) making it a good system for the casual video-gamer (like me) or the serious hobbyist.

Game cartridges are also within the monetary grasp of many older children's allowances, so a GameBoy Advance could be used to teach children discipline with money. In other words, buy your kid(s) the hardware (and at least one game) to start with and then let them purchase other software when their funds permit. And, of course, game cartridges make inexpensive presents when birthdays or holidays come around.

As for me, game play is very enjoyableand I'm thoroughly impressed with the graphics considering the screen size and pixel depth available to the system. (Currently I'm playing my first two cartridges: Spider-Man 2 and Star Wars III: Revenge Of The Sith.)

Overall, for young or old, the GameBoy Advance is a great system (even surpassing its gimmicky touch-screen sibling, the Nintendo DS).The only thing an adult player has to consider is that the majority of games are marketed mostly to those in their early teens and younger.Other than that, its excellent. To top it all off, a GameBoy Advance can also play movies and TV shows with GameBoy Advance Video cartridges.

In short, if you're looking for an affordable expandable video game system, either for you or for your children, get this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Portable Gaming Console to Own: maybe the only to own
I got the Nintendo DS, and let me tell you this: you would still need the Gameboy SP.In fact, I went back to buy an SP!!!

Why?First of all, the DS is much bigger (more like the old Gameboy Advance) than anticipated to be carried in your pocket: the SP when folded is really the perfect form.

Secondly, you really don't want to carry an $150 equipment with a touchscreen.Of course, there are certainly more expensive hardware out there with touchscreen such as PDA that can be carried around in your pocket, but the DS really feel fragile in comparison WITH THE FOLDING DUAL SCREEN.

Thirdly, there are a lot more games to pick on Gameboy Advance than in the DS and the newest PSP's libraries.

Lastly, Gameboy SP (and DS) use cartdridge. That means that there's no need for more load time. The data comes straight from ROM.That means that you can just turn the console on, wait for the Logo screens and some other few introductions, press Start, load previously saved game, and fire up.Few seconds here and there saved means a lot when you can only have very few time to play (e.g. during a short break).

Nevertheless, that doesn't mean that the DS is inferior. The Nintento DS is quite superior to the SP, but its superiority is only justify in hardware upgrade, not portability and practicality. For instance, I find the screen in the DS to be much better in graphic than the SP.But for longer use, the SP is much easier to the eyes, and it has the option to have the light off if needed. The DS don't have that option, and that explains to you why the colors in the DS are more vibrant: the colors come straight from the screen where you cannot turn off its brightness, whereas the SP you turn off and on a LIGHT (LED I believe)!

In practical life, the Gameboy SP is the gaming console that I use the most. The battery is integrated in the console, and is rechargeable every time that you plug in the AC adaptor (much like a mobile phone, or the Nintendo DS).Unlike the older Gameboy systems which requires alkaline battery to be inserted, this newer system, Gameboy SP and higher version, saves money and time with the integrated lithium (not sure if I got this spelled correctly) battery.

I own a PS2 and Gamecube.Graphics, sounds, and playability are of course better in those systems: no doubt about the XBOX.But quite frankly, as an adult with a family I barely find MY CHANCE to get my hand on the TV (because my wife uses it and picks her own channel to watch), and on the joystick (if my children doesn't mess them up).If I move the PS2 or Gamecube to another room with another TV, by the time I'm all set with the cables I would have been done playing with the SP already.Even if everything is all setup to go without interruption, by the time the CD loads up the game, then loads up the saved game, I would have been on the sofa playing a Gameboy Advance game with the TV on, and my drink and snack next to me.

With a compact gaming console such as the Gameboy SP, you can fold it and put it in a place where no one else can use it such as in your very own pocket, carry it with you, and have your own private time more instantly at your will anywhere (e.g. bathroom :).

When your wife complains to you that you spend too much time playing video games, that's because you are really spending a lot of time playing video games, but indeed that's because you are using the biggest TV in the house for your own entertainment.Well, with the Gameboy, you can have your wife take the biggest TV in the house, and play the game that you like instantly.

