Editorial Review

A landscape of tunnels and hiding dens can instantly beassembled in your yard or family room with this compact modular playstructure. One of the best features is the abundance of colorful balls(there are 50!). Pile them all into one cube and children canexperience the feel of a small-scale ball room like the ones incommercial play areas. When children tire of burrowing, crawling, andhiding, they can use the balls to shoot hoops into the built-in basket. The pop-up nylon play structure is easy to assemble, but be carefulwhile assembling--modules spring open quickly. The challenge is foldingit back into the carrying cases (no careless cramming--adults will haveto follow instructions carefully). Megaland works with other PlayHutstructures. The set includes one large hut with basket, one medium hut,one small block, two tunnels, two carrying bags, and 50balls. --Gail Hudson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A great indoor toy!
We, like many of the other reviewers, had a blow-up ball pit that our 20 month old twin boys loved, but it developed a hole. We were going to buy another one until we saw this, and we are glad we bought this fun and durable tent

Our playroom is a small spare bedroom, and its fairly large (couch, easle, table, closet, TOYS, toy box ect.) and this is a great toy for in there. It folds extremely easily and we store it under the couch. We are so greatful for that feature so that this toy doesnt have to take over our play area

It is also very very fun. We keep up the excitement by trying new ways to connect it and our boys have a BLAST. Its fairly simple to connect, you just use the velcro. You can also use one piece separatly, like only a tunnel or only one of the tents. The tents are very "fun" colors, but they are nylon so theres a sort of filtration system, its not too stuffy. The material is also VERY durable, it holds up well against the constant abuse of two BOY toddlers...

The tent is a very nice ball pit. Although like many other reviewers, I bought TWO additional 100 pack of balls as 50 isnt enough (one of the packages isnt even opened yet!) And when it comes time for clean up, we store the balls in a little plastic zip-up bag that our king sized comforter fits in. The balls do not come out of the tent, it is a little higher so they wont roll out. The balls are also like very soft, they are hollow plastic (like the balls at the McDonalds of BurgerKing play places) so they dont hurt if you get hit with one.

The other activities, like the basket ball hoop and throwing game, are very fun for my boys, although I think they will apreciate it more as they grow older. They really enjoy sitting in it and crawling through the tunnels. Like many children they like having a "clubhouse", a place where they wont be bothered by parents. I have even found them naping in there on occasions!

It can keep any aged child busy for hours, we have had the younges 20 month olds, and the oldest 8 year olds in here! Everyone finds SOMETHING about the house that they like. I find myself constantly taking out this toy for my boys to play with, but thats NOT a complaint, its so easy to do that I dont consider it a hassel at all

I would recomend you buying this instead of a ball pit, or even instead of a playhouse if you wanted it for indoor use. This tent is great outdoors too (on the grass). I would recomend it to anyone seeing how much my twins love it.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great little tent
We have a very large basement that serves as a playroom for my 3 year old B/G twins, and my 8 month old B/B twins, and as an office for my husband. We have MANY things down there, a doll care center, toy strollers, cheap trikes/ride-ons (the ones that arent good for outside) a log cabin playhouse, tables a t.v, a LARGE closet and a wall unit. WEll this tent is GREAT. It has alot of activities (and we bought the 100 pack of balls, and an extra one too!). My kids love to hide in it and crawl through it. We love it because unlike the log cabin, this can be easily stored away in the walk in closet. My kids like to read in it and I think it serves a much different purpose than the house, this is more of a hiding feature, and tents and my kids love to pretend that they are in teh jungle and that the log canin is there home but they have to get through this set first. Its very cute and I would tell anyparent to buy one simply because kids love it, and its easy to store. Even if you dont have a large playroom, you can open this up in your living room, and take it down when they are done playing, its really easy! Thats what we do all the time! I also like that you can purchase cheep extentions to make a MONSTER tent (when the basement is cleared and we have children company, thats a big crowd pleaser!) even my eight month olds love it! BUY IT, ITS GREAT

5-0 out of 5 stars DELIGHTFUL FUN!
I am SO glad we decided to splurge on this ball tent set!We could not get our toddler to crawl through a long tunnel we already had; so I was not sure this would be a good buy, but we took that chance. He LOVES it and plays in it every day.He runs in to get to the balls.I have even climbed in there with him, but there's not much room to move for an adult! It takes up a lot of space, but I like that we can just set up the basketball/ball tent or any tent on its own when space is limited. The basketball hoop is a VERY fun addition.I love tossing the balls in there easily to show my little one how. What a great buy! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars WE LOVE IT!!!
My MIL just bought this for our noq 21 month old sons two months ago, its terific! They love it and its by far the best house out there. WE use it every day and it holds up to much abuse, but we really bought it because it wasnt pink and frilly, a must with two BOYS

Our sons are still a little young to climb all over our very large wooden swing set, and we wanted more for them to play with, this house is just soo awsome. Its a little large, so I dont suggest you purchasing it for indoor use (especially since every side had an activity so it wouldnt be as fun against a wall). It can fit both my boys in it and the weather doesnt do any damage... we plan on covering it with a tarp in the winter though... before our sons go inside we wipe it down with dissinfected wipes and get all the little bugs out for them, no biggy...

