This toy will make you want to take a nap. Equipped with straps that attach it to a crib, this play aquarium and music maker is the perfect thing to amuse a child or soothe them to sleep. There are three settings, depending on what kind of stimulation is needed: music only; music plus soft glowing lights; and music plus lights, bubbles, and moving fish. There are also three music options, the best one offering soft and melodic New Age fare, the other two somewhat odd, spacey versions of familiar lullabies. The music combined with the lights creates an instantly peaceful, soothing ambiance. There are a couple of buttons and doodads for baby to bat around that make the fish react in various ways. If these buttons were a little more responsive, this toy would be near perfect. --David Stoesz ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars BEST PRODUCT OUT THERE!
My daughter cannot resist this!!!We've been working on getting her to sleep better at night, and if she's awake at all when we put her down, this takes care of it!She loves to watch the lights, and she calms down very quickly with this product. It's certainly helped my husband and I get some sleep!:)

    5-0 out of 5 stars Avery's Mom
This product is great. My baby is only six weeks old and has been mezmerized by it for two weeks. A must have for new moms.

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't live without it
Bought this for my son and it is awesome. He is now 21 months and still enjoys playing with it and listening to all the different music it can make. When he was under a year, we would play the "ocean waves" sound to get him to sleep. It worked perfect because it simulates the womb. Now, that he is older, he chooses his own bed time song and knows how to turn it on and off.

The only drawback is that it does not have a remote control. It would have been nice when he was younger and it took longer than 15 miuntes to fall asleep, to be able to push a button from outside of the room to start the music over again. (maybe on the next version)

It does not go through as many batteries as I was expecting. The batteries seem to last a few months.

Overall - I would totally recommend this product and I am going to buy another one for our next son later this year. ... Read more

This is a happy, noisy toy that should amuse most toddlers. Everything that can be touched reacts in some way, from a trombone-playing frog to a book that sings the alphabet. Our favorite is the colored keyboard that sings each color you press. The tabletop can be placed on the floor for those still in the crawling phase, or can sit on the included legs for a sturdy surface and leaning spot for little ones who are new to walking. If there is any fault with the Learning Table, it may be that it has too many features: each element of the table reacts in two different ways, depending on whether it's in Learn Mode or Music Mode. (Modes are switched by flipping the page of the book mounted in the center of the table.) Though this means more fun stuff for kids to hear, the mode concept is not one that they can be expected to understand, and the effect of the toy's inconsistent reactions is likely to be confusion. --David Stoesz ... In the bright, cheerful colors that Sassy has become famous for, this set of miscellaneous playthings and teethers is sure to capture baby's interest and attention. While the eye-catching colors and shapes, are sure to draw baby's eye, the toys in this set also come in a variety of textures and shapes, so that baby can investigate how each one feels in her hand and, inevitably, in her mouth. Soft, flexible rubber parts on many of the toys make them just right for a little playful gnawing when baby is teething, while other toys in the set come with smoother plastic parts that have been rounded off to prevent injury. --Chris Burns ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful
I wasn't sure what toys to buy, since there are so many to choose from. This set of toys were perfect.Since my daughter could first hold a rattle at around 3 months until present she has loved these toys. There is something for every step of the way.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Assortment of Baby Toys
I bought this set before my son was born and couldn't wait to show him all of the bright, colorful toys. When he was a few weeks old, we held the rattles in front of him, and he stared at them in amazement.Eventually he learned to hold and shake them on his own, and then he discovered the other toys.He fell in love with the yellow and purple jingle ball, and he would have lots of fun shaking it and rolling it across the floor. The teethers are nicely textured, and the linking letters are fun to dangle from an activity gym. Also, my son loves the little yellow rubber ducky and the purple octopus.I squirt him with them during bath time, and he laughs and squeals.Of all the toys we now own, many of his favorites are from the original Sassy set. This toy set has been wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to other parents. Not only are the toys designed with bright, high-contrast patterns to please young infants, but also they are varied and durable enough to please older babies. This truly is a great assortment of baby toys.

