Looks great, but doesn't work great!
My son got this for his 4th birthday.While the pieces snap together fairly easily, it is complicated - no way a 4 yr. old could do it.Even following the instructions step-by-step, I found the process confusing and time-consuming.Once I got it put together, it was fine as long as no one touched it or turned the motor on.It is not the most stable toy when assembled, so it seems to fall apart easily - at which point, it wasn't always immediately obvious how to put it back together without consulting the directions.When the motor is running, it's worse.The horses on the carousel are supposed to go up and down.In our case, just one horse not working properly causes the whole system to break apart - the gears jam and the pieces start to topple over - the carousel pops out of place, bringing the ferris wheel and roller coaster with it.I was shocked to see how expensive this item was - especially after the 1st few catastrophes the 1st week, my son rarely plays with it now.Definitely not worth it!The gear thing is cool, physics-wise, but I'm sticking with the simpler horizontal versions! ... Stablemates Set
This Stablemates set is cute this set is soo cute it is educational because, it shows that all horses have diffrent colors and tempers the Morgan shows love and gentleness and the Paint shows Fiery and Spirit and the Saddlebred shows spirit and love so does the other bay horse, I rate these set not so strong because these Stablemates break like toothpicks and are way easier to break than Traditional horses are, but besides that these set will look really fun to play with on carpet or wooden floor genltly, if you drop them the can take a good amount of dropping.

This was an awesome set!!!
The Four-piece Stablemates Gift Pack is one of the best sets Breyer has made. I really liked the blue roan pinto (whom I christened Star Chaser) and the bay (whom I christened Double Diamond). The others were cool but those 2 were my favorite! Stablemates are some of the coolest Breyers because they are probably the most durable and they're so small! I feel a lot better letting my baby nephew play with my Stablemates then with my Traditionals. (Although I freak out every time and wish he'd go for the little plastic horses that don't matter!) By this set, whether you're a discerning collector or a parent looking at this for your horse crazy kids!

This is SOOOOOOOOOO COOL!!!!!!!!
This toy rocks but the octo go round is WAY BETTER! beacuse you can rock the babies to sleep:) thats soooo sweet:) but my 2 sisters like the spining seals better if your buying your littel girl one get....oh there both so sweet:)but if there is one problom the dress and stuff could be eaten buy a littel kid....of corse my kitten EATS THE POLLY CLOTHS AND TRUST ME I GET MAD!!! BUT....MY kitten is so sweet:)Bye Love jackie

Great add-on to theMarine set
We purchased this set after our daughter received the Marine set and enjoyed playing with it.It is a cute toy and she loves playing with it, once you add all of the additional pieces together with the Marine set they all spin together.The connection becomes loose easily though and requires you to piece them back together but all in all its a good toy. ... Folding parts fall off, again and again and again and...
My daughter got this toy for Christmas.She loves it and plays with it all the time.She brings me the folding pieces at least 25 times a day, so I can re-attach them to the toy.This problem isn't the result of wear and tear, because it started the day we took it out of the box.I have now hidden the piece that just won't stay attached.

The only good thing I can say about this toy, is that WE didn't pay for it.What's worse than giving a toy parents hate?Giving a toy parents hate but kids love.

Just the right size
We were given one similar to this one...a hand me down. Our daughter loves this little house. It closes up and holds everything and she can take it with us in the car. We had to take it to Grandma's.Just love to watch her open and close the door...and watching her imagination and pretending...just too cute.I would suggest buying this one.And any Pooh fan would love it. ... I feel its a good size
I disagree with the last review.The hanger is a good size and fits multipule planes.Any biger and it would take up too much space.Very sturdy, my son is a rough player and i've seen it take a few good hits.

