5-0 out of 5 stars first time mom and love my sling
this is an awesome sling. i just got it in the mail, and it is wonderful! my baby is sleeping in it right now as we speak. its so comfortable on my back compared to the infantino carrier i have. the straps hurt on that one.. like a backpack. this one, the straps are wide and made of cotton so its great! i work as a CNA and so far my back is holding up well. that was a very important feature when buying this sling. the only thing im not too sure about yet is how to make my sons head comfortable in the infant craddle hold, but i havent watched the video yet, other than that, this sling gets 5 stars with me!

5-0 out of 5 stars No backache with this sling!
By the time my baby was born, I had three sling-type carriers for her: a Snugli front carrier, a New Native sling (the one Cindy Crawford raved about) and this one. When my baby was about 2-3 weeks old, I tried her in the New Native, but she hated it.She kept slipping so far down in the pouch that the fabric fell over her face, and she just didn't like being in a laying-down position at all.Next, I tried the Snugli. My baby liked being upright, but the straps of the Snugli cut into my shoulders, and every time my baby fell asleep, her head fell over her shoulder at a 90-degree angle.I finally tried the UBW, and fell in LOVE!

First let me say I waited so long to try the wrap because I was intimidated.I watched the video many times and practiced using the wrap with stuffed animals and dolls, but I didn't feel secure enough to try carrying an actual baby in it.Finally, I met another woman who had an UBW and, after talking with her, I got up the courage to try putting my daughter in it.Well, it worked like a dream.I used the tummy-to-tummy carry (the first carry shown on the video) and it was perfect. My daughter could sit upright facing me (her favorite position) but the wrap provided enough head support that even when she fell sound asleep her head didn't tilt over at all.(I just made sure to pull the wrap up high over her shoulders and the back of her neck.)Because the wrap is made of soft t-shirt material, it didn't dig into my shoulders at all.In fact, you can adjust the width of the material across the shoulders to make it as wide or as narrow as is comfortable for you.Plus, you wind up carrying your baby much closer to your body in an UBW than in a Snugli-type front carrier, so I found that my back didn't start aching the way it did when using the Snugli. Finally, the UBW is VERY portable - it even comes with a little drawstring bag with shoulder straps to carry it in.

I found that the secret to successfully using the UBW was to tie it tightly enough but not *too* tightly.Figuring out the wrapping method itself wasn't too hard - after a few practice sessions I could do it easily, and the video was very helpful for that - but getting the right tension was a bit tricky. The fabric is quite stretchy, so if I left the tension too loose I would be afraid that my baby would fall out.As a result, at first I found I tied the wrap too tightly, and I felt my baby was uncomfortable (being squeezed too tightly against me or in the leg area). With a little practice, though, I got the right tension for my baby and me, and now I couldn't be happier with the UBW.To make it easier to use several times in one day, I often tie it on once and keep it on even if my baby is out - that way I'm all set to pop her back in at the first sign of her getting fussy.

Bottom line: while the UBW isn't as simple to use at first as many of the other carriers on the market, I think once you get the hang of it it outperforms any other I've found.

5-0 out of 5 stars Greatest Carrier on the Market
I just had my 3rd baby and someone gave this carrier at my shower. At first, I was thinking that I would return it because I already have 3 other carriers that I used with my older two... that being said, I always complained about how much the others hurt my shoulders, neck and back. I read some reviews about this wrap and decided to give it a try. I have to admit that when I opened it up I almost put it away before even trying it. It looked a little weird and I wasn't quite sure it was worth all the fuss. I stuck in the video and watched it for 2 minutes and decided to try it. It took me about 5 minutes the first time to figure out how to make it comfortable for me and my daughter but after a little fiddling I put my daughter inside. I walked around and tried it out... checking out it would feel... LITERALLY, within seconds my daughter was asleep. I realized that this gave her a cocooned "womb-like" feeling and she was so happy and relaxed. The next day I put it on to go for a walk with my family and again, she was asleep in minutes. I walked for about an hour and when I got home, realized that I wasn't in ANY PAIN at all. The carrier didn't pull on my shoulders at ALL!!!! I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, just for fun put my 18 month old inside also and he loves it as much as the baby!!!! I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS CARRIER!!! Oh yeah, after the 2nd day I was able to whip this carrier on in about 30 seconds flat. It's way easier than any of the others... it just looks a little intimidating, but if you try it on it's AMAZING!!! ... Read more

