    Editorial Review

With just the donning of this helmet you too may command the powers of the Dark Side! Or, at least, you’ll take on the role of the most notorious scourge the Jedi have ever known: Darth Vader. Once you’ve put on this perfect replica of Vader’s trademark mask and chest plate you’ll find yourself in command of not just his tell-tale breathing and five actual movie quotes but also the ability to speak in Darth Vader’s menacing voice. The helmet itself is constructed of hard plastic and can be adjusted to comfortably fit children to young adults (though older adults may be unable to get the mask on). The attached chest plate lets you command the sound effects with just the touch of a button. This unit not only comes with full instructions but also batteries so you’re ready to go right out of the box. In no time you'll be striking fear into the hearts of do-gooders everywhere! --Chip Quinn ... 2-0 out of 5 stars A good concept, but disappointing...
Like most big "kids" who saw the original Star Wars in the theatre, I looked forward to this mask. I already have a non-functional plastic Vader mask, but this seemed to go several steps further.

Just a warning for other adults who might want to buy this for nostalgia's sake: it may look big and claim to be adjustable, but it's really not sized for adults. The black top piece is too short and the masks looks too small when worn. The voice changer is truly useless...it's nothing more than a pitch changer that works on a slight delay. I doubt even James Earl Jones himself would sound good using this thing (well, okay, I take that back, but hopefully you see my point). The breathing is too fast and too short, and must be activated by you pressing a button on the control box (which, by the way, hangs too high in your chest and is not adjustable). That sort of ruins the effect if you're using this mask as part of a costume. I would have liked to see a switch that starts the breathing independantly and keeps playing it until you sto; it.

The movie phrases are poorly edited and inconsistent in quality. This mask was a good idea, but it fell far short of its potential. I'm either going to return it or give it to my nephew.

4-0 out of 5 stars good but not good
It was weird and very not dureble it kept falling off my head. its still kool though.

4-0 out of 5 stars Awesome, but not perfect.
A friend of mine and i bougth the voice changer for his darth vader costume, and we think is really fun to use,the sounds are amazing. We are satisfied, the vision trough the eyes is very good, the are a lot of holes for breathing, it doesn't weigth that much so is easy to wear.
But we have to be honest, there are some few flaws. First, as the toy ismade for kids, it doesn't cover the neck and back of an adult head.
The security sistem of the top of the helmet is weak, so it has to be worn too carefully so it doesn't fall of.
the front chest plate cannot be removed, it doesn't have a lock so you can take it of, and the strips are short. there is no way to enlarge them.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful toy for any Star Wars fan's child!
Being a Star Wars Fan from growing up watching the Original Trilogy I wanted to pass on the joy of Star Wars to my 2 year old son, which in turn has become quite a fan himself (after watching my Trilogy Collection on DVD)!I felt the 3.75" action figures would be too fragile and full of small parts (pistols, lightsabers, gadgets) for such a small child.Enter Star Wars Galactic Heroes. These little figures are great. They're made out of a rubber like material which withstands all the abuse any small child can dish out and then some.Being a Star Wars Fan from growing up watching the Original Trilogy I wanted to pass on the joy of Star Wars to my 2 year old son, which in turn has become quite a fan himself (after watching my Trilogy Collection on DVD)!I felt the 3.75" action figures would be too fragile and full of small parts (pistols, lightsabers, gadgets) for such a small child.Enter Star Wars Galactic Heroes. These little figures are great. They're made out of a rubber like material which withstands all the abuse any small child can dish out and then some. The only flaw I can find is that the loading latch falls out quite often after a while and in turn is sensible to break. But this thing has been dropped over and over for the past 6 months and looks just as it did the first day we got it.

