Excellent!!!!
The table is the perfect size for little ones, it easily fits six pre-schoolers.I bought this item for my two children (2 and 3 yrs old) and they absolutely LOVE it.We have the matching sand-box, which I also highly recommend.

The table surface is a rough, simulated-wood finish, but wipes clean easily.The table is very sturdy, the benches can support an adult, and the umbrella fabric is much better quality than I expected.

Assembly took about 10 minutes and is easier with two adults, one to hold the table in place, and one to install the (12) screws.I installed all the screws without pre-drilling any holes and used a manual screwdriver.It was not excessively difficult, although assembly would definitely have been easier had the batteries for my cordless drill been charged.I would not recommend attempting to assemble the table by yourself, although it can be done.

This is a great product for little ones and I would recommend it to anyone with a pre-schooler.

Best table
This is the best kids table I've ever seen. The plastic won't give splinters like a wood table would. It is heavy duty so it won't tip over. The umbrella is tall and wide. This picnic-style table is perfect for small kids because there are not individual chairs for them to have to pull in and out and fumble over. They can easily step in and sit down without tripping or falling. It is comfortable seating for 4 small kids. But by the time they turn 6 years old, they will be too tall for this table. Buy it for your small ones. I'm extremely happy with ours!

LOOOOOVE IT!!!
I just bought this for my kiddos and WE love it. As far as coloring goes and getting food or what not off the surface it really doesnt seem like a big deal to me. The groves arent so deep that you cant clean it off. Besides if the child is coloring from a coloring book i dont see an issue. Even if it where one page there are always ways....**rolls eyes at other comment**

Great Investment!Activities for many levels and interests!
I'm a mom that has to buy one toy that will serve multiple purposes.So you can imagine my joy when I came across the Music n' Play table!On the top side, it's split between a piano and activity center, then flip it over and underneath is a miniature "lego" building table.Plus, it has storage for the lego pieces!I was looking for an activity table for my 8-month old son because he likes to stand and pull himself up on things.We've had absolutely no problems with its stability. Actually, he uses it like a walker, pushing it all around the kitchen.And it easily entertains more than one child at a time.I was hoping it was available at stores in my area, but even with shipping and handling, it was well worth the price.I highly reccomend this toy, I know Colin will enjoy his Music n' Play Table for a long time.

Fun, but what's with the music?
Our 13-month old enjoys this table a lot.However it sounds like all the preprogrammed music was done in Shanghai.Vaguely American pieces are played with distinctly Chinese instruments and arrangements, basically comprising a sad-sounding fiddle, xylophones, and drums.It's some of the strangest music I've ever heard from any kids' toy (and unfortunately it's somewhat scratchy due to poor sampling or tone generation).Also be aware this item takes two sets of batteries: one for the activity area and the other for the music area.Pros: easy assembly, lots of items for the toddler to play with, and unlike many of their other toys it's one they can play with standing up.

She loves it :)
We bought this bed for our little princess and she adores it. She loves turning the light on and off, peeking through the windows and climbing all over it. I read the reviews and wasn't sure how the assembly would be but it went smoothly and was pretty quick. I've even slept in the bed with her for a couple hours and found it to be most comfy:). The high sides are great, she did fall out a couple times in the first week but we put a pillow on the floor under the sidestep so it was a cushioned landing and she went right on sleeping. We're very happy with our little fire engine.

Great Bed, but hard to understand instructions
My son will be 2 in a couple of weeks and we bought the bed for his birthday. I spent 3 hours trying to put it together. With the exception of telling you what and how many screws to put in, the instructions are only pictures. Not everyone can just look at a picture and be able to put something together. My son loves the bed, especially the light. I laid in it tonight with him and I'm not a small person, and it held up just fine.

Finally stays out of my bed!
This bed is straight from heaven! My twenty-month old son finally started to actually stay in his own bed. He never liked his crib and he is so tall that even with the mattress on the last notch he could still tople out of it. So, he slept with us. Needless to say, he loves his new bed so much he stays in it when he wakes up in the night. I know that if he does wake up quietly, he won't hurt himself trying to get out. Worth every penny!
Because this was such an expensive item I did my homework before purchasing the table. I looked at some cheaper tables to begin with but found that they couldn't come close to the Thomas table by Learning Curve. This table is made of solid wood and took me about 5 minutes to put together. I was able to get the playmat for free with the table through a promotion Toys R Us was having at the time of purchase. Another thing that sold me on the Thomas table was that this is the same table they have at Barrnes and Noble and you can imagine how many children play on that day after day. We have the table set up in our son's playroom since it is such a large piece. Unlike many other toys we have purchased in the past, this is one that we will save for years to come. They are expensive, but they are also made well and come with a lifetime guarantee. If you have a problem with one of their products you simply send it to them with a letter and within about 1-2 business weeks they will send you a brand new item. If you are looking to buy a train table I would highly recommend this one. Though it is more expensive, it is worth it in the long run. Why spend $80-$100 on a table that is only going to last a year or so when you can spend a little more and save it forever? One other hint...Michael's Arts and Crafts and A.C. Moore Craft Stores also carry a decent amount of the wooden Thomas toys. Look in your local paper for their 40% off coupons. They apply to Thomas and Friends which makes it a lot more affordable. :)

