    Editorial Review

This game is sort of like Twister meets Simon Says. Lay the Hullabaloo pads around on the floor about two 'kid's feet' away from each other. The pads are different shapes and colors and have pictures and words on them. Turn on the game console and the cheerful music begins, a happy voice welcomes you to the game and then gives the simple directions you'll need to play. "Jump on a square shape," "Slide over to a red shape," "Hop to a shape with an animal on it" and so on. Then it might tell you to freeze, or to put a body part on one pad, and then a different body part on another. Then, it'll tell you that if you are on a particular pad at the end of that round, you are the winner. We found it to be fun, and easy to understand--though we did wonder how long it might hold a child's interest. --Megan Sullivan ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for the whole family!
We received this as a family gift for Christmas. My 2 year old and 5 year old both love this game and my husband and I have fun playing it with them too! I highly recommend this because it is very educational and fun at the same time! Plus it helps the kids burn off some energy!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game for our family
My son received this game as a gift from my husband's employer.WE LOVE IT!!It's simply a lot of fun.The music is catchy and the kids have to listen (great as skill-building) for the next set of instructions. It's not predictable and it's a game that gets everyone off the couch. We've had a lot of fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars Be 7 Again!
I recently visited my goddaughter who has three boys 7-10 years old. The broke out the Cranium Hullabaloo and we all had a ball! This game is loads of interactive fun, keeps the kids hopping and focused, and gives their mom some "downtime." I forgot I was 55! It is now on my Christmas and birthday "must buy" gift list. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars great game
This is a wonderful game for children and adults.I introduced it to my adolescent special education class and to their delight they were competitive with peers and adults.Thisis because it challenges visual and spatial parts of the brain.
It fits instructional objectsfor sustained attention, pattern recognition and spatial discrimination. No two games are alike. The students love the web site (...)where they play against the computer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Simple to Learn and FUN!
My son (9 years old) saw this at the "teacher's store" by us and it's always sold out so he had to wait to get it. Boy was it worth the wait!He loves it! And we love it!All of his friends play and it's so easy to learn. The better you get at it, the more challenging the game.I'd recommend this to anyone! It's not a game that will sit on the shelf.

5-0 out of 5 stars Creative Educational Game for the Family
My 5 year old son received this game as a present from my sister.I also have a 6 1/2 year old son.The two of them put down their gameboys and played this game with us over and over for two hours. We've had the game for a week now and they are still asking to play. It's a great introduction to building strategies and using their spacial abilities. The rules are simple and the game itself goes fairly quickly which is great since my kids have a hard time sitting still for long.If I had seen this at the store I probably would never have considered it, but I would recommend it to everyone now that we have played it. ... Cadoo is the funky fusion of tic-tac-toe, general knowledge, sculptingskill, and scavenger hunt designed for kids by the brainiacs who brought us theleft side/right side frenzy of Cranium. Operating solo or in combo with others, players attempt to line up four of their jack-like tokens on the groovilycolored grid board by fulfilling a myriad of tasks in an array of categoriesfamiliar to Craniacs. Whether attempting to sculpt a taco out of the includedclay or guessing which of Milky Way, Butterfinger, or Twix is longer, cadetsfind that correct answers and successful missions--can you bring back bothsomething smaller than your big toe, and something bigger than your foot, inless than a minute?--put them one-quarter of the way closer to their Cadoo. Withits elements of strategy, its elegantly funny graphics, and some downrightserious silliness, there isn't a lot of Cadon't in Cadoo. --Tony Mason ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome game for everyone
My daughter received this game for her eighth birthday. We are avid game players in this house and own several cranium games. This game definately meets the cranium standard. We had a BLAST playing this game and ended up playing several time.My daughter loves the variety of activities, where I love that everything fits back in the box! This is a great family game.

5-0 out of 5 stars The perfect kid's game...even teens will get some kicks
This is a wonderful game for kids 7-10, and even teens, like me, might enjoy it for a while. Like the original Cranium, players are encouraged to use all kinds of different skills to advance in the game. The different types of cards encourage kids to work with words, draw pictures, act things out, and even sculpt with the included clay (it's great clay, by the way, and stays moist and pliable through tons of use). The variety is what keeps it fun, as you're always wondering what you'll have to do next.