But the truly amazing thing is the likeness the Millennium Falcon has to the OTC spaceship. It's full of wonderful things to do:realistic sounds from the movie (engine going to lightspeed, laser cannons and character sound bite: C3PO, R2D2 and Chewbacca) moving cannons; rotating radar, opening cockpit to place Han Solo into, and more. The educational value from my point of view is how it trains a two or three year old child's fine motor skills; They have to open the back of the Falcon and press a button to fix it's hyperdrive and they have to manipulate all the moving parts. It's a lot of fun for kids and adults as well.We spend hours recreating scenes from the movies and he loves it.

This toy has brought my son and I closer in this fantasy world of Star Wars!!The Millenium Falcon is made out of high impact ABS which can take even more punishment than the figurines. The movable pieces come loose when its dropped from great heights which prevents them from breaking. The only flaw I can find is that the loading latch falls out quite often and after a while becomes likely to break. But this thing has been dropped over and over for the past 6 months and looks just as it did the first day we got it.

5-0 out of 5 stars A bit of tough love can't hurt this toy.
My son got this a few months before his third birthday (xmas present). He is a bit rough with his toys at times, and this has survived his 'tough love.'He really enjoys the little figures (since then we've gotten him more), and plays with them on their own.The Millennium Falcon has given him a bit of fustration since the guys can't go easily up the ramp, and it tend to pop out as a result of the fustration.I do however greatly appreciate the fact that the pieces 'pop off' instead of breaking off in the hands of a fustrated 3 year old. They are also easy to put back on. His 5 1/2 year old sister likes playing with it as well, and the adults get a kick out of it.If the child you're thinking of getting this for is an extremely rough kid, I'd hold off on it.I'd definately recommend the little figures though.

3-0 out of 5 stars very cool toy with a poor design
first of all, don't buy this toy for a child under five. it falls apart easily and small pieces could break off.it's a cool star wars action set, but the pod falls off and the entrance hatch broke off in the first month. the chubby guys that are included couldn;t fit up the ramp anway. chewie is adorable. keep out of reach of fellow star wars fans who might klepto it. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Gundam NT-1
I must say, if your a gundam enthusiast, you have to get this model. This Skill Level 7 was my first and it took me about 3 hours. One completed I was very pleased with how it turned out. So many parts of articulation and the oerall durability was excellent.Though I wouldn't recommend playing with this, it is a model.Overall I gave it a five.

3-0 out of 5 stars The least favored Master Grade kit...
You might like it or hate it. I don't really know. I have one and I am not quite sure about it. The detail of the kit is rather mush compared to other 1/100th scale Master Grade Gundam kits from Bandai. You really need to paint (preferably with an airbrush) it to make it look cooler. And, no. It's a model kit not a toy. It's so fragile that you don't want to play with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Cool Toy
This is a great toy.People who enjoy building models, well this is the model for you.It stands up tall and does not fall over.I had a lot of fun making this toy.I know you will too.It is a fair price and it is well worth it.Buy it! You will be satified! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Cons and Pros
While a good set for chasing down hard to find figures like Green Goblin (which is why I wanted this set) or Electro. The Figures are good if you don't plan to take it out of the box. But if you try to play around with the articulation you'll find they're not as durable as it could be.

Green Goblin for one has both his arms badly supported that if you movie it too much from the torso the 1 thin piece of plastic that's supporting both arms would come loose.

I had a problem again with the durability of Spider-Man. Usually when you buy a new action figure you have to literally break into it cause most of these Marvel Legends figures have really stiff joints that you hav to turn and you'll feel a click inorder to loosen it and pose it. Well, everything was fine till one of the arms refused to rotate and and instead the arm tore off. I had to reconnect it by making a small hole between the forearm and upper part of the arm and using the metal part of a push-pun to reconnect it.

Another con is not all the figures are fully articulate like most of the Marvel Legends figures are like Doc Ock has the least beside the deltoid muscles being fully articulate, the rest of the figure's articulation is just like the old 90s Marvel figure.
Green Gobline also lack articulation on the hand and wrist, the pro to that is though is his hands are really well sculpted.