Now for all the extras!!!

SPORTS SIDE->
* Basket ball hoop, now we dont have to buy a little one that will just tip over anyway (we have one inside) and our sons love to play with it (they are only in the 32nd percentile) so its a bit tough to make a basket on the highest setting, it can adjust to the top of the house, or to right abouve the soccer net, great for toddlers or older children!!!
* The soccer net also doubles as a little window and our sons really love to peek in and out of it... its very durable and there is no ripping in it *yet*... but they like it when my husband shows them to kick the ball inside, and it keeps the air flow throughout the toy house nice and fresh...
* The little number game is cute, my sons dont understand it yet, but for older family and friends its a big hit

SUPERMARKET->
* A little ATM machine, so adorable and my sons cant get enough of it... although the older kids have more imaginative play with that part of the house
* The little window alot of the younger toddlers enjoy, its one of their favorite parts of the house, all little kids love opening and closing things, yet again older kids like to make this a McDonalds drive in window or something... great fun
* The big window makes it easy to see how the boys are doing inside, and it also keeps it nice and fresh, not too moldy and stuffy like some of the other houses, we like the big window

GAS STATION->
* The tunnel is a big hit wiht the toddlers, they like to peek through it, its my sons favorite way to get in! The older kids like to chase through it and try to "fly" through...
* The little pump is great for kettrikes and cozy coupes, my sons and the other toddlers like putting it into the cars gas tank, they think thats cute, but the older kids sometimes pretend its a hose or something, very cute imaginations
* The little telephone is a big hit with everyone, they love pretending with it and I usually find it everywhere but the base, but hey thats no biggy
* YEt again more ventalation with the window... I think thats why this house doesnt get too much mold or little bugs... theres just no really dark and damp spaces!

SCHOOL HOUSE->
* Theres not too much to this side of the house, and it doesnt really look like a school, but the younger kids like slaming the door
* The older kids make it a barn and like to pretend its a stable door, very very imaginative
* EVEN MORE VENTALATION AND ANOTHER SPOT TO SEE EVERYONE, TWO BIG WINDOWS AND A BARN-DOOR...

This house is perfect for toddlers, and bigger kids (up to about 10-11ish) there are just endless possibilities for this house and everyone enjoys it... I always know theres something for EVERY one to have fun with outside... the perfect playhouse out there

5-0 out of 5 stars Our boys love it
My 15 month old twin boys (at the time) got this house for christmas! They are now 20 months, and since the weather got nicer, they REALY enjoy this house.

* It is very big, and can hold about 4 kids in it
* There is more than just a "house" to it
* Its very durable and can withstand harsh weather
* WE keep a tarp over it, so we dont get too many bugs and gross things in it
* My boys love the little basket ball hoop, now we dont need to buy one separatly
* The soccer net is adorable, but my boys love peeking through that
* the little games on the outside of the house are just too great
* Along with the wooden swingset, built in and kiddie pool, and the watertable, this is the "big" outdoor toy
* The colors make it appropriate for boys and girls
* It is VERY adorable, not too big or small
* The price is a little steep, but we got a very good deal

We love this house, its soo much more fun than the others, as its got much more to it, its pleasing to the eye and my twins love it, I wouldnt trade it in for anyother one, never

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth the Money!
We bought this for my son's 1st birthday. He loves to be outside and we figured this would hold him until we bought a larger swing set later on. I can't say enough about it. He loves walking in and out of the door, opening and closing the window and laughing at the dog through the soccer net. My husband crawls in and our son walks around looking in all the windows and laughs. At his little party, his friends (ages 9 mos. to 3 years) all enjoyed inspecting it and looking in and out of the windows. The three year old tried to get them all to play school. I'm confident he'll play with this for several years. And we set it up in about 30 minutes. It does help to have a second person to hold things while the screws are put in. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars My kids love it
I have three children...ages 1,3 and 5 and they absolutely love this bounce house. I purchased this one after the Sponge Bob one we had for three years split at the seam. We love the slide feature especially for the one year old. The only few things I noticed compared to the other bouncer is that the sides are significantly lower than the previous house and I worry my 5 yr old could flip over. Also it does not get nearly as firm and like a previous writer I have noticed some air leaking out at the seams. Although I think they purposely do not want it to get as firm to prevent splitting as there is an air valve to tie on the bottom which the previous models did not have. All in all a good buy. Also the bag it comes with actually fits the house with some manipulation vs some of the other models. So you have to outweigh the firmness of the house (which is less) vs the slide feature (which my kids like to run up!!)

