Really Expected More
Santa brought Annabelle to our 4 year old daughter for Christmas.The milk in the Magic milk bottle was dried up upon receipt.Because of it being the week of Christmas we opted to keep the doll and exchange the bottle.The people at Zapf creations were quite curteous, but very disorganized.After several phone calls we did recieve the replacement bottle 6-8 weeks later. You can imagine for a 4 year old it could have been a year; our daughter was very concerned because she was convinced the baby was hungry as there was no milk in the bottle!We tried to find one locally, but they were out of stock everywhere we looked.

After about 2 wks a square piece came off of the back of the bdoll's skull.This was really quite frustrating.As you can imagine at this point we still didn't have a bottle.We were feeling very disappointed as we felt we had paid a premium price for a special toy from Santa along with many of the accesories for our daughter and it really didn't seem to be measuring up to our expectations.

The doll is very cute and her movements are life-like; although, you can hear the mechanism when she drinks the bottle, but this doesn't seem to bother our daughter.My greatest disappointment was in the clothes.The outfits are nearly the cost of real baby clothes, and made very cheaply in my opinion.Several of the outfits we bought were made of terry and the balled up right away.The fact that the closures are velcro just made it worse as the velcro sticks to all the clothes when you store them and they begin to look ragedy almost immediately.

Should I buy this doll?
Its my Birthday in 5 more days,I know that my family members will give me money and im planning to buy baby annabell.Im going to turn 12 i know im kinda of old for baby dolls but hey there fun.I bought a rock a bye chou chou and i love it but i want another baby so i want annabell.It has mouth movement which i think is AWESOME.I read all 100+ reviews some i was touched and some well....not touched.There was one review where there was a 12 year old girl who was going to recieve this doll she made everything for her babyAnd she loved the baby when it came.Im pretty positive i will buy annabell if so i will write a review after my purchase

This is a must that you have to put in your shopping trolley. She is amazing. Baby Annabell is a very realistic doll with a cute romper set with a matching hat and sheep toy. She comes with a magic milk bottle and cute dummy on clip. She does many things, including) cry, drink and burp just like a new baby. All children would get so many hours of use out of her. If you are expecting a baby or are planning one this is a lovely doll to choose for your already born child, girl or boy. They can play with Baby Annabell and feel that they are being a little mum/dad too. I have the old version and the new white and black versions as I am in love with her. I also have Love me chou chou and baby born which are cool too. Baby Born is the best our of the three dolls but if ur darling has these Annabell is the next best thing. Great Toy
I had read a lot of reviews on this toy. My husband and I purchased this for our 4 year old daughter. It took us awhile to finally decide. What a great toy and made very well. The battery last very long. I just let her play with it and the end of the day we take in the battery and recharge it. She loves it! It does spin wheels are certain surfaces,but she has figure it out back and it up a little and move forward again. We are glad that we decided to get it and it made her birtday complete.

We love this truck, my daughter just got this Barbie Jeep for her 3rd Birthday and she is just thrilled with her new toy. Assembly was a bit more work then the reviews made it out to be. My first thought was to let the store put it together but after reading the reviews on this website that said it was "quick+easy" my husband and I decided to give it a try. It took about two hours (we took a few break's.)
We took our daughter to abig field where she could practice her steering and get a feel for the gas pedal.
This toy also has great developmental benefits such as eye-hand & eye-foot coordination. It also helps to stimulate their imagination.

great fun for all kids
I loved this jeep it fit's two kid's witch is great so if your child has a friend over they will not feel left out my daughter drive's her 2yr ols brother around in this jeep all the time they drive it every wher. My 2yr old climb's on it all the time is very durable I have even drive it. It is alot of fun and it help's my daughter how to pay attention to wear she is going sence she has to watch where she is driving. I would recomend this jeep to anyone it is well worth the money

great buy
my twins werea little over 1 when they got these and they have ridden the heck out of them since then. they loved them! they are now two and are finding them a little slow. we'll move up to the 5 mph now.

