response to poor review: GI Joe accessories are props
As a mom of four boys (one who actually is a Marine), I know that the items that come with the GI Joe's are really "props"--none of them are intended for the type of play these parents had in mind.Many people who buy these action figures view them as collectibles.My youngest son does collect GI Joe's--the Marines, especially.

You need to do a little more research before you buy a toy for your kids, otherwise you will end up disappointed.There are better choices out there if you want your children to have "interactive" fun with their action figures.

This toy STINKS!
My husband bought this toy for my son because he loves parachutes. There are no instructions on how to attach the parachute to the action figure and no plausible way of doing it. The parachute is of pretty good quality, but if it cannot be attached to the toy or CANNOT BE USED AS A PARACHUTE it is useless and frustrating and disappointing to a little boy AND his father!!! The quality of the accessories is very cheap also, since the gun and scope fall apart if touched. ... Read more

Love the Jet!
My (...) son absolutely loves this jet. With all of the sounds and features described in the previous reviews, the jet keeps him entertained and keeps his imagination flowing. The only feature I don't like is that so many parts, i.e. wing tips, pilot cockpit cover, and missile cover break off so easily. But they do reattach easily, and do seem to be quite durable. This jet has been dropped and stepped on quite a few times as well, and without anything breaking, so it is built well for a toy. I bought it for $5 less at Target, and overall it has been a great purchase.

EXCELLENT Jet
My boys LOVE this jet....they are 4 1/2 and love planes/jets.They also are fascinated by "army" guys...so we thought this would be a hit.

They love to fly it around...it has a nice handle for them to hold while doing this.It also came with a guy (or 2? I can't recall).The jet shoots little missiles, which is neat, and it has other missile pieces on the sides.

Sometimes they pop off parts of the wings, or the part which covers the missiles (which you reload), but everything snaps back on easily.

Great toy for boys ages 4 and up.

Based off the F-22 Raptor, Hasbro has done right by this jet for most gi joe fans the fack you and shoot the missles and use the sound effect without pulling down the handles will be a high light.For me thow it was the bomb/missle sights (you look down the back end of the engine and it depends on what you have selected on what you see, Missle mode looks forward, bomb mode looks down.While the sound voice telling you banking left/right, pulling up, and going down are abit of a headack but still a neat part of the jet an on off swich would have been nice. with 2 sets of bombs that drop from the trigger and 10 missles that shoot out from a internal launcher, all this makes me say...worth every penny. go buy

has a VARY nice looks closer to USAF pilot then most the other Joe pilots but hes just gravy to add on this deal

He comes as a bonus (at least on the 2 I bought) hes a great figure to have if you missied out on this one for what ever reason here is your chance to pick him up agein (only draw back i have of this guy is hes the same ace right down to his color as the one that came with the tigerhawk)

Overall
Bluntly... GI Joe has NOT had a strong jet sents the 80's (skystriker hint hint) personaly think there on the right track with this one is a vary nice jet and the figures are great.Should almost paint Ace green with envy over this one. (poor ace stuck in the tigerhawk) ... Read more

AWSOME G.I.JOE CREATION
This box is awsome! It comes with alot of acesories. The bad thing is sometimes when the box flips over and you have your things inside,they might get mixed up with other things. But who cares,it has alot of room for things and comes with some acesories.

Good Buy
This is a fairly good item that every serious GI Joe collector should have.One such locker can hold 2, 12" figures and a ton of different accessories.

Thanks to this little box I don't have a single lost or broken piece and my figures look brand new!

The accessories accompanying the item are very realistic and look just like the real weapons and equipment.Very educational and true to the military.

The only defect I had was a loose barrel on my M16A2, - rather than that it's a good deal and a great addition to any GI Joe collection.

THis new GIJOE 6 pack of figures is splendid.......I haven't picked it up from toys r us or got it on EBAY yet but I have all of the other ones since Hasbro started releasing these in 2002. (...) I love GIJOE and have been a fan and have hundreds of 80's and 90's figures in my collection.......AND I AM OVER 13