Editorial Review

There's lots to see, hear, and do with this toy that willfoster the developmental skills of a toddler. When little ones push oneof the five plastic balls through the hole at the top of this tower, lights flash and music plays. From there the ball travels down a spiralpath all the way to the bottom--unless your toddler chooses to redirectit with the dial on the side of the ramp. Some babies will simply enjoywatching the ball swirl down the ramp. But as babies get a bitolder, they will also be able to observe and anticipate the actionof the balls and realize that their actions have an effect onwhere the balls go. How cool is that? For a toddler, very cool! Onedrawback to this toy is that it probably isn't sturdy enough or heavyenough for babies or toddlers to use it to pull themselves from asitting to a standing position, though the "Pull-up" portion of thename implies that's possible. There's plenty more to do with this toy,so that is only a minor consideration. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Mixed feelings about this toy.
My son loved this toy from the time he had it.He got it for his first birthday, and he is now 3 & 1/2 and still looks for this toy to play with.My problem with it, is that the top red ring never stays on.It's constantly falling off, and I am so sick and tired of putting it back together every five minutes!I finally hid it in the basement, even though my son loves it so much.I have twin infants at home and just do not have the time to keep putting this back together!I do think it would easily tip over on a child using it to "pull up".Although, my son was already walking by the time he got this toy, and so he didn't use it in that fashion.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun toy for baby
I thought this was great toy for my twin girls. It is interactive and it holds their attention for quite awhile. My only "beef"with this toy is that it can be prone to tipping over. My girls haven't had any spills as of yet (knock on wood) but I can see where there is potential for a few. I think this toy will be a favorite for awhile with them and if anything the plastic balls that come with it are certainly entertaining for them.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent for Soon to be Toddlers!!
I got this for my son because he was not walking as he should (He didn't walk til 18 months). This was an amazing toy to encourage him to start standing and keeping his balance as he put the balls in the top. I know they do not market it as something to help kids stand but it is made very well and is durable enough to handle new toddlers. It is fun and kids of all age have loved it at my home. The music makes it exciting. Great buy!! ... Read more

Editorial Review

The manufacturer’s motto for this car booster seat is: "First class travel for children". That’s because the seat is designed to ensure safety, comfort, and style for the many rides ahead. The durable, sateen and faux velvet fabric is soft and attractive, but the seat is also ergonomically shaped with EPS foam to provide full body support and comfort for kids weighing between approximately 30 and 100 pounds, or measuring between 36 and 60-inches long. Other details include side-impact protection, adjustable height settings, and belt guides for a good fit during every outing. --Diane Beall ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Response to safe Mom/and Happy Mom
I didn't read Safe Mom's review, but I bet I have the same problem. It does wobble, and move a bit more than I would like. And Yes, I am using BOTH lap and shoulder belt.I just wish it would not rock back and forth so much.By the way, even when it rocks, my child is held in tightly by the belts. It is just the actual booster chair moving.Maybe in an "accident", the inertia belts would tighten up.It is extremely comfortable.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great booster seat
This booster seat is exactly what I was searching for in a booster. My daughter was constantly falling asleep and slumping over in her other booster seat. She would slump so far over that she would no longer be held in by the seat belt. This is the only seat that I could find that has side support for her head when she falls asleep. It also has a seat belt guide that really keeps the seat belt over her shoulder at all times. She is more comfortable and much safer in her new Parkway Express Booster Seat, especially when she falls asleep.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Booster Seat
I just bought this booster seat for my daughter who just turned 3 years old.We orginally bought the Evenflo Traditions booster seat and returned it the very next day. I did research before I purchased another booster seat and Britax is suppose to be the safest booster seat made. My daughter loves the seat. She says it is comfy on her neck.I would recommend this seat. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great for the Price
I have used this seat for my daughter since the day I brought her home from the hospital, and overall have been very happy with it.

It's not easy to install, but my parents have a much fancier car seat in their minivan, and it's no better.I think in general, it's just tough to install car seats that use LATCH.And at least you know it's secure! It's also very tough to reach the lever to adjust the straps when it's rear-facing, but if your hands are small, you should be able to manage (it's also easier when baby's not actually IN the seat).

Other than that, though, it's a pretty good seat. It's very well-padded and soft, figuring out how to adjust the straps is easy, and it's not too bulky.I read one review that said it was too large for a sedan, but I drive a Honda Civic and it fits great.

Even though it's not perfect, I definitely wouldn't waste my money on a more expensive one.

1-0 out of 5 stars hate this seat
We bought this seat because it looked more comfortable than some of the other car seats in this price range.First of all the straps are terrible. They are always uneven no matter how often we fix it, it goes right back every car ride. To fix it you have to pull the seat out. Its also too big to fit rear facing in a regular sedan, we could only put it comfortably in our van. The straps are also nearly impossible to adjust while rear facing. I know on most car seats they only need to be adjusted occassionly, on this car seat It seems like I am always trying to fix something. Don't waste your money on this one.

