5-0 out of 5 stars The greatest online invention ever to hit consoles!!!!!!!!!!
This is the greatest thing I have ever seen. Xbox live is a great way to take your gaming online because it works with numerous amounts of games and is something you can never get bored with. A little too much, but every penny is worth it. The new revolutionary way of communicating over the internet is phenomenal. People actually talking into a headset together while they are playing.

More features about xbox live is the fact you can create a gamers tag, which is just any silly name that pops into your head with also an optional voice sensor. This allows your voice to sound anything you want it to. It is the coolest and funniest thing alive.

The people online are very friendly and helpful, but sometimes you get those people who do not give a dang about rookies. People who just bought this item; stay absolutely away from Halo 2 for right now. The people in the multiplayer matches will slaughter you in seconds. Take it from me. One minute the enemy is vanished and the next minute they are wacking you over the head with their gun.

You have the choice of a yearly renewal or monthly. Im not sure how much the monthly is, but the yearly is fiftly bucks, which is well worth it.

There is only one slight problem with xbox live. If you do not have internet connection from the room you are playing in, then it may become costly. You would have to get a game adapter, a wireless modem, and a bunch of other connections. This alone boosts the price up to somewhere you cannot afford.

All in all, this product is fabulous and recommend it to people who feel lonely playing with AI all the time. Isn't time for another challenge. Maybe someone that is actually real and can be more of a challenge.

You decide.

5-0 out of 5 stars This RULES but bundle with a new game already, PLEASE!
Before I get to all the good stuff. It would be nice if XBOX bundled with a different game already!!!We all have that game, we all need another headset, we all need to renew. So bundle with a new game!(I realize this needs to be said to XBOX not Amazon, but they probably read these reviews.)

XBOX Live is the greatest thing that ever happened to video games! You will find your self not even finishing games because online play is so much fun and addicting. No matter how sophisticated developers make the ai, it can never compare to human intelligence and challenge. After playing online you will go back to the game campaign with new skill.Xbox live adds an infinite amount of life to games. Some games have a much more advanced Live experience then others, ie. Halo2 with matchmaking and ranking systems, that really adds to the experience and playability.

Guarantee...You will spend way too much time playing Live! The house could catch fire and you will not put the controller down. You will find yourself thinking about yesterdays matches while you should be thinking about your work/school.You will be so wired, sleeping is just not an option.Your sex life will go down the tubes, unless she plays Live with you (let her win, and don't tell her she sucks.)You will forget you have kids.Dinner, what for? What day is it? Yes this will happen to you.

Be aware (in all games) for cheaters and those that taunt, swear and spray racist comments. This is a problem with the Human race not XBOX Live. Some people can really get carried away and ruin the experience for all of us.

5-0 out of 5 stars An online multiplayer revolution for Xbox!
A multiplayer revolution has arrived on Xbox. Xbox Live!

When i first got Xbox live i thought that it would be a hassle to set up. I was totally wrong. In a matter of ten minutes it all set up and ready to play.

All you basically have to do is ask your parents or if you are a parent, you have to type in your credit card number. You then have to fill out a lot of personal information about yourself, which might feel uncomfortable, but it is actually perfectly safe and is well worth it.

Xbox Live might also be a little bit pricy as it can add up to over $150 if you need a wireless router also including the headset and subscription card. But one thing i think people are unsure about is if you really do need to pay a certain amount of money per month. Heres how it goes.

If you buy the subscription card, once it runs out you can either go by another year long subscription card OR start paying for it per month. If you buy a subscription card, you do not have to pay $6 per month, so it actually ends up being a good deal.

As far as the performance of Xbox Live, i think it is amazing and truely worth your money. Most of the games now a days support the Xbox Live feature. You can also download content onto games via Xbox Live. Trash talking your opponents is awesome and hilarious also, all though they get ticked off if you do it to much, so its not recommended all the time. But i was also surprised in how good the communicator headset quality was in terms of hearing and talking to people. However, the headset can break easily if you step on it making it sometimes a money waster.

You can also have a friends list where you can list all of your friends. Any time you want you can message them or invite them to a game which can make it much more fun also.

One problem with Xbox Live is that it can lag/disconnect depending on which game you are playing. If you are playing games like Mortal Kombat Deception, it can disconnect quite freqently which can get very annoying. Lag appears on almost every game you play once in a while. But on the other hand games like Halo 2 and Mech Assault are almost perfect in terms of it not disconnecting or lagging, so it all depends on which game you are playing.

Xbox Live requires a High speed or broadband internet service, cable or DSL modem, Ethernet cord, subscription to Xbox Live and a game that is Xbox Live-enabled.

You can simply quick quick match which throws you into any customized game no matter what game you are playing, or you can customize the rules that you want by pressing a on optimatch. I prefer optimatch in my opinion.

The last problem with Xbox live is that once you create a gamertag, you are stuck with that one for the rest of your subscription until you make a new one. This can be a problem if you start to go off your gamertag and are desperate for another. But that is hardly an issue to complain about as the high performance and great quality makes up for that.

