5-0 out of 5 stars Very nice
Better than I expected. It's very rugged, it opens it's mouth when you pull the trigger and roars (which I didn't expect). My son loves it.

4-0 out of 5 stars pretty cool
My daughter is facinated by monsters and dinasours and was captivated by this toy.The main problem is that at 5 she has a some problems keeping the parts from coming apart while playing (and keeping her baby sister away from them), so it ends up being kept away except when I can monitor. Some of the parts have already been lost and may be better for older kids. But the look is great and definately excites the imagination.

5-0 out of 5 stars Razor the T-Rex
Dinosaurs are the coolest thing that ever happened to Imaginext. While the pirate and medieval themes are cool, this prehistoric theme takes the prize for ultra coolness. The premise here is simple enough.Predators versus non-predators.Carnivores versus herbivores.

Razor the T-Rex is one of the bad guys.He stands among the biggest dinosaurs, about twice the size of the triceratops, stegosaurus, and allosaurus. He has posable legs, tail, and forearms.A trigger under his belly causes his head to lunge forward with snapping jaws, accompanied by sound effects and a dinosaur roar.Razor has a rather sinister look about him. He's not quite as cute as the other Imaginext dinosaurs are, but he still has plenty of "menacing" charisma. He has a great paint job of red and dark blue, and the designs on his body add flavor.

On Razor's back is a saddle for a cave man figure to ride. The included cave man wears a dinosaur skull headdress and carries a bone staff. He's got some great posability in the arms, and his hands do a great job of grasping items. Also included is a catapult and two large boulders.

Razor, his cave-man buddy, and the catapult are all durable and constructed from soft plastic. This is a really nice dinosaur action figure and a great addition to the Imaginext collection.Fisher Price has done a great job on what is by far the coolest and most charismatic collection of dinosaur action figures I've seen.My verdict:thumbs up! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Thunder the Brontosaurus
Dinosaurs are the coolest thing that ever happened to Imaginext. While the pirate and medieval themes are cool, this prehistoric theme takes the prize for ultra coolness. The premise here is simple enough.Predators versus non-predators.Carnivores versus herbivores.

Thunder the Brontosaurus is one of the good guys. He's one of the biggest dinosaurs, about twice the size of the triceratops, stegosaurus, and allosaurus. He has posable legs and tail. His long neck can move back and forth, and left and right.Atop his neck, his cute little head can move up and down.A trigger under his belly causes his right foreleg to stomp on the ground, accompanied by sound effects and a dinosaur roar.Thunder has plenty of charisma, displayed in a cute expression on his face.He looks like he's determined to stop those nasty predators from hurting his friends. He has a great paint job of light and dark greens, and the designs on his body add flavor.

On Thunder's back is a really nice saddle for a cave man figure to ride. The included cave man wears a sabertooth tiger skin headdress and carries a club. He's got some great posability in the arms, and his hands do a great job of grasping items.

Also included are three red raptors.Unfortunately, they're not posable like the rest of the dinosaurs are (would've been nice if they were). Each raptor has a different pose.Team them up with Slasher the Allosaurus and Razor the T-Rex, and your predators are ready to rumble with Thunder and the good dinosaurs.

Thunder, his cave-man buddy, and the raptors are durable and constructed from soft plastic.Thunder is a wonderful dinosaur action figure and a great addition to the Imaginext collection. My verdict:thumbs way up!Beware, all you nasty predators!Thunder is here to protect and defend all that is good in the land of the prehistoric. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Tank the Triceratops
Dinosaurs are the coolest thing that ever happened to Imaginext. While the pirate and medieval themes are cool, this prehistoric theme takes the prize for ultra coolness. The premise here is simple enough.Predators versus non-predators.Carnivores versus herbivores.

Tank the Triceratops is one of the good guys.I've long been a fan of the triceratops, and I have to say, this is the best triceratops action figure I've seen.Tank has posable legs and tail, and a trigger under his belly causes him to raise his head to head-butt those nasty carnivores while his jaw opens. He also has plenty of charisma. His eyes, his expression, everything is fantastic! He has a wonderful paint job of light and dark green, and the designs on his body were a really nice touch.

On Tank's back is a saddle for a cave man figure to ride. The included cave man and accessories are just as cool as Tank is.He's a tribal figure who carries a spear. He's got some great posability in the arms, and his hands do a great job of grasping items. He's got that Imaginext quality that made the pirate and medieval figures so cool.