The game pieces themselves are eye-catching and colorful. The cards and playing board are nicely illustrated with cute characters (Cranium fans will recognize the star, cat, worm, and Data Head). The playing pieces have a unique, whimsical shape that not only makes them look cool, but allows them to fit together for easy storage. These touches give the game a cheerful, happy look, but never in a cheesy way.

The gameplay is forgiving, as the included timer gives you ample time, and the questions and activities are simplified for younger players. Some challenges, however (sculpting in particular) are tough even for older players. Overall, though, everything seems to be at the right level for the age group, and all the activities are educational in some way. Plus, they're so fun that kids will have a good time doing them even if they don't win the game.

All in all, Cadoo has no flaws at all, and is overflowing with creativity and variety. It's a great game for a group of kids, a family looking to spend some quality time, or just about anyone, and parents will have the satisfaction of knowing that their child is learning as they play. It's the perfect balance: more kid-friendly than classics like Monopoly and Clue, more educational than games based on TV shows, and different from just about everything out there.

3-0 out of 5 stars Exellent, but not bad
When I got this game for my birthday, I was so happy to play it. That day I played it was so much fun. Three days later, I forgot about it. Then in March 2005, I was board and I remembered Cadoo. Then my mom accsept playing with me. Then it was so much fun!

    Editorial Review

Executing a clear and comprehensive crossover strategy between a board game and a set of familiar characters can be a tricky enterprise. But this synthesis of familiar Disney and the increasingly popular board game Scene It works exceptionally well, relying on DVD technology and the familiar faces of Disney's beloved characters to form a consistently entertaining family play experience. Included in the set are a game DVD, a game board, four category reference cards, 30 "buzz" cards, and 160 trivia cards with special sets for kids and adults. The game's designers thoughtfully included some Disney classics for Mom and Dad but there is more of an emphasis on Disney properties of the last fifteen years or so, The Lion King, George of the Jungle, the live action 101 Dalmatians, in order to appeal to the youngsters. Game play between the physical board and the action on the DVD is well executed and we found it easy to understand the rules and have fun. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Scene It Disney Game Review
The name of ths very exciting game is called Scene It Disney. This game to me is very ''interesting''. I think this game is very interesting to me because I like the thing's that they have in their cartoon movies that I'm interested in like the kind of clips that they play that are on nickelodeon. This game has lots of colorful objects that will make you want to play;Like the game board that we play on and the dice has little pictures on it to be able to tell us what to do. The movie clips are colorful, but I think theres only one cilp that is Black and White.
This game promises you family trivia game cards with magical Disney Clips! It also promises that you willhave fun and I thought the same thing. This game also promises a DVD and a boardgame. I think the rules are kind of easy because some of the questions I might not know and there are to much. Scene It Disney is more fun when you play with a group because it's more ''EXCITING AND FUN''. There is alot more action then just playing with 2 people because it makes the game more boring This game has movie clips like, Lion King, Flubber, Rapunzel Finding Nemo etc. That's why it's also interseting.
This game has a remote, two dyes, that are diffrent.I had fun plyaing because it had action in it because we was plying in groups. This game did build skills for me because I learned from the questions that I didn't know. If I had brought this game I would get what I payed for because it came with all the materials.
I would play this game again because it has fun and excitement in it. I hope all the people that hear of this game willlove to play this game because it is vey interesting.

4-0 out of 5 stars Disney Scene It?The DVD Game
I think this game is a very fun and energetic game.Iplayed it once and lved it.It is the BEST game I have ever played.

4-0 out of 5 stars A. M. T.'s review for disney Scene it
I couldn't wait to get this game I was so excited when it was finally in stock at Toys R Us. I got the game and played it right away. I was rather disappointed when the game started repeating clips and questions. It started repeating them the 4th time I played so that is a bad point about the game, that the fun didn't last as long as I had hoped. There are good things too. I hadn't seen some of the movies it mentioned and seeing the clips about them prompted me to see the movie. I also think this is really a game for all ages. I have a lot of cousins and we all played it together. Everyone had fun even the adults. The funniest part of playing with my whole family was that my grandpa had the most fun. Overall I think this is a pretty great game to have and I am looking forward to sequels of the game to come out.