1-0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS CAR SEAT IF YOU HAVE A SUV OR VAN!!
I bought this car seat because I was needing 3 of them and was trying to save some money.I spent hours trying to get it properly installed in a Trailblazer and a Van without sucess. The car seat kept moving because of the angles in the base and I never could get it to recline enough for my large 4 month old. Also it was hard to tighten and release the straps. The car seats went back and were exchanged for the Evenflow Triumph. The $20 you save is not worth the trouble!!! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The VERY BEST infant carseat!!!!!
This seat is absolutely wonderful. We had twins which were premature and had low birthweights. Before we left the hospital a carseat test was performed and these seats passed. Also, the latch-loc is so nice. All you do is set the seat on the base and it locks in place. At first the handle would not easily go down however, if you push both buttons completely in you shouldn't have a problem. Also, the triangle at the top of the handle is very useful when walking. We checked all the seats out and this one is the only one that measured up.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Seat and Stroller is ok.
We just had our first child. This Baby Trend infant seat is a good fit for our little one.It also scored quite high for highway safety.....right up there with it's much more expensive counterpart by Peg Perego. The 2005 model that we bought has the Flex Loc system which is a modification of the Latch Loc.Baby Trend effectively fixed the issue with the ridged Latch Loc system.Flex Loc gives you the ability to latch into any car with the latch system without issue.I would recommend the infant seat.Hopefully, BabiesRus now carries the extra bases separately. We ordered a second base for around $30 from Baby Trend directly. If you need to use the seat in more than one vehicle, a second base is a must!I would have liked to have chosen a different stroller now that we have used it.BabiesRus only sells the Baby Trend infant seats in the travel pack including the stroller. The stroller is lightweight but the front tray does hit the ground when opening and closing it.Most people (women like myself) are not strong enough to avoid hitting the tray on the ground when opening and closing the stroller.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great head support and easy to carry
We bought this carrier seat because it has the adjustable head support, very few other seats offered this feature. Our daughter had neck muscle weakness and this seat helped stablize her and grew with her. The height and weight limits are much higher than other seats, which I appreciate, because she is very tall for her age.
It is a very sturdy seat that wears well. The pattern is great for girls or boys. It clips into the base securely, but I suggest getting and extra base, switching it back and forth between vehicles can be time-consuming.
My only drawback is the fixed LATCH clips, this makes getting it in your vehicle at the apprpriate angle difficult. I recommend that you have the seat professionally installed at a fire station or hospital to be sure it is at the appropriate angle for your child. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Looks Good - Thats about it!
The car seat looks very nice and seems to be comfortable...however...We own a Dodge Durango and the car seat is WAY to big to be strapped in right for the rear facing feature. The vehicle is VERY spacious and I did not think that this would be a problem. After getting so frustrated with trying to put it in we gave up and decided to return it AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!Also, it is hard to remove the infant head rest piece.I was very unhappy with this car seat, especially after paying as much as I did for it!

4-0 out of 5 stars It does the job!
I bought this carseat for my then 6 month old son. He never complains about being in it and the wings on the headrest are wonderful for his head to lean up against while napping. The pockets are great for holding toys and such that he now at 18 months old he can finally reach on his own. I only have a few complaints the cup holder can not be utilized if your child is behind the driver seat because it won't fit when you close the door, and who wants to put him behind the passenger seat and walk all the way around to get him. I have a 7 yr. old that sits behind the passenger seat so I can't put him in the middle w/o my 7 yr old having problmes buckleing himself. Also the 3 level recline system barely ever works. Sometimes it will then there are other times it won't go back to the regular position. If you are looking for a carseat this is a great goodlooking carseat, but if you are buying it to have a cup holder or because it reclines, think again. Although you could probably just go with the Evenflo Titan 5 which is a consumer reports best buy at only $70 and for this carseat I paid $129. I hope this helps. I know I did a lot of research on reviews but not one review said anything much about what I listed. Good luck! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Good, but not great!
I bought this stroller because of the buggy feature, color (there were few black strollers at the time), and high quality brand.I was generally happy with it, but I had a few issues:
1.It is not as easy to close as the American models
2.The fabric boot cannot be removed to be washed
3.The wheels are not as large as some similar models for better shock
4.There is no tray for cups, keys, etc. (there is a cup holder, but it is not as handy)

I did love the fact that you could move the handle either way so you could look at your baby or they could look out.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best stroller-worth the money
This is by far the best stroller made. The ride is smooth. The fabric is classy--love the Italian fabric.I haven't had problems with the wheels--people who have, might need to change the wheel settings. The basket is a little hard to get to when using the infant car seat; however other strollers have similar problems when using the infant car seat. I also love that the handle moves, which allows me to see my precious cargo. This stroller is the Mercedes of all strollers.

5-0 out of 5 stars My favorite stroller!!!!
I own 2 strollers.I've been searching for the perfect stroller since my daughter was born and I've finally found it!I started with the P3 (also a Peg Perego) because it is lighter than the Venezia and folds smaller.I figured that with the carseat I could create the same effect as the reversible handle.Boy was I wrong! My baby hates her carseat. And she did not like the P3 either because she couldn't see me.So I bought the Venezia. It is fantastic. My baby is happy because she can see me.And I'm happy because it is a plush, gorgeous stroller.

The wheels are not huge, but it handles fine on city sidewalks. This is not a stroller for grass and gravel, but few strollers are. That's where joggers come in handy. The wheels are bigger than they used to be - starting in 2004 Peg Perego increased the wheel size - they are now the same size as the wheels on my P3.I'm sure that has helped the handling. When you read reviews, pay attention to the age of the stroller because Peg Perego has improved it.

The boot is fantastic. It is so cozy. And you can unzip it, creating a bassinet effect which will also prevent toys (or your baby!) from falling out.The fabric is plush - it's so cozy and soft!

I find the handling to be great.Just remember to lock the wheels closest to the handle whichever way the handle is facing. What's great about this reversible stroller is that it has four sets of swivel wheels, so it handles great no matter which way the handle is facing.

The fold does take some getting used to.But it folds up (rather than towards the pavement) and stands when folded.I always keep one set of wheels locked (the ones closest to the handle in reverse mode). You can also fold it with things in the basket (like your raincover) which you can't do with the P3.It isn't terribly heavy. The 2004 and later models have handles to help you lift the stroller up steps while it is open or out of the trunk when closed. It takes up more space in my trunk than the P3, but I can fit both the Venezia and the P3 in the trunk at the same time.

The basket is HUGE!My P3 basket was ok, not really great.I found it hard to get things in and out. This basket is sooo roomy.Since 2004 the basket can be pushed down for easy access.

