1-0 out of 5 stars Choking hazard
The nose is glued and sewn on, but my baby still managed to chew it off.I found it hanging by a thread from it's face one day.So, cut off the nose before giving it to your baby, or never leave your baby alone with it once teething starts.

Too bad about the nose because my baby loves his puppytunes.

1-0 out of 5 stars Dangerous toy - has been taken off the market in Denmark !
"Puppytunes" contains phthalates and has been taken off the market in Denmark!

The Danish environmental protection agency (Danish ministry of the Environment) also found the "multi sensory clutch cube" from Lamaze to contain TCEP and it has also been taken off the market.

TCEP can cause cancer and damage to the kidneys, and children should not be in contact with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy!
I got this toy for my twin sons when they were about 3 months old, now they are 20 months and still love him! He attatches great to the front bar of my Twin Savvy. He makes alot of noises and still keeps them occupied. WE do have to rotate toys now that the twins are older and get bored easily, but Pupsqueak is a favorite! He withstands washings and teething, spit ups, and biting, and even attempts to drop him off the stroller! He makes a cute barking noise and he has alot of little things for a baby to teeth on and to look at. My sons like to fiddle with the rings and hold him, they enjoy listening to him and of course "eating" him. I am surprized in the durablility of all my Lamaze toys and I really didnt think that they would last this long! They are just wonderful! My sons get a kick out of pupsqeak and he really is captivating from birth to childhood, a great toy that will last for years!

5-0 out of 5 stars PUPSQUEAK!
Next to BR Max the monkey (also by Lamaze) and Zach's "lovey", pupsqueak is his favorite toy. Zach is four months old and really really loves pupsqueak. We use him to give variety to our son and Zach really loves him! If we make pupsqueak squeak, Zach goes into hysterics, and my 20 month old twins join in! ITs perfect for those really silent times when everyone needs a good laugh. Along with Max, pups (what we call him) is perfect for tummy time. Pups is also great for teathing, once Zach really starts getting those teeth in! Pups attatches well to almost anything, but my boistrus ball of fire gets so angrey and fustrated if we tether him to anything, he likes to hold him. Pups is very durable and has been easily spot cleaned and even in the wash! The colors are great for my son to stare at and he just loves him. I dont know what it is about Lamaze toys but they sure do put alot of thought into them to make them so gosh darn cute and interesting!

5-0 out of 5 stars WOW
I am dumbfounded. I have two sets of twins, 8 Month B/B and 3 year old B/G. ALL of them LOVE this toy. My older twins enjoy making him a "baby". And giving him kisses amd making him do all kinds of tricks. They could do this with almost anytoy, but the ADORE pupsqueak. That Said I have 2 others wich I gave to my boys. They LOOVVVEE him too! I was amazed. I dont know if its just because hes a dog, (their lovey toys are a black and white dog and a brown and white dog, and they love our boxer and golden retriever mix) or maybe its just because PUPSQUEAK ROCKS! They love it when I attatch him to their carseats, They just got "big boy" carseats and pupsqeak of course had to make the transition too! A few weeks ago we went on a 8 hour car ride, I know that my youngest twins stayed quite mostly because they were soooo comfy in their marathons, and because they had... PUPSQUEAK! They had the option to play with other lamaze toys, which they loved but those just dont compare to pupsqueak. They even like him in the crib and in the stroller, a versitile little toy. And A toy that for 12 bucks will last THREE YEARS, wow talk about getting a bargin! Pupsquek is definatly NUMBER ONE FOR MY LITTLE BOYS! Well maybe number two, but no one ever beats their loveys Puppy and Doggy! ... Read more