What a Ride!!!
My husband drives a motorcycle, and our son loves to "ride." We happened upon this motorcycle in Toys R Us, and we could not leave the store without buying it! I took the model down to see if it was not too big, and he screamed the moment we took him off. I had everyone in the store looking at me!!! Somewhat disappointed Mom
We bought these dolls as a present for our 6 year old. It was cute at first with all of the little sayings but after a while, our daughter got bored with it. The stroller is not good at all. The straps are hard to put on and they don't stay on for a long time. Overall, don't pay for these dolls full price. It's not really worth it.

I was a sucker!
I bought these dolls for my daughters 4th Christmas.She has now had them for about 1 year 1/2.I paid full price for these dolls when they first came out, so I have many complaints about them.(...)1 1/2 years later they did not last.First, the stroller is junk, as you may all have found out (the straps, the tray pegs, and her seats never stayed on). My main objective with these dolls is the boys head popped off after the first year.Now she did play with her babies as she called them, and she did just that, treated them like babies.She was not rough with them at all.Overall she did love playing with them.I hope all of you have better luck with them.

Baby's head fell off!

This is a good learning toy
My daughter loves Disney Princesses and she wants to get on my computer sometimes but is still too young to do things herself,so I got her this and she loves it!! She has learned quite a few things from it also. It is very durable, I think you get your money's worth. It makes them feel so big!!

Great learning toy
I bought this laptop for my daughter's 3rd Birthday.I think she has used it everyday since then.It really helps her learn her letters.She knows just about all of them now, after using it for about 3 months.I like that it is teaching her but she is having fun at the same time.She really enjoys playing with it.She says she is going to check her email when she uses it.There is a volume control, which is good.It also seems very durable.I haven't had any problems with it so far.I would definately recommend this toy for any little girl.

To The Recue...From Boredom!
This is one of my daughter's favorite My First Leappad books.The story is fairly simple.Dora and Boots find a lost baby blue bird and precede to return it to its mother.My daughter really enjoys the story, though.The book is very colorful and there are a lot of activities that would interest a toddler, especially music from the show.If you're only going to get a few of the My First Leappad books, I would put this one at the top of your list, especially if you're child likes Dora The Explorer.

Teaches young kids

My daughter is 7 1/2 , and she just loves this doll. She has not put her down. The functions she does are great for girls to learn. She is not hard to clean, she knows how to do it herself. It was worth the money!!!! You will not go wrong with this doll. .

Not for 2 to early 7 year olds
I was looking for the doll my daughter wanted for Christmas and I knew it was a Baby Born doll. I went ahead and ordered the doll from this site and was content that I could give her something she wanted for once. Well I started to thinking about accessories for the doll when I look down and see "Reviews". Having bought the doll already I figured the reviews would say something nice about the doll. What I read was reviews from mothers with children ages 2 to just turning 7 year olds playing with this doll and having a hard time. Some say they bought the doll to potty train and others say they bought the doll because they have a new arrival on the way and wanted the child to not feel left out or know how it was gonna be when the new baby comes home. Whatever the reasons I was shocked and thought about canceling my order. I mean I had spent $62.99 on this doll with bag and the reviews were horrible for the majority of them. But then I saw girls that are 7 turning 8 and 10 to 14 years olds writing in saying they love the doll. They love that she eats her own food and actully drinks from her bottle and does #1 and 2, and that she cries (even if you had to sqeeze her wrist to make it happen) and that the only thing they wanted more on the doll was that she be softer (but then again they wrote that if she were softer she would not be able to eat or drink real things) and that she somehow would cry and giggle and do all the things Chou Chou and Baby Anabelle do and still be able to eat and drink real things. Besides these two wants they adored this doll. For me this was GREAT news because my daughter will be 8 in January and she wants this doll so badly. But she is OLD enough to know how to function the doll, where as 2 and just turning 7 years olds have much harder times and give up as all the mothers that returned the doll said their children did. My advice: Buy a Rock-A-Bye Chou Chou or a Baby Anabelle for children 2 to just turning 7. Leave Baby Born for the turning 8 to 14 crowd as this doll is CLEARLY made for them. ... Read more

Perfect Birthday Gift
I purchased the Happy Birthday Barbie for my friend's five year old daughter's birthday. She is Barbie obsessed, so I had a feeling she would enjoy celebrating her birthday with Barbie. Needless to say, this Barbie was very well received.

