awesome!!!
I would not have thought much of the item based on packaging but we received this as a gift and it is my 2 1/2-year old's favorite. She loves the thing. It is now one of our favorite gifts to give. I have not heard of any problems and all the parts are sturdy. It is very cute to see how every little girl 'knows' to sling it over her wrist (I don't carry my purse that way..) Although, we are as likely to find trains and matchbox cars inside as we are to find the lipstick. Definately a great little item!

Excellent!
My daughter got this purse for Christmas last year when she was 18 months old. She is still playing with it all of the time! She loves to take her purse everywhere, just like mommy does! :) She is so proud of her purse that she is constantly showing it to people. Her favorite things out of the purse are the lipstick, keys, and card case. She loves to put her own items in the purse as well. This is a very cute set!

I wanted to get my only little girl her own purse, so she could be like mommy... I have 4 children, 3 year old b/g twins, and 8 month old b/b twins. she got this purse when she was 18 months and she has some new "favorites", but this was a hit anyways. She loves the lipstick, and the sunglasses case (we bought her disney ones) and the mirror. But there are better ones out there, we bought her some chapstick and a little better "plastic" lipstick to keep in there, we supervise with capstick. The keys and phone are the only things she didnt pay attention to, because we have better ones. Great toy for children who love to dress up
and do their hair and all that good stuff...I have mine put together already assembled waiting to give it to them this Christmas because they both love dressing up and doing their hair and all that other girly stuff...Pretty cute but also kind of plain looking yet still fun...I agree the toy is very loud...the lights actually light up..I gave four stars for durability because it is pretty hard for me let alone young children to get the nail polish bottles out without actually just pulling the cap of the nailpolish bottle off and then you can't hear the phrase it has to go with it...Ours is a very tight fit and has to fit in perfectly...That is the only thing I think there will be aggravation with my children with this toy...The other pieces however fit into their places quite well and are easy to remove...It has very cute phrases and reminds them to clean up and put the items away when they are finished...Overall it is a cute item and I recommend it to anyone who has a child that loves to dress up and likes to play with makeup and all that girly stuff ... Swan Lake Costume
Purchased two of these 7 piece sets.Only have one issue with it.They are not 7 pieces.Both sets count the shoes individually and both were missing the matching headband.This is not a complete 7 piece set, it is a 6 piece set.

Swan Lake Costume...OK
I ordered this costume for my daugter's 5th birthday...we are having a ballet/Barbie of Swan Lake themed party.I like the dress.It is very pretty, but the slippers will never fit her feet.They say one size fits most and the suggested age for this costume is 3 and up.The slippers fit my 3 year old...my 5 year old wears 4 sizes larger in shoes...so I'd be willing to bet they won't stretch to her size...they are a satin material, not a stretchy material.The wand is not real impressive as far a quality or durability.And...we never received the headband that is pictured.(It really should have come with the swan tiara, which I had to purchase separately.) ... Is there a doctor in the house?
My now 5 year old got this toy for her 3rd birthday and she has not stopped playing with it-she loves to line up all her dolls and stuffed animals (sometimes even her 3 year old sister) in the "Waiting Room" to get their examinations and necessary shots. It is a MUST for any kid.

Almost perfect for little ones!
We go to the doctor quite often so I knew my 2 year old would get a kick out of this. However, like the other reviews, the case should be bigger and a bit more durable. Also, my son doesn't like to use the put the stethoscope over his ears because they are too tight and hurt his ears. I tried it myself and it really does hurt.

Great Durability & Value
I must have went to 5 different stores including my local Toys R Us in search of a "doctor kit" an none of the stores had one.I finally found one at a learning store for $17, but when I opened it the pieces were cheap plastic and didn't seem like it would last very long in the hands of my 2 yr old.I returned it and ordered this one on Amazon.com for a lot less and free shipping at the time.DS LOVES IT!It's Fisher Price, so you have an idea of the durable plastic. I fit all the pieces in the case without any trouble, so I don't know what all the complaints are about.I did put the body & eye charts away for when he's a little older since at this age he just wants to bend them, but that's not a big deal to me. I'm sure he'll be playing with this occasionally for years to come. This kit is just what I was hoping for.

