    Editorial Review

This is a happy, noisy toy that should amuse most toddlers. Everything that can be touched reacts in some way, from a trombone-playing frog to a book that sings the alphabet. Our favorite is the colored keyboard that sings each color you press. The tabletop can be placed on the floor for those still in the crawling phase, or can sit on the included legs for a sturdy surface and leaning spot for little ones who are new to walking. If there is any fault with the Learning Table, it may be that it has too many features: each element of the table reacts in two different ways, depending on whether it's in Learn Mode or Music Mode. (Modes are switched by flipping the page of the book mounted in the center of the table.) Though this means more fun stuff for kids to hear, the mode concept is not one that they can be expected to understand, and the effect of the toy's inconsistent reactions is likely to be confusion. --David Stoesz ... My daughter got this table for Christmas when she was 6 months old. She wasn't standing yet so we took the legs off and put it on the floor for her to play with. She's been playing with it everyday since. She's now 11 months and still loves it.

A full set of developmental toys that will delight and grow with children from birth to their first year are integrated into this gift set by Sassy Toys. Newborns will reflexively grasp the Mini Polka Dot Rattle but won't let go, captivated by the colors they see. It has a classic baby rattle shape with plastic rings and a nubbed handle for tactile stimulation. An innovation in rattle design, the Pogo rattle is atom-shaped. It has lots of places to hold and is more than a tool for distracting a cranky baby, it's also a teether. Smiley Face Rattle adds more interactivity with a push-button squeak nose, crazy eyes, and a mirror on its backside for when self-awareness dawns. Winner of the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum Award for best toy, Fascination Station has so much to focus on: four spinning delights of sight, feel, and sound mounted on a base that can be hand-held or stand on its own. Each of these toys has won numerous parent association and industry awards for age-appropriate design features and exceptional quality and safety. (Birth to 12 months) --Lynne Sampson ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed with the shipping of toys
I think these toys are great and would have been satisfied if I bought these for my own 3 month old son. However these were for a gift and they were shipped NOT in their original packages but just thrown in a shipping box loose with ablack & white photocopied paper describing each toy. I though it looked horrible! And to give this to someone for a baby shower gift looks cheap! They should have been in the original packages at least!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great First Toys!
At 3 months, my son is just starting to notice toys and the Fascination Station has been one of the first toys he has started playing with. The toy suctions to a table or high chair and has a wheel much like a ferris wheel that has several different spinning and rattling parts. I read other reviews about the suction cup not sticking well, or the toy coming out of it's base.We have not had that problem - and this toy was a hand-me-down from a friend whose now 2 year old played with it as well.We now bring it with us when we go out to dinner and it entertains and distracts my son(and sometimes my husband as well!). It is hard to find toys to bring to resteraunts to entertain a small child that pack easily and aren't too noisy so as to distract other diners.

The Smiley face rattle is also great. My son is just starting to notice himself in the mirror and really enjoys the mirror on the back of the rattle. The squeaky noise is fun too.I've been anxiously waiting for him to start playing with toys and it is now just as much fun for me to interact with him using this toy.

I find these toys durable, brightly colored and they really hold an infant's interest. These toys have been a must have in our family and I've recommended them to a couple of friends who are expecting and have already added these to their baby registry!

5-0 out of 5 stars A must have
No toy chest is complete without these.I would add the stacking cups and it's a perfect set. ... Read more

Baby Tad is a wonderful interactive toy that makes early learning fun andeasy. Baby Tad (short for tadpole) helps your preschooler learn shapes, colors, activities, and songs. When your little one presses a colored light-up button, Tad identifies the colorand shape indicated on the button. With his cheerful demeanor and infectious laugh, Tadoffers support and encouragement and will quickly become a close and trusted friend.Besides various greetings,a squeeze of Tad's hand brings forth favorite children's songs, sung in a squeaky, high-pitched voice. --Alison Golder ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Difficult to push buttons, turns off quickly
My 10-month old daughter always smiles when I bring out Baby Tad, but in my opinion the toy is not very well designed for babies. The buttons, embedded in fabric, are really hard for her to push. After a few seconds of not having any buttons pushed, Baby Tad turns off automatically, bringing a quick end to playtime unless I'm sitting there with her pushing the buttons. Could have been a great toy, but I think they missed the boat.

