this is fun but one
my parents got this swing and my dad wants to put duck tape on the bottom and my mom wants to put plastice claps on the thing is if you read this and you want to put duck tape on the bottem don't , because its not safe.

great swing
We are about to put the swing up for child number 3. My oldest is almost 7 and the swing still looks like new! The swing is a good size for a variety of ages and fun shaped. The only problem is the ropes fray within a year leaving splinters in the childs hand. We replaced the rope once and now have simply duct taped (in matching yellow- they offer many colors now) the part of the rope that hands touch.

Good swing, bad rope
We have had this swing for nearly seven years, and the swing itself has held up in amazing shape. It has been used by my 2 children and my nephew, and will soon be handed back again for more use.The dolphin is terribly cute, very sturdy, and the thing swings quite smoothly.My one complaint has been about the yellow rope.After one year in the midwest weather (stored for the winter, mind you), the rope started to fray. Not in a way that would compromise the safety (it's not unraveling), but the rope developed all of these little sharp spines that made it feel like you were holding on to a thorny rose. Best purchase ever
I bought this train for my grandaughter 8 years ago for her second Christmas. Yea she rode around the little track on it but it wasn't the most thrilling adventure of her 19 month old life.I held onto it and lo and behold two years ago another grandchild! He started riding this train at 1 year on the track and quickly ditched the track for more adventuresome land (he is 2 1/2 now) and he barely gets off of it. He has figured out how to manuever it around the house, under the kitchen table and around many obstacles. It is the most used toy in our house. Peg Perego is the best I had to replace the battery and the starting switch. I called and within the week had my new items delivered to the door. Cute
My daughter loves her lion, she recieved it as a gift when she was 4 months old, too young to ride it, but she loved listening to the music.

Doesn't work!
I was terribly disappointed when the music element on the first lion, then the replacement sent, didn't work!We tried everything to get the music to work but both toys were defective.Very disappointing for a high priced item.Seam stitching across back of lion also very uneven and tightly stretched - good possibility of quickly tearing.Contacting manufacturer directly also next to impossible but thankfully Amazon.com was easy to work with on the return. ... A Parent's Nightmare
This toy took me three HOURS to assemble.The toy DOES come with a, "mixed bag of nuts and bolts."My daughter will be riding this around with no bolt or nut holding the seat on (not a huge safety issue to me as it will be used indoors on carpet).The hole for the bolt on the seat appeared to be crooked so I attempted to "modify it" only to find out an hour later that it was the nut--TOO SMALL!

Some of the stickers are ALREADY off--straight from the box.

This toy is a train wreck.The only reason I didn't return it was because of my slight modification.The sounds and lights are nice for my 20 month old; however, it isn't as educational as it boasts--only attempts to teach left and right.

A little difficult to assemble
Very cute toy, kids love it but it's somewhat difficult to assemble.

VERY POOR QUALITY
Assembling this toy is a headache.Aside from the poor engineering, the hardware provided was a mixed bag of mismatched bolts that didn't fit the holes and nuts.Also, as another review mentioned, the stickers were already coming off.

BEEP BEEP!!
It is acute toy to play with for the kids....on the noise level-it is rather on the loud side-and sometimes annoying, especially when it says VA VA VAROOOOM BUM BUM BUM VAROOOM(in an annoying womans voice) overall it is a fun toy.

TOO CUTE!!!
I just got this in the mail today; a Christmas gift for our daughter.And what little I could play with it without taking it out of the package is just too cute!!!Looks like it will hold up just as well as the house we have already.I can't wait for Christmas so we can play with this. I was able to get it at Kmart.com if you are having trouble locating one.

daughter's first little people toy
My daughter received this toy for her first birthday. She enjoys activating the sounds and taking the pepole out of and putting them in the vehicle. I am sure that she will play with it more as she grows older.