Tank and his cave-man buddy are durable and constructed from soft plastic.Tank's horns are rounded at the ends (no sharp points). This is an impressive and lovable dinosaur action figure, and a great addition to the Imaginext collection. My verdict:thumbs way up!Tank is ultra cool! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Green Lantern is almost impossible to get!
Me and my dad went to four shopping malls in San Diego and were not able to find Green Lantern. On the internet we checked a lot of sites until we finnally order it. It is amazing how difficult it was to get!

5-0 out of 5 stars These are exactly what I've been waiting for!
I would like to express my gratitude to the people over at Mattel for putting out such great nice-looking and durable action figures.I was so fed up with the other "ugly" looking justice league action toys. What I like most is that the new large size figures have a great cartoony life-like feel to them and true to the cartoon network show.I currently own 5 of them (missing Hawkgirl, Wonder Woman and Aquaman).I have them display on top of my tv cabinet and they look spectacular. My little nephews go nuts over them.I had contacted Mattel regarding the missing incomplete 10" action figures and a representative told me that consumers will soon see the missing 10' action figures on store shelves.

1-0 out of 5 stars He's a poser, not an action figure
My 5 yr old son and I have him, and this size Flash. While they are excellent replicas, they barely move! He's very stiff, so unless your little one is going to run around the house just holding him (and watch out if this heavy guy falls on toes!), what's the point?Buy the smaller Armor Attack line instead - moves better, fits in hand nicely, has similar nice detail -- AND has a cool detachable green attack bubble case. ... Editorial Review

If everyone knew how incredibly cool life in the sewer could actually be, perhaps a lot more people would live down there. Well, maybe not. But for the moment, the underground catacombs, depicted here in a large and intricate play set, are mostly populated by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, their rat master Splinter, and various assorted bad guys out to defeat them. While none of those characters are represented here in action figure form, anyone who already has those figures (or any action figures, really) will find plenty of fun things going on in the Turtle's lair. A working, hand-cranked elevator travels from street level to the two levels below while a rope slide lets the boys rappel from one floor to the next. The centerpiece of the set is a combat area where figures placed on specific points on the floor can be made to spin around when you twist their corresponding knobs. There are also spring-loaded plunger missiles, a trap door, and a couch that springs back. All told, the lair play set is just as fun, silly, and complex as the Turtles themselves. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Fun, but breaks easily.
I like the show, but the action figures and the lair are not as good.

5-0 out of 5 stars the turtles have a great lair!!!!
this lair is better than most i've seen. it has a better plastic
than most stuff their usually a rubber plastic thing but this is HARD not soft, rubbery. but it's perfect they have cool stuff in it too.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Turtles Lair.....
It is wonderful!! Yesterday i was playing with it and figured out how to get the couch to spring back!!! It's great. How is the weapons rack supposed to spin around? The couch has a button that's hard to see but you push it and the turtle's fly across the lair!! They even have a pulley that goes from the top to the bottom. I put the pulley from top to bottom and they use the thing to swing down to the bottom!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Very good but consider the TRex instead
We got both the TRex and the Allosaurus. Our boy loves them both, but for the extra five bucks the TRex is about twice as big and it roars. So if you're only buying one, I'd go with TRex.

5-0 out of 5 stars New Favorite
My son got this as a gift for his 4th birthday. We've never seen these before but the second he unwrapped it, it became his newest, most bestest toy ever!

We're going to buy more with some of his birthday money!

5-0 out of 5 stars Slasher the Allosaurus
Dinosaurs are the coolest thing that ever happened to Imaginext. While the pirate and medieval themes are cool, this prehistoric theme takes the prize for ultra coolness. The premise here is simple enough.Predators versus non-predators.Carnivores versus herbivores.

Slasher the Allosaurus is one of the bad guys. He's a cool action figure with some nice features. He has posable legs and tail, and his head is on a ball joint that allows for super posability. You can move his head up, down, left, right, and pose him in any number of ways. His jaw opens.Slasher has an impressive set of teeth for chomping on his prey after a morning of good hunting.A trigger under his belly causes him to slash with his claws. He's a charismatic dinosaur with a cute "menacing" expression and a cool paint job of orange and brown. The designs on his body add flavor to him.

On Slasher's back is a saddle for a cave man figure to ride. The included cave man and accessories are just as cool as Slasher is.He's a tribal figure who carries a spear. He's got some great posability in the arms, and his hands do a great job of grasping items. He's got that Imaginext quality that made the pirate and medieval figures so cool.