Forget about other system, you'll be amazed how small those cartdriges can be arranged.Forget about the original box of the PS2 in your library collection where you'll have to find some space to put them, or the heavy CD case that you may have.Try it, and you'll see how practical it can be.Of course, the Gameboy Advance doesn't have all the game such as Chrono Cross and etc...

5-0 out of 5 stars The coolest toy in the world
I got this Gameboy on my birthday. And when I got it,it looked pretty dumb. But then when I got my first game for it, it was great. This was one of my first experiences with a Gameboy SP, and on the plane trip to Hawaii, I couldn't stop playing it!!
It was one of the best toys I ever got, and it should have a 5000-star rating! It was so easy to use and the keys for it were in the best position. One of the best parts about it is that there are so many games to choose from. There are future games, exciting games and fighting games. It really is the coolest toy in the world.

5-0 out of 5 stars Overall Best
It dosent matter if you get the flame one or not. I have the Blue one and it is no different from the red one.The SP is the best handheld ever created. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Lego StarWars- an awesome game w/ many cheats
The first few seconds i played this game, and i was hooked. Its title may make people think its a poser video game, but i say its the real deal. its also fun to beat up your partner, giving them less limbs and stuff. i rate it a 11 out of 10 because its just that good!
Also, here are a few cheats to use at dexters diner
~Ki Adi Mundi = DP55MV
~Padm`e = 92UJ7D
P.S. all the codes require lego Studs.

4-0 out of 5 stars Revenge of the Bricks
First a point of clarification: Lego Star Wars is not a game destined to go down in the annals of gaming history. It is not for the hardcore gamer. However, if you are a devoted fanboy of Star Wars, or Legos or Star Wars AND Legos, then this game will not disappoint.

First I shall talk about the many ways this game is a fanboy's delight. There is something very odd, yet astoundingly cool about seeing the Star Wars universe transformed into Legos. Every aspect of the game is tied to the bricks. When enemies (and your character) die, they shatter into lego pieces. Jedi have to use the force to build and break pieces. Every ship, building and character is built from bricks. It all works flawlessly and, thanks to good graphics, looks good too. Also, transforming the Star Wars movie into Legos adds a quirky sense of humor to the (in some people's opinions) sometimes lacking movies. Familiar scenes are fun to see skewed as Lego reimaginations. There is no dialogue, so all the little Lego guys communicate through facial expression and sound effects, and it works surprisingly well.

For the Star Wars fanboy, you are set, if anything by the sheer number of playable characters. You can unlock almost any Jedi that has been in the prequel, and tons of other characters that all look great and sometimes hilarious as Legos. I'm pretty sure this is the only Star Wars game that you can play as Darth Maul, Darth Vader and The Emperor, not to mention a Gronk Driod, three versions of Obi-Wan, Yoda and of course, R2-D2.

Gameplay wise, Lego Star Wars is a bit more complex than its look would mandate. Combat is simple, but effective. The game also has a very simple RPG feel, as you have a party of different characters that you must switch to at different times to perform different tasks. This is no Final Fantasy or KOTOR by any stretch of the imagination, but you do need to be mindful of having the right characters with you at the right times. It adds something to a game that could be seen as too juvenile.

That brings up a good point. Lego Star Wars is marketed as a kids game. This will scare away the hardcore gamers, which is probably a good idea and just what the makers wanted. Hard core gamers who are not Star Wars fans probably should keep looking for a deeper, more challenging game. I am not a kid (per se) but I was still able to find a lot of enjoyment in this game. The most "kid-like" quality is that it is short. In a rental period, you could unlock pretty much anything worth unlocking.

The saving replay factor is that every single level has the chance for cooperative multiplayer, so its a great game to have on your shelf when friends come over. Because its controls are simple and the story is familiar to almost everyone, its a great game for people that don't usually play video games.