Editorial Review

Get ready to learn shapes, colors, numbers, letters, face parts, animal sounds, and more with Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and the rest of the Sesame Street gang! This Sing & Teach Table features tons of buttons and other interactive gadgets that prompt fun lessons for babies and toddlers, all in the wacky, weird voices of the Muppets. (Presumably, tots are familiar enough with the characters to understand all the squeals and growls.) The semi-circular shaped plastic table stands 12 inches high, not counting the waggling Elmo head that presides over the action. Children sit or stand at the table, lifting the Cookie Monster head to learn about "open" and "closed," spinning a drum for the alphabet song, or picking up a cell phone to hear The Count soliloquize about numbers. Bright, cheerful, and noisy--just what the toddler ordered. --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars We LOVE Elmo!
My son LOVED this toy.We bought it for him when he was 8 mos. old and he played with it non stop, that is, until IT stopped working. After only 3 months of use Elmo's head stopped working (that's what my son loved most about the toy was the moving Elmo). So we called Fisher Price3 and of course they would replace the item, but we would have to pay shipping and after paying $35.00 for a toy, I didn't think I should have to pay more for a defective toy.We were dissapointed with Fisher Price's lack of concern about the quality of their products. But for the 3 months it worked, my son loved it!It was his favorite!

4-0 out of 5 stars Cute but Elmo's head quit moving within 3 months
My daugher LOVES this table and still plays with it, but Elmo's head is supposed to move back and forth while the music plays. She got it for Christmas and she was not rough on it at all and by Easter Elmo's head no longer moved.Other than that it still works fine and she still enjoys it.But she takes her little hand and manually moves Elmo's head back and forth and looks at him like "hey, what's wrong?"Overall a cute toy to teach about eyes, nose, ears, etc. and the alphabet.Plus good for when they are first learning to stand up.

5-0 out of 5 stars mother of only Fisher Price
I ordered this for my 21 month old daughter, and she loves it, I could not even get it together when she kept saying chair, chair. I don't know what that other lady was saying about it, my daught fits just fine in it and can play with the toys on the table, and she's 30 pds, and 33 inches tall, and has no problem, overall this is a very cute toy and fits in well with the rest of the collection I have.

1-0 out of 5 stars A Waste Of Money
I bought this for my 16 month old son yesterday and will be returning it today. The sizing on the package is 12 months - 36 months and yet the chair and table are too small for my son (granted he is quite large for his age at 34" and 33lbs, but surely he would fall within the size parameters).Once in the chair it is extremely difficult for any toddler (we tried it with our neighbor's child) to turn to the right and play with the table as it is a tight fit.The only way to play with it is for the child to use their left hand, since their right arm is wedged in.The book on the table is too close to the lamp and makes turning the pages difficult to do without pinching tiny fingers. This should have been moved at least an inch to the left.It is difficult to pull the switch on the lamp given the angle the child must be sitting, so hitting the top of the lamp is the only way to get it to work, at which point it stops being useful in teaching a child how to pull the switch.I am extremely disappointed with this given the high expectations I had based on the quality of the other Laugh & Learn products I have purchased. My suggestion to Fisher-Price:label your products by child weight limits, not age limits. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Not Impressed
We bought this keyboard for our daughter at Christmas, when she was 6-7 months. She didn't care for it then, even when I was showing her how to use it, and she's a year now and still only hits the top buttons to get it to play by itself.I think it's great that it can play animal sounds or keyboard sounds, but remarkably, one of my biggest complaints is that even on the loud setting it's too quiet! The keyboard sounds are really muted and dull, and I can see why it doesn't hold her interest for more than a few seconds. She's an active kid, and this just isn't for her.I think she's be better off with an old fashioned xylophone to bang on!That will give her results!

5-0 out of 5 stars so far so good....
Now that our tiwns just turned 6 months old we are staring to get more of their bigger toys out. We got thi one out, i think a month and a half ago. We used the music mode a lot then. Now at 6 months old we started to use the animal sounds. And they just love it. They smile and laugh! The music and lights are wonderful and can keep their attention for long periods of time. Most of all our Baby Einstein prodcuts are wonderful and the kids love them! They keys are easy to push and dont stick like some other toys we have. It is a great interactive toy that the kids will be able to use for months.