The best figure in the set with no problems is Venom which uses a repainted Marvel Legends Sabretooth body with full articulation which is a step up from the regular Spiderman line Venom and Electro is well sculpted and fully articulate.

The worst figures are probably Kraven the Hunter and Blackcat.

Overall there are cons and pros to this set. You'll have to weigh it out yourself.

4-0 out of 5 stars Spidey and the Sinister Five
This would be one wicked set if it wasn't for the Black Cat. I was excited that the Cat was getting a Marvel Legend figure and it looked good while it was still in the box. Once I took it out I was disappointed. It is simply overarticulated so that it won't even stay standing with it's base. The rest of the figures in this set were great. Electro is easily my favorite, the articulation on this figure is perfect and the likeness is spot on.

3-0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware!
I had trouble with the Green Goblin figure in which the hand/forearm separated from his arm.At each point of articulation it seems that whatever is used to "finish" the piece causes it to stick. The Goblin's arm separated at this "point of articulation".No problem; I'll just ask Toy Biz to replace the piece for me because it was clearly defective. However, after speaking with a customer service rep, I was offered given the "choice" to send the entire set of all seven figures back.BUT, the customer service rep said that I may NOT receive a Spiderman & the Sinister Six set back.It could be replaced with another set such as the Fantastic Four. What a bunch of baloney!Who would replace a defective product with something out of their grab bag?!I bought this set and I want THIS set! They are great figures but I can guarantee that the "points of articulation" will also stick on your set and one of yours may even separate. Then line up in the "Suckers" line behind me. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Yoda the 8 ball
I grew up with the "8 ball" - asking it Yes or No questions to see how it would answer. Now we have something even better!Yoda!!I got this as a gift this year and absolutely LOVE IT.Ask a Yes or No question - press his left hand and he has like 20+ different random answers!I had some friends over for dinner and we kept passing him around - everyone found this to be very entertaining. This is great for adults and young people.I may even take Yoda to the office! This is a MUST HAVE for Star Wars fans and collectors.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this thing!
From the first time I watched Star Wars Episode V, and saw Yoda, everybody else in the theatre thought he was a stupid little green alien, BUT I KNEW! Yoda is the wisest of all the Jedi Masters, and this toy is so cool! So far, he's helped me find $20 on the street, avoid a party where everybody was caught drinking, and get me a girlfriend. It worked for me, it'll work for you, too!

3-0 out of 5 stars Oooahh! Scary this is!
Got this for mother for Christmas I did, mmm! Very reminiscent of the interactive furby-type Yoda toy from a few years back this is, only not quite so interactive, mmm hmmm hmm hmm! Like the Magic Eight-Ball this is, only a little more disturbing, yet kinda cute, yeess. Like Grover from Sesame Street after a weekend bender his voice sounds like! If built like the aforementioned Furby-ish toy, disintegrate his eyelids will after a couple years you should expect! Then always watching over you he will be, constantly staring, yeeess. Into the darkest, deepest pits of your soul he will gaze, your sickest, most depraved secrets and fears he will uncover, against you one day he'll use... oooaaahh! Bladder control I'm almost losing from such disquieting thoughts, mmm, yeess!

Speaking of bladders: leave now I have to, yeess. Perform the "drawing out of the dark side" I must, if what I mean you know, heh...

My 3 year old loves this, he also has the millenium falcon, which he loves even more! They are more durable then you might expect, yes he does taske them apart, but they don't break and are able to be put back together!

4-0 out of 5 stars this toy is fun
i liked this toy because it has luke skywalker.i got it when i was 5.this toy makes lots of sounds from star wars.it can even mov e its laser guns.it comes with r2d2 and luke skywalker.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very nice toy for little hands
After getting the Millenium Falcon for her 8 yr old cousin, I saw that this was the favorite toy among the kids at the party. The one I got had 4 feet to the Falcon (Iguess a spare) and putting on all the stickers was definetly an adult job. This is an absolutely great gift for kids (boys or girls).Very durable and oh so cute.

