Best PS2 controller out there!
First of all, let me clear up something that seems to have alot of people confused around here. The Sony Dualshock 2 IS NOT the same thing as the Sony Dualshock Controller. It is, in fact, VERY different! The Dualshock 2 has fully analog buttons and D-Pad. For those of you who do not know what this means (and there seem to be many of you), it means that its pressure sensative. So, say, if your playing GTA then you can press gently to drive along very slowly, or jam the button down to floor it. You do not have any of these features on the normal Dualshock, and sony is not just trying to make you shell out money for no reason.

And so anyway, all that said, the Dualshock 2 is most likely the best PS2 controller out there. I owned a 3rd party controller for not very long until the analog sticks started going wacko on me and i was forced to get an official Sony one again, but i'm glad i did. It's very comfortable to hold, and the buttons are in very easy to remember places, unlike the Gamecube's controller, and i have yet to find a more durable controller than this.

With all that said, i hope you'll pay a little extra for this high quality controller and not be fooled into buying cheap, 3rd party knockoffs.

By the way, dont get confused and buy those PS2 controllers that look nearly the same as the official Dualshock. The only way to tell the difference is that thay don't say Sony Playstation on the face of them.

It's good enough for my usage.
I recieved this controller when I bought my PS2, and I have to say I like it, it's nice and comfey, but when I first used it, it struck me as lighter than the PS1 controller, which I later figured out why when I opened the controller up. I am sorry to say that, unlike with the PS1 controllers, the Dual Shock 2 doesn't have the feature that the PS1 did. That is, the rumbler wasn't as safely tucked in, as many of us like to toss our controllers around. I was dissapointed when the plastic casing housing the rumbler was snapped, and the rumbler itself was misplaced. This is a definite issue, as I like to play my racing games, and racing games require a rumbler. I also was disappointed by the fact that you can't switch components of PS 1 controllers into the Dual shock 2, but then I discovered I can use PS1 for my racing games. Overall, I'll only use it when I must, but if I don't have to, then I will switch with my Old Faithful PS1 controller. One word of advice, don't throw this too hard, you'll break the plastic around the rumbler.

Great Controller
This is one of the best controlers you can get for the ps2. It feels good when you're holding it and the buttons are easy to access. The pressure sensitive system works great and so does the rumbler. But like all other controllers, if you play for too long, your hands get sweaty and you hand slipps. Best thing if there is more than one player
My self, my wife, and the the two boyz we have are all playing with the PS2. Each has his/her own game and savings. This is a must if you have more than one player using the game. Each has his memory card (stick) and has his/her own game levels saved on it. Never had any trouble with any of them, nor did it ever hang on me. I am truely satisfied with the product.

Great cards
There really isn't any flaws with these memory cards and buying two instead of one is alot better than buying 2 seperately and it'll save you some bucks. The only thing is that if you have 3 or more games that use 2000+K memory space you might wand to consider the 32MB memory card that codejunkies makes.

Must Have For A Playstation2 Owner
I am a frequent playstation2 player and this is a neccessity. I have been getting games since the PS2 came out, and I have over 50 videogames so I have a total of 5 memory cards and they are all full. If you play videogames you are going to need at least one, but it is much cheaper to buy this pack and they come in cool red and blue colors. Some videogames take up ALOT of space on the memory card such as the Jak series and Madden NFL Football series. I reccomend this product to ANY PS2 owner and I suggest buying two of these because in the long run you are going to need them. If you are going to buy someone a PS2 you need to buy them this and an extra controller because if you don't they will very dissapointed. Building another Terminator
Using the technology from this 8MB Memory Card (left over from the dead Terminator), you should be able to construct another Terminator robot and send it through time.

If you create a bad Terminator robot, you should definitely soup it up like the A-Team van, with some crazy special powers that will help it destroy mankind.If you create a good Terminator robot, just make it like normal (and P.S. thanks for saving mankind).

good, not great
The official 8MB PS2 memory card is good if you have only a couple of games.otherwise you need to buy more than one.It is said that it runs 200 times faster, which isn't entirely accurate (usually about 185 times, but 200 is supposed to be the max).I bought this thing used for $17 dollars.That's expensive.If you have an oldr model of Playstation, it would be better to shell out $100 for Final Fantasy 11/hard drive bundle.The hard drive is 40 gigs, which is 5,120 times larger than this memory card.If you have a slim ps2, you can't use the hard drive.In that case, buy the 2 pack memory cards from Sony. It runs from $32 to $40, so get that package.Overall, a fast, reliable card, but Sony needs to produce larger cards.