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Night's Sleep
Although I haven't had this very long, I've been impressed with its durability and usability.I had been concerned that my very active 5 & 3 year old boys might find be too much for this bouncer, or that the bouncer might be too small. However, I have now had 5 kids in there at the same time, 4 boys (2,3,4,5) and a 6 year old girl, and it's held up quite nicely.Even though this is a lot smaller than the full-size rental bouncers, the kids seem to be able to avoid each other if they want to. Of course, they usually prefer some form of tackling each other :-)

Packing up and setting up are a breeze -- the whole thing takes me well under 10 minutes (1 minute to inflate, and about 5 to unroll the bouncer and stake it to the ground.)

The bouncer for the most part seems pretty safe. The only thing that I found less than ideal is the back mesh stays together with a single velcro fastening. My kids quickly learned that they can get in and out this way, so it's not always fastened. The problem then is that sometimes they will jump against the mesh and fall out. This has yet to be a problem, but the parent in me always worries that they'll bounce out a little too hard one of these days.Still, that's probably not too much of a concern, since they'll likely get more bruised just jumping on top of each other.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it!

This takes the plastic playhouse to a new technological level. Impressed by the hipped4-foot-8-inch roof, red-shuttered windows, and doorbell with 20 different sound effects? Wait for the kids toget inside. First there's a complex, multi-buttoned wall phone. Then there's the motion detector. That'sright--as kids move around, the house senses where they are and responds with different sounds. Otherfeatures include a table that flips over to turn into a stove, and a back wall with a crawl-in hole. Theplayhouse requires two C batteries, not included. --Richard Farr ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy!!!
My husband and I bought this house for our sixteen month old for christmas. He loves it!!We have a little couch in it for him and he'll go in there and sit on the couch and talk on the phone or to his stuff animals. It's great for the imagination and it's big enough for my husband and I to go in it and play with him.The only downside is that it gives him a place to hide when bedtime comes around!

5-0 out of 5 stars My girls totally love this!
After looking at about 20 playhouses and reading about a million reviews, we bought this for our 3 and 1 year old daughters. It's a good thing, because they LOVE it! It was very easy to assemble, my husband and step-son put it together in about a half hour. It's in our living room! All of our kids (from ages 1 to 11) LOVE to play in it. We put our daughter's play kitchen in it too and now it's even more like "mommy's house" We don't use the phone feature too often, but the kids don't mind. They read stories in there, play "house" and just about anything else you can think of. It can fit my 4 kids in there, but then nobody can move. However, for just two of them, it works out fine. They also play "McDonalds" with the stove/table feature. It's so cute! I absolutely recommend this play house for anyone who's not sure which to get. It's sturdy, easy to assemble and fun for all ages.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Playhouse
I purchased this playhouse for my 2 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She loves to pretend play with Mommy. She loves the doorbell/play phone and loves to play house and "cook supper" with Mom.It is sturdy like most Little Tikes products. The only complaint I have is that there is no floor to keep it dry inside. It is a little pricey at $199, but my daughter plays with it every day. ... If your child (or your budget, or your yard) is too small forone of those monstrous cedar outdoor play structures, check out theHide & Slide Climber, a miniature version of the same idea. Itsbrightly colored (yellow, red, teal, and purple) plastic sections snaptogether quickly, and they won't rot. A red 40-inch slide leads downfrom a platform 26 inches high; underneath there's a crawling andhiding space. 3-0 out of 5 stars A good, basic climber and slide
My in-laws purchased this slide for my son's second birthday. He has enjoyed it quite a bit already. It's durable and not too big if you have a small space.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great slide and climber
I bought this for my twin girls who are almost 2.5 years old and they simply love this slide. I was trying to decide between this Hide and Slide Climber and the Kangaroo Climber and I chose this one, and I am glad I went with this slide. Six months ago my girls played on the Kangaroo Slide at a friend's house and loved it, but I found the Hide and Slide Climber to be better for older toddlers as they have to climb two steps to get on to the slide, and then the slide is higher and of greater length, so they can slide faster and longer. I would not recommend this slide for young toddlers (less than 2 years) but certainly for preschoolers, I think this slide is a great buy.

