Lite Brite has certainly evolved since its introduction in 1968. This Illumin-Art Easel version still offers the traditional pegboard and pegs to create cool illuminated pictures and designs. However, the Lite Brite screen is now more than twice the size of the original and packs new technological advances, such as six different modes of animation for pictures and the ability to flash lights behind creations. The screen flips over and becomes a light-up easel where kids can trace and color pictures to adapt to peg designs. Where are the refillls?!
STOP! Before you consider buying this product, consider how your child will feel after playing with it for hours only to find out there are no refills for the peg and coloring sheets.Disappointed?You bet!Terrible planning on Hasbro's part.What a scam to sell a product this has a life span of roughly 4 hours.

Fun but limited
My two girls (aged 5 and 3) love the easel, but they've already gone through all of the peg sheets.We've found the refills for the regular-sized Lite Brites, but I can't find refill sheets for the easel anywhere (it's a good bit larger), so that's a bit disappointing. [...]

Anyway, my girls haven't had the problems with unsteadiness that others hav mentioned, but I can see how it could be an issue.It's interesting that the easel can be positioned either in a "desk mode" or "display mode", and it may be more steady to insert the pegs when it's in "desk mode".

very dissapointed
They toy is great fun but BEWARE it is wobbly on its legs so you must be careful around siblings that may be younger. And the worst part is this is the first lite brite outside of the travel one that runs on batteries alone!!!!! and it takes 6 D batteries. It eats throught them very quickly and makes it very difficult to keep up with. BEWARE OF THIS TOY UNTIL THEY ADD AN ADAPTER PLUG AND STRONGER LEGS!!!!!!! ... Read more

Easy Bubble Fun
My son got this bubble light for his third birthday. A year later he is still playing with it - with no broken parts. After I showed him how to dip the wand into the bubble reservior he could easily do it by himself and will play for long periods of time making bubbles. The wand does drip but since we use it only for outdoors it's no problem. The light and motor made the toy useful during the winter, my son would play with it in his dark closet or do other pretend activities with it. Every child who comes to our house is attracted to this toy and wants to play with it. We love it!

Not the Greatest!
I bought this bubble blower on a whim & wish I had kept my money.My 2-year-old daughter loves any kind of bubbles & discovered how to work it, but it's a big hassle to have to keep dipping the wand into the smallest reservoir ever.I do like the fact that it light up & glows in the dark.It also works well after you get it started, just be prepared for endless dipping.

Don't Waste Your MONEY
I bought this for my son when he was 2.I thought he would like the light and the blower.It is cheaply made.The bubble attachement falls off easily.The blower is not strong enough to blow bubbles.And the light is so dim it does not even light up anything.Do not waste your money on this poorly made toy. ... Free is too much to pay for this
This is a piece of hud.My daughter loves to write on our wipe-off board on the fridge so we thought this would be fun.We bought it at Target on clearance for $5 and that was too much to pay for this.The material that is drawn on is cardboard with some special coating on it and the black light that's supposed to make the drawings glow is not so hot.The $5 we paid for this was a complete waste of money! ... This super deluxe modeling clay set certainly comes with a lot of stuff, however, we though that some of it wasn't that well thought out, and a little bit hard to use. The best thing about the set is the six tubs of clay that come in rich colors: dark blue, light blue, pink, green, red, and yellow. The tubs have "can't lose" lids attached, which is a nice touch, but we quickly found that those attached lids kept getting in the way when we were trying to get the dough back in the tubs. There is an extruder with four shape disks that make three shapes each; the shape disks fit nicely in the extruder, but the hole where you put the dough in was very small and partially blocked by the plunger, making it very hard to get the dough in. There is a hair salon extruder with two bodies you can press dough hair through, we had to put all our adult weight on the bodies to get a little bit of dough hair out, and then had a hard time getting the dough back out of the holes. A dough roller and a stamper provide lots of shapes to press into flattened dough, and there are two animal molds for making 3-D figures. There is a little walking wind-up motor that is supposed to make the 3-D figures walk, if you mold the dough around it, but we had a hard time getting that to work. The thing we liked best about this set was a nifty all-in-one fun tool, kind of like a Swiss Army Knife, with brightly colored tools for cutting dough and a clip to hang it on a belt. OK, but not the best...
My almost 3-year old was very excited to open this gift.That changed when only an adult's strength can get the hair to "grow" on the heads.Granted, it is cute, BUT also impossible to clean, let alone a young child to play with as designed. There are many hair holes that require a toothpick to poke out the play-dough. I will be hiding those...it's not worth my time/energy to clean them.The stamps are wonderful and easy to use.The play-mat is small and designed for table-top use, not the floor.The multi-purpose tool is neat, but kinda overdone and difficult for a younger child, but may be appropriate later. ...
