Correspond with this Belle doll and she'll actually talk back. This 4-inch-tall replica of Disney's Belle from Beauty and the Beast responds to the sound of her owner's voice with sounds, movements and lights. Speaking to Belle in a soft tone produces happy chattering, humming, and giggling along with swaying movements and flashing lights in her ball gown. Raised voices put Belle in a much more subdued mood. Belle also reacts when she is being picked up or set down and she recognizes and interacts with other characters in Disney's Magic-Mates doll series. Belle has 20 different sounds altogether, including expressions such as "Would you like to sing with me?" and "Bonjour! I'm Belle." She operates via two AAA batteries and provides hours of entertainment for diehard Beauty and the Beast movie fans. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great fun
My daughter received this for her 8th Birthday. She absoutly loves Bell. She tells me when Bell falls asleep and loves that she talks back to her.Bell says "Lets go on an adventure." My daughter will hold Bell in her palm and take her for a tour outside, she talks to Bell and dances around while holding her in the palm of her hand singing and humming the songs along with Bell. She has told me several times she loves her Bell doll. I think this doll and the others are an excellent value especially at the clearance price. I would say if your daughter loves any of the Princess's or Winnie the Pooh go for it. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Winnie the Pooh is hunting for his friends, all of whom are hiding in honeypots, in this motorized musical memory game designed for preschoolers. To begin, placea character in each pot. Then tap Pooh's head and the characters will peek out, one byone, from beneath their lids while the Winnie the Pooh theme music plays. Everyonewatches and tries to memorize where each character is hiding. When the music stops, thefirst player flips over a character card to determine which of Pooh's friends they mustfind. If that player remembers correctly and lifts the right lid, they get to keep the card. The first player to collect all six cards wins. Watch out for the honeybee hiding in theseventh pot--lift its lid and you lose your turn. The game suits two to four players andrequires three AA batteries (not included). --Elisabeth Fredrickson ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Very cute But.....
There was alot of work to make this look very good. Unfortunately the game seems forced and the same game can be played with a deck of cards. It is a very cute toy, but the game is lacking.

1-0 out of 5 stars A total waste of money!
If I could give this toy "zero" stars, I would do so! The wretched thing is so poorly made that it loses its educational value completely. The players are supposed to watch the Pooh characters pop up briefly and then retreat, supposedly unseen, into their hiding place. Then, to score points, you have to remember where each character is.However, the part fits so poorly that you can see the character's head at all times. Even a 3 year old can readily identify the character without effort and certainly without learning anything.

Also, the entire concept is flawed because, if the parts did fit together propertly, the characters pop up so briefly that any child would find it a bit frustrating.

Overall, there are many, many better memory games that you can buy. Do not waste your money on this one!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun and keeps her attention!
My 3 year old niece loves this game! She enjoys playing it everyday (but she doesn't use the matching cards with it just yet). It keeps her attention and she can play it by herself too. There are several small, mouthsize pieces, but overall, older children will like the colors, characters, and sounds of this fun game! ... Read more

I was a bit let down when this product arrived and was a different color than the one that I ordered. The picture showed a purple dinosaur and what I got was green with a few other colors mixed in. It was still nice but not what I ordered.

Pegs in the Park is a simple children's board game for two tofour players that involves counting. Unfold the 18-inch-square gameboard and an ice cream truck pops up in the middle. Four twistingcourses--in yellow, blue, green, and red--are marked by peg holes andlead from start areas at the corners to the Holy Grail in the center. The game pieces are four sturdy 2-inch plastic pegs that arereminiscent of Gumby and feature a smiling face on the top. 5-0 out of 5 stars Best Number Recognition/Counting Game Ever
This game is so great for kids to have fun while they learn their numbers and start their counting skills. The cards have a number on them, and the same "number" of a cute, fun "thing", for instance the #10 is always ice cream cones...the 5 is always ducks.Your child has to count the items on the card to know how many spaces to move.Once they have counted the number of items several times, the recognize the number! My son learned his numbers 1-10 within weeks of receiving this game for his 3rd birthday. The game also "grows" with your child. It has a set of "minus" cards, which you may add to the deck when your child starts learning to subtract. All in all this is a well made game which children love to play, and offers so much more educational value than the typical pre-school games out there! It may cost a little more, but it is well worth it!

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun for neighbors
We live in a rural area and our little guy just turned 5 so it's a great game when our closest neighbor (who is also 5) gets to come over.It keeps the boys busy reinforcing their numbers, colors, and directions. It's also a great competative toy where they learn that in games of chance someone always comes in last. For more fun we just omit the minus cards altogether!