Sally, Stevie, Stanley, Sophie, Stewie, and Sid are six colorful, lightweight bowling pins--each with their own personality--that talk to kids while they bowl. Taunts such as "C'mon!Roll the ball already!" get kids started, and phrases such as "Whew! That was close," keep them aiming for the pins. Bells, whistles, and cheers are heard if a spare or strike is bowled. The tan plastic base has six colored circles to hold the pins in place, but it is not required that colors match up for a game to begin. Silly 6 Pins only keeps score one frame (two balls) at a time, so keep a pad of paper nearby if you're playing as a family. Three AA batteries are required, but not included. --Pam Lauer ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for the whole family!
My little boy got to open this on Christmas Eve, his grandparents got it for him.My little boy was so shocked and excited when he saw the game!He had wanted this game for several months but I was'nt sure he'd like it as much as he wanted it but it was one of those games that I was wrong about- He loves it!I have to admit it is really a fun game.Thebowling pens shake and talk to you as you play and they say funny, cute phrases. My little boy who is almost 4 can set the game up him self and play it without anyone else or if he wants we can play with him.I like games that he can understand and be able to play without having a second player all the time.It makes this game even more a good purchase because being an only child there is'nt many games that are like this.He loves this game and still plays it a lot even 3 1/2 months later.I would reccommend it!

5-0 out of 5 stars FUN FOR ALL AGES
I was reluctant to purchase this toy for my son's third birthday simply because he has never been bowling or knew anything about it.However, based on your reviews I decided to try it out.My son is not easy to keep busy and this was the trick! This toy is a blast! He loves to set the pins up just as much as he loves to knock them down.He plays it with his 12 year old sister and it seems to be the only time that they don't bug eachother. They have a ball!we all do, the voices are cute, but I wish it was louder.Easy to clean up, and just plain fun!I think we will get lots of milage out of this game.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not so great for every youngster!
I bought this game for my boys after they already learned their letter sounds from the Letter Factory DVD (like everyone else, I HIGHLY recommend the DVD!)
    I've been disappointed because:
    1) Professor Quigley talks too much, and if several people are playing, it takes forever to get through everyone's turn! There's no way to skip Quigley's whole monologue with every letter. One active 5-yr. old boy thought it was "boring".His 3-yr. old brother played for a while, but also lost interest.
2.) The harder level of play asks for matching letters to letter sounds (which my kids can do) and also asks "What letter comes before B?" (which my kids totally don't understand.)The easier level of play asks kids to get a certain color of card, and then move forward a certain number of spaces.Too easy for the 5-yr old, but it works well for my 2-yr. old if I help move the marker.
3.) I lost a letter card from my set, and was thrilled when I called customer service and they offered to send a whole replacement set of cards!Several weeks later, I called back... found out the cards aren't in stock and they'll send them when available... I've been waiting THREE MONTHS now for a replacement set (although I'd be happy just to have the one missing card!)

5-0 out of 5 stars ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!
My son, who just turned 3 LOVES,LOVES,LOVES this game! He can play by himself or with us and he runs around the house singing his phonics sounds! We got him the LeapFrog Fridge Phonics last year to help him learn his letters, but once we got him the Letter Factory DVD, he really caught on and can play this at Level 2 providing he pays attention.Fully interactive, he can repeat the question with a push of a button and has several tries to answer correctly. Also, the game keeps track of each player and seems to advance everyone so they stay fairly close together. I also like that it continues past the first "winner" and lets the other players finish and win. This game is absolutely the bast of all the other we got him!

