This toy will make you want to take a nap. Equipped with straps that attach it to a crib, this play aquarium and music maker is the perfect thing to amuse a child or soothe them to sleep. There are three settings, depending on what kind of stimulation is needed: music only; music plus soft glowing lights; and music plus lights, bubbles, and moving fish. There are also three music options, the best one offering soft and melodic New Age fare, the other two somewhat odd, spacey versions of familiar lullabies. The music combined with the lights creates an instantly peaceful, soothing ambiance. There are a couple of buttons and doodads for baby to bat around that make the fish react in various ways. If these buttons were a little more responsive, this toy would be near perfect. --David Stoesz ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars BEST PRODUCT OUT THERE!
My daughter cannot resist this!!!We've been working on getting her to sleep better at night, and if she's awake at all when we put her down, this takes care of it!She loves to watch the lights, and she calms down very quickly with this product. It's certainly helped my husband and I get some sleep!:)

This product is great. My baby is only six weeks old and has been mezmerized by it for two weeks. A must have for new moms.

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't live without it
Bought this for my son and it is awesome. He is now 21 months and still enjoys playing with it and listening to all the different music it can make. When he was under a year, we would play the "ocean waves" sound to get him to sleep. It worked perfect because it simulates the womb. Now, that he is older, he chooses his own bed time song and knows how to turn it on and off.

The only drawback is that it does not have a remote control. It would have been nice when he was younger and it took longer than 15 miuntes to fall asleep, to be able to push a button from outside of the room to start the music over again. (maybe on the next version)

It does not go through as many batteries as I was expecting. The batteries seem to last a few months.

Overall - I would totally recommend this product and I am going to buy another one for our next son later this year. ... Read more

Activity mats are a staple baby item in most households. They provide a safe, fun, and educational environment where your little one can lie or sit, and play. Tiny Love's award-winning deluxe mat depicts a riot of happy animals. Elephants, monkeys, giraffes, and even birds will charm your baby who will love the round mirror, squeaky bird, crinkly elephant ear, and pullable giraffe tail. Also included are four plastic rings that can hang from the crossbars, each one with a different plush animal attached to it providing more stimulation and activities. Hidden in one corner of the playmat is a small plastic box housing a switch and speaker. Move the switch to Mozart to hear 10 continuous minutes of music and to light up the three flowers on the mat. Switch to Nursery Tunes for shorter snippets of three popular songs. The mat and its arches fold up nicely, and the entire gym snaps together and travels easily. --Pam Lauer ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars what a fun gym!
our munchkin, and our friends munchkins, all seem to have a blast in this gym. i love that it comes with a mirror (i just wish it could be removed to be played with and/or attached to crib), great sounding classical and nursery music (activated by switch or baby), lights (baby loves to stare at) and cute animals that we occassionally attach to the stroller and take along with us. so versitle, what a fun gym!

This is a happy, noisy toy that should amuse most toddlers. Everything that can be touched reacts in some way, from a trombone-playing frog to a book that sings the alphabet. Our favorite is the colored keyboard that sings each color you press. The tabletop can be placed on the floor for those still in the crawling phase, or can sit on the included legs for a sturdy surface and leaning spot for little ones who are new to walking. If there is any fault with the Learning Table, it may be that it has too many features: each element of the table reacts in two different ways, depending on whether it's in Learn Mode or Music Mode. (Modes are switched by flipping the page of the book mounted in the center of the table.) Though this means more fun stuff for kids to hear, the mode concept is not one that they can be expected to understand, and the effect of the toy's inconsistent reactions is likely to be confusion. --David Stoesz ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy to give moms a break
Great toy for babies. My daughter can spend one hour on the mat by herself. I also made a few adjustments for her to enjoy the toy even better by placing the mirror on top, so she can look at herself while laying down on her back. She absolutely loves it. Also, I placed the bird chime towards the end where her legs are so she can kick it since the kicking pat doesn't respond to her kicks at all. The chime makes wonderful sounds.
The kicking pat really need to be improved. The kicking pat doesn't respond unless you kick hard at the exact spot. This kicking pat is not designed for little babies, maybe useful when baby gets older.

