NewWave Plastic Gargoyles for the office
This is a fun poseable model right out of the box.
I have two guarding the entrance to my office like new-wave gargoyles.The bricks fit together well and are strongly joined where the limbs articulate.My 4 and 7 year old nieces thought my new "pets" were a lot of fun.They said it was "like playing barbies, but you can bend these more". They did tend to "break" the models by trying to twist them in ways that the joints didn't allow, but the 7 year old got the knack by the end of the night and was actually looking at how the limbs moved so she could rotate them as she wanted without popping the joints apart. Fair warning, large sections of these models are preformed and can't really be adjusted much.Still, I can see some way so "tying into" what is here and adding some details if you wanted.Me, I am more-or-less considering them completed sculptures at this time and not really trying to modify them at all. ... King Kong blazes a forest trail in this spectacularly improbable hotrod. Kong'slarge torso is crumpled into a car seemingly too small for him (from navel to head hemeasures about 3 inches; the car is only 6 inches long). His gaping mouth with its pointyteeth coordinates well with the spiked hubcaps and evil eye on the hood. The King wearsa crown, and the back of his seat is decorated with a nameplate and a coat of arms. Great idea: but no instructions, so completely useless.
We live in the UK, andsent this construction toy to our 5 year old grandson in New York as it claimed to allow 40 different modesl to be built: like the Meccano system of the 1940's. They have just called to say how disappointing it is as there are no instructions included, and it is really quite complex. What a let down, and we dont know how to get the instructions either. [...]Or perhaps this product isnt meant to have instructions!

Very realistic and fun
My son has a great time with this Saturn V rocket.It comes apart in the appropriate stages and the lunar lander and command module fit together well and in the proper way.The pushbutton countdown feature is nice, though I would like it more if a second push were to turn off the sound (there is currently no way to stop the sound once it starts other than to wait until it is finished).The plastic parts are slightly bendable so we have not yet had a part snap off and break.My only complaint is that the stages break apart too easily, especially when the rocket is turned horizontal, and it is a bit difficult for my son to put it back together again.Despite this, he is still playing with it regularly three months after receiving it as a gift: high praise from a five-year-old.

Great fun for space lover
I bought this last christmas and my 4 yr old still loves it. Great for imagining liftoffs to the moon. If your child likes space and blast offs ---this is it.

this sucks
this plane puts a good definion to the woords crash and burn because mine crashed and the batery caut fire so in other words its a danger hazzerd.

It Flies in Las vegas
I had a firebird which didnt fly . My dad said dont buy another airplane but i wanted to fly. This one works great in Las vegas.I finally can fly an airplane by myself

This toy is awsome. It is the best toy ever.

Never meant to be the TV show Batmobile
The reason this Batmobile does not resemble the one from the televison show in some respects is that it is based on the comic book, not the TV show. I am not sure if Playing Mantis has the license for the show or not, but I do know they have a Batplane model which was never in the show.

I have the '50s model and the '60s model, and both are fun to build and great to display.

Johnny Lightning Batmobile Could have been better
This is not a replica of the 60's t.v. show.The Barris Batmobile did not have headlights or the yellow thing is the lower cut out, only yellow marker light in front.The original had 3 rocket launchers, turbine exhaust that shot out a flame, had an ariel with lights and beacon on top.It also had two rear winshields like on the front.It had a bat turn lever on roof, bat phone, computers.The fins on the rear on the JL do not have the webbing, the rear bumper is wrong,the hood is totally wrong the realone had no chrome or tail lights.Ther is no chain cutter, the interior is all wrong.I dont know if they did not get permission from george barris or what but ths is a poor copy of the batmobile!The Corgi # 267 was the best copy of a batmobile made. ...