In conclusion, Xbox Live is a must have for all Xbox Console owners. I got it, and straight after my friends realized how fun it was, and they loved it as well and bought it within a week!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Product!
Bought this for my 6 year old gaming/tv freak, very sturdy construction with no worries of tipping the 27 inch tv. Currently we have a DVD/VCR combo on the second shelf and a GameCube on the bottom. The only problem we have had is the spacing slats that hold the DVD's in place don't hold them tightly enough and they sometimes fall off of the stand. Easy to put together and even easier to keep clean.

5-0 out of 5 stars way way better than the first 2!
this video game center is way better than the first 2 video centers from step2, this one fits all my ps2 and gamecube games perfectly and neat, the other two are more old fashioned and don't fit ps2, gamcube, and dvds like this one does.this game center is real strong the other 2 are'nt. my 27 inch tv fits good and looks nice on the game center. and the other bad thing bout the other two video game centers is you can only fit 19 inch or smaller tvs on them and if your a real gamer you would want a bigger tv cause your games look alot better. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great
First of all, let my point out that mine came with demos of crimson skies and mech assault and the full version of xbox classic arcade.Mine was new in the certified microsoft box, etc.Maybe they just updated the games.

Anyways, it is in my opinion a better deal to buy the 12-month pack, but I decided on the 3-month just because I've got the 2-month trial already and didn't want 14 months built up.

In the box:There's the communicator headset, a 3-month subscription card, the game discs, and several manuals on connecting to xbox live.

The communicator:Purely awesome.I have read many people's comments saying that it breaks at the little clip.I grant it that the clip is thin and could potentially break easily, but it is not uber fragile.Don't be afraid to put it on.The headset weighs next to nothing and is really comfortable. It has great outgoing voice quality and great sound quality through the speaker.

Xbox Live Itself:Do you have broadband?Do you have a router and a switch or hub if needed? If the answers are both yes, you need xbox live.It is incredible.

Buy this or the 12-month kit if you are just starting (but don't forget to start your account first with the free 2 months. After you have live already, renew with the subscription card. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A gamer's must
I used the non-electronic Game-dr. for a year and had to buy the electronic one. If your a gamer and want to resurface your old scatched cds I highly recommend it. Most of the pople who gave this bad reviews probably resurfaced it too much or didnt buy a new resurfacing disk. All my games and Cds that didnt work work excellent now.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Real Deal
I did a lot of research on this product before deciding to purchase it, but with all the negative reviews posted i was real hesitant.I finally decided to throw caution to the wind and buy it.I needed something to repair my X-Box games that were deeply scratched and would not even boot up.After getting the game doctor i choose a game that i did not cared about loseing.I followed the directions to the letter and put my game in the system and turned it on, and just like magic it booted flawlessly!!I would recomend this product to any one with the same delema.

1-0 out of 5 stars Lame Doctor This Sucks

1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth your money...
I love playing DDR Ultramix 2 and have been looking around for a replacement soft pad for some time, my original Konami pad still works but is starting to have some problems. My quest for a new pad started with the Red Octane Ignition 2.0 pad but after returning 3 of them to the store due to the down arrows not functioning after about a week I figured I may as well buy something cheaper if it isn't going to be as good as my Konami pad has been.

So I picked up this pad and was hoping that it would at least function as good as my now failing Konami pad but that isn't nearly the case.I've used this pad for two days and it's now going to stay in the closet for emergency only. The arrows are unresponsive and when they do register, they're not as fast as other pads I've used.I've been used to getting 200+ combos on standard difficulty on most of the songs and with this pad I'm lucky if I can get a 20 combo on the easier songs.

The pad also seems to be a bit more narrow than others I've used which threw me off a little at first but wasn't too hard to adjust to since the difference isn't really that great.

I always wear socks when using my Konami pad and I would not recommend doing that with this pad.The top and bottom of the pad seem to slide on eachother and a couple times that almost caused me to lose my balance. With bare feet it isn't quite so bad but it is still uncomfortable and you still need to be more careful than you would with the standard Konami pad.

I really wish that Konami sold their soft pads seperately because that's about the only soft pad I've used that has held up for any amount of time and worked great. When my Konami pad finally does become too damaged to function anymore I don't know what I'm going to do, but I surely won't turn to Intec for a solution. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth your money, at all!
This is probobly one of the best dance pads so far every created. However, there are only a couple dance pads that are REALLY good. Whats of course good about it, is that it is wireless and the mat can be pretty far from your tv, so you don't need a cord or anything like that. However, it is only $30-$40 (depending on which game retailer you buy it from) hinting that it will not be the greatest mats ever created.

For one thing, it tends to slide a lot on the ground when you are dancing, which can be a really big hassle when every game you are up from your pad moving it. With other pads like the metal dance pad, or red octain ignition dance pad, the pads hardly slide at all until your about a few years into them. (Well, maybe thats not the case for the metal dance pad, thats just a ripoff, it costs $500 and it breaks in about three months, but it is definetely the case with the red octane ignition dance pad.)