That said, there is 1 thing I don't like. The cupholder is a total joke!Nothing fits in it except a can of soda or the tiniest of water bottles. You can't even try to cram anything in there because it'll flip upside down.I clip a diaper bag (Kecci Mommybag) to the loops on the handlebar or hang my Skip Hop and stick my water bottle in the outside bottle pocket.

Also, I am keeping my P3 as a travel stroller. The Venezia doesn't strike me as great for airports since the fold is more complicated. But it is so wonderful that if I could do it all over again, I'd buy the Venezia now and maybe something like the Maclaren Triumph or Chicco Tuscany for toddlerhood. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Does not stand up to what we had expected from Maclaren
We are on our second Mac 3.Our first broke at the handle swivel joint (which a previous user has mentioned happening). We had to ship the whole stroller back to Maclaren in CT.After 3 months they sent us a new one.

The second one has already lost a screw in the handlebar (not at the swivel joint, but the main connection). We have also had to order two new wheel due to uneven wear.

The stroller is good for long walks on uneven pavement, but the wheels are small and the stroller a bit heavy for much running.

We have the Maclaren Volo and love it.I was hoping for more from this Mac 3 jogger.

4-0 out of 5 stars Generally, very pleased.
This being our first stroller, we wanted to make sure that it would last for several children.I also wanted a stroller that I could jog with, yet didn't want one of those monster joggers with the big wheels.I knew that Maclearn's had a good reputation for quality, so I figured this was the one.We have really been pleased with the quality of the stroller from the very start (its been almost a year). We have used the stroller exclusively since our daughter was about 3 months. It folds very compact and stores flat (perfect for our station wagon hatch area). It definitely does well on bumpy terrain, makes you feel like a champ when you can just run over the medians in the parking lots and roll across the park grass and mulch with extreme ease. The storage is ok-- there is no hard plastic cup holder, it's actually a mesh holder good for water bottles (i.e. not good for coffee cups).:-)The only issue that we have had with the stroller in the first 6 months was with the front quick-release tire. It's almost not worth mentioning, because after a slight adjustment we havent had a problem since. If you are looking for just a jogger, I would not recommend it.It's a bit heavy for a jogger and the small tires make the ride a bit bumpy. If you are looking for a quick portable stroller that is easy to whip out and push your kid around the mall in, I also, would not recommend this one. It's a bit large for shopping. However, if you are looking for an everyday, heavy duty, multi-function stroller, for us, this one has been worth the money.

1-0 out of 5 stars Wheel Alignment Problems
This product has a wheel alignment problem that causes the tread on the tires to wear out VERY quickly (3 months for me).The manufacturer is aware of the problem, but only willing to ship me new tires every three months. The problem is that it took 4 weeks & numerous calls to get the tires, and when they arrived in took a bike shop professional to change them...they only shipped the inner tube and tire.I don't know about you, but I don't want to change the tires on my jogger every 3 months.Look around many people have had the same problem. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Safe and Comfortable!!
I have been in two side impact collisions. After seeing how seriously someone can be hurt even at slow speeds AND buckeled in, I would NEVER consider buying a car seat without the best side impact protection.

I bought the Wizard after my Roundabout was in the last collision. My son was 15 months at the time. I was a little worried about how he would take the restricted head room. The first couple of days he did as others had mentioned and got his head on the other side of the "wings".After that, he has never complained and has never even acted like he missed the extra head room.
Not only that, when he takes naps in the car, his head is always straight. He always looks so comfortable and relaxed.I don't even use the reclined position and his head has never fallen forward like others had mentioned.

Everything on this carseat is user-friendly.I just love the fact that the dial on the side can adjust the shoulder strap height without taking the car seat out. With his Roundabout, there was only three strap heights, so most of the time it wasn't a perfect fit above the shoulders.

Great car seat!!

3-0 out of 5 stars Great concept, needs tweaking though.
We bought this seat from the Babies "R" Us store local to us.

Here's my thoughts. The head restraint are a great concept, but the positioning is wrong relative to the shoulder harness. The headrest and the shoulder harness straps entry point into the seat back are interconnected in one moveable piece. That may be somewhat confusing if you have not seen this seat in person, but the portion of the seat back that the headrest is attached to is also the same peice that the shoulder straps enter into the seat through. This peice is movable,up and down, in order to properly adjust the shoulder harness. The harness should go over the shoulders and straight into the seat back, not over the shoulders and down at any appreciable angle. The reason for this is that the force in a collision (from the front) will compress the spine of the child as they are forced forward if the harness is entering the seat too far below the shoulders in the back. The problem is that when the shoulder harness is properly adjusted the headrest is too high up relative to the childs head. When I have the harness properly adjusted to our daughter, the bottom edge of the headrest is at about the mid to top of her ear and most of the headrest is extending above her head. This is likely why I have seen posts about this seat complaining about the childs head getting stuck under the headrest when they fell asleep. This problem is unfortunately built into the seat and not user fixable.

The other shortcoming of the seat is the position of the shoulder harness tightening strap. It exits the seat between the childs legs and is reachable by the child when strapped in unless the shoulder straps are tightened to the point that the child has no mobility whatsoever. So while in motion (driving along) you find that the child has reached down, grabbed the strap and loosened their shoulder harness.Very dangerous!I fixed this problem by doing some hand sewing to the little flap that is velcro'ed over the strap.By stitching the cover down at each corner, our daughter can no longer raise the strap at a sharp enough angle to release the latch, but we can still get our finger under the cover from the front in order to release the strap.