4-0 out of 5 stars Happy Dad
I just purchased this for my daughter which will we turning two in a couple of weeks. She loves to slide and climb on things so I think she will like it.It took me along time to pick one of these out,I really liked the age range on this toy.I think you get more for your money this way. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent!!!!
The table is the perfect size for little ones, it easily fits six pre-schoolers.I bought this item for my two children (2 and 3 yrs old) and they absolutely LOVE it.We have the matching sand-box, which I also highly recommend.

The table surface is a rough, simulated-wood finish, but wipes clean easily. The table is very sturdy, the benches can support an adult, and the umbrella fabric is much better quality than I expected.

Assembly took about 10 minutes and is easier with two adults, one to hold the table in place, and one to install the (12) screws.I installed all the screws without pre-drilling any holes and used a manual screwdriver. It was not excessively difficult, although assembly would definitely have been easier had the batteries for my cordless drill been charged.I would not recommend attempting to assemble the table by yourself, although it can be done.

This is a great product for little ones and I would recommend it to anyone with a pre-schooler.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best table
This is the best kids table I've ever seen. The plastic won't give splinters like a wood table would. It is heavy duty so it won't tip over. The umbrella is tall and wide. This picnic-style table is perfect for small kids because there are not individual chairs for them to have to pull in and out and fumble over. They can easily step in and sit down without tripping or falling. It is comfortable seating for 4 small kids. But by the time they turn 6 years old, they will be too tall for this table. Buy it for your small ones. I'm extremely happy with ours!

5-0 out of 5 stars LOOOOOVE IT!!!
I just bought this for my kiddos and WE love it. As far as coloring goes and getting food or what not off the surface it really doesnt seem like a big deal to me. The groves arent so deep that you cant clean it off. Besides if the child is coloring from a coloring book i dont see an issue. Even if it where one page there are always ways....**rolls eyes at other comment**

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny!
My daughter got this when she was three yrs old. She's 5 and half now and still has a ball playing in it with her girlfriends. They play house and sit at the table and eat lunch or play with Play Doh and just generally have a great time with it. We've had it over 2 yrs and it's holding up beautifully. We love the fact that we can see in and watch what the kids are doing and that it has a floor. I'd buy one again if I ever had a need for another playhouse.

3-0 out of 5 stars Still waiting for my son to like this.....
We bought the cottage for my son for Christmas, he was 20 months at the time. I thought he would just love it, but we are still waiting for him to catch on. The only thing he will do with it even now is go inside a play "peek" through the windows. My son tends to be a bit of a climber, and this is definitely not a climbing toy! I guess we will know better next year! One great point about this cottage is the floor! Most cottage/house toys don't have a floor and this one does, which makes it real nice to have on any type of surface without worrying about your little one's feet.

5-0 out of 5 stars My toddler can play all day in the cottage

Over 10 feet long from end to end--with portholes, doors, ladders, slides, nooks, and crannies galore--this molded-plasticplayground promises years, if not decades, of entertainment before allof its possibilities can be exhausted. A 2-foot-long climb-throughtunnel connects two separate, open-topped towers (one is 4.5 feet tall, the other 5.5). The shorter tower has a swinging door and windows, thelarger one has two separate levels and two smooth-plastic slides (one is 3feet long, the other 4). It's the perfect investment for bigger andsmaller kids to play with together. But best of all, the playground canbe disassembled and rebuilt into eight different configurationswhenever the current setup loses its charm. With Little Tikes' typicalrock-solid, kid-friendly construction, you can bet this sturdyplayground will be around long enough for that to happen.--Paul Hughes ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Note for Husbands
OK, here is a review from a guy who bought this thing for his daughter and nephew, and I think I ought to just make a quick comment to those husbands out there looking at this.On a side note, the one they sent me is not nearly as colorful as the picture in Amazon.com, no hot pinks or anything like that, mostly blue, dark green and tan.Fine, but not the color explosion it appeared to be.As far as assembly - crud.Give yourself 2 hours, have a hammer or rubber mallet and you would be best off with at least two good sized friends. This thing is just hollow injection-molded plastic pieces and the parts barely fit together. You basically need to press and bend the plastic pieces into one another while forcing them together to make the thing work. That seems to be what then keeps the thing "durable". I ended up having to literally stand on and jump up and down on some of the pieces to get them to fit into one another.Even then, one or two minor parts just do not fit tightly. On a pain in the butt scale, I give it a 7.5, maybe an 8.Be warned.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not in wasp/yellow jacket territory!
We got one of these when we bought our new home.It came with the house. We love it as do my boys (4 and 16 months) but unfortunately, the wasps love it too.The bright colours attract them and the gaps left where the pieces join together are apparently considered prime real estate for wasps to build their nests.I'm allergic to bees so I am in fear whenever we go in our backyard.I do a walk-around the structure every day, but between morning and nap there have been industrious wasps and so we can't play outside till my husband comes home and gets the nest down and sprays the living daylights out of the wasps or whatever these nasty things are.We are looking into getting either a metal structure or a wooden one...something not as bright and cheerful looking and something without all those little holes.