I wish Hasbro would put out a Galactic Heroes Speeder Bike and Jungle Leia with Ewok (that would be soooo cute and to have a girl with a vehicle) and they also need a TIE Fighter with a Darth Vader!I am looking for an excuse to get the Falxon and X-Wing for my daughter, because mommy already has a big falcon and can't justify getting another!

My 4 yr old daughter loves Queen Amidala and kept asking for another one (I found 2 "skipper" sized golls on clearance). She LOVES Princess Leia and her husband Han Solo. She carries then everywhere and has them to parties with the Happy Family Barbie todlers. Now if I can oly find the Padme & Anakin set, she will be in heaven!I hope they come out with more girl jedi's in their two packs.Even though mommy loves Darth Vader, she can't get into the concept of liking a scary bad guy.I guess I'll keep those for when she's older.

With most action figures, not much in the way of educational value but she role plays with these two all the time. A+ to Hasbro and Star Wars for coming out with cute kid friendly action figures! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Must have for Scooby Doo fans!
The mystery machine may be made of plastic, but it is pretty sturdy. My 4 year old son can vouch for that! He absolutely loves this van! The back of the van flips open so you can trap the 2 glow in the dark monsters in the cage, and it has a door that can lock them in! My son loves it that he got his 2 favorite characters (Scooby Doo and Shaggy) with this van. The front doors of the van open so the characters can go inside. This is a wonderful toy for any scooby doo fan!

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed in toy
Although my son loves the Mystery Machine, it is made of CHEAP, CHEAP, plastic.Shaggy's arms keep falling off, the scooter is already broken, and the ghose cage is always coming apart. If I had known it was going to be like this, I would have never ordered the van.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best DX Megazord ever
This DX Megazord rocks!! It includes cool sounds and light effect, and it also includes its weapons that are used in the show. And also...... surprisingly connects with my Ninja Storm zords(Dolphinzord and Lionzord's head) which is really cool!! And--ah man, I can't wait for the DX Cyclemax Megazord to come out in stores so I can combined my Delta Squad Megazord with it and creates the powerful OmegaMax Megazord!!

3-0 out of 5 stars All in all not a bad megazord
My son (4) and I (33) collect Power Rangers Zords. He has several from the first (MMPR) to now the SPD Delta Squad Megazord (newest available) and all in all it is very smooth, easy to transform, and attractive. The only draw backs are that it is a bit small for a megazord (only 10 inches tall or so), and the sword, gun and handcuffs are a bit delicate. The best thing about it is that all the accessories are able to be stowed on the zord itself. The gun and sword blade fit in the green truck (vehicle #2 - the left leg) and the sword handle is the spotlight rig on the yellow armored car. (vehicle #4 - left arm) If they had made it bigger it would be one of the best for design and looks.

    Editorial Review

Pokémon Sapphire's updated graphics with weather effects, amazing sound, more than 200 Pokémon with over 100 new species--as well as its faithful adherence to the existing series of Pokémon games--makes for a welcome evolution in the series.

First, the game has a lot in common with Pokémon games Silver, Gold, and Crystal. For example, players can choose to be a boy or a girl trainer, an internal clock sets events at certain times, and the game's handy-dandy Pokédex helps players keep track of the many stats. You're main goal is still to beat all the Gym Trainers and become the Pokémon Master. If you've played the old games, you will be right at home. But not all is the same.

The most obvious change is in the battles themselves. Now that two Pokémon can fight on your side at the same time, you can tag-team them against an enemy by taking advantage of the strengths of your Pokémons while covering their weaknesses. For example, you can now have a water Pokémon watch your fire Pokémon's back. You can also attack more than one Pokémon at a time.

