Great Toy For Kids Who Love Resucue Heroes
This toy is a great addition to the Rescue Heroes line-up. Some pieces do not stay connected very firmly, but I agree with others who say that this is to keep them from snapping off and breaking permanently. They still work for their intended purpose. The talking computer is delightful for kids because there are so many combinations of voices saying different things for each disaster they deal with. I think this toy does a lot to stimulate the imagination of the kids for their own adventures. It does take about an hour to assemble and put the stickers on.

My boys are just getting into the rescue heroes toys, so I did a lot of research before buying. But, when buying them the M.A.C.C. I still missed that there are only certain figures that work with it.I agree with the lady who said they are nearly impossible to find!!!But after a late night search of every online store I could think of, I resorted to ebay.There I was able to find a good selection of figures and other mission select toys!I am not a big believer in ebay, but when desperate, you can usually find it there!Now my boys are happy little heroes!

My son loves this toy!
This toy is very large and does take some time to put together, but it was worth it for my son(3 1/2).No it doesn't do much in way of interaction but if your child can entertain himself with his toys and plays well by themselves that this is a great toy.I know some children need more interaction to hold their interest so this might not be a good choice for them.My son also has his friends over and they all love it and that's when it really becomes fun for them , they won't come out of the room for about an hour once they start playing with this toy.It also helps to have alot of other RH toys. ... Not as good as the original
I bought these for my daughter when she was 3.Now 5, she and her 2 year old brother play with them.They are no where near as good as my bristle blocks from childhood (still at Grandma's).These just don't stay together well at all.The people that swivel and the wheels looked like they'd add great dimension and improve a classic toy, but with the reduction in block quality (ie, they don't stick together!), I have to say these are a so-so toy, at best.

Another interesting way to build things
My kids really like their bristle blocks.I like the bright colors and the different sizes.My 3 year old just likes to put the pieces together--it doesn't matter if it is anything or not.It is just interesting to him that they stick to each other at this point.I built a car for him--from that point on, he has been able to visualize different things--cars, buildings, yards, etc. and put them together.I think that these, blocks, gears, legos, lincoln logs, etc. are all very important to a child's development.These are lots of fun for a reasonable price.

Bristle Blocks are Great!
My grown sons played with Bristle Blocks when they were children. Now my 3yr old grandson loves them as well. We gave him a small set for Christmas when he was two and he has been playing wiht them ever since. This year he gets the biggest set Imaginarium makes. I feel his imagination is fed with every space ship or airplane he creates.
And his Dad & Uncle get a big charge out of them as well, for them its a blast from the past. We love them! ... Read more

Not so great
Hard to fit all the pieces back on the case. Case fell apart shortly after purchase. Stethoscope does not fit well at all. To big for average childs head and very short. Blood pressure band also falls apart very easily.

Fun...but
First, I would like to say that my two year old daughter has fun playing with this toy almost every day.She loves to play doctor with her dolls, stuffed animals and family members.The contents of the doctor kit are great for a young toddler: safe, colorful and interesting.The kit has been useful in helping us get her prepared for what to expect in her well visits.On the down side, the doctor bag itself is a bit flimsy and has been the cause of many a two year old tantrum.First, getting the tools in and out of the bag requires method and work - things need to go in and out in a certain order to be able to close the bag as well as for easy removal.When trying to get the tools out by herself, (and as any parent of a two year old knows, doing things by themselves is not necessarily a choice but a necessity) my daughter invariably flings the bag on the floor in frustration causing one or both of the clear plastic closures to come off.So far, they can be easily snapped back together by mom or dad but I think the design could have been better.The stethoscope and sphygmomanometer, although a bit difficult to use, are still fun and I can see they were construced with safety in mind.I would recommend it for your young toddler.

flimsy case!
My daughter loved the objects inside, but we definetly had a problem fitting all of the items back into the case. The case actually fell apart shortly after we purchased this item. So now all the parts are all over the place. ... Read more