4-0 out of 5 stars Adjustable, but not easy to adjust
For the most part, it was easy to assemble though there are quality control issues with some of the plastic seams.I had to shave off some of the xtra plastic on two of the panels connecting 'locks' when they snap together. But most of it was pretty to assemble withone person. DO follow the directions when it comes to attaching the'tunnel' because it is a VERY tight fit, for safety reasons. The reconfiguring of the slides is very easy to unmount, but the 'tunnel' is a different story, you pretty much have to disassemble the panel from one of the towers to get it off.One other thing that that you can do with this playground is that you can just keep it separate, it is very stable, and have 2 towers and one slide on each one without the tunnel attached in which they could have marketed it as a 10-in-1.I actually had only one of the towers assembled with the slide attached in the livingroom for my 2-yrs daughter to play with since it rained all weekend and we couldn't set it up outside. ... We went to Toys R Us to find some sort of play equipment for our back yard.I had looked at things online, and we were pretty much going to get some sort of climber/slide combo, but then when we got to the store he saw the house and made a b-line for it!My husband wasn't too excited by the house because it's not "cool", but after seeing how much he loved it we knew we had to get it.Now, you should know that there were about 4 or 5 different play houses and the same amount of climbers/slides set up in this store, but even though he played a little on the others he always went back to the Naturally Playful cottage. So, we thought about it for a day or two since we still really want something for him to burn energy on (that will have to come later) and I went back by myself to get it.I learned through others reviews on play equipment that sometimes the boxes are just enormous.Good thing I did.We have a Lexus GX470 (their medium sized SUV) and even though I removed the third row of seats, the car seat, flipped down the second row, and was by myself, this thing would NOT fit in our car.We took the pieces out of the box and even then had to do some manuvering to get it in.So, just a warning! It is worth all that trouble though. My husband put it together in no time, and our son was immediately trying to play with it while he was assembling it.The only thing he had trouble with was the fact that he put one of the walls on backwards at first (that's what happens when you skim over directions!).Our son now wants to go outside all the time and play in his house. He even ate his breakfast there this morning because I couldn't get him inside!I was able to fit inside the house with ease and watch him eat.I am 5'9, weigh about 145lbs and I sat on a Step2 folding chair we bought to go with the house since there are no chairs inside it.Those little folding chairs are great! They felt so sturdy I wasn't worried about it buckling beneath me.Anyway, you need to buy chairs if you want some inside.Outside on the little 'patio' there are two built in seats that are attached to the little side walls. These don't seem as durable, and both tables have a sort of kick stand support that isn't so great. The tables can fold down if you want, but when they are up if your kid leans on them you can see it bend a lot.A previous reviewer said their kid broke the table, and I can see how this would happen. That's why I gave it four stars.Inside is a cute telephone that he loves, he constantly goes through the escape hatch in the fireplace, loves the clock inside, and likes to spin the nozzle on the faucet in the kitchen sink.My biggest piece of advice to you is think carefully about where you want it (inside vs. outside), because wherever you decide is where your child will always want to be!Definately worth the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy!
My parents bought this playhouse for our 18 month old son for Xmas 04', and it is the best gift he's ever gotten by far. Two of his little friends came over to our home and all three of them played inside for a long time. They were having such a blast! They kept going thru the front door and then crawling out the back door, over and over. I almost felt like joining them! The house is big enough to fit me, my husband, and our son inside. We keep this inside our house even though it takes up a ton of space, but it's worth it for now. My parents actually got lucky since they saved $50 off a sale for this playhouse.