Finally Get Those Unknown Troops!
How many times have you read the comics or seen the old tv show and seen about a load of these guys just running around? Almost everytime they were in the background somewhere. Well now we can give the GI Joe team the backup they need. You get 6 greenshirts that each has a different military specialty (no none of them are on KP duty either). Now there are some good things and some bad things about the set that kinda throws you off. First I have to throw this part in there because in a way, it annoys me but I guess its not too bad. Ok if you look at the picture of the figures you'll see 2 dark figures that look identical, as well as 2 other figures sharing the same mold, one with red hair and the other with brown hair. The other 2 figures are a black haired guy with a mustache and a blonde guy. Well first off if you tried to compare these guys to the filecards on the back you can't since all the guys on the filecards are clean shaven and have helmets covering their hair color (funny thing is if you look real close to the file cards, 2 of the guys appaer to be blonde with the hair you barely see). It only annoys me cause we have a marksman, communications, vehical, counter intelligence, heavy weapons, and infantry specialist that I have no idea which guy they go to. Though I made up my mind who is who (blonde is leader of this group while the 2 dark guys are twins) other people might want to know a bit about them. You can put on the filecard a code name for these guys, but as I said earlier, hard to match up filecards and figures. My other gripe is that one of these guys is suppose to be a communications specialist but there is no computer or any telecommunications equipment here at all. You do get those is all the guys in basic green with the same helmets, same standard backpack, all 6 with the same rifle and a bunch of other weapons. Yeah I know I put this set down a bit, but those don't matter since this set is still a winner with the load of weapons, endless possibilities for these guys, plus a customizers dreams since you can replace heads if you don't want the same guys or even paint these guys cobra blue and make them Cobra troops (which i started doing to one set I have and they look great). Definately check this set out and get your hands on it before they are gone! ... Read more

Mountain Division Elite Figure
This is a great GI Joe.The skis are awesome.The poles don't break very easily, they bend a little bit.His gun is vary durable.Overall I would give it five stars.

Very entertaining for almost 3 weeks
It looks fun, but most kids like sets with more weaponry.

THIS TOY RULES!!
Voice FX Duke is the best GI Joe toy ever! He comes with ALOT of accessories and talks loudly and clearly. With his loud voice and lots of gear (three of them with launching missles) this could be the loved toy of every kid. I know I love it.

All Baby Annabell products

A decent set to get
A nice 2 pack to get which is usually only seen on the internet every once in a while. Snake eyes looks top notch in black and his almost original figure outfit (minus roadblocks waist which still works on with him). His weapons include a submachine gun, a sword, backpack, and either binoculars or an explosive pouch (heard different people with different ideas on what it is). Scarlett has her original outfit with just a slight change in the shade of colors. Her weapons include a crossbow, 2 swords, and a backpack. One thing you will notice that unlike most figures now, she only looks left and right, not up and down as well. If you look closely you can see her color makes it that way. Just a side note in case you were wondering, besides that I suggest you get this 2 pack right away as they are getting harder and harder to find. ... Read more

Zartan, Evil Master of Disguise...
Well, it certainly is nice to see some 12" figures of our favorites from the 80's.This figure of Zartan looks similar to his old 80's cartoon self (minus the Cobra symbol on his body armor).

For those of you who build dioramas and so forth, I would suggest that you take him out of this silly looking body armor and circus pants, and put him into a US Service Uniform. Place the clean-shaven mask in one hand, and a pistol in the other.Have only his head fully revealed to show his true identity.Wow, now he looks just like he did when he surprised the GI Joe team so many times in the cartoons!

Duke:"General, why did you order the troops out of here?"

This is a must have Gi Joe toy.
This is THE best GI Joe two-pack so far.It comes with a okay Duke and a blowout Venomous Maximus.Venomous Maximus is the best action figure so far.He looks like a roman gladiator/viking warrior rolled up in one.Every inch of him screams POWER(and he has brains too if you look at his file card)!!!!! He has 12 points of articulation and comes with a removable cape that actually stays when you put it on.His joints are tight but not so much that you can't play with him.He is very detailed and looks very realistic. His left arm is huge and mutated and looks like it could tearoff Duke's head with one pull. He is bigger than the other joes and looks tall and frightening when placed next to them. His weapons are a very cool looking staff that when placed in that mutated arm I can imagine doing a lot of damage to poor Duke. He also comes with a small dagger.Venomous Maximus is worth the $6.00 all by himself and is worth your money. Now for Duke. Duke is okay he has 12 points of articulation also but is nowhere near as detailed as VM. His weapons are good however. His rifle separates into 3 pieces(so don't worry if it comes apart, it's NOT broken) and is very neat. Other than that there is nothing else to say about Duke other than that this version is much better than his butt-plug version.Overall I would buy this pack for Venomous Maximus alone because he is a must have for any GI Joe fan. ...