All in all Lego Star Wars is a fun great game. Though its not for everyone, its for anyone that likes Star Wars, Legos and accessible gaming.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME!
For PS2 this game was awesome!!!!i dont have any other platforms so i dont know about any others but i thought it was really cool, the graphics were avg. compared to most PS2 games and the concept of LEGO and star wars put together was just the icing on the cake. It is a clean game with no gore or blood or anything, so if your parents are like mine and are very strict about what games u can play then even they will let u play THIS game8-) -its a smiley ... 1-0 out of 5 stars this sucks
it sucks it breaks easy and doesn't work good dont waste your money like i did

4-0 out of 5 stars These are fun to play spy with!
I own these toys, and I have a lot of fun with them. I like to sneak around the house and listen in on conversations, look around with the binocs, and use the light beam sensor to stay alert if sister enters my base.

The binocs are pretty good and you can adjust them so whtever your looking at won't be blury. The light on the binocs can be turned on inside the binocs or they can pop out for more distance. The batteries do not run out very fast.

The Spy Listener thing with glasses works well, and you can even hear people wisper. If you twist the end of the Spy Listener thing while it is clicked back in the module it will pop out in cool gesture into what it looks like in the picture provided by Amazon at the time being. The setbck to it is it us the very small, expensive batteries. I left mine on and it lost all battery power and I haven't had the chance to ask my dad to get some new ones yet. Overall it is a good device.

The Spy Light Beam Sensor sends out an invisible beam that if broken sounds an alarm. You can pull the front out or push it in for the sensitivity or range you want. The device does not work well if layed on the ground. Therefore, you should put it on something a foot or two above the ground. The range of it is not very far because on mine it only went 2-3 feet but maybe thats because I use it a lot.

I give this set 5 stars of fun because I have had a lot of fun playing spy with my friends.

I give it 3 stars of eductional value because you use your imagination.

I give it 4 stars of durability because all of these have taken big falls while playing with them and when I was a spy for Halloween.

I give it 4 stars overall because thats what it averages out to.

In the bright, cheerful colors that Sassy has become famous for, this set of miscellaneous playthings and teethers is sure to capture baby's interest and attention. While the eye-catching colors and shapes, are sure to draw baby's eye, the toys in this set also come in a variety of textures and shapes, so that baby can investigate how each one feels in her hand and, inevitably, in her mouth. Soft, flexible rubber parts on many of the toys make them just right for a little playful gnawing when baby is teething, while other toys in the set come with smoother plastic parts that have been rounded off to prevent injury. --Chris Burns ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful
I wasn't sure what toys to buy, since there are so many to choose from. This set of toys were perfect.Since my daughter could first hold a rattle at around 3 months until present she has loved these toys. There is something for every step of the way.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Assortment of Baby Toys
I bought this set before my son was born and couldn't wait to show him all of the bright, colorful toys. When he was a few weeks old, we held the rattles in front of him, and he stared at them in amazement.Eventually he learned to hold and shake them on his own, and then he discovered the other toys.He fell in love with the yellow and purple jingle ball, and he would have lots of fun shaking it and rolling it across the floor. The teethers are nicely textured, and the linking letters are fun to dangle from an activity gym. Also, my son loves the little yellow rubber ducky and the purple octopus.I squirt him with them during bath time, and he laughs and squeals.Of all the toys we now own, many of his favorites are from the original Sassy set. This toy set has been wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to other parents. Not only are the toys designed with bright, high-contrast patterns to please young infants, but also they are varied and durable enough to please older babies. This truly is a great assortment of baby toys.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best gift ever!
I received this box of toys as a shower gift for my twins. They are now 7 months old and continue to play with these toys. They both continue to go back to this set, more so then any other toys they have.I will always buy this as a baby gift from now on. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Though it looks like a toy, don't be fooled: the Nintendo GameCube is a powerful video game console that rightly deserves its place among the other next-generation game systems. In fact, its playful, appealing design and small size (the unit is a not-quite-cubed 6 inches) aren't the only features that set it apart from the others.