Such a cutie!!!!!! Must get two for my other daughter!!!!!
I got this for my 3 yr. old's 3rd birthday, well we got her two because, she can never have one kind of pony - she needs one to talk to another!!! So wegot her a purple one too. She loves them!!! I don't think she's let them out of her arms since she got them!!! We got them for her at about, late August 2004. She holds one carrier like a purse and one around her neck. The carrier always falls off!!! So Mommy had to do a little sewing to fix it!!!! Besides that the noises are so sweet - my daughter thinks that it's a real little baby pony!!! That's how she treats it!!! Myoldest daughter's birthday is coming up, and we're going to buy her two too. Sometimes when the commercial comes on, or if I'm on amazon.com, she looks at the video. Afterwards, she says: 'Mommy, I'm saving my money for that!'! I think that this toy is good for collectors and for kids, not for 3-7, 3-whenever you don't want it or when your kid does'nt want it!!!! My kids and I collect MLP'S and polly pockets, lots of ponies are perfect in the family but, this one is better than perfect. We're not sure about the carriers, but we love the baby ponies!!!!

Daughter loves it
My niece was the first to have this and my daughter fell in love with it. We bought her one and she doesn't let it leave her side. My brother is going to buy it for his daughter now too because it has gone over so well. I definately recommend this toy, it cheap, durable and lots of un for the little ones!

three concerns otherwise great barn
My 8 year old horse crazy daughter got this barn from Santa for Christmas. Unfortunately, it arrived from the "North Pole" in a huge box on my front porch clearly labelled in large letters on all sides as to the contents and she is a good reader. Also the glue from the labels is impossible to remove and the barn has a habit of flying open when you try to carry it spilling horses and gates out everywhere because there is no latch to keep it folded. Despite these concerns, my daughter LOVES it and I've barely seen her since Christmas because she's had her head stuck in the barn caring for all her horses in her own happy little world.

Cooleo!
THis si so cool! Although I did not get it from amazon, I got it from Santa, but still! Its so cool! It has a bunch of doors, some that slide,and fit breyer perfecttly! That's what I use mine for! It comes with a nic fence that works for breyer!

The Folding Horse Stable
The folding horse stable is very cozy for your model horses and it is very easy to carry in each stall it can fit two horses on is a small stall the other is as big as a Foaling Barn stall(Foaling barn is a stall where female horses have there babies). Great toy! Lots of fun!
My daughter got this for her 4th birthday. She loves it. She was very excited to show me everything it does. Its really neat and cute. Its very durable. I read that other people had problems with things breaking, but we have had no problems. In fact, she would have to purposely try to tear the doors off for them to come off. Maybe some people just got defective ones?I don't know, but oursseems pretty sturdy and it keeps her attention for a long time.The little hampster is so adorable and she loves showing me how the hampster scurries in his little tunnel to his bed. And the doggie is cute too.I'm glad she got this toy and I think we will add to it with other animals.Recommended, but then again, she is pretty gentle with her toys so maybe thats why we haven't had problems.

I don't care what you say, I'm 10 and I love this toy!
This is just the cutest toy ever!The only problem I've had is the bulletin board/doggie bed falls off.And the pipe is hard to shut after my lunacy of trying to get a rabbit to go down.But the turtles fit!I got this a few months ago and now have it set up in my basement, ready to play with!It is an encredibly educational toy, because you get to take care of pets by feeding them and neat stuff like that.Sometimes I just let my imagination play with them and they end up talking to eachother and going to fancy dinner parties!Either way, it's a great toy for all ages, no matter how you play with it!

My daughter loves it; I hate it
I hate to take it away from her to return it, but that's what I plan to do.She absolutely loves playing with it, and even though it's only $20, I don't feel the quality is remotely worth the money.The fold-down doggie bed constantly falls off, the swinging door comes apart and the hamster tube has come apart.This after only 3 days of playing with it - and she's gentle.They've got the right idea because, seriously, it entertains her for hours, but I'm sick of constantly hearing "Oh no, it broke again." ... Great Toy!
My son has had this since Christmas and he absolutely loves it!It can attach to the rest of the Little People toys, and the sounds are still great even after almost 6 months of everyday use!
We definately reccommend this toy to anyone who has a toddler!