I love this costume! I run around the house yelling spells from the books as I point my wand at couches, tables, desks, books, etc. I even cover the badge sometimes and put it over my head and pretend to be He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. This is the best costume I have!

Excellent buy for any Harry Potter fan!
This was a great find for my 6 yr old son. He loves Harry Potter and was thrilled with the robe, wand, glasses and stickers. The robe was a nice soft material, not that itchy stuff that costumes are usually made of.The glasses were made with real glass and metal, not cheap plastic.The wand is plastic, but still pretty durable.My son wore the scar tattoo and was thrilled he was "just like Harry Potter".

The costume came in a nice box, and for $13.88 was a great deal! My kids are still playing with it even after Halloween.

Great For Harry Potter Wannabe's
I purchased this as a halloween costume for my 5-yr old son and he absolutely loves it. He runs through the house casting spells with the wand that comes with it. The glasses are made with real glass lenses so you need to be carefull with them.The only problem we had with it was the clasps for the robe that came with the set were flimsy and the glue that is used to hold the decoration onto them is very weak. Our favorite gift to give
Our daughter received one of these wands when she was three years old and loved it. We have since bought a dozen and love giving them out as presents. They never fail to interest the kids and intrigue the parents.

The Kewlest Toy EVER
I got one of these tote bags when I was 13 (now 16). I have used it as a purse and the great thing about it is that every day, or whenever I feel like it, i can change it. the good thing about the good thing about that is that I don't have to buy a bunch of purses. I just have to redecorate my CLIKITS one. I think this is the GREATEST thing ever. I think everyone should have one!

If your kid's into this stuff, this is the thing to get
My kid loves this hat.It's soft and fully collapsible and has a velcro compartment for the bunny.It looks like something the Artful Dodger would wear when it's worn.Goes great with a Darth Vader cape.My kid made the white bunny disappear into the hat and totally confused our scottish terrier.To my dog, my kid is the Master Sorcerer.

My daughter received this magician's hat for her birthday, and has truly enjoyed performing magic tricks for all her friends, classmates, and visitors. You can't go wrong
whether your child loves superheroes or any kind of dress up - this is a winner!A great price, very comfortable and one of their favorites under the tree (we bought the Superman, too).My kids are 3 (slightly over 35 lbs.) and 5 - the fit is fine.They jut up just a bit at the shoulders, but since it is soft foam, not a hard plastic, this has no affect on their play or enjoyment.The capes are long for the shorter guys, but I haven't seen any tripping yet and they basically haven't taken them off since the 25th.If you think the length might cause a problem, the fabric is easily trimmed with scissors, there is no hem.

You can't lose with this one!!

Great buy for the Little person that loves Batman
My son got this for his fourth birthday.The costume is quite large for small children, but he did not care and it was amazing to see him play and grow into it.My son who is now eight, told me to write a review as we were looking at toy ideas for Christmas.He thought the costume was really fun to play with, and wanted other parents to know it would be a good gift for kids that liked batman.

The costume held up pretty well under many hours of crime fighting in our home.This was an excellent value for my son. He literrally spent hundreds of hours in this costume over the years. For the price, it will be hard to find a better value for your child. You will smile as you watch your child use their imagination, and play with their friends keeping your home safe from evil doers. very cool!
-the cape is good quality thick vinyl.(it is wide, but this has not bothered my five year old)
- the mask is awesome, its comfortable to wear and fits really well.the proportions are just right. (looks good on my husband too)
- the batarang is really neat, fun to play with and tuck into a pocket or pants.
- the chestplate is great, the criss-cross back makes it fit securely. (my son has it to the tightest adjustment so it may not sit snug against the chest of a 3 year old.)the lights and sounds are a bonus.
- the belt is not the best, the plastic is not all that flexible and it is too big even on the tightest adjustment.
overall a fun and good quality toy.

Holy worth it Batman!
My 4 yr old son is a total batman fan and of course was convinced that Batman (not santa) was going to bring him a cape for Christmas.Of course I thought the muscled set would work, but it was huge, so we found this one.Wow!Love it.The imagination that comes forth when this outfit is on is worth the money.