    4-0 out of 5 stars 2 players= 2 joysticks
I read one of the earlier reviews that suggested not to get the second joystick, but I ended up buying it anyway. I am so glad I did for several reasons:
    1. you cannot select 2 players w/o having a second controller
    plugged in.
    2. not having to pull one child off the system to allow the other child to have a turn.
We have almost every game for this system, and now both children can enjoy it:)

2-0 out of 5 stars JOYSTICK DILEMA
I BOUGHT THE V.SMILE SYSTEM FOR MY 3 YEAR OLD FOR CHRISTMAS THE GAMES ARE EDUCATIONAL AND SHE ENJOYS THE SYSTEM BUT IM DISSAPPOINTED THAT THE JOYSTICK HAS MALFUNCTIONED SO QUICKLY MY DAUGHTER GETS FRUSTRATED BECAUSE SHE CAN'T MOVE LEFT,RIGHT,UP OR DOWN. I E-MAILED VTECH WITH THE PROBLEM AND STILL HAVE NOT GOT A RESPONSE FROM THEM ITS GOING TO COST ME $14 PLUS SHIPPING TO PURCHASE ANOTHER JOYSTICK WITH THE HOPES THAT IT WILL WORK AND NOT MALFUNCTION LIKE THE FIRST ONE

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Joystick
This joystick is well-designed and great for little kids. The colored buttons flash when you're supposed to use them, the main button is big enough so that even very yound kids can be successful using it, and the cord is really long so you can sit anywhere.Even though my three kids are all right-handed I think it's cool that the stick can be reversed for left-handed kids.

One reviewer mentioned the second joystick isn't necessary for two player games.I agree that it shouldn't be necessary but it actually is necessary in the games we've played.Instead of two players playing at the same time, they take turns (this is how 2-player games work in The Lion King and Alphabet Park Adventure). The fact is that the players can't simply pass the same joystick back and forth. The second joystick is required.

I would have liked it if the V.Smile system and the joystick were designed like other gaming systems, whereby if you yank on the controller it will easily detach from the system before the console falls off of, say, a shelf or a tv.That would have been a good feature for a game designed for young kids. ... This enchanting activity game will keep younger kids happily distracted, whether it's played indoors or out. Step right up, boys and girls, for the greatest game in the living room! Balloon Lagoon, designed by the creators of Cranium, is possibly more fun than the carnival it emulates. After all, there's no sticky cotton candy mess, no nauseating rides…but plenty of entertaining activity for everyone. A noisy musical merry-go-round timer keeps the pressure on while players take turns fishing for letters to spell words, collecting matching snacks at the Snack Hut, pressing levers to spin wheels to unscramble pictures, or flipping frogs back into their pond. Players keep score by collecting little plastic balloons--the first person to fill a mover piece with 15 balloons wins. The game includes game board, timer, four carnival games, four player movers, 72 scoring balloons, and a balloon bag. Three AA batteries required (not included). You can pretty much assume that if it's Cranium, it's going to be a blast! --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for kids younger than five!
I bought this game because my four-year-old son has been really into board games lately, and I was getting bored of playing "Chutes and Ladders" and "Hi-Ho Cherry-O" ALL THE TIME. This game was an instant hit, both with him and with my two-and-a-half-year-old daughter. Because of the timer, it's fast paced and is great for introducing the element of competition (e.g. beat the clock) to your young child, which is, after all, a part of life. The four different areas of the game keep it varied and insteresting. None of the activites were too difficult for even my daughter to master. I would highly recommend this game to parents with kids younger than five. It's perfect for starting a tradition of family game night.

5-0 out of 5 stars Looks just like another toy with pieces for kids to lose
It was extremely fun, once we put all the pieces in place.I dreaded putting it together (it's not difficult, but has lots of small pieces), and thought that this was going to be another mind-numbing board toy experience.Instead, my son, who was four when he received it, had a BLAST!In fact, we all did (him, his father, me, my mother, and his buddy). He absolutely loves the music of the "timer" for the game (it's catchy, and not annoying at all), and the rules are straightforward but challenging enough for all to have a great time.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun For Everyone
We got this game over Christmas for my 4 and a half year old. It has been fun for her and our whole family to play. The four different activities are engaging, and what's even more exciting is that my daughter can play it by herself if she wants. And the game is a little different everytime you play, so it will last a long time as well. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Engaging science for young minds............
Although some of the questions/answers in this game are not educational, overall, I found this item to be great fun for the whole family. The questions have a range of difficulty, so when we play it with our 7 year old, he can answer some, and we adults don't get bored because we find others interesting. Some items are inappropriate, but we just omit those and ask another question or do another task that appears on the same card.
I would recommend this game to all parents who frequently play with their children, and are looking for something unique and fun for them, as well as the children.