$$$ TRAIN TABLE PRICE IS EXTREMELY TOO HIGH****
Hello, my son is 3 and just was newly introduced to Thomas, he loves it, there are so many trains to collect from 2004 and past years. This table is so over priced, we decided also to build one $60 for materials (all oak) and a few hours and its done, personally its beautiful and stained it looks like an expensive piece, (thanks to my brother-in-law builder and my husband), if you are not as lucky to have someone in your family build it for you here is a suggestion..get in touch with your local school, or the woodshop teacher and see if you can get one of the students to build it as a project (they get graded for this) and your helping that student learn, or get plans and build it yourself, dont have the saws? your local home store may cut the wood for you. Its just a suggestion because thomas stuff is great but I would rather spend my money on the trains (which is the REAL enjoyment. Hope this helps

Time For Thomas
The Thomas train sets are great modern versions of the classic indestructible wooden train sets.Simple enough to avoid the toddler age frustrations of getting the cars to run on the track yet complex enough to engage a wide range of ages (up to and including Grandpas).All the stories help with the imagination part....the books & videos provide an endless source of adventures that can be acted out, although most kids are perfectly capable of inventing their own episodes.

Here is my advice, if you are trying to work your way through the maze of start-up options:

First of all, you can spend a fortune on a huge set....even if you can afford it, I would start with something small and give the child the joy of receiving a chain of small but intriguing presents over a long period of time.It fosters the joy of giving/receiving and helps teach them to come back again and again to the same toy...watching it grow, asking for specific items from the stories they hear, etc.Several reviewers suggest painting an old coffee table and this is a great idea.

I suggest the Figure 8 set (the most popular one) or if you want to spend a little bit more, the Conductors Figure 8 set.Both are complex enough to be interesting, but simple enough to give lots of room for growth.Almost immediately I would add a new present of one of the inexpensive engines (you can ask the child which story they like best and get that engine for them....or buy the engine to go with the video or book in the same gift)....these would be Percy The Small Engine, Bill The Yellow Engine, Treavor, (or a bit more $ for:) The Lady Engine, James The Red Engine, Gordon The Express Engine (he's one of the best stories, I think), or Henry The Green Engine.

Now for the good stuff!Give it a month or so, and then reward the child with something really cool like the Barrel Loader or Rusty the Construction 3 Car Set.

I honestly can't see the point in the huge multi hundred dollar system sets.If you want to impress the neighbors or something, go for it, but I'm telling you.....most kids will enjoy a large number of small thoughtful gifts, not a "keep-up-with-the-Jones" effort on your part.

Good behavior can be rewarded with a pick-your-own trip to the store (there are sometimes when a real time shopping trip can't be beat)

By the way, the Thomas stories are based on real restored engines that run in England on the Mid-Hants Railway Watercress line near Winchester (you can read about them an even plan a trip to ride on the real Thomas trains by checking outwatercressline.co.uk).They are a day trip from the London rail stations, although I recommend using a B&B in the Winchester area and staying overnight if you decide to go.Winchester was the center of the old Saxon kingdom of Wessex of King Alfred as well as a major early medieval site (the Cathedral has the tombs of many of the Saxon Kings as well as Jayne Austen and Izaac Walton and it was where Richard the Lionhearted was crowned.)

Not that impressed
I like the concept of storing the pieces in this toy and being able to build on top of a small table.I am not certain why the table plays music and has the spinning wheels.My daughter rarely plays with this toy and I would recommend the plain megablocks over this toy.

He loves it TOO much!
I bought this for my son's first birthday.He couldn't grasp the building concept, but loved the music and spinning wheels.So, for three months, he put on anything new he came into contact with (slippers, plastic containers, trucks, clothes, baby lotion, bottle, ANYTHING) on the spinning wheels and watched the item go around.It really kept him and us entertained, as we never knew what he would put on there next.We decided that this toy was well worth it, even if he never used the building toys with it.