The seat is also too sparsly padded.

All things considered, I would still rather have my child in a seat with a head restraint system that one without, and this is the only one on the market that I am aware of.But it needs work and the strap issue must be addressed immediatly by the buyer so that your child does not loosen their own shoulder harness.

5-0 out of 5 stars 65 pounds NOT 80
Just wanted to let parents know that I just researched the Britax site and it says this car seat is good up to 65 pounds, not 80 as this website lists. The HUSKY is good up to 80 pounds. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Looks don't help when trying to push this thing
I bought this stroller to use with my 4 month old and 3 year old.I just came back from my first outing with this at the mall.I am 5 feet 11 inches tall and 170 pounds, in other words a big girl.I think I actually hurt my back trying to turn this in the store. It is so cumbersome and tries to go which ever way the larger child is leaning.I would suggest trying a different stroller.I'm going to see if Babies r Us will let me exchange this.

I recieved this stroller as a present at my baby shower.I have an 18 month old and a 5 month old. I am looking to get rid of it because it does not fit in my trunk. If you are intrested in purchasing this stroller please contact Joey Guido @ 610-562-5895

3-0 out of 5 stars A slight thumbs up w/ reservations
I am writing this review with more than just a bit of puzzlement. After experiencingproblems with the stroller (within the first few outings), I signed on to see if other parents had the same complaints I do.What I discovered is that everyone has issue with the difficulty of controlling/turning the stroller but not a solitary person is complaining about the most concerning feature of this product.THE CANOPY OVER THE REAR SEAT DOES NOT EXTEND FAR ENOUGH TO COVER OR PROTECT THE CHILD (USUALLY AN INFANT OR THE YOUNGEST CHILD)FROM DIRECT SUNLIGHT.We purchased the stroller thinking that it would be the perfect vehicle to accomodate my 6 mo. old daughter and 21 mo. old son. What we discovered is that regardless of whether my daughter is lying prone in the reclined position or sitting upright, the canopy does not cover any part of her face, head, or upper body.Additionally, the canopy is sewn so securely to the framework of the stroller, there is no way to detach it in order to pull it forward. Our answer to this problem has been to safety pin a blanket across the top of both canopies in order to protect her from being sunburned.Of course, this means she cannot see a solitary thing and is quickly bored and frustrated. The secondary problems associated with size, weight, bulkiness and turning/steering problems take a back seat (pardon the pun) to the issues concerned with the canopy over the rear seat.On a positive note, I do like the HUGE storage space beneath the seats, the cupholder for parents and the additional sidebags. From a storage capacity, this thing is incredible.Just remember, the more you weigh it down the more difficult it is to turn.My advice:If you are going to use this product outside (as most of us do), be prepared for sunburns and sunlight in the eyes of your "littlest" passenger. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy!Very disappointing!
I loved the look and ease this stroller appeared to offer. But I returned it to the store yesterday. I wish I had read these reviews before buying!! I totally agree the seat back is too short. The harness is tight on my 16 month old and very hot and uncomfortable looking. The parent cup holders are too little to fit a regular "to go" cup or sippy cup. The headrest is difficult to adjust up and down.Bottom line: Do not buy this stroller.

2-0 out of 5 stars Did they not test this with a child before production???
My son is 17 months old, 28 lbs. and 31.5" tall.If he is wearing a jacket, there is not enough belt for the 5-point harness to buckle.I can't imagine how they possibly figured a 40 lb. child could be buckled in!His head is above the seat back, but that doesn't seem to bother him. However the seatbelt is a deal-breaker... it's going back to Target tomorrow morning!Sadly, this is one of the easiest handling, light-weight strollers with both a parent and child tray.Just a couple small fixes, and they'd have it right!

2-0 out of 5 stars had to return!!!!
At first I was thrilled with the purchase, and excited to use it at the Zoo like I did. Then a day later I read the reviews, which should have been done before the purchase, and realized
the seat back was too short. My son is 8 months old and weighs 21 pounds, his head was at the very tip of the top of the seat. Needless to say I had to return the strollera week after my purchase. The stroller says up to 40 pounds, but clearly cannot handle that weight amount. It wouldn't be a bad stroller for Infants, birth to 6 months old. It is attractive and does ride very smoothly. I just wish i had it while my son was younger.
But i have a question for anyone who reads this review and can answer, I am looking for a light weight stroller with a parent tray/baby tray in front that I can purchase for my eight month old, that can handle his weight and height till he's about three.
I have searched and found many, but they just don't have everything you need in one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Stroller for the money
I purchased this stroller for my 2 year old.We recently had a Graco, and it has seen us through many days at Disney World and many shopping trips.I have been researching strollers for some time now, and did not want to spend a fortune. Also, I was having trouble finding one large enough for my son.