A whole new element to the game focuses on how berries are used in battle. And if you collect enough berries, you can take them to a Berry Blender and make a PokéBlock, which is a little super-charged candy that raises your Pokémon's "Condition" attributes. You can then groom your Pokémon for regional contests and compete for ribbons like "Best of Show," which will unlock additional contests. There's even strategy in how to best use your berries: pick too many and the berry tree will disappear; plant berries, though, and a tree will grow. Editorial Review

Pokémon Ruby's updated graphics with weather effects, amazing sound, more than 200 Pokémon with over 100 new species--as well as its faithful adherence to the existing series of Pokémon games--makes for a welcome evolution in the series.

First, the game has a lot in common with Pokémon games Silver, Gold, and Crystal. For example, players can choose to be a boy or a girl trainer, an internal clock sets events at certain times, and you’re the game's handy-dandy Pokédex helps players keep track of the many stats.

You can also build a Secret Base in special areas of the game, which you can decorate just like you can your room.

4-0 out of 5 stars I can't believe i'm going to write this...
OK, I'm 18 years old and i'm obsessed with pokemon, have been ever since I was 11. but after a long wait I finally got my hands on firered and i'm afraid to say I was disappointed, not because it was poor quality, because it was excellent, but because it lacked a challenge, everything was the same as the original but it had just been revamped, don't get me wrong I love it and everything but I want something new. if you haven't played the original then definitely buy this game but otherwise don't expect something new

5-0 out of 5 stars freakin fun!
i have so much fun with these games, it's like the #1 thing to play during travel, or just when you have a boring time at the airport. the funniest thing i did was name my pokemon and rival funny names. my rival's name is mud. while my pokemon have names like dumpface. this game will blow you away with the new islands
and hidden pokemon from new pokemon games.

5-0 out of 5 stars great game!

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think this game is awesome! It's a really cool game!
When I first played Pokemon Stadium, I looked for other Pokemon games, so I found this. It hs a unique story plot too it. You have too rescue Shadow Pokemon, and open the door to their hearts. Ther's this guy that stole a snagging machine so he could snag shadow pokemon, and a girl who can tell which pokemon are shadows. And the cool thing is that you can nam them yourself, so they suit you.
You start out with 2 pokemon, but as youi snag more you will end up with a lot more! The only thing that isn't cool is Battle Mode. You have to have
    1. a gameboy advance
    2. a link cable
    3. either pokemon shappire, or pokemon fire
Me or any of myfriends, don't have those games so we can't battle.(wahh!!!)
But otherwise then that this game rocks! And I think that any pokemon fan, or even people who are just experincing it should buy this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars pretty cool game
This game is very fun even for me because i stopped playin pokemon games for like 1 year but this was really fun. The graphics to me look really cool like when your pokemon evolve.

There are good points and bad points i shall tell u about. The bad part is the people dont actually talk just the transcript comes. Also its strange because u can only catch "specific pokemon" not the ones you want to catch. You can only snag specific pokemon. And if u miss it u cant try to catch it again and that means no ho-oh!!!!!!!!!!

Now i prefer you save before goin to any of the main pple like miror b or dakim because dakim has entei! For pokemon lovers this game is really cool.