    4-0 out of 5 stars Anisa's Mom
I just bought this mat this past weekend from my local Babies R Us after comparing it online with other playmats. My local Toys R Us didn't have any in stock, and I didn't want to wait for one to be shipped to me.One reason I was drawn to this one is because the mat is much bigger than a lot of the other ones.I also like the idea of snapping the sides together to form somewhat of a border around my baby.As soon as I bought it home, I couldn't wait to unpack it. I set it up, which was very easy and put my daughter, Anisa, who is 3 1/2 months old, on it.Right away she started batting at the dangling figures and kicking on the kickpad. She really likes the tiger :-).She spent about a 1/2 hour playing on this mat and was just smiling and laughing.I left her with her dad for about another 20 minutes, and when I came back, she'd fallen asleep right there on the mat.I guess she played so much, she wore herself out. Wow!

Another thing that I like about this mat is the fact that the bars that hold the hanging figures simply unsnap from each other, lay flat and I can then change her right on the mat without having to pick her up to change her diaper somewhere else and then bring her back to play.

I do have an issue with the kickpad. It seems to take a lot of strength and exactness for the lights to light up and to play the music. If she doesn't kick exactly on the imprint showing the ball of the foot, it doesn't light or play the music. And I've gotta say my daughter has pretty strong kicks when we are playing, but I guess they are not strong enough when she kicks this kickpad.

The description on Amazon.com said that 3 AA batteries were included, but when I bought it at Babies R Us, there weren't any batteries included. Now I don't know if Amazon has a slightly different one or they get some extras from the manufacturer, but I think if you are paying $70 (which is quite pricey I must say), batteries should be included. After checking 3 other Total Playground Activity Mats on the shelf at Babies R Us, I gave in bought a 4-pack of AA batteries at 4 more dollars :-(.

Overall, I really like this mat because it has some really nice features, eventhough it is a bit pricey.Aside from the kickpad issues, we really do like this toy because it is both educational and fun and it keeps Anisa well entertained and happy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy for baby!!!
I just got this toy for my 9 month old daughter a few days ago and she loves it.There is so much to do so many activities. My daughter gets bored easily so this toy is wonderful. It keeps her busy time and time again.I do have one complaint though Fisher price makes you do all of the work to put together this toy.You don't get out of anything you have to screw on every part you could possibly think of.Some of the things could have been done eaisly during manufacturing. But it was well worth it.This is a great toy! And I think it will entertain her for a long time.

2-0 out of 5 stars Boring
We bought this when our daughter was 3 months old. Either She couldn't reach the toys or they were smacking her in the face. She couldnt make the music come on and she had no interest in any of the toys. She may like it when she can crawl and it turns into a tunnel but as a baby playmat its not worth it

2-0 out of 5 stars Cheap and no fun!
I was not impressed at all with this toy.It looks cheap, first of all, and was not entertaining at all for my daughter, who is now 8 months and has had it since birth. The two teething toys were cheap and looked like something you'd get in a happy meal. The ball was fine, but the only toy really worth the money is the octopus, and it hangs too high up to be any fun-- my daughter couldn't reach it until she could sit up alone, and by then she wasn't interested anymore.I wound up buying a Gymini, and then removing the octopus from this toy and putting it on the Gymini. There are far better playgyms-- don't waste your money.

2-0 out of 5 stars Difficult to push buttons, turns off quickly
My 10-month old daughter always smiles when I bring out Baby Tad, but in my opinion the toy is not very well designed for babies. The buttons, embedded in fabric, are really hard for her to push. After a few seconds of not having any buttons pushed, Baby Tad turns off automatically, bringing a quick end to playtime unless I'm sitting there with her pushing the buttons. Could have been a great toy, but I think they missed the boat.

I gave my granddaughter this toy on her first birthday, hoping it was not too young for her Every time I have seen her, she has been playing with it.She is 22 months and this time she started singing songs from it (unbeknownst to me). When I started singing with her, she brought it over and we sang every song together. What a perfect toy - colors, shapes, songs!

    Editorial Review

Toys that grow with your child from infancy to toddlerhood are well worth their cost. The Classical Chorus Gym is one such toy, allowing your child to explore music at every stage of his development. As an infant, your child can lay on his back and bat at the hanging toys while the keyboard plays 10 different classical or nursery melodies, some with a children’s chorus. You can set the music to play continuously for up to 10 minutes, or only when your child successfully hits a toy, teaching him cause and effect. When your child learns to sit, the keyboard adjusts with him to the proper height, and then adjusts one more times to accommodate a standing or walking child. At these stages, you can set the music to play part of a song when your child presses a key or let your child experiment with scales and individual notes. The keyboard’s "singing" stars light up as music plays to further delight budding musicians. The Classical Chorus Gym requires three "C" batteries for operation. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for all ages!
I love this toy!Someone bought it for us when our baby was born. She's been using it since she was about 2 months old and had enough control of her arms and legs to bat at the toys that hang down. She is now 6 months and sitting up so I converted it so the sitting stage and she still plays with it all the time. When she was learning to sit up it was great too because she would keep her balance by hanging onto the keys and "playing" music. My nephew is 18 months and he still plays with his everyday. This is the only toy that has consistently captured her attention and she will play with this toy for at least 20 minutes at a time.

