i love this toy!
hi, im 10 years old and i really like this toy! there are so many diffrent things it can do, it is well worth the money!!! there is a little vehicle thing that a rescue hero can ride on, the front of the ship can be used as a spacepod (the ship is NOT a good flying toy but the space pod is simple to fly),the front and the vehicle can be made into a giant robot,the top can be made into a hang glider, and one of my favorite parts: IT HAS A COMMAND CENTER WHERE THE RESCUE HEROES REALLY INTERACT WITH EACHOTHER!!!! I have two mission select robots with thing i call "backpacks" and their names are matt medic and gil gripper. they are also compatible with the command center. i also have a cool robot called fire stomper and billy blazes. NOTE (the fire stomper comes with billy blazes and neither are compatible with the command center but fire stomper can move in a neat way!) then i have the robot that came with the ship.

in my opinion out of all the people i have billy is the best :)

you may be wondering why a 10 yr old is playing with this but i know a 12 year old and many other 10 and 11 yr. olds with this toy. i don't play with it like let's go put out the fire, or something, i play with it like the robots are attacking and stuff, very fun toy! i totally recommened this toy and these other toys below:

very disapointed
This was the only toy my son requested from Santa and what a letdown. I think that Fisher Proce rushed it for the holiday season because it does not compare to the quality of the other toys. It falls apart and really does not do much for the size or promise of the ads. I hate this hunk of junk that now takes up a lot of space and I have learned my lesson for next year.

rear wing falls off
My son was SO excited to get this for his birthday. I put it together with ease.However the rear wing keeps falling off.It fell off within thefirst 5-10 minutes of EASY play.It does click back on but continues to fall off with ease.The front wheel has also come off.The ear muffs and hat do not fit the ground crew man very well.There are very cute mugs and juice boxes that store in the plane that are very easy to lose.One of the juice boxes is actually stuck in between the rear seat and the wall and we cannot get it out.Anyhow We did take the mugs and drinks away and have just been dealing with putting the wing and wheel back on. For the price I would think it should stay on much better.If I had the choice to get another one of these I would not.This was a gift and had I known it would fall apart this easy I would have returned it without opening it and gotten something different.

My son recieved this airplane as a gift because he loves airplanes.However much he liked it I didn't like it at all because he was constantly coming to me to put the wings back on or the tail or the door.It was very annoying and eventually the parts begain to come up missing.There are tiny little red squares that keep these parts on and they began to come up missing first.My son loved it but we had to throw it out because it was in pieces in the end with no way to put it back together.I won't buy this or any other playmobile products for this reason.

Sturdy, high quality and lots of fun!
This playmobil airplane is a really great toy. It is made out of high quality plastic, is easy to put together, and stays together (pretty well) during "enthusiastic" play. It comes with the two airline employees (pilot and steward/co-pilot) and the orange-vested tarmac agent. So funny! There are three little play cartons of juice, and four little cups for attending your customers (easy to lose), the tarmac agent has those yellow paddles and ear protectors for guiding the plane in for a landing. The plane has a side door that opens up but also the entire top comes off for easy passenger seating. There's an undercarriage storage area for any luggage that your passengers might carry.
My boy absolutely loves this airplane toy. He has gathered up a whole airport utilizing his Playmobil taxi, some generic helicopters and passengers from various other playsets (Lego, etc). I think the Playmobil Airport Security Screener set is in his near future (yes! I kid you not!). I am happy that he prefers imaginative play with this airplane than with his structured Hot Wheels playsets. A bit thumbs up!

Wanna keep your kids entertained??
My Goodness!We started with such a small little Geotrax set and look at what we wound up with!!My 3 year old got a small set right before his birthday and played with it quite a bit.Then he got MORE for his birthday...and NOW, it is the first thing he plays with when he wakes up and the last thing he play with when he goes to bed!The airport set is probably his favorite by far!But he and his big sister LOVE to take it apart and make new creations with all the tracks and play with the battery operated train, fly the airplane, load cargo, you name it!They really use their imagination and work together with all this stuff!

The only downside is I had to buy a REALLY big tub to put it all in when we don't want to look at it all!The control center, construction set, airplane set and all take up quite a bit of room and there are times when we want it just "put away" for a while.But that's the only bad thing I can say about it...this stuff is just COOL!