I gave my granddaughter this toy on her first birthday, hoping it was not too young for her Every time I have seen her, she has been playing with it.She is 22 months and this time she started singing songs from it (unbeknownst to me). When I started singing with her, she brought it over and we sang every song together. What a perfect toy - colors, shapes, songs!

4-0 out of 5 stars cute and playful but not for a 6 month old

5-0 out of 5 stars Favourite baby toy of both my kids
The Whoozit was given to my daughter as a gift and frankly before I had it, I'd have looked at the price and bought a cheaper toy. However it was on her favourite toys as a baby.In fact she played with it until she was 1 1/2 years old, which is a very long time for a baby toy. Now it's my son's favourite. He only has the use of one hand, but it's light enough that he can play with it.It has 7 striped legs with different shapes and textures, a plush red nose that squeaks with a mirror underneath and a terry cloth semi-circle mouth that you can hold onto. The back has a black and white bull's eye pattern which was fascinating to both children when they were under 2 months old.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great baby toy.
I have bought each one of my kids this whoozit and I recently bought my daughter one she is 81/2 months old only I bought her the girl version called whoozit tizoo it is shaped like a heart and WOW she loves it. You can play peekaboo with it and she learns the different shapes and textures. I LOVE this toy and have for years. We also bought the small version for travel. This is a great toy for when they start to focus on things and they will fall in love with it and sleep/play with it for a long time. WHOOZIT is worth every penny...

My daughter got this as a gift when she was born from a friend that said this was her girls favorite toy.The backside of this toy is a black and white bullseye, my daughter at 2 months could not stop looking at it.Now, at three months, I have this hanging on the side of her play pen (with the help of some link-a-loos) and I prop her up next to it with her boppy and she reaches for the nose, smiles and babbles to it.It so funny to watch her with it.Next to her mobile, and my silly faces, it is the thing that she seems most interested in. ... With a little help from a bigger friend (parent, guardian…), young children can launch into the world of learning via interactive books. Little Touch LeapPad is designed for tots 6 to 36 months, with three distinct levels of activities and stories: musical rhythms and sounds; short descriptive phrases; and rhymes and early learning. Stories or activity cards snap into the book frame, along with a story cartridge. Grownups will need to help little ones activate the book pages by touching the "Go" button every time a page is turned, as well as showing young "readers" how to touch pictures to make them come to life with developmentally appropriate narration and learning activities. A comfy cushion is attached to the LeapPad platform for cozy shared reading time. Four AA batteries required (not included). --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Frustrating, poorly made, but a good idea
I wish this Leap Pad had lived up to its potential! I was so excited when it came out just in time for my 3rd child. My older two had greatly enjoyed Leappad products, and I was eager to start my youngest on them too.I bought the Little Touch and 3 book sets right away.My daughter was too young at first to try them.I first gave it a try when she was 6 months, and she had no interest. So I tried again at 9 months. This time she was VERY interested, but it was a totally frustrating time for her.She caught on right away she needed to touch the pages, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't touch hard enough. She broke into tears after a short time.I tried touching for her, but she has little interest in books unless she can hold and mouth them. She tried holding the pages, and badly wrinkled several of them. It's not really a fun learning experience when you are constantly saying "no"!

I do like the whole idea of this product, and I think that if they overcame some of the engineering problems, it would be quite nice.I like the different levels, so that you can just hear music, or hear simple phrases, or hear the whole book. The activity cards included with each book also seem a bit more heavy duty than the regular books, but they too greatly frustrated us in terms of being touchable!

I also question including Where the Wild Things Are as one of the books.I love the book, and my sons do too, but it's NOT a baby book---it's probably fine for 3 and up, but not really something a baby would relate to.I think it's a choice to draw in parents, not babies.

I might try the similar Fisher-Price product if I can find it for a low price.Sorry, Leap Pad!