For starters, Nintendo has quite clearly made this a game-only machine. It doesn't try to play your CD collection, run your movies, read your e-mail, or store your MP3 files. The company has concentrated its efforts on games. All the prelaunch titles we've seen play smoothly, with bright, fast graphics and great sound. Nintendo says its engineers have removed traditional bottlenecks that have, in the past, slowed down processing. New components designed by IBM and MoSys, as well as a large-capacity secondary memory cache, keep instructions moving through the system's microprocessor (MPU) at peak levels. In English: the GameCube is optimized to push speed up while pushing costs down; hence its position at the lower end of the price spectrum.

The GameCube is the first Nintendo video game system to use a disc-based medium rather than cartridges for its games. Moving the software to disc media generally means lower development costs for the publishers, which, in turn, trickles down to the consumer not only in price, but also in availability and quality, as it's then easier to try out untested game ideas (Pikmin, anyone?). While most other systems likewise have their games stored on discs, the GameCube's 3-inch format is smaller than everyone else's, and is so designed to fit in a shirt pocket as much as to deter would-be software pirates.

Of course, the main advantage of the GameCube is that it's the home field of one of the world's premier game designers: Nintendo. While powerhouses Electronic Arts and Sega make games for all systems (including this one), you can play Nintendo games only on a Nintendo system. And Nintendo, you might recall, has been hitting them out of the park since it started with Donkey Kong. In fact, here's a roll call of characters and series you won't find on the other consoles: Mario, Legend of Zelda, Perfect Dark, Metroid, Kirby, and, of course, Pokémon. A few names that the GameCube will share with the other guys: Madden, Tony Hawk, Sonic, Batman, and Star Wars.

The system also comes with four built-in controller ports, so you can easily plug in extra controllers and let friends join in for the multiplayer games--it's even got a built-in handle so you can easily move it to a friend's house. It comes with two memory card slots for saving your progress through games, and there's the capacity for future expansion into the world of online gaming.

In short, the GameCube isn't an all-in-one entertainment system, and neither is it the most powerful of the modern video game consoles. But for video game enthusiasts who want to stick with their favorite characters, its value cannot be beat. --Porter B. Hall

5-0 out of 5 stars Fanboys, get some perspective.
Some of these reviews...Seriously.

Just because you like one console, doesn't mean you have to hate the others. Play what all consoles have to offer, you don't have to be a fanboy to one system...

Anyway, I bought my Gamecube on release, along with Smash Bros Melee. Now, I am a huge Nintendo fan, but I also own an Xbox so rest assured, I play games, not the consoles they come on. I don't care what game the console is on, it's the games that count.

Whilst the 'Cubes selection of games isn't as vast as the PS2s, the quality is a lot higher. Games like Mario, Zelda, Metroid Prime, Smash Bros cannot be matched, and can only be bought for the Nintendo Gamecube. This is main reason to buy a 'Cube, Nintendo games. There are other fantastic games available only to the 'Cube too, like Tales of Symphonia, and Viewtiful Joe.

If you are a casual gamer, get a PS2. The 'Cube has a lot of games for the more pro gamer; don't be fooled by the "child" like graphics, Nintendo games are all about gameplay.
Still put off by the child like graphics? Check out Metroid Prime: Echoes and Resident Evil 4, exclusive to 'Cube.

Finaly, anyone concerned about graphic power of Gamecube, it is much prettier graphically then the PS2. Resident Evil 4 has the best graphics of any console game made, even surpasing games of Xbox, which is more powerful.

So, to sum up, the 'Cube is a powerful console, with a great selection of exclusive games and a controller that is confortable to hold. If you don't play games that often, you might be better with a PlayStation 2, but if you consider yourself a pro gamer, check out the Nintendo Gamecube.
You won't regret it =)

1-0 out of 5 stars this sucks!
the gamecube sucks, theres a lot of stupid babie games.like mario or donkey kong! they should really call it the gaycube, theres no dvd players netheir.this is for retards who think e-rated games are cool.the gaycube disks are small so babies can hold them.nintendo keeps making kiddie games, always about gay mario or donkey kong.if you want to buy a console buy the xbox or the ps2.the xbox's graphics are very cool, and u can play cool games like halo2 or gta,and the xbox has xbox live, the ps2 is ok.the gamecube is gay

