Cons and Pros
While a good set for chasing down hard to find figures like Green Goblin (which is why I wanted this set) or Electro. The Figures are good if you don't plan to take it out of the box. But if you try to play around with the articulation you'll find they're not as durable as it could be.

Green Goblin for one has both his arms badly supported that if you movie it too much from the torso the 1 thin piece of plastic that's supporting both arms would come loose.

I had a problem again with the durability of Spider-Man. Usually when you buy a new action figure you have to literally break into it cause most of these Marvel Legends figures have really stiff joints that you hav to turn and you'll feel a click inorder to loosen it and pose it. Well, everything was fine till one of the arms refused to rotate and and instead the arm tore off. I had to reconnect it by making a small hole between the forearm and upper part of the arm and using the metal part of a push-pun to reconnect it.

Another con is not all the figures are fully articulate like most of the Marvel Legends figures are like Doc Ock has the least beside the deltoid muscles being fully articulate, the rest of the figure's articulation is just like the old 90s Marvel figure.
Green Gobline also lack articulation on the hand and wrist, the pro to that is though is his hands are really well sculpted.

The best figure in the set with no problems is Venom which uses a repainted Marvel Legends Sabretooth body with full articulation which is a step up from the regular Spiderman line Venom and Electro is well sculpted and fully articulate.

The worst figures are probably Kraven the Hunter and Blackcat.

Overall there are cons and pros to this set. You'll have to weigh it out yourself.

Spidey and the Sinister Five
This would be one wicked set if it wasn't for the Black Cat. I was excited that the Cat was getting a Marvel Legend figure and it looked good while it was still in the box. Once I took it out I was disappointed. It is simply overarticulated so that it won't even stay standing with it's base. The rest of the figures in this set were great. Electro is easily my favorite,the articulation on this figure is perfect and the likeness is spot on.

Buyer Beware!
I had trouble with the Green Goblin figure in which the hand/forearm separated from his arm.At each point of articulation it seems that whatever is used to "finish" the piece causes it to stick.The Goblin's arm separated at this "point of articulation".No problem; I'll just ask Toy Biz to replace the piece for me because it was clearly defective.However, after speaking with a customer service rep, I was offered given the "choice" to send the entire set of all seven figures back.BUT, the customer service rep said that I may NOT receive a Spiderman & the Sinister Six set back.It could be replaced with another set such as the Fantastic Four.What a bunch of baloney!Who would replace a defective product with something out of their grab bag?!I bought this set and I want THIS set!They are great figures but I can guarantee that the "points of articulation" will also stick on your set and one of yours may even separate.Then line up in the "Suckers" line behind me. ... We imagine that constantly traveling via slung web from one skyscraper to another can get a little tiring for our old friend Spiderman. When he feels like moving about in a bit more luxury, Spidey prefers this stylish and well-appointed copter. In contrast to its occupant's primarily red attire, the copter is mostly blue with a few red accents here and there. The cockpit easily holds the included five-inch Spiderman figure (or any five inch figure you might have lying around) and there's a heady arsenal of spring-loaded missiles to fire at Green Goblin or whomever is causing trouble in New York. A set of spider legs on the bottom of the copter can grip to capture and hold those very troublemakers. The missiles and grippers are activated by a trigger on the sizable handle underneath the craft. While one might think the handle would detract from the fantasy of the experience, it's actually a benefit: the copter is easier to manipulate and the copter, free of hands all over it, looks more realistic when being played with. --Charlie Williams ... no complaints
After reading the other reviews I was hesitant to buy this for my 4 year old son...but it was the only thing he kept telling people he wanted for christmas. The helicopter blades fall off but he doesn't seem to mind, and the spiderman figure is less detailed and he actually enjoys it more because of its simplicity. The helicopter is surprisingly more durable than most of the overpriced toys he already has, and he loves it. No complaints here.

Return it
This is a terrible toy. The pieces all fall apart and fall off. My son can't play with it without things falling off. Will return this toy,

a huge disappointment
This toy was a terrible disappointment.My 7 yr old got it for Christmas, while it looked promising, it was not. It was very difficult to get open, way too much packaging.The rotor blades do not stay on, the "grabbing" claws do not grab, and while I have never bought a "shooting" toy before, the missles are impossible to load, and if you do get them loaded, they dont shoot.The other missles shoot abot 4 inches, and go off whenever they want, not when you launch them.The"exclusive" spiderman action figure looks just like the other 14 spiderman action figures we already have.This was difinitely not worth the money.I gave this toy 1 star for each category, because there isnt a zero star option. ... Even The Webslinger Couldn't Save This Set
The idea was great.Make a collection of figures based on their popularity and the fact that they all appeared in films as of late, put'em in one box and call it the "Urban Legends" collection.Sounds perfect, right?Unfortunately, whoever designed these toys forgot that even collectors like a little quality now and then.

