I love UNO
I grew up playing this game with my Grandma and I recently taught my husband. Its a very simple game but it is alot of fun especially if you love card games which we do.

NOT a boring game if you know how to play it
Uno is a very entertaining game and it goes by real fast so it does not take forever to complete and the rules are very simple and easy to learn. This game is only boring if you are someone who is so pathetic (like s. martin) that you cannot comprehend the simple rules to play this game.

A toyfun for all ages!
Uno is currently my favorote game because I play with it about once in two days. It's more fun to play it with 3 or more people than 2 people because there's more action. Buy this instead of Candyland
We recently got this game for my son after reading the reviews here.I had never heard of this game before but it seemed like fun.It is pretty much the same idea as Candyland (advancing pieces based on pure luck of the draw with the goal of making it to the end) but a little more educational.Instead of color cards this game has cards with numbers on them.If you draw a 5 you advance five spaces, etc.There are also cards that have you go backwards.

Reminisce!
My sister, brother and I gave this game to our Mom for Mother Day in 1959. Our father was not very happy with our choice of gifts.He ended up giving us more money to buy something more suitable for mom.We were lucky though, because mom did let us use her Uncle Wiggle game.We had so much fun.It was one of the games that we enjoyed the most.I'm very excited about buying this game for my daughter.I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great game.Helps with counting and reading.

We LOVE this game.
This is a wonderful game!!!My 6 year old loved to play Monopoly, but it was very hard for her and no fun for me.This version is WONDERFUL!!! My little girl can count out her own money and tell me what to pay when I land on her property.I like and want to play this game with my daughter. My 3 year old can also play this game with a little help.

Ok for kids
I baby sit a lot, so I bought this for when the kids come over. It's not hard at all, there isn't much thinking involved and the kids actually enjoyed it. But I will say that they outgrew it really fast. Pretty soon they were wanting to play "real" Monopoly with the "big kids". And I must say, they won a lot!
Over-all though, it's a good starting point to a good "real" Monopoly player.

My son's favorite game!
My son receive this as a gift when he was four. He loved playing this game on the computer and loves the board game version even more. We have lost a few of the "ticket booths" but when you're five that just doesn't matter. A great way to start the foundation of adding and subtraction. Disney makes the magic shine...
This is so much fun... but it is still as long as the original.I love this one better because I am a Disney freak!Everything about the game has a Disney theme now.But the rules are the same as the first one.If you are a fan of Monopoly then you will also love this version long as you like Disney.I find it great for the family to sit down and play!Just as long as they have patience as it can be a quite long game at times.

MY FAVORITE MONPOLY GAME!!!!!!!
I just got this game last year and it is fun to play by myself and it is fun. I can pick what sides to be on and I always picked the darkside of the force. I recomend this game for any hard core star wars fans like me.

Where are all our favorite characters?
Star Wars Monopoly - great idea.Leaving out Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C3-PO, Yoda, Jabba, Boba Fett, and / or a Stormtrooper seems inexcusable.Why did they include a TIE Fighter Pilot, Tusken Raider, and Grand Moff Tarkin?Did they even ask the fans what characters they'd want?Great idea, just poorly executed.Hasbro, we expect more from you.

For a Star Wars junkie, perhaps...
The mechanics of the game are generally true to Monopoly.I really love the Star Wars films and I have read fair amount of Star Wars fiction, but I found the unique place names a tad too obscure to make play easy the first time around.

If you have a die-hard Star Wars fan who knows all the names of all the characters, and the planets they are from, this is probably the game for them.

Don't bother - get the real thing.
Scrabble Jr. uses cheap materials for a not-all-that-cheap price. It simplifies the scoring, but that removes the reward for using the harder letters... and if you really want to do a 1-point-per-letter scoring system with no bonus spaces on the board, it would be easy enough to implement that with a regular set. The board is smaller, so it actually makes the game harder as you go along, because you run out of space at the edges to make the words you'd like to. The basic skill of constructing words isn't any easier with this game than with an adult set, and I think the simplified scoring takes a lot of the fun out of the game. I'm getting a Scrabble Deluxe set to use with my 6 and 9 year old kids - they'll need some help, but no more so than with Scrabble Jr. and it will be a more satisfying and more durable game.

My daughter received this game as a gift.We Love It.She wants to play it all the time.It is a great spelling game.She is 6 years old and just started to read and loves to spell.Excellent Game

Kind of deficient
I was excited at the prospect of a scrabble game I could play with the little children I babysit for.Unfortunately, this game relied neither on the luck that evens the playing field nor a skill a young child could pick up quickly enough to start winning enough.So unless I play dumb, I wind up winning each time.Also, I found the layout of the game to be especially poor for two reasons.First, as the featured reviewer noted, the cartoony pictures obscure the first letters of words.Second, the choice of words is so poor, it slows down the spelling process, especially at the beginning, when the variety of options is very limited.It seems the creators of the game just played a few rounds of Scrabble (TM) and said "Hey, this one looks good for kids" and didn't do any playtesting.So in conclusion, rather than looking at an educational game designed for children, what we have is a recognizable brand name that has been adapted to take advantage of a heretofore unregocnized market share.In other words, just trying to make a quick few bucks. ... Lots of fun!
We received this game as a birthday present and my boys, ages 9,8 and 5, love it!The Event Cards kept things interesting and unpredictable.We did help my 5 year old with a little strategy in choosing the quickest ways to reach all his attractions, but by the end of the game he had the hang of it.The pieces are durable and very well packaged.Great game!