I combined Happy Birthday Barbie with a child sized dress up tiara and it made a great combo. The birthday girl wore her tiara and looked "just like Barbie".

My daughter LOVES her Dora doll!!
My daughter received this as a Christmas gift when she was 8 months old.It was love at first sight.She is now a year old and hugs, kisses and chit chats with her doll.She has dropped the doll a couple of times off of her high chair and the doll is still in superb shape.Plus, the doll's hair is easily combed (as it needs to be after beiing handled by an infant having her lunch).

Disappointed
This toy was OK right up until some body gave Dora an extra manual twist... Now Dora does not twist or dance anymore... That is 50% of the fun.Her vocabulary is very limited. My husband threw away the box the next day and now I can not return it. One positive comment-My grand daughter did learn how to say Pink in spanish.

Very Disappointed!!!!
Half the time Dora doesn't even know what little friend she's holding ,that is if my daughter can find them!!! Most of the time Dora repeats her words over and over and over again like a broken record!! She is a huge Dora fan but has lost all interest in this toy. Wish I could get my money back.

For Dora Fans
I bought this for my girlfriend's 3 year old and she absolutely loves it. She takes it with her to school every day. She already learned the little song that Dora sings and knows how to switch Dora's friends on the palm of her hand, herself. It's a good idea to keep Dora's friends always in your sight because once lost the doll will loose some of it's coolness. But I'm happy that I could make a 3 year old jump for joy. Great gift idea for a little Dora fan.

This toy is a waste of money....do not buy it!
After opening this toy that Santa brought for my 3 year old (no small feat with the master degree holding packaging engineers securing each and every extremity and accessory piece with a wire), and playing with it for a few minutes, I immediately started to wonder why I couldn't get the toy to say the 30 phrases the box promised.My husband suggested that maybe there is a Spanish mode, but there is no "Spanish" button to be found.Additionally, I too thought for the price paid, the manufacturer could have included Dora's backpack to keep her "friends" in.
As another reviewer stated, I can only get the doll to say 8 phrases unless hola and adios count each as 1, then we're up to 10.
Furthermore, the weight of this doll, if launched, will surely break a window, dent a wood floor or cause a concussion in an innocent sibling standing by.
It should go without saying that this is going back as it doesn't do what is promised on the package. ... Read more

Great Toy
I read all the previous reviews and I was concerned about things falling off the castle.However, the only thing that comes apart is the attachable heart and sometimes one side of the hot air balloon which is easy to attach by an adult.I have a 2 1/2 year old and she is not destructive and she LOVES this toy.I think you should disregard all the negative reviews and PURCHASE this toy.I have not regretted it in the month we have had it.The Dance Studio is great, too.
If your child loves My Little Pony then, you HAVE to BUY the CASTLE.

This toy is a piece of junk.Keeps falling apart.Would not recommend this toy to anyone.

I have to give this castle an A + for how it looks.It is just plain cute!The castle comes with some very fun playing pieces, flower pot, kitchen sink that the ponies can open with their magnetic hooves, and, plates and forks that are fun.Cute design.The poor aspects of this toy are: It is poorly manufactured and I was close to taking it back until I decided to super glue the pieces on.After that, I was much more satisfied with the overall product.We threw out the crown - piece of junk that you couldn't wear anyway and the hot air balloon was tossed because it was "tired" looking but I kept the basket part the balloon went on so the ponies could stand on top of the castle.We have a little bit of difficulty getting the music to play when the pony steps on the platform and the stickers were out of control!I am hesitant to buy my little pony playsets, but we love the quality of the ponies themselves and my daugher who is 4 and I have spent a lot of time braiding the ponies hair and brushing them to look cute!Should have bought more ponies instead of the castle... ... WONDERFUL starter bike!
The Easter Bunny :) left this bike at our house, since our very-tall 3.5 year old was past outgrowing her small plastic trike.She had the idea within about 10 minutes, and is now riding like a pro.We've had no problem with the training wheels not turning, and the kickstand isn't an issue.For younger kids, one main source of confusion/frustration is that pedaling backwards=stopping!We're still working on that aspect...I will be highly recommending this bike to any toddler-parents looking to move up from a starter trike.