At about 14 months he started to get interested in the building pieces.It was almost a little disappointing!This toy is the main toy he plays with every day.We all love it!

This toy has stood up to much abuse from my child.The legs were fine once my husband managed to get them in place (I couldn't do it).I also like that the pieces can go into the toy itself.

DS also likes to take the round pieces, roll them on the kitchen floor and chase after them.This has been a multi-purpose toy for him!LOL!

You don't have to put the batteries in it.

We LOVE Elmo!
My son LOVED this toy.We bought it for him when he was 8 mos. old and he played with it non stop, that is, until IT stopped working.After only 3 months of use Elmo's head stopped working (that's what my son loved most about the toy was the moving Elmo).So we called Fisher Price3 and of course they would replace the item, but we would have to pay shipping and after paying $35.00 for a toy, I didn't think I should have to pay more for a defective toy.We were dissapointed with Fisher Price's lack of concern about the quality of their products.But for the 3 months it worked, my son loved it!It was his favorite!

Cute but Elmo's head quit moving within 3 months
My daugher LOVES this table and still plays with it, but Elmo's head is supposed to move back and forth while the music plays.She got it for Christmas and she was not rough on it at all and by Easter Elmo's head no longer moved.Other than that it still works fine and she still enjoys it.But she takes her little hand and manually moves Elmo's head back and forth and looks at him like "hey, what's wrong?"Overall a cute toy to teach about eyes, nose, ears, etc. and the alphabet.Plus good for when they are first learning to stand up.

EXCELLENT TABLE!!
This table is one of the best purchases I have made in a while.My 2 yr. old loves it.She sits and plays at it all of the time.We keep it in her room (her whole room is the sunshine theme)and whenever she is in her room she's sitting at this table.It is adorable and matches really good with everything else in the room.Great buy very sturdy I always sit with her and so does my 7 yr. old and the chairs are very sturdy.It would be nice with 4 chairs but 2 seems fine and 4 would take up to much room anyway.

Happy Child
We got this for our 17 month old daughter for Christmas.I love it because it is the cutest table set that I have found and she loves it too.We also got her the Just Like Home Tea Set so now she is enjoying many tea parties with her favorite stuffed animals.

It was easy to put together and very solid.This will be a place for many more tea parties as well as other activities.It is something she will enjoy for some time to come.

Other tables I have seen with this much decorative design were far more expensive so I am very happy with this set.If you could get additional chairs, that would be a plus.

We also bought her the matching toy box which is also an excellent piece.

An All-Purpose Set-Up For Children
This is excellent furniture for a child's room.I Have a 2 year old daughter and she does practically everything at this table.This is her workspace.She plays there, she dresses her dolls there and she even eats her meals here on occassion.I would even go as far as to say that the durability of the chairs is unsurpassed.My husband and I often sit in the chairs and we are not exactly small people.The aesthetics of the furniture, although obviously for the little girl, makes it possible for it to blend in with already existing furniture.This is a must-have and will no doubt last a very long time. ... A GREAT TABLE AND CHAIRS SET!!
I purchased this for my daughter's second birthday and I am so glad I did.I started off by purchasing a plastic Little Tykes table and returned it because I figured in the long run it would look nicer to have a wood table.The table is sturdy and although some reviewers said that it scratches easily and is hard to clean....I find that untrue.The scratches from shoes, crayons marks, etc., come right off with a rag and some soap and water.Another suggestion is use the Mr. Clean Cleaning Sponge....it works wonders but just rub lightly because this product has abrasives in it.My daughter loves to sit at this table and eat and color and it is perfect for her and one friend.It also looks great in my family room without looking like a "toy".Worth the money!

Love it!
This is a really great, sturdy table and chairs at a great price.We have the Jardine crib and dresser with beadboard that match this.My mom got this for my daughter's 1st birthday (she's 15 months now). It has enough room for coloring, eating, or playing without taking up the whole playroom. The chairs are the perfect size for her, yet they're big enough that I can sit there with her.The customer service is awesome.When I opened the box, the table top had a few light marks on it.The instructions said if there was a problem to contact them instead of taking it back to the store.I emailed them and I had a new table top on my doorstep the next week.Highly recommended.

Arm Entrapment
I awoke to my child screaming because her arm was tangled in the railing and she was unable to release her arm from the railing.The side railings make it a very dangerous bed.