4-0 out of 5 stars fun but not for long
more fun for adults than other kids games, pegs in the park helps kids learn addresses and phone numbers and some other stuff.very simple to play and some fun for all, i found the pieces help up to kid level abuse, such as throwing, biting etc.the only drawback was that after awhile they lost interest in the game and moved on to other things. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great for Kids!
This game is the companion game to the APBA Superstars Baseball Game.It has all of the other game's strengths. It is educational fun for youngsters. It teaches them about primary colors and numbers, and introduces them to some of the basic terms of football (fumbles, passes, etc.).They also learn the names of today's football stars.Since there is no strategy involved, youngsters have as much opportunity to win as do adults playing against them.I also appreciate that the game parts are quite sturdy, and can easily be cleaned when the inevitable ice cream or buttered popcorn gets on them.I highly recommend it. ... Animals and the alphabet go together in childhood like peas andcarrots. In this short, simple game of memory, children learn to readthe alphabet. Each player parades a wooden animal-shaped game piecealong a spiral of letters. As they go from A to Z, theyhave to name animals of the air, land, and water that start with thecorresponding letter. Landing on an Alphacard space is risky: ajellyfish sting means moving back two spaces. There's a simple versionfor younger players and an alphabetical animal guide in the instructionbooklet. This high-quality game is made for the attention spans ofchildren and animals: one game lasts less than half an hour. --LynneSampson ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Alpha Animals
I play this game with my 5 and 3 year olds.My older daughter does find level one easy.It is hard for my three year old, but she is the one that loves the game.I would say it is a fun way to learn letters and their sounds, but it did not start any great interest in animals.

5-0 out of 5 stars For Animal Lovers
This is a great educational game! The first couple times my 5 yr-old grandaughter and I played, we used the directions for 4-6 yr olds, where you name an animal whose name begins with a, then b, etc, as you advance around the playing board. Soon she was playing at the more advanced, challenging level, where you must name an animal that starts with a and flies, or starts with a and swims, etc. It's great fun for her when grandma can't think of an answer, and she can!! My grandaughter has become so interested in animals, I bought her an encylopedia all about animals, that we use when playing the game. I would recommend this game for anyone who cares about animals. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Screwy Looey is a little electronic drill with blue safety goggles, an orange hardhat, and a goofy sense of humor. He comes with a set of plastic bolts and a carrying case, which folds out into a drilling area. Molded to look like a clubhouse with wooden slats, the bright red playing area has drill holes that the bolts fit into smoothly. The screwy thing about Looey is that he's got two moods, "Screwy" and "Looey." Looey is a real go-getter; he loves to drill and is a hard worker. Screwy, however, is just plain silly. He'll drill in forward and reverse, fast or slow, he'll yawn and hiccup, or ramble on while he works. You just never know what he'll do! Fortunately, your child will be in control of Looey's moods via the mood switch on the back of his goggles. Another switch controls drilling in forward or reverse, and a third switch can reset Looey if things get too screwy. Children ages 3 and older can practice their motor skills, or play a more complex game of tic-tac-toe. This would be a cheery addition to any little workbench. Requires three AAA batteries (not included). --M. Sullivan ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Big waste of money
Bought this for my "old-for-his-age" two-year-old who loves drills, so I thought he'd love it. To my surprise, it succeeded only in freaking him out and making him cry. The drill has a very annoying, kind of creepy laugh that is guaranteed to drive you crazy. The drill is supposed to have two modes: game (Screwy) and normal (Looey). The game mode is rather stupid, requiring kids to pick up on the drill's "mood," to succeed. I think the nuances of this mode are easily lost, since the drill never seemed to budge from acting chronically insane. The drill's normal "drive" mode (Looey), is supposed to function as solely as a drill, but it doesn't - the drill stops working and starts laughing half way through, and at this point you pretty much want to chuck the thing hard. BIG waste of money, and I bought at $10. Luckily I was able to return it.

2-0 out of 5 stars This toy is SUPER annoying...
My son picked this toy out on a trip with his aunt. She bought it for him for Christmas last year.He tried so hard to get the drill to work properly. He would get mad and cry because it wouldn't screw the screws in.My son has a workshop with tools that he can really use, so this one was confusing to him. This is not for a child that can already use a toy screwdriver. It will only frustrate the child and you.

5-0 out of 5 stars Two 3 yr olds love it
My 3 yr old gave it to her 3 yr old friend and the two of them played so nicely together! I had some trouble figuring it out but they thought it was fantastic. Too early to say if its durable or runs through the batteries, but so far a big hit. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars bowlercade more fun than a bowling alley
I brought this game for my daughter for christmas. It was a big hit for her and the entire family. I like that it has automatic scoring and ball return. Sometimes the ball in stuck on the return but you just need to make sure that it is slanted properly, other than that no problems.

1-0 out of 5 stars Bowlercade is a bust!
My daughter received this item for Christmas from Santa. It was such a huge disappointment. The alley is very small and narrow. The ball is so light weight my child had a tendency to be able to throw the ball down the alley instead of roll it and she is only 5 years old.The worst part is that the ball return did not work at all.I exchanged the toy 3 times and the ball return never worked consistently or properly.I would not recommend purchasing this toy at all.It is more fun to just go to a real bowling alley, it is less frustrating!