Here's a breakdown of each figure, including postive and negative aspects of each:

Spider-Man:Best figure of the set, probably because he has the least gadgets to fool with.The fingers are placed in the web-shooting position.This figure is very poseable and was the only figure in my set that actually fit the base that came with it.

Daredevil:Pretty good figure, but his points of articulation were very stiff.The paint job was excellent.His walking stick/weapon looks good in his belt pouch, and that's where you'll want to keep it.It's hard to get back into his belt.

Punisher:Good figure, though the right hand on my particular figure is very, very loose.So loose, in fact, that he can't hold the bazooka that comes with him.The trench coat is a nice touch, but it is cheaply made.

Elektra:Worst figure of the set.Paint job was atrocious.She actually has too many points of articulation and they are very stiff.This figure is very poorly made.

Now don't think I'm a jerk for ripping this set.The price is very good, but I'd only buy this again if I knew that the Punisher and Elektra figures were in better shape.If you are a fan of either, you may want to look for their individual figures.I purchased these figures for a collection.I have no intention of giving them to children to play with, so the durability isn't that major of an issue.However, posing the characters in a display case is problematic because I do not want to damage them any more than they were when I purchased them.

In closing, the set is a great idea, but you may want to steer clear of this one if you already have any of these figures in your collection.I do recommend it for the Spider-Man and Daredevil figures, though, since both of these are very nice figures.

great value, excelent set
first off the whole marvel legends line is possibly the best toyline ever, i feel nerdish being a 16 year old with a set of superhero figures in my room but they're just plain cool. I'm gonna skip strait to what you should know- if you're buying for a kid then make sure you know electra's bust is *ahem* there, it's not as bad as the angry parents put it but it's definately PG-13 stuff, and if you're big on "No Violence" then i first ask you why are you even looking at this?, secondly, that punisher has alot of ammo in ALL his incarnations, this included. as for everything else, the figures look great, are sturdy, and have more movement than ANY figure out there, heck i can make spidy go into meditation. I heard daredevil was the worst in the Legends line but i disagree, he's not unbelievable but still good. If you're fine with Electra's "exectra's" and punisher's support of the 2nd amendment then it's a great set, with a better deal. BUY IT NOW!

Nice Set
Well, I'm not too fond of the characters in the set cause I generally just collect the female action figures, but this was a nice set of figures nonetheless. Elektra's new headsculpt is pretty weird lookin, but her costume looks great in white. Spiderman is a fun figure to pose. Punisher's jacket was unneccessary and Daredevil was a little too scrawny and short in comparison to the other figures in the series. It was a great price though and they are a nice addition to the Marvel Legends collection. Oh, and the figures arrived in great condition....the poster book bent on one corner though. ... Read more

Its just a piece of junk.
It falls a part too easily. It is not very fun.

Cool concept - bad engineering
My son loves spiderman, and he loves magnets. Put the two together and he's in heaven. That is, until I finished assembling the Sky Rider set. It doesn't have a sturdy base, so it tips over and fallsapart easily. My son tangled the string which is supposed to connect to the buildings and the knots are too difficult to untie because the string is so thin. The building has a wall for Spiderman to catapult onto. His magnetic hands and feet are supposed to stick to it before it slides up the building. It has a cardboard distance guide to show how far away the catapult needs to be. I tried it about 20 times. It actually worked 3 times. At least he still has the magnetic Spiderman which he can attach to the refrigerator and my car...Oh, his leg snapped in half while my son was playing with him. It only took my 4-1/2 year old son three weeks to destroy the Sky Rider set and break Spiderman's leg. The toy was designed to do a lot of cool things. The problem is poor engineering. If the toy had a sturdier construction, it would have been a good buy.

Run Away! Run Away!
I'll get right to the point.This is the most poorly designed/engineered playset I have seen in my 40 plus years. This product only deserves 0 stars in all the categories.The designers of this toy tried to achieve way too much with very little material and poor quality construction.The pieces don't fit together correctly and attemping to launch spiderman off his launch pad to trigger some of the devices serves only to heighten the frustration level.

Some of the events occur with such velocity that I would be afraid to let my son play with this without me supervising.Case in point, I was setting up the glide wire from one tower to the other and while my head was over the tower my son decided to trip the trigger to pull up the spider net that is supposed to trip the bad guy.The net moved up so fast and with such force it traveled past the top of the tower and hit me in the face. Since the net was empty I was a surprised more than anything, but if a toy figure such as the spider-man figure would have been in ther with his pointy fingers and feet, it may have been a different story. This toy should be called "Product Liability in a Box".

Your wallet and your child will be better off without this pile of poorly manufactured pile of flimsy plastic. ... Read more