4-0 out of 5 stars could be better designed
My main problem with this toy is it confuses my four month old.He hits a key, and a star above the key lights up.So he hits the star, and nothing happens. It's a small thing, but this toy would be so much better if either the keys lit up, or if he could hit the star and have it make a noise too.
I love how easy it is to set this up.The legs come off and on very quickly. My son can't sit up on his own yet, so I take the legs off the keyboard, prop him up against me, and have him play. And I really like the large variety of music.I think this is a pretty good toy, and definitely worth $30.

With a little help from a bigger friend (parent, guardian…), young children can launch into the world of learning via interactive books. Little Touch LeapPad is designed for tots 6 to 36 months, with three distinct levels of activities and stories: musical rhythms and sounds; short descriptive phrases; and rhymes and early learning. Stories or activity cards snap into the book frame, along with a story cartridge. Grownups will need to help little ones activate the book pages by touching the "Go" button every time a page is turned, as well as showing young "readers" how to touch pictures to make them come to life with developmentally appropriate narration and learning activities. A comfy cushion is attached to the LeapPad platform for cozy shared reading time. Four AA batteries required (not included). --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Frustrating, poorly made, but a good idea
I wish this Leap Pad had lived up to its potential! I was so excited when it came out just in time for my 3rd child. My older two had greatly enjoyed Leappad products, and I was eager to start my youngest on them too.I bought the Little Touch and 3 book sets right away.My daughter was too young at first to try them.I first gave it a try when she was 6 months, and she had no interest. So I tried again at 9 months. This time she was VERY interested, but it was a totally frustrating time for her.She caught on right away she needed to touch the pages, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't touch hard enough. She broke into tears after a short time.I tried touching for her, but she has little interest in books unless she can hold and mouth them. She tried holding the pages, and badly wrinkled several of them. It's not really a fun learning experience when you are constantly saying "no"!

I do like the whole idea of this product, and I think that if they overcame some of the engineering problems, it would be quite nice.I like the different levels, so that you can just hear music, or hear simple phrases, or hear the whole book. The activity cards included with each book also seem a bit more heavy duty than the regular books, but they too greatly frustrated us in terms of being touchable!

I also question including Where the Wild Things Are as one of the books.I love the book, and my sons do too, but it's NOT a baby book---it's probably fine for 3 and up, but not really something a baby would relate to.I think it's a choice to draw in parents, not babies.

I might try the similar Fisher-Price product if I can find it for a low price.Sorry, Leap Pad!

2-0 out of 5 stars Also disappointed
My twin daughters got this product for their 1st birthday. We have tried to use it several times, but my daughters are more interested in playing with the on/off button and the volume button placed right on the front of the base than they are in listening and looking at the book.It would have been smarter for LeapFrog to have placed these buttons on the back or on the side where they would have been out of eye sight of little ones.I also agree that the touch pad isn't sensitive enough for little ones to push. It's a pain for even ME to get the different spots in the book to activate. However, I haven't had the troubles others have had with the pages ripping. They are made of a paper-type material, but have proven to be very durable. My daughters drag the leap pad around the house by the pages of the books and still haven't had one tear.BUT . . . the pages are very wrinkled making it hard to see the images and also causing the pages to no longer lay flat.My girls are now almost two and still don't care for the leap pad.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not what it appears to be
I was highly disappointed with this. We bought this for my son at Christmas (16 months old then) thinking it would be a great educational toy for him to play with when I couldn't be sitting down with him (like when I'm cooking). We were terribly wrong! We have 2 friends who also bought this and are just as disappointed.

This is not a toy you can give a child and walk away. First, it's complicated to use for a toddler. Every time you turn a page, you must hit the green go button. RIGHT! Second, the books are made of paper and are pretty flimsy. Plus they are rather pricey for the cheap quality. Third, the setting that reads the story is so slow, my impatient toddler never lets me wait to turn the pages before the story is ready. Finally, I'm not pleased with the educational value of the books for the cost. I can buy books on shapes, color, numbers, etc myself and sit and go through the books with my son and he gets a lot more out of it.