Tired of Cheap Toys
I've tried "cheaper" brands of toys and I've learned the hard way that when it comes to toys, I get what I pay for.Fisher Price toys are fun, and most importantly, they are durable.Anything else, my 3 and 1/2 year old can destroy in minutes, and she's not really rough, just a normal kid.These toys last for years.I bought this one new and a few others at garage sales, and I am never disappointed. ... I received this for my 3 yr old daughter and she absolutely loves it.The price is great right now, especially with free shipping.
She loves to dress the doll and use all the accessories.More than worth the low price...I'm going to stock up on a few more for misc. gifts.The package is large and comes with a lot of accessories!

Jersey Mom
It's a shame they discontinued this line of dolls. They are great for little girls old enough for role-playing dolls, but not old enough to bother with doll clothes. I originally found the little car and all three dolls, Nia (blonde), Gia (brunette), and Zia (African-American), in a Big Lot's close out store around Christmas time, so I bought all three dolls and the car for my 3 year old. She loves pulling off the little heads and switching the little "Pop-Bod" bodies, hanging up the little bodies on the hangers, and driving them around in the little oblong 3 wheeled car. It's also nice not having to pick up tiny clothes and shoes, like with Polly Pocket and Lil' Bratz.
I guess it is a little morbid to have little tiny headless bodies hanging on hangers, but they really are cute and highly detailed. These ARE NOT for children who put things in their mouths, they contain tiny parts and can easily be choked on.
I was a little disappointed Mattel decided to discontinue this line, but I ordered the Pop-Bod Boutique anyway, (...)

I think this is a great deal
I purchased this for my nieces. I bought 2 of these at first. When I received it I hurried up and ordered two more for my daughters friends birthday thats comming up this summer. This came with tons of stuff, and to my suprise it was larger then you expect. This is sturdy enough for kids to play with. you will be amazed at it as I was. On a fast track to medical school!
My twins first discovered a doctors kit right before they were going to get a shot, right after their 3rd birthday in February of this year. Thye loved it, and I knew I had to go buy one. I have a little tool builder kit like this too, so my kids really enjoy it, we have a "pretend" bin, it has costumes and toys like this in them. The smock is just adorable, they love it. You can fit all of the "doctors tools" in it. My kids like taking turns in wearing the stethescope, and the other one screams in it, hah. They play doctor on their dollies, stuffed animals, baby twin brothers and the dogs! I am actually online shopping for another one right now! The smock is also good for arts and crafts, we have one for them in nursery school, but only cloth ones at home. The parts are also big and pose no chocking hazard, unlike some of the other ones that have "band-aids" ion them, this is just the right one for toddlers, yours will love it!

Disappointed on Christmas
The only toy our 5 year old wanted was a t-rex with batteries. How disappointing when we turned it on and nothing happened. We sent "Roarie" back to the "North Pole" aka amazon, for replacement. when the new one arrived, Joy was immediately replaced by tears when the new one stopped functioning after less than 2 minutes! This toy is fragile to say the most.

HORRIBLE TOY!!!
CONSUMER BEWARE!My five-year old son received this for Christmas.It was great while it worked, a whole two days!What a huge upset!I didn't see any educational value to it, except the education of disappointment from a fragile toy. We didn't have any trouble putting batteries in.Although the feel and look of the dinosaur is real and unique, a stuffed animal would have been more educational and less disappointing!I guess it will become a figurine on a shelf!I'm late in writing this review, because I just wouldn't give up hope, until now!