I received this box of toys as a shower gift for my twins. They are now 7 months old and continue to play with these toys. They both continue to go back to this set, more so then any other toys they have.I will always buy this as a baby gift from now on. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy for baby!!!
I just got this toy for my 9 month old daughter a few days ago and she loves it.There is so much to do so many activities. My daughter gets bored easily so this toy is wonderful. It keeps her busy time and time again.I do have one complaint though Fisher price makes you do all of the work to put together this toy.You don't get out of anything you have to screw on every part you could possibly think of.Some of the things could have been done eaisly during manufacturing. But it was well worth it.This is a great toy! And I think it will entertain her for a long time.

Music stimulates the brain and encourages early learningskills. This interactive cube lets children choose from any combinationof five different instruments--harp, French horn, piano, flute, andviolin--to collaborate on eight Mozart tunes. A solo flute might playan excerpt from "Ah! Vous Dirai-je, Maman (Twinkle, Twinkle)," or aFrench horn intone a theme from The Marriage of Figaro. Otherchoices include "Country Dance #5," "Come Sweet May," "Der Vogelfanger"(from The Magic Flute), "March in D," "Landler," and "LàCi Darem la Mano" (from Don Giovanni). Press the "orchestra"button and hear all the instruments play together. As the songs play, each selected instrument button flashes to the beat. 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy
We received this toy as a gift when my son was about 2 weeks old. Even then he would accidently set it off with his little jerks and spasms (it is extremely sensitive)and he seemed to enjoy it.It is loud, but it never frightened him and he was brand new.By the time he was three months old he was purposefully setting it off and now he's almost two years old and he still loves it.He is more interested in the way he can make only certain instruments play and how the same song sounds different if a different instrument plays by itself. He recently cracked it though, but we have no idea how.(It is made of very durable construction, so I can't imagine what he must have done to it, but then he is very hard on his toys)We just noticed it broken in his room one day. But, after two years of daily play I'd say it gave our family a good run.I have a new son due in four months and I can't imagine not buying this toy again.I highly recommend this toy.

2-0 out of 5 stars Boring toy
My daughter got this for Christmas when she was about 6 mos old.She rarely ever plays with it.She was slightly amused with this toy for a month or two.She never plays with it now. When she did show interest in it, it only lasted a few moments. The music does get a little annoying because my daughter liked it when all instruments would play at the same time.Nothing special about this toy and it's loud.Would not recommend.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fabulous toy
My 6 month old is captivated by this toy. He loves to hear the music and it's easy enough for him to press the various sides. The music and the lights hold his attention. This actually belonged to his now 5 year old sister and it's held up well in the five years we've owned. I highly recommend it. ... Read more

We bought this when our daughter was 3 months old. Either She couldn't reach the toys or they were smacking her in the face. She couldnt make the music come on and she had no interest in any of the toys. She may like it when she can crawl and it turns into a tunnel but as a baby playmat its not worth it

2-0 out of 5 stars Cheap and no fun!
I was not impressed at all with this toy.It looks cheap, first of all, and was not entertaining at all for my daughter, who is now 8 months and has had it since birth. The two teething toys were cheap and looked like something you'd get in a happy meal. The ball was fine, but the only toy really worth the money is the octopus, and it hangs too high up to be any fun-- my daughter couldn't reach it until she could sit up alone, and by then she wasn't interested anymore.I wound up buying a Gymini, and then removing the octopus from this toy and putting it on the Gymini. There are far better playgyms-- don't waste your money.

2-0 out of 5 stars Difficult to push buttons, turns off quickly
My 10-month old daughter always smiles when I bring out Baby Tad, but in my opinion the toy is not very well designed for babies. The buttons, embedded in fabric, are really hard for her to push. After a few seconds of not having any buttons pushed, Baby Tad turns off automatically, bringing a quick end to playtime unless I'm sitting there with her pushing the buttons. Could have been a great toy, but I think they missed the boat.

I gave my granddaughter this toy on her first birthday, hoping it was not too young for her Every time I have seen her, she has been playing with it.She is 22 months and this time she started singing songs from it (unbeknownst to me). When I started singing with her, she brought it over and we sang every song together. What a perfect toy - colors, shapes, songs!