I recommend this for ANY kid, probably ages 2 and up.I bought a set for my 2 year old nephew in March and my sister says he LOVES it.If your kids like planes, trains, and automobiles, this is the toy for him!

Another great addition to our geotrax set-up
This is a fun addition to the system.Set up time is less than 2 minutes.My girls love it.The only problem is the fight that sometimes happens over who gets to fly the plane.

A great addition to any child's rescue hero collection
My 5 year old son has had this toy for 3 months and he still enjoys playing with it.He has almost all of the Rescue Hero vehicles and this is one of the few he uses on a regular basis.His favorite feature is an orange button on top that causes the "feet" to pop out.There are also 2 pinchers that unfold from the bottom that come in really handy for rescuing people or animals.One rescue hero can sit inside and each pincher can hold another.

This toy also really allows my son to use his imagination.He'll sit for over an hour with it and his other Rescue Hero toys rescuing his toy animals and toy cars from earthquakes, volcano eruptions and more.

This toy is super durable.It has been stepped on, dropped and thrown down the stairs and it still looks as good as new.Any young rescue hero fan would enjoy this toy.:-) ... Read more

Master of the skies
Everyone knows who Harold the helicopter is. He flies around the Island of Sodor taking visitors, cargo, and sometimes Sir Topham Hatt. Harold can sometimes tease the engines but is always there when a friend is in need. I have had this toy for about 12 years and it is still in mint condition, that shows you how durable it is. I don't play with it anymore, now it is for display only.

Broken propellers!!
My son has repeatedly broken the plastic propeller. Why can't it be made of wood like the rest of it. I was disappointed with Harold being plastic. Luckily they replace it for us. We love the thomas toys

Lots of fun, but easily broken
My 3 year old son did chores around the house to buy this toy himself. We were very disappointed when one of the rotors broke off within a month. I was with him when it broke. He was not doing anything rough with it. He didn't even drop it. We did not realize there was a guarantee. We've glued it back together at least 10 times. I don't know if that voids the guarantee or not.

Great fun for my son!
Wish I had a camera in hand when my 4 year old opened this. He loves Toy Story and was thrilled that he now had figures he could act out some scenes with. The only thing I was disappointed with was the spaceship is not the most durable of toys. It probably won't stay in great condition long. The doors on it are flimsy. Not durable at all
We have many of the Jay Jay characters and all are poorly made, very disappointing as our daughter LOVES JJ and playing with them. The paint chipped almost immediately after purchase, the parts fall off, the plastic propeller pieces break off & create choking/cutting hazards.These can't endure the typical 'wear & tear' of the 3yr+ crowd & our daughter has been fairly gentle with them.They don't survive a drop off her play table.I would advise against purchasing these until they are more durable like Thomas pieces.

A Surprise Hit!
My daughter selected this over a year ago from Toys R Us with a gift certificate.I thought it would surely be cast aside quickly since it just sings while flapping its wings.I couldn't convince her of any other neat toys and so she bought it.It has sustained her love and interest and is durable!It's been through a LOT and still works great!She even bathed it in the sink and a new set of batteries made it work again.I am still in awe!

Cheap, Cheap Plastic Not much fun
This looks like such a great toy, and the packaging is really impressive, but don't be fooled like we were. I assumed that by paying close to 25 dollars it would be somewhat durable-just reasonable durability-I don't expect much from plastic toys...but this is really really bad. You might also think that paying that much would give you things like closable doors...you know, 99 cent matchbox cars' doors stay closed, but the space shuttle's doors don't-which limit it's "fun" factor. The "movable arm" is just a free floating plastic stick that simply is stuck into a hole..It doesn't even stay in. The "launch pad" and the fuel tank/boosters are down right horrible. They don't connect to the shuttle, which was disapointed all of us, especially my son. And it is so cheaply made, I really can't believe that it wasn't bought from the dollar store. My son was so excited for this set. But after playing with it for just a few minutes he hasn't gotten it out again. I would definately NOT recommend this

Lauch time!!
We have been searching for a shuttle for a year now and are glad to have found this one.The shuttle itself is durable, yet safe enough for my one year old to play with as well as my older two.They love to fly around, dropping off the rocket boosters and the re-landing on the launch pad.The space vehicle and astonauts are an added bonus, even though they do not fit together. A well made case for the wooden figures!
I got this case for my 2 2/1 yr old son for Christmas. He loves it because the Jay Jay wooden figures can be put in one special place. It seems to be well made. Excellent for Space Nerds
I am a space nerd and was fascinated by the level of detail of this set. I agree with the other reviewers: not a toy for kids. Everything is too spindly and small, but if you are looking for a (relatively) inexpensive display for the mantle or shelf, this is a great little unit. It looks like the real thing but is made entirely of plastic, and is actually pretty authentic. It's good for explaining how the Apollo spacecraft functioned and how the parts went together, but it's also pretty fragile and a kid would break this in about 5 seconds.

