Editorial Review

This electronic and interactive Polar Bear cub really is adorable. Covered in soft fur and measuring just over 12-inches tall in the seated position, the fun-loving bruin makes a number of different sounds depending on how you play with him. He will make slurping noises when you place the included bottle in his mouth, and start to coo and relax when you give him a hug. And if that wasn't enough, you can even make the cub giggle by tickling him in the right place. Each bear comes with its own special adoption certificate and a plastic feeding bottle. Requires 3 "C" batteries (not included), along with a Phillips head screwdriver to install or change the batteries. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I accidentally came upon this bear
I was searching for something and my daughter saw this bear on a shelf. She asked if she could get it for her birthday. She had seen it on a commercial.I bought it not having to many expectations.
From the second we got it out of the box my daughter played with it.She was very careful and took great care of it making sure it was safe and cared for like a baby. She even made a special bed for it in her room and it sleeps in it every night.
It is very interactive our favorite part is that it laughs when it's left paw it tickled.I would recommend this to anyone it is a great item!

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST TOY!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really like this toy i just got it today. I also think that the ages should be changed to 5 and up because its cute but could break really easy!!The other reason is because little kids about 4 or under could get scared of it and have nightmares about it.So i think you should wait untill your child is about 5 or over.

5-0 out of 5 stars I LOVE LUV CUBS!
They are ineractive and adorable. They come in either Panda, Brown or Polar bear. They are so cute and their paws look so real, i am getting mine tomorrow, i think! And u know how excited i am? VERY EXCITED!! ... Read more

Editorial Review

This microcosm of Neopets is a portable world for your pocket. Meridell, the land of heroes and legends that was long hidden within Neopia has now been uncovered and is delightfully rendered here in miniature. The pocket Neopet world folds up into a small gold colored pod that you can take anywhere. Open up the case and you can play with your three Neopets: Lupe, Draik, and Lxi. Name them, choose their personalities and preferences, and then proceed to play with, feed, and generally care for them. The sensors in the electronic ports they sit in know which pet you're playing with. There are six games you can play on the small LCD screen with four toggle buttons--they aren't the most engaging games, but winning them scores you points you'll need to buy food and toys for your pet. If you don't give your pet everything it needs, it will run away. Of course, you can always reprogram it to come back to you. There are three little slots to tuck the pets neatly into when you close up the case and hit the road. --Megan Sullivan ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Mystery Island neopets
This review is supposed to be for Meridell:pocket neopet, but I have a Mystery Island pocket neopet. I like it a lot becuase I love kougras and Mystery island. I think you should buy this toy because it teaches kids responsibility. And it has four of the best neopets games. one of the four is a slots game. Anyway, I think that all of them would be a great toy.

sincerly,
Quigley

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this toy! It's sooooo cool!
I have a Aisha and the kacheek, my Aisha is already 4 days old! and while playing in the Lost Desert, it found 2,000 NP on the ground! I now have at least 20,000 NP of hard work, I feed mine two times a day, and gave it a petpet, but somehow the petpet was gone the last time I checked :(, but at least my pet hasn't died! I love this toy, if you have a pet and love it and like to spoil it, but can't take it everywhere with you, get a pocket neopet! I'm in Middle school, I'm an 8th grader and I take my pet to school everyday, I'm 14 years old and have been playing neopets for about 2 years (almost) if other people say when you leave it on when you sleep and it runs away, that's so not true, I leave mine on all night and it turns off by itself but the clock keeps going, I my pet, it's one of the best pocket pet I could ever ask for! I love this pet, neopets rocks! [...] I stongly recommend this toy, it'll be fun! I'm working on keeping my pet alive for 365 days (1 year)! If you love neopets and you'd like to take care of them 24/7, then you can! Buy a pocket neopet today!

5-0 out of 5 stars WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT?
It's a great toy! I got it for my 13th B-day... i know the graphics are not soo good but what could you expect for 20$? It has 6 great games including Turmac Roll, Kiss the mortog, Ultimate Bullsye, Turtle Racing and a new game Negg drop! As you rule each level you get more NP's and a trophy! It's perfect for loooong trips!!! Comes with 3 neopets, a bank account, 3 shops (including petpet shop) also i hear people are saying that its hard to get np but if try hard you will manage to get enought np's to buy things and make your neopets happy so they dont run away (happened to me only 2 times). ... Editorial Review

While there exist numerous trainable robotic dogs on the marketplace, there's something a little refreshing about a furry mechanical pup that simply does whatever he wants to. Because really, haven't we all met or even owned dogs like that? Once Go-Go is turned on, he moves back and forth on tiny wheels hidden under thick blond fur all the while pivoting at the shoulders and hips to give a more realistic depiction of walking. Go-Go is a noisy little critter as well barking and panting while moving about the floor. While the real dog movements and sounds were lots of fun, such entertainment does come at a price, in this case five "C" batteries. Like a real dog, Go-Go wears a fetching purple bandana but unlike a real dog, Go-Go has an off switch. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Its totally cute!
I love it! Its so cute! At first, whenever I called Vanilla {my walkin` pup} she went the wrong way! But after some training she came straight toward me. Its just like having a real dog! I really recommend this!