The second problem with the wireless dance mat is that you have to push a little bit harder on the arrows to make it completely work. This can be a pain in the behind as well when your playing on "heavy" difficulty and you have arrows swarming at you, and you have to worry about how hard you have to push on your dance pad, this should not be the case. The red octane ignition dance pad and the metal dance pad have perfect made arrow buttons, making it very easy to just even lightly tap the arrows with your feet and it will appear perfectly on the screen.

The last problem with this dance mat is that it is made up of hard plastic. This means that it can be very easy to break especially when your dancing like crazy and your pushing pretty hard on the arrows. This can be another huge problem as you have to of course buy another one, and BOOM! $30-$40 wasted on a trashy dance mat.

In conclusion, for all DDR Lovers, i would definetely NOT recomend buying this mat when there are so many others that you can pick from, and much better quality as well. This might be the mat that comes with the game, so i guess that you are forced to use it until you buy another one, but if that is not the case, this mat is definetely not worth your money!

5-0 out of 5 stars Ver y good
For 40 dollars its a very good mat. I"m guessing it will last for about a year or 2 which is very good for 40 dollars. I CANT WAIT FOR DDR 2! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Who cares about the game
This is one of the worst games ever released for xbox, but thats not the point, the point to buy this game is that its the only way to transfer music and videos to you xbox without hacking it. So this is definately a primo choice for only 9 bucks. So if you want to transfer files to your xbox this is your one and only choice w/ out voiding your warrenty. Definate a worthy buy.

1-0 out of 5 stars What a POS, do NOT waste your time
I was hoping to find a simple way to play mp3s across a network on the xbox. This product looked promising. I realized that it would not stream the music from a share but rather require importing, however I thought I would give it a try.

What a horrible, horrible product. I am giving it one star becauae it at least has potential.

Microsoft, listen up. This product sucks. Its interface is horrible, its too cludgy, doing simple things are not simple.

For instance, transfering songs onto the unit works with id3 tags. I hate this. Let it work with file names for frig sakes. I dont want to sort by album or genre, I want to be able to sort by folder!

Piece of crap. [...]

1-0 out of 5 stars Avoid; Pricey and Disapointing
Terrible in almost every way. Not HD (as claimed), ugly UI, overpriced and poor quality karaoke tracks, difficult to use, and poorly integrated with existing Windows networks. This is a product that cries out for seamless integration with your home music library which the current Xbox deliberately avoids. The few karaoke tracks that are available are overpriced and not what anyone really wants to play with anyway. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Poor product
This is the worst product I have ever bought. I just picked up one of these and after ripping open the package found that the battery cover was missing. This irritated me but once I plugged the unit in, I was infuriated, the controls are sloppy and erratic and the range of the unit is horrible. I strongly advise anyone looking for a wireless Xbox controller to pay the extra ten 15 bucks and get one that works.

4-0 out of 5 stars not good at all
Initially it looks like a pretty good controller for the price. fairly confortable, small, doesn't look too bad.Battery life is not too bad either.The analog sticks are a little too long, so its too easy to move it around, which can cause problems if you want to press them (for the stick buttons), since you'll accidently move the stick while pressing it.Here is the really bad part, wireless range is horrible, it is RF but if you're blocked by any object you may lose connection.2nd the left analog stick after playing with it for a couple of weeks, starts to go bad.It will move by itself, i.e. leaving it in the center, doesn't really center it in the game, probably some calibration problem.I thought i was just unlucky and got a defected one, but my replacement has the same problem now too.Just very badly designed and tested, i suppose. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars {BEST SNOWBOARDING GAME FOR XBOX!}
I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of Snowboarding games, until I played the demo to Transworld Snowboarding! Then I bought it, and I was convinced, when you learn this game, you'll be hooked.Jib and grind just like the pros.Perfect your misty flips and switch backside 180's in freestyle, pipe and boarder rally events - or float through deep, untouched powder in the backcountry.Trick and huck off all kinds of kickers, tables, cliffs, icy chutes, even downed trees! All contained in 17 true-to-life locations around the world!Plus get a music video of "Bring Me Down" by:Apulanta, and you can slide to the music on the game, or play to your custom soundtrack!

4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad. Not great.
More arcade than Amped, but still a simulation.

Great music, and can change music tracks on the fly.

There are plenty of obstacles to maneuver and rails to grind.

Lot of explorations, with secret areas.

Blood spatters when you wipe out on powder, but you can hit a ski lift post no problem.

Impressive graphics.

There are occasional technical glitches, such as clipping and some framerate issues.

The controls are a little different than other games. You use the left thumb-stick to rotate and turn, while the right is used to make different board grabs. This is an good setup for the easier moves, but can get a bit tricky when performing the advanced.

5-0 out of 5 stars Top 10 XBox Title
I do not understand why this game is not in the top 10 of all XBox titles. This game is absolutely amazing. The graphics are stunning. The gameplay is great. You can do spins to the left or right. After jumping you can even do backward flips. The speed seems plenty fast most of the time but if you are in far a challenge you can hit the X button to go really fast.I like Amped but Amped seems slow compared to this game.My 5 year old loves SSX Tricky but is now enjoying this game.I highly recommend this game. ...