First Choice Coming in the Door
Grandson #1 heads right for this car on every visit.Grandson #2 (who lives farther away) will be getting his own this year.Good toy for starter training any saddle riding sport (trikes, bikes, horses). Won't tip over. The limited steering radius makes this suited as an indoor toy.

Not a great ride-on
My daughter likes to ride on this car and beep the horn, but we only use it inside.I tried taking her outside on it once, but it is so unmaneuverable that I gave up.Radio Flyer seems to be good at wagons, not so good with other wheeled toys (a friend has a Radio Flyer tricycle that is top heavy and tips over constantly.)

Disappointed
This toy is more of a nostalgic collector's piece. It is heavy & unmaneuverable.It'll go straight but doesn't really turn. Keep it indoors or the bright shiny surface will quickly become dull and faded. I guess the best part is the little squeeker horn. Still ... the boys (now 18 & 20 mos) sit on it all the time and have learned to make it go with their feet on the patio outside. to fit the Big Red Stake Wagon...
For the Big Red Stake Wagon [has wood rails (that say "big red ATW) around one end of the wagon] you must install the seat so the child's back is facing the handle or you need to take the rails off.The seat strap does fit around the wagon but you must adjust the straps at all three ends.They must be all the way at the end of the strap including the end that has the CAUTION label (i removed the label to secure the buckle to the strap).This is the only way the safety strap will fit completely around the wagon.

It fits!
I just received my wagon seat today and was scepticle on whether it would fit my wagon or not after reading the other reviews.Well it fit.I have the Big Red Stake (ATW) which is 50% deeper than the standard wagon and it also has the wooden rails.The seat needs to be installed on the opposite end of the rails and the (3) buckles of the strap need be closest the ends.I also needed to remove the CAUTION label to use that part of the strap - but it does fit! ... Fun, with a few drawbacks
We got this truck for my son when he turned 1, and at 18 months he still loves it. Overall I'm still pleased with it too, but there are a few things I don't like, and now I'm looking for a new riding toy that doesn't have these issues:

- The seat has no "butt curve" and it's kind of high off the ground for kids under 18 months, so my son straddles it a bit awkwardly. With shoes on he can push it along now.

- Because the seat is flat, he thinks it makes a wonderful stepstool, but then it rolls out from under him! Use caution on non-carpeted surfaces especially. I've had a few coronaries already from turning around to discover my son wobbling precariously atop the toy, reaching for glasses, knives, etc. that I thought were safely tucked away.

- This may just be our toy, but we have a problem with the sounds going off by themselves, especially the sound effects for the pegs under the seat. We have changed batteries and it still happens. Usually when it starts going off we just take out the batteries, but my son notices and doesn't like it as much.

- I disagree with reviewer who said the sound effects aren't loud. Ours are! I wish it had volume control.

On the plus side: Babies LOVE all the buttons to push for sayings, music and sounds. You will quickly learn the toolman's song too! I like that it has a safety bar underneath to keep it from tipping backwards. And so far it's very sturdy other than the short in the sound board. Like I said, still happy with the purchase, but now I have a better idea what kind of riding toy I'd like him to have.

Great fun!
My son received this for his second birthday.He already had a ride on but the seat dipped low and since he is tall for his age, he wasn't able to ride and scoot.This seat is a good height.He plays with it all the time and it has become his favorite.He loves to hammer the pegs and the sound effects are not too loud.I agree with the other reviews about the stickers.They are not put on very well, kinda bubbly.Other than that,its a great hit!!!

My son loves it!
We just got this for my sons 2nd birthday and it is his new favorite toy. The sound is not load at all which is nice. Though like the other reviewer I did have an issue with the stickers but I just went over them all and made sure they were on good. Nice addition to my son's wagon
I ordered this for model #1800(Exclusive Big Red Stake Wagon). It fits perfectly and is comfortable. I was tired of using blankets that kept slipping around against the metal bed. This pad is vinyl and stays put. Can be easily wiped clean .