Overall, I should have taken this (and the 5 books we bought) back and bought something else. ... Read more

This gentle, whimsical toy provides gentle stimulation and interactive play for a baby or toddler. There are three balls, each with a different colored fish inside, that the child can place inside the fishbowl, prompting soft music and happy, bubbly sound effects. The music and sounds also play when the balls are moved around inside the bowl. The unit has a rounded bottom so it can be gently rocked, and there are two volume settings; a feature parents are sure to appreciate. Requires 3 AA batteries (included). --David Stoesz ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A big hit - for a long time.
I admit I was skeptical when my Mom bought this for my then 5-month-old daughter (sorry Mom, if you're reading this!).But my daughter took a shine to it right away, laughing at the music, watching the sparkly "water" slosh around, and moving the balls around. She continued to play with it up until she was about 18 mos old or so, almost every day. As her motor skills improved she found more and more things to do with it - spin the aquarium around by herself, shake it to see what happens, try to throw or roll the balls into the aquarium...I was really surprised at all of the different ways she found to play with this toy. Great call, Mom! I strongly recommend this toy for other parents.

3-0 out of 5 stars Premie twins mom review of fish bowl
Overall this toy is quite durable, but the balls are on the heavy side along with the extra bubbler that came with the fish bowl. I have twins who run on the smaller side, so it may be a couple more months before they would be comfortable playing with the toy. The music and lights are great and they enjoy watching and listening. thanks

5-0 out of 5 stars Who knew that a fishtank would be so interesting!? :)
I have 2 sets of twins, 3 year old b/g and 8 month old b/b. We also have MANY pets (2 dogs, a cat, and fish). My kids just LOVE looking at the fish tank so someone bought this for us as a joke, but my kids LOVED it!! My 8 month olds love rolling the balls and putting them in the bowl. The 3 year olds love to sort of throw them in the bowl, (not recomended, but as long as the babies aren't around I dont hassle them too much :) ). They all love this toy and I had to go out and buy another one, (I cant have ALL four of them playing with it at once!)This toy is NEVER in the toy box, because someone is always playing with it! My 8 month olds are actually really in love with the turtle, while the 3 year olds love the pink fish! I think they like the bubbles better than the music (because thats what "the real fishies) do!) I love the aquarium toys (we have the crib ones too) and I love fisher price. Your kids will LOOOOVVVVEEEEE this too! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Gets better with age
My baby got this as a newborn, but was not interested in it until 3 months. As a newborn she would hit the lever to get the bird out and the music would scare her, she spent a lot of time crying while using this toy!Now that she is over 3 months, she likes the music and loves to look at the mirror.I hang other linkadoos from the flower and she loves to pull at them.We have never had a problem with the house falling out, it is buttoned pretty securely, nor has she ever gotten any body part stuck in it.I like this toy and she enjoys it at this age, but if I had to do it again, I would probably get one of the Tiny Love Gyms that hold more interest for newborns.I registered for this because I didn't want anyone to spend $60 on the Tiny Love mat I originally wanted.I thought the red white and black one would be too boring, come to find out my baby gets over-stimulated by music and lights so the basic mat would have been perfect.Get to know your baby first, then decide which mat would suit their interests.

My son loves this.He tries to see himself in the mirror and loves grabbing the animals. He gets so excited when he realizes he makes the music.

5-0 out of 5 stars What a life saver!
We bought this for our son when he was 3 months old because we were having trouble putting him to sleep in his crib at night. He loved it! We would do our nightly routine of reading a book, and then I would turn this on, lay him down and he would watch it until he drifted off to sleep. He's now 6 months old, and he still loves it.

5-0 out of 5 stars a goodnight sleep
I have to say that not only does my baby love this but the whole family does too. We will get ready for bed and turn the lights off and turn on the sounds and light projector and have our nightly dancing session with baby and my two older kids before laying him down. once baby is down my self, hubby and my girls would lay in bed looking at the adorable pictures move across the ceiling. It's a nice way of even getting our two older kids to clam down as well. a little dance, lay on bed and watch the lights and kids are off to their beds calm and soothed.