A negative review???
I can't believe I just read a negative review of this game.This is one of the most fun and entertaining games my children and I have ever played.My kids are 11 and 7 and they both love it.It's a GREAT family game that teaches strategy and thinking ahead.The spaces are just fine in size.The only problem is seeing the spaces behind the castle.That's it.Otherwise, it's wonderful.We love to use this game to reminisce about our Disney trips as well!

THIS IS THE WORST BOARD GAME EVER
I was really shocked to see ANY positive reviews of this game. It was the worst game I've ever played in my entire life. I played it with my 5 year old who loves everything and he hated it too. I'm not the kind of person to return something unless it is broken but I returned this after the first time playing it.
The rules are complicated.
The spaces are too small to count when you are moving.
There is little to no fun or imagination in playing the game.

Fun for Adults!
Toss Across is a classic toy.We purchased this toy because we remembered playing it when we were kids... and I think I'm enjoying it more now than I did twenty years ago.Because it's a mix of skill and luck, anybody can win (kids can beat adults), but it's still a great toy to bet on.

I only wish it held together a little better... the little plastic wedges that are used to hold the support bars tight tend to fall out pretty often (we've already lost one).However...we could always replace the whole thing.

Great Childhood memories

This Toy was pretty good the most valueable cards in this deck would have to be cards like The Dragon Dwelling in the Cave, Soul Exchange, Dust Tornado, and most importantly Kaiser Sea Horse because it help's me bring out my Blue Eye's. Exxxcellent!!!!
This is an extremely great version of what is the greatest board game ever created.The rules are of course exactly the same but the Simpsons properties, money, Chance and Community Chess cards and everything else make it a fresh experience.The fact that the game board and game tokens are monorail themed does date it a little reducing it to a four and a half star rating. I would have preferred it wasn't that way with just the four train stations monorail themed.It is still great though but I would also like to have seen more game tokens of the other family members especially Grandpa and Maggie, and also other characters like Mr Burns in addition or instead of the doughnut.They could have also put Snake in the jail cell on that corner of the board rather than the traditional Monopoly criminal icon and Chief Wigum on the Go to Jail Square but maybe I'm just being picky.

This is an excellent gift idea for anyone who even only occasionally enjoys the Simpsons and a must for anyone who is a fan.Also recommended to enjoy the game even more is Monopoly Companion The Players Guide by Philip Orbanes. This book will refresh the rules and save arguments and even teach you some, such as I never knew the number of houses was limited for a reason so that you could strategise and not buy hotels to stop someone else with a set from building.Just buy the game, you won't be disappointed!

Not for Families
I agree with the other review. We bought this to play with the family. I do not know why it is even called Family Fued. The questions are inappropriate for kids. Way too much about sex. My kids after the first time playing asked "What is a stripper"? Not the way they need to learn about grown up topics. I am very dissapointed in the company for making these questions. If they want adult topics make a seperate game for that!

My family & neighbors have asked to play this game often since we bought it.It has been a hit in our household.I even popped the DVD in and play by myself one night!It seems geared more for an adult crowd though.

Great fun and learning
I have two kids that play this game, 5 and 3. We have had this game for about a month and play it almost everyday. Tonight my 3 year old and I were looking at a US map and as I pointed to each state he named them one after another.He only missed two.My kids also have and enjoy the book of the same name.I highly recommend this game for fun and learning.

Great way to learn while having fun!
My kids, 6, 8, 10 love playing this game!!It's a great way to learn geography without realizing it.To make a little more challenging and interesting, change the rules around or make-up your own questions.Great game for a snowy day.Your only limit is your imagination!!

Educational Fun for all
My 10 and 6 year old kids love this game.It's easy enough for younger kids to enjoy, but interesting enough for adults to play as well.Kids get a good lesson in American Geography while trying to be the fastest one to spot one of their cards with a certain characteristic.While the 6 year old enjoys the game, I will say that reading skills are necessary to prevent frustration.It's a colorful, sturdy (aside from the paper maps that are used to determine which state is closest during the "go the distance" cards that might come up as one of the challenges) colorful, fun game.I highly recommend it to anyone with kids of reading age. ... I am sorry I bought this game
My grandson is 11 and he just isn't interested in this game.I bought both of the River Crossing games, for Christmas, and he hasn't even looked at the second one.