This one is great.I love the extra large basket!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars New Mom in Ohio
We debated between this stroller and the Quatro Tour.We decided to go with this one b/c it is very easy to fold and unfold, it fits nicely in our trunk of our car, it is very easy to push with one hand, it was lighter than the quatro tour, and had a smoother ride.We also purchased the infant car seat which fits very nicely with this stroller.Overall, very pleased with this stroller.Only complaint is I am not crazy about the print.Would have liked the mocha pattern/color much better and so far this is the only pattern Graco makes.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice stroller
We really like this stroller. We have used a few others that were big and bulky and hard to open and close. This one is so easy to open and close and so easy to push. Its a great stroller that we should get a great deal of use out of.It can be easily used with a crying baby.I recommend it. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars loved this !
A friend bought this for me after recommending it.I loved it!I separated it and used the lower portion in the bouncer to support her upper body from slipping to the side. The top portion rested perfectly in her infant car seat and kept her head positioned perfectly...much better then the headrest in her Graco Snugride.I recommend this to all new moms.

5-0 out of 5 stars use in every thing
PRO's1. Put in car seat and baby sleeps well.
2. Put in swing and baby sleeps well and does not slip any.
3. Put in stroller baby feels better and does not slip and sleeps well
CON's dnone what i know of as of now.....
Well worth the money b/c i had 4lb babies come home from the NICU and the nurses loved it that i had the babies in these b/c it fit well with them being so little and no movement in the carseat b/c they want the carseat to be right when coming home and the babies sleep so nice in these b/c my other child did not have one of these and her head would fall over and and the babies look so nicer in these things

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for a Jogging Stroller
I have liked this item and have used it in my jogging stroller to give my little one some extra support in the seat.I have a Baby Jogger II and since it can be used until kiddos are 75 lbs she would have rattled around in there at 16 lbs when we first started using it.

It's really soft and it has washed well - although you might want to wash & dry it by itself the first time because it had a lot of fuzzies. It's nice that you can reverse it to have the soft fuzzy side out when it's cold and the smooth cotton side out when it's warm.

I have to reemphasize what some of the reviews say - be careful when using anything extra in a car seat. The reason is that, heaven forbid you were in a car crash, any extra padding could compress too much creating too much gap in the straps holding your little one in the seat.I know that this says you can use in in a car seat, just make sure that any padding in a car seat is installed properly. You don't want to have padding in between the seat back and the baby. ... Editorial Review

Besides being comfortable for its young passengers, a stroller needs to be convenient and portable for the big people on the pushing end. Parents will likely appreciate the ease of use that the Zippy provides. It can be collapsed and folded with one hand, leaving Mom or Dad free to carry groceries or children with the other. Thoughtfully, the folded stroller can also stand on its own, making it easier to throw it in the back of the car without needing to bend over. It features a spacious basket underneath, and the seat features shoulder and lap belts to keep riders securely fastened. The upholstery is a simple, blue with plaid details (no puppies or teddy bears to embarrass Dad on excursions) and is fairly stain-resistant, so food and other messes can be easily spot cleaned. --Alice Merritt ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Wow......Nicest Stroller I've Seen/Used
We just got the new 2005 spring model.Has bigger wheels, cup holder, and a bunch of other upgrades. It is by far the nicest stroller we have used.We were looking at the mountain buggy (to big), frog (overrated), and the zippy.the zippy blows away the competition...make sure you get the one of the new 2005 spring models not the one listed above....

5-0 out of 5 stars Who's writing these reviews???Look at 4/21/05 and 3/9/05
Who wrote these 2 reviews below, from Castilla (Taos, NM) on 3/9/05 and Brenda Tomasino "Kyles Mommy" (Boulder, CO) on 4/21/05.Are these 2 people the same??Or are they from a rep working at Traveling Tikes to market their website??

Interesting that the 2 reviews are word for word from 2 different people in 2 different locations.....Hmmmmmm..

Got to wonder how genuine some of these reviews and web sites are.

5-0 out of 5 stars Boy these are Italians no how to make a great stroller!
I have researched the internet and visited many stores over the past few months comparing umbrella strollers. I read many articles online and also talked with many mother's regarding their purchases. I look at the Maclaren Techno Classic, Peg Perego Pliko P3 and the Combi Ultra Savvy. But after looking carefully at these models I chose the Inglesina Zippy for the following reasons:

1.The Inglesina offered excellent growth and lots of cushie padding not to mention that the Graco Snugride and Peg Perego Primo Viaggio car seat are compatible.

2.Full recline for a new born baby and the added feature of leg extension for longer babies.

3.Tall handlebars that fit your hands well.

4.Large wheels for easy steering and a smoother ride over rough surfaces.

5.A sun canopy that angles forward to protect your child from the rays of the sun and wind.

6. Lower storage basket is adequate but so were the other models. There is enough room however to add your diaper bag and small blankets.

7. Cup holder that fits most bottles and a full weather shield to help keep your little ones cozy from the cold air and wind.

8.But the best feature of all is how easy the stroller truly folds. Not to mention that that it can be done just with one hand quickly and easily.

I purchased my stroller online and found the best value at www.travelingtikes.com whom is offering the stroller at $299.99 including free shipping and a free head and body pillow. I chose the 2005 Model LB4 in the Fuscia/Grey/Lt. Blue pattern which is beautiful to see in person. The stroller and arrived one week later and it was super easy to assemble.

I hope that this message helps all those in need of some hands on knowledge. You may also want to visit www.strollerqueen.com as her message board offers first time shoppers valuable information on a multitude of baby products.