This toy is junk.
In theory, this is a great toy.It is very realistic, and you are supposed to be able to put the astronauts in the command module and the LEM for great imaginative play.

In reality, this toy falls apart the minute you remove it from the packaging.You can't put the astronauts anywhere because they splinter and you can't pull the components apart as shown because pieces break off at the lightest touch.

It is NOT worth the price and NOT worth the disappointment on a child's face.

Museum piece!
Purchased this item, and as the other reviewers have mentioned, it fell apart in our hands.NOT for Kids!!!!!!!!!!I am attempting to find another like item, but I have my doubts!

"Mom!! This is so COOL!!!"
The exact words of my four-year-old about this toy.He loves the missile action and the lazer feature of Buzz.Also, takes a lickin and still going strong (2 year old loves it as well.)One of the cooler Buzz's...the coolest according to my son.

Not the original Buzz
My son, who loves Toy Story and will be Buzz for Halloween, got this for his birthday and was sorely disappointed.I didn't pay any attention when I bought it and never realized it was not the original with the flip out wings, the correct colors (green and purple) and the voice that says "to infinity and beyond".He knew instantly that it wasn't "the Real Buzz" and cried.The jet pack wouldn't stay on his back and the missle disappeared within minutes. (The shooting missle is not really appropriate for a 3 yr old anyway).I immediately packed it back up with all those twist ties and took it back to Toy R Us.Then I went over to the Disney store at the mall and bought the "Original Buzz" (it even says it on the box) for the same price.If you don't have a Disney store near you, the original Buzz is on sale online at Disneystore.com for $14.99.Buy that instead of this imitation!

Buzz is not made only for kids from 4-9. I am 12 and have lots of games, but I can tell you this is one of the best. Buzz is fun at all ages. He is the perfec toy. This is because he says things like "To infinity and bejonde", which teach us that we should not be afraid to move on a reach our dreams, no matter how many times we fail. What I am trying to say is that some times we forget how fun it is to play with our old toys and what they have tought us. So the last thing I am going to say is, if you are 10 or older, don't just stop buying this great toy just because it says it is for people 4-9. PIECE OF JUNK!!- DOES NOT STAY TOGETHER!!
DO NOT BUY THIS TOY! It will be like my son's now in pieces all over the house! The pieces do not stay together at all! If you buy it I suggest super glue, screws -something to keep it together! I wouldn't even give the overall quality ONE star but ZERO wasn't avaliable- I TOO wish santa NEVER saw this toy!

Not as good as the old one
My little cousin has this new version of this toy.I can remember way back in 1982, the year I was born, Mattel released the first version of this Hot wheels cargo plane.That version was HIGHLY superior and somehow had much more durable plastic, as well as a little sound box that ran on a 9 volt battery. It actually made a takeoff sound when you pressed a button on the back, which is now sadly missing.Also I recall playing with this plane for many years and the only thing that completely broke on it was the little clips holding the wings on. But that was like I said after many years of playing with it.

This new version is absolute junk.It has an obviously thinner cheaper plastic, no button sound, and the cargo doors fall off way too easily. If you can find the older model, it is a much better value overall.Due to its age it might fall apart now, but from my experience it was much easier to fix as well as more durable and had that neatplane sound button to keep interest.It looked the exact same as this, complete with the opening hatches front and rear, but with the little button in back and was a whitish color. MY memory of htis toy is a bit fuzzy, but I can remember having al ot of fun with the original version and it pains me htat Mattel would go so cheap with it like htis.todays kids deserve the same quality toy that I got, complete with that sound.

WONDERFUL TOY!
I got one each for my 2 year old son and my 3 1/2 year old cousin. Both of them loved it and spent all day playing with with them.