5-0 out of 5 stars A hit with everyone
I bought this for my toddler who loves music and is delayed in fine motor skills.I feel that the keys are small enough to encourage her to use one finger at a time as opposed to just pounding at it, and the added benefit is that they switch to animal sounds, which she also loves, so it will encourage her more to hit one individual key at a time. She loves the music and flashing lights.I love the fact that the sounds are more muted. It seems so many toys today with sounds blare the noise, this is actually pleasant to listen to and has volume control to boot. The only problem I have is that my 4 yr old keeps stealing it from her little sister to play with it! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Learn through Music really teaches!
My mother in law got this unit with Elmo's Scavenger Hunt cartridge for my son when he was 1 1/2.While one of the other reviewers says it's too loud it does have two volumes. My son had mastered this cartridge by his 2nd birthday. So for Christmas we got him Elmo's numbers and Blue's Clues colors....he has excelled with this toy.
He know's how to mix colors now at 2 1/2 and can tell you exactly how to do it.How many kids his age know that green and yellow make Chartruse? And with Elmo numbers he knows how to count in English and Spanish.
It's an excellent toy...annoying at first because there is something new to learn on each "page" and the songs are great for kids but hard on parents.
As for durability..the only problem we have encountered in 1 1/2 years of use is that anything that falls into the cartridge chamber can harm it...in our case cat hair. But it's worth paying the price....it's excellent and it's a learning tool that can be used for so many things.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy!...worth the money
I bought this toy over a year ago for my now 2-1/2 year old daughter and she still plays with it.I now have a 19 month old daughter too, and she loves the toy just as much. The youngest bops to the music, and the oldest sings away in the microphone. I have not yet changed the batteries, the "pages" don't stick, the volume is a good volume since it can be adjusted with the "high/low" switch on back. I find the toy to be plenty durable since my youngest seems to stand on it quite a bit and has not damaged the screen or any part of it yet. I also plan to buy more cartridges this weekend for them since I just still have the one it came with. I'm hoping the others are just as fun for my kids as the Sesame Street one. I gave the toy only 4 stars because of the colors on the screen...it would be nice if they were a bit brighter and bolder for the kids.

1-0 out of 5 stars A whole lot of fun..... UNTIL IT STOPS WORKING!
My 18 month old daughter loved this toy soooo much in the store that I just had to buy it for her. I also picked up two extra cartridges for it. I thought the price was a little high, but for such a great toy I felt that it was worth it. Well, we got it home and she loved it! We played with it together (at all times, other times it was put up) and had so much fun with it... until 3 days after buying it when it stopped working. We didn't have any trouble with the microphone, but the pages would stick on every single cartridge. I changed the batteries, thinking that we probably just played with it too much, but that didn't help. I ended up taking it back to our Toys 'R' Us and exchanging everything for another. Okay, second toy worked really well for about 3 wks, then not only did the pages start sticking but the microphone started cutting out as well!! There was NO REASON for this! My daughter never threw it, stepped on it, hit it, etc. I took it back AGAIN (thank goodness for saving boxes and receipts!! The 3rd one worked a bit longer, almost 2 months, and then the same things started happening again. After putting new batteries in the 3rd toy and having the problems continue, I finally had my partner try to fix it himself! We ended up getting so fed up with this toy that we threw it, along with ALL THREE cartridges, in the trash. BIG, BIG, BIG waste of money!! I am extremely disappointed! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars perfect gift
My daughter received this piano for her 1st birthday and she absolutely LOVES it!!!She will play with it every day and she and her daddy take turns singing into the microphone. She even carries it with her when she goes to another room. This piano is my daughter's favorite toy!I don't know who likes it more, my daughter or my husband (and we've had it for 6 months).

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy!
This is one of the best toys ever.We bought this for our son for his 1st birthday. He is now 18 months old and STILL loves to play with it.Not only that, but it seems like he finds a new feature on it every time.My husband loves to play with it, too, so it keeps them both busy!haha!

2-0 out of 5 stars Drives me insane...but my son loves it
Personally, I hate this toy.Of all the toys my 8 month old son has that make noise, this is the most obnoxious. When I finally can't take it anymore, I have to shut it off and lure my son to another toy.

My son, on the other hand, LOVES it.He's not old enough to be coordinated with it yet, but he loves the lights and constant music/noise.It is only because he seems to love it so much that I haven't thown it out the window.