2-0 out of 5 stars No I-Cybie...
Ii's fun at first but it goes the worng way, runs right into walls and is too stupid to turn around, and barks non-stop. Once you've had a tatse of an I-Cybie it's hard to accept any other electronic mutt. The wheels on it go physco and never turn the right way. The fur is too long and the dog gets it stuck in the wheels. It's great when you first get it but you soon realize, it's no I-Cybie. Buy that instead.

Attention! The rare and powerful Pokemon called Pikachu desperately wants a playmate. Squeeze its paws and watch its ears wiggle, its mouth move, and its red cheeks light up. And listen to a cute voice saying (over and over, with variations in emphasis and intonation), "Pika-Pika-Pikachu!" The more you play, the more excited this furry yellow fellow gets. Fans of the Pokemon phenomenon will definitely want to get their own paws on plush Pikachu, who measures 8 inches from ear tips to toes. Requires three AA batteries (included). --Emilie Coulter ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Fun Toy
This toy is not meant for young children who like to be very rough with their toys (throwing, stomping, etc.). It is very cute. It is good to hug when you are sad, lonely, etc. I am 9-years-old and my Mom is typing this for me.

1-0 out of 5 stars Waste!!!!!!
If I could, I would give this 0 stars. I used to want one when I saw the commercial, and then I saw them at target. First of all, they don't respond to you! All you do is push two buttons, they dance, they make a noise; that's it! Don't waste your money. Instead, I would highly recommend getting a tamagotchi.

4-0 out of 5 stars FUN FUN FUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got a aquapet. It is soooooooooooooo fun. If you want you'r children to learn how to take care of a pet, you should get one. It will keep them busy for a long time.I think that they are cute.

2-0 out of 5 stars Cool at first then it fades...
It is very fun at first. You think your buying something great because he's so soft and cute. He doesn't do anything!!!!!!!! He growls when you take the bone away and pants when you pet his back! Wup-de-doo! That's so fun! I can't wait to play again! NOT!!!!!!!! Great for young kids but don't buy it for an 11 year old. They soon realize this is no I-Cybie.

3-0 out of 5 stars Cute but not functional
I bought the Fur Real puppy for my six yearold neice. I was pretty disappointed with it because it doesn't live up to it's
advertisement. I replaced the old batteries with new ones and held my breath as my neice and I attempted to play with it again. We were never able to get it to respond to the bone. We even timed it and held the bone to its mouth for 3 minutes. Nothing. Some of the reviews I read said that you have to hold it up to the dog's nose. Well, I'll try it, but what sense does that make? The box says 'you can feed your puppy a bone'. Hmmm. Through its nose?!?After petting it for about 30 to 45 seconds, it barked a little. And that was it. Luckily my neice still liked it because it's really cute and she can't have a pet. But I wonder how long she'll play with it and whether it was worth the price. ... Read more

i think that this is a great toy to own.I already own 2.the ashia i am ratting now and the orange kougra plushie.my brother has the red scorchio.i think that it would be a good toy for younger kids but still is fun for me at the age I am.it has a good play value and is very fun.it has not a lot of educational value though.

5-0 out of 5 stars I GOT ONE!!!
I got one of these horribly cute things at Toys R Us after searching the web with no luck for one, I went to an actual store. (Luckily the toys r us in the area is not very popular so I was able to find some things that are supposed to be rare) anyways although this toy will get boring after a while all of its cuteness makes up for it. I would recommend getting another voice activated pet with it if possible.

5-0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect
My cat absolutely loved this toy! He leaps at it, dives under it, and chases it.

It has a fuzzy ball with two short fabric "streamers" on the ball. The ball attaches by a piece of elastic string to a flexible plastic wand that in turn attaches to the main unit.

The good:
- The 'chaos algorithm" makes the ball move in ways that mimic a bug etc. The motion is great and my cat loves it.
- Seems sturdy. When he grabs the ball and the wand can't move, I keep waiting for it to not work anymore; but so far, it starts up again just fine when he lets go. The wand hasn't come out of the place it attaches to, although he's a strong cat and has pulled this thing across the room.
- Comes with batteries.
- Comes with a spare ball.