5-0 out of 5 stars I know I say this every century...
"The Simpsons" is obviously the greatest TV show ever, and anybody who disagrees is on crack. That said, it's pretty hilarious that they've made action figures out of practically every minor character that ever appeared on the show, including several characters that don't even have official names (makes you wonder how many kids' Xmas lists the "Sarcastic Man" popped up on), and of course multiple versions of the main characters as they appear in specific episodes ("Resort Smithers," "Donuthead Homer").The other day I saw the "Stephan Hawking" action figure and I just about peed my pants laughing. But then you have this set, which is based on a tiny 30-second clip at the end of the episode about Mr. Burns' long-lost childhood teddy bear "Bobo."At some indeterminate point in the future, Burns has morphed into a head in a jar of formaldehyde (later a popular run on "Futurama") with a robotic body, while Smithers is naturally his iDog companion. Also included is Smithers as Bobo himself, a reference to an earlier part of the episode where he's trying to console Mr. Burns for the loss of his toy.

I have resisted spending hundreds of dollars trying to collect this entire series of "action figures" like some kind of dork, but I HAD to get this one - it's just so cool and obscure! If only they had made the Homer-drawn chariot into a fully-realized 3D thing!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Future!
This is one great set in the World of Springfield line! It comes with three great figures that include Future Burns, Future Smithers, and Bobo Smithers. Future Burns is setup like a robot, with his head preserved in a glass container, and the rest of his figure a machine. Future Smithers is the head of Smithers on the body of a robot dog, complete with movable head and four legs. Bobo Smithers comes dressed as Bobo, Mr Burns beloved teddy bear, in a playful stance that actually allows the figure to keep from tipping over, despite being balanced on one leg. Something different about this set, is that the Smithers figures have the glasses glued into their heads, to prevent the tiny accessories from getting lost or damaged. The only real accesory that comes with this set is a beaten up little Bobo figure, somewhat larger than the Bobo that came with Burns Manor. The environment that comes with the set is big enough to hold the two larger figures, while Future Smither prances about. The actual set itself is purple with a yellow background of Homer being used as a slave to lead a cart of rocks. If you love the show or the toy line, this is a must have set!

4-0 out of 5 stars Simpsons Burns and Bobo set is a winner!!

Dinosaurs are the coolest thing that ever happened to Imaginext. While the pirate and medieval themes are cool, this prehistoric theme takes the prize for ultra coolness. The premise here is simple enough.Predators versus non-predators.Carnivores versus herbivores.

Spike the Stegosaurus is one of the good guys. He's a pretty good action figure, sporting posable legs and a head that moves back and forth.A button on his left side causes his spiked tail to whip back and forth.Spike is just as charismatic as the rest of the Imaginext dinosaurs, with a cute expression on his reptilian face.He sports a nice paint job of light green and purple, and some nice designs on his body that add flavor to him.

Spike doesn't have a saddle for a rider. The spikes on his back prevent this.Nevertheless, a cave man figure is included. He's a tribal guy who carries prehistoric weapons. He has some great posability in the arms, and his hands do a great job of grasping items.I haven't had any problems with items falling out of his hands.

Spike and his cave-man buddy are durable and constructed from soft plastic. The spikes on the stegosaurus's back and tail are rounded at the ends (no sharp points). This is a cute dinosaur action figure and a nice addition to the Imaginext collection. My verdict:thumbs way up!Spike is cool! ... This Turtle truck measures in at just over a foot long and is packed with plenty of "hey neat!" features, including spring-fired missiles and a towing winch. Best of all, there’s plenty of room inside for turtle action figures, or whatever other action figures you think would enjoy riding in style. 2-0 out of 5 stars it's junk but my son loves it
Deluxe, it is not.It is very cheap feeling and looking. The great "features" are very unimpressive. Even my 5 year old is working not to be dissapointed in it, having blown his whole 20 birthday money on a plastic box on wheels. It's nothing special as vehicles go, except that it's green and says Ninja Turtles on it.
Nevertheless he has played with it non-stop since he got it.

4-0 out of 5 stars A great toy for a tmnt lover!!!!
It is a very fun toy, but not very detailed inside. It is kind of hard to load the torpedos on the side of it.The rope could be a little longer on the front.Overall it is a great toy!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Indestructible!
This is one tough truck!

My 5-year old loves this truck. He can put lots of his little Ninja Turtle figurines inside and take it everywhere even outside to play.

He can also shoot off the rockets hitting targets and etc.

Great toy.