4-0 out of 5 stars got the cottage
I researched and pondered a great deal and recently ended up buying this one for my 3 year old. Three adults put it together fairly easily. I also bought the Step 2 play mats to use as a floor and put lots of toy food and cooking utensils inside. My daughter seems to enjoy it. It is attractive; nice natural colors. The fireplace is cool. We put a potted flower beside the front door as her garden. Cute. ... Read more

A palace among playhouses, this elegant monster just might fitthe entire family in a pinch! With exterior dimensions of 58 by 68 by67 inches, it's tempting for parents to sell the real house. Theinside is equipped with a foldout table, sink/stove with cupboard, cordless wall phone, and clock with movable hands. It even featuressnazzy features like a white-framed bay window and a skylight. The endwalls have shuttered windows, and there's a full-length (46-inch) frontdoor. The roof is teal simulated tile and the walls are a pale tan. There's even a plastic welcome mat. Because of its size, the playhouseis suitable for large playrooms or yards only. --Richard Farr ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Playhouse
My husband and I searched for the perfect playhouse for our 20 month old daughter and found it. The only problem my husband had putting it together was trying to keep our daughter from playing with it before it was done. The playhouse has even become a hit with our neighborhood kids (ranging from 2 years to 13 years old).It is large enough for 4 kids to play in it comfortably and for me to be able to almost stand up in it.I highly recommend it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not as HUGE as its described!!
This is a nice playhouse, but its not as HUGE as its described!I wished I would have taken the dimensions and marked outside where it would fit, to see how small it really is!I have a huge backyard and wanted a huge playhouse for my daughter.I was disappointed.
I would say its pretty standard size.Just know that it's not like it can fit the whole family...like it's described.
The doorbell and the phone are fun, but there are alot of playhouses that have more "bells and whistles."
Overall it is fun and cute.

5-0 out of 5 stars this looks great!
i'm 13 now and never actually had one of these when i was younger, but parents, please buy this for your kid. They'll have a blast. i do have a fort (that i still even play in now) but this would have been a DREAM for me when i was little. When i'm a parent i'm going to buy one for my kids. every kid should have a playhouse. tons of fun, please buy it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars FABULOUS!
I am so happy I chose to purchase this tent for my kids.It is huge but that's what we wanted. My kids range in age from 10 months to 11 years and they aren't short at all but they all fit in this little playhouse with room to spare and with tons of pillows, a little tea table and their stuffed animals. The best part is they can play in it happily together! That makes the cost seem miniscule to me!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great BIG fun!!!
I bought this for my 3 yr old daughter .. and to my surprise its big enough for my 3 yr old, 5 yr old and 9 yr old ... and their cousins!!It is a great challenge to fold down, but when you fold it once it gets easier each time. Great for camping, the beach and backyard fun!!!We're a big fan of Playhut and this house is the best especially for summer!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Loads of fun!
My kids love this play tent and so do I.I love that the tent can be folded up, so you only have the house out.We also bought the 5' tube that connects to it.I thought it would be a little bigger around, but kids fit in it just fine. I found folding it up was very easy.It only took two tries and within 15 minutes it was in it's bag.GREAT TENT!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars We love our log cabin
We love our log cabin, (...) Well we keep ours inside in the VERY LARGE basement/office. We also like that this house is not, "gender specific" being that we have two sets of twins, 3 year old b/g and 8 month old b/b. Our 3 year olds VERY MUCH enjoy this. Its great for imaginitive play, for an example, after they heard the story "little red riding hood" in nursery school, they came home and acted it out! They love to open and close the shutters, and I like that the "door" is really like a gate, so I can hear and see them. They have climed on the roof, which isnt recomended, but we dont bother them abnout it unless it gets dangerous (we have a soft ABC puzzle padding underneath to keep it from ruining the carpet anyway!)We dont face the bug and weather problems, and we needed this for indoor use anyway. When its not very nice out this is a GREAT toy to play with. OUtside we have a swingset, sandbox and a pool. This really isnt great for outdoor use in our opinion. I have seen MANY playhouses like this one, that are soley kept outdoors and no one p lays in them because there are bugs and yucky water and its a little gross. Inside there is no problem!. It was VERY hard to dissasemble, so I am glad we wont have to do that for MANY years, but putting it back together just took some dishsoap! All in all this is a very cute and durable playhouse, but I recomend all houses like this to be kept indoors if you want people to actually play inside it :).

3-0 out of 5 stars Good Sturdy Product, but also a bug magnet
My husband and I bought this for our son when he was 3. It was one of the few play houses he could walk into without having to duck. (he's very tall for his age) So that was a plus! Not too bad to put together, but after a few times, he never played in it. We realized (and guessed) becuase it was so dark inside that there were tons of spiders and webs in there. When we finally decided to get rid of it, we discovered it was infested with spiders.
The next play house I would by for outdoor use, I would make sure it was very bright inside, and or partially opened on top.