    1-0 out of 5 stars Educational?? Scientific???NOT!!!!!
We bought the "Totally Gross" game for our son for a Christmas gift. When we looked at the game, we thought we were getting an educational game about science.

What we didn't know was that we got a game about rude behaviors.

After looking at the all cards, I was in shock. The number of body functions that are talke about is inappropraite. Also telling kids to stick fingers into their ears and into their mouths can be a health hazard.Telling the kids on the cards not to put their finger into their ear "too far" and to make sure they have "clean hands" before sticking their fingers into their mouths was a nice gesture BUT kids will be kids and do they really know when too far is enough or does it take a trip to the ER for a puncture ear drum!

I thought, surely there can't be that many cards with such offensive material so I started removing the offensive ones. I stopped at about 15 and decided the game is very inappropriate.

I'm not sure how this game has ANYTHING to do with the "major science disciplines", as quote on the box! I do not recommend this game to anyone unless you want your son running around telling everyone he needs to go "drain the lizard" when he needs to pee.

5-0 out of 5 stars Girls love gross stuff too!!!
I bought this game for my two girls..ages 8 and 6.They absolutely love it...lots of good gross stuff and lots of educational items even the adults thought were great. My husband and I even thought that this game would be great with our adult friends :) ... Read more

this is the best i now have an unstopable deck i finaly have exodias head all i need is the left arm and the right leg and i finaly have barrel dragon get this

4-0 out of 5 stars you people should get this set!
Rare cards come to papa! Konami is seriously ripping them selves off here! With this you get Relinquished, Dark ruler Ha des, exodia's head, Judgement of anubis, and other great cards. In addition to that you get the 6 earliest packs ever, most of them very hard to find or even out of print! Within those packs are some cardsthat are even better than the 6 holos! Cards like Raigeki(cant get much better!), Monster Reborn in holo form (not out of starter deck), Jinzo (woo hoo!!!), mirror force (woo hoo again),summoned skull holo form, Magic Cylinder and lots more. This set is great for beginners and experts alike. This set lodes you up with great cards to put in your deck and extra ones to trade for even better cards. And, just for some extra advice I'll order the packs that have came out so far from best to worst: 1)Metal raiders 2)legend of blue eyes 3)pharoah's Servant 4)labrynth of nightmare 5)legacy of Darkness 6)Dark Crisis 7)Ancient Sanctuary 8)magic ruler 9)Rise of Destiny 10)Soul of the Duelist 11)magicians force 12) Pharoanic gaurdian. I cant really put Flaming Eternity in a place yet because it just came out and I dont really know the cards that well. So I hope this reveiw is helpful to you.

Connect Four is like vertical tic-tac-toe. Unlike tic-tac-toe, however (as the name suggests), youmust get four checkers in a row. One player has red checkers; the other has black checkers. To play, alternate turns at dropping one of checkers down a slot at the top of the upright grid. The first player to getfour checkers lined up in a row in any direction--horizontal, vertical, or diagonal--wins the game.--Alison Golder ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars An EXCELLENT game with real play value!
I'd never seen this game before but it's turned out to be one of my two kids' favorite games. It's fun to play with just the pieces and to make simple patterns for decoration when you're not playing the "official" game, and throwing the lever that dumps the pieces out of the bottom is exciting, noisy and fun. Really a great game with real play value, a favorite! BUY IT!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great fun and there is even a movie about it!!
Connect four has always been a favorite of mine since i was a little kid. It is a simple game with simple rules, but yet it is still a game of stratagey and can stump even most adults. This spring of 2005 Upsidedown square productions will be releasing a new blockbuster hit movie about Connect four Titled "C4 A connect four movie" Check out how this childs game changes young uryans life around at https://www.turnuptheblaarg.tk .