5-0 out of 5 stars So much fun!
We actually purchased this product through the One Step Ahead catalog... same sand and water table, but different color and ours came with a plastic tarp for underneath the table. My husband put it together this morning, and we took our 16 month old son outside on our deck and used it immedately! He absolutely loves it! He had the best time splashing the water, using the toys and playing with the sand. I would highly recommend this product. The assembly took less than 5 minutes... and it seems very sturdy. The cover is also very convenient and seems to stay put. I know my son will enjoy it for months to come. Just buy it!

1-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
I purchased this item because of all the good reviews and was very disappointed in it's performance. The table constantly leaked rain water into the sand and there was nothing I could do to stop it.The manufacturer also declined to assist me with a fix for this problem. The store offered to replace the item with a receipt, that of cource, was discarded after the first few weeks. Not a happy purchase, but my grandchildren did enjoy playing in the mud.

After a very disappointing experience with the Little Tikes Sand and Water Table, I purchased this one for my daughter.Wow!What a difference! The table was SO easy to assemble!I LOVE the cover -- it has elastic for a snug fit.We had a pretty heavy rain storm yesterday; the cover didn't blow off, and the sand stayed very dry.We look forward to many days of sandy, splashy fun with this table! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Wow! My daughter loves her ABC's!
My daughter received this as a gift when she was too young (24 months old) for it.I held it off to the side for 6 months & then finally decided to give it to her right before she started preschool.

She loves to sing her ABC's now.The Fridge Phonics set reinforces the letter she is learning in school. We bought her a carry case for the letters & fridge magnet. She will carry it around & change the letter whenever she's in the mood.

I think this is one of the best educational toys out there for the alphabet. It tells the child the name of the letter, the sound(s) it makes & a few words.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great learning toy
We have had this on our fridge for about 5 weeks now and my grandson loves to play with it, he now says the sounds before the little machine tells you the sound.

It is made very sturdy as my grandson has already had the peices thrown all over the place and the little machine too and there is no sign of any hard play with it, it still looks brand new.

    Editorial Review

Toys that grow with your child from infancy to toddlerhood are well worth their cost. The Classical Chorus Gym is one such toy, allowing your child to explore music at every stage of his development. As an infant, your child can lay on his back and bat at the hanging toys while the keyboard plays 10 different classical or nursery melodies, some with a children’s chorus. You can set the music to play continuously for up to 10 minutes, or only when your child successfully hits a toy, teaching him cause and effect. When your child learns to sit, the keyboard adjusts with him to the proper height, and then adjusts one more times to accommodate a standing or walking child. At these stages, you can set the music to play part of a song when your child presses a key or let your child experiment with scales and individual notes. The keyboard’s "singing" stars light up as music plays to further delight budding musicians. The Classical Chorus Gym requires three "C" batteries for operation. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for all ages!
I love this toy!Someone bought it for us when our baby was born. She's been using it since she was about 2 months old and had enough control of her arms and legs to bat at the toys that hang down. She is now 6 months and sitting up so I converted it so the sitting stage and she still plays with it all the time. When she was learning to sit up it was great too because she would keep her balance by hanging onto the keys and "playing" music. My nephew is 18 months and he still plays with his everyday. This is the only toy that has consistently captured her attention and she will play with this toy for at least 20 minutes at a time.

4-0 out of 5 stars could be better designed
My main problem with this toy is it confuses my four month old.He hits a key, and a star above the key lights up.So he hits the star, and nothing happens. It's a small thing, but this toy would be so much better if either the keys lit up, or if he could hit the star and have it make a noise too.
I love how easy it is to set this up.The legs come off and on very quickly. My son can't sit up on his own yet, so I take the legs off the keyboard, prop him up against me, and have him play. And I really like the large variety of music.I think this is a pretty good toy, and definitely worth $30.