    5-0 out of 5 stars A LIFESAVER!
My 3 month old daughter is addicted to this.It is a lifesaver when I can't get her to take a nap.She actually thrusts her head back to look at the ceiling the minute we walk into her bedroom because she's looking for the birdies!Well worth the money. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Broke within 1 week
I bought this toy for my son.The toy broke within 1 week. The pond sticks and keeps saying the same thing over and over again, the blocks, when put into place, sing the same song, one short verse, over and over again.Unfortunately, the little birds get stuck saying the same things as well.It wasn't worth the money for us.My son does like the shapes though.Hope this is helpful as a lot of reviews have been for me.Thanks.

5-0 out of 5 stars Another toy my baby loves
My daughter received this when she was 7 and a half months old, and still plays with it every day at over a year old. She lves the bee that circles around- I hear "bzzzzzzz...bzzzzzz...bzzzzzzz" quite often! She also loves to "splash" and hear the numbers (you press the "water" and the toy counts up to ten, one number at a time, each time you press it)....she also loves pressing the birds and hearing the baby and mommy bird talk to each other- they each say 3 phrases. You can also switch from learning mode to music mode.

My baby plays with this toy a lot and the batteries seem to last a long time for all that she plays with it, I'm not replacing batteries all that often. She likes this toy better than some other ones that are bigger and do more amazing things.

It seems like at over a year old, she is going to continue to play with this toy for awhile, so that gets the Seal of Approval from me, like I always say, read my other reviews, I have a Big Thing about getting my money's worth out of toys, and skipping over toys that will lose baby's interest in a short period of time. I like that my baby has played with this toy every day for 5 months and still loving it. For example, she played with her Dancing Bandstand for about a week before she got bored with it, and never goes to it any more.

5-0 out of 5 stars Toy with lasting value!
I got this toy when my baby could sit up and boy, did she love it! She smacked that water so many times, she couldn't get enough it. She liked to pull out the "flowers" and bite them, bang them together, throw them, you name it.

She then learned to walk shortly after buying it and I thought the toy would get no more use. But now she has learned to put the shapes back into the holes and loves to dance to the music.

It is also so sturdy, she sometimes picks it up and walks with it. And we've only changed the batteries once in 5 months. LOVE IT! ... Read more

    Editorial Review

There's lots to see, hear, and do with this toy that willfoster the developmental skills of a toddler. When little ones push oneof the five plastic balls through the hole at the top of this tower, lights flash and music plays. From there the ball travels down a spiralpath all the way to the bottom--unless your toddler chooses to redirectit with the dial on the side of the ramp. Some babies will simply enjoywatching the ball swirl down the ramp. But as babies get a bitolder, they will also be able to observe and anticipate the actionof the balls and realize that their actions have an effect onwhere the balls go. How cool is that? For a toddler, very cool! Onedrawback to this toy is that it probably isn't sturdy enough or heavyenough for babies or toddlers to use it to pull themselves from asitting to a standing position, though the "Pull-up" portion of thename implies that's possible. There's plenty more to do with this toy,so that is only a minor consideration. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Mixed feelings about this toy.
My son loved this toy from the time he had it.He got it for his first birthday, and he is now 3 & 1/2 and still looks for this toy to play with.My problem with it, is that the top red ring never stays on.It's constantly falling off, and I am so sick and tired of putting it back together every five minutes!I finally hid it in the basement, even though my son loves it so much.I have twin infants at home and just do not have the time to keep putting this back together!I do think it would easily tip over on a child using it to "pull up".Although, my son was already walking by the time he got this toy, and so he didn't use it in that fashion.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun toy for baby
I thought this was great toy for my twin girls. It is interactive and it holds their attention for quite awhile. My only "beef"with this toy is that it can be prone to tipping over. My girls haven't had any spills as of yet (knock on wood) but I can see where there is potential for a few. I think this toy will be a favorite for awhile with them and if anything the plastic balls that come with it are certainly entertaining for them.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent for Soon to be Toddlers!!
I got this for my son because he was not walking as he should (He didn't walk til 18 months). This was an amazing toy to encourage him to start standing and keeping his balance as he put the balls in the top. I know they do not market it as something to help kids stand but it is made very well and is durable enough to handle new toddlers. It is fun and kids of all age have loved it at my home. The music makes it exciting. Great buy!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy
We bought this for our son right around his 3 month birthday to keep at his day care provider's house and he has loved it every minute since then.He loves to bat the rattle and watch it spin around.Having the 2 volume levels is a nice feature. We also have the kick and crawl aquarium at our house but he prefers this one a so if deciding between the two I would pick this one.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Playmate
The one negative aspect of this toy is the fact that there's absolutely no padding for the baby to lay on. But to solve that problem I put one of my daughters quilt under the cover to make it soft and comfortable for her little body. I find the toys to be in her hands reach and the bright colors and sounds have helped her be more entertained with this toy

1-0 out of 5 stars You are kidding, right?