Great pad for the right wagons
This little bed pad is perfect for the Radio Flyer models: #89, #90, #95, #98, #99, #18, #22, #24, #28, #31, #32, #1800. Make sure to purchase the special pad if you own the Model #29 All-Terrain Cargo Wagon.The radio flyer website explains the difference.My 2-year old is able to take longer rides in our wagon (#32) with the pad - he's not nearly so antsy to kneel or stand as he was on the metal alone.

Pad is to short for wagon

Sally Sheep rocks!
Sally's a little pricey, so it helps if you're a gradparent with a soft spot in your heart for a cute face, solid construction and easily washability, if she's going to make her way into your home.

She comes with a sturdy plastic zip bag for storing after granddaughter (or even grandson) finally outgrows her. Storing, that is, until the next generation falls in love with Sally all over again.

She's even a great footrest in addition to being a safe, low-to-the-ground rocker.

Our only caution is to be careful not to introduce the battery-operated "baa-baa" capability until she has become a secure and accepted member of the family. It's much more fun to teach the younger generation what Sally says rather than rely on technology to do it for you. ... Read more

Button is hard for toddlers under 3 to press
I bought this toy for my son's 1st birthday. He is now 22 months and it is still hard for him to steer it and press the
"go" button.He still has fun with it and I am glad that I bought it, but even though the age said 12 months and over, I should've waited and bought him a bigger one once he got older.

Wonderful
My Son loves this ride. he even rides it in the house. He Hasnt been outside with it alot b.c it has been cold outside. But When it gets hot I know he is going to enjoy it more. Its real easy to use. all they do is push the button and it goes forward. I havent had to charge it since we got it for him for X-mas.

My 12 month old loves this car

Cute pony...
We bought this for our year old son and he seems to really like it.Even though he's too young to rock on his own, with our help he likes to ride this toy. And to the previous reviewer, to change the batteries, there is a little velcro closing underneath the area on top of the head.If you open that, the battery compartment is there!!!

Daughter Loves Her Pony!
We bought this pony for my 18 month old daughter and for about a month she was scared to death of it. But now she loves it BUT after a month the batteries have worn out and we can't figure out where the barreries are so don't throw away your directions! Other than that I would buy again.

Not so great to put together
This toy looked like a great idea for my son.However, I just got done writing the manufacturer to find out how to solve the fact that I can't get all of the screws to stay in.They simply aren't long enough.Plus, fitting the top part into the rocking base was more than a little difficult.The concept was easy but the amount of strength and ingenuity required to put them together was almost too much!I had to use a screw driver to help ease the parts together--you'll know what I'm talking about when/if you buy it. ... Great Ride!
This was an absolutely great gift we got! My son got it for his second birthday. It took me about an hour to put together. Nothing too serious, but a second pair of hands was needed to put the wheels on. (It recommends this in the directions anyway.) Very easy for a child to maneuver, (steering wheel makes smooth turns), and the handle is perfect for a helping push if they can't pedal yet. Fun design, and cool sound effects. My only problem is I have two boys and only one car! I highly recommend this to any liitle boy or girl who loves to "drive" around.

FUN, FUN, FUN!!Well worth the money...
We got this train for my son when he was 10 mos. old (not even walking yet) and he is now almost 2 1/2 and still plays with it every day!This is some of the best money we've ever spent, especially on a toy.It is one of the first toys visiting kids play with and I am amazed at it's longevity.It still looks virtually brand new, too.Chicco makes very high quality products.

Great Ride On!
This was my son's Santa gift for Christmas. He was an early walker and 10mo old when he got it. He loved it from day one and pushed it all over. Since then he has learned how to ride it and one of his favorite things is to put things in the seat and push it around. He also love to sit on it and chase the dogs around. At 18mo old this is still one of his favorite toys and is standing up well to my son's constant use and abuse (he does stand on it and sit on it while its on its side). I love to find toys that don't flash and make noise. I think toys like this one encourage more imaginative play. The levers and stuff do reward exploration with spinning, squeaking and simple reactions. This is very sturdy and my son doesn't have any problems with it tipping over. This is definately one of our favorites.