River Crossing Is VERY Addicting!
I received this game for Christmas, and I hadn't even asked for it.I absolutely LOVE it.

The game consists of the main puzzle tray, plastic stumps, a little magnetic man, 5 magnetic plastic boards of different sizes, 40 puzzle cards (ranging in difficulty), and a carrying bag to store everything (which comes in handy!).

This game really gets you thinking, and you actually find yourself thinking AHEAD by many moves.The object of the game is to get the little man from one side of the river, to the other.You do so, by moving planks from stump to stump.Sometimes you have to drop a plank off at a convenient location, just to pick it up later on when you need it.

I started playing it and couldn't stop!Once you start getting the hang of it, you find yourself wanting to continue as you figure out the easier puzzles.I must say, that as they become more difficult, you REALLY need to think ahead by looking at the pieces you need towards the "end" of the crossing.Don't drag boards that you don't need (and DON'T drop them in places that hinder your crossing!).

I definitely recommend this game for people who enjoy puzzles, or games in general.The harder puzzles may be too difficult for a younger child to enjoy, and they may get bored with it.ALSO- there are MANY small parts that could be a choking hazard for small children.Make sure you keep the parts in the bag, and keep it out of reach!

River Crossing - Another hit from ThinkFun!
ThinkFun succeeds once again, with a simple idea... lay down logs to find a path from start to finish across the river.Place your logs carefully, and you'll get where you need to go, but don't get in your own way, and you can't jump over the water.40 challanges included (plus 40 more in River Crossing 2!), that will keep even adults busy for quite a while.

Highly recommended for those visual / spatial gifted kids, and thier parents ;-)Stores in it's own nylon bag, a plus, since there are more than a few loose pieces.

The Ultimate Lord of the Rings Game
Even though the description typed on the websites are way off base, it's called read the actual box on the game to find out that it is 600 questions on 2 DVDs, the game is wonderful.Even my wife, who HATES Lord of the Rings, enjoyed playing this.Being able to use both the cards and DVDs is a wonderful feature, you can literally play dozens of times without getting the same questions twice.If you like the movies, if you think you know them like I do, you will love this game.Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!!! ... BUNCO a great party game
This game was very interesting, me and my friends had a great time. when ever they come over the ask to play BUNCO.

Boring...
I played this game a bunch of times today. The game was pointless, slow, and boring. The only thing I liked was ringing the bell. The point of the game is to roll 21 ones, then twos, then threes, etc. How lame is that.

Great Product, Great Gaming Action for kids 4 - 12
We bought this for our Grandchildren, ages 6 and 9, and it was (and still is) one of their favorite toys, getting used nearly every day after school. Good could be Better....
This game is fun but it is also tricky.I have the game in a collectors tin which makes for nice keeping.I have fun playing this game as I love board games but I can find some of the questions extremely tricky for adults as I wasn't old enough for a lot of the ?'s and then for the children's ?'s many are too easy.So this game can get frustrating for us playing it.I do wish they would come out with more ?'s as some have suggested as I too have finished mine.I still have fun playing this game, but find those few things a con in this great game.

Just a Little Disappointed
I agree with the other reviewers that this game is a lot of fun but there is only one small box of cards (1/2 adult and 1/2 child questions). My daughter and I played 2 games and had already gone through the cards. Even though we didn't get the same questions most of the time it was still disappointing. I called Hasbro and they have no plans of making additional cards for this game, which is really too bad. Does anyone else remember when Trivial Pursuit had 2 huge boxes of questions and the other question boxes that you could purchase?

A fun game for everyone
I got this game from my hubby for Christmas, and I have to say that I'm not disappointed.It covers many of the Disney animated movies, starting with "Steamboat Willy" from 1928 and going right up to "Tarzan" from 1999.And the questions aren't all "Who is this character?"...some of them are quite challenging, especially if you haven't seen the particular movie!
The game comes with 2 sets of cards - the adult questions and the children questions, so everyone can play.

In this electronic adaptation, the hangman is a cowboy in a Western town. There are 11 chances to correctly guess the word from a memory bank of 8,000 words arranged in 10 categories. The game fits in the palm of a hand, and there's much to control. Select the skill level and word length (even whether or not to have sound effects play a victory tune when the cowboy is saved from the rope). Only Level 1 allows the player to pick from categories like Animals, City, Music, and Wild West. Otherwise, it's as random as traditional Hangman. Great Game
I am in general one that loves the game Hangman.This electronic, handheld version made that much easier for me for several reasons.First of all, if you don't have anyone else to play with (for instance, your family doesn't like hangman as much as you do, like me), then you are all set, because you can play this all by yourself.I also like the fact that there are several categories, and THEN you can choose how long you want the word to be.
I like this game because of my love for Hangman/words.
I really don't have a strong feeling about its educational value, however it does teach some things.
I have so far not broken mine, and I've had it for a while now.
Overall, I think this version of Hangman is an absolute Must Have.