This bed is great! It was quite easy to assemble. My 2year old was very excited to have a "bid girl bed". It is quite sturdy and doesn't take up extra room. The crib mattress fit perfectly also. The side rails are a nice and safe added feature. The bed is also low enough to the ground that my daughter is able to get in and out easily which makes her feel independent. Another thing I like about this bed is that the siderails can detach so if you wanted, you could add longer siderails instead or remove them once your child is no longer rolling around in bed. Nice looking, not Long-Lasting
I purchased this toy box because it seemed durable and was very nice to look at and have in my living room. It held up well for about about 6 months or so and then one day the lid fell on my son! The screws that connect the lid to the sides had worn away the wood and the lid could no longer stay up. We called the manufacturer and they replaced it, but the same problem occured with the second box. If you buy this box keep a close eye on the lid and check it often. I would not reccomend this toy box.

looks aren't everything....
I bought this toy box a year ago for my then 2 year old son...What a mistake...A year later and the lid, because it is cloth, is filthy...I used to wipe down the lid every once in awhile with a face cloth, with soap and water but that doesn't work anymore...So if you plan on keeping this toy box for a long time be prepared to look at a dirty, filthy mess.I am going to buy a hand held carpet cleaner to see if that will clean it...It is sad because it really is the most attractive looking toy box I ever saw..Maybe they will start making them so the cloth cover can come off and be washed....

Much easier to assemble than other Little Tikes items!
The best thing about this table is all you have to do is screw in the legs and it's ready!It is durable, I'm always sitting at the table with my daughter, and it is super easy to clean.I have no complaints about this product.

Just perfect for little ones
Our two year old wanted a place to eat her cookies, color and watch tv. This Little Tikes table and chairs set is perfect for her.No tools needed for assembly, just twist legs on, and it's ready to use!There are two sturdy blue chairs with a chunky design so they're pretty stable on the floor, but of course watch for little climbers who will manage to tip over if not supervised. The white table top wipes off easily, making arts and crafts projects or drippy puddings a quick clean up.If you have to take this along for travel, it takes less than 30 seconds to disassemble.Great value, great product by a trusted name.

It would be nicer if....
This set is great for toddlers - durable, portable, cleanable, all that stuff.The thing I wish they could improve upon is the weight of the chairs.Becuase the chairs are hollow plastic, they slide extremely easily and little bottoms have a hard time steadying the chair when they try to sit.If there was some way to weigh down the legs of these chairs (just a little) I think the tot would be less frustrated when trying to sit.

Otherwise, great value - and of course Little Tikes furniture will outlast us all, so the set is well worth the cost. ... Read more

how to keep it clean
for those who are worried about keeping the table clean, a grill cover would help keep out leaves and dirt.this is a fun toy and I can't wait for summer so my little girl can play with hers all the time.this table could also be used inside as a sensory table.use shaving cream, streamers, pasta, rice, (rice fits into a water wheel) beans, etc.It is the items that are good in a pre-school room.also, baby doll and a wash cloth for babies bath is good inside or out.

super fun!
I just bought this water table for my 23 month old and she loves it!We already have a great sandbox outside, so we decided to look for a water-only table.We bring it inside to play with it on rainy days and take it out on our deck on good weather days.We've added lots of sea animals and bathtub squirters to play with, and measuring cups to pour water with.We also add a bit of soap to the water and give her little people and other plastic toys a bath. I also found that the plugs leak, but a bit of Glad Press and Seal seems to do the trick!Also, Step 2 is sending a set of replacement plugs that are supposed to fit tighter.Even with the drips, this toy is well worth every penny!!!

Awesome alternative to sand & water tables
I bought this water table for my 21 month old and she absolutely loves it.I was really interested in getting a play table for water, but I didn't like the idea of having both sand and water in the same table.It seemed awfully messy and we already have a sand box.And then I found this one.I put this table together in less than 5 minutes and my daughter has played with it everyday since we got it.She gets completely soaked everytime, so I change her into a swimsuit before she plays.I have not had any problems with the drains leaking as some reviewers have noted.Her older brothers have even played with it and boats that come with the table.Consider this one for your water-loving toddler. ... Not perfect but pretty good
We bought this chair 6 months ago when my son was 14 months old.He absolutely loves this chair and uses it constantly.He's all boy and climbs all over this chair and it has held up pretty well.My only complaint is the fabric has "balled up" and has little pills in the areas that are used often.It has gotten stained badly but I used something I got at PetSmart called Simple Solution and it cleaned the chair right up, then I used Scotchguard and it looks much better. I got rid of the pills swith a razor.All in all, I would buy it again, just Scotchgusrd it immediately.