Best wishes!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy
We bought this for our son right around his 3 month birthday to keep at his day care provider's house and he has loved it every minute since then.He loves to bat the rattle and watch it spin around.Having the 2 volume levels is a nice feature. We also have the kick and crawl aquarium at our house but he prefers this one a so if deciding between the two I would pick this one.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Playmate
The one negative aspect of this toy is the fact that there's absolutely no padding for the baby to lay on. But to solve that problem I put one of my daughters quilt under the cover to make it soft and comfortable for her little body. I find the toys to be in her hands reach and the bright colors and sounds have helped her be more entertained with this toy

Editorial Review

Young children have a seemingly infinite capacity for exploration, investigating everything thoroughly and relentlessly as they try to learn about their world. While this Fisher-Price set is not likely to fully satisfy that curiosity, nothing ever will, it is likely to keep young kids quite busy and occupied. Eight blocks are included in the set, the clear cubes found in many modern Fisher-Price sets, and they are the key ingredients in the five interactive sides of the cube. There are options to stack the cubes up on a rack and then release them to tumble down with a turn of a lever, put them though holes to initiate perky sounds and flashing lights, and plenty of other fun games that should delight toddlers. Inside the block is room for up to 30 Fisher-Price blocks. There is some cause and effect teaching going on here but, as with all good educational toys, toddlers are not likely to think much about the learning; theyre too busy having fun. --Charlie Williams ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A great all-in-one!
I absolutely love this toy- and so do my two little ones (twin 11 month-olds).We received this as a gift when they were 5 months old & I thought I would die, as it is pretty big & we have a small space. The babies loved it- all the sounds, lights, and the toys are so cute- the babies loved to hold them in their hands and inspect every them. They seemed to learn to sort & stack pretty quickly after recieving this, and seem to learn a new skill every couple of weeks- all with the help of this one big toy.Yes, it's big, but it also means you don't have to buy 4 toys that do what this ONE will.So sturdy- I will have one baby leaning on this on either side & it won't budge (I'm sure it's capable of slipping, but hasn't happenned yet).OH- WE DID PUT SOME GRIP TAPE ON THE BOTTOM OF IT SO THAT IT WOULDN'T SLIDE AROUND ON THE CARPET OR HARD WOOD- MADE FOR AN ALMOST ACCIDENT-FREE TOY BY DOING THIS.WOULD RECCOMEND TO EVERYONE!

4-0 out of 5 stars suprisingly pleased
I bought this toy for my son when he was 8 months old. I was looking for some type of stand up play toy since he was trying to pull up on everything. I was torn between this and a play table. My son has been very happy with it. When I first got it open and we were checking it out I was very disappointed at the lack of activities. It seemed that it really did not do much. I was tempted to take it back. but as I watched my son with it I changed my mind. After all it was for him right? He seemed very entertained and he loves to put his weebles and balls on the spinning thing. I also bought the insurance that came with it. I normally would not do that but I had heard about the problems with the music and lights stopping after only a few months. My son bangs on this thing constantly. WE have not even had to change the batteries yet. He loves this toy. and my 5 year old daughter loves it too. They seem to get alot of enjoyment out of it. I was told you could buy more talking blocks for it but I have not seen them anywhere.

My 11month old never got interested in it!We would sit in the floor & play w/ it!I would show her the different things it did!
She would loose interest quicly!I think one of the mogor things wrong w/ it is the music is not loud enough to keep there attention! We have it turned all the way up & it still is pretty soft. Her other toys are pretty loud & they keep her playing! The box only has one speaker & it is on the side.So maybe if they put more than one speaker it would be better. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Fun toy for my bouncing little girls!
We bought this Rock 'N Bounce Pony for my youngest daughter's first birthday a month and a half ago.We got it because she LOVED to jump in her doorway Jumpster.Since she is such a bouncer, I thought this toy would be great for her current age.

She does enjoy the toy, but only in small doses. She might jump for a minute, then she's ready to get off. That's why I only gave it 4 overall stars instead of 5.I think I'm more excited about the toy than she is, although she does like it.

At first we attached the "support seat" and that worked fine. However, we also have another daughter, age two years and eight months. She REALLY wanted to jump, too, so we let her.(It states that the toy is for ages 9 months through age 3).She kept getting stuck in the support seat, so we removed it altogether. Now my oldest can bounce to her heart's content with no problems. The youngest needs help getting on and off anyway, so it works out fine that we took it off.I sit there beside her during her jumping and rocking, so there is no fear that she will fall off.I wish I could take the support on and off easily to better accomodate each child, but it requires a screwdriver.Obviously, there's no way I'm screwing the seat in then taking it off every time the other child wants to bounce.

I would recommend this toy for children ages 9 months to age 2.If the child is over 2 I'd be cautious about buying because they might be too big.My older daughter has almost outgrown it.(The seat is on the small side.)

The toy is well made and looks like it will last for years. My husband assembled it easily.Radio Flyer brand has been around for a long time, so I trust their good name for a quality product.

Overall, I'm glad we got this toy.Buy it if 1) your child really enjoys bouncing and 2) you plan to have more than one child. That way you'll get your money out of it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for a baby
Our little one is ten months old and she LOVES this horse. We still have to stand by her but at least we don't have to hold her the whole time. This is her favorite one right now out of the three that she has. :)

5-0 out of 5 stars Best rocking horse for 1 year olds and up.
My son loves his rocking horse. We got the toy for him as a Christmas gift and he rides it at least once a day.
My son is now almost 15 months old so I removed the waste
harness, as he showed interest in getting on and off himself.
It also works as a great replacement for a swing, since babies outgrow those so quickly.Several times he has rocked himself to sleep on his horse.