This game is excellent!It is just like the super mario brothers games that were out when I had my first Nintendo game player.It is identical to the Super Mario Bros 3 original, but they added additional secrets and graphics that give it a more modern video game appeal. What a Game!!!
WOW! I can't believe how much fun this game is! The whole 'real time' thing is really cool. You get on, and if it's dark outside, it's dark on the game.Tom Nook's general store "Nook's Cranny" closes at 10:00 and re-opens the next day at 9:00.
When you get in the game you have to name your character and the town you live in, the only problem is that you only have 1000 bells (the currency in the game) and the teeny tiny house you get costs 19,800 bells. So you have to work part-time in Nook's store. He gives you lots of odd jobs to do, such as posting adds for his store and running packages to and fro.
There are endless things to do, you can fish, shake trees for cherries, 100 bells and other things (but be warned! You can knock a beehive out... and I'll let you figure out what happens next!) You can change your clothes, do favors for neighbors,mail letters...
There are lots of neighbors to talk to, and new ones are always moving in. Sometimes they'll send you letters with gifts attached!
I'm yet to find the 'end' of THIS game!
This is an awsome game I'd reccomend to ANYONE!

BANANAS
I recently left home to live on my college campus and let's just say that Animal Crossing soon became the only education I would be receiving. Yeah, I know it sounds bad...but it really wasnt! (I managed scrape up A's and B's at the end of semesters). I was introduced to this delightful game by none other than my lovely room-mate and the bubbly town of OBX soon became my home away from home! This game is superb and should be ranked in a class by itself...at times it doesn't feel like a game but like LIFE. There are neighbours with various personalities, traveling guests, a local shopping center, fishing, fruit-collecting, and so much more that are simple but heart-warming. NOW! Stop reading reviews and go buy the game TRUST ME on this one, it is worth the buy...:-)

Strangely addicting
Back before this came out, I remember being excited to give it a try mostly because I wanted to get those old NES games on here. Well after I got it, I became hopelessly addicted to further expanding my house and its furnishings as did some of my other friends. If you've somehow managed to stay away from this game, you really do need to give it a chance. Don't be turned off by the graphics because although they look kiddie and dated, they get the job done. Oh no! It looks like your granddad was right--things really were better in the old days. At least they were if you liked 2-D platform games, and Yoshi’s Island is indisputably one of the best ever made.

Yoshi’s Island goes back in time to recount the touching story of the various Yoshis' attempts to unite Baby Mario with his parents. You don’t actually control the Italian plumber-to-be but instead his dinosaur pal, who has the curious ability to eat his enemies and then immediately turn them into eggs, which he can then fling at more enemies.

Since Yoshi isn’t particularly fast and can float in midair for a few seconds after making a jump, the whole dynamics of the normal Mario gameplay have changed, but the same incredible attention to detail and endless imagination that mark all of Nintendo’s best efforts are still here in full effect. In fact they’re joined this time, after the rather plain-looking prequel, by some wonderful pastel-shaded graphics that were jaw-dropping when the game was originally released in 1995 and still manage to impress now.

Too MUCH Fun
This game is AWESOME! It was my first GBA game. BUT, there are some cons. Some levels are just too long and/or impossible. Many times I think i just get lucky. Anyway, my dad saw it and didn't put it down until he beat the game. (no, he didn't play for 24 hours straight.) A fantastic game for mario lovers (like me.) A great idea would be to BUY IT!

yoshis back
yeah, and its just as cool as it was on snes, man this game owns!!! i used to play it on the old system for almost 10 hours sraight, and now its back and better than ever! this is a must have for any gba owner!

Cute enough, but I just can't get into it
Super Mario World 2: Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island. Phew! How about that for a title. I admit I found it a bit confusing putting these Mario Advance games in order but I think I've figured it out now. You gotta admit it's a bit convoluted.