2-0 out of 5 stars Also disappointed
My twin daughters got this product for their 1st birthday. We have tried to use it several times, but my daughters are more interested in playing with the on/off button and the volume button placed right on the front of the base than they are in listening and looking at the book.It would have been smarter for LeapFrog to have placed these buttons on the back or on the side where they would have been out of eye sight of little ones.I also agree that the touch pad isn't sensitive enough for little ones to push. It's a pain for even ME to get the different spots in the book to activate. However, I haven't had the troubles others have had with the pages ripping. They are made of a paper-type material, but have proven to be very durable. My daughters drag the leap pad around the house by the pages of the books and still haven't had one tear.BUT . . . the pages are very wrinkled making it hard to see the images and also causing the pages to no longer lay flat.My girls are now almost two and still don't care for the leap pad.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not what it appears to be
I was highly disappointed with this. We bought this for my son at Christmas (16 months old then) thinking it would be a great educational toy for him to play with when I couldn't be sitting down with him (like when I'm cooking). We were terribly wrong! We have 2 friends who also bought this and are just as disappointed.

This is not a toy you can give a child and walk away. First, it's complicated to use for a toddler. Every time you turn a page, you must hit the green go button. RIGHT! Second, the books are made of paper and are pretty flimsy. Plus they are rather pricey for the cheap quality. Third, the setting that reads the story is so slow, my impatient toddler never lets me wait to turn the pages before the story is ready. Finally, I'm not pleased with the educational value of the books for the cost. I can buy books on shapes, color, numbers, etc myself and sit and go through the books with my son and he gets a lot more out of it.

Overall, I should have taken this (and the 5 books we bought) back and bought something else. ... Read more

    5-0 out of 5 stars Well-made product
A sturdy and well-made puzzle. My twin girls are a little late in developing fine motor skills, so this was a great choice for them. It's a BIG puzzle and the individual pieces are large enough that they're hard to lose. They're well-finished enough that it seems safe to let the little ones chew on them. The variety of shapes and images underneath are nice.

4-0 out of 5 stars Super Developmental Activity for Little Ones!
I purchased the Jumbo Knob Puzzle: Shapes for my son's 1st birthday. It was too difficult at first, but he quickly grew into it.We'd work it together, and I'm still amazed how much he'd retain the next time we would attempt to put it together.I like that we could work on shapes, colors, matching, and developmental skills in the same toy.Additionally, the jumbo knobs are easy to work, and the pieces don't have to go in with the label upright. This is especially helpful when placing the octagon, and the pentagon pieces.William was fond of this puzzle, and it's held up extremely well.He finally allowed me to put it in the closet with the rest of his baby toys, and he's almost 4-years old.

There are pictures underneath, but not the pictures of the shape. This toy requires a bit more thinking than the typical "pictures under the pieces" puzzle. The pictures are animated objects that reflect everyday life, such as, a clock, a house, and a school bus.The pieces are very chunky for little hands, and have large jumbo knobs. My only gripe is with some of the picture selections. The diamond picture is a close-up of a diamond window. My son didn't know what it was, and when I asked him today he said, "I guess it's a diamond, mom."Perhaps, a better choice would be a kite.At any rate, the puzzle makes an excellent activity for young children. I definitely recommend it.

2-0 out of 5 stars too expensive
this puzzle costs entirely too much for what it offers. you can get the same quality puzzle for $15.00 less at a local store. It held my 2 year old's attention for about 5 minutes and that was it. B-O-R-I-N-G. ... Read more

When it comes to musical instruments, the drum is arguably one of theeasiest to play: just give it a smack. Fortunately, LeapFrog has created a drumthat's sure to provide ongoing delight. It's an electronic instrument with fourdifferent settings. When set to "ABC," each pat of the drum displays a letter onthe drum's top while a friendly voice says the letter out loud. The letters aresequential, so the drummer learns the alphabet. The "123" option works in asimilar way. There are also options for musical notes and a traditional drumsound. An off control and two volume settings will be welcomed by parents whoare sure to hear this drum being played with repeatedly. If the young drummerpauses for a while, the friendly voice plays a little song or asks to be playedwith again. --John Moe ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Leapfrog Songs
Yes, they're all the same.Once you have one toy, you have all of them. All the Leapfrog toys have the same songs.I would spend your money in one of the more expensive Leapfrog toys, and forget buying the rest, unless you love listening to the songs over and over and over. However, I do like the Leapfrog learning toys. Please, Leapfrog, invest your money in more/different songs and sounds!