If you're looking for a piano for your child, get a different one. This isn't a piano as much as it is just a music machine. If nothing else, for your own sanity get a different one!Not to mention the microphone broke after about 2 months....

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent!
My daughter received this for her first birthday and LOVES it- she plays with it all day. She loves to take the Frogs out and carry them around, as well as dance to the songs the bus plays when the characters are in the bus (the song changes when you put a different character into the driver's seat). We are still discovering new things about this toy since we haven't had it for long. An excellent learning toy that is FUN and cute too! Read the description for all of the things this toy can do. Two thumbs up from this family! I am sure this toy will last for the recommended age 1-4 years, it will hold its entertainment and learning value. I look for toys that will be around for a long time instead of buying a toy that will be played with a few times or for a short while and then be outgrown or forgotten. This is definitely a winner.

5-0 out of 5 stars Heather J
Sensational!Initially, I thought this toy would be merely a great way for my son to learn the alphabet. I did not anticipate his phonic skills would progress as rapidly as they did. It has several options such as letter, letter sounds and words. As he plays with it, he repeats the word for each letter. It has also helped him identify letters rather than just singing them! In a short while, he has gone to saying the word before he pushes the letter and identifying letters out of sequence.Did I mention he is not yet even two years old!Fantastic buy!

2-0 out of 5 stars Peek N Play Eeyore
My 1 year old daughter recieved this toy as a gift.I love the concept of all the songs, and the way the ears move.Although our problem was that Eeyore kept falling over!! The head is heavy, so it doesn't balance right. Also, we didn't care for the remote contol rattle to make it work, yes is is also voice activiate, but I know the rattle is going to get lost.It is also hard to turn off, youhave to un-velcro the back and turn the switch off.And since it is voice activated, if you have it in your childs room at bedtime, and you have not taken all that time to turn it off, it goes off. I don't think it is worth the money, it is not that great of a toy.

3-0 out of 5 stars Love it/Hate it
I bought this for my 7 month old and she LOVES it however, she cannot get it going herself.I have to sit and play with her which is OK but it would be better if I could sit her on the floor and she could get it going herself so I can get some things done around the house.Overall it is a GREAT toy!

5-0 out of 5 stars I WANT ONE NOW TOO!
I bought this for my one year old "leap day baby" niece.I brought it up to work to show it around to everyone else here.Upon noticing it was only playing the "demo", and trying not to fully take it out of the box ( I asked my brother if i could and he said no! ), I noticed a protection tab that could be pulled out.

Anyway, comments mention below it shuts off after two minutes of inactivity. That is MORE than enough time as anything longer might start to drive ya nuts.It reacts to snapping, clapping, and even his name when spoken loudly!

Everyone at work wants one now for themselves, and I am the youngest in my office at age 36!

Too cute, too precious! ... Read more

Welcome Baby to the brave new world of interactive books with this LeapPad-styled talking picture book system. As with regular books, grownups will want to introduce their tots to the concept, sitting together at first and pointing out pictures and words. Soon they can advance to the interactive part: touching words, objects, holes, icons, or textured spots on the pages to hear descriptive phrases, music, words identified, and fun sounds. More than 100 songs can be heard, and with the purchase of additional stories and cartridges, the opportunities for fun learning are endless. The Baby Animals book (included) is simple and colorful, with recognizable critters in their own settings. The system allows three modes to play: Story, Explore, and Surprise. Let Baby’s fingers do the exploring! Four AA batteries required (not included). --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Annoying Toy of the Year
I bought Power Touch Baby for my little girl when she was 13 months old.We have all of her toys in our living room for supervising purposes. The PTB drove us insane! It repeats its self over and over, it will change what it is saying mid-word if a different object is touched(I don't think we ever heard it say a complete sentence), the book falls out, and even though the PTB has never been banged around, it will still get "stuck" on a word for no reason. It needs an award for the Annoying Toy of the Year and should be sold along with a hammer to destroy it with.