This game is a simple 2D platformer like most of the retro Mario games only it has four more levels than the SNES version released in 1995. It's got easy-going gameplay in the typical Super Mario style, gorgeous graphics, generic sounds and not much to keep me interested. Yoshi IS impossibly cute but even for a guy who likes cute stuff this game is just TOO childish.

It's okay for what it it !
These screens, are good for storage and compactablity. But the game pictures it shows isn't all that great. It is usable, pictures can be grainy and dark at times. But after hooking PS2 up to a tiny TV - it's color and overall picture is so much better, for game playing. If I'd of thought of the small TV, I would not of purchased one of these screens. So,I wasted money - mini TV is better. Add'l note: It's more durable than you'd think, it was knock off a table with the PS2 system, I was worried that the screen would break - it didn't.

Tough little space saver
Currently serving in Afghanistan, I am in Army Aviation. We spend a huge amount of time on missions, and sometime's we're forced to sleep on our helicopters. We cant bring things like TVs with us on the birds, but this little screen fit right in my flight bag along with my slim model PS2. At least it is something for those crappy nights spent in the middle of nowhere. The resolution isnt bad at night, but the screen is too small for some games. But it's better than nothing, and the sand and rough rides dont seem to phase it at all. I'm really happy with this product.

Pokémon Sapphire's updated graphics with weather effects, amazing sound, more than 200 Pokémon with over 100 new species--as well as its faithful adherence to the existing series of Pokémon games--makes for a welcome evolution in the series.

First, the game has a lot in common with Pokémon games Silver, Gold, and Crystal. For example, players can choose to be a boy or a girl trainer, an internal clock sets events at certain times, and the game's handy-dandy Pokédex helps players keep track of the many stats. You're main goal is still to beat all the Gym Trainers and become the Pokémon Master. If you've played the old games, you will be right at home. But not all is the same.

The most obvious change is in the battles themselves. Now that two Pokémon can fight on your side at the same time, you can tag-team them against an enemy by taking advantage of the strengths of your Pokémons while covering their weaknesses. For example, you can now have a water Pokémon watch your fire Pokémon's back.You can also attack more than one Pokémon at a time.

A whole new element to the game focuses on how berries are used in battle. And if you collect enough berries, you can take them to a Berry Blender and make a PokéBlock, which is a little super-charged candy that raises your Pokémon's "Condition" attributes. You can then groom your Pokémon for regional contests and compete for ribbons like "Best of Show," which will unlock additional contests. There's even strategy in how to best use your berries: pick too many and the berry tree will disappear; plant berries, though, and a tree will grow. You can also build a Secret Base in special areas of the game, which you can decorate just like you can your room.

And let us not forget that Pokémon Sapphire has a kickin' multiplayer system, too. You can trade Pokémon, and link up to four players for incredible battles. The only downside is that you can't link up with the old Game Boy Color games. --Bryan Karsh

Sapphire Version
You might not be able to catch all the first 150 PokeMon, but the cool new pokemon and a one-of-a-kind plot, it makes up for it!This game is cool!

An Intelligent Nod
I have yet to play Advance Wars 1 or 2, Intelligent Systems' modern war/strategy series for the GBA, but I can venture an educated guess that Fire Emblem shares a lot in common with it.Fire Emblem is a strategy RPG reminiscent of the Shining Force series for the Genesis, but it's been forever for me to make detailed comparisons of the two. Fans of Shining Force, Ogre Battle, and/or Advance Wars will probably find a lot to like.

Fire Emblem will be fairly easy for those experienced in these kinds of games.Most of the challenge presents itself in keeping your combatants alive, because if they are killed during battle, you won't be getting a chance to get them back.Not even a chance to revive them from defeat (unlike, for example, the popular Final Fantasy Tactics, where you had up to three turns to revive a fallen comrade).This can present a problem if you don't use tight and well-thought out tactics, because the enemy will always jump at the opportunity to kill the weakest party members within range.Fortunately, there's an ability to "rescue" other members, and even pass them off to others in your group.Anyway, I think it's pretty neat that you can't get them back.It adds an urgent dynamic to the game and forces you to really think your moves through.After the first part of the game, it even tells what the characters who didn't make it to the end went on to do with their lives.Some followed the party (although injured and unable to fight), while others went their separate ways.