5-0 out of 5 stars Must have!!!!
I love love love this toy!!! My daughter had used it from the day she was born. Now she uses it to pull up and stand. She has never once tipped over when trying. 5-0 out of 5 stars Sagging Center
I haven't read all 42 reviews so this may be a repeat. We have found it necessary to shore up the middle of this wonderfully entertaining toy. We've had it on our patio since early spring of 2004 and it has had a lot of use but the center started to sag.We found a large flower pot that measured the exact height and just pushed it under the center.Works like a charm and we should get many more years of fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars We Love this !!!
I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old son and he loves it . Actually we all love it ! My 10 , 8 and 5 and 3 year olds had more fun with this than I think anything we have ever bought . This is much better than a typical sandbox which they love but can't all play in at the same time. All four of my kids pulled up a chair around the table and had a blast and plenty of room !They played for at least 2 hours and didn't even want to come in then . It was a bit messy but what can you expect . Anything can be put in here to spark imagination .You don't have to just use sand and water .The possibilities are endless ! This is going to be a life saver this summer . This was money well spent . I would recommend this to anyone .
It was easy to put together and I feel the legs were very sturdy . I didn't even put the screws in it because I like the idea of being able to take them out to store it over the winter unless we bring it in for the winter.I just made sure I pushed them all the way in. Ialready cleaned it out and tipped it over to rinse it and had no trouble with the legs coming loose or out or anything . I am saving the screws just in case I need them later !
This is an awseome , awesome table !! We love it !!! ... Read more

If you grew up with a Radio Flyer wagon but lost it along the way, here's your chance to own abrand new one. The body and sides are made of finished wood. Painted bright red, the stake sides simplylift out, leaving you with a natural-finish flatbed. Steel wheels with big, inflatable pneumatic tires rolleasily on pavement or rough terrain. At 33.5 inches, the extra-long handle makes turning easy. The wagonbed is 36 inches long, 15 inches wide, 9 inches high, and 21 inches from the ground to the top of thewagon. The durable-tread rubber tires are 10.5 inches in diameter and 3 inches wide. If you're lucky, yourchild might let you borrow this wonderful wagon. --Louise Carter ... Read more

I only had the wagon a month and all the stain and paint started to chip off. It is a durable wagon, but was not happy with chipping.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best buy for 2 kids close in age!!
My mom bought this as a present for my then four year old daughter, but I began using it for her younger brothers aged NB and 18 months and bought her a smaller version to haul her dolls. It fit an infant car seat and toddler perfect, is versitable enough to last and on long outings allowed the older room to move unlike a tandum stroller. That was ten years ago. Now I've started a "second family" with a large 21month old son and another son due in 5 weeks. This item was a natural choice, due to my childs size (32pounds). Most tandum strollers allow only 40pounds per seat, so he would quickly out-grow it. With the wagon he can be in it longer and when both boys outgrow it they can use it to haul all their treasures. It also lasts almost forever (we lost our last one in a fire a year and a half ago after having it for 8 years). It was a little weathered but still sturdy (we did have to replace two brackets on one side due to stunt riding!). I can enthusiasticly say this was the best child purchase I've ever made!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars Great Design, Very Poor Materials and Paint
Hard to believe we are all reviewing the same wagon. While the design is very good, the materials and finish are awful. The wood used in its contruction is too thin - a piece on the bottom was cracked out of the box. The side panels feel as if they are made from balsa wood - I am concerned they will not hold up over time. Two of the panels are also very loose in their mounting brackets. The paint shows drip marks, missing spots, and globs on both the red panels and black metal. The red paint rubs off on our child's hands and clothes. I could have done a better job with a can of spray paint. I am seriously thinking of using the metal hardware as a base for a wagon that I build out of more substantial materials. We also have the Radio Flyer Walker Wagon and the materials and finish on that one are much better. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

With a little help from a bigger friend (parent, guardian…), young children can launch into the world of learning via interactive books. Little Touch LeapPad is designed for tots 6 to 36 months, with three distinct levels of activities and stories: musical rhythms and sounds; short descriptive phrases; and rhymes and early learning. Stories or activity cards snap into the book frame, along with a story cartridge. Grownups will need to help little ones activate the book pages by touching the "Go" button every time a page is turned, as well as showing young "readers" how to touch pictures to make them come to life with developmentally appropriate narration and learning activities. A comfy cushion is attached to the LeapPad platform for cozy shared reading time. Four AA batteries required (not included). --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Frustrating, poorly made, but a good idea
I wish this Leap Pad had lived up to its potential! I was so excited when it came out just in time for my 3rd child. My older two had greatly enjoyed Leappad products, and I was eager to start my youngest on them too.I bought the Little Touch and 3 book sets right away.My daughter was too young at first to try them.I first gave it a try when she was 6 months, and she had no interest. So I tried again at 9 months. This time she was VERY interested, but it was a totally frustrating time for her.She caught on right away she needed to touch the pages, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't touch hard enough. She broke into tears after a short time.I tried touching for her, but she has little interest in books unless she can hold and mouth them. She tried holding the pages, and badly wrinkled several of them. It's not really a fun learning experience when you are constantly saying "no"!