4-0 out of 5 stars cute toy, but.....
I bought this for my daughter's 1st birthday. I agree with the other reviews that the book is not secure and my daughter always pulls it out. I wish I would have waited to buy this toy. If your child is still slapping things and not pointing yet, you should wait. My daughter slappes the book and all the noises go off at once(very annoying and fustrating). But, I will not say this is a terrible toy. It's really cute and educational. I'm just going to wait a couple more months before I try using it with my daughter again, and I'm sure she'll love it!! :)

5-0 out of 5 stars so easy to use!
My daughter recieved this as a present, and I wish I had gotten it sooner. We had gotten a leapfrog a year ago, and she never liked it.After struggling with the leapfrog system, it was so pleasant to have a simple system where the pages are recognized automatically and she can put the book in and out by herself. The leapfrog is going into the closet! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Good for parents and kids
Jack in the Box is a great toy for older children or for parents and kids to do together. My 18 month old cannot turn the handle in the correct direction and gets easily frustrated that "Jack" doesn't pop out!But when we do it together or my older son does it with her she laughs and loves to play with this toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars My Son's New Favorite Toy
My son LOVES this toy.He is 2 1/2 and it only took him a time or two to figure out how to get Jack back in the box by himself. He plays with it all the time, and never fails to get excited when Jack jumps out at him.You don't have to completely finish the song to get jack back in, you just have to make sure the song finishes the "pop" note. The music is a very traditional music box sound, and not annoying in the least. We suspected he would love a jack in the box, and had trouble finding one that worked well. This one is fantastic.

3-0 out of 5 stars Love it and leave it
This is a great toy...for a small amount of time. After a minute or two my son gets bored of it because it only does one thing and only plays one tune. Not great for younger kids because jack is hard to get back into the box and I think the young ones will have a hard time (sometimes I have a hard time...lol). Not worth the money I spent on it, but still a fun toy...and a classic. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Elmo may not be on the cutting edge of pop culture with this incarnation, but he still makes playtime fun. Instead of mimicking the latest hit, which always seems to drive kids wild, he sings and dances his own version of a 70s classic: "YMCA." It never dies, does it? The 13.5-inch Elmo sings out letters to a catchy rhythm while dancing what can only be described as pseudo-Egyptian. It's quite a feat, actually, to see what he does with his arms and legs: standing on one foot, bobbing his head, moving several limbs at once. His cute, familiar voice hasn't changed, either; kids can hear it with each press of his upheld hand. Required: 4 AA batteries.Diane Beall ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars An above average toy from a picky mom
My daughter does not pay ANY attention to Elmo on television, she isn't yet (at one year old) watching Sesame Street. In stores, we have tried playing with her with the other Elmo dancing/moving plush toys out there and she has never paid too much attention- we just figured she doesn't like Elmo. Then for Christmas she got the Elmo learning table and played with it daily, along with the plush toy that comes with it. She still didn't seem too interested in Potty Elmo or Chicken Dance Elmo or some others, so we didn't think she'd be crazy about this one.

Wrong assumption! My daughter LOVES to dance and she dances along with this E-L-M-O. She'll crawl right up to him and sway and bounce to the music. She's still a bit young for this toy but yet she plays with it when we press his hand and get it started (she hasn't yet mastered the art of squeezing his hand to make him dance). This toy is not her favorite but is well made, Elmo dances without falling down, and my daughter does like this toy and will spend time throughout the day be-bopping along with it. I'd recommend it especially if your child is older and likes Elmo!

A friend's daughter is over 2 years old and likes Sesame Street and is scared of the toy when it moves so you never know....my 1 year old is fine with it, and not interested in Sesame Street on tv. Go figure.

And finally, my own opinion, this toy is just cute! And durable. I don't see where it's educational, just fun.

3-0 out of 5 stars Does ELMO really know how to spell??
The chear part of the ELMO dolls preformance sings E N M O instead of ELMO.Pretty sad expecially when your 20 month old is learning how to say his ABC'S Something should be done about this. The part when the doll makes the letters with his arms is really cute.