In battle, it is prudent that you search out the most advantageous terrain (forests, forts) and engage from there.Also, weapon selection is an important factor, as certain weapons are good against some, bad against others.Rounding out the standard and borrowed strategy-RPG elements is the class system, albeit a limited one (nothing on the scale of an FFT or Tactics Ogre; more like Shining Force).Your units can advance in class with a specific item after reaching level 10.

One thing worth mentioning in Fire Emblem is that enemy forces, on some battlefields, are concealed within fog or darkness.The limited visibility adds another layer of danger to the combat, which can be partially alleviated with some items.However, this element only somewhat succeeds.I wonder if the developers could have made it where the limited visibility worked both ways, where the enemy had no way of knowing where you are, and would occasionally stumble into a big pack of your units (I wonder, but I think I know the answer to that one).More importantly, a stealth element is missing in the game, perhaps the ability to sneak up on an enemy without them knowing about your approach.

So, what drives all this fighting in Fire Emblem?The first part of the game has you controlling Lyn, a young woman from the Plains of Sacae, whose family was murdered by bandits, and who is of royal lineage in a far off Kingdom.Her journey takes her to the castle in search of her ailing Grandfather, in order to stop his vengeful brother from usurping the throne.But we find out that this is just a small part of a bigger scheme.Big surprise, huh?The story is ok, and the characters are ok, and the dialogue and writing might be the strongest aspect.However, there's nothing remotely profound or emotional in the melodramatic delivery of the game's story, but that's the norm for video games. Oh well.Instead, you end up developing an attachment to the characters for how well they fight in battle, cheering them on during encounters and hoping they don't get killed. The game succeeds in this.

A Final Fantasy Tactics this is not.It's not dynamic or deep enough in both its gameplay and story and sentiment.However, I'd argue that it's slightly better than Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for the GBA.Both games are derivative of what has come, but Fire Emblem's not stepping backwards--only nodding to the past.

Very good strategy/rpg title for the GBA/DS
This game is an excellent strategy title for your Gameboy and will give you dozens of hours of gameply. (My first go through the game was over 24 hours total)

The characters are all pretty much interesting in this game and there are tons of them to pick and choose on missions. The variety of the units and their personalities are what make this game so enjoyable.

And if a unit dies then its dead. No 1-ups or resurrection in this game. If your character dies then be prepared to never see them again.
This really keeps you on your toes as wounded units need rescuers and backup.
However, this can be a pain to play a mission for over an hour then have the boss kill them in one hit, thus causing you to start the level over again...

All in all this is simple to learn, yet highly entertaining game. Pick it up if youre missing some a challenging and engrossing strategy game.

Saved games reset - *sigh*
A fun strategy game overall, but has a major flaw - I can't stand any game that does not let you save anytime you want.I know this game allows you to save at anytime, but the game auto saves for you at the last turn, so that when you die you cannot revert to where you originally saved.I know the designers of Fire Emblem did this so to make the game more challenging or "realistic", so that players can't "cheat" by playing from that save point over and over again, but it actually makes the game more annoying and frustrating.If you character dies, by lets say a way to powerful and out of balanced mini boss attacking you and killing you with one shot, you have to start the whole stupid level over again.

Otherwise, this game would have received 5 stars - trust me, you'll get frustrated and annoyed the 100th time you main character dies, and you are forced to play the level over again. ... Read more

And if you collect enough berries, you can take them to a Berry Blender and make a PokéBlock, which is a little super-charged candy that raises your Pokémon's "Condition" attributes. You can then groom your Pokémon for regional contests and compete for ribbons like "Best of Show," which will unlock additional contests. There's even strategy in how to best use your berries: pick too many and the berry tree will disappear; plant berries, though, and a tree will grow. You can also build a Secret Base in special areas of the game, which you can decorate just like you can your room.

And let us not forget that Pokémon Ruby has a kickin' multiplayer system, too. You can trade Pokémon, and link up to four players for incredible battles. The only downside is that you can't link up with the old Game Boy Color games. --Bryan Karsh

not all it is cracked up to be
I bought this item thinking it would open up a "whole new world" of gameplay and breathe new life into some old games in my collection.