Young children have a seemingly infinite capacity for exploration, investigating everything thoroughly and relentlessly as they try to learn about their world. While this Fisher-Price set is not likely to fully satisfy that curiosity, nothing ever will, it is likely to keep young kids quite busy and occupied. Eight blocks are included in the set, the clear cubes found in many modern Fisher-Price sets, and they are the key ingredients in the five interactive sides of the cube. There are options to stack the cubes up on a rack and then release them to tumble down with a turn of a lever, put them though holes to initiate perky sounds and flashing lights, and plenty of other fun games that should delight toddlers. Inside the block is room for up to 30 Fisher-Price blocks. There is some cause and effect teaching going on here but, as with all good educational toys, toddlers are not likely to think much about the learning; theyre too busy having fun. --Charlie Williams ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A great all-in-one!
I absolutely love this toy- and so do my two little ones (twin 11 month-olds).We received this as a gift when they were 5 months old & I thought I would die, as it is pretty big & we have a small space. The babies loved it- all the sounds, lights, and the toys are so cute- the babies loved to hold them in their hands and inspect every them. They seemed to learn to sort & stack pretty quickly after recieving this, and seem to learn a new skill every couple of weeks- all with the help of this one big toy.Yes, it's big, but it also means you don't have to buy 4 toys that do what this ONE will.So sturdy- I will have one baby leaning on this on either side & it won't budge (I'm sure it's capable of slipping, but hasn't happenned yet).OH- WE DID PUT SOME GRIP TAPE ON THE BOTTOM OF IT SO THAT IT WOULDN'T SLIDE AROUND ON THE CARPET OR HARD WOOD- MADE FOR AN ALMOST ACCIDENT-FREE TOY BY DOING THIS.WOULD RECCOMEND TO EVERYONE!

4-0 out of 5 stars suprisingly pleased
I bought this toy for my son when he was 8 months old. I was looking for some type of stand up play toy since he was trying to pull up on everything. I was torn between this and a play table. My son has been very happy with it. When I first got it open and we were checking it out I was very disappointed at the lack of activities. It seemed that it really did not do much. I was tempted to take it back. but as I watched my son with it I changed my mind. After all it was for him right? He seemed very entertained and he loves to put his weebles and balls on the spinning thing. I also bought the insurance that came with it. I normally would not do that but I had heard about the problems with the music and lights stopping after only a few months. My son bangs on this thing constantly. WE have not even had to change the batteries yet. He loves this toy. and my 5 year old daughter loves it too. They seem to get alot of enjoyment out of it. I was told you could buy more talking blocks for it but I have not seen them anywhere.

My son loves these three toys!He used to just stare at them when we would hang them over his carseat handle (kept him entertained at restaurants!) when he was a couple months old.Now he loves to play with them, chew on them, crinkle the material, etc... His eyes light up whenever he sees any of them - although the monkey is his favorite. Now that he's starting to teethe, he likes to chew on the butterfly one.I really like that they can all clip onto anything - prevents them from falling out of the stroller/carseat.Plus you can dangle them and have baby reach for them.I would highly recommend them!

When it comes to musical instruments, the drum is arguably one of theeasiest to play: just give it a smack. Fortunately, LeapFrog has created a drumthat's sure to provide ongoing delight. It's an electronic instrument with fourdifferent settings. When set to "ABC," each pat of the drum displays a letter onthe drum's top while a friendly voice says the letter out loud. The letters aresequential, so the drummer learns the alphabet. The "123" option works in asimilar way. There are also options for musical notes and a traditional drumsound. An off control and two volume settings will be welcomed by parents whoare sure to hear this drum being played with repeatedly. If the young drummerpauses for a while, the friendly voice plays a little song or asks to be playedwith again. --John Moe ... Read more

Yes, they're all the same.Once you have one toy, you have all of them. All the Leapfrog toys have the same songs.I would spend your money in one of the more expensive Leapfrog toys, and forget buying the rest, unless you love listening to the songs over and over and over. However, I do like the Leapfrog learning toys. Please, Leapfrog, invest your money in more/different songs and sounds!

We received this as a gift for our son when he was around 5 1/2 months and starting to sit alone. He really enjoyed it initially and I like the fact that it would respond to his thumping even if it was upside down or on it's side.