The mask is very cool. Its made out of a soft, rubbery plastic.It stays on very easily and seems comfortable for him.The chest plate talks if you press the bat on it - doen't activate unintentionally, so its not always talking...like that feature!The cape is okay.It has nice detail, but kind of hangs weird... hits too far away from the nape of his neck.It doesn't bother my son, just me.As for the chest plate... To keep the plate on you do need to adjust the straps and then criss cross them in the back across the shoulder blades,thenunder the arm pits... kind of like a baby bjorn baby carrier works.But it fit him after that and he's skinny.

The belt is c***.It looks bad. Its made bad (Warning you... really BAD) Hard to adjust.Not really made for young or thin people as the smallest setting was still too big. Even if it fit, it would be hard for them to adjust by themselves...I don't know if it would even stay on since its made of three pieces of tougher plastic with tiny pegs holding it together.Its so unappealing in every way imaginable.However they do make a really cool bat utility belt that isn't too expensive... I bought that once I saw this belt. Now with that belt the whole costume is really fantastic.

My son truly loves this and is very proud of it...so it was worth it even if I did need to buy a different belt. (that belt is really neat, check it out too...bat utility belt)

My son loves this set!
The belt didn't fit but that's okay because my son didn't want to wear it. The cape was too long and too wide but that's okay because we just wrapped it between the straps of the chest plate and then velcroed it to the chest plate. The chest plate was too big even on the smallest size setting but that's okay, we fixed it with a twist tie in the back. The cowl fit perfectly and my son refuses to take it off. The batarang is cool...it folds up so my son sticks it in his pocket of his pants. Overall, my 3 year old son LOVES this set and it has enough room to grow with him for years to come! ... Read more

Big hit with 4 year old
Bought this and the Batman playset for christmas for our 4 year old superhero lover. He still puts it on about 3 times a week and flys through the house saving the day. Great dress up set that lets him have even more fun with his imagination.
Set says young adult size.......but it is ok for play on 4 year old..he can get it on himself just needs help to tie in the back. The ties are starting to tear a little as he trys to take it off without untieing it.
I think this set was worth the money and would purchase more of them if they became available in different superheros.

On a fast track to medical school!
My twins first discovered a doctors kit right before they were going to get a shot, right after their 3rd birthday in February of this year. Thye loved it, and I knew I had to go buy one. I have a little tool builder kit like this too, so my kids really enjoy it, we have a "pretend" bin, it has costumes and toys like this in them. The smock is just adorable, they love it. You can fit all of the "doctors tools" in it. My kids like taking turns in wearing the stethescope, and the other one screams in it, hah. They play doctor on their dollies, stuffed animals, baby twin brothers and the dogs! I am actually online shopping for another one right now! The smock is also good for arts and crafts, we have one for them in nursery school, but only cloth ones at home. The parts are also big and pose no chocking hazard, unlike some of the other ones that have "band-aids" ion them, this is just the right one for toddlers, yours will love it!

Not happy
The description of this outfit says that the age range is 5 and up. When I received the item, the box says 3 and up and is much smaller than I expected it to be and it will not fit my grandaughter.I am very disappointed.

Pretty Butterfly
This is a very pretty dress up outfit but, the shoes are very small.This should be marketed for small girls <5, my daughter is petite and it is snug on her.

Not as advertised
Okay... First, this is advertised as for kids 5 and up.The ballet slippers don't even come close to fitting my 4 year old.We actually gave the slippers to our friend with a very tiny 3 year old girl and they just barely fit.This dress will not fit my daughter in more than a year.She's tall, but she's not big around and the dress is stretched to the max and the velcro just barely touches!

Second, there are supposed to be wings attached to this "butterfly" gown...Not so... Nothing like wings are a part of this.It's simply a dress with a stretchy bodice and 2 pieces of velcro in the back to fasten it.

Not so durable... Before my daughter ever wore this once - all she did was to take it out of the box - the sequins from the straps were falling off.I don't have great hopes for this lasting very long.I'd have returned it right away, but my daughter wanted to dress up like a princess in the worst way, so we kept it, and we wound up buying separate shoes.