4-0 out of 5 stars Good for those learning to sit
We received this as a gift for our son when he was around 5 1/2 months and starting to sit alone. He really enjoyed it initially and I like the fact that it would respond to his thumping even if it was upside down or on it's side.

However, I do agree that it turns itself off way too quickly and it is a tad repetitive. ... Read more

The pyramid-shaped Grip and Grab Rattle is made of sturdy, safety-tested plastic tubes in bright colors that are connected by clear plastic spheres. Each sphere contains a red bead, smaller beads move freely through the tubes when the rattle is shaken. So what's the big deal? You'll have to ask a baby. For some reason, they love this thing--won't put it down. They'll go to sleep to the sound of it being gently shaken in front of them, or will miraculously be distracted from the car-seat fussies. (Mini van dealers should include the Grip and Grab as a standard feature).

This Lamaze rattle also provides learning opportunities for babies, almost from birth. The tubes are about the diameter of an adult finger--perfect for grabbing with tiny hands, and later, for chomping with tiny gums and teeth. Early lessons in cause and effect and hand- eye coordination are taught when baby moves and the rattle shakes. Included in the packaging is a booklet about infant development and creative ideas on how to use the toy, as well as a U.S. lifetime warranty. Winner of several national awards, including a National Parenting Center Seal of Approval and a National Parenting Publications Honors Award. --Katherine Ferguson ... Read more

Who cares if this toy encourages visual development or independent play? As far as my baby is concerned this toy Makes Noise. Lots of it. In fact, I think that if she'd learned the war-cry of the Rohirrim, she'd be doing that to accompany the violent shaking she gives the rattle. Raaaaarhhhhh. 1-0 out of 5 stars Choking hazard
The nose is glued and sewn on, but my baby still managed to chew it off.I found it hanging by a thread from it's face one day.So, cut off the nose before giving it to your baby, or never leave your baby alone with it once teething starts.

Too bad about the nose because my baby loves his puppytunes.

1-0 out of 5 stars Dangerous toy - has been taken off the market in Denmark !
"Puppytunes" contains phthalates and has been taken off the market in Denmark!

The Danish environmental protection agency (Danish ministry of the Environment) also found the "multi sensory clutch cube" from Lamaze to contain TCEP and it has also been taken off the market.

TCEP can cause cancer and damage to the kidneys, and children should not be in contact with it.

We bought this toy for my son's first birthday and he loves it! He loves the cause and effect of making the cars go down the ramp. It's extremly durable because he likes to try to stand on it, and it doesn't even buckle. Very well built!

My daughter just received this two days ago on her second birthday, and she has not stop playing with it since!I've never seen her so dedicated to one toy.Every morning when she wakes up, she runs straight to it and starts running cars up and down the ramps. My husband is impressed too with how sturdy this is.It would take a lot to break it.I highly recommend this toy!

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST EVER
This gymni is a great buy. I bought this for my daughter when she was two months old and it was the greatest toy ever. She loved looking at the toys at first and begun to kick her legs.Within a few weeks she would bat at the toys and pretty soon she could grab them. This was the greatest toy for my newborn she could lay under it for hours.Which made housework so easy for me because she was very happy under her play gym.Great toy and I recommend it for any newborn. After she was to old for the gym at about six months when she could sit up.She now enjoys playing with the detachable rattle, mirror and music box. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars awesome!!!
I would not have thought much of the item based on packaging but we received this as a gift and it is my 2 1/2-year old's favorite. She loves the thing. It is now one of our favorite gifts to give. I have not heard of any problems and all the parts are sturdy. It is very cute to see how every little girl 'knows' to sling it over her wrist (I don't carry my purse that way..) Although, we are as likely to find trains and matchbox cars inside as we are to find the lipstick. Definately a great little item!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent!
My daughter got this purse for Christmas last year when she was 18 months old. She is still playing with it all of the time! She loves to take her purse everywhere, just like mommy does! :) She is so proud of her purse that she is constantly showing it to people. Her favorite things out of the purse are the lipstick, keys, and card case. She loves to put her own items in the purse as well. This is a very cute set!