After having issues with the installation of this adapter to my desktop and PS2 with a router, I pitched the router to the side and went straight from modem to my PS2.Success.Well, sort of.Sure, it worked like it was supposed to, but I didn't really enjoy playing on-line too much.I tried out a couple Pro Skater games, but failed to really see any real difference in gameplay.Lots of games were full, and the ones that weren't, well, I didn't stick around too long.After maybe 30 or 40 minutes, I popped in Vice City and realized the adapter was a waste of time and money.

I've owned the PS2 Network Adapter for almost 2 years and I can honestly say that I've NEVER had any major problems with it.Installation requires nothing more than a little common sense, but for those that lack it, there's an instruction disc that makes installation almost impossible for you to screw it up.Gameplay has been very smooth for me.Of course, you're going to have your occasional server issues and your typical freezing every now and then, but that's to be expected, no product is flawless.I have a broadband connection, so if I play against someone with a slower connection things can drag a little bit.But for the most part my gaming experience with the PS2 Network Adapter has been problem free.I'd reccomend it to anyone.

No tech support
The online adaptor works great with any online game that came out before 2004.DSL is not compatible with this adaptor on ALL games created after 2004.Do not fall for these other reviews.I have DSL and I was able to play Madden 2004 online, but Madden 2005 IS NOT COMPATIBLE, I called EA Sports and a recording tells you DSL is not compatible with ANY EA games sold after 2004.I tried calling my ISP as well as Sony but found absolutely no tech support on this subject.How can you have 10 million users who have DSL and possibly make games that are not compatible with DSL I ask you?Sony found a way.Oh and don't think you'll be able to play SOCOM II online with DSL either, I repeat all newer gameswill not work with DSL.Don't get me wrong, I love the PS2, but man did they drop the ball with the online adaptor!!! ... Mommy look, it's a SpongeBob game. It must be good...
I don't think so. I am a HUGE SpongeBob fan. My friend owns this game for Gamecube. The Gamecube version is great! You KA-RA-TE chop, bubble bowl, and rock out with SpongeBob. Using Patrick you spin around, cartwheel, and smash. That was a description of the Gamecube game. Now, I don't own a Gamecube so I got a GBA game, thinking it would be somewhat the same. I was very wrong. It is a 2d side-scroller, no KA-RA-TE chops, no cartwheel, not one single attack except for smash. You destroy enemies and bosses (very easy bosses) by jumping on their heads. Regular enemies either walk back and forth, float and throw stuff, try to hit you with a hammer, just float up and down or burp on you. Very easy enemies. Even easier bosses. Bosses have their own special combo of attacks. You avoid them(includes running at you, jumping on you, throwing stuff at you) by jumping over them, ducking,or dodging and when they pause you jump on their heads. Do this 3 times and you've beaten that boss, way too easy for gamers. You collect clams to buy so called "upgrades". All these really are are lives, buckets(explained later) and bonus levels. Buckets are buckets full of soap. When you press L SpongeBob drinks the soap and spits bubbles everywhere, destroying every enemy on the sceen. When you hold R you charge up for "hyper speed". When bubbles appear behind you let go of R and you'll run really fast destroying any rocks or enemies in your way. Press A to jump, and A again to float with Patricks pants. B isn't used. Two more things, I went through this game in one hour, and it doesn't save (you have to enter a code you get every two levels). This was a waste of $30. I hope this review helped.

When I first got this game I loved it right away. So far it has probably been the best game I have ever played on game boy adavance. I've gottin' a little through it. If you like adventure games, I think you'll like this. Espeacially for those spongebob fans out there. Video game makers have been experimenting with live-action video in games since the early 1980s but EyeToy (a digital camera for PlayStation2) marks the first time it's been done right. The device magically superimposes video-game graphics onto a player's image and translates his or her movements into controlling elements of the game. It is the best improvement of video game controls since the joystick.