The parachute gambit is a teacher's secret weapon--a tried-and-true way to annihilate the afternoon blahs. At approximately 9 feet in diameter, with handles all the way around for little (or big) hands to grab, this sunny Playchute Parachute is just smaller than the classroom standard. Fling it into the air and watch it drift down. Run underneath it and watch the colors rain down. Throw a few stuffed animals in the center and bounce them around. My 2 year old daughter got this parachute for Christmas and just LOVES it...and so does her 11 mo. old sister! They ask to get it out everyday. She wants to play with it everytime a friend comes over. She jumps on each color and says it's name. The 11 mo. old loves to sit in the middle and pounce on the sides while we shake it around. The girls are learning large motor skills and coordination while having a BALL!I strongly recommend this "toy".

We bought this for our daughters, age 6 and 4.We used it for our 4 year old's birthday party and all the kids loved it.There were children there aged 3, 4, 6, 9, 10 and my husband and I (30+).We all really enjoyed it.We threw on a ball and popped it around, put some leaves on it and tossed them all over, had one child run underneath and tried to "catch" them, and just "made waves."Everyone was smiling and laughing and having a great time. We're glad we bought 2 more to give as Christmas gifts. We would highly recommend this to everyone! ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Fun toy!
This is a fun toy... My daughter is a Thomas fan & she loves this. She plays with it for hours at a time. It could be a little more stable, but these kind of toys never are!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy for Thomas Lovers
I bought this toy at another store $10 cheaper than remarked online here. Its great! My son is 21 months old and he absolutely loves it.Being an active 21 month old the toy can withstand his activity level! I would have prefered nylon myself, but the material used is not really that flimsy at all. I've three very large dogs that climb in and out of it too! So that should account for something also. Great toy, colorful, large and fun for all!

1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth it
My 4-year-old is so disappointed. Thomas is ripping after only a few uses. I was disappointed when we opened the package and saw that it was made from the thin papery material used in disposable medical booties and gowns.

While I'm sure I can return it, that won't fix my son's disappointment. This toy was not worth it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Buy!!
When we were in the market for a sandbox, I saw this one and fell in love!I thought it was pretty expensive though. However, when I started pricing sandboxes and a table/chairs/umbrella set separately - this Naturally Playful Set was actually a reasonable price. It only took about 15 minutes to put together, and it is plenty big.We couldn't be happier!

4-0 out of 5 stars Having fun in the sand
Our California yard, though larger than most, was not layed out for a child. Now that our beautiful daughter is 3 years old she wants to play in the yard while I'm cooking dinner. After all our calculations of the yard and its planter beds, a swing would not fit, our first choice for fun.She was very happy to learn about this sandbox and so was I.It was easy to put together and screw together. We have many meals and snacks out on the table since purchasing it.Our daughter gets great joy from opening and closing the lid not to mention the hours of fun playing in the sand. For the price, the dual function of this sandbox is effective for small yards. We were told by the store that none were in supply and we were expecting to purchase 2 items, the sandbox and the table seperate from each other. It was a pleasant surprise to find the item was in stock. It works very nicely in the planter bed that was the only space for it. One can see it from our dining room door and kitchen windows. It is pleasing to the eye.All that really matters is that our daughter plays happily with this sandbox.Brings back memories of my days playing in the sandbox...happy ones!Enjoy this product.

5-0 out of 5 stars Thanks for nothing.
Toys R Us, how do you stay in business? You advertise toys and claim to offer them, but when someone wants to go buy one, it isn't in stock in any of the 13 DFW metroplex locations. So I should just order it online and pay $80 in shipping, right? Is that what you are saying? That I shouldn't bother visitng your stores because your stores are not properly stocked. And further more that you are not concerned with the inflated shipping rates and whether or not an ordinary family can afford to pay them.VERY VERY VERY dissapointed. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Truly Durable
My brother and I bought this Jungle Climber. It took a while to go together, but because it was so tight, I could tell that it was sturdy. My sisters are five and three and are rough on all of their toys, but this one has held up for quite some time.It was so sturdy that all four of us could sit on it and not worry. This toy is worth the pain of putting it together. One year later it is still in great condition.

5-0 out of 5 stars my nephew loves it!
This jungle climber is a life saver, my little nephew who will be 2 next month just loves climbing and going down the slide. He spends hours out in the yard and he hasn't got board and he has almost had it a year. The only thing i didn't enjoy was putting it together. We had a little trouble getting the pieces together once i got out the veggie oil it went together fast.