4-0 out of 5 stars Another Elmo Hit and Only Paid $7 at WALMART
I was going to purchase this for my soon to be 2 year old for Christmas but decided to wait.Every time we go to a toy store she would run right to ELMO and press his hand. She would even spell E-L-M-O at home everytime she saw a commercial or played with one of her other ELMO toys. She loved it, but I hated to spend (...) on yet another ELMO toy.Well I just purchased it for (...) on clearance at WALMART.She hasn't stopped playing with it and dances right along with him.It is very cute (a little annoying after a while for Mom and Dad).Well worth it for a bargain price of (...). ... 5-0 out of 5 stars My 3 year old still plays with this toy!
I bought this toy for my daughter when she was a year old and she immediately took to it.She loved pressing the keys and looking at herself in the mirror. It's two years later and she still plays with it regularly. Now she likes turning the lights off and seeing the light bar around the mirror light up to the sound of the tunes. She also likes hearing the different musical instruments and singing to the tunes. It's held up very well.It doesn't look new, but it also doesn't look beat up either.Even though she knows all her shapes, she still likes pressing the keys and hearing how the shape's name is pronounced. Also, it shuts off by itself if not in use and the batteries last an extremely long time (I think I've only changed them once in two years).

There might be two minuses, though they don't bother me in the least. If your child likes kissing his/her reflection, expect to clean the mirror regularly. Also, some people might think it might be a little loud, though compared to some toys, and in my opinion, the volume is not that bad at all.

All in all, I would recommend this toy for parents of infants who want something durable and will keep their child's interest for years to come.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy!!!!!
I bought this toy for my daughter when she was 4 months old.She loved it!!It has a wide variety of songs and the mirror is very entertaining for little ones. She is now 13 months old and still plays with it.This is one toy she hasn't lost interest in!!
Strongly Recomend!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy!!
My son got this when he was four months old.At that age, he liked to watch us play it for him, but at five months he started playing with it himself. The keys are easy for him to press and he really likes looking at himself in the mirror.

There are three different learning modes (colors and shapes, songs, and free play). There are also four different instruments to choose from (banjo, flute, sax and piano). Each instrument plays several different songs which are selected by pressing the instrument buttons surrounding the mirror. The mirror has four flashing red light bars around it that light up when the keys are pressed.

The only complaint I have with this toy is the volume. As with some other Leap Frog toys we own, the sound is too loud on the lowest setting. The speaker is on the upper left side and I find it easy to hold my palm over it to lower the volume when I am helping play with the toy, but I am considering putting some tape over the speaker for times that my palm is not available. ... Editorial Review

Leap Frog's Learning Friend Lily is a giddy, green introduction to English, Spanish, numbers, counting, and colors for kids between 1 and 5 years. Lily uses visual learning aids--there are numbers on her colorful outfit, and in the fabric book attached to her hand--and inviting songs to go through each word, numeral and color in her repertoire. The learning songs are original and catchy, so kids will readily remember them, and can listen with each press of Lily's foot. They can activate her by hugging her soft body, too, as she teaches kids the role of a smart, cuddly friend. Required: 3 AAA batteries.Diane Beall ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars A random number generator would have been nice...
The LeapStart Learning Table was one of the best toys my wife and I have purchased for our 18-month-old, so I had high hopes for this Lily doll. After about five minutes of my daughter playing with Lily, I realized Lily was a dud.Lily says and sings the exact same things every time you turn her on.There's no random element at all.I was bored in about two minutes. My daughter lasted only a little longer.Lily would be great if she said and sang different things everytime you pushed her button -- but doesn't.Disappointing.

1-0 out of 5 stars Waste of Money
Our 14 mo. old daughter received this as a gift.It was a waste of money- the buttons are so hard to push that she can't operate the doll without adult assistance. It doesn't really doesn't do much except sing a couple of songs- one of our least favorite toys she has!

4-0 out of 5 stars SpanishMelody to Surely Get Stuck in Your Head
I bought this when my niece was eight-months-old, and she loved it. I enjoyed the Spanish (rarely, if ever, played the English versions); my niece liked bopping along to the Spanish music. She is now one and still enjoys the melody but more as background while doing something else. Hopefully she is subliminally learning Spanish! (From reviews I have read, the older children seem to get bored with it...might be better for younger than the product claims.) ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Sturdy but out of tune
After taking my 8 month old to a friends house where he loved their kids xylophone and especially the full sized piano we got this toy for our son.