The EyeToy camera plugs into your PS2

EyeToy has two components: a digital camera that plugs into one of the USB ports in the front of the PS2 and a disc of party games. In the EyeToy games--there are 12 on the disc, but some of them are little more than variations on the same theme--your image is at the center of the action. The game is totally controlled by moving your body in front of the camera. For example, in one game where the object is to beat back invading hordes of kung-fu fighters who come at you from the four corners of the screen, you must move your hands (or elbows, head, hips, whatever) to connect with the fighters onscreen and slap them away. Unlike most contemporary video games, EyeToy is so intuitive that most users will be able to play in a matter of seconds--even toddlers and senior citizens. Watching someone play EyeToy is fun: onscreen, the games are like the fanciful mix of live action and animation á la Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and off-screen, the player's movements are almost as goofy as those playing Dance Dance Revolution.

EyeToy is best enjoyed by groups

Setting up EyeToy is simple--just plug in the camera and drop in the disc--but fine-tuning it for your game environment takes a little effort. First, you'll need to have adequate, well-balanced lighting. We found that a bare 60-watt light bulb positioned behind the EyeToy camera worked pretty well. Next, you should clear away as many objects as possible between you and the EyeToy camera. Not only can extra objects impede the camera's function, they can present hazard when playing the game. A uniform background helps, too; we found that a light-colored wall worked better than a dark background. Before you drag the couch out on the lawn and pull pictures off the wall, try out the camera in different positions to see if you can find something that works without redecorating. The recommended placement of your EyeToy camera is right on top of your TV, but if your PS2 is situated farther than the 72-inch attached camera cord, you will have to get creative. We tried pointing the camera up at us from a coffee table and it worked fine.

The EyeToy games, while fun, are too simple to keep solo gamers interested for long periods of time. EyeToy is best as a party game played with groups of friends, or as a way to show off your PS2. Decent fun..
This ' game ' is decent fun. It's VERY innovative and capable. ( I've heard of it soon being able to hook up online and you'll be able to chat with people. ) This game is just repetetive. And a workout! There are times when at the end of the day when I played this when my arm was about to fall off. Buy this though if you want a strange, original, yet obvious idea, ' game ' . You most likely will not be too dissapointed in your first few outings with it.

A Priceless Treasure for the PlayStation 2
EyeToy: Play is really fun game for the PlayStation 2. It's one of the top ten reasons why the PlayStation 2 is the BEST gaming system in the whole world (at least in our opinion). It allows you to play a variety of old school arcade-style minigames while being able to see yourself on your very own television set and create your own backgrounds through the USB camera. It does this via a motion-sensor detector, which means that no controllers are required. The minigames are broken down into 3 levels of difficulty: easy, medium, and hard. They allow you to choose from a variety of characters, and they never get old. Some of my personal favorites include "Boxing Chump", in which you box a robot-like opponent for points; "Rocket Rumble", in which you blow up as many rockets as possible turning them into fireworks before they exit the screen, "Soccer Craze", in which you are given three chances to keep a soccer ball in the air with your head or hands; "Wishi Washi", which consists of you cleaning windows; "Beat Freak", in which you catch floating CDs by beating them into a four-sided speaker sytem; "Mirror Time", in which you mimic the actions presented in a series of mirror directions; and "Ghost Eliminator", in which you play a ghostbuster in charge of exterminating ghosts simply by waving your hand over them. Additionally, each game comes with a training guide, so as to eschew confusion on how each game is played. There's also a playroom, which allows you to do things like swim under water with different colors of fish, pop bubbles, play with falling snowflakes, perform crazy actions while the computer mimics them, or see the background environment with no effect. In each of the games, it is possible to obtain a high score (as with most other old school arcade-style games). In doing so, it can take your picture by having you pose for a photo.

EyeToy: Play is also an ideal choice for a fun way to exercise. You can blow off steam in "Boxing Chump" (makes good anger management), or practice some dance moves in "Disco Stars." It offers some very pleasant music at the selection menu and in each of the games (which kinda sounds like the Agent 9 levels in Spyro 3) and combines this with a solid gameplay experience. In short, this is just one product that no self-respecting PlayStation 2 owner should be without (this is PS2 exclusive by the way). Now, if only they'd release EyeToy Play 2...

Interesting idea, but poor quality for the money.
The Eyetoy is an interesting idea in videogames... a camera that actually maps your movement onto the screen. I love the idea, and I love that the technology now exists. However...