Good parts are well its really fun and addictive oh ya i forgot to tell u about group battle. You need a gameboy advance or sp and that pak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! which is pretty sad. It looks cool on the ads and it is cool but its not wat i expected but its stil fun. There are only 48 pokemon which u can snag in the game. Even in like ruby or sapphire or any of those games there are like 150 pokemon. A pretty cool game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good, but could've been better
As a long time Pokemon fan I was slightly dissapointed by this game, I mean it was good, but I think it should've been 2 games. The part I enjoyed the most (the actuall "Colosseum" part), with the battle mountian and stadium, I think could've had a few more features if it had been a game by itself. The 100 trainer knock out challenge, with your Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red, Leaf Green, or Story Mode pokemon, is the funnest aspect of the game. The Story Mode could have been better, quite frankly, I'd expected a little more from the first 3D pokemon RPG. The whole concept of "snagging" pokemon from trainers, and then purifying them is a little lacking, and doesn't work as well as catching wild pokemon. It would have been better if there had been more pokemon to choose from, there weren't a whole lot of good pokemon to snag. The best pokemon in the game are your starters, espeon and umbreon. Also, it's hard to have all you're pokemon at high levels by the time of the final battle; because they can't go up any levels before they are purified, and that takes awhile! If I were to re-do Story Mose, I'd stick soley with espeon and umbreon the whole game! Another thing I'd like to note is that all battles in Story mode are double battles (where you use 2 pokemon at once), which isn't nessearely a bad thing. It's not that Story Mode isn't fun, I just didn't feel it lived up to its Gameboy counterparts. I'm eager to see if the newely annouced sequel to Colosseum, currently titled: Pokemon XD, Dark Winds Dark Lugia, does a better job than Colosseum. I have heard that there will be a wider range of pokemon to snag, that's a start. In this new game, it seems you will start with a Lv.5 eevee (the un-evloved form of espeon and umbreon, as well as flareon, jolteon, and vaporeon), it seems you will probably get to pick your "eon" this time. Anyway, bottom line is, if you're a pokemon fan, I recommed getting Coloseum, it's great to see your Gameboy pokemon battling on the 100 trainer challenge, and it is an experiance to play a pokemon RPG in 3D. Overall, it really is a good game. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The better X-Wing; the best re-release
As far as overall appeal, piece count, size enhancement, and added bonuses, the 4502 X-Wing Fighter is, by far, the greatest re-release in the Star Wars Lego line. (The only other comparable re-issue might be the Falcon.) With this set you go from 263 pieces in the 7140/7142 X-Wing to 563! That's a 300-piece increase, which, by anyone's standards is worth the increase in price (I hope). And while a number of those added parts are used in Yoda's hut, the disparity between the two X-Wings is anywhere from vast to incredibly immense. The only negative difference here is the color scheme; in 'The Empire Strikes Back', the X-Wing is obviously gray, not white. But that's a minor hitch in such a beautiful set.

This set comes with three minifigs: Yoda, R2-D2 and Luke, who sports Dagobah apparel (torn green shirt, backpack) rather than the typical orange, X-Wing Fighter outfit. So you don't get Biggs Darklighter or the rebel mechanic, but that's because this is in fact a Dagobah-themed set. Along with Yoda comes his infamous hut. It can unfold from its cozy, stoplight-shape so that you can see everything inside, which includes a stovetop & saucepan and a (small) eating area. Yoda does not come with a lightsabre, but instead a walking stick. Now on to the X-Wing....

One of the first things you will notice about this set is that the way the wings extend is a great deal more complicated. In the original X-Wing, all you had to do was "click" them up or down one notch. Here, an onslaught of technic pieces come together to allow you simply to turn a knob and, thus watch the four wings move into place all at once. Most impressive. Also, the wing size is much larger, making it a wider load. The snout here is also enlarged, by about an inch, which makes it look all the more prominent. A couple more things: the area that holds R2 is, fittingly, more enclosed and the Dagobah swamp theme is carried out even on the X-Wing itself, with a couple of seaweed leaves. These are all small-but-important added bonuses.

Putting this set together took well over an hour, although it never became tedious or tiresome at any point. And I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The only thing that keeps this X-Wing from being "perfect" is its durability (or lack thereof). Here and there a piece may come flying off at you, whether it's the antennas attached to the wings or the seaweed leaves. The wings are pretty stable as long as you NEVER use your hands to move them up and down. That creates a huge re-assemblage mess I hope no one ever experiences. I guess I am inclined to say that this set works best as a displayer, as I don't recommend zooming it from Dagobah to Cloud City and back too often, if you know what I mean. All in all, I couldn't recommend a Star Wars Lego set more than this one. The price is right when you consider you're getting a much better, much bigger X-Wing and Yoda's hut--something that would have been sadly missed had it not appeared somewhere. Get this set before it zooms past you.