Parents can grow weary of shoving an assortment of blankets into a stroller to keep baby insulated on lengthy walks. Fortunately, this handy little pouch keeps baby warm with a minimum of fussing for Mom and Dad. The exterior is made out of soft yet durable fleece material while the inside is made of a thick faux sheepskin. There are openings for three and five point harnesses, which should cover most strollers so baby can be extra secure, even on bumpy roads. The entire unit is also machine-washable (on cold cycle, tumble dry on low). This Bundle Me is designed for children up to 12 months or 21 pounds, whichever comes first. We're not sure how snug a bug in a rug is, precisely, but it couldn't be much cozier than this. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Forget the coats!
This allowed me to forget about having to buy a big winter snowsuit for a new baby.It was easy to wash, easy to attach to the infant carrier, and warm enough for the baby. The only downfall is that it should have fabric that can wrap around the top and cover the top of the baby's head for added protection from the elements.A great invention!

5-0 out of 5 stars One of my favorite purchases!
I love this Bundle Me! I tell everyone I know to get one. It washes and wears very, very well. My son was kept very warm all fall and winter long. On warm days I simply unzipped the front yet he still had the fleece underneath to keep him warm. I used it in my carseat, carriage and even a snow sled! It is very easy to grab the baby from the carseat in the Bundle me and transport to a carriage. If the baby was tired of the carriage I would simply pick him up and used it as a blanket.

I tried 2 other carseat covers before this. They both had the holes for the head to poke out. Both of them were hard to get the baby in and out of and one of them the hole was way too low. You can put the baby in the carset one handed with the Bundle me. The other covers are good only for the infant car seat, you can use the Bundle me as long as you want! A must buy for everyone! You wont be sorry.

Babies, start your engines! The Reebok Velocity stroller offers a comfy ride through both city terrain and well-worn rural trails, mainly because it is engineered with both jogger and passenger (up to 50 lbs.) in mind. Grownups can jaunt around guilt-free, knowing tots won’t have to endure body-jarring pot holes and unexpected bumps along the way. On the aluminum, collapsible stroller is a 5-point safety harness with adjustable shoulder, waist and crotch restraints; reclining seat; 16-inch, reflective bicycle tires (with air pump); hand/foot brakes; anti-roll tether cord; and a wide shade canopy for extra-sunny days. All of these features work together to make riding comfortable, and pushing easier. It also looks somewhat like a bicycle, so young kids will think it’s cool to ride in.--Diane Beall ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars hard to steer & veers to the left
I was so excited when I bought this jogger but...
This is a terrrible jogger.I would highly reccommend you do not waste your money. Veers to the left and very difficult to steer. Your arms will be sore because it will not allow for anything but a straight line. Needs to be taken off the market.

1-0 out of 5 stars Hard to steer
I recently bought the Reebok Stroller. I read all the reivews for it before my puchcase and thought I was buying a wonderful product. I got it home put it together and found it is very hard to steer it pulls to the left really bad. If you want a great upper arm workout get this product!

5-0 out of 5 stars The best jogger--I shopped them all!
This jogger is awesome. First of all it has every feature you could want--light weight; canopy moves easily to block sunlight; great cushion for baby; adjustable seat in multiple positions for comfort; cell phone, bottle and toy holder; and a mesh basket underneath to carry along some essentials. I put it together myself and it was so easy. I took my 6 month old for a ride and she smiled, laughed, and later fell asleep. I looked at every jogger possible--this one is by far the best quality and most reasonably priced. Enjoy!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I love it!
When I was pregnant with my 3rd child (girl) I thought I should have the BEST playyard, which I believed was the Graco PNP... I figured I would purchase the biggest, most expensive model with all the extras. I got this Madison (funny, thats my daughters name) playyard for my shower and was very excited! (I thought it was a Graco)