3-0 out of 5 stars fun to play, a pain to assemble
This toy is fun for my son who enjoys climbing, but a pain to put together and not all of the pieces are machined correctly. The instructions show two people assembling the toy with ease and no tools, but my wife and I tried to assemble this toy on Christmas eve, and we could not. It finally took my brother and I and several prying tools to get it put together, and while my son has a very good time with this toy, make sure that when you go to put this together you have two or three very able bodied people and some leveraging tools or it may not work. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The right climber
I looked at lots of climbers and finally decided to go with the woodland climber. My son loves it! It was extremely easy to put together even without instructions. Pieces snap in to place with a little force and you're ready to play in no time. It's compact enough that we have ours in the den for the winter yet it still has plenty for my son to do. I put balls in the space beneath for added fun. The best thing about this climber is that my son, who is only 12 months (early walker and climber), can play on it now. I have to help him slide but he has a blast climbing the ladder, turning the wheel, and playing in the balls. The two climbing walls will be great as he grows and will keep him from getting bored with it. It's little kid friendly so little ones can play with help but offers enough of a challenge for older children to enjoy as well. I do think 8 may be stretching it on the age range though. The platform does bow a bit but I agree with other reviewer that this is not a problem and it held me just fine. This is a great climber for the money and one that will grow with your child.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very easy to put together
When I was shopping around for a climber/slide combo for my two year old son, all I wanted to know was, "Can I put this together by myself?"

My husband is currently in Iraq and I'm a nightmare when it comes to tools, so I had to choose wisely.

This ended up being a great choice. All the pieces snap together fairly easily and I didn't need to bother any of the neighbors for help. It's not stated in the directions, but I did use a rubber mallet to make the connections tighter and that made all the difference in the world.

I did not pre-drill the holes for the four screws as others here have. However, had I known about that little tip, I would have.

Thirty minutes after I received this delivery, I had it set up and my son was playing on it.Perfect!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great climber
My husband and I bought this for my 2 year old son to play with indoors for the winter. The minute we set it up he started playing on it.He really loves this climber.Although, there is a slight bow in the platform as other reviewers have stated, I do not see this as a safety problem. The platform is very sturdy.I have climbed on it myself to see.I'm glad in one of the reviews that I read that someone mentioned that you had to pre-drill the 4 screw holes.Knowing this saved a lot of frustration in setting it up, since the instruction manual does not mention needing to do this.Overall, this is a very safe, fun toy and my son really has a lot of fun playing on it. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars My daughter's favorite!
How fun is it?My mother-in-law gave this to my daughter for her 1st birthday. Now, one year later, this is still one of her very favorite toys.We put it under a tree for shade (since Florida summers can be very hot) and she can sit for hours in the "box" (as she calls it) without tiring of the fun!Another funny point -- my beagle thinks it's a great platform for his squirrel chasing adventures! We've caught him up on top of the lid numerous times!(Strong lid!He weighs 30 pounds!)How durable? This sandbox also survived the 2004 Florida hurricane season unscathed! My one tiny complaint is that the lid is apparently not secure enough to prevent bugs and leaves from getting in.However, I guess that's hard to prevent right next to a tree.Educational value? If you read about children's brain development in early years, you learn how important sand and water play are for preschoolers.I'd much rather have my daughter play in the sandbox for hours than sit and watch a movie or even educational TV!As someone else said, though, be prepared for the sand mess -- sometimes we just go straight to the tub for a rinse!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Sandbox, does not become a focal point in the yard
My 20 month old really likes this sandbox.I like the fact that it doesn't stand out in the yard. The lid goes on and off easy and the sides are a perfect hight.I can even sit on the corners and play with him in there (165 lbs).

4-0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun, but the tunnels weren't durable
I got this toy to use in my daycare.ALL of the kids love it (ages 2-9).It has gotten used every day and has been everything from a space ship to a school bus.

The main tent part has been very durable and folds up very small.I usually fold it flat and don't twist it and put it in it's case, but it's easy to do.

The problem I've had with the toy is with the tunnels. They have a wire coil in them and the ends have poked out through the fabric.I haven't been able to get them back in so I've had to get rid of them.Granted they got ALOT of use with my daycare, so they may hold up fine with just one or two children.

5-0 out of 5 stars My 1 year old son loves it!!!!!!! VERY PLEASED.
My 1 year on son received a gift card for xmas and I've decided to get him one of this play tent. Since he loves crawling under the tables and such. I have seen a lot of tents and tunnels like this but usually they need to be assembled, but not this one. I love it that it (1) folds so small and thin, (2) very inexpensive, (3) you can take it anywhere, (4) easy set up (takes 1 minute) and (5) if a child lands on it or leans on it, it just pops right back into place.

This is the best ever...