The Rescue Heroes series of toys by Fisher-Price offers a nonviolent and positive alternative to the numerous violent and menacing toys on the market. Parents love the emphasis on helping rather than hurting, while kids just love how cool-looking the Heroes and all their gear are. This watercraft is really two vehicles in one. Separately, it's a personal water cycle, a pontoon boat, and a pair of water skis. All three can also be combined to form a super-vehicle. We liked the versatility of this toy, the effectiveness of the spring-loaded buoys, and the fact that it requires no batteries. --John Moe ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Another Great Rescue!
My son the rescue hero junkie, got this with his christmas money. Seeing how he has about a million figures, this was his first vehicle. It is so cute!! The little rescue shooters can go in 3 different places and shoot nicely across the room! A big deal for a 4 year old! The jet ski also shoots out when you press the button. He loves that you can put the rescue bouys on the jet ski OR the boat and sail off to rescue shoot someone. He has a much better realistic ideas of what true real life heroes are from playing with rescue heros!! Now whenever he sees police or firefighters, he whispers with awe...."There's a rescue hero!" LOL! Several friendly cops have gotten big ego boosts from it! LOL! This toy goes great over carpet, floor whatever, and has held up to lotsa play from 3.5 yr old sister and my son!! I'm hoping the rather thin spokes that are on the ends of the rescue bouys don't break off, or it won't shoot out anymore, but other than that, it's been very fun and durable so far. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Cheaply Made, Won't Last--Don't Buy It!!
This toy is worthless. It is made of cheap, thin plastic that will never last. My 4 and 6 year olds were totally underwhelmed and we took it back. The toy comes in many pieces that you "snap" together. Yeah, right. They don't stay connected at all and the entire thing was always in several pieces. The boys would try to play with it and everything just kept falling apart. The little balcony is a joke, just kept falling down when they placed a turtle figure on it. The "rip cord" wouldn't stay attached to the fence thing, so the turtle figures couldn't slide down it. It looks good on tv, but is just horribly fabricated. We have been much happier with the sturdier Rescue Heroes action figurines and accessories.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy...Once you put it togrther!
This toy is lots of fun. There's a good amount of detail and lots of little touches. The only thing I can see is that the darn thing is exhausting to put together because theres so many little pieces. It took me almost two hours to snap everything together and I've made models and done similar tasks. It's not complicated just don't expect a 5 year old to be able to figure it out.My kids are having a blast with it now that it is together. They know there will be hell to pay if they try to disassemble it!

2-0 out of 5 stars it's a good block set
The lair is good for people who like blocks. But i got frustrated a little too easily because i tried to study the instructions then when i put the piece i was working on to another part it crumbled to pieces or i tried to stick it together then it would break. so the durability is not good!!! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Love this toy!
We have five of these large Justice League action figures and they are GREAT.Our 2 boys (5 and 3yrs.) play with them every day, and they play hard. The toys are durable and attractive.I like that the arms and legs have only one point of articulation. It makes it easy for my kids to make them stand. Some of the smaller action figures frustrate them because they tip over too easily. Wonder Woman's legs sometimes get out of whack but they are easily fixed. We really love these and we are hoping to find Aquaman and Green Lantern in our stores soon.

5-0 out of 5 stars Superman.....Super Toy
I bought Superman, along with Batman and Aquaman, for my 6 year-old son's birthday - he loves them!!Along with his 2 younger brothers, the 3 of them can imitate the action-packed adventures they watch on the TV show Justice League Unlimited.I love the durability and the fact that there are no small, little, removable parts to lose and scatter throughout the house. We'll be purchasing The Flash and a couple of the others for Christmas.

5-0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT FOR DISPLAY IN ITS BOX
I must say i love this toy. I am a collector and because of that i wont open it to play with it. i think its just perfecto for display it in his box. Its big, excellent replica from the tv show and very cheap compare to his price. I already have the whole set (aquaman, martian, batman, superman, green lantern, wonder woman an flash). Hawkgirl is coming out late october 2004. As an action figure its not that good to play with it due to his lack of articulation, but as i said before, for dispaying its just perfetc. It comes in a window box package. 2-0 out of 5 stars Smaller figures easier to move
I got this for my 5 year old because he loves all the Justice League guys, particularly Flash. It looks cool but actually at the end of the day he's played way more with the smaller 5" figures than this large one. I think it's because it's hard to move the arms and legs and even when you do they just kind of stick out- it's just not that interesting. I could see this being a neat collector item but in my experience it hasn't been a hit as a true toy. We're sticking with the smaller figures.