My husband and my father assembled it in about 45 minutes, the directions are a bit confusing but deal-able. We had set it up in our bedroom to keep our daughter in for the first few months (shes still there at 3 months, but she is able to sleep in her room sometimes too) The bassinet feature was great, it was full-sized and my pettite 12th percentile daughter will be in there for a while. I loved the little bar with the hanging white bears, they intrigued my daughter, and now she trys to grab them or swat at them! The calming music always excites her and she will squeal and then slowly drift off to sleep, its just the perfect volume. The changing table is the perfect size and super safe with the straps. My daughter loves being changed there, and she never whines. The bottom seems deep enough to place her in there for atleast a year, and she will deffinatly be comfortable down there for naps when she outgrows the bassinet. The little changing station was perfect! I can fit many newborn diapers, wipes, ointment and accesories in there and I have never EVER had a problem. The colors are terrific and its just so elegant and safe. I have also found that it will fit through my 33 1/2 inch doorways (an inch and 1/2 larger than normal) no problem for strolling it down the hallway or carrying downstairs. Its also super easy to travel with and ALL the pieces fit in the travel bag unlike all of the graco models. Its super easy to carry and very lightweight, now all my relatives dont need to purchase cribs for when we come to visit!

When I found out that it WASNT a graco I laughed, and seeing how much cheaper it is and how much BETTER it is, I am sorry that I ever thought more is better and that a brand name ment everything. Dont hesitate, the MAdison Playyard is the best for your money, much more satisfying than the gracos!

5-0 out of 5 stars An excellent choice
My mother got this for me and my 6-month old before a recent trip and I was most impressed!Super fast and easy set up as well as folding up at the end of the weekend. The changing table insert was wonderful!Roomy pockets on the end allowed me to keep diapers and changing supplies handy and out-of-sight. And the night light with soft music and nature sounds truly helped soothe baby right to sleep.Once we got home, we unfolded it and set it up as a playyard downstairs and with the changing table, no more running up and down stairs just to change a diaper.I LOVE this product!

4-0 out of 5 stars Can't wait to use it!
I recieved this playard as a gift at my shower.I love it.It is easy for me to set up and take down at 8 months pregnant. Also all the parts fit in the carry bag.I have some friends who have the Graco playards and can only get the playard in the storage bag, what is the point. 5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT FOR BABY!
Well for my its plural, I am a first time mother of twin boys. This seat is by far not only the best in the Graco line, but the best on the entire market!!

I love how this seat is great for anyparent. The seat is very nice and light, and it snaps easily into our double snap n' go (in black) and there is no fear of tipping. It can also fit in grocery carts, restaurant highchairs, snap n' go's, travel systems, and on little tables too. Its easy to snap into the included base as well, just snap it in litterally and its super safe too! its easy to reqline and the little harness fits nicely, is easily adjustable and its easy to reqline too. The handle is comfortable and easy to hold. The fabric is to die for and its very, very good for babies skin.

My sons are winter babies (gonna be 5 months old soon) and this seat really kept them warm. Now that its getting warmer outside, the seat "breathes" and keeps my babies at the perfect temperature and they never come out sticky and sweaty like wiht my friend who has a 9 month old and a lower priced graco model with suede, who thought of that? The seat also has great foam that I havent seen on any other seat out there, and it contours to my babies and they always fall straight to sleep. Its also very easy to hang little toys on it.

I couldnt be any happier with the quality of this seat, its great and comfortable for our sons, and I can't imagine anything else...

5-0 out of 5 stars What We've Been Waiting for!
My husband and I were thrilled to receive this gift for our shower. We registered for this car seat because of its known brand and its safety mechanisms. We also love the patttern and portability - it's unisex and easy to take in and out of the base.

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth the extra money for the comfy foam
I chose this carseat not only because the pattern caught my eye but mainly because of the Gracopedic foam. It was the only seat with the extra cushioning. The unique black and creme colored swirl pattern is very suitable for a girl which is hard to find when most carseats seem to be mostly navy or brown patterns. It is definitely worth the price for the extra comfort of the foam not to mention safer too. I just didn't like the idea of my baby riding on the plastic. I also recommend the matching stroller. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars first time mom and love my sling
this is an awesome sling. i just got it in the mail, and it is wonderful! my baby is sleeping in it right now as we speak. its so comfortable on my back compared to the infantino carrier i have. the straps hurt on that one.. like a backpack. this one, the straps are wide and made of cotton so its great! i work as a CNA and so far my back is holding up well. that was a very important feature when buying this sling. the only thing im not too sure about yet is how to make my sons head comfortable in the infant craddle hold, but i havent watched the video yet, other than that, this sling gets 5 stars with me!