What a fantastic toy!!
We got this for my son's first birthday, and it has been the most popular toy ever since...and even with our almost 4 year old. They fight over it...they love the flip up seat to store all of their little cars and other toys. And the gadgets are great! This is a super sturdy toy..both of my boys have stood on it at one time or another..it seems it can hold up to any abuse! The only thing I would change is to perhaps make the back handle fit more snuggly, but this would only be for parents..when I try to pick it up and move it, the handle comes out everytime...but that's no big deal. Waste of Money
My husband and I bought this toy for our son a year 1/2 ago.We were so excited about having a "classic toy" to have for many years and hope to pass along.Yeah right.This thing had parts that kept coming apart, ie.. the saddle the ears, the leg.It now sits in our basement waiting for the trash.I hate to throw it away because we payed so much for it but it just has not lived up to the "Radio Flyer" standard.

Dangerous probing ear
My 20 month old daughter received this for Christmas.At first we thought it was the best gift ever but when she got on and started rocking we realized she could send the wooden ear through her chin, eye or mouth.We sent it back soon after.It's nice that Radio Flyer still makes the classic toys but I think it's a huge safety hazard.

One flaw in a perfect toy
I bought this rocking horse for my niece, and she adores it! I love the beauty and durability of its classic wooden structure. It has one major flaw, however. It's in the 'saddle', which is attached by two long wood screws that go up through a block into the bottom of the saddle. Unlike the rest of the horse, the base of the saddle is plastic. It didn't take very long at all for an industrious toddler to tear the saddle free. Fortunately, adults were watching and we retrieved the 2" sharp screws before she could play with them. ... OK but a little time to put together
My daughter shows some interest in this rider but NONE of her dolls fit in the back spot that is made for dolls.She does have a friend who comes over and rides the thing all over the house, so I guess it does depend on the child.It is super sturdy, but I can't believe the original price according to amazon.com is $50.00 because I got it at Toys R Us for $12.00 on sale though.It is a decent ride on toy, but definately don't purchase it for a doll to ride on the back!

Happy Mom
This has been one of the best purchases I have made for my daughter.She has played with it for 2 years now, climbing on and over it, riding on it, being pushed, pushing her dolls and stuffed aminals.No-matter what she is doing, she is smiling and happy with her Push Ride Doll Walker.When she is happy and occupied, so am i.To this day, i'm still suprised how it keeps her attention for such a long time.Another great job by Little Tikes.

Greatest Ride on toy!!!
My daughter got this for her first birthday..She is three and a half, and still drags it out of garage and tries to ride around on it. She was just learning to walk when she got this, and would hold on to back and push it around the house. She also loved putting her animals, babies, etc. on it and giving them rides. Loves It
This was the very first Thomas toy that we bought for my 2 year old.He now has several Thomas items and he still plays with it all the time (he even sleeps with it).The only bad part about it is that it is loud and annoying, but it does have an off switch to turn it off.

Overall, I think it was a great investment.

Tips over when turning
My 2 and 1 yr. old love to play with this but they get frustrated. My kids don't always turn in a perfectly wide arc which is what this toy is designed for. Sometimes they'll make a sharp turn in the opposite direction. After turning around, the toy tips over. They fix it but when they turn again it tips again. I've had to teach my daughter to just expect the thing to tip and have a good attitude about it instead of getting frustrated and crying about it.

It's Cute, But LOUD
This is a nice little train, although, it does tend to fall over a lot. When you pull the string it makes a chugging train sound then a loud horn noise. It's really really loud and scared my son the first few times. But now he seems to like the noise and occasionally dances to it, stangely enough. But for me, it's annoying.