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun, Easy Game
I had this game growing up and have played it with my children as well.My game from childhood is still in fine shape and was used regularly, but we took care of it and didn't fight over it or drop it.I can see how this game may break if misused a little.Anyway--it's a fun game and easy for little ones to pick up, but as other reviewers have said once you are well versed then it boils down to who goes first.I recommend for age 4 to 8 or 10. ... Horses hold a magical appeal for children. This colorfully designed board game provides an exciting fantasy environment for two to six horse lovers. In the first game, players pretend to be wild mustang stallions galloping through mountains and valleys, gathering a herd to protect while facing such obstacles as cougars and bad weather. The first player to round up a herd wins. In two other games, players are ranchers rounding up strays and competing to fill out their herds. Players are sure to enjoy the in-depth educational information about horses and horse breeds that is included. This is a great game to saddle up when it's rainy on the ranch, providing enough challenge to play with parents as well as with friends. --Lee Strucker ... Read more

It is fun and educational my friend and i spend hours playing it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Horsey Games
I've had this game for a long time. It is a great game because it has 3 different games. It is also very educational because it has facts about the different horses. My brother also likes it. Younger kids might choke on the small peices though. I love to look at all the different horses too. one was even named after me! Overall this is a fantastic game and a must have for horse lovers world wide!

5-0 out of 5 stars Tons of fun for horse lovers of all ages!!
This has been my favorite game since i was about five years old. Being a horse lover, i very much enjoy playing this game over and over again. My four year old and six year old love this game. It's probably their favorite.Yes, it requires spelling, but it's not difficult.Scooby's little roller coaster jumps up and collects the letters to spell out the word. But it's not like any points are docked for collecting a wrong letter. It's lots of fun.

Today’s video games with all their bells and whistles had to begin somewhere, and that somewhere was your living room, in, say, 1982.Remember Asteroids, Missile Command, and Breakout? How about Centipede, Adventure and Gravitar? This TV Games Video System--just a "smart" joystick and nothing else--delivers 10 classic games in all. The joystick has the typical up-down-left-right movements, and single functions to select, start, and reset games. Front-and-center is a big, red fire button ("fire" being the only way to propel or kill things back then). The unit hooks up to your TV via those yellow and white AV output jacks (which should already be on your TV or VCR), and requires 4 "AA" batteries. --Diane Beall ... Read more

It's so easy too! All the great classics for $20.00! Right there at home! It is not a waste of money at all!

4-0 out of 5 stars Old flashback classics - did Breakout® get weird?
I was a fanatic of the Atari 2600 - I owned one and I still have preserved it today. Yes, these games reminiscent me to the olden days playin' on me 2600. Even it is also imitating the traditional Atari 2600 controller!

    Downside:

Breakout® is a neat conversion though the problems with Breakout® is that the paddle sensitivity is too hard, which means it's too fast. These don't fit well for the Atari controller and it was designed to play on the Atari Paddle, that was another add-on controller that you turn on a scrolling wheel.

Does your Atari 2600 doesn't work anymore? Have you not preserved it? Do you miss those kind of games and want to go flasback style? Then this television game is for you! ... Read more

The classic carnival game of Whac-a-mole comes right into your house in this energetic and highly silly home version. The inherent cruelty of this game is tempered considerably by how much fun the moles appear to be having while receiving repeated blows to the head with big plastic mallets. It must help that each mole gets to wear a helmet, each a different color. One to four players can join in by whacking the critter in front of them during the "sign in" period at the beginning of the game. The object of the game, naturally, is to whack the moles as they pop up and players can choose to have them light up or not. Parents should be aware of course that they are giving big plastic mallets to very young children and the result will almost certainly be that one kid whacks another before too long. It’s just bound to happen. But if those energies can be re-directed toward the moles, this is a fun and silly way to play inside. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Stopped Working X2
We purchased this game for my son's birthday.Wish I would have read the reviews on here first. We all had quite a bit of fun with the game, but it stopped working after about 1/2 hour of play.I called the manufacturer the next day and they offered to send out a replacement. The person I spoke to on the phone said that I was the first one to call in with this problem. The second one arrived today... Well, my 4 year old was playing with it at the kitchen table while I was cooking supper. It stopped working!UNBELIEVABLE!!Well, my son is now very upset, asking if I still love him, etc.He thinks he broke this thing twice. He was hitting it with the mallet... but isn't that the whole idea?It did not get dropped, thrown or anything like that.I guess we will be returning it and getting a different toy.Too bad, it was pretty fun while it lasted.