5-0 out of 5 stars No backache with this sling!
By the time my baby was born, I had three sling-type carriers for her: a Snugli front carrier, a New Native sling (the one Cindy Crawford raved about) and this one. When my baby was about 2-3 weeks old, I tried her in the New Native, but she hated it.She kept slipping so far down in the pouch that the fabric fell over her face, and she just didn't like being in a laying-down position at all.Next, I tried the Snugli. My baby liked being upright, but the straps of the Snugli cut into my shoulders, and every time my baby fell asleep, her head fell over her shoulder at a 90-degree angle.I finally tried the UBW, and fell in LOVE!

First let me say I waited so long to try the wrap because I was intimidated.I watched the video many times and practiced using the wrap with stuffed animals and dolls, but I didn't feel secure enough to try carrying an actual baby in it.Finally, I met another woman who had an UBW and, after talking with her, I got up the courage to try putting my daughter in it.Well, it worked like a dream.I used the tummy-to-tummy carry (the first carry shown on the video) and it was perfect. My daughter could sit upright facing me (her favorite position) but the wrap provided enough head support that even when she fell sound asleep her head didn't tilt over at all.(I just made sure to pull the wrap up high over her shoulders and the back of her neck.)Because the wrap is made of soft t-shirt material, it didn't dig into my shoulders at all.In fact, you can adjust the width of the material across the shoulders to make it as wide or as narrow as is comfortable for you.Plus, you wind up carrying your baby much closer to your body in an UBW than in a Snugli-type front carrier, so I found that my back didn't start aching the way it did when using the Snugli. Finally, the UBW is VERY portable - it even comes with a little drawstring bag with shoulder straps to carry it in.

I found that the secret to successfully using the UBW was to tie it tightly enough but not *too* tightly.Figuring out the wrapping method itself wasn't too hard - after a few practice sessions I could do it easily, and the video was very helpful for that - but getting the right tension was a bit tricky. The fabric is quite stretchy, so if I left the tension too loose I would be afraid that my baby would fall out.As a result, at first I found I tied the wrap too tightly, and I felt my baby was uncomfortable (being squeezed too tightly against me or in the leg area). With a little practice, though, I got the right tension for my baby and me, and now I couldn't be happier with the UBW.To make it easier to use several times in one day, I often tie it on once and keep it on even if my baby is out - that way I'm all set to pop her back in at the first sign of her getting fussy.

Bottom line: while the UBW isn't as simple to use at first as many of the other carriers on the market, I think once you get the hang of it it outperforms any other I've found.

5-0 out of 5 stars Greatest Carrier on the Market
I just had my 3rd baby and someone gave this carrier at my shower. At first, I was thinking that I would return it because I already have 3 other carriers that I used with my older two... that being said, I always complained about how much the others hurt my shoulders, neck and back. I read some reviews about this wrap and decided to give it a try. I have to admit that when I opened it up I almost put it away before even trying it. It looked a little weird and I wasn't quite sure it was worth all the fuss. I stuck in the video and watched it for 2 minutes and decided to try it. It took me about 5 minutes the first time to figure out how to make it comfortable for me and my daughter but after a little fiddling I put my daughter inside. I walked around and tried it out... checking out it would feel... LITERALLY, within seconds my daughter was asleep. I realized that this gave her a cocooned "womb-like" feeling and she was so happy and relaxed. The next day I put it on to go for a walk with my family and again, she was asleep in minutes. I walked for about an hour and when I got home, realized that I wasn't in ANY PAIN at all. The carrier didn't pull on my shoulders at ALL!!!! I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, just for fun put my 18 month old inside also and he loves it as much as the baby!!!! I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS CARRIER!!! Oh yeah, after the 2nd day I was able to whip this carrier on in about 30 seconds flat. It's way easier than any of the others... it just looks a little intimidating, but if you try it on it's AMAZING!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE THE EASE OF USE!
I have had the Britax Wizard and thought it was good until my son got his head stuck forward by the SIP. I decided to try the new version the Boulevard and it is WAAAAY better and he doesn't have the problem he did before. It is definitely easier than the roundabouts and the new decathalon with tightening the strap and adjusting the height! I would recommend this car seat for the long haul. My only complaint is the fabric, it could be smoother since summer is arriving and babies will be wearing skin bearing clothes. But compared to all the rest I love it regardless.