For the amount of money involved, Sony could have invested in a higher quality camera. The image is too fuzzy to be satisfying, the unit detects light and dark spaces poorly, and adjustment is a pain. A wonderful 2nd life
i am writing while eating popcorn so escuse any errors. i am 12 years old and this game is like a 2nd life to me. i got for my b-day this year(2005).My birthday is on may 15 and my grandma died the morning on may 15 2005. we were going to go to church together.i stayed in my room all day playing Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life.It kept me calm and made stop crying. it made feel better. Now ive been hooked on it ever since i named my person after my grandma.every time i play it reminds me of her. i dont know what i wouldve done without Harvest Moon.:)

WOW- But sorta hard
Man this is so cool! I don't even HAVE it, my friend brought it when she came for a sleepover and we practically played it all night! It is sorta hard, especially the Jasmine part, and Belle is the easiest, however I like Cinderella. You play as all six of the princesses so it's like 6 games in one.
Game controls (Note these are for Chapter 1, and you can press start to pause and you can open chests by going in front of them and pressing A):
Belle: B to throw snow ball, left and right to move, A to jump, down to make a new snowball.
Cinderella: A to bonk Lucifer on the head, B to clean the floor, Left and right to move.
Ariel: Up down left and right to move, B to blast with the trident.
Aurora: A to turn butterflys into fairies, B to put the guys to sleep, left and right to move.
Snow White: A to jump, B to sing and put the wicked trees to sleep, Left and Right to move.
Jasmine: Up down left and right to move. Go over a switch to activate it.

Varying levels of difficulty
This game was my 5 year old daughter's first for her new GBA SP.She was able to play Cinderella right away, and worked her way up to Sleeping beauty and Snow White, completing all the chapters for each.She found the 2nd chapter for Belle easier than the first, simply because she didn't know that Belle could make more snowballs (we figured this out by accident).Ariel and Jasmine are still a bit too complicated for her to get through (I found them difficult the first couple of times), but it is a challenge she looks forward to.I believe this range in difficulty is a plus for the game as any child can begin it and work their way up.

A Disney Classic
I'm an adult and I love video games. I chose Disney Princess because I'm an avid Disney fan. This game only took me a few hours to complete but was highly entertaining along the way. The single-player game is somewhat halting, with not a lot of room to move around (fixed paths to move in, you go where they tell you to go) in the game play but for any girls, ages reading level and up, it is fabulous. The colors are vivid and there are many levels with items you have to find while keeping your life up. I recommend this game for any Disney fan. ... Read more

Old School Fun
If you've never played a Kirby game...shame on you.

I'm almost twenty.Yes, I like to play a game with a little, pink blob as the main character who likes to eat all sorts of things, and who is cute and squishy.

Truth be told, I don't just like playing Kirby games; I love it.When it comes right down to it, the Kirby series is pure, unbridled fun.
I've currently beaten Nightmare in Dreamland, and have been playing Kirby and the Amazing Mirror (another Kirby game for the GBA) for...maybe 6 hours total, now.I only have 40% of it completed.But, even as I am not finished with it yet, I'm going to draw some comparisons to it with Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland (NiD), because they're very, very similar.

Gameplay wise, there aren't too many options: you jump, and press the jump button continuously to make Kirby float for as long as you want.When you want to stop, press the "suck" button to have him release air, and he'll fall back to earth.The "suck" button, as I mentioned, is an ability of Kirby's, wherein he opens his mouth and proceeds to suck in an enemy.If you press the down button the D-pad, you can sometimes gain the powers of the said enemy.
For example: You absorb the powers of the sword enemy, and you sprout a little cap, reminiscent of the Legend of Zelda hero, Link, complete with a little sword which you can use to twirl in the air, to do a slide move, and to slash on the ground.

Amazing Mirror has more absorb-able enemies than NiD, and when you do absorb the enemies in Amazing Mirror, you'll have extra moves that NiD doesn't have.Such as the aforementioned sword enemy: in Amazing Mirror, you can also stand still and deliver a series of lightning fast slashes which form into a huge combo, ending with a single, huge swipe of the sword.NiD still is fun for what it has.