I do like the whole idea of this product, and I think that if they overcame some of the engineering problems, it would be quite nice.I like the different levels, so that you can just hear music, or hear simple phrases, or hear the whole book. The activity cards included with each book also seem a bit more heavy duty than the regular books, but they too greatly frustrated us in terms of being touchable!

I also question including Where the Wild Things Are as one of the books.I love the book, and my sons do too, but it's NOT a baby book---it's probably fine for 3 and up, but not really something a baby would relate to.I think it's a choice to draw in parents, not babies.

I might try the similar Fisher-Price product if I can find it for a low price.Sorry, Leap Pad!

2-0 out of 5 stars Also disappointed
My twin daughters got this product for their 1st birthday. We have tried to use it several times, but my daughters are more interested in playing with the on/off button and the volume button placed right on the front of the base than they are in listening and looking at the book.It would have been smarter for LeapFrog to have placed these buttons on the back or on the side where they would have been out of eye sight of little ones.I also agree that the touch pad isn't sensitive enough for little ones to push. It's a pain for even ME to get the different spots in the book to activate. However, I haven't had the troubles others have had with the pages ripping. They are made of a paper-type material, but have proven to be very durable. My daughters drag the leap pad around the house by the pages of the books and still haven't had one tear.BUT . . . the pages are very wrinkled making it hard to see the images and also causing the pages to no longer lay flat.My girls are now almost two and still don't care for the leap pad.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not what it appears to be
I was highly disappointed with this. We bought this for my son at Christmas (16 months old then) thinking it would be a great educational toy for him to play with when I couldn't be sitting down with him (like when I'm cooking). We were terribly wrong! We have 2 friends who also bought this and are just as disappointed.

This is not a toy you can give a child and walk away. First, it's complicated to use for a toddler. Every time you turn a page, you must hit the green go button. RIGHT! Second, the books are made of paper and are pretty flimsy. Plus they are rather pricey for the cheap quality. Third, the setting that reads the story is so slow, my impatient toddler never lets me wait to turn the pages before the story is ready. Finally, I'm not pleased with the educational value of the books for the cost. I can buy books on shapes, color, numbers, etc myself and sit and go through the books with my son and he gets a lot more out of it.

Overall, I should have taken this (and the 5 books we bought) back and bought something else. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars What a life saver!
We bought this for our son when he was 3 months old because we were having trouble putting him to sleep in his crib at night. He loved it! We would do our nightly routine of reading a book, and then I would turn this on, lay him down and he would watch it until he drifted off to sleep. He's now 6 months old, and he still loves it.

5-0 out of 5 stars a goodnight sleep
I have to say that not only does my baby love this but the whole family does too. We will get ready for bed and turn the lights off and turn on the sounds and light projector and have our nightly dancing session with baby and my two older kids before laying him down. once baby is down my self, hubby and my girls would lay in bed looking at the adorable pictures move across the ceiling. It's a nice way of even getting our two older kids to clam down as well. a little dance, lay on bed and watch the lights and kids are off to their beds calm and soothed.

    5-0 out of 5 stars A LIFESAVER!
My 3 month old daughter is addicted to this.It is a lifesaver when I can't get her to take a nap.She actually thrusts her head back to look at the ceiling the minute we walk into her bedroom because she's looking for the birdies!Well worth the money. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Broke within 1 week
I bought this toy for my son.The toy broke within 1 week. The pond sticks and keeps saying the same thing over and over again, the blocks, when put into place, sing the same song, one short verse, over and over again.Unfortunately, the little birds get stuck saying the same things as well.It wasn't worth the money for us.My son does like the shapes though.Hope this is helpful as a lot of reviews have been for me.Thanks.