Fantasticasaurus!
This was a Christmas gift for my just about 4yo son who is very much intrigued with dinosaurs, his favorite being T-Rex!I was very impressed, as was he, at it's "realness".Very life like when it gets "ROARING" and stomping around!Great gift for a dino lover..just keep batteries handy. I wouldn't swim in it
My girls love Polly and her and all her pals. I bought this play set the other day for my 3 1/2 year old-the swimming fish are cute-the elevator is a cute idea but does not raise up to the level of the pool-kinda leaves Polly to take a flying leap to get there-but it is an adorable concept. I have to say that the pool that sits on top of the fish tank is not the most sturdy of things-it falls off at the slightest touch-best not to fill it with water(found out the hard way)-although I am wary of the pool -I love Polly and all her play sets. Would recommend it(as long as you keep it and your child dry)

Less than wonderful
I purchased this toy as an Easter present for my 4-yr-old.We were very disappointed.The quality of the toy is poor.The elevator broke nearly every time my daughter or either of her parents attempted to use it.The "pool" is unstable, it just rests on top of Polly's house.We had to return this toy.I wish Polly stuff was made better.

A lot of fun!
We purchased this set for my son Christmas 2003.He loves it.The age range on the listing is off, though.It should be the same for any of the Little People toys - 12 or 18 months and up.There are no small parts.Highly recommended and fun during the holidays or any time!

Cute....
I bought my 2 1/2 yr old son this for Thanksgiving last year & it was very cute.I agree about the white packaging with loose Little People & accessories; I would have loved to have the white package. Mine was in the regular package where you see what you get & it takes 30 minutes & two cut fingers to get it open.I don't know why Fisher Price feels the need to have twist ties on every piece, my son got bored waiting for me to open it.After I got it open it is very cute.We got extra people to go w/ it at Target, they come in Christmas tubes.I packed it away for next year, it'll be his very own Christmas decoration to put out while I decorate the house with the glass he can't touch.

very cute
I find this set to be just a little more than my 14 month old can use right now.Although he loves all the pieces, he doesn't understand having the reindeer pull the sleigh and the houses are a little light-weight and the doors a little too small to really be easy for him to use.I think this will be a big hit next Christmas season.Oh, and ours came in the "hard-to-open" package (I hate those), not a white box. ... I confess, I buy Polly Pockets for my 4 year old because I LOVE THEM.This set is a great value and tons of fun. The Dare to Hair Polly has added a whole new play dimension!I agree that the little hair dryers in the SUV are a pain. LOVE the groovy tunes, though.The jet reminds me of my Weebles airplane toy from the 70s. Nostalgia aside, I give it high marks for durability, interesting design, and fun value.

Well as far as getting your moneys worth with Polly-that is true-being durable-that is another story-the back window frame of the car broke even before we got it completely out of the package-(believe me I am rather careful with this stuff) the little rear seat hairdryers are cute-but when they are removed-there are 2 pieces to it and if the little nuts comes off and gets lost-you can not put it back on the car. My daughter loves the hair crimping set and all the hair accessories. I do like that this one has fabric clothes as opposed to all the other rubber clothes that come with all the other sets-but they do not have all the fine detail that the rubber clothes do. Cute toy-but all I have to say is........eh...it's ok.

The airplane is cute-although the wings come off and the small door also pops off. But it is fun.

i have owned many polly pocket items in my life, and the products just seem to be getting a little better.i think that this particular item is an OK idea, because it's more to play with than just a rubber doll and some flimsy rubber clothes.that is i mean that now it's a flimsy rubber bus added to the flimsy rubber doll and clothes.this toy is nothing but cheap plastic put together and i think that it is a huge waste of money.it will fall apart in a matter of days and leave the child who wanted it for so long in tears.maybe someday polly pocket company will realize that it should make larger dolls, so that it would not need those "choking hazard" signs all over them...until then, two thumbs down for this terrible item. ... Fun but breaks too easily.
It is fun to play with but breaks too easily and is hard to put back together. The roaring dragon is pretty cool though. I also like the video that comes with it.

If put together properly hours of fun
My son is really into castles and dragons etc. he loved this toy. Took a while for me to put together (an hour) but it stayed together fine for months. I don't know what happened with the other reviewers toys. Then again my son is 3 and maybe didn't play as hard - but its certainly a favorite in our house!