NiD's control is basic, and a newcomer will probably catch on with no problem in the first 10 or 15 minutes.There are no fancy combinations or confusing button sequences that need to be played out to enjoy this.You can double tap the D-pad to run, and press the down button and jump button to perform a little slide move, too.

The visuals are very simple.Charmingly simple.Enemies are "cute," backgrounds are scrolling vistas of mountains, plains, or other related things, and the colors are bright and perky.It's nothing incredible, but it gets the job done.It's not as pretty as Amazing Mirror, which seems to sport more environmental detail.The best way to describe it is that it pretty much looks like the NES version was given a quicky face-lift on the SNES.

I'm not going to beat around the bush; the Kirby games have some extremely catchy and memorable music.It's odd...considering the...type of game this is.If one would have to guess how the music would sound by looking at screenshots of it, or reading about it, they would probably say it would be very happy music.And, yes, it is for the most part.But the actual compositions themselves are just so...fun.I almost always find myself humming along.This hearkens back to the days when systems couldn't "wow" us with the actual sound quality, so the composers had to come up with excellent melodies to keep up interested, demonstrated first by games such as the first Legend of Zelda, and the Castlevania series.

The game is seperated into 7 worlds, each containing six levels which, on average, take about 10 or so minutes to beat.Mini games are also included, such as one where you must toss a bomb around a field using pans to hit it back and forth; if you don't time your hit right, it explodes.There are others, but that is one of the kinds you will encounter, if you choose to.The level design is usually very fun, but it is beat by Amazing Mirror again, because in some levels, you can have Kirby practically fly over the whole stage without ever doing anything else, and this takes a lot of the fun away.Still, you don't have to use this tactic, but it shouldn't be available.

The game is very short; I beat it on a Sunday afternoon.Replay value is decent because you'll almost always miss something in a level, and in order to get 100% completion, you must explore every crevice of this game.

When all is said and done, Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland is an above average game that is good for playing whenever you have nothing else to do.It's pretty addictive (I should know; like I said, I beat it in one sitting), and I would recommend it for anyone's GBA library.The final boss battle is worth the purchase alone.

Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land is a cute, colorful game with exciting levels and fun activities.Many of your enemies (including some bosses) can be sucked up and copied, making for interesting abilities and adorable costumes!Once you've become used to using Kirby and know his basic attacks and such, most of the bosses are pretty easy to beat, even the final boss.Lives are easy to earn, considering that you can earn them through mini-games, and by pressing "A" at the end of each level when Kirby is getting ready to shoot off of the trampoline.Extra points can also be earned by doing this.The mini games consist of a race, a "hot potato" type game, and a "who can press the button fastest?" game.Little fun parts in levels include swimming, braving strong winds, and doing special things to get MORE extra lives, such as copying a fire enemy and lighting a fuse that blows you from a cannon to a special place.Maximum Tomatoes can also be easily earned by beating a boss in the stadium.

Overall, a fun game that, unlike many other games, never makes you too frusterated.Definately a favorite Game Boy game of mine, now.I only hope they keep making Kirby games for a long time.Also, there is a level in this game that looks similar to the levels in the old, colorless Kirby games...which is kind of cool if you've played one.And, there's also a new Kirby game out now called The Magic Mirror, that is pretty cool.Go, Kirby! ... Hi, If you are reading this review listen VERY closely! I'm an 12 year video game freak kid who's on a mission to find the most fun video games (duh!) !!!!!!!! Here's some stuff on one of my FAVE games, Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town!!!!!!

When I first got Harvest Moon, I was a little nervous. I thought, "Am I that in to farming???". But guess what?, Harvest Moon totally ROCKED MY WORLD!!! I played it for months! Than I took a little break from it to play Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life, another great Harvest Moon game!Then, I got hooked back on to it and here I am. Here are some of the way cool suff you can do:

. Chose one of 5 girls to Marry
. Raise farm animals, crops, and your kid!
. Sell crops, animals, fish, and ores
. Enter contests and have fun in festivals
. Interact with other characters in the game
. Fish
. Buy seeds, food, tools, sacks, and the blue feather!
. Ask the Harvest Sprites to help you with your work
. Mine
. cook with rescipies
. build on to your house
. plus tons of other stuff!

If I could give th