The not-so-good:
- The on/off switch should be on the remote. This would increase the play value a lot. All the remote does is rotate the direction of the toy and move it forward, so it's pretty useless.
- Within two days, my cat had chewed off the elastic string twice and finally pulled it completely off the ball. So even though the toy is sturdy, the dangling ball part isn't. However, you can attach other dangly cat toys to it easily (there's a round hole at the end of the wand and you just tie them on.)And you do get a spare ball (but I'll be looking for something to attach that will last more than two days!)

5 stars overall because when I put this toy away in the garage, the cat sits at the garage door and cries for it. And we've had a great time watching him play with it.

3-0 out of 5 stars It's OK
This is a little plastic cat that has a fluffy ball on a string attached to it that flails wildly in different directions. The kitty unit can move forward and back and turn by its remote control. One would think that this would drive kitty absolutely crazy by its description but it is not that great.

My cat freaks out at first look of the cat attack, but then he gets bored with it. I decided to let the cat hang out by himself with this thing one or two times (when you leave kitty unit on the floor by itself, the string/fluffy ball goes crazy by itself), but my real kitty ended up being too smart for it, and turned it over on its back, rendering it useless. The cat is definitely intrigued by this device but it does not do anything like his favorite toy, a little yarn duck on a string that we usually play with (and cost a mere 2 or 3 bucks). I suggest keeping your money and playing the normal way. Nothing can replace the fun kitty gets with human contact and a generic toy. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Micro Pets
Well my daughter and I have been going to Burger King to get these Micro Pets out of the Kids Pack, and she just loves them. She has started to collect them and just the other day she was lucky enough to match up the Micro Pets with green eyes. She was so excited because she got 2 out of 400 of these Micro Pets that when they are close together their eyes light up green instead of red. These Micro Pets are fun for the kids and cheap for the parents.

5-0 out of 5 stars Micropet Crazy!
My seven year old daughter got a Micro Pet III Bundle as an early Christmas present from her Nanna. Unfortunately, it came in a cardboard shipping box, and had so instructions or an introduction whatsoever. My daughter didn't know they could actually do anything, she thought they were plastic figurines. My three year old son pressed down a button on one of the Mice's heads and it's eyes lit up and it walked forward, making sounds. My daughter turned all of them on, it was wild on my kitchen table! As soon as she ignored some of them, (the only one she paid attention to was the unicorn - go figure) the dogs would howl, the cats would sound a little angry, it was hilarious! She gave half of them to her brother and she kept half.

One of them looks like our cat, Ramona, grey with stripes. My daughter kept that one, the unicorn, the pink mouse, the koala, and the brown collie. My son got the rest. He's delighted! These keep the children delighted for hours. Enjoy! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Aquapets like so rule!!!
Aquapets are great. My friend has one too and we can play with them like forever!!! I think they are educational because it teaches you a little bit about how to treat a real pet. And the are SOO cute!!! I like them better than tamagotchis because the are cuter, more colorful, they don't die, and they can connect too!!!

P.S. Their power signs rule!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Aqua-DUMMIES!
Heh, this toy almost seems almost like...like...NEOPETS!For neopets, all you have to have is internet access and a computer. For this piece of junk, you have to waste a few batteries. And It barley even works.Voice activating is hard, because what if your voice isn't perfect as it recored? So, you have to reset the Aquapet.

All this is, is a plastic little freaky alien hooked on 2 thin strings that can easly fall apart. This piece of cr@p ain't worth ANYTHING.Aquapets have the same stupid tune, 'Take me out to the Ball Game.'If you want a Aqua animal, why don't you go down to Pet Supermarket and get a Goldfish for $1.00?This is such a tragedy in my wallet, so I returned it.I didn't excange.I hope this review gets to the bottom of this!!!

1-0 out of 5 stars THE HORRIBLE TOY
Never buy this (...). All it does is say kee-kee and ka-ka and bob up and down on two strings. I mean playing with your toes would cost nothing and would be more amusing and more fun.
And I mean you could buy a GC Cd with the same amount of money instead of being ripped off (...)you could get at McDonalds for free.AND CAN ALSO BE VERY DANGEROUS AND ALMOST KILLED MY FRIEND! BYTHE WAY GC IS GOOD CHARLOTTE AND GOOD CHARLOTTE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE EVERY THING BUT DURABILITY A ZERORATING AND GIVE DURABLEITY A FIVE BECAUSE I HAVE THRONE IT AGAINST EVERY THING I CAN THINK OF INCLUDING MY FRIENDS HEAD AND THAT IS HOW SHE ALMOST GOT KILLED. THIS TOY TURNS NORMAL PEOPLE INTO MANIACS.NEVER BUY THIS TOY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BECOME A MANIAC