Very small but durable and cute
This hangar is (I believe) a bit larger than the "Kid's" hangar, but still will barely hold three of the planes in it.It is a very cute replica of the hangar on the show, and makes a fun place to park the planes during play or for the night.The Brenda Blue character that pops out when you press the lever is clever, but doesn't add much play value.Frankly, I'm surprised she hasn't broken off yet!The hangar itself is very solid and quite heavy, and the kids seem to enjoy incoporating it into their play. ... TOTALLY CUTE!!!
I never use to like My Little Pony until now. I think it's adorable!! Desert Rose has to be one of my favourites. I also recomend Strawberry Swirl, Rainbow Dash, and many more but i forget their names. These toys are WAY better than any other toy on the market, such as Flavas. They look so ugly you could just pull their heads off! They teach children to live life on the street, but My Little Ponies are cute, lovable and fun. Go my little pony!! By the way, i'm 12.

These are the most beutiful ponies ever!! I exspecially like desert rose because of her soft colours are her overall cuteness!!

I would have to agree that Desert Rose is the prettiest little pony of the new releases. She's the pony that got me into the new generation of My Little Pony. StarBeam is also very cute. Broken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got this toy for 3 kings Day (a spanish holiday)and when I was putting it together for the first time the little peg you have to put in the horse broke! So much for the jumping part. Well I still had the cute Kerstie doll but the next day the dolls leg fell off! This is not a durable toy. Do not buy it!

Ivo Hugh is one lucky engine!
I can prove this set can make sombody act crazy. My best friend, who dislikes Thomas & Friends, Went NUTS when I showed him the Hippo car! This is a must have for animal lovers!

Hippo opens and closes its mouth as you move the train
I wish all the expansion cars had as much thought put into them as this set does.

The Hippo's mouth opens and closes as you move the train.The animal cage car has a sliding door.My 2 year old loves both.

One of the few toys she plays with A LOT!!!
We got this for our daughter's 3rd birthday and she played with it for 2 hours straight out of the box.My daughter will not play with dollhouses, Barbie etc., but she LOVES animals and miniature toys.While there are many tiny pieces, I'm sure that is also part of it's appeal.If you don't mind keeping track of the 75 accesories and playing WITH your child with this...it makes a great toy!! ... The concept is the same as Colorforms--a bright background scene with moveable characters--but here the background is magnetized, and the character pieces are made from heavy vinyl. The set is boldly illustrated with various fairytale characters: a princess, a fairy godmother, a handsome prince, a king, a dragon, a dwarf, and, inexplicably, something that looks a lot like a Tasmanian devil. great toy
I was worried that I had spent too much until my 3 year old played with it over and over.Yes, I agree you have to be careful taking the pieces out the first time, but after that it is sturdy.

What a life saver this toy was!!
I bought this for my just turned three year old girl.The two of us took a 10 hour car drive with this as a brand new car toy.She spent 8 of 10 hours playing with it on the drive down.She played with it some everyday during a confernece I was attending with her in tow.She spent 6 of 10 hours playing with it on the way home a week later.She would have played with it longer had the daylight lasted longer.It saved our sanity!!

My only complaint is the magnetic pieces were easy to tear when punching them out of their original magnetic sheet.Take care and this shouldn't be a problem. ... Read more

Adorable house, great idea!
This is such a cute little house!It is very similiar to the "Sweet Streets" Fisher Price collection you find at Target or Walmart because it is small and plastic with little plastic pieces of furniture to take out.But this one is even cuter!My 2 1/2 yr old daughter is a bit young for this type of thing, but I bought it in front of her, was going to wait to give it to her, but she asked for it everyday.I do not regret giving it to her!She immediately recognized the doll, called her Madeline, which is neat.She's only seen the show a few times but must like the character because she plays with this tiny doll and house more than any other day.I think it makes it more fun that she's familiar with the doll unlike the Sweet Streets collections.Also, it is a big step above Sweet Streets because her outfit is rubber, like the Polly Pockets, so if you buy seperate dolls that come with 3 outfits, kids can change the outfits and shoes, which is very cute.I would give this product 5 stars except for the price-- $30 is pricey!I found this on clearance at Target for half the price.But if I didn't, and if I knew how cute it is and how my daughter would love it, I'd probably pay $30 to be able to have it... but for that price I'd be a bit overprotective of it! ...