5-0 out of 5 stars My son's favorite
We bought this seat (in a different print) for my 4 1/2 year old son as a second booster seat for my husband's vehicle. My son also has different booster seats in my car and his gradparents car as well. This seat is by far his favorite. He loves the hide away cup holders. They make it easy for him to pull out if he needs them, but they stay tucked away and out of the way when he doesn't.The headrest is also a plus.In his other seats he has problems resting but not with this one.I love the seat belt postitioner. It keeps the shoulder belt in the perfect place at all times and is much sturdier than other seats that only have the small plastic belt positioner on the side of the fabric.I would suggest this seat to anyone looking for a good booster seat.

5-0 out of 5 stars FINNALLY! a great booster for my twins!
I just bought all new carseats. For my younger boys I got the decathlon and for my older b/g twins I got these. Needing 4 carseats for each child, I could not afford to buy 8, so each kid could have one in each car. So we usually leave them in my SUV with 3rd row seating instead of my husbands pick up truck.I know that these are light weight and easy to move, because it has been done before. They fit VERY nicely in my back row. My older twins love to be a "big boy" and "big girl". SInce its hard enough to buckle my younger twins in the middle row, they found out how to buckle themselves, (though I always look to make sure!!). The seat is very comfortable and my 3 year olds have NEVER complained in it, (unlike the booster that grandma had!). It is very cute and comes in multiple patterns which is nice. I like the fact that it uses the actual seatbelt. My kids love the cup holders, (though I dont really trust them, I only use the no-spill cups in the car!). The adjustable headrest is nice, though I only see it being useful for when they grow, not to adjust for comfort. When my friends see these boosters they love them, and ask where I bought them. They are not too expensive, and not too cheep, (like the similar modle with no back, its $20.00!) I am very happy with my purchase and would (and have) recomend this for ANYONE.

3-0 out of 5 stars Confused, don't understand the great ratings
We just bought this booster seat for our 2 1/2 year old (because he meets the weight and height requirements) and he loved it at first. But when he falls asleep it does nothing to support him and he wakes up uncomfortable, over and over, crying non-stop.It's terrible! And he is not a cryer, so we know there is something really bothering him.He just rubs his head and says "hurt".Anyway, it confuses me to hear these other reviews, although I did read in "Toddler Bargains" that the seat was great, great price too, but there seemed to be a lack of support for when a child falls asleep.Anyway, be aware. If you are buying this, and you take frequent longer car rides, or travel by car a lot, or your child can nap in the car, then be aware that it is not the best car seat for sleeping.I did, however, find some pillows for either side of the seat for toddlers who have this same issue.(One Step Ahead)I'd love to hear what others have to say about this, or if anyone has found anything else that helps the comfort issue. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great for Travel
I've used this backpack for my son, now 16 months, since he was about 8 months.I think it's wonderful. My husband finds it a bit uncomfortable after carrying the baby for an hour or so, but I find it very comfortable (I'm 5'3").I've used it several times for traveling by plane with just myself and the baby. It's much easier to manage than a stroller because your hands are free for toting luggage. When you've got to take the baby out to go through the airport security station, the kickstand is very handy. It is a little harder to get it off and on without assistance once your child hits about 25 pounds, but I still wouldn't say the process was difficult. My son is very happy to ride in it.He fusses after being in the stroller for extended periods, but never in the backpack. He seems to enjoy seeing the world from backpack height.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great fot the money!!!!!
We love our backpack, and so does our 11 month old(24 lbs) son. I did a lot of research before choosing the Cross Country and I am very pleased with the results. We originally wanted a Kelty one, but we are on a budget so I started looking into used ones. I found some good deals on Ebay, but still could not afford the top of the line ones, even being used.
I agree with the other post that there is not enough padding on the carrier for long hikings, but we went hiking for 2 hours he other day and my husband did not complained. He is 6'4'', a little taller than the recommended max of 6'2'' fot he carrier. I love that it comes with a sun shade(just the sun shade for the Kelty is almost 30 bucks), but by far my favorite feature is the HUGE compartment for diapers, sippy cups, bottles, etc. It's really a good size, comparable to a medium diaper bag! I managed to even put the sun shade in there half way through our hiking trip. There is also a mesh pocket on the back, not to mention a little pouch on the left side, great for cell phone, wallet, keys and chap stick!
I do recommend this carrier, is a great value for the money. I have not yet seen the upgraded one(Cross Terrain), but it might have some more padding, so it's worth looking into.

3-0 out of 5 stars good for an afternoon but.....
This backpack is fine for a walk in the park but if you intend to do any serious hiking for an afternoon I wouldn't recommend it.First problem that we found with it is that it was difficult to put on once our 1 yr old was in it, (he weighs 25 lbs). The next problem was that after hiking for about an hour the straps cut into our shoulders. There is NOT enough padding if you will be wearing it for an afternoon of hiking. My husband also had a problem with pain in the middle uppper part of his back after wearing this backpack.

I would have to say that if you are planning on doing more than an occaional walk in the park, spend the money and get a Kelty or a Tough Traveler.I recently bought a Kelty Ridgeline and it is worth the extra money.A friend of mine has the tough TravellerStallion and she loves it.

On the plus side this backpack has great storage with the fanny pack (good for sippy cups or camera) and a great storage area in the back. ... Read more