Yes the strings are short and a little one doesn't know how to hold the mallet handles on their own, but I can position the mallets in his hands properly and he does just fine. They are just long enough to be able to strike all the surface of each bar with the end just fine.

It is very sturdy. My 8mo old likes to bang on it pretty hard and so far we've had no problems with it coming apart.

My big gripe with it, though, is that two of the bars are clearly out of tune (the 3rd and 8th from the lowest pitch). It looks like they just cut the bars using an evenly increasing size rather than properly sizing them to match a major diatonic scale.I know this probably isn't a big deal, but I'm really sensitive to things being in tune, and besides do you want your developing kid to get used to a musical scale that's out of tune?

1-0 out of 5 stars Xylophone frustrating
We bought the caterpillar version and while the piano part is cute, the xylophone the very, very frustrating for my 3 and 1 1/2 year olds.I realize the strings are short to prevent them from getting wrapped around their necks, but these are so short that even if I hold the mallet perfectly, I can barely reach the end bars. For a toddler, who doesn't always hold the mallet the correct way, this toy is very frustrating.
Even if you hold it just right to reach the furthest note, the head of the mallet is so huge that it hits the sides of the instrument and the note sounds dull and not pretty at all.
This toy causes more frustration than pleasure.

4-0 out of 5 stars Despite mixed reviews...
We bought this toy for my 19 month old son for Christmas and he loves it. I agree that the strings are a little short but I guess that's how life goes. He doesn't have any problems with the keys...toys are so individual as far as kids go. Some kids will love it and some kids won't look at it twice. He hasn't broken it yet and it seems pretty tough, so I guess we'll cross our fingers. I think that it was totally worth it. ... Read more

he got this toy for a Christmas gift from his cousin. He plays with it every day.The music is not to loud and it is portable enough to take with us on the go!

5-0 out of 5 stars Lots of FUN
I bought four of these for my daughter, Reese, and her two cousins, and her little friend. They all LOVE Elmo's piano! It keeps them busy for what seems like hours.I couldn't be happier with this product and it's durable too! They pounce on it, bang on the keys, turn it upside down, and Elmo still keeps talking and playing music. Thanks for having such a great gift idea!!

3-0 out of 5 stars Okay, but she lost interest.
My daughter adores Elmo and music, but she lost interest in this toy quickly.I think the keys were a little hard for her to push. I was a little disappointed, but the toy is durable. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Melody pleasing to the ear
The toddle tunes push along is a much needed improvement from the corn popper which can give a person a headache with too much popping. The toddle tunes has two options for music. One option allows an entire melody to be played even if moved just an inch. The second option plays different notes as long as it is moving. The wheeling device is well designed with a rubberized grip around each wheel.Another nice feature of the push along is its ability to stand up straight--even in the middle of the room. Our 12 month old has been walking for 2 months but has not mastered the coordination for the toddle tunes push along. He does grip the handle and push it back and forth like a vacuum cleaner and gets a few notes. We expect that this will be a big hit with our walking boy in a few months. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars This ones great
Although I don't think the little touch books are very durable, this one has great appeal to my little guy.He is 15 months old, and started doing all the animal sounds. This is a great book because it has real photo's, not cartoons. He loves this one!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great
This is a nice book. Both my two year old son and I like it a lot.It has the normal animals like DOG and LION, but also unexpected animals like DINGO.It shows the animals according to their habitat and you can hear the animals' names and their actual sounds, plus extra miscellaneous activities.

5-0 out of 5 stars First introduction to animals
I bought the Animal family photos for my granddaughter at the time she was one.The first attraction was the animal sounds, then she was relating the animals to the sounds they make to identifing the animal by name.My granddaughter is two now and she sure knows her animals. The little tidbits about the animals are good and easy for little ones to understand.Of course she has her favorite animals she loves to listen too. Like all of LeapFrog products, this too is great! ... Read more