2-0 out of 5 stars Its Ok.
It is a flash figure. Until DC Comics and Mattel decide to do something along the lines of DC Legends, similar to Toy Biz' Marvel Legends, we have to be thankful for ANYTHING that comes out.

Unfortunately, however, there is no detail to this line of figures. The bright side is, they do resemble the animated series, in that it is as 2 dimensional, as a drawing.

Nevertheless, since there seems to be a lack of variety in the DC world for reasonablly priced superhero figures, some accolades and applause is deservant for Mattel. We can only hope they drastically improve on the design quality; and, thank them for not gouging us on this line. A much better value than the 4 inch versions.

5-0 out of 5 stars Where's Green Lantern?
I think these large Justice League figures are great. I personally am not disappointed in the lack of articulation (joints where the figure's limbs can move), since I'm getting these for my very young son, and he doesn't care. Besides, these figures are done in the highly simplified "cartoon" style, which to me indicates that they'd naturally be less intricate mechanically. My GRIPE is that many of these toys are not shipped in equal quantities, so there are fewer of one than the others. I've seen tons of Batman figures, but not one Green Lantern, for instance. Many of these scarcer figures are horded by collectors/dealers, leaving people like me who actually want to buy them for their children with an incomplete set. It's sad this is the way the toy business works at times. STILL, these are great toys--very iconic, very well designed. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Rendition of the Prince of Darkness
I bought this more as a display toy and an addition to my Batman collection than a toy to play with. Right now it is sitting on my book case. It's streamlined and majestic and totally represents the aura the character gives off.

I have to agree with many of the reviewers this "toy" is primarily for a display than anything else.I think that it is absolutely beautiful and I recomend it to Batman (junkies) but I really can not really say anything about its value as a toy for a child.

3-0 out of 5 stars Looks great, but not the best toy ever
I bought this Batman, as well as the Superman from the same series, for my three-year-old.They are really great looking toys, but for play, they aren't that hot.As others have said, the toys are poorly proportioned, and don't stand well on their own. Also, they are barely articulated - no elbows, no knees, etc.

My three-year-old thinks they are great at present, just because of the way they look, and they certainly are well enough built to hold up to him playing with them for over six months now.But I don't think they're going to be very exciting, as he gets older and other options are out there.

5-0 out of 5 stars Should be a display toy
My 4 year old loves action figures. He plays rough, and he uses his toy a lot. This action figure should have been sturdy and durable, considering its size.It broke in half within a month. He didn't drop it.It broke by use.The toy could move at the waist, side to side. Then one day it snapped in half at the waist.I would not recommend this for young children that could hurt themselves with it. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars WOW!!! A great toy even if you've never seen Teen Titans!!!
SUPER-COOL "T-Sub" model with space for five 3 1/2" Teen Titans figures! Two harpoon-looking missiles fire about 12" and there are two tiny guns that can be detached. There's also a bay for two AAA batteries and a little button that makes a very cool electronic sound alternating with the voice of Robin saying something like "Titans! Let's go!"

Over all a VERY, VERY COOL TOY WITH A **LOT** OF PLAY VALUE!!! It also has a tricycle arrangement of tiny wheels on the bottom for kids to push it across the ground. You might have something of a search trying to track down all five Teen Titans figures, I got lucky when I went hunting for them. My six-year-old daughter received this as a reward for an excellent report card and she has been playing with it pretty much nonstop! This is an EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT choice for kids who like the Teen Titans cartoon, but it's also EXTREMELY COOL even if they've never heard of the cartoon!! It looks like it's going fast even when it's standing still! The canopies open in two sections to allow access to the detailed little seats and dashboards. Really a great toy! Worth every penny! BUY IT NOW!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars All You Need is Love - John!
These delightful Beatle figures each come with a character from the 1968 animated film, "Yellow Submarine."What a wonderful way of introducing younger generations to the Beatles. The John figure paired with the Love Glove, who had a change of heart after the Beatles sang "All You Need is Love" in the movie makes for a very a propos pairing indeed.

These toys are really more for the serious collectors with the special interest and are really not suitable for children under 10.It is recommended that collectors get all 4 Beatle figures. No doubt fans and others alike will enjoy these figures for their asthetic appeal as well as some Beatle fun while watching the 1968 movie.Take a psychedelic trip with the Beatles through the Sea of Time, etc. in your Yellow Submarine! ...