5-0 out of 5 stars Another toy my baby loves
My daughter received this when she was 7 and a half months old, and still plays with it every day at over a year old. She lves the bee that circles around- I hear "bzzzzzzz...bzzzzzz...bzzzzzzz" quite often! She also loves to "splash" and hear the numbers (you press the "water" and the toy counts up to ten, one number at a time, each time you press it)....she also loves pressing the birds and hearing the baby and mommy bird talk to each other- they each say 3 phrases. You can also switch from learning mode to music mode.

My baby plays with this toy a lot and the batteries seem to last a long time for all that she plays with it, I'm not replacing batteries all that often. She likes this toy better than some other ones that are bigger and do more amazing things.

It seems like at over a year old, she is going to continue to play with this toy for awhile, so that gets the Seal of Approval from me, like I always say, read my other reviews, I have a Big Thing about getting my money's worth out of toys, and skipping over toys that will lose baby's interest in a short period of time. I like that my baby has played with this toy every day for 5 months and still loving it. For example, she played with her Dancing Bandstand for about a week before she got bored with it, and never goes to it any more.

5-0 out of 5 stars Toy with lasting value!
I got this toy when my baby could sit up and boy, did she love it! She smacked that water so many times, she couldn't get enough it. She liked to pull out the "flowers" and bite them, bang them together, throw them, you name it.

She then learned to walk shortly after buying it and I thought the toy would get no more use. But now she has learned to put the shapes back into the holes and loves to dance to the music.

It is also so sturdy, she sometimes picks it up and walks with it. And we've only changed the batteries once in 5 months. LOVE IT! ... Read more

Over 10 feet long from end to end--with portholes, doors, ladders, slides, nooks, and crannies galore--this molded-plasticplayground promises years, if not decades, of entertainment before allof its possibilities can be exhausted. A 2-foot-long climb-throughtunnel connects two separate, open-topped towers (one is 4.5 feet tall, the other 5.5). The shorter tower has a swinging door and windows, thelarger one has two separate levels and two smooth-plastic slides (one is 3feet long, the other 4). It's the perfect investment for bigger andsmaller kids to play with together. But best of all, the playground canbe disassembled and rebuilt into eight different configurationswhenever the current setup loses its charm. With Little Tikes' typicalrock-solid, kid-friendly construction, you can bet this sturdyplayground will be around long enough for that to happen.--Paul Hughes ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Note for Husbands
OK, here is a review from a guy who bought this thing for his daughter and nephew, and I think I ought to just make a quick comment to those husbands out there looking at this.On a side note, the one they sent me is not nearly as colorful as the picture in Amazon.com, no hot pinks or anything like that, mostly blue, dark green and tan.Fine, but not the color explosion it appeared to be.As far as assembly - crud.Give yourself 2 hours, have a hammer or rubber mallet and you would be best off with at least two good sized friends. This thing is just hollow injection-molded plastic pieces and the parts barely fit together. You basically need to press and bend the plastic pieces into one another while forcing them together to make the thing work. That seems to be what then keeps the thing "durable". I ended up having to literally stand on and jump up and down on some of the pieces to get them to fit into one another.Even then, one or two minor parts just do not fit tightly. On a pain in the butt scale, I give it a 7.5, maybe an 8.Be warned.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not in wasp/yellow jacket territory!
We got one of these when we bought our new home.It came with the house. We love it as do my boys (4 and 16 months) but unfortunately, the wasps love it too.The bright colours attract them and the gaps left where the pieces join together are apparently considered prime real estate for wasps to build their nests.I'm allergic to bees so I am in fear whenever we go in our backyard.I do a walk-around the structure every day, but between morning and nap there have been industrious wasps and so we can't play outside till my husband comes home and gets the nest down and sprays the living daylights out of the wasps or whatever these nasty things are.We are looking into getting either a metal structure or a wooden one...something not as bright and cheerful looking and something without all those little holes.