Great Bike!
My daughter recieved this bike (16") for her 4th birthday and she absolutely loves it.She is on the smaller side for her age, but with the seat all the way down, her legs fit just about perfectly.I have not had any problems with the training wheels not turning.The turn just fine.It doesn't come with a kickstand, but once she learns to ride it without training wheels, I can buy one for under $10.

Its a great starter bike and one that she can use for several years- unlike the 12" ones that only last a year or two before they are too big for it.

Training Wheels Tame the Fun
Bicycle was very easy to assemble. My daughter still requires training wheels. The training wheels provided do not rotate, and do not have a rotating axle within a hub. Loosen the nut, and the wheel rotation will unscrew the nut and off comes the wheel. Tighten the nut and presto side by side brakes engaged full-time.
We'll see if Huffy has a (complimentary) fix (i.e. real training wheels). ... Read more

Look elsewhere!
Bought this for our 4 year old.After giving up on the knee and elbow pads, she let her 2 year old sister have them and they were too small and uncomfortable for even her to just try on.The helmet does fit her head but is uncomfortable with the way the straps are oriented.I chose this one because it was pretty and I knew she would like the princess but perhaps it is just too cheaply made.She wants to wear it but gets frustrated with it and takes it off and actually stopped wanting to ride her bike because of the helmet.We went to a bike shop and had them help her pick out one she liked (sorry no princesses) and made sure it was comfortable.And she is now, back on her bike. No value here.

This fits my 23 month old very well after tightenning up the straps a bit -- she's bigger than average for her age.

Not happy with this purchase.
My daughter was very excited to receive this, anything Princess is OK in her book.But I was not so happy.The helmet was a little too big for her, which is odd, because she has a pretty big head.But the knee and elbow bads are completely useless.I agree with the reviewer who said that they wouldn't even fit an infant.I couldn't even get them on my child's limbs, and she is a normal sized child.Then, when I had to return this, my daughter was VERY upset because now her helmet/pads do not have Princesses on them.This was not a good purchase. ... Not as good as it seems
We bought this toy for our daughter a little over 1 year ago. My children are not the kind of children that are destructive to toys.In fact this Barbie house is the only broken toy in our house.Here is a list of the problems that we have had.
1.Both knobs are forever broken from the drawers
2.One drawer has a cracked front and the other has a craked back so the drawers don't hold anything. My daugher didn't do anything to cause the breakage
4.The floor pieces of the house are actually cardboard which warped rather quickly which causes alot of the furniture to fall- this as you can imagine causes frustration
5.Mostly my daughter uses the house as storage and when she wants to play she takes the things out of it
This is a really neat toy that has turned out to be a great disappointment and waste of space.I do not recommend this toy and am currently planning on building something simular but with good quality and sturdy materials that can last longer than 1 year.

BIG, WELL MADE, & MY KIDS LOVE IT
This is big, well made and heavy.The packaging was perfect and even after being mailed to Japan it arrived in wonderful condition.The only two things I am not pleased with are the unfinished ceilings... I'll paint them myself since they are just plain brown waferboard.A coat of white paint or another pastel will help also to lighten up the rooms.Also, the Barbie front of the pitched roof has some blemishes.Otherwise, I'm very impressed with the quality and the size is very impressive.I didn't have any warpage or bowed wood and the drawers fit together nicely.