4-0 out of 5 stars Cool Set
This is one of the most confusing ships to build for me. I love the structure but it will break easily. I like Yoda's hut. It comes with two good minifigs and two light sabres.

3-0 out of 5 stars don't waste your money
Overall this toy isn't worth $50. x-wing is cool, but certain parts fall off very easily. the lego yoda's hut is larger than scale compared to the movie one. In the movie luke has to crawl to get it, it's easy for him to fit in the lego one (which is kinda good, but kinda bad.) I'd say this is worth $20-$30, but no more. Many cooler legos for the same price ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice R4 Unit
I'm looking forward to seeing this guy in Episode III. He is a gold-colored droid that apart from his color looks alot like R2D2. Cute little guy and a fun toy to play with.

    5-0 out of 5 stars R2-D2 with a k-razy paint job!
Ok,it's not so k-razy,but this R2-unit is a really fun little guy.Place him near any light source and his 'eye' glows orange. His arms/legs/whatever are poseable as are his feet/hands/whatevers and if you spin his dome around - presto - his little third leg (I'm sorry,I really don't know what else to call it) extends downwards or stows back in his body.

And,big plus - that stupid looking blue ball thingy can be easily removed and thrown away - I mean, stored for the day when this becomes a valuable collectible.

This Figure Is Calling And Saying Buy Me Because The Art Work And Craftmanship is Unbeliveable. Go Out And Buy This Awesome Figure

4-0 out of 5 stars Now Luke Skywalker, You Will Die
The Unleashed line of toys continues with this figure of Darth Sidious. His face doesn't really match the one seen in RETUN OF THE JEDI, but the amount of detail and action in the sculpt help make up for it.The figure comes with two pairs of hands. One normal, the other features blue lightning bolts shooting out from his fingertips.I found it was best to display the figure with one regular hand and one hand with lightning. If you attach both hands with the lightning at the same time the amount of lightning looks a bit ridiculous plus his face can get obscured from certain angles.

Drawbacks - You'll have to find a safe place to store the hands not attached to the figure. The lightning bolts seem pretty sturdy, but I'm sure if they got bent they would break. On my figure the paint job on the pair of hands that have lightning is rather sloppy.

I recommend this figure, but it doesn't reach the high standard set by other figures in the series. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Basically a rental title
I rented this once at gamefly(like netflix, only you rent games), and when I rented this title, I thought I was in for a surprise. But all it is is a remake of blue and red. Although I played a decent amount of hours, the new islands of new pokemon give the game a little better replay value.

If there's anyone out there who thinks that the Pokemon craze would just be another fad, disappearing from public consciousness in a matter of months, well, think again. The popularity of the Japanese monster collecting game shows no sign of slowing and may in fact be growing thanks to improving technology, evidenced in new products such as this hand held Pokedex. It features electronically stored information on all 200 Pokemon Advanced monsters and features such as personalization and tracking up to six of your favorite Pokemon. You can earn trainer points as you capture the various critters on various different terrains offered. Beyond the traditional capture game, there are other challenges available including a Pokemon quiz and a new game where you help Mudkip run without tiring the poor guy out. This toy ROCKS! And I thought that the first Pokedex that was in stores was cool! This is WAY better! It actually looks like the real thing from the show! you can even catch pokemon, something that you could never, EVER do in the first one, even find pokemon in a new, cool way, by type, habitat and alphabetical!
I give it 2 thumbs up!

1-0 out of 5 stars ZERO STARS!!!This Item SUCKS! (for lack of a better word)
I have bought 2 of these and BOTH broke in less than 5 minutes. The first one's battery fell out as soon as my son started playing with it and his grandfather assumed he would just put the battery back in, but it didn't fix it.The screen went blank and it did not work after that.It still doesn't.Then I thought it was a "dud" Pokedex so I bought another one for my son.He played it for about 2 minutes and all the sudden the screen froze and it started making a clicking and humming sound.I took out the battery in hopes to "refresh" the Pokedex and even after taking the battery out it STILL made the noises!!So I put the battery back in, but it didn't fix it.For 2 months the clicking and humming sounds went on and on and on.I wasted $60.00 on these pieces of junk!)@(#!