4-0 out of 5 stars Cute, very cute
I wanted to get my only little girl her own purse, so she could be like mommy... I have 4 children, 3 year old b/g twins, and 8 month old b/b twins. she got this purse when she was 18 months and she has some new "favorites", but this was a hit anyways. She loves the lipstick, and the sunglasses case (we bought her disney ones) and the mirror. But there are better ones out there, we bought her some chapstick and a little better "plastic" lipstick to keep in there, we supervise with capstick. The keys and phone are the only things she didnt pay attention to, because we have better ones. SO if you dont have the things that come in this purse, its great, but we did... so I have bought her other purses, that she likes better ... Read more

You don’t have to be Michael Jordan to excel at basketball thanks to this fun and versatile hoops set from the educational-toy experts at LeapFrog. The adjustable backboard and hoop can be set near the ground for very young children or elevated up to 20 inches as kids grow and seek new challenges. Best of all, the backboard lights up and talks to offer encouragement and help teach numbers, letters, and simple spelling. The tray beneath the hoop can be set to catch the two included balls or roll them back to your pintsize Kobe Bryant. This is a great way for little ones to practice their motor skills, learn numbers and letters, and, most importantly, have fun. --John Moe ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great learning toy, taught my 20 month old his alphabet
My son wasn't interested in this toy at first. He received it for his 1st birthday. But a few months later he loved it.He didn't even use the balls, just pressed the button so it would say the letters and numbers. One day he dragged the basketball hoop into the kitchen and repeated every letter and number that was said. We were amazed. My son is now 20 months old and still loves this toy. But most importantly, he can identify and recite in order all of the letters and knows his numbers from 1-12.I highly recommend this and all Leap Frog products.

3-0 out of 5 stars Learning Hoop Basketball
I was dissapointed with the Learning Hoop Basketball. The music is so boring that my 11-month old baby walked away after 3 minutes throwing the ball in the basket. He once in a while passed by the toy, throw the boy and walked away again as the same music came up after his throw. It would be more interested if music has changed after a throw.
Besides, the CAT button doesn't do much good for the kid.Only 4 words are being spelled.

I still want to give a good compliment in the physical quality of the toy.It looks good, sturdy with a cute frog and very strong. I am not worried about my baby will break it if he was a little rough to the toy.

This toy could be better off with more variety of music instead of just one tone all the time. For a while, I feel like it is torturing me with that same music.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nice learning toy.
My son received this toy at 7 months old and really liked it. He will still play with it from time to time and he is now 20 months old. He really perfected saying bye bye with this toy, because it tells the child bye at the end of playing. This toy is not ment to be used as a pull up toy, for those who thought it was unsturdy, they should try a learning table or something. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best toy we've ever had!
My daughter received about a hundred toys for Christmas (ridiculous, I know) and this has been her favorite. It even entertains me!She loves knocking the bugs off and chewing on them.It is very durable and well made, as are all Lamaze toys.I would HIGHLY recommend this toy to anyone!

5-0 out of 5 stars Heaps of Fun!
I purchased the Sing and Spin Bugs toy in October for my 4 month old son. I can't say enough good things about this toy. My son loves to sit and watch the bugs whirl and spin. The best part is that he can knock the bugs off (much to his delight) with just a swipe of his hand. As he grows, he will be able to pick them up and place them at funny angles.

My two year old nephew and my four year old daughter have also loved playing with it. I've had to shoo them away to let the baby have some time with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars best bugs...
The Sing & Spin bugs are great - colorful, music is fun and does not go on for too long. The petals around the edge are crackly so they give another layer to the experience. My son loves this toy - easy to operate and fun. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Good for older kids too!
I bought this toy when my daughter was a year old and she wasn't the least bit interested in it.If I wrote the review then, it would have been a mediorce one at best.I'm glad I waited.Once she was about two and a half, she began taking interest in the toy, pressing all the letters of the alphabet and singing the a-b-c song. She's three and a half now and still enjoys using it.She especially likes the setting with the songs. She presses the letter buttons and sings the words to the tunes she hears.

Some other good things about it:The toy is versatile. It can spin in it's holder, or be taken off and rolled around on the floor. There a few different settings, one that just says the letters, and another that plays tunes that start with that letter. On soft mode, it's a reasonable volume. There's also a band of red light that blinks on and off when a tune plays. It's very durable. It's been played with constantly for over a year and still looks brand new.