Star Catcher Great Present

I got StarCatcher for my little sisters 6'th birthday, and she loved it! StarCatcher is better then the other My Little Ponies because she has a diferent shaped body and her foot magnet that allows her to stand like she is about to fly, also her cutie mark is really pretty. I wanted her and I am a (...) who does not like My Little Ponies!

As for the movie she came with...
well, my sister loved it, and so did her friends but the voice overs are bad and the plot is childish, though I understand its made for 3-7 year olds.It brokeafter 3 days, though starcatcher is strong!

DONT let the movie stop you from buying this Pony... Consider it a bonus!

Dream a dream. . . .
I had always wished for a toy that is beautiful, fun, durable, cute and magical. When i first saw Star Catcher, i was amazed by how beautiful she was. For a toy and a movie, $7.99 is an exelent deal. I am 13 years old, so ofcourse the movie was a bit young for me. But the pony is absolutly worth it. I had fun for a long time with this pony which is amazing scince i am a Bratz fan. The movie (like i said before) is a bit young for me but i think it gives out the message that Dreams do come true and do not loose hope in things. I think this pony is abosolutly gorgeous not to mention totally adorable. This is a magical gift that can never be replaced, not even by a Bratz doll. This is a very special MLP which i absolutly love and will love and charish forever. If you have a girl 14 under and they are into 'cute' things like teady bears, i think they'll love this one. This is an awsome toy. a must own.

Our favorite toy
My 2 year old son was first introduced to this toy at our Montessori class...he was hooked immediately!!!It was easy for him to figure out how to put the pieces together and attach the gears (he loved being able to do all of this himself as opposed to other gear toys where most of the building is already done for you) He sat and happily played with this fantastic toy for almost an hour before we had to leave.The learning possibilities of this toy are immmense as is the "fun value".With no "bells and whistles" this toy ranks very high on our list of toys due to the fact that our son has complete creative control...it's all up to him.All in all, it's a fantastic toy that we highly recomend.

Almost perfect...
My son received this toy for Christmas, and we gave one to our niece. The verdict is that it is almost, but not quite, perfect.

The toy is a set of interlocking squares of various colors that are perforated to hold a four-pronged hub that can support one of four sizes of gears. Everything is made of a durable plastic that has some flex to it. You can create systems of gears that spin around and even construct things like gearboxes. (The cover of the box--shown above--will give you a simple idea of what can be done.) There is a manual aimed at parents that helps them teach their child how gears work, too--a nice touch.

The quality of the toy is high: the colorful stickers for the gears are plastic coated, the injection-molded pieces are free from excess plastic, and the pieces fit together solidly. It's everything you would want from a European-made toy. (Quercetti, the manufacturer, is based in Italy and the toy is actually made there.)

It's a mesmerizing little toy and its variability is virtually endless. There are other kits in the Gear line that include such things as universal joints and 3-D parts, so it is highly expandable, even as your child ages.

My quibble? Our three year old niece adores the toy, but our three year old son only plays with it in fits. Truth be told, I play with it more than my son does. So as with anything, your mileage may vary.

It's nice that toys like this one are still being made. There's a lot of learning that can occur with it, too. Factor in the expandability and how can you go wrong?

Now if only I could get my son to join me more while I'm playing with it!

Bit tough for little hands to put together, but beautiful...
The base pieces of this toy are a bit stiff for my kids' little hands to put together. Also, the pegs that hold the gears onto the base are a bit tricky, but will build good fine motor skills if not discarded in frustration. I was just as entranced by this toy as they were as we played with it together for the first time. The brightly colored decals are trippy and fun. And learning that gears transfer energy they supply to move other gears of various sizes "on down the line" is... priceless. *grin* ... Read more