This is such a cute chair!
We purchased the bedding set for our son last year. My mother in law found the matching chair, I was so excited to get it. Its not as nice as the bedding set, the pictures of the animals are screenprinted on the chair but its still cute, and goes nicely with the bedroom set. My son sits in his chair all the time, I can tell he is going to love it for years.

My daughter loves it!!!

a table for ALL the kids!
We wanted a picnic syled table for our 3 year old b/g twins and our 8 month old b/b twins. We were in luck when finding this gem, our basement is ALWAYS cluttered so the more the compact the better. Well they love this table (though the 8 month olds pull up a little tikes chair, they need a back). There are no chairs that get in the way and windup away from the table. You can fit alot of kids here, and there is a nice workspace. We use this for arts and crafts and for eating snacks. Its really easy to collaps and to bring back up, (we keep it under the couch downstairs, just barely fits! well the couch is about 1 1/2 inches infront of the wall, so its a little extra room). The kids climb on it, color on it, jump off and on it, and pull it around, (its light weight) yet the table still held up and looks like new. I likethat its not another piece of furniture that you have to keep out constantly, (i.e kitchens, toy houses, tool benches, ect...) this my easle and my pop-up tent are the only pieces of toddler furniture/large toys that fold away for easy storage. I recomend this for a family with multiple children, or for an outdoor table, though I wouldnt recomend this for a kids bedroom table, as its a little TOO big for that!

Cool Play Table for Kids !
Well I know that I am 9 a teen ,but I like to sit in this table even I can still fit.It's a great table not only for kids up to 5 also for me who's just 9 yr old teenager.

I think this is a good toddler bed
We bought this for our daughter as soon as she turned 2. She is 3 now, and it has been a good bed. It is very durable, my husband had no problem putting it together. My daughter loves it, and it is very nice looking. The only thing is that she moves around a lot in her sleep, and the rails weren't really enough to keep her in place...sometimes she would be half way off the bed! We are going to get her a twin bed very soon, when she turns 4 but for us, it has been a good one. I would just say that if your toddler moves around "alot" at night, then these rails don't go far enough down. We thought about buying the kind of rails that fold down and fit under the mattress and adding them near the bottom.

Assembly nightmare
The finished product is nice but assembly was a nightmare.Most childrens products are a snap but this was not, the instructions are ridiculous and because its all allen wrench screws it gets loose easily.

I like the bed, but
it didn't go together too easily, there was a crack in the wood.All the parts were there, which was a plus after all of the reviews I read prior to this.The bed has sharp corners, so I'm sometimes worried that she'll split her head open, but so far so good. ... Read more

It’s hard to overestimate how useful a solid plastic picnic table can be to any household that has young messy children running around. Indoors, it can be a perfect place for youngsters to sit and have a midday snack or get out the coloring books and engage in some creative play. falls apart
This is by far the worst product I have ever owned from this company.It stays together for days and when my kids lean on it wrong it falls apart...and I mean all pieces a part.I would never suggest this table unless you really need to have one thatfolds up.Ours did not have the center hole so I guess ours was an older one.But buyer beware.

Great table!!!Recommended!
We bought this table for our twins when we moved and sold their high chairs.They've used it since they were 18mth (are now over 2 yrs old) and it still looks new even after *MUCH* abuse.Often I catch them standing on it jumping - but it still holds up fine.Very durable.

We don't fold it and put it away as the latches are a bit stiff and we really don't need to keep it in the closet or anything.We purchased the table because of the folding option for when we move again (military...) as we never know how much space we'll have at our next place.

We also have a 6yr old and she sits at it fine also along with the babies.We were orignally concerned that they'd outgrow it within a year or two but that doesn't seem to be the case.It will probably be around for several more years...

Just like Mommy and Daddy!!
This picnic table idea is just what the doctor ordered, to coin a phrase, and not only is it a durable item, but it's also mobile, and you can bring it outside or put it on the porch.Our girls have colored on it, ate on it, and played with their toys on it, and it's so easy to clean up after them, and the table has these great primary colors and is very attractive.We love it.And we recommend it, too!! ... Beautiful piece of furniture
I bought this toy box for my grandchild, and very pleased with what I have purchased. It is not only a functional item, but a beautiful piece of furniture. It can grow with my grandchild, and can be used for a long time in his room. Very sturdy!
We bought this toy box for our nursery, and we absolutely love it!This toy box is very easy to put together (I assembled it myself, and I'm 7 months pregnant), and the instructions are very clear.This toy box is also very solid.I can sit down on the top and it doesn't give an inch.