This is not an educational toy by any means, but I don't belive it's supposed to be.It's just pure fun for kids to dress up.Too bad it's not as advertised! ... Read more

Rip-off

Bat Dad 2
I bought the Bat belt for my son again. Now he is four going on five. I have learned that if I put the belt on him and pull it real snug past the last loop then use some duct tape for a few wraps, he can squeeze in and out of it real easy and it stays on him while he is playing. He loves it now. Bat tip. Pick a closet and hang a dark sheet down in the open doorway with a flashlight on in the closet. Then line up a few chairs with a sheet over them connecting to the closet entrance. Then hang a Batman costume with the Bat Belt and mask in the closet. Set some music playing from the first Batman movie. 1990. My son crawls through the chairs like a batcave entrance to find his costume waiting for him in the closet. Then he crawls back out to do battle with me while the music is playing. Sometimes I surprise him, he hears the music and runs to the den cause he knows it's Bat time.

Bat Belt
I got this belt for my 4 yr old.Its HUGE!I need to layer him up and put it on the last setting to stay on. Either that or feed him an entire box of hoho's/ring dings a day.That is a bit dissapointing.Other than this belt is 200% nicer than the belt that comes with the mask/cape/talking chest plate. (which is why we needed to buy this belt.)He plays with it maybe 2-3 times a week since recieving it from Santa.Would be nice if the company offered a delux set with all the nice masks, gloves, cape and belts vs needed to buy 3 sets from the same manufacturer just to get the right look.

My suggestion is get the muscle holloween costume and get this belt.That would be the ultimate play costume...but I couldn't find the halloween costume around Christmas... so santa had to improvise and bring this with the other sets. The belt is nicer than the glove set and the talking chest plate set.

Excellent Value
I bought this belt for my son's 3rd Christmas and although it was too big for his waist - he still enjoyed 'the gear' that came with the belt.He has played with this belt many times over the years, and so have his friends.He's 5 1/2 now and wore the belt as part of his Halloween costume.Everything still works just like when we bought it.If you use rubber bands to hold the 'gear' down your little caped crusader is ready for anything.He played the button for people giving out candy and everyone, the people giving out candy, the other trick-or-treaters and Robby had a blast! ... How upsetting...
I was very upset when I realized that none of spiderman's other powers come with this toy.In fact I"m not quite sure if this is what spiderman really sees at all.My main question with this toy is, Does Spiderman have these?I suspect not, wich makes them not worth my time.Overall, I felt very ripped off and I wish that I had sent them back before I rigged them up with shoelaces.But hey, on the plus side, they fit now.

Not much to do with it......but
Last holiday season, our son begged us for the web-blaster. Of course we bought every other Spiderman toy out there so that we wouldn't have to endure the mess of the blaster. He played with all of the toys for quite some time, but this one was a waste of money. It fit him....but what is there for him to do with a flashlight!
That's how I felt about it until last week when the power went out! This toy lit up the entire house. We were in the playroom downstairs when the lights went out. The house was pitch. Thank God I remembered this toy. It was a lifesaver! It finally served a purpose! I'd buy it again!

My son used his birthday money yesterday to purchase these goggles.As soon as we got in the car, I opened it for him.Immediately he was disappointed cause it kept falling off his head.So we brought it home and using the screwdriver tried to adjust it so it would stay on his head better.Now the package says it is recommended for ages 5 and up.My son is turning 7 tomorrow.You would either have to have a child with an enormous head or someone who is over 10 to be able to wear these things.My son was so disappointed.I am sure there is a way to rig it with scissors and screwdrivers and any other hold hold item you have around if you really want to keep them but my son was so heartbroken he just told me to take it back and exchange it for something else.Don't get me wrong they look cool and the light is pretty cool too but unless you can wear them the toy is pretty much worthless. ... Neat toy!
I bough this for my 3 year old and she really likes it. It comes with 4 different make up items: lipstick, nail color, eye color, and perfume. The lids don't stay on well but she doesn't seem to care. My 3 year old loves it!
My 3 year old daughter recently was given the Disney Princess Vanity for her birthday & she absolutely loves it.It is a perfect size for her and has some neat accesories with it so that she can brush her hair and put on "make up".I think that it is a great product for the price as well.

A friend asked what she could get my little girl for her 5th birthday and I suggested this vanity.It looked so cute.When we got it and put it together, it was very, very small.We sent it right back and got the Barbie vanity.I can't believe that the age range includes up to 8 years old-NO WAY!!!I put 4 stars for fun because my daughter thought it was fun and wanted to keep it.Her knees hit the top of the vanity and she barely fit on the stool...she's not a big child either.This is best suited for a 2 year old, possibly a three year old. ...