my little pony - my so soft pony!
Hey there, my name is Katie Jane, and I love my pony because she's cute and soft. I like that you can take the diaper on and off. If you feed her with her bottle (or your finger, they both work!) she gets the hiccups! Then she giggles and then yawns twice - if she yawns twice then she's asleep. When you press the heart on her hoof she giggles then I giggle and smile! I don't carry the carrier around my neck, I carry it like a purse, since I'm 11 it's weird when I do it! I got this pony on my birthday too, at my birthday party, everyone HAD to have a go at playing with her! I don't use the carrier THAT much, I carry her in my arms that way, I get a snuggle out of it! I love brushing and styling her mane and tail! Her hair is soft and silky feeling and never gets frizzy. I don't listen to what amazon says about the ages because as long as you still play with her it's alright! When I saw my sweet Petal Dove on tv I could tell I would love her and I do! My friends like to play what they show on tv when I'm not looking, one of my friends has Rose Blossom and my other friend has Pretty Powder. Petal Dove is a pony that everyone will love, and I love her sooo much! I sleep with her every night and I play with her almost every day. Now, it says here that this is for 3-7 years of play, but I think that they're wrong, I'm 11 and I still play with my baby! As long as your pony lover will play with her, it does'nt matter how old she is! I saw that there's a kid that says a tip for the carrier if you hold it in place for a minute it stays well, that does work!!!:) Of corse I DON'T WEAR IT around MY NECK - it's freaky when I do it! Although, I do carry it like a handbag but not too much, I carry my pony in my arms that way I get a snuggle out of it! I sleep with my pony every night and play with her almost every day! Since I am home - schooled I work @ my Mom's shop. I do bring my pony with me sometimes because she makes me happy. Great price-great toy!
We purchased this for our daughter when she was 2- the other kitchen just seemed to have too many bells and whistles and cost more...kids can use their imagination with the gadgets! It also didn't take up alot of room like others did-it fits in corners nice too. The only problem we had with it was the phone on the side kept popping off- and eventually broke. The overall construction is good though- doesn't tip over as easily as others do. But overall-it was a nice kitchen for your money-

Excellent choice
We just bought this kitchen for our 2.5 year old for Christmas, and out of all the toys she received (including the Dora Talking House) this one she plays with the most.It took us a little time to put together, and I needed my husband's strength to push a few pieces into place, but once assembled it is very durable.
My only concern was the lack of a fridge, but she hasn't even noticed.I figure in the future if it really becomes a necessity, I can purchase a stand alone fridge like most of us have.
It is the perfect size for her and her friends to play at the same time, and will have many years of play ahead of it.The only drawback is that it does not come with too many cooking utensils and only one hot dog for food, so be prepared to buy a package of food and pots and pans to accompany, but since those items can be purchased for very little money, the kitchen is still a good choice and a good value for its size and durability.

Daughter loves it, plays with is more than anything else
My daughter loves this stove and has used it for everything from pretend cooking to washing her baby dolls. She enjoys it the most out of all her toys. Putting it together was a pain, but she has enjoyed it so much that we have forgotten all that. I just wish she would realize it's not real when she tries to pour her drinks down the sink. ... Great Toy
Both my kids love this toy so much. Yeah some of the things fall off (some of them are meant to). The only thing that they dont like is when the slide falls off but it snaps right back on. They are 32 months and 20 months (2 1/2 and 1 1/2) and this is one of the few toys that keeps their attention for more than a few minutes. Most toys they will play with for the first couple days and then maybe a few minutes every now and then but not this one. I have no clue what it is. To me this looked like a silly toy with no point but they loved it so much I bought them the Weebles farm too! And they like it too. Maybe a little too much..they want to play with them instead of going to sleep!

discs stopped spinning
I recieved this as a gift for my 18 month old. After about a month, the discs stopped spinning. Has not been touched since.

Loves It!!
I purchased this for my daughter at Christmas.She LOVES it. It is one of the 3 (out of about 15)toys that she plays with constantly.I don't understand some of the moms complaints about it coming apart.Yes the bench slides off (its supposed to). The sign comes off constantly...it's supposed to! Yes, they can rip off the slide...it's a TOY.The great thing is that all of these things go right back into place because...they're supposed to!Forgive my sarcasm, but this is a toy and it's made for babies to play with andd pull apart.Even the doors come apart.My daughter loves the music and she beats on it and sits on it and it still works beautifully.Fun toy...for Mommy too!! ...