4-0 out of 5 stars Adjustable, but not easy to adjust
For the most part, it was easy to assemble though there are quality control issues with some of the plastic seams.I had to shave off some of the xtra plastic on two of the panels connecting 'locks' when they snap together. But most of it was pretty to assemble withone person. DO follow the directions when it comes to attaching the'tunnel' because it is a VERY tight fit, for safety reasons. The reconfiguring of the slides is very easy to unmount, but the 'tunnel' is a different story, you pretty much have to disassemble the panel from one of the towers to get it off.One other thing that that you can do with this playground is that you can just keep it separate, it is very stable, and have 2 towers and one slide on each one without the tunnel attached in which they could have marketed it as a 10-in-1.I actually had only one of the towers assembled with the slide attached in the livingroom for my 2-yrs daughter to play with since it rained all weekend and we couldn't set it up outside. ... This toy is worth it's weight in gold!

My daughter got it for her first birthday and she's in love.It doesn't stop there...
I run a family child care and no one can keep their hands off of this toy.I have kids from 12 months to almost 5 and they all get a kick out of this toy.
The smallest ones learn about animals and their sounds, the older ones love to make silly combinations with the animals. The music is cute and gets everyone shaking their bottoms.

Everyone with young kids would love this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good learning fun 4 the kiddies !
Both of my kids love this toy my 4yr old and my one year old play with it all the time it can give me a little time to get something done in the kitchen while my little ones play and learn at the same time the songs are cute and not too loud the only problem I have is that the one year old always pulls the magnets on to the floor and I have to pick them up but thats with all of the toys they have nothing new just one of moms jobs :). I will be getting this toy as a gift for other kids I know . Really cool toy!

5-0 out of 5 stars Another leapfrog success
I bought the fridge farm magnetic animal set for my twins at 15 months. They loved it then and still love it now at 24 months. It teaches the animals, their sounds, and colors. And the big bonus is that "farmer Tad" plays several children's songs on his banjo about animals and farms with a country theme. I am a big proponent of learning through song - my boys now sometimes sing along to farmer tad's banjo, and they know all the animals, their sounds, and colors. 5-0 out of 5 stars awesome!!!
I would not have thought much of the item based on packaging but we received this as a gift and it is my 2 1/2-year old's favorite. She loves the thing. It is now one of our favorite gifts to give. I have not heard of any problems and all the parts are sturdy. It is very cute to see how every little girl 'knows' to sling it over her wrist (I don't carry my purse that way..) Although, we are as likely to find trains and matchbox cars inside as we are to find the lipstick. Definately a great little item!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent!
My daughter got this purse for Christmas last year when she was 18 months old. She is still playing with it all of the time! She loves to take her purse everywhere, just like mommy does! :) She is so proud of her purse that she is constantly showing it to people. Her favorite things out of the purse are the lipstick, keys, and card case. She loves to put her own items in the purse as well. This is a very cute set!

4-0 out of 5 stars Cute, very cute
I wanted to get my only little girl her own purse, so she could be like mommy... I have 4 children, 3 year old b/g twins, and 8 month old b/b twins. she got this purse when she was 18 months and she has some new "favorites", but this was a hit anyways. She loves the lipstick, and the sunglasses case (we bought her disney ones) and the mirror. But there are better ones out there, we bought her some chapstick and a little better "plastic" lipstick to keep in there, we supervise with capstick. The keys and phone are the only things she didnt pay attention to, because we have better ones. SO if you dont have the things that come in this purse, its great, but we did... so I have bought her other purses, that she likes better ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy!!
I got this for my daughter when she was 2 and she loved it!! She played with it for a whole year before getting tired of it, but she had outgrown it by the time she was 3. It helped her learn her colors, and animals and the sounds that they make.
I also loved the songs it played....and she enjoyed all the questions......it really makes them think and challenges them, going on to harder ones after a bit.I highly recommend this!

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun and educational--a winner!
We gave this to our daughter when she was 12.5 months old and she has been intrigued with it since day one! She now is 17 months old and plays with it every day.

    What we love
*lots of animals--a huge help in teaching her the names of animals
*fun accessories like the windmill and scarecrow
*pieces to add on to the outside for when she gets older (right now we store those seperately)

    What we don't like
*no silo (like when we were kids!) to store extra pieces in
*the music is LOUD and there is no volume control

Overall this is another great Little People product and we are happy with our purchase.