Though it's marketed to infants, toddlers would enjoy this toy too.I can't think of anything bad to say about it (except that loud mode is very loud) and would recommend it to parents with young children.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun and educational...
so what more could you want?I put this on my son's booster seat tray in its stand and even at 5 months he loves to spin it.
His grandfather thinks it is the best toy because of the fact that when the individual letters are pressed it says the letter or phonetically sounds them out depending on the mode its in.My son's grandmother found it on clearance for $7.00 and at that price I would say that it was a steal.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good toy for tots!

5-0 out of 5 stars My 10 month old's favorite!
This is my son's favorite toy.He started showing interest in it at about 7 months and now he could play with this toy all day and never gets tired of it!He loves to put the blocks in the slots in the wheel and turn the wheel.I don't know what we would do without it!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Looks better than it really is
This toy is not worth the money. The peek-a-blocks are okay, but my son prefers his wooden blocks for stacking and building. The rotating feature on this wagon is a real problem for little fingers.I can't count the number of times my son has pinched his fingers while spinning the wheel.

5-0 out of 5 stars Lots to do with this one
My daughter was only 6 months old when I got this for her. She immediately became fascinated by the door, opening and shutting it repeatedly. Now that she is 8 months old, she is really into spinning the rolling drum and pulling blocks out of the storage bin. I am certain that she will enjoy all parts of this toy for a long time, especially when she learns to use it as a pull toy. The music is very cute, not annoying. My only suggestion is for Fisher-Price to separately sell the special blocks that are included with this wagon if some of the original blocks get lost. ... Read more

Parents who responded to piano lessons by kicking the instrument mayappreciate this toy as much as a baby will. Two ties hang it from the side ofthe crib, five "keys" on the soft cover conceal five buttons, and colored shapesabove each "key" light up when they are hit or kicked. In one mode, the five"keys" play individually, like piano keys; in another, they play a medley of 10tunes; in a third, they sound out animal names, numbers, and other concepts thatare keyed to the pattern on the cover. The Kick 'n' Learn Piano includes anon/off switch, auto off, and high/low volume control. Requires three AAbatteries. --Richard Farr ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent toy that grows w/ your child
I read a great review about this product in Parents so I had to check it out for myself. My daughter who was 4 months at the time I purchased this, absolutely loves this toy. It has 3 different levels of interaction: music, animal noises, and counting/alphabet. She will wake up in the middle of the night and start kicking away, and if it's turned off - she'll actually get mad that the music doesn't come on! I initially thought the price was a bit high for a "crib toy" but it's worth every penny!!

3-0 out of 5 stars Too Loud!

    5-0 out of 5 stars I have 7 or 8 of them
My daughter loves this doll. It is her constant companion and comfort. She sucks on the hair -- who knows why?But since it's in her mouth constantly, I wash them constantly. They wash and dry very, very well in Woolite in the washing machine. The fabric has had everything imaginable on it, and it always comes completely clean -- except the area around the hair. After a few months, it does start to show drool stains (as another reveiwer noted), but I can't imagine what fabric wouldn't.So you have to replace Dolly every once in awhile, or ignore the stains.Fortunately, they're not terribly expensive, and they're readily available at lots of on-line stores, esp. Amazon.I'm pregnant with my second child, and I can't find any other "lovie"/doll that is a perfect as this one.I wish Eden made this particular doll in a different color!None of their other dolls compare.

5-0 out of 5 stars 3rd and going strong
we are on our third so soft baby girl doll for my daughter, the others got lost. We got the first one for my baby shower from my aunt and my daughter fell in love with it i then tried to get a spare just in case and couldn't find it anywhere and now that i found it i wish there was some kind of automatic shipper thatwould ship every 3-4 months :)

4-0 out of 5 stars Daughter's favorite "baby"
We bought this doll when we found out we were expecting a girl - my sister had one when she was a baby, so I bought it out of complete nostalgia. It is very soft and does not have a rattle inside like many soft dolls do.Because of this, we allowed my daughter to sleep with it at night - the ones with the rattles are so noisy once they learn to roll over, and would wake my daughter up.The only problem I have with this doll is that the material does not clean well --- it can be tossed in the washing machine, but if your baby totes the doll everywhere like my daughter, it can be very hard to get drool stains out.The doll does stay soft with washing though.Just do yourself a favor and buy two so that you can wash them often. ...