Great Concept
I just Purchased this toy for my 3yr old daughter. After reading many reviews on this site, I decided to assemble the toy 5 days before Christmas. I work night shift and will be working Christmas Eve, so I didn't want to wait incase there were any problems. Well....where do I put it now? It is HUGE!!! Luckily we are moving next week so I have boxes sitting around. I was able to hide it behind a dining room table and a hutch with boxes up the side. The toy itself looks great. Assembly by myself took 30 mins. A phillips (+) screwdriver is all you need. I decided to put wood glue on the dowels when I installed them, for added strength. Instructions were good. Text and pictures were a little small. I did not experience any warping with the floors as other reviewers noted. I did notice that if the box is leaned against something for a long period of time the wood frames may bow from the weight of the contents. My solution was to unpack the contents and inspect for any bowing. If there are any parts that are bowed lay them flat on hardground first and stack the rest of the contents on top of them. Do this in a warm room of the house. Let go for 2 or 3 days. This should straighten any bows. My only complaint is concerning the view from a kids eyes. If you look at the picture you see the walls and the floors and they look great. But a little kid will be looking directly at or up at this toy. The ceiling of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd story are plain unfinished wafer board. I wish they would have made a ceiling pattern on the underside of the floors. Awesome sooter
THis scooter is awesom. You get to stay inside watching tv while the kids and thier yacking sy outside. You also dont have to worry about them hurting themselves on it and you have to spend countless hours in the hospital room for a broken arm during a football game with your favorite team. This scooter exercises your fat kids, keeps them out of your hair and is safe. I read the other reviews and they say it is unstable. That is because thier kids are to fat and even a solid concrete slab can become unstable with a fat kid.

Fun, but too small!
My daughter received this scooter when she was 4 years old, and it was too small to begin with.This did not stop her from riding it, and she definitely required the three wheels.My daughter is tall for her age, so I may have trouble finding the same type of scooter that is larger.She could not fit two feet comfortably on this scooter.She just gave it to her 3 yr old cousin, for which the toy is sized more appropriately.

As for blaming the scooter for unbalanced falls, more parental supervision would be the answer, don't discredit the scooter, it's perfectly fine...just too small.

BEWARE OF THE DANGERS OF THIS SCOOTER!! NOT STABLE!
This may be a really cute scooter but it is not as safe as you might think! MY 3 1/2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WAS HURT BADLY THE FIRST TIME SHE USED THIS SCOOTER! The age range starting at age 3 I think is TOO YOUNG! This scooter has 1 wheel in front & 2 in the back. When a child goes to turn this scooter the front wheel tips to the the side throwing the child off balance. The scooter falls to the ground and the child falls with it. The wide handle bars have hard plastic on the ends. IT IS NOT A WELL BALANCED SCOOTER! My daughter went to turn this scooter and the scooter tipped & fell and she fell too - THE HARD PLASTIC BARS WENT RIGHT INTO HER MOUTH - CUTTING HER LIP & PUSHING HER FRONT TEETH IN! IT CAUSED REALLY BAD BRUISING INSIDE HER MOUTH & HER FRONT TEETH ARE IN DANGER OF DYING & HAVING TO BE TAKEN OUT! I AM SO UPSET WITH DISNEY FOR PROMOTING THIS SCOOTER TO AGES 3 AND UP. After my daughters accident I examined this scooter. Everytime I turned it the scooter tended to tip in the direction it was being turned. Unless a child manages to hold the handle bars totally level & straight - it is going to tip & throw the child off balance. A 3 year olds instinct when turning is to lean in the direction they are turning which with this scooter will make the child fall. The wheel size & structure of this scooter I think is the cause of this problem. In my daughters case she was hurt badly. PLEASE USE CAUTION when purchasing this scooter. Lots of Polly Pocket Fun - But needs an "off" switch
My daughters received this toy for Christmas and have spent a lot of time playing with it.It is a little difficult to get the dogs to jump through the hoop but with help of the magnets on their feet, they can really do it!When they land on the other side of the hoop, music plays ("Ta-da!!!") and it is a little overly sensitive.You barely touch it and the music plays - it gets annoying after a while and you can't turn it off unless you pull the batteries out.I have a feeling that my daughters will be asking to do that very soon, because even they are getting tired of the repetitious noise.

polly pocket lovers
My daughter (age 7) is really into Polly Pocket and LOVED this one. She thought the tiny puppies were cute and they perform tricks! Great gift for the animal/Polly lover in the family!