5-0 out of 5 stars Definitelya winner!
My daughter received this for her 3rd birthday and it has been her favorite toy since then. She loves to imitate the sounds and whac the moles. The solo or easy game is just right for her age.I'd definitely recommend it.

Mexican Train is a wonderful all-ages game of skill and strategy for two to eight players. Trains of dominoes spread over the table as each player attempts to avoid being railroaded. The object of the game is to be the first player to play all of his dominos or to play a domino on the Mexican train. Add to your own train, start a new one on the central hub, or play on an opponent's "stalled" train. However, it's almost worth losing this game of Mexican Train just to press the electronic train hub and hear it whistle like a real locomotive! Includes nine train games pieces, decent instructions, and 91 pro-size double-twelve color-dot dominoes--all stored in a convenient train-shaped metal tin. --Deb Oroszlan ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun, but not rollicking fun
I gave this game to two sets of neices and nephews this Christmas. I played it a few weeks ago and I thought is was good for math skills, but it seemed like with the younger kids they would get impatient while waiting their turn. It just seems like they were easily distracted and didn't pay attention to what other people were playing because it moved a bit slow.

Although it looks like it could house any number of missiles, lasers, or other weapons, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Disk Launcher is meant strictly for card-based combat. Which isn't to say that the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game isn't exciting; it's phenomenal popularity can attest to that. This accessory, worn on the arm and modeled after the kind used by characters on the Yu-Gi-Oh! television show lets players lay cards out in either attack or defense positions and also features magic and trap card slots. It also features an illuminated number display and a disk that moves into a new dueling position at the push of a button. Perhaps not an ideal introduction to the world of Yu-Gi-Oh!, but probably a must-have item for the legion of faithful fans. Need an icebreaker? Want to work out some aggression without shin guards and helmets? Popomatic Trouble, Milton Bradley's classic race-and-chase game, is guaranteed to bring out your competitive side. Try to outstrip your opponents as you race your pawns around the colorful plastic board to safety. Should you have the good fortune to land on a space occupied by another player, you can send him reeling back to start, where he must wait for a six to pop up (literally) on the capricious dice bubble in the center of the board. Once liberated, your foe is free to reciprocate--now you're in Trouble.

The crystal ball on which the fates of all rest, a.k.a. the Popomatic Dice Bubble, is the genius behind this game, and is one reason it has become a classic. Encased in its bubble, the die never goes flying, rolls off the table, or gets lost. Simple to learn and exciting to play, Popomatic Trouble is a game that never loses its thrill. 4-0 out of 5 stars Trouble - Popomatic - Good Family Fun
Trouble is a classic game - Milton Bradley brings us the classic board game that is fun for the whole family to play.
Four players can play this, my only concern is the popper, I wonder how long it will last, the metal popper is a little flimsy and may break over extended use - we'll see. You can always use some dice as a backup.Game is fun for the family to play.

I purchased this along with Connect Four, good games next to Checkers and Chess.

3-0 out of 5 stars They sure do make them like they used to.......
My (6 year old) daughter received this classic for Christmas and we played the game that evening. Suffice it to say, the instuctions are the same and the fun of the game is the same as when I received it as a gift MANY years ago, however the durability has gone down hill big time. I cannot believe how cheap it is now, from the cheesy cardboard used with the graphics under the board, to the cheaper feeling plastic used for the pegs. The popomatic dice keeper even feels cheap and 1/2 the time my daughter pops it, it remains on the same number on the dice. Aren't there any companies out there that take pride in their products anymore? It seems not. I can't wait to open the Connect Four game - hopefully it won't fall apart before we play it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Could be made a lot better...
I'm a 27 year old mother of 3.I remember loving this game when I was a kid. I was so dissapointed when I opened this game. I couldn't believe how cheesey it is.You can barely 'POP' the dice. And when my kids POP the bubble all the game pieces fly around. Plus the bottom of the game has a pop in piece of cardboard.Shouldn't the bottom be covered with hard plastic??

I also wish there was something to hold all the pieces because my kids (like many others) abuse the box and all of the pieces fall out and get lost.
****Can't the board game makers start making harder cases or Tins so we all don't have a stack of smashed boxes and missing pieces.

The game itself is fun...but I ended up throwing it away because pieces got lost way to fast. ... Read more