4-0 out of 5 stars unstable
this toy is very fun but be warned, if you think
the little 'bonus' qualifys for not getting general grievious,
you're wrong. it also sometimes the part where GG sits moves
independently from the wheel, looking weird.
and it may roll on its own.

5-0 out of 5 stars "Exlusive" Figure is Crap, But Everything Else Looks Good
For the most part we, the consumers, purchase a VEHICLE set for the vehicle, not an extra pack in meant to draw in unwary buyers. So listing the absolutly terrible "Exclusive"Greivous as a downfall for the set as a whole is just picky. The vehicle in itself (the main attraction of the package), isn't all bad.Sure, it isn't the greatest of vehicles but it is very likely the only wheel bike that will come out, and you can bet that the wheel bike will hold a special place in the movie (f.y.i. the Obi-Wan Greivous chase scene), so that alone makes it worth buying.Don't let the other reviews make this package out to be absolute crap, after all, it's a plastic vehicle made for playing with; NOT made for perfect acuracy. It's out there to be fun to play with along with your other 3/4 inch figures, and it does that job exceedingly well.So what if it's balance isn't flawless, you purchase it to play with, not display (at least most people do).Bottom line:enjoy it for what it is:a good representation of the new movie vehicle. Not what you THINK it should be.This is a good purchase.

1-0 out of 5 stars NOT AS COOL AS IT LOOKS...
It looks cool. It wants to be cool. I WANTED it to be cool. But it's not.

    Here's the skinny:
~ The exclusive figure does not fit in the chair.
(be warned the "Wheel-General" is barely articulated)
    ~ The piece is ill-balanced.
~ It rolls unsteadily (when it rolls).
    ~ It stands poorly.
~ It's awkward to hold and clumsy to play with.
~ and to top it off, it "feels" cheap.

Do not be swayed by the stunning packaging. Do not be fooled by the exclusive figure. This is a weak offering from the Hasbro team. Don't get caught up in the hype, learn from my mistake. ... Read more

This is one heck of a deal! These figures are great because they look just like the expensive eighty dollar maquettes, but you get them at a fraction of the price. Amazon sweetens the deal even more by giving you two figures for what some stores charge for the price of one! It doesn't get any better than this! (Momentary pause to see if the Swedish Bikini Team shows up with more figures. Nope. Oh well, I had to try.) The figures look great too, like they almost walked right out of the Justice League cartoon. Batman is dark, brooding, and tough. And Wonder Woman is hot for a cartoon female. If Yogi Bear and I were out cruising for chicks, I'd have to make a play for the Amazon Princess. Anyway, they're great figures at a great deal. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars response to poor review: GI Joe accessories are props
As a mom of four boys (one who actually is a Marine), I know that the items that come with the GI Joe's are really "props"--none of them are intended for the type of play these parents had in mind. Many people who buy these action figures view them as collectibles. My youngest son does collect GI Joe's--the Marines, especially.

You need to do a little more research before you buy a toy for your kids, otherwise you will end up disappointed. There are better choices out there if you want your children to have "interactive" fun with their action figures.

1-0 out of 5 stars This toy STINKS!
My husband bought this toy for my son because he loves parachutes. There are no instructions on how to attach the parachute to the action figure and no plausible way of doing it. The parachute is of pretty good quality, but if it cannot be attached to the toy or CANNOT BE USED AS A PARACHUTE it is useless and frustrating and disappointing to a little boy AND his father!!! The quality of the accessories is very cheap also, since the gun and scope fall apart if touched. ... Read more
