Young and Old Harry Potter fans enjoyed this toy!
I purchased this toy for a four year old who knows everything about Harry Potter.He needs a little help with making the various "magic" tricks work, but he absolutely loves it.The idea of using an air fan to "levitate" things is very clever and fasinating to the older HP fans.The tricks work very similar to Harry Potter's Levitating Challenge game if you have any experience with that. The glasses and wand are pretty small and I expect they will be damaged or lost soon.

In store better prices!
Wonderful toy, however you can get it for a little over $2 in store at Toys-R-Us while they are having their 70% off sale. I went to Toys-R-Us and bought over $70 worth of Harry Potter toys and it rang up to only $25!

Spectacular Sculpt Of An Older Harry
Let's face it, Harry is getting to be a big boy now.This figure captures that very well.The attention to detail is brilliant.Purchasing it only as a collectable, I'm very pleased with this action figure.I only hope that there is a Ron or Hermione figure out if another movie is made, so that I'll have all three of the youngsters for my collection.

The toy shoots its "spells" like any other toy of this caliber.It isn't very educational unless you think that kids will read more "Harry" books after being inspired by this toy.The toy holds up very well, but I've only used it a couple of times because I purchased it simply for my collection of figures from film and books.

Bus but where's little characters?
Bus... I saw it, touch it, study it... well it's good for storage but as playset.. so-so because when I read it said hold sort of number of minis (due to slots) but there are more minis... Good idea for young kid to play with it as "bus" itself than lego.

I totally agreed about mini characters... Well I am not happy with Mattel company. I feel like they are toying with us. I never saw series 2 and 3 in stores. Bam! Saw them on ebay. That is not right. It's lot of unfairness. Still... Mattel need a lot of learn to listen to us what we need rather than take advantage of us with "false hope (As sneaking shock on Ebay.)" It was like withholding information from us.

Fun Fun Fun - and can't be scattered all over the house
I bought this for my son as an alternative to the lego version. MUCH cheaper and will be played with over and over as opposed to built once and then sitting in pieces all over the house. I am so sick of those Harry Potter lego sets.... but I digress. That is a subject for a different review.

Anyway, the bus is indeed fun. The characters don't stand very well in the slots, as was mentioned by a previous reviewer, BUT remember those hotwheel collection cases we had when WE were kids? It is like those. The purpose is to store all your mini-characters.

That brings me to my final point. Mini-characters. Where the heck are they? Why on earth would they stop selling them and make them such a hot and expensive item on Ebay? They still sell the bus, for crying out loud. I would have to say that unless you are prepared to shell out big bucks for the characters, don't invest in the bus. That is why I only gave this item 3 stars overall.

All that aside, my son has gotten tons of mileage out of his Knight Bus. A big hit.

Dare I say it...
Dare I say I don't like this toy? Considering past reviews, probably not. All I'll say is it is completely un-realistic, badly made, undetailed, and un-proportioned. Has anyone else on earth realized the snitch is WAlNUT sized? Apparently not. Or maybe you've all never seen a walnut. Now consider this: If you were flying 100ft above the ground on a STICK, would YOU wear enormous sunglasses/goggles? Neither would I.

best quidditch figure yet
This figure is completely articulated.He's got a magnetic hand to catch the snitch with. It even comes with a stand for display.I've got the other quidditch figures and I have got to say that this one is much better. It even comes with a Firebolt.

GREAT!!!!!!!
This toy is great for kids my age.(10) This toy is very durable, it takes a lot of strenth to take apart the polly-pocket sized figures.This toy is'nt very educational because of all the witchcraft. (Harry Potter) Keep this toy out of reach of 3 year olds. All around this toy is great!!!

I love it!
I'm a 14 year old Harry Potter fan and when I saw this I just had to have it. It didn't take me very long at all to remove it from the package, unlike what others have said. I agree that the pieces are small, and there should be more, but they're still fine. I've been careful and haven't lost a single figure. Along with the castle, I also have all the other add-on sets that are available so far. I like the sound effects that the castle makes, and it's more fun with the other sets added on to the side. The rooms are on the small side, but still big enough to fit in the characters and sct out scenes. Overall, I love it and think that it's great. However, I'm not sure how well little kids would do with the toy. I guess it depends on the kid.

The Best Toy in the World!!!
I am a 12 year old girl who LOVES Harry Potter! This is truely fantastic!It comes with many characters:Harry,Ron,Hermione,Snape,the Troll, and invisible Harry.I love all of the rooms and in the back, the Mirror of Errised.It is worth it's high price.Even though the backgrounds are sickers, well some of them,the creators did a nice job of making look realistic! worst x-mas gift ever
i got this from my aunt and uncle, and i thought it looked fun. there really isnt much to do with it, since harry always wins. it makes a very strange noise,too. it is very irritating. it is at the bottom of my closet.

Lost the snitch
We gave this to our 7-year-old on Christmas.He tried it briefly, then our 4-year-old lost the tiny snitch, which was only about 1/8 inch wide.We scoured the house, but never found it.They still play with the game a little, but it's not as fun and is definitely not worth its price without the snitch.

TINY TINY TINY TOY
If you purchase this toy remember to look at the size.It is tiny.The quidditch is approximately 2mm wide, along with Harry who is 1" tall.Harry does not stay where he should, it is almost impossible to get him to stick on the broom.Not a good toy for kids under 35!!Just too small, and too easy to lose, once lost, lost for good. ... How did they do that?!?!?!?
I bought it... Most of my Harry Potter are carded but few of them are out... I was awared that this toy was made in 2001... then I like to put in two figures... One Harry and one Lockhart for nice look and displaying it...

Shocked enough to see name Professor Lockart in light in that toy!!! I know that Dueling Lockart was made in THIS YEAR (2003)! How did they do that?!?!? I am very curious with next figure stands in... Hmm...

Unbelievably cool!
We got this toy on a clearance for my son who is a huge Harry Potter fan.We thought since it was inexpensive, who cares if it's a silly toy?He'll enjoy it.I just can't believe how cool it is!We all love watching the different action figures "battling" each other.The laser spells out their names, shows the spells being cast, and has a voice narrating.I don't know how it works, but we have spent hours playing with it! It is a little difficult for smaller children to use, but hey, more fun for mom and dad.

Why don't they make more of the booster paks?
It is fun to see the different pieces.We unfortunatly got this much later than when it came out and it was difficult to find more of the booster paks that contain the collectable stones/spells and action figures that you can add for duels. It is more than a playset, it is the start of a collection.If you already have the figures and stones, you have to have this! ... Read more