how cute-hurrah for the power of magnets
this is realy cute and fun. i love the magnet bone..you can make two dogs play tug of war and roll over with it. its a neat toy that -as most polly pockets have, alot of variety in activities and features. my only complaint is, once you pull the plastic tab for the barking dog platform, be prepared for super-sensitivity, non stop annoying barking. every time the wind blows,this thing barks! hope the battery dies soon. ... perfect
my sister got this for christmas and i have to say it is durable.we live in a remote part of the country, and she took that jeep over 3 alfalfa fields, and two streems and brought it back covered in mud.She was so happy.and it's perfect because she is always wanting to drive my mom's car. :)

Great buy
Great bike. Runs great on grass. It's acutally pretty fast. My husband and I like that it STOPS when our daughter takes her foot off the gas, instead of continuing to coast.

My Child's First Car
My husband and I just got this Jeep for my daughter's second birthday.My daughter was THRILLED to say the least when she seen her "new car."She is a little above average height for her age (a little over 36 inches) and she was able to reach the pedal just fine.She has had it for 2 days now and has gotten pretty good with steering it.I highly recommend taking your child to an open field where they can practice without mowing down pedestrians.:)I gave this Jeep 3 stars for durability because we have only had it for two days and that is not an adaquite amount of time to fully judge it's durablity.However, my daughter id ride it around are small kitchen and hit the stove, chairs, and wall a few times and the Jeep was fine.This Jeep goes over grass, gravel, concrete, and just about anything!We were wuite surprised because we thought she would be getting stuck a lot and we'd have to do a lot of pushing.We had Toys R Us put together the Jeep because though my husband is quite the handyman, he just didn't have hours to put aside to asemble the Jeep.Toys R Us forgot to give us the instruction sheets so when we brought it home, we just winged it.It is very simple to operate, there's one pedal on the right that the child pushes to make the Jeep go forward.By pressing a botton near the cup holder by the floor, the child can make it go in reverse.We haven't showed her how to go in reverse yet because we want her to be able to feel comfortable going forward first.Without having an instruction sheet, we had no idea how long to charge the battery.We ended charging it for about eight hours.We intent on calling Toys R Us to get all the instruction sheets that come with the Jeep that we never recieved.Well I guess we didn't charge the battery long enough because it died about 2 hours later.Our daughter was so upset, she thought she had broken her "new car."So, my husband actually had to push her home in the Jeep-and the Jeep is not light.We fully intend on buying an extra battery and charger so that never happens.I highly recommend it for all of you who want to buy this Jeep for your child.I thought it to be educational because it teaches my daughter forward, backwards, left, and right and improves her motor skills.And fun?This toy is a definite 5 STARS!We could not keep her off of the Jeep.She was the envy of all the kids in the park.This Jeep is a definite MUST HAVE! ... Excellent toy for TODDLERS
I'm a mother of two girls one 6 and a half and one two and a half. Originally I bought this for my older daughter who was 4 at the time she just loves princess everything so this toy was perfect. But now my 2 year old thinks it's hers. She rides it around so well. She is very petite for her age and this toy still accomidates her well. This toy was so worth the money both of my daughters love it. The little basket in the front is so useful. This is definitely the toy for those little girls who love the disney princesses, I actually just bought the 12 inch princess bike for my 2 year old to match the scooter!

Much too slow, has problems with any incline.
I bought this for my 5 year old daughter who is a light weight, but it is so slow even my skinny 3 year old son cannot get it up the smallest incline.I bought it with an extra battery but what a waste of money.My 3 year old has the jeep and it is so much faster and goes for quite a good time all over the yard. Save your money and buy the jeep!!Wish I could return mine now but I do not have the receit and its been a couple months now.

Needs help.
I am in total agreement that Fisher Price Power Wheels is "sexist" as put by another reviewer above.These are much too slow, even for the most timid little girl!We took ours back and got our 3-year-old the Kawasaki for boys.It is sooo much better and I wish they would wake up and read these reviews and do something about it.I'd love to spend whatever to get my little girl a quad ride on that lets her keep up with her older brother on his!It's obvious a change should be made after reading all these reviews!Come on Fisher Price!

Great toy-but not worth the money