4-0 out of 5 stars Read Your Owner's Manual!!
I was researching this new carseat when I came across the reviews concerning the Chevy Trailblazer.I own a 2004 Trailblazer and it does not "prohibit" a carseat in the middle seat (regardless if you have the extended model or not-which has the 3rd row), but it does state that some carseat models may not fit probably due to the narrow seat width.I just wanted to remind people to read their owner's manual, regardless of make or model, latch or not, to be sure of any dangers in carseat installation. And if you are still not sure take your vehicle and carseat to an inspection center. This is hardly a situation where you want to just "wing it".Installation of carseats can be tricky in any car with any carseat model.Read your manuals, both car and carseat, so your child is safe and that you have the peace of mind you need when traveling with children.I haven't purchased this carseat, so I can't rate it properly, but I have incredible confidence in the Britax brand, due to prior use and friend's recommendations.

5-0 out of 5 stars My first Britax and I am IN LOVE so does the Baby
I decided to go with this seat because it holds up to 65# FF and up to 33# RF. I wanted something that would last us a long time. We want him to be harnessed as long as posible. From what I have read and seen how my friends 4 yrs old has so much room to grow still in the Marathon, I believe the Boulevard should last us until he is 5 or 6. I know the seat is pricy but if it last this long then is worth it on the long run.

Plus some of the features it has are pretty nice.

Right now we have it installed RF in the captain chair of our Caravan. The carseat is Big but we didn't have any problem with space. We don't have latch system in our van so we used the Lap shoulder belt and we had a good fit. And LOVE the locking clip on the side. It was a little hard to close it but so necessary for us since out belts don't lock.

One feature I like is the fact that you don't have to re thread the straps because the kid is getting taller. All you do is turn the knob. Which is GREAT if you need to use the seat for a different kid on ocassions. I don't know how many times I have had to do this with my older seats.

The SIP (the wings) keep our 12 months old head from going to the side. I know he is very protected and comfortable there. He Can't see much because the wings are right there but he can see some. I really wanted the added protection of the wings.

I also like the fact that you can tether the seat RF to help with rebound. I don't think I have seen any other seat in the US that you can tether while RF. Tethering it RF helped to get the appropiate angle.

I know our son is VERY comfortable in this seat. The seat has lots of padding. It has an extra pad that can comes off. Is good for small babies. When I read the instructions it says you can fold the sides of pad to give a small child support and would help them stay centered in the seat. So I imagine it would be a good seat for a small infant.

So far I am very happy with this seat. DH wasn't happy about the price until he saw the features it has specially that you can tether while RF.

I recommend you at least give it a try at the store.

I do have 1 complaint LOL The cover. I bet the seat would look great if your interiors were Tan But ours is grey and the black and tan from the seat REALLY stands out. I have heard that Britax will have covers for sale eventually. I hope so LOL

117. Mini Micro Preschool Scooter

Editorial Review

The three-wheel Preschool Scooter is a good solution for toddlers who, watching older siblings, have contracted a bad case of scooter envy. In front, two 4-inch urethane wheels are placed eight inches apart for stability; at theback, there's a 3-inch wheel and a "spoon" brake just like on those metal "bigkid" scooters. This vehicle is mostly plastic, but sturdy enough for the job, with comfortable foam grips. A cleverly designed "lean-and-steer" mechanism atthe front axle makes it significantly easier to control than some three- orfour-wheel toddler scooters. This one resists the tendency to tip over whengoing around corners. --Richard Farr ... Read more
